Brothers and sisters of Christ do God’s word

John 7:5 For not even His brothers were believing in Him. Jesus had four brothers and at least two sisters. In this verse, we learn that at the time of these events, none of the brothers believed that Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah. In Luke 8:21, when Jesus was told that his mother and brothers had arrived, Jesus said, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” They eventually became believers and doers of the word of God. Those special to Jesus are those who take God’s word and apply it to their lives. Those who live to love with Jesus are His brothers…
