Cavs Weigh Kuminga vs Watson | Cleveland Cavaliers News
Cleveland’s pursuit of Jonathan Kuminga hits a snag with his steep price tag and sign-and-trade demands, but a savvy alternative is rising: Peyton Watson. The young, sharp-shooting wing, averaging nearly 15 points and lighting up the three-point line, is seeking a hefty payday around $28M and brings championship experience, elite defense, and playoff provenance. With Kuminga’s contract hurdles making him a tougher sell, Watson offers a more straightforward, high-impact upgrade — perfect for the Cavs’ long-term vision.
