- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Ooh, today we are talking about what is necessary.
- 0:34So it's an interesting question, right?
- 0:37There are plenty of things that you want to do.
- 0:38There are plenty of things that always seemed urgent.
- 0:40I mean, I think we're all surrounded by urgent urgent
- 0:43things. At least I'm are quoting this as
- 0:45I say it because we tend to make them urgent.
- 0:48But are they really urgent? I don't know.
- 0:51But think about what is necessary.
- 0:53Are things really necessary? Is the drama really necessary is
- 0:57the anxiety? Really necessary is the rushing
- 1:00really? Necessary.
- 1:01Is it something that you have ever contemplated before?
- 1:05What is really necessary. You don't.
- 1:08Sleep is necessary. Water is necessary.
- 1:12Having shelter is necessary food shopping necessary, things like
- 1:17that are what is necessary in our world but our reactions are
- 1:22responses things that are going on around us what things are
- 1:26really necessary and what things are not necessary.
- 1:30It's an interesting place to take yourself and become curious
- 1:33about because we're mostly surrounded by making everything
- 1:37urgent. And as soon as you make your
- 1:40everything urgent, Your scope becomes muddled and you can't
- 1:45even see out of anymore. It's like looking through
- 1:47glasses with Vaseline on it. You can't tell everything's
- 1:50blurry because everything Sergeant.
- 1:53So you know, the things that we decide we're going to deem
- 1:59necessary. Have to be taken under
- 2:03consideration. And say yes, this is necessary.
- 2:07And the things that I focus on that are necessary, I'm going to
- 2:12do them in a way that makes me feel fulfilled doing them.
- 2:15Instead of making them just be like I got to get this off.
- 2:18My to-do list and doing them with a mind of intention and
- 2:23being very pragmatic. But thoughtful is an ideal way
- 2:28to do those necessary items. When you Deem something.
- 2:33As, you know, a necessary item. Oftentimes, we will label it
- 2:39like, oh God, it's a pain in the butt or it's a nuisance or it's
- 2:45not something I love to do. So the question is removing
- 2:49things from being urgent, removing things from getting to
- 2:52that place of being you know hyper like just making my
- 2:59anxiety, go through the roof and getting down to To okay, once I
- 3:03get past that phase, okay? Do I even need to do this, is
- 3:07this something that is going to move me further from my goals or
- 3:12closer to my goals and I use the word goals, but it can be
- 3:15outcomes, it can be intentions, it can be whatever word you
- 3:17want, but are things moving, you closer to it or further away
- 3:21from it and that helps, you understand, you know, and and
- 3:26keeping that pace of necessary versus urgent.
- 3:32Also helps keep you in a place of on a peaceful track as
- 3:36opposed to a reactive track. I think a lot of times when we
- 3:39get urgent, we get so reactive because we have to hurry, hurry,
- 3:42hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, doesn't help us at all.
- 3:47Never has never will. So, what's so important?
- 3:50Is to remember that in the big scope of things in the being
- 3:55like, okay, we're going to go down this road of looking at our
- 3:58life and really focusing. Our Tension on being happier,
- 4:05when you can contemplate, the necessary items, in a true way
- 4:11of being very honest with yourself, as opposed to
- 4:16reactive, you're going to notice a total different outcome and
- 4:22when you look at the necessary items and you accept them, as
- 4:25this is just part of being a human being, like, I was trying
- 4:27to explain to my son, you know, there are certain things about
- 4:30being a human. And being a valuable part of the
- 4:34human race that you just have to take on like self-care like
- 4:37brushing your teeth, taking a shower being like, you know,
- 4:41doing your studying, being somebody who's trying to better
- 4:44themselves. These are all healthy parts of
- 4:46things and they are necessary items.
- 4:48So if they're necessary, do them in a way that makes you proud of
- 4:52doing them. Allow yourself, that Joy of
- 4:55taking it on that way, as opposed to taking it on, in a
- 4:57way that makes you feel like gosh, here we go again.
- 5:01So this Is necessary. It was some people get so sick
- 5:04of going food shopping and I think to myself I think it's
- 5:07kind of a fun thing to do because you're headed out,
- 5:10you're going into the store and you can make it fun because
- 5:14you're looking for different things.
- 5:15You're looking at different people, you're smiling, you're
- 5:18saying hello. There are plenty of ways to make
- 5:21it a fun thing to do. Not to mention the fact that we
- 5:24live in a country where there is a lot of options for this and to
- 5:29me that just makes me smile. Because we don't struggle to
- 5:33find food in that way. So just ask yourself, do I want
- 5:38to live in a world where everything is urgent?
- 5:42Probably not. And the things that are
- 5:44necessary. Do I want to do them while I'm
- 5:46unhappy or what? I like to try to make them happy
- 5:49places for me to go because they are necessary and they are part
- 5:52of Being Human. All right?
- 5:54My friends. I hope you have a great day.
- 5:56A blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 5:58Bye.
