- Rachel K: ⁓ it's day 99 and we're feeling fine on the Travel Agency to Hear podcast. I'm your host, Rachel K. That's a fun little intro. ⁓ you don't know who I am, but you might. And if you do head over to, or if you don't, if you do, you do, you do, use this math. But if you don't head over to ElevateWithRachelK.com. You see how I can help your travel business. ⁓ today is. Reach out to your past client just to know if I have, I'll come up with a better title later. You need to be reaching out to your past client. Referral, referral, referrals, repeat business, have the highest return compared to constantly having to acquire new business. Now, I know there's the standard automated touch points. that you should be doing by now. If you're brand new, do it. And here's the automated touch point. Happy birthday from XYZ Travel. They hope to see you on the beach this summer. And then this ba-da-da-da-da whatever the heck you want to put your birthday in on. Happy anniversary from XYZ Travel. The anniversary email. Thinking about a romantic getaway? Head on down to Sandals. Put that in your, you know, alligators. Merry Christmas, Happy Easter, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy New Year, Thinking of you, we appreciate you, Happy Zalentine's Day, Happy Mother's Day, Happy Father's Day, all those emails you can do every single holiday. Free to main free, cost a buck oh five, and a trip to Jamaica. Gook now. And then your new flutter. Those are all like automated tuck points that you should be having, like don't do every holiday, like every holiday is always too much. Maybe he said, don't know, who whatever holiday is, I don't care. But I feel like you're like, well it's Frister Butch Wombus. now they're gonna be like, was a nut job. Happy National Sushi Day! Book your trip to Japan! ⁓ man, that'd an interesting marketing campaign if you took all those silly... It's National Donut Day and just sent an email out of every day to your email list and you're like... National Sushi Day! Book your trip to Japan! Five bucks off! But it's silly... National Baguette Day! Let's go spend the... Weak and gay parry. Anyway, those are the automated touch points. That's not just what I'm saying here, staying in touch with your clients. Like, actually build relationships, been. You can also do personal check-in. This can be a text or an email, whatever you and your client are comfortable with. Some clients are like, they need to warm up to texting. Some of them are like, I just only want to text. Everybody's different. I'll need voice now. What if... Destination updates if they put on a like on my lead capture form for like groups or whatever. My new registering for a group says future destination interest and they can list wherever else they want to go. I can check that profile and does, oh, you want to go to Croatia? Just so you know, it's the place to be. And here's some information. Down the road, Sena Menino. Any deal for their preferred type of travel, so if they prefer all-inclusive or ⁓ cruises like ocean cruises or river cruises or private yacht experiences, whatever, tours, whatever the heck they prefer, you can send them specific deals like, hey, I saw this was sinking of you. You want to set up a call to talk about this more. It's a great opportunity. This one if you guys are like follow each other on social You're probably gonna run into life changes like I love it when my wedding couples have a baby and I'm like all right you getting diapers and baby one for Ray Kalu Kalae, baby you did it If they get a new house taking you career, I'd actually genuinely be excited for them some to do the sauce. I'm done Why do you want to do this? So automate an email, like the National Tuesday Day email, the most important holiday. Those help you to stay top of mind when they're like, ⁓ I want to book travel or someone says, hey, do know good travel? A event for my honeymoon. You know what I mean? then they're going to be like, oh yeah, well, this crazy person sends me an email every day. They're a travel agent. I'm not a fan of you knowing the girls, It has to be those of you, those of Warren, these mad men camping, I think. Not just your legal one, you know. Um... Sorry to touch personalies. Excuse me. Maintains and extends and grows the relationship. Now you have two options of your business. You can be a wham bam, thank you ma'am, or you can be like, build that relationship. I don't know why I made like that. You can create lifelong relationships. Wham bam, thank you ma'am is great business model. If you just want to make a lot of money and you're really, really good at marketing and a lot of the stuff's already automated is flash. You don't want to do anything furthest wise. It does. not help the stigma of travel advisors and people are like, what's the perks of working with a travel advisor and a lot of forums not on Facebook typically. They'll be like, oh, there literally is no difference. They're a waste of time and they just take money in because there are a lot of wham bam thinking and agents out there. Um, I'm a fan of creating the lifelong relationships because again, Yesterday's episode they can help you with feedback to broader innovates Your business which is fabuloso They're more likely to give you referrals which again hire ROI for repeat business and referrals versus Constable taking spending time marking for new agent or new agent new clients And You can if you have a strong relationship with your flying hand bitches You can identify emerging travel trends among your flying days instead of waiting for someone else to tell you what an emerging travel trend is. So if even like travel articles, know? ⁓ But like types of travel. Uh, as an example, my niece of completely Kay and she was completely standing like here. However, I did notice a lot of my wedding couples were already pretty well scabble. And I knew for their honeymoon, they were going to want to be something other than the resort. Most likely for their honeymoon, they will, they were going to want to go somewhere. That's the 12 months later. Stave up and slurge on a crazy crits. Too less over toward part the will, right? And I could have capitalized on that, but I was like, nah, like wedding. So I would occasionally book their honeymoon for them. ⁓ but I would never take a sense. They were like, well, we want to hang in a tz. Okay. Well, can send you recommendations, but that was also part of my teeth. Like I knew that was coming. So I'm like, hire planning packages, whether they booked with me or not. did like, ⁓ well. You know, this is kind of where I'd recommend you go. You can look into it. You do whatever you want. I can book it for you and book it on your own. Most of them are like, we'll book it with our points. And they're like, all right. But that's why. in my higher planning packages, I would offer that service as they asked. ⁓ but you don't have to worry if you have lifelong fly-ins that repeat business and refer you over and over and over again. You really don't have to worry about travel friends. is the trends are what your clients want, not what, ⁓ why this course about some destination to toes we're telling you is trending. And when you get the promo. But then you're like, well, I better get that so I know what's new on trend. Once you start establishing your fine base, they're the one to dictate Lorshva. Like you can influence them a little bit. But you won't be able to do it until you really get snow. You know what mean? The whole thing you're doing. Alright, that's day 99. What upon a point these episodes are crazy. Hmm. I'm gonna do day 100, I'm gonna keep going. I'm gonna get there 100 and little of the night with the hoodie. Am I crazy here? For you, for you, so was no. Another Sunday long episode. Ice. If you haven't subscribed by day 100, I don't know what to tell you. Alright, have a good day.
