- 0:00Speaker 1: Because there are some battles you have been fighting that
- 0:02Speaker 1: nobody knows about. There are tears you wiped away before
- 0:06Speaker 1: anybody could see them. There are nights when you look
- 0:09Speaker 1: completely fine on the outside, while inside you are exhausted
- 0:13Speaker 1: from carrying everything you refuse to talk about. And maybe
- 0:16Speaker 1: people think you are strong because you never complain. They
- 0:19Speaker 1: see you showing up. They see you smiling. They see
- 0:23Speaker 1: you helping everybody else. But they don't see the weight
- 0:25Speaker 1: you carry when you are alone. Listen to me, just
- 0:29Speaker 1: because your pain is silent does not mean it is insignificant.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You don't have to prove your strength by pretending that
- 0:35Speaker 1: nothing hurts. Strength is not the absence of pain. Strength
- 0:39Speaker 1: is continuing to move forward while you are learning how
- 0:42Speaker 1: to heal. There are seasons when life becomes quiet, not
- 0:45Speaker 1: because nothing is happening, but because something inside you is
- 0:48Speaker 1: being rebuilt. You may not understand this season. You may
- 0:52Speaker 1: not see the purpose behind every disappointment, every closed door,
- 0:56Speaker 1: every unanswered question. But don't allow what you cannot understand
- 0:59Speaker 1: to convince you that your life has no meaning. You
- 1:02Speaker 1: are still here. And that means your story is still
- 1:05Speaker 1: being written. So if you have been silently enduring pain,
- 1:08Speaker 1: don't let the pain become your identity. Let it become
- 1:11Speaker 1: part of your testimony. Don't spend the rest of your
- 1:14Speaker 1: life asking, why did this happen to me? Eventually, you
- 1:18Speaker 1: have to begin asking, what can I become because I
- 1:20Speaker 1: survived this season? You have cried enough over what you
- 1:23Speaker 1: cannot change. Now it is time to start building what
- 1:26Speaker 1: you can. You have spent enough energy trying to make
- 1:29Speaker 1: people understand your heart. Now protect your peace. You have
- 1:33Speaker 1: spent enough time replaying yesterday. Now give tomorrow a chance.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Your pain may explain where you have been, but it
- 1:40Speaker 1: does not have permission to decide where you are going.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And I want you to remember this. You are allowed
- 1:44Speaker 1: to have difficult days. You are allowed to rest. You
- 1:48Speaker 1: are allowed to admit that something hurts. You are allowed
- 1:51Speaker 1: to ask someone you trust for support. You don't have
- 1:54Speaker 1: to carry every burden alone. Sometimes the strongest thing you
- 1:57Speaker 1: can say is, I need help. That isn't weakness. That
- 2:01Speaker 1: is wisdom. There is a difference between giving up and
- 2:04Speaker 1: taking a breath. There is a difference between being tired
- 2:07Speaker 1: and being defeated. There is a difference between crying and
- 2:10Speaker 1: losing hope. You may be tired today, but tired is
- 2:13Speaker 1: not defeated. You may be hurting today, but hurting is
- 2:16Speaker 1: not the end. You may be disappointed today, but disappointment
- 2:20Speaker 1: is not destiny. Keep going, not because everything is easy.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Keep going because your life is bigger than this moment.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Keep going because tomorrow deserves a chance. Keep going because
- 2:30Speaker 1: there are chapters of your story you haven't read yet.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And when you finally look back, you may realize that
- 2:36Speaker 1: the season you thought was breaking you was actually teaching
- 2:39Speaker 1: you how to stand. Some of the strongest people you
- 2:42Speaker 1: will ever meet are not the people who talk the
- 2:45Speaker 1: most about what they have survived. They are the people
- 2:48Speaker 1: who learned how to keep walking when nobody was clapping
- 2:51Speaker 1: for them. They learned how to get up when they
- 2:54Speaker 1: didn't feel like getting up. They learned how to keep
- 2:56Speaker 1: believing when circumstances gave them every reason to doubt. And
- 3:00Speaker 1: maybe that is where you are right now. You have
- 3:03Speaker 1: been carrying something quietly. You have been dealing with things
- 3:06Speaker 1: you don't know how to explain. You have been trying
- 3:09Speaker 1: to keep your responsibilities together while your heart feels exhausted.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You have been answering people with, I'm fine, because you
- 3:17Speaker 1: don't have the energy to explain everything that is happening
- 3:19Speaker 1: inside you. But listen carefully. Your silence does not mean
- 3:24Speaker 1: your pain is small. Just because you don't talk about
- 3:27Speaker 1: it doesn't mean it doesn't matter. Just because nobody sees
- 3:30Speaker 1: your struggle doesn't mean your struggle isn't real. There are
- 3:33Speaker 1: battles that happen in places nobody can see. There are
- 3:36Speaker 1: moments when the greatest fight is simply convincing yourself to
- 3:39Speaker 1: keep believing that tomorrow can be better than today. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: sometimes you look around and think, everybody else seems to
- 3:47Speaker 1: have it together. Why am I struggling like this? Don't
- 3:50Speaker 1: compare your private battle to somebody else's public appearance. You
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't know what another person had to overcome to get
- 3:56Speaker 1: where they are. And they don't know what you have
- 3:59Speaker 1: had to overcome to get where you are. Your journey
- 4:02Speaker 1: is your journey. Your pace is your pace. Your healing
- 4:05Speaker 1: is your healing. Stop judging yourself because you are not
- 4:08Speaker 1: moving at somebody else's speed. You may be taking small steps,
- 4:12Speaker 1: but small steps still move you forward. You may not
- 4:15Speaker 1: feel strong every day, but strength is not about feeling
- 4:18Speaker 1: powerful every morning. Sometimes strength looks like getting through one
- 4:22Speaker 1: difficult day and deciding to try again tomorrow. Sometimes strength
- 4:26Speaker 1: is saying, I don't understand this, but I won't allow
- 4:29Speaker 1: this moment to define me. Sometimes strength is admitting this
- 4:33Speaker 1: hurts because pretending that nothing hurts doesn't make you stronger.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It only makes you tired. You don't have to become
- 4:39Speaker 1: emotionless to become strong. You don't have to stop caring
- 4:43Speaker 1: to protect yourself. You don't have to become cold because
- 4:46Speaker 1: somebody treated you badly. You can remain kind and still
- 4:49Speaker 1: have boundaries. You can forgive and still learn the lesson.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You can love people and still understand that you cannot
- 4:56Speaker 1: carry their choices for them. You can be compassionate without
- 4:59Speaker 1: abandoning yourself. There is a strength that comes from knowing
- 5:03Speaker 1: yourself deeply enough to say, I have been hurt, but
- 5:06Speaker 1: I will not become the hurt. That is important. Because
- 5:10Speaker 1: pain can try to change the way you see everything.
- 5:13Speaker 1: One disappointment can make you suspicious of every opportunity. One
- 5:16Speaker 1: betrayal can make you question everybody. One failure can make
- 5:20Speaker 1: you believe you are incapable. One rejection can make you
- 5:23Speaker 1: believe you are unwanted. One difficult season can make you
- 5:26Speaker 1: believe that your entire future will look exactly like your present.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But don't allow one chapter to become your definition. You
- 5:33Speaker 1: are more than what happened to you. You are more
- 5:35Speaker 1: than the mistake you made. You are more than the
- 5:38Speaker 1: opportunity you lost. You are more than somebody else's opinion
- 5:42Speaker 1: of you. You are more than the moment when everything
- 5:45Speaker 1: went wrong. And if you have been silently carrying pain,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I want you to understand something else. You don't have
- 5:51Speaker 1: to prove your strength by carrying everything alone. There is
- 5:54Speaker 1: courage in asking for support. There is courage in talking
- 5:58Speaker 1: to someone you trust. There is courage in admitting that
- 6:01Speaker 1: you don't have all the answers. There is courage in saying,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I need somebody to stand beside me while I figure
- 6:07Speaker 1: this out. Sometimes we think strength means never needing anybody,
- 6:11Speaker 1: but human beings were never designed to walk through every
- 6:14Speaker 1: season completely alone. You need people who can encourage you.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You need people who can tell you the truth when
- 6:20Speaker 1: you are losing perspective. You need people who can remind
- 6:24Speaker 1: you of your worth when disappointment has clouded your vision.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And you need people around you who don't require you
- 6:30Speaker 1: to pretend. Because there is a difference between being surrounded
- 6:34Speaker 1: by people and being supported by people. You can be
- 6:37Speaker 1: in a crowded room and still feel completely alone. And
- 6:40Speaker 1: you can have one trustworthy person who reminds you that
- 6:43Speaker 1: you don't have to face everything by yourself. So don't
- 6:46Speaker 1: be ashamed of your need for support. Don't be embarrassed
- 6:49Speaker 1: because you are having a difficult season. Don't criticize yourself
- 6:53Speaker 1: because you haven't figured everything out yet. Give yourself permission
- 6:57Speaker 1: to be a work in progress. You are still learning.
- 7:00Speaker 1: You are still growing. You are still discovering who you are.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And sometimes the version of you that emerges from a
- 7:06Speaker 1: difficult season is wiser than the version that entered it.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You begin to understand what deserves your attention. You begin
- 7:13Speaker 1: to recognize what drains you. You begin to recognize what
- 7:16Speaker 1: strengthens you. You begin to understand that not every battle
- 7:20Speaker 1: deserves your energy. You begin to understand that not every
- 7:23Speaker 1: person deserves access to your heart. You begin to understand
- 7:26Speaker 1: that peace is valuable. And perhaps most importantly, you begin
- 7:30Speaker 1: to understand yourself. You learn what you can tolerate. You
- 7:34Speaker 1: learn what you cannot tolerate. You learn what your values are.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You learn what kind of person you want to become.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You learn that saying no does not make you selfish.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You learn that resting does not make you lazy. You
- 7:46Speaker 1: learn that asking for help does not make you weak.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You learn that taking your time does not mean you
- 7:51Speaker 1: are falling behind. And you learn that healing is not
- 7:54Speaker 1: always dramatic. Sometimes healing is simply waking up and realizing
- 7:58Speaker 1: that the thing that used to control your thoughts no
- 8:01Speaker 1: longer has the same power over you. Sometimes healing is
- 8:04Speaker 1: being able to remember something without allowing it to steal
- 8:07Speaker 1: your entire day. Sometimes healing is choosing not to respond
- 8:11Speaker 1: to something that would have once pulled you into an argument.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Sometimes healing is recognizing that you deserve peace even when
- 8:17Speaker 1: you cannot change what happened. That's strength. Not the kind
- 8:21Speaker 1: of strength that shouts. The kind of strength that becomes steady.
- 8:25Speaker 1: The kind of strength that doesn't need to prove itself.
- 8:28Speaker 1: The kind of strength that says, I know what I
- 8:31Speaker 1: have been through and I know what I am becoming.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So if you're struggling silently, don't make the mistake of
- 8:37Speaker 1: believing that your struggle means you are failing. Sometimes you
- 8:41Speaker 1: are simply growing through something difficult, and growth is uncomfortable.
- 8:45Speaker 1: A seed does not become a tree without being buried first.
- 8:48Speaker 1: A person does not develop wisdom without experiences that challenge them.
- 8:52Speaker 1: A strong character is not built when everything goes exactly
- 8:55Speaker 1: according to plan. It is built when life forces you
- 8:58Speaker 1: to make choices about who you will become in the
- 9:01Speaker 1: middle of circumstances you did not choose. You didn't choose
- 9:05Speaker 1: every disappointment. You didn't choose every rejection. You didn't choose
- 9:09Speaker 1: every difficult conversation. You didn't choose every closed door. But
- 9:13Speaker 1: you still have choices in front of you. You can
- 9:15Speaker 1: choose what you learn. You can choose how you respond.
- 9:19Speaker 1: You can choose who you allow around you. You can
- 9:21Speaker 1: choose whether you will keep growing. You can choose whether
- 9:24Speaker 1: you will continue believing that your future has possibilities. And
- 9:28Speaker 1: when you begin making those choices, something changes inside you.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You stop waiting for everybody else to validate you. You
- 9:35Speaker 1: stop needing everybody to understand your journey. You stop explaining
- 9:39Speaker 1: every decision. You stop measuring your worth according to somebody
- 9:42Speaker 1: else's approval. You begin standing on your own values. You
- 9:46Speaker 1: begin becoming comfortable with your own growth. You begin realizing
- 9:50Speaker 1: that some people may never understand what you had to overcome,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and that's okay. They don't have to understand your entire
- 9:57Speaker 1: journey for your journey to matter. They don't have to
- 10:00Speaker 1: recognize your progress for your progress to be real. They
- 10:03Speaker 1: don't have to applaud your growth for you to keep growing.
- 10:06Speaker 1: There are victories that nobody will see. There are decisions
- 10:10Speaker 1: that nobody will celebrate. There are moments when you will
- 10:13Speaker 1: choose patience instead of anger, discipline instead of distraction, peace
- 10:17Speaker 1: instead of conflict, and growth instead of staying stuck. Nobody
- 10:21Speaker 1: may congratulate you for those choices. Make them anyway. Because
- 10:25Speaker 1: your life is being shaped by the decisions you make
- 10:27Speaker 1: when nobody is watching. And when you understand that you
- 10:30Speaker 1: stop performing strength for other people. You stop trying to
- 10:34Speaker 1: look strong. You start becoming strong. There is a difference.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Looking strong means trying to convince everybody that nothing can
- 10:41Speaker 1: affect you. Becoming strong means understanding that things can hurt
- 10:45Speaker 1: you without controlling you. Things can disappoint you without destroying
- 10:49Speaker 1: your future. Things can change your direction without ending your journey.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And even when you don't have all the answers, you
- 10:56Speaker 1: can continue taking the next right step. That is where
- 10:59Speaker 1: real strength begins to take root. There comes a point
- 11:02Speaker 1: when you have to stop allowing yesterday to occupy every
- 11:05Speaker 1: room in tomorrow. Because one of the greatest battles you
- 11:08Speaker 1: can fight is not against what is happening around you,
- 11:11Speaker 1: but against what you keep carrying from what already happened.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Yesterday can become heavy. A conversation you wish you could
- 11:18Speaker 1: take back. A decision you wish you had made differently.
- 11:21Speaker 1: A person who disappointed you. An opportunity you lost. A
- 11:25Speaker 1: mistake you made. A door that closed when you thought
- 11:27Speaker 1: it would remain open. These things can stay in your
- 11:30Speaker 1: mind long after the moment has passed. And if you
- 11:33Speaker 1: are not careful, you can spend so much time looking
- 11:36Speaker 1: backward that you stop noticing what is waiting in front
- 11:39Speaker 1: of you. Listen to me. You cannot build a new
- 11:42Speaker 1: future while constantly living inside an old chapter. You can
- 11:46Speaker 1: learn from yesterday without living there. You can remember what
- 11:49Speaker 1: happened without allowing it to control everything that happens next.
- 11:53Speaker 1: There is a difference between remembering and remaining. Remembering says,
- 11:57Speaker 1: this happened and I learned something from it. Remaining says,
- 12:01Speaker 1: this happened and now I cannot move beyond it. You
- 12:04Speaker 1: have to know the difference. Because some people are not
- 12:07Speaker 1: trapped by their present circumstances. They are trapped by an
- 12:10Speaker 1: old story they keep repeating to themselves. I was rejected.
- 12:14Speaker 1: They left. I wasn't good enough. I made the wrong decision.
- 12:18Speaker 1: It didn't work. Nobody believed in me. Maybe those things happened.
- 12:22Speaker 1: But they happened. Past tense. And you cannot allow a
- 12:26Speaker 1: past tense experience to become a present tense identity. You
- 12:30Speaker 1: are not required to remain the person you were when
- 12:32Speaker 1: that happened. You can grow. You can mature. Sure, you
- 12:35Speaker 1: can learn. You can change direction. You can develop new skills.
- 12:38Speaker 1: You can make wiser choices. You can become more confident.
- 12:41Speaker 1: You can rebuild your life one decision at a time.
- 12:44Speaker 1: The fact that something went wrong does not mean everything
- 12:47Speaker 1: will go wrong. One failure does not predict every future attempt.
- 12:51Speaker 1: One rejection does not determine your worth. One difficult relationship
- 12:55Speaker 1: does not mean every relationship will be difficult. One mistake
- 12:59Speaker 1: does not mean you are incapable of making good decisions.
- 13:02Speaker 1: One closed door does not mean there are no other doors.
- 13:05Speaker 1: But when you are hurting, your mind can sometimes turn
- 13:08Speaker 1: one painful experience into a prediction about your entire future.
- 13:12Speaker 1: That is where you have to challenge the story. Don't say,
- 13:15Speaker 1: because this happened, nothing good will ever happen again. Instead say,
- 13:19Speaker 1: this happened and I am learning how to move forward.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Don't say, I lost that opportunity so my life is over. Say,
- 13:26Speaker 1: that opportunity ended but I am still capable of pursuing
- 13:29Speaker 1: another one. Don't say, someone didn't believe in me so
- 13:32Speaker 1: maybe I am not capable. Say, their opinion is not
- 13:35Speaker 1: the final authority on my potential. You have to become
- 13:39Speaker 1: careful about the words you speak to yourself. Because when
- 13:42Speaker 1: you repeat a negative story long enough, you can start
- 13:45Speaker 1: treating it like a permanent truth. And sometimes the person
- 13:48Speaker 1: who needs to stop doubting you is you. You have
- 13:51Speaker 1: spent enough time listening to the voice that says, you
- 13:54Speaker 1: can't now begin listening to the voice that says, learn,
- 13:58Speaker 1: try again, take another step, grow, ask for help, keep moving.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You don't have to pretend that the past didn't hurt.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You don't have to erase your memories. You don't have
- 14:08Speaker 1: to deny what happened. Healing does not require you to pretend.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Healing requires you to stop allowing the past to control
- 14:15Speaker 1: every decision you make today. If somebody disappointed you, learn
- 14:18Speaker 1: the lesson. If you made a mistake, take responsibility where
- 14:21Speaker 1: responsibility belongs. If you hurt someone, make amends when appropriate.
- 14:26Speaker 1: If someone hurt you, seek support and give yourself room
- 14:29Speaker 1: to process what happened. But don't turn one experience into
- 14:32Speaker 1: a life sentence. You are allowed to move forward. You
- 14:35Speaker 1: are allowed to have another dream. You are allowed to
- 14:38Speaker 1: become excited about life again. You are allowed to laugh again.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You are allowed to make plans again. You are allowed
- 14:45Speaker 1: to believe that something good can still be ahead. Sometimes
- 14:48Speaker 1: people feel guilty about moving forward because they think moving
- 14:52Speaker 1: forward means they are forgetting the past. It doesn't. Moving
- 14:56Speaker 1: forward means you understand that your life is still happening.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Today is still here. Tomorrow is still coming. and you
- 15:02Speaker 1: still have choices. Think about how much energy you spend
- 15:05Speaker 1: replaying conversations that cannot be changed. How much time do
- 15:09Speaker 1: you spend wondering what somebody meant, why they did it,
- 15:12Speaker 1: why they didn't choose you, why the opportunity disappeared, why
- 15:16Speaker 1: the relationship changed, why your plan failed. Questions can become
- 15:20Speaker 1: exhausting when they have no answer. And sometimes you have
- 15:23Speaker 1: to accept that you may never receive the explanation you wanted.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You may never get the apology you hoped for. You
- 15:29Speaker 1: may never understand why someone made the decision they made.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You may never know exactly why one door closed. But
- 15:36Speaker 1: you don't need every answer to take your next step.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to move forward with unanswered questions. Not
- 15:42Speaker 1: because the questions don't matter, but because your future matters too.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Don't let your need for an explanation become a prison.
- 15:49Speaker 1: There are moments when you have to say, I don't
- 15:52Speaker 1: understand everything that happened, but I refuse to let it
- 15:55Speaker 1: stop me from becoming who I am capable of becoming.
- 15:58Speaker 1: That is a powerful decision. Because the past cannot be changed,
- 16:02Speaker 1: but the meaning you give it can change. A failure
- 16:04Speaker 1: can become a lesson. A disappointment can become wisdom. A
- 16:08Speaker 1: rejection can redirect your attention. A difficult season can reveal
- 16:12Speaker 1: your strength. A mistake can teach you what you need
- 16:14Speaker 1: to do differently next time. Your past can become a
- 16:17Speaker 1: teacher without becoming your master. And there is something else
- 16:21Speaker 1: you need to understand. Sometimes you are not grieving the
- 16:24Speaker 1: person or the opportunity itself. Sometimes you are grieving the
- 16:28Speaker 1: future you imagined with that person or opportunity. You had
- 16:31Speaker 1: a picture in your mind. You thought your life would
- 16:34Speaker 1: look a certain way. You thought you would be somewhere
- 16:36Speaker 1: by now. You thought a certain plan would work. And
- 16:40Speaker 1: when reality didn't match the picture, it hurt. But life
- 16:43Speaker 1: does not always follow the blueprint you created. Sometimes you
- 16:47Speaker 1: have to release the picture you had in your mind
- 16:49Speaker 1: so you can recognize the possibilities that actually exist in
- 16:53Speaker 1: front of you. You cannot spend your entire life staring
- 16:56Speaker 1: at the door that closed while another door is opening
- 16:59Speaker 1: somewhere else. You cannot hear every opportunity if you are
- 17:02Speaker 1: constantly listening to the echoes of yesterday. You cannot recognize
- 17:06Speaker 1: growth if you keep comparing your present to the life
- 17:08Speaker 1: you thought you would have. Give your present a chance.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Give yourself a chance. Give tomorrow a chance. Maybe your
- 17:15Speaker 1: life did not turn out exactly the way you planned.
- 17:18Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it cannot become meaningful. Maybe you are
- 17:22Speaker 1: not where you thought you would be. That doesn't mean
- 17:24Speaker 1: you are not moving. Maybe your journey has taken longer
- 17:27Speaker 1: than expected. That doesn't mean the journey has no value.
- 17:31Speaker 1: There is no universal timetable for becoming who you are
- 17:33Speaker 1: meant to become. Some people discover their direction early. Others
- 17:38Speaker 1: discover it after years of uncertainty. Some opportunities arrive quickly.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Others require patience and preparation. Don't punish yourself because your
- 17:46Speaker 1: timeline looks different. Your job is not to recreate somebody
- 17:49Speaker 1: else's journey. Your job is to keep taking the next healthy,
- 17:53Speaker 1: meaningful step available to you. And sometimes that next step
- 17:56Speaker 1: is very small. Wake up. Get organized. Study. Apply. Apologize. Rest.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Talk to someone you trust. Start again. One step may
- 18:04Speaker 1: not feel impressive, but a thousand small steps can take
- 18:07Speaker 1: you somewhere completely different. So stop demanding that your entire
- 18:11Speaker 1: future become clear before you move. You don't need to
- 18:14Speaker 1: know everything. You need to know what you can do next.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yesterday may have taught you what you don't want. Yesterday
- 18:21Speaker 1: may have shown you what you need to change. Yesterday
- 18:24Speaker 1: may have revealed who is truly there for you. Yesterday
- 18:27Speaker 1: may have exposed weaknesses you need to strengthen. Use that information.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Take the lesson. Take the wisdom. Take the growth. But
- 18:34Speaker 1: leave the weight. Because there is a difference between carrying
- 18:37Speaker 1: wisdom and carrying wounds. Wisdom helps you walk differently. A
- 18:41Speaker 1: wound that has never been processed can make you afraid
- 18:44Speaker 1: to walk at all. And you cannot let fear of
- 18:47Speaker 1: repeating the past prevent you from experiencing the future. If
- 18:50Speaker 1: you never try again because you might fail again, you
- 18:53Speaker 1: are allowing yesterday to make today's decisions. If you never
- 18:57Speaker 1: trust anyone because someone once disappointed you, you are allowing
- 19:01Speaker 1: yesterday to choose your relationships. If you never pursue another
- 19:05Speaker 1: opportunity because one opportunity failed, you are allowing yesterday to
- 19:09Speaker 1: determine your potential. Don't give yesterday that much authority. It
- 19:12Speaker 1: already happened. It taught you what it came to teach you.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Now ask yourself, what can I do with what I learned?
- 19:19Speaker 1: What can I build from this? What can I change?
- 19:21Speaker 1: What can I improve? Who can I become? Those questions
- 19:24Speaker 1: move you from regret toward responsibility, from fear toward action,
- 19:28Speaker 1: from looking backward toward looking forward. And the more you
- 19:32Speaker 1: practice that shift, the more you begin to understand that
- 19:35Speaker 1: your future does not have to look like your past.
- 19:38Speaker 1: When you are rebuilding yourself, you have to become intentional
- 19:41Speaker 1: about what you allow into your mind, your heart, and
- 19:44Speaker 1: your daily life. Because you cannot heal while constantly feeding
- 19:48Speaker 1: the very things that keep disturbing your peace. There comes
- 19:51Speaker 1: a time when you have to recognize that everything does
- 19:53Speaker 1: not deserve your attention. Every comment does not deserve a response.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Every disagreement does not require your participation. Every person does
- 20:02Speaker 1: not need unlimited access to your time, and every situation
- 20:06Speaker 1: does not deserve a place in your mind. You have
- 20:08Speaker 1: to learn the difference between what deserves your energy and
- 20:11Speaker 1: what is simply trying to consume it, because your attention
- 20:14Speaker 1: is valuable. Your peace is valuable. Your time is valuable.
- 20:19Speaker 1: And when you are already carrying the weight of a
- 20:21Speaker 1: difficult season, you cannot afford to spend every ounce of
- 20:24Speaker 1: energy fighting battles that were never yours to fight. Some
- 20:27Speaker 1: people will misunderstand you. Let them. Some people will criticize you.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Learn what is useful and release the rest. Some people
- 20:35Speaker 1: will talk about decisions they know nothing about. You don't
- 20:38Speaker 1: have to defend your entire life to everybody who has
- 20:40Speaker 1: an opinion about it. Sometimes silence is not weakness. Sometimes
- 20:44Speaker 1: silence is wisdom. Sometimes you don't respond because you have
- 20:48Speaker 1: nothing to prove. You know what you are working toward.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You know what you are learning. You know what you
- 20:54Speaker 1: have had to overcome. And you don't need to turn
- 20:56Speaker 1: every misunderstanding into a courtroom where you spend your entire
- 21:00Speaker 1: life trying to prove your innocence. There will always be
- 21:04Speaker 1: people who don't understand you. There will always be people
- 21:07Speaker 1: who interpret your actions differently than you intended. There will
- 21:10Speaker 1: always be people who judge what they cannot see. You
- 21:14Speaker 1: cannot control all of that, but you can control whether
- 21:17Speaker 1: you allow their opinions to live rent-free in your mind.
- 21:20Speaker 1: That is where protecting your peace begins. It begins with
- 21:23Speaker 1: understanding that not everything deserves access to you. Think about
- 21:27Speaker 1: your mind like a room. If you leave the door
- 21:29Speaker 1: open all day, anybody can walk in. Every negative comparison
- 21:33Speaker 1: walks in. Every fear walks in. Every argument walks in.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Every old memory walks in. Every criticism walks in. And
- 21:40Speaker 1: before long, your mind becomes crowded with things you never
- 21:44Speaker 1: intentionally invited. You have to learn how to close the
- 21:47Speaker 1: door sometimes. Not because you hate people. Not because you
- 21:51Speaker 1: think you are better than anyone. But because you understand
- 21:54Speaker 1: that your mind needs space to breathe. You need moments
- 21:57Speaker 1: without noise. You need moments to think. You need moments
- 22:00Speaker 1: to reflect. You need moments to rest. You need moments
- 22:03Speaker 1: where you are not responding to everybody else's expectations. And
- 22:07Speaker 1: that doesn't make you selfish. It makes you responsible for
- 22:10Speaker 1: your own well-being. You cannot pour from an empty cup forever.
- 22:14Speaker 1: You cannot continually give energy you don't have. You cannot
- 22:18Speaker 1: constantly rescue everyone while ignoring the fact that you also
- 22:21Speaker 1: need care. Sometimes you have been so focused on helping
- 22:25Speaker 1: everybody else that you forgot to check on yourself. You
- 22:27Speaker 1: ask everybody else if they are okay. You encourage everybody else.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You listen to everybody else's problems. You celebrate everybody else's progress.
- 22:36Speaker 1: But when was the last time you stopped and asked yourself,
- 22:39Speaker 1: what do I need right now? Not what does everybody
- 22:41Speaker 1: expect from me. Not what will make everyone happy. Not
- 22:45Speaker 1: what will keep everyone from being disappointed. What do I
- 22:48Speaker 1: need to move forward in a healthy way? That question matters.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Because you cannot build a strong future while constantly abandoning
- 22:55Speaker 1: yourself in the present. And protecting your peace doesn't mean
- 22:59Speaker 1: running away from every difficult situation. Sometimes peace comes from
- 23:03Speaker 1: facing something honestly. Sometimes you need to have the difficult conversation.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Sometimes you need to admit that a situation is no
- 23:10Speaker 1: longer healthy for you. Sometimes you need to ask for help.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Sometimes you need to apologize. Sometimes you need to forgive.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Sometimes you need to change your habits. Sometimes you need
- 23:20Speaker 1: to stop making excuses for something you know needs to change.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Peace is not always comfortable. Sometimes peace requires courage. It
- 23:28Speaker 1: requires you to say, this isn't working anymore. It requires
- 23:32Speaker 1: you to stop pretending. It requires you to acknowledge what
- 23:35Speaker 1: you feel without allowing those feelings to control every decision.
- 23:39Speaker 1: And this is where maturity begins to show. You stop
- 23:41Speaker 1: reacting to everything. You start responding. There is a difference.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Reaction says, you hurt me, so I'm going to hurt you.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Response says, you hurt me, and I'm going to decide
- 23:51Speaker 1: what kind of person I want to be in this moment.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Reaction says, they criticize me so I have to prove
- 23:57Speaker 1: them wrong. Response says, I listen to what is useful,
- 24:00Speaker 1: ignore what is unfair and continue improving. Reaction says, they
- 24:04Speaker 1: don't respect me so I'm going to create a bigger conflict.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Response says, I can communicate clearly, establish a boundary and
- 24:11Speaker 1: walk away from unnecessary conflict. That kind of control is strength.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Not controlling other people. Controlling what you choose to do
- 24:19Speaker 1: with your own energy. Because you cannot control everybody. You
- 24:23Speaker 1: cannot control whether somebody understands you. You cannot control whether
- 24:27Speaker 1: somebody agrees with you. You cannot control whether someone changes.
- 24:31Speaker 1: You cannot control every circumstance. But you can choose how
- 24:34Speaker 1: you respond. You can choose what you focus on. You
- 24:37Speaker 1: can choose what you practice. You can choose who you trust.
- 24:41Speaker 1: You can choose where you place your attention. You can
- 24:44Speaker 1: choose whether you keep feeding resentment or begin investing in
- 24:47Speaker 1: your future. And sometimes protecting your peace means changing what
- 24:51Speaker 1: you consume. Be careful about what you repeatedly watch, hear, read,
- 24:54Speaker 1: and discuss. If every conversation around you is negative, don't
- 24:59Speaker 1: be surprised when negativity becomes your default language. If every
- 25:02Speaker 1: message you consume tells you that you are behind, inadequate,
- 25:06Speaker 1: or failing, don't be surprised when comparison starts controlling your thoughts.
- 25:10Speaker 1: You have to become selective. Feed your mind things that
- 25:13Speaker 1: help you grow. spend time learning, spend time reflecting, spend
- 25:17Speaker 1: time with people who encourage healthy growth, spend time doing
- 25:21Speaker 1: things that remind you that life is bigger than the
- 25:23Speaker 1: problem currently occupying your mind. You need something beyond the struggle.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You need a vision. You need goals. You need something
- 25:31Speaker 1: to work toward. Because when your entire attention is focused
- 25:34Speaker 1: on what went wrong, you can forget that something can
- 25:37Speaker 1: still go right. Don't let one difficult situation become the
- 25:40Speaker 1: center of your entire world. Your life is bigger than
- 25:44Speaker 1: the problem. Your identity is bigger than the disappointment. Your
- 25:47Speaker 1: future is bigger than the setback. And sometimes the best
- 25:50Speaker 1: way to protect your peace is to stop constantly checking
- 25:54Speaker 1: what everyone else is doing. Comparison can steal your joy
- 25:57Speaker 1: faster than almost anything. You look at somebody else's success
- 26:01Speaker 1: and forget their journey is different. You look at somebody
- 26:04Speaker 1: else's progress and start criticizing your own. You see their
- 26:07Speaker 1: best moments and compare them to your hardest moments. That
- 26:11Speaker 1: isn't a fair comparison. You don't know their entire story,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and they don't know yours. Stay focused on your lane.
- 26:18Speaker 1: If you spend all your time looking sideways, you won't
- 26:20Speaker 1: notice the road in front of you. Your progress doesn't
- 26:23Speaker 1: have to look impressive to everybody else. Maybe you are
- 26:26Speaker 1: learning something new. Maybe you are becoming more disciplined. Maybe
- 26:30Speaker 1: you are becoming more patient. Maybe you are learning how
- 26:33Speaker 1: to communicate better. Maybe you are finally taking your goals seriously.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Maybe you are learning how to say no. Maybe you
- 26:40Speaker 1: are learning how to rest. Maybe you are learning how
- 26:43Speaker 1: to stop seeking approval. Those things matter. Growth is not
- 26:46Speaker 1: always visible from the outside. Sometimes the greatest transformation is
- 26:50Speaker 1: happening inside your thinking. You start choosing differently. You start
- 26:55Speaker 1: speaking differently. You start spending your time differently. You start
- 26:59Speaker 1: responding differently. You start recognizing patterns that you once ignored.
- 27:03Speaker 1: And suddenly, you realize that protecting your peace is not
- 27:06Speaker 1: about creating a perfect life. It is about becoming intentional
- 27:10Speaker 1: with the life you have. There will still be problems.
- 27:13Speaker 1: There will still be difficult people. There will still be
- 27:16Speaker 1: unexpected situations. There will still be days when your emotions
- 27:19Speaker 1: feel overwhelming. But you don't have to give every problem
- 27:23Speaker 1: control of your entire day. You can acknowledge it and
- 27:26Speaker 1: keep moving. You can say, this is difficult, but I
- 27:29Speaker 1: still have responsibilities. This hurts, but I still have a future.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I'm disappointed, but I can still learn. I'm tired, but
- 27:36Speaker 1: I can take a healthy pause and continue. That is
- 27:39Speaker 1: what it means to protect your peace. You are not
- 27:42Speaker 1: denying reality. You are refusing to let reality dictate every
- 27:46Speaker 1: thought you have. And as you become more intentional, you
- 27:48Speaker 1: begin to realize that some doors need to remain closed.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Not every opportunity is meant for you. Not every invitation
- 27:55Speaker 1: deserves a yes. Not every friendship needs to continue forever.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Not every argument needs another round. Not every accusation requires
- 28:02Speaker 1: a defense. Not every distraction deserves your attention. Your future
- 28:07Speaker 1: requires focus. And focus requires saying no to things that
- 28:10Speaker 1: compete with your purpose. You cannot chase everything. You cannot
- 28:14Speaker 1: please everyone. You cannot explain everything. You cannot fix everyone
- 28:18Speaker 1: and you were never supposed to. There is freedom in
- 28:20Speaker 1: accepting that. You can care without carrying everything. You can
- 28:24Speaker 1: love people without taking responsibility for every choice they make.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You can support someone without sacrificing your entire peace. You
- 28:32Speaker 1: can be present without becoming consumed. You can forgive without
- 28:35Speaker 1: reopening every door. You can move forward without dragging every
- 28:39Speaker 1: old conflict behind you. And when you begin living that way,
- 28:42Speaker 1: something changes. You become quieter about what you are building.
- 28:46Speaker 1: You stop announcing every plan. You stop explaining every move.
- 28:50Speaker 1: You stop seeking permission from people who are not responsible
- 28:52Speaker 1: for your future. You simply start doing the work. You study.
- 28:56Speaker 1: You practice. You grow. You improve. You take care of
- 28:59Speaker 1: the responsibilities in front of you. You learn from your mistakes.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You make adjustments. And you allow your progress to speak
- 29:06Speaker 1: for itself. Because sometimes the most powerful response to negativity
- 29:10Speaker 1: is not an argument, it is growth. Sometimes the best
- 29:14Speaker 1: answer to criticism is not a paragraph explaining yourself. It
- 29:17Speaker 1: is consistency. Sometimes the strongest response to doubt is not anger,
- 29:21Speaker 1: it is preparation. And sometimes the greatest way to protect
- 29:24Speaker 1: your peace is to stop trying to convince everybody that
- 29:27Speaker 1: you are becoming better and simply become better. Let your
- 29:30Speaker 1: life become quieter. Let your focus become stronger. Let your
- 29:34Speaker 1: priorities become clearer. Let your boundaries become healthier. Let your
- 29:39Speaker 1: attention return to the things that actually matter. Because the
- 29:42Speaker 1: more seriously you take your future, the less willing you
- 29:44Speaker 1: become to waste today on things that cannot help you
- 29:47Speaker 1: get there. You need to understand that because sometimes pain
- 29:52Speaker 1: distorts your perspective. When you have been disappointed for long enough,
- 29:55Speaker 1: you can start believing that the difficult chapter you are
- 29:58Speaker 1: living through is the entire story. It isn't. This moment
- 30:02Speaker 1: is not your whole life. This setback is not your
- 30:04Speaker 1: entire identity. This difficult season is not a prophecy about
- 30:08Speaker 1: your future. Sometimes you are simply in a chapter that
- 30:11Speaker 1: requires patience. And patience can be difficult because we live
- 30:14Speaker 1: in a world that constantly tells us that everything should
- 30:17Speaker 1: happen quickly. You see somebody succeeding and you wonder why
- 30:22Speaker 1: you are still waiting. You see somebody reaching a goal
- 30:25Speaker 1: and you question your own progress. You see somebody celebrating
- 30:28Speaker 1: and you wonder why your own life feels so uncertain.
- 30:32Speaker 1: But you don't know what preparation happened before their celebration.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You don't know how long they waited. You don't know
- 30:38Speaker 1: how many times they had to start again. You don't
- 30:41Speaker 1: know what they had to learn before they were ready
- 30:44Speaker 1: for what they eventually received. So don't compare your unfinished
- 30:47Speaker 1: chapter to somebody else's highlight. You may be looking at
- 30:50Speaker 1: their results while ignoring your own growth. And growth matters.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Maybe you aren't where you want to be yet, but
- 30:57Speaker 1: perhaps you are no longer where you used to be.
- 31:00Speaker 1: That's progress. Maybe you still have a long way to go,
- 31:03Speaker 1: but you have already traveled a distance. That's progress. Maybe
- 31:07Speaker 1: you still have questions, but you have learned things that
- 31:09Speaker 1: you didn't know before. That's progress. Maybe you are still rebuilding,
- 31:13Speaker 1: but at least now you understand what needs to be rebuilt.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That's progress. Stop dismissing small progress simply because it isn't
- 31:21Speaker 1: the final destination. A person who takes one step every
- 31:24Speaker 1: day is still moving. You don't have to transform your
- 31:27Speaker 1: entire life overnight. You don't have to solve every problem
- 31:30Speaker 1: this week. You don't have to know exactly where you
- 31:33Speaker 1: will be five years from now. You need to focus
- 31:36Speaker 1: on what you can do today. Sometimes the next step
- 31:39Speaker 1: is small. Sometimes the next step is simply getting organized.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Sometimes it is learning something new. Sometimes it is correcting
- 31:46Speaker 1: a mistake. Sometimes it is creating a better routine. Sometimes
- 31:50Speaker 1: it is asking a trusted person for guidance. Sometimes it
- 31:53Speaker 1: is taking a break so that you can return with
- 31:55Speaker 1: a clearer mind. The size of the step does not
- 31:58Speaker 1: determine its value. A small step in the right direction
- 32:01Speaker 1: is still a step in the right direction. And don't
- 32:04Speaker 1: allow your current circumstances to make you underestimate your potential.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You might be struggling financially today, but that does not
- 32:11Speaker 1: mean you will always struggle. You might be confused about
- 32:14Speaker 1: your direction today, but that does not mean you will
- 32:17Speaker 1: always be confused. You might have failed at something today,
- 32:21Speaker 1: but that does not mean you are a failure. You
- 32:23Speaker 1: might have lost an opportunity today, but that does not
- 32:26Speaker 1: mean every opportunity is gone. You might be disappointed today,
- 32:30Speaker 1: but disappointment does not have to become your permanent address.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Life changes. Circumstances change. People change. Opportunities change. You change.
- 32:39Speaker 1: The person you are today is not the final version
- 32:42Speaker 1: of you. That means you should leave room for growth,
- 32:45Speaker 1: leave room for learning, leave room for unexpected possibilities, leave
- 32:49Speaker 1: room for your future to surprise you. Sometimes you are
- 32:52Speaker 1: so focused on what you have lost that you don't
- 32:54Speaker 1: notice what you are learning. You lost something, but you
- 32:57Speaker 1: learned what matters. You made a mistake, but you learned
- 33:00Speaker 1: what needs to change. You experienced rejection, but you learned
- 33:04Speaker 1: that one person's decision does not define your value. You
- 33:07Speaker 1: faced disappointment, but you learned that you can endure difficult
- 33:10Speaker 1: emotions without allowing them to control every choice. You went
- 33:15Speaker 1: through uncertainty, but you discovered that you are capable of adapting.
- 33:19Speaker 1: There are lessons hidden inside difficult seasons. And if you
- 33:23Speaker 1: are willing to learn, the season can produce wisdom. That
- 33:26Speaker 1: doesn't mean you have to be grateful for every painful experience.
- 33:29Speaker 1: It means you can choose to grow from what you
- 33:31Speaker 1: cannot change. There is power in that choice. You don't
- 33:35Speaker 1: control everything that happens to you. But you can influence
- 33:38Speaker 1: what you do next. You can decide whether you will
- 33:41Speaker 1: remain stuck or begin moving. You can decide whether you
- 33:44Speaker 1: will keep repeating the same pattern or learn a new way.
- 33:47Speaker 1: You can decide whether you will allow fear to make
- 33:50Speaker 1: every decision or whether you will take thoughtful steps despite uncertainty.
- 33:54Speaker 1: And sometimes the most important thing you can do is
- 33:57Speaker 1: stop speaking about your current season as if it is permanent.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Be careful with statements like, this is how my life
- 34:04Speaker 1: always is. Nothing ever works for me. I will never succeed.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I will always be alone. I can never change. Those
- 34:11Speaker 1: statements turn temporary circumstances into permanent beliefs. Instead, leave room
- 34:15Speaker 1: for possibility. This is difficult right now. I haven't figured
- 34:19Speaker 1: it out yet. I'm still learning. I'm working on becoming better.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I can take another step. I can seek support. I
- 34:26Speaker 1: can try again. Those statements don't pretend everything is perfect.
- 34:30Speaker 1: They simply refuse to close the door on possibility. You
- 34:34Speaker 1: need that kind of thinking when life becomes difficult. Because
- 34:36Speaker 1: your mind can become your greatest obstacle if you allow
- 34:40Speaker 1: fear to write the script. Fear will tell you that
- 34:42Speaker 1: because something failed once, it will fail forever. Fear will
- 34:46Speaker 1: tell you that because someone rejected you, nobody will ever
- 34:49Speaker 1: value you. Fear will tell you that because you made
- 34:52Speaker 1: a mistake, you cannot be trusted with another opportunity. Fear
- 34:56Speaker 1: will tell you that because you are struggling now, you
- 34:58Speaker 1: will always struggle. But fear is not a fortune teller.
- 35:02Speaker 1: You don't have to believe every prediction your anxiety makes
- 35:05Speaker 1: about tomorrow. You can acknowledge uncertainty without surrendering your future
- 35:10Speaker 1: to it. And sometimes you have to remind yourself that
- 35:12Speaker 1: you are still learning how to live through situations you
- 35:15Speaker 1: have never experienced before. Give yourself grace. You cannot expect
- 35:20Speaker 1: yourself to know how to handle every situation perfectly when
- 35:23Speaker 1: you have never been in that situation before. You are learning.
- 35:27Speaker 1: You are developing judgment. You are discovering your strengths and weaknesses.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You are figuring out what works and what doesn't. That's
- 35:34Speaker 1: part of becoming mature. Nobody gets every decision right. Nobody
- 35:38Speaker 1: knows everything. Nobody has a perfect timeline. Nobody moves through
- 35:42Speaker 1: life without setbacks. The difference is what you do after
- 35:45Speaker 1: the setback. Some people sit inside disappointment and decide that
- 35:49Speaker 1: it means they should stop. Others sit with the disappointment,
- 35:52Speaker 1: learn what they can, adjust their approach, and continue. You
- 35:56Speaker 1: don't have to rush past the difficult emotion, but you
- 35:59Speaker 1: also don't have to build a permanent home inside it.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Feel what you need to feel. Think about what you
- 36:05Speaker 1: need to learn. Talk to someone you trust. Give yourself time.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Then ask yourself, what is the next step?
