- 0:12Speaker 1: It's hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: your host, Rob Shooter and it is Friday, which means
- 0:21Speaker 1: our dear friend Cory Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey are
- 0:25Speaker 1: you there? I am here.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Happy Friday.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Happy Friday. We have a ton of gossip to get to,
- 0:31Speaker 1: so let's jump fight in my friends. What time is
- 0:33Speaker 1: it? It is tea time the storm at the top of
- 0:36Speaker 1: the show. So Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds fight to
- 0:40Speaker 1: keep private texts from leaking in the Justin Beldoni court case.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So this fight is ongoing right now. What they are
- 0:50Speaker 1: saying in court is that all the private messages, they
- 0:54Speaker 1: want those to be kept under wraps. So this thing
- 0:58Speaker 1: exploded when and Ryan accused Justin of sexual harassment. He
- 1:05Speaker 1: fired back with the four hundred million dollar lawsuits. And
- 1:10Speaker 1: now this is going a head. Corey and both of
- 1:12Speaker 1: them want to get each other's cell phones. Each other's
- 1:16Speaker 1: text will Liveli's power house attorney. They are saying that
- 1:21Speaker 1: this should be blocked because these private communications involve a
- 1:25Speaker 1: lot of celebrities and it could be very, very damaging. However,
- 1:30Speaker 1: he is lawyer is saying, why should celebrities get special
- 1:35Speaker 1: treatment just because you were famous and you happen to
- 1:39Speaker 1: be a friend of Blake's and Ryan's, that shouldn't be protected.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And yet if you're not famous, but you're a friend
- 1:47Speaker 1: of Blake and Ryan's, we're allowed to read those text messages.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I actually think Justin's lawyer's making a pretty good point.
- 1:56Speaker 2: What do you think, of course, especially now in this
- 1:58Speaker 2: day and age where many people are arguing that there
- 2:00Speaker 2: are two justice and systems systems, and we see that
- 2:04Speaker 2: sort of working out in many capacities today in politics
- 2:08Speaker 2: and in Hollywood. So I agree, like you know what,
- 2:11Speaker 2: especially with the level of what these crimes are, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 2: sexual harassment and all that, they're very serious. So if
- 2:17Speaker 2: you've got some proof, you've got something you want to show,
- 2:20Speaker 2: or you can help your defense, bring it on. Let's
- 2:22Speaker 2: see those text messages.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Absolutely, Let's be clear here, we know what's going on.
- 2:27Speaker 1: They want to protect their relationship with Taylor Swift. All
- 2:32Speaker 1: this is Taylor swift legal protection clause. Now, Taylor and
- 2:37Speaker 1: Blake have had a little bit of distance between them,
- 2:40Speaker 1: We've not seen them together. Taylor's not mentioned. It would
- 2:43Speaker 1: be so easy for Taylor to rink up Blake and said,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you know what, put on something fabulous tonight. We're going
- 2:48Speaker 1: to go out and perhaps we'll get us We'll go
- 2:50Speaker 1: to the corner store. There's always photographers outside that restaurant.
- 2:53Speaker 1: We'll go there. We've got a Nobu, one of those
- 2:55Speaker 1: sort of restaurants where there's always a buzz, always photographers.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Taylor could walk in with Blake and not say a word,
- 3:00Speaker 1: but she would say everything. But she's chose not to
- 3:03Speaker 1: do that. So my sources are telling me there is
- 3:05Speaker 1: a little bit of tension there now. Taylor does not
- 3:08Speaker 1: want to get dragged into this. So we've heard text
- 3:11Speaker 1: messages are released to Justin and let's not you know,
- 3:14Speaker 1: make Justin oct to be an angel here. If he
- 3:16Speaker 1: gets them, he'll leak them like they'll be in the press.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Let's be clear, you a fool. He's playing this game
- 3:22Speaker 1: too right. Just don't see any winners in this. I
- 3:26Speaker 1: think they're both going to destroy each other. It reminds
- 3:28Speaker 1: me have you know, like when when friends a couple
- 3:31Speaker 1: get divorced and they just end up spending more money
- 3:35Speaker 1: on legal bills and neither one of them will get
- 3:38Speaker 1: at the end. It feels to me as this is
- 3:41Speaker 1: really personal. This is about revenge. It's not about justice
- 3:45Speaker 1: at least that's how it feels to me. What about you, Corey? Yeah?
- 3:48Speaker 2: I agree? And also, I mean again that's a very serious.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I mean, we're not we don't know what happened, we
- 3:52Speaker 2: weren't there. But you know, when you want to defend
- 3:55Speaker 2: your reputation from something like this, these reputation assaults can
- 4:00Speaker 2: really ruin your career from good in Hollywood, and especially
- 4:02Speaker 2: when you're a male in this culture of the me
- 4:04Speaker 2: too movement, and it's just it could be potentially damaging
- 4:08Speaker 2: for him long term. So I can see how it
- 4:10Speaker 2: got really really nasty and vicious.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Of course, I know that if you went through my phone,
- 4:16Speaker 1: there's no huge Jackman in there, but there's a famous
- 4:19Speaker 1: there's people that you might recognize. And this is where
- 4:22Speaker 1: it gets very very difficult. Who's famous. I'm not saying
- 4:25Speaker 1: this happened, but if Blake and I were texting, Am
- 4:28Speaker 1: I famous? No? Are you famous? Corey Taylor Swift? I
- 4:32Speaker 1: think we can all agree it's famous, but it's very
- 4:35Speaker 1: hard in legal lease to know where to draw the lion.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Ryan's famous, So we can have no topic from Ryan
- 4:43Speaker 1: and It's very confusing, isn't it. Here. I do like
- 4:47Speaker 1: the idea, and I know at the moment this has
- 4:49Speaker 1: been really tested. But I like the idea of justice
- 4:53Speaker 1: for everybody, equal justice under the law. And so if
- 4:57Speaker 1: the judge is going to allow these cell phone records
- 5:00Speaker 1: to be handed over, you can't just suddenly put a
- 5:03Speaker 1: line through the people who you don't want to talk about.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It doesn't work like that. You either let them have
- 5:09Speaker 1: them or you don't. But what do you think about this, Natise?
- 5:13Speaker 1: We'll go to our pole question of the day. Blake
- 5:16Speaker 1: and Ryan are fighting really hard to keep private text
- 5:19Speaker 1: messages from really famous people. Let's be honest here. It's
- 5:22Speaker 1: not from their assistance or the people that work in
- 5:25Speaker 1: their production company. This is from their famous friends who
- 5:28Speaker 1: don't want any part of this. I'm not involved in this.
- 5:31Speaker 1: If I'm Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman, I'm not involved
- 5:34Speaker 1: in this. Nobody asked me if I wanted to sue him.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Nobody has me. Well, I think about this, and now
- 5:38Speaker 1: my text are going to be out there. So they're
- 5:40Speaker 1: trying really hard to keep these text messages private. I
- 5:42Speaker 1: think that's a good thing. Are they right to be worried.
- 5:47Speaker 1: What do you think here are celebrities right to be worried?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Because we've all said things in texts that we probably
- 5:55Speaker 1: wouldn't say in public, particularly to a friend. Corey. You
- 5:59Speaker 1: and I have had a few saucy text Essa, because god,
- 6:03Speaker 1: imagine that's when you talk to your friends. You're a
- 6:06Speaker 1: bit slippy, bit lucy. So what do you think here
- 6:09Speaker 1: should be celebrities be worried? Hey, Gey, vote on our
- 6:13Speaker 1: Twitter page I had naughty nice wrong, or our Facebook page,
- 6:15Speaker 1: which is naughty gossip. I mean sure, that's a check
- 6:18Speaker 1: back on Monday. You had to hear your results. Hey, Corey,
- 6:22Speaker 1: what are you working on that? Yes?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Well it's funny. Speaking of texts, this kind of has
- 6:26Speaker 2: to do with this story too. You know, Mikey Madison
- 6:29Speaker 2: who won the Oscar for Best Actress, which was quite stunning.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Most people did not expect it. You know, there are
- 6:35Speaker 2: speculation that Demi Moore was really upset about this, and
- 6:38Speaker 2: you know, she though, Mikey is claiming that there is
- 6:41Speaker 2: no bad blood between she and Demi Moore, and she's
- 6:44Speaker 2: claiming that she and Demi Moore actually texted together, and
- 6:48Speaker 2: she says that, you know, Demi had no hard feelings.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And then she herself said she even had a hug
- 6:52Speaker 2: with one of the other actual nominees in the race,
- 6:56Speaker 2: and she said that you know, there's no bad blood,
- 6:58Speaker 2: but you know, the twenty five year old breakout star,
- 7:00Speaker 2: she stunned audiences. She did. You know, she's the first
- 7:03Speaker 2: Gen Z actress to win, so she's ushering in a
- 7:06Speaker 2: whole new generation, your whole new era. But you know,
- 7:09Speaker 2: fans speculated that Demi Moore was going to win. You know,
- 7:12Speaker 2: I was doing the TV show stuff, and I was
- 7:14Speaker 2: saying Demi was gonna win.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I thought was gonna win. Thought Dennie thought she was
- 7:17Speaker 1: gonna win. Everyone. Yeah, everyone.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Apparently she's saying a Demi like Apparently Demi was walking
- 7:23Speaker 2: around like just kind of like dejected looking. Afterwards, she was.
- 7:27Speaker 1: She's a little stunned by this, and it's probably our
- 7:29Speaker 1: fault because of the entire media, including the New York Times,
- 7:32Speaker 1: not just and blogs, but the New York Times. Demi
- 7:37Speaker 1: was gonna win. There was no dance about it. And
- 7:39Speaker 1: so Demi reads all that stuff. She thought she was
- 7:41Speaker 1: going to win. I think Mikey's saying this is nice,
- 7:43Speaker 1: but you have to remember there's two people here, Mikey,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you might be fine with Demi, and everything might be
- 7:49Speaker 1: fine with you because you won. Demi is putting on
- 7:52Speaker 1: a good show. She's devastated. I spoke to some people
- 7:55Speaker 1: who were close to her and said, she's a professional
- 7:57Speaker 1: and she's a good person, but you can still be
- 7:59Speaker 1: a good person and be disappointed. There's lots of things
- 8:01Speaker 1: that have happened in all our lives that have left
- 8:04Speaker 1: us deeply disappointed. We know that we'll get over it,
- 8:07Speaker 1: we know that we're going to move on, but in
- 8:08Speaker 1: the moment, you're allowed to be sad, and I think
- 8:10Speaker 1: Demi's having a really sad moment. The good news here, though,
- 8:14Speaker 1: is mindsiders tell me Demi's agents and managers have been
- 8:18Speaker 1: inundated with scripts and the type of movies that she
- 8:22Speaker 1: doesn't normally get offered. These normally go to Nicole Kidsman
- 8:26Speaker 1: or different actresses or the Meryl Streeps. And for Demi
- 8:29Speaker 1: to be getting scripts that would go to normally these
- 8:32Speaker 1: actors and actresses that are a little bit more considered fancy,
- 8:37Speaker 1: Demi is a huge deal and she's currently working on
- 8:40Speaker 1: a new movie. It's a Devil Wears Prado type movie
- 8:43Speaker 1: where she plays a fashion executive, but it's a lot darker.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I'm told maybe she could get a nomination for this,
- 8:50Speaker 1: And this is how the Academy works. It teases you
- 8:53Speaker 1: it did this with Share, it got Share a nomination,
- 8:56Speaker 1: but she didn't win, and then a couple of years
- 8:58Speaker 1: later or the following year, she did win. And so
- 9:01Speaker 1: I think this is now changed our perception of Denimore.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Now I would argue Cory losing. We're talking about her
- 9:10Speaker 1: more than she would.
- 9:12Speaker 2: You know, that's very true. And also sometimes that Oscar
- 9:15Speaker 2: win is the kiss of death halle Berry. I mean, well,
- 9:18Speaker 2: first of all, she made such bad choices after that
- 9:21Speaker 2: Cat Woman was hideous. But you know, I just think
- 9:23Speaker 2: Demy did the work already, So this is a little different.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I mean, Demy is brilliant in ghost just the emotion
- 9:29Speaker 2: and ghosts. She's brilliant and g I Jane, you know
- 9:33Speaker 2: she worked for someone great. Yeah she was, and she
- 9:36Speaker 2: was she was spectacular, and so she's already done the work.
- 9:39Speaker 2: So it's almost like, hey, Hollywood, if you're going to
- 9:41Speaker 2: do it at this stage in her career, I don't
- 9:43Speaker 2: think she has to prove to you that she's valid anymore.
- 9:47Speaker 2: She's done that already.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You're right little disappointed, my key. I love that you're
- 9:52Speaker 1: saying this. I do. But it's not why accurate. It's
- 9:55Speaker 1: how you feel. So you have no hard but you're right.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You should think right now. Yeah, Debbie, I'm told us
- 10:02Speaker 1: a little bit more? Should we say raw? A little
- 10:04Speaker 1: bit more raw? Okay? Moving along. Mega Markele has admitted
- 10:08Speaker 1: that her children, Archie and Lilibert, have a little bit
- 10:10Speaker 1: of a British accent, so they speak with an American accent,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but a few words they say as a brit word zebra,
- 10:19Speaker 1: and zebra is one of the words that she really
- 10:21Speaker 1: thinks is quite charming. She was on the Drew Barrymore Show.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It's a rare appearance. She doesn't make a lot of
- 10:26Speaker 1: TV appearances. This is to promote her Netflix special. She
- 10:30Speaker 1: also did the cover of People magazine. I thought she
- 10:33Speaker 1: was great with Drew. They were really fun together, gossiping
- 10:36Speaker 1: up a storm, talking about life, talking about royals. But
- 10:39Speaker 1: this was really cute about accents. I love it. I
- 10:43Speaker 1: have in my building a beautiful French couple and they
- 10:46Speaker 1: have two French children who speak English with a French
- 10:50Speaker 1: accent and It gives me such a giggle whenever I'm
- 10:53Speaker 1: in the elevator, Corey, it does make me smile. Zebra
- 10:58Speaker 1: or zebra? How do you say it?
- 11:00Speaker 2: I say zebra. But I have to be honest now
- 11:02Speaker 2: that I work with you so much, I.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Do find myself.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I find myself turning into like Mary Poppin sometimes I
- 11:09Speaker 2: do have these words come out, and Joey looks at
- 11:11Speaker 2: me like Julie Andrews all of a sudden, like what's happening.
- 11:15Speaker 2: So you do imitate people that you kind of are around.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Particularly people you're affectionates about, and your goodness knows that
- 11:21Speaker 1: that age. Hopefully at all ages, you're affectionists about your
- 11:24Speaker 1: mom and dad. I though the nicest thing. And we've
- 11:25Speaker 1: really been quite hard on Megan on this show, and
- 11:28Speaker 1: looking back now, I regret how harsh I been. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: didn't enjoy the show. I didn't think it was a
- 11:34Speaker 1: very good show. However, you can say that without insulting
- 11:38Speaker 1: the person. And I hope we didn't cross that line
- 11:40Speaker 1: here and make it struggling. She's really trying to figure
- 11:43Speaker 1: out who she is and what she's gonna make some
- 11:46Speaker 1: money out. Let's be honest, She's not doing this because
- 11:48Speaker 1: she's bored. She needs to ask me cash, and they've
- 11:50Speaker 1: offered her a lot of money to do it, and
- 11:53Speaker 1: we would say yes too. I just don't yet figure
- 11:57Speaker 1: I don't believe Corey she's yet figured out exactly who
- 12:00Speaker 1: she's going to be.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, and I think that this lifestyle brand
- 12:05Speaker 2: thing for me with her. I want her to hire
- 12:09Speaker 2: me for marketing because it's been wrong from the beginning.
- 12:12Speaker 2: American Riviera origard the worst name I've ever heard of,
- 12:16Speaker 2: I like, and then they changed it to as Ever,
- 12:18Speaker 2: which sounds like as if and whatever. Like, I don't
- 12:21Speaker 2: know who's advising.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Do you know what? Donnie thinks it should be called
- 12:25Speaker 1: Markle Sparkle, but now she's not mark Now she's about
- 12:34Speaker 1: She even does someone on camera, which I thought was
- 12:37Speaker 1: a little aggressive too. I want us to be successful.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I really do. Mean, if you're listening to Lover Love Alone,
- 12:42Speaker 1: any Megan fans that we've insulted, I'm terribly sorry about that.
- 12:46Speaker 1: We try to bring the news and one I did
- 12:49Speaker 1: get one note saying to just stop talking about it,
- 12:52Speaker 1: but that isn't going to help Megan. Megan's June TV.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Megan's doing covers of magazines because she wants us to
- 12:58Speaker 1: talk about it. She might not like what we're saying,
- 13:01Speaker 1: but she does want us to talk about it. I
- 13:02Speaker 1: think the best thing for Megan to do is launch
- 13:05Speaker 1: her products like Gwyneth and Martha and Jessica Albert and
- 13:10Speaker 1: not do that much press at first and let the
- 13:13Speaker 1: products speak for themselves. Long before Gwyneth was on TV
- 13:18Speaker 1: promoting Goop, it was just a website. Jessica Albert's not
- 13:22Speaker 1: out there doing much for Honey. She's in some commercials
- 13:25Speaker 1: and she promotes it, but the products are just so good.
- 13:28Speaker 1: So my advice Megan is make it less about you
- 13:30Speaker 1: at least for the moment, and more about the products. Okay,
- 13:34Speaker 1: quickly before we're going to get a break. I sort
- 13:36Speaker 1: of loves this story. Pete Davidson is trying to get
- 13:39Speaker 1: a friendship bag with an expensive give. It just scares
- 13:42Speaker 1: to share you. Even really famous people, they're sloppy, They
- 13:45Speaker 1: fall in and out. They have good friends one day,
- 13:47Speaker 1: bad friends. It's awful when friends break out, but break up.
- 13:50Speaker 1: But what what's going on?
- 13:52Speaker 2: What Pete Davis and as you said, as he and
- 13:54Speaker 2: Carlin had this little I had no idea the fight
- 13:56Speaker 2: that was going on. So now we know because apparently
- 13:59Speaker 2: Pete Davis and just digging deep into his pockets to
- 14:02Speaker 2: make peace with Carlin Jaspy offering him a twenty thousand
- 14:06Speaker 2: dollars Carnelie friends, and it's an attempt ring. It's an
- 14:10Speaker 2: attempt to mend their rumored fall out. Now the exact
- 14:12Speaker 2: reason for the behind the scenes remains is a mystery,
- 14:15Speaker 2: like no one has told us what exactly happened.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I think I know, cour you know I do. I
- 14:19Speaker 1: broke this story. It's about that ferry they bought. Remember
- 14:22Speaker 1: they bought that ferry together, the Staten Island Faerry, and
- 14:25Speaker 1: they're going to turn it into a nightclub. And they
- 14:27Speaker 1: spent a couple of hundred thousand dollars on it. And
- 14:30Speaker 1: then Pete went a well miss him and so Collin's like,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I bought a boat I'm sitting in and he's just
- 14:37Speaker 1: sitting there and I'm paying like to dock this boat.
- 14:40Speaker 1: It was about money. Don't get into business with your friends.
- 14:44Speaker 2: See that is a tricky one.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Clear, friends who are going through trauma, through difficult times.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Pete's being really honest about his mental state and his
- 14:53Speaker 1: difficulties and said that's what it was about. But Pete
- 14:55Speaker 1: now is in a really good place and I think
- 14:57Speaker 1: he wants to make this up. But instead of engine
- 15:00Speaker 1: him a watch, est fixed that boat book. Okay, we're
- 15:04Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and we will be
- 15:06Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show. Corey.
- 15:10Speaker 1: If ever I try to convince you that we should
- 15:12Speaker 1: buy a boat together, tell me no, We'll get a canoe.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Just a little two people be fabulous. Okay, let's get
- 15:23Speaker 1: to the poles that they're dirt, shall We talked about
- 15:26Speaker 1: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner having a little bit of PDA,
- 15:30Speaker 1: more than a little. His hands were all over Her
- 15:33Speaker 1: question was should these two get back together? Nine? Absolutely not.
- 15:38Speaker 1: We should not get back together. I did hit the phones,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and my sources tell me she's not having any of this.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Ben probably would like to get back together. He's the
- 15:46Speaker 1: rebound guy. But Jennifer has moved on. She's been there,
- 15:50Speaker 1: she's seeing the disaster that it was. No thank you,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I agree with you. Naughty Hey, don't forget to vote
- 15:56Speaker 1: on today's pole. Go to our Twitter page at Naughty
- 15:58Speaker 1: Nice ram a face pages and be sure to check
- 16:03Speaker 1: back on Mondata, here your results and now.
- 16:09Speaker 2: The day. Well, this is really a nice one on
- 16:13Speaker 2: fingers crossed because Celine Dion is eyeing a triumphant return
- 16:18Speaker 2: to Las Vegas, and you know what, amid this health
- 16:21Speaker 2: battle that she's been going through, people are saying that
- 16:23Speaker 2: maybe she can pull it off. And she's not backing
- 16:26Speaker 2: down despite her ongoing you know, stiff person's disease syndrome,
- 16:29Speaker 2: as she has been battling for a while. But the
- 16:31Speaker 2: legendary songstress has her sites on returning to Vegas and
- 16:35Speaker 2: and a music insider tells in Touch magazine exclusively that
- 16:38Speaker 2: the fifty six year old my heart will go on.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I can't want to reclaim her throat the entertainment capital
- 16:45Speaker 2: of the world, which I thought was Hollywood, but I
- 16:47Speaker 2: guess apparently maybe the capital Vegas is definitely like the Live,
- 16:54Speaker 2: Yeah Live.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I like this story. I love Selene. I know that
- 16:58Speaker 1: she loves to perform, she loves her work. I saw
- 17:01Speaker 1: her in Vegas when she was Caesar's Palace. Oh my goodness,
- 17:04Speaker 1: it's one of the best shows I've ever seen in Vegas.
- 17:06Speaker 1: It was so larger than that voice. You're right and
- 17:09Speaker 1: those songs she has so many hits. Yeah, like sometimes
- 17:13Speaker 1: you get to see people and you only know a
- 17:14Speaker 1: couple of the songs. Every single song.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Famous, right, Like even before her big hit, I realized,
- 17:21Speaker 2: like the songs like words, my heart beat Now and Yes,
- 17:24Speaker 2: like things that from the late nineties, I'm like, oh
- 17:26Speaker 2: my god, I did not.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Know she was Beauty and the Beast. Did I know?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I did.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I knew the Titanic one. I love that at least
- 17:37Speaker 1: she's she's fabulous. Was sending you all I love and
- 17:41Speaker 1: really hoping that this dream, this passion, it comes true. Okay,
- 17:46Speaker 1: let's send me that naughty to day and naughty Naughty
- 17:49Speaker 1: Day is old mom Nadia Sillimon, who's saying I never
- 17:53Speaker 1: wanted to be famous. Now, let's remember she said that
- 17:55Speaker 1: on an interview with Good Body America while promoting her
- 17:58Speaker 1: own show. If you don't want to be famous, don't
- 18:02Speaker 1: go on GNA. You don't want to be famous, don't
- 18:05Speaker 1: do the cover of People magazine. If you want to
- 18:07Speaker 1: be famous, don't do a reality show. I've known Nadia
- 18:10Speaker 1: for over twenty years, and she actually is kind of
- 18:13Speaker 1: a cool person and a little bit shy, a little bit,
- 18:17Speaker 1: but shy people can still want to be famous, Michael Jackson,
- 18:19Speaker 1: a lot of people, And so I just don't really
- 18:22Speaker 1: buy this. And I think, Nadia, if you're listening lower low,
- 18:25Speaker 1: the way that this show, this reality show is going
- 18:27Speaker 1: to be a hit A friend of mine, Terrence, is
- 18:29Speaker 1: producing it. So I'm really rooting for it. But the
- 18:31Speaker 1: way it's going to be a hit is that people
- 18:33Speaker 1: have to believe that finally you are telling the truth
- 18:36Speaker 1: and being authentic and going on television to say that
- 18:39Speaker 1: you don't want to be famous. Yeah, not a good look.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I noticed the day. Let's end with a moment of
- 18:47Speaker 1: rob You're gonna rub this is really important. Motivation, forget it.
- 18:53Speaker 1: It's a myth. I wish that wasn't true. I wish
- 18:56Speaker 1: I could blame the lack of progress in my life.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Are not feeling motivated enough. But here's the hard truth
- 19:04Speaker 1: about motivation, Corey. It's a myth. Motivation is fleeting. It
- 19:09Speaker 1: comes and goes like the weather, and if you rely
- 19:12Speaker 1: on it, you'll only show up when you feel like it.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And that's not how success works. What really matters not motivation,
- 19:19Speaker 1: that's a myth. What really matters discipline. Discipline is what
- 19:23Speaker 1: carries you through when you don't feel like showing up.
- 19:26Speaker 1: So if you're not motivated, you know how you'll show
- 19:29Speaker 1: up because you've got the discipline. Discipline is what gets
- 19:32Speaker 1: you to the gym, not motivation. It keeps you working
- 19:35Speaker 1: on your goals, not motivation, and it moves you forward
- 19:39Speaker 1: even on the tough day. Is to stop waiting to
- 19:42Speaker 1: feel motivated because it's not going to show up, and
- 19:45Speaker 1: if it does show up, it's only going to be
- 19:47Speaker 1: for a minute. Instead, do the work because real progress
- 19:53Speaker 1: comes from consistency, not from a temporary spark of inspiration motivation. Hey,
- 20:01Speaker 1: that is it for today. I hope I've inspired you,
- 20:05Speaker 1: not motivated, you inspired your motivation. It doesn't work, Corey,
- 20:08Speaker 1: it doesn't work. That is it for this week. Thank
- 20:11Speaker 1: you so much for listening to The Naughty but Nice
- 20:13Speaker 1: with Robin Corey Show, a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget
