- 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,000 It's still real to me, damn it! 2 00:00:02,000 --> 00:00:10,000 [music] 3 00:00:10,000 --> 00:00:12,000 [music] 4 00:00:12,000 --> 00:00:16,000 Welcome everybody! 5 00:00:16,000 --> 00:00:24,000 Welcome to this week's "The Sto Real" show, episode of our 799 for June 5, 2025. 6 00:00:24,000 --> 00:00:32,000 This is your WWE Money in the Bank, preview and predictions edition of "SRT View." 7 00:00:32,000 --> 00:00:40,000 I am one after the show, I am Jeff Peck, joined every single week, because we're going to be Dr. Drake Franklin, Dr. Trey. 8 00:00:40,000 --> 00:00:44,000 We want truth, my friend. 9 00:00:44,000 --> 00:00:52,000 We do, absolutely want it, and it's not quite as sad as when we when a wrestler passes, 10 00:00:52,000 --> 00:01:00,000 but this might be the saddest release I think we have ever covered in "SRT View" history. 11 00:01:00,000 --> 00:01:06,000 Bray Wyatt, when Bray got released, was kind of shocking inside because of potential. 12 00:01:06,000 --> 00:01:14,000 But this is like, literally watching your grandma from her knitting club. 13 00:01:14,000 --> 00:01:16,000 Yeah, it's like, why are we doing this? 14 00:01:16,000 --> 00:01:24,000 Like, is it really something that's necessary, especially after the way the person has been featured over the last couple of weeks on WWE programming? 15 00:01:24,000 --> 00:01:30,000 So, lots of discuss here, we will be previewing predicting WWE Money in the Bank towards the end of the show. 16 00:01:30,000 --> 00:01:40,000 So stay tuned for that, there's some things that are going on, professional wrestling, a familiar face landed at NXT, Tony Khan has changed his tune, 17 00:01:40,000 --> 00:01:52,000 and more, but let's get into it, Dr. Trey. So it was revealed over the weekend via XRTruth, sent on a tweet that his contract would not be removed by WWE, and he would be leaving the company. 18 00:01:52,000 --> 00:02:06,000 Carlito and Valhalla/Serologon also had similar posts over the weekend, but the big name, and no disrespect to Carlito and Valhalla, was RTruth not being renewed. 19 00:02:06,000 --> 00:02:14,000 That was shocking news, especially coming off of a Saturday night's main event where he was featured against John Cena, the current WWE Champion. 20 00:02:14,000 --> 00:02:25,000 And it was immediately met with frustration, sadness, anger from fans and wrestlers alike. 21 00:02:25,000 --> 00:02:35,000 I have never seen, you mentioned at the top there, never a more shocking release that we've covered here. I would agree with you, Bray Wyatt's release was very shocking. 22 00:02:35,000 --> 00:02:46,000 At the time, I would also say Braun Strowman's release was very shocking. I think they were released like a week or ten days after being featured in a made event match with a championship on the line, and one of them was champion. 23 00:02:46,000 --> 00:02:58,000 I think it was similar along the line to my timeline, maybe off a little bit, but the RTruth one caught me off guard because he has been with the company since 2008, one of, if not the longest performer in the company right now. 24 00:02:58,000 --> 00:03:08,000 I think probably the only one that rivals this would be in Italia. And I think she would have a similar reaction from the fan base and wrestlers alike as well if they did a similar thing to her. 25 00:03:08,000 --> 00:03:19,000 He was for longtime fans, reminded me of how long Billy Gunn and hardcore Holly were on the roster, Mark Henry were on the roster, Big Show. 26 00:03:19,000 --> 00:03:28,000 RTruth was in that vein. It was sometimes they are featured pretty heavily on television, sometimes they're not, sometimes they're in the middle. 27 00:03:28,000 --> 00:03:42,000 But when you see him, it's like happiness and always enjoyed an RTruth segment. Always found him incredibly entertaining and given his age. He is someone that could still move in the ring really, really well. 28 00:03:42,000 --> 00:03:55,000 The outpouring of support from the fans, not shocking. The outpouring of support from the wrestlers, that was pretty shocking because I got to say they were very vocal about his importance on the locker room in Roller's Entertainment. 29 00:03:55,000 --> 00:04:08,000 And the amount of people that love and adore him is immense. We heard chants on Monday nights, raw throughout the entire broadcast of We Want Truth and then the WhatsApp chants that carried over for brief periods of time on NXT. 30 00:04:08,000 --> 00:04:21,000 Not as frequently chanted on NXT as they were on Raw. I would expect the same from SmackDown. And the minute this release happened, I immediately thought of what the reaction was going to be from the fans. 31 00:04:21,000 --> 00:04:32,000 And if this was going to be a release that WWE may be turning into a storyline at some point and bringing him back in short order, I don't think they should be releasing him. I think he should be back, Dr. Trey. 32 00:04:32,000 --> 00:04:38,000 You're overall thoughts and what is the next frontier for Ron Truth Killings? 33 00:04:38,000 --> 00:04:55,000 Yeah, honestly, at first I thought it was a work. I thought it was him kind of punching people and thinking that June 1st was April 1st. I thought it was going to be like an April Fool's joke. And then it was like, I think within eight minutes of him putting out there, I saw a road dog chime in. 34 00:04:55,000 --> 00:05:07,000 And I was like, oh crap, like this is legit. And it was shocking. It's one of the things on two folds. It was shocking for the reason he said, he was just featured in a nice made event in an angle with John Cena. 35 00:05:07,000 --> 00:05:19,000 He was on SmackDown the week before in an angle with the bloodline that's, you know, a simmering angle with the Jimmy Usso solo, JC Mateo, Jacob Fattu, all that stuff. 36 00:05:19,000 --> 00:05:31,000 And it just, it didn't make sense because if you had told me three years ago, they were releasing Truth when he was out injured and it was on the heels of the 24/7 run. 37 00:05:31,000 --> 00:05:44,000 I would have been like, yeah, that sucks, but it makes sense because the contributions that he's provided to the storyline at that point wasn't that great. But he's a great influence. 38 00:05:44,000 --> 00:05:53,000 But the fact that he's been featured so much in the last, not just the last two months, but the last year. He's been on television every week for the last year. 39 00:05:53,000 --> 00:06:05,000 Like, does it make sense? You and I are both in business and we've had jobs where we have to look at like labor cost or net cause versus how much is somebody made versus how much they're generating for you. 40 00:06:05,000 --> 00:06:14,000 You know, the, the Ron Cena shirt is the, was the number one selling shirt when he got released. It's the number one piece of merch on the market today. 41 00:06:14,000 --> 00:06:20,000 Like you're featuring this guy in a lot of different stuff. At this point right now, he's actually a solid return on investments. 42 00:06:20,000 --> 00:06:33,000 So it doesn't make sense. And even in the business standpoint, and then the morale like obviously you've seen now like what is done to the morale in the company like everybody's upset. 43 00:06:33,000 --> 00:06:43,000 Jeff, I don't remember a time when somebody was released or fired that other wrestlers were wearing their shirts on television. 44 00:06:43,000 --> 00:06:50,000 Like we've seen it when people have passed, but not what they've been fired or released and we saw that all throughout Monday night raw. 45 00:06:50,000 --> 00:06:59,000 Like it's just very, very shocking because he's literally like one of the like just best influences in the locker room. 46 00:06:59,000 --> 00:07:02,000 Like you and I mentioned it. Secondly, you and I both worked multiple jobs in the past. 47 00:07:02,000 --> 00:07:10,000 There's always one person in your company that you work with that you just you're always happy to see. 48 00:07:10,000 --> 00:07:16,000 Like they're never in a bad mood. They're always smiling. They always have a joke. They always have something. 49 00:07:16,000 --> 00:07:28,000 There's always that one person that is the morale booster in every office, every company that you deal with in truth has been that guy for WWE for the last 17 years. 50 00:07:28,000 --> 00:07:36,000 So it's really, really shocking to see them go, hey, we're going in a different direction and you're not worth your. 51 00:07:36,000 --> 00:07:43,000 I really think it was they wanted to get paid cut. He didn't want to take a big of a pay because they wanted. He just said, let me do other stuff. 52 00:07:43,000 --> 00:07:55,000 Like he's, you know, in a lot of ways a national treasure wrestling. I think he'll fully land on his feet, but it is just very, very sad and demoralizing for a base when you're coming out of WrestleMania. 53 00:07:55,000 --> 00:08:00,000 And here's this guy who everybody loves to see and you're like, yeah, you're not worth the money. We'll see you later. 54 00:08:00,000 --> 00:08:13,000 Both Dr. Trenai fans of sports and you know, you always hear about the good teams, the championship winning teams have people in the locker room veteran presence who they may not be producing really well. 55 00:08:13,000 --> 00:08:25,000 If it's baseball, maybe they're batting in the mid 200s, couple of homeruns, RBIs here and there, but they're guys that give experience, rejuvenate behind the scenes and keep the locker room together. 56 00:08:25,000 --> 00:08:35,000 It certainly feels like the correlation would be our truth from the WWE standpoint. It's, that's where it's shocking because it's like, I know there's a lot of turnover. 57 00:08:35,000 --> 00:08:43,000 I know there's been a lot of changes to the roster lately, a lot of influx of talent coming into the company, one which we'll be talking about here soon. 58 00:08:43,000 --> 00:08:55,000 And WWE is basically making cuts to their roster, seeing, you know, what the long term value is. Carly Dough and Valhalla are people that they didn't feel like along with our truth. 59 00:08:55,000 --> 00:09:01,000 There was much value anymore and they had plateaued in the company. 60 00:09:01,000 --> 00:09:13,000 I can understand that for Carly Dough and Valhalla with, with all due respect, the way that their characters are being currently shown, our truth on the other hand, I don't see it that way. He's a guy that is beloved by fans. 61 00:09:13,000 --> 00:09:26,000 And when you interject him into random storylines, it gets the point across. On Friday, Smackdown, when he's in a match with JC Mateo, the fans have a emotional connection to him and they're excited to see him. 62 00:09:26,000 --> 00:09:34,000 And they're excited to see him do his work and if you're trying to get someone over as a heal, you go after a guy like our truth. 63 00:09:34,000 --> 00:09:40,000 I think pretty recently in the last two to three years, I think we've seen some of the best stuff from our truth that we could remember in some time. 64 00:09:40,000 --> 00:09:48,000 The awesome truth was funny. Our truth with the judgment day, some of my favorite stuff. The live laugh, love, and Nick and Tom Mysterio. 65 00:09:48,000 --> 00:10:02,000 I mean, that stuff was a cheesy times, absolutely, but did it make you happy and smiling and laugh during Monday Night Raw? Absolutely. And sometimes you need that too. You just don't need five star matches and storylines to prolong. 66 00:10:02,000 --> 00:10:06,000 You need to have some fun because that's all part of the escapism of professional wrestling. 67 00:10:06,000 --> 00:10:23,000 I think, Dr. Trey, that there's like a 50/50 chance based on the reaction from the fans, based on the reaction from the talent because also there's reports out there that there's been talent behind the scenes or talking to management about this decision that our truth could be back with the company. 68 00:10:23,000 --> 00:10:35,000 Ultimately, that's our truth's decision. If WWE goes, "Hey, listen, we're listening to the fans, we've made a mistake, we want to bring it back, we want to extend you." And our truth says, "No, I'm going to go to other ventures and other projects out there." 69 00:10:35,000 --> 00:10:51,000 I'm going to explore this, I'm going to go to this promotion, I'm going to go do these conventions, I'm going to go on this indie tour, I have this music album lined up, comedy tour, rap, or talked about. That's a possibility. 70 00:10:51,000 --> 00:11:00,000 But I think that this is like a 50/50 chance. Completely different, but it's the only time that I could pinpoint when was a release like switched. 71 00:11:00,000 --> 00:11:13,000 The only one I could think of was in 2020 when Drake Maverick was released and they've ran the angle kept putting on NXT television and he legitimately was brought back to the company and I think he still works down in NXT as an agent nowadays. 72 00:11:13,000 --> 00:11:22,000 I think there's a 50/50 chance our truth comes back. I hope he comes back. I don't think there is any need at this point for our truth to be released by WWE. 73 00:11:22,000 --> 00:11:42,000 And when he feels like he doesn't want to wrestle in the ring anymore, you let him go, you give him the ambassador role with like Titus O'Neill. A lot of wrestlers went to the dirt sheets to say that they felt that that was going to be the thing that they were going to be doing with our truth was to put him in an ambassador role, fall on the release of his talent contract. 74 00:11:42,000 --> 00:12:01,000 I think he needs to remain with the company. I think he is a legit WWE Hall of Famer. Is he a first ballot? That's up for another discussion. But this is a guy that I think in 10, 15 years time would make the Hall of Fame. And it's just overall body and scope of work. This isn't a guy that had line wrestle many after wrestle many after wrestle many after wrestle many. This is a guy that just brought smiles to people's faces. 75 00:12:01,000 --> 00:12:14,000 Was a great soldier and even at his age is a great in-ring performer. So that's what I'm putting out right now, Dr. Trey. What do you think the likelihood is of our truth's days in WWE not being numbered? 76 00:12:14,000 --> 00:12:25,000 I fully expect him to come back at some point. Now whether it's that Drake Maverick turn around or how long was Daniel Bryan fired for? Just like three or four months, right? 77 00:12:25,000 --> 00:12:27,000 Yeah, that was about three or four months. 78 00:12:27,000 --> 00:12:35,000 Yeah, so there's that one. That was the other one I thought of was the Justin Roberts incident which got him fired and brought back to the company. 79 00:12:35,000 --> 00:12:49,000 The outpouring of support and what everybody's laying out there kind of does make them make them question it. And I know they've gone back and forth and said whose idea this was or whose final decision was. 80 00:12:49,000 --> 00:12:59,000 But once again, when you look at it, you're like, this is that locker room guy, that morale guy, growing up in the 80s, Kurt Rambus on the Lakers was that guy. 81 00:12:59,000 --> 00:13:26,000 He was not a great player on the team, but he was on that roster for 10-12 seasons before he retired. Like there's a lot of guys who fill that role in truth as a guy. And the other thing is with truth, it just takes a decent storyline for people to jump back in and go, oh no, he's a legitimate threat in this match or he's a legitimate contender in this match because he is the most decorated champion in WWE history when you count all the 24/7 title wins. 82 00:13:26,000 --> 00:13:37,000 I thought the couple guys, I thought bully raise scenario of him showing up in a W thinking it's WWE and calling Tony con, Nikon and all that. That would be a great storyline. 83 00:13:37,000 --> 00:13:45,000 I love the idea of him going to TNA and then with the crossover him walking into NXT like, wait, am I allowed to be here? 84 00:13:45,000 --> 00:13:59,000 You know, in play with that, I think that would be fun, but I'd also love to see him actually go back to TNA and kind of reestablish some credibility and challenge for the TNA championship at some point because that was kind of what he what made him early in his career. 85 00:13:59,000 --> 00:14:11,000 So I'd like to see him actually go out and explore the Ron killings our truth multiverse in a little bit because I think it'd be entertaining for us as fans to follow along. 86 00:14:11,000 --> 00:14:24,000 But when you see this kind of outpouring of love and support, it does as a company making question, did we make the right decision and should we course correct? But then if you course correct, what does that mean for other people? 87 00:14:24,000 --> 00:14:34,000 Because now you have to, if you have a budget you're trying to follow and it is weird that there is his release and then the new signing makes their debut on NXT. 88 00:14:34,000 --> 00:14:52,000 Was that a tit for tat? Did you basically pay for the other person's salary by cutting truth? Like, there's some layers to it, but just when you see somebody with this kind of support, love, man, it's like you have to question your decision and think about is this what's best for our company going forward? 89 00:14:52,000 --> 00:14:59,000 Yeah, I mean, I feel bad for Carly doing Valhalla because they're not getting, we want Carly Jans, we're not getting, we want Valhalla Jans. 90 00:14:59,000 --> 00:15:06,000 Well, we want Valhalla as a weird chance to like, you know, put out there, I mean, but we want, you know, we want Sarah, that's easy, but yeah. 91 00:15:06,000 --> 00:15:16,000 Channing, we want Valhalla that either makes you sound like you're crazy or you just stepped into like a Viking convention in the middle of nowhere. 92 00:15:16,000 --> 00:15:35,000 Which issue would probably be at, honestly. So with our truth release and there's been the stories that have followed is that people are saying this is the most ruthless administration we've ever seen in WWE that they will make cuts to the talent where necessary because of the bottom line, the bottom dollar, 93 00:15:35,000 --> 00:15:42,000 there's more of a corporation than before the one, Vitsack Man was running and it was a publicly owned company and that type of stuff. 94 00:15:42,000 --> 00:15:52,000 Which begs the question, Dr. Trey, stemming off of this and I had positioned it on X over the weekend as well when this was, when this story was released and it was revealed our truth, Carly, 95 00:15:52,000 --> 00:16:06,000 don't Sarah Logan be leaving the company is I wonder with AEW slipping and being not as popular I mean they're basically vying with NXT right now for viewership most weeks NXT is beating them in viewership 96 00:16:06,000 --> 00:16:34,000 but I know there's the argument out there about max right like that we're not counting the max max views because they would be over a million viewership. I just got to say and I know this comes from AEW I know this has come from some of our listeners I think that is absolute bullshit if you think AEW is getting over a million viewers in the United States right now because I say that because pre max they were not they were they were getting very similar numbers to what we see right now. 97 00:16:34,000 --> 00:16:52,000 So it's like I just don't believe that is it maybe a hundred thousand more sure but I don't think we're hitting the millions and I know AEW has come out and said that I know passion AW fans are pointing to that as well and I like AW this is not coming from position of being a WWE Homer I just don't believe that. 98 00:16:52,000 --> 00:17:10,000 So the feeling that I have is AEW has slipped there certainly not as popular as they were before you know back in that 2019 maybe 2022 time frame where they were they were filling out arenas and they're filling out arenas that they're much shorter arenas than we've ever had before. 99 00:17:10,000 --> 00:17:39,000 So being slipped they're slipping not as popular when triple H first took over his head booker and WWE is it possible doctor try that WWE is not being as talent and fan friendly now that they were previously and I and I set that up by saying talent friendly they'll release you whenever they feel like it no job is safe we're seeing that with our truth and the fans perspective on the fan friendly side of things I think you can make a really strong argument that since 2025 started the creative and dubious. 100 00:17:39,000 --> 00:17:59,000 And the creative in WWE has certainly slipped it is taking a step back it is not as good as it was previously do you think that is because of AW slipping and being not as popular that maybe some changes are taking place in WWE where they really don't feel like they have to vie for wrestlers or fans loves like they once did when triple H first took over. 101 00:17:59,000 --> 00:18:27,000 I think it's that severe I think I mean this is kind of their M.O. Like this is what they've done for I mean maybe not as much the last couple of years but you know through the 2010s all the way through 2020s like post WrestleMania they're always cuts they're always business decisions and hey some of our older guys are people that were not using you know is their salary worth what we're paying them when we can bring up people from. 102 00:18:27,000 --> 00:18:37,000 They're like a big team or some other signings and bring them in and they might cost us less and we're getting the same value out of it like there's always been but with the this is. 103 00:18:37,000 --> 00:18:56,000 A different layer in the sense of you know you're cutting arguably one of the most fan favorite performers of the last 20 30 years I so I don't know if it's a you know calculated decision based on competition or it's just a deep dive at the numbers you know like you said the car leaves. 104 00:18:56,000 --> 00:19:05,000 The car lead oh you know not renewing car lead oh is coming in there they they're not being released it's just we're not going to renew your contract at the rate. 105 00:19:05,000 --> 00:19:19,000 That you're currently getting which is basically saying that you've underperformed your contract it's you know similar to you know you you have a guy on the Yankees or the Cubs that you know is on a four year contract in the four years you're like. 106 00:19:19,000 --> 00:19:30,000 Now go test the waters go see if you can find a better deal go get a better deal you have a standing offer here if you can you can find a better deal. 107 00:19:30,000 --> 00:19:48,000 That's one of the you know with all the call ups and all the moves from NXT up to the main roster them trying to go a little bit younger I think that might be more of what you're looking at instead of it's a it's not the competition in the sense of we don't need to be as fan friendly or. 108 00:19:48,000 --> 00:20:08,000 You know whatever it's it's a little bit of hey if that company slumping it allows us a chance to bring up some of our younger talent and it gives them time to develop because they're not thrust into the fire of you know the Monday night wars or what you know or what the AEW W to be matchup was in. 109 00:20:08,000 --> 00:20:30,000 And then we're not in the year in 2021 like we were not depending on any of these young stars to light the world on fire you can actually come up and we can develop you on the main roster and not feel the heat of competition because it's not there right now so I kind of think that's where they're leaning more than anything else I just think this you know was a. 110 00:20:30,000 --> 00:20:45,000 Hey over the last five years of this contract as truth performed up to what we think he was worth and if not hey we're going to offer you a little less money and it's up to you if you want to take her not truth right now is looking at it going on the number one 111 00:20:45,000 --> 00:21:00,000 Merced seller I can probably go to any of these other companies or doing only fans or do a twitch or do anything's and probably make as much money if not more than I would on this contract you're offering I think he's just kind of betting on himself right now as well. 112 00:21:00,000 --> 00:21:12,000 The roster is very deep in WWE there's only so much TV time that the company can give out to every performer to make sure that they're getting their most value both personally professionally and from the company standpoint as well. 113 00:21:12,000 --> 00:21:28,000 So it's it's shark invested waters and it's more it's the deepest roster I could ever remember and I was thinking about this earlier this week watching NXT and they were promoting evolve and evolve is is you know a very small brand and world 114 00:21:28,000 --> 00:21:57,000 just entertainment where a lot of people are starting to cut their teeth from the performance center side of things before elevating elevating them up to NXT I mean look how deep their the roster is right now with evolve people and people that are not even on television right now that are the performance center that are training every day to make it to evolve or NXT and you've got NXT which is very deep right now and they're integrated you know very much so with with TNA I mean a lot TNA performers were scattered throughout the entire main event on and 115 00:21:57,000 --> 00:22:26,000 NXT this past week and you've got Monday night Raw which is always around the 2 1/2 3 hours range and then Smackdown has 3 hours so there's only so much you could do and there's you know the speed stuff and main event I really don't count as developing main roster talent but there's only so much you could do and we talked about it over the last couple weeks where there's been an influx of people returning to the company people that have never been in the company before a lot of AW names have made their way to the company 116 00:22:26,000 --> 00:22:55,000 and one which we'll talk about here momentarily you've got Penta Ray Phoenix Alessor Black and Rusev are back in the company you have had now triple A talent that are being involved there is so many names that are on the roster and taking up precious TV time that WWE is just making cuts and the not my contract expiring and not renewing is is kind of a new thing that we're seeing in professional wrestling a W does it all the time 117 00:22:55,000 --> 00:23:10,000 when they feel like somebody is it going to be that they're going to bring back or is going to be going to the other company like an AMO will just talk about just a second they let them right out their contracts and they just don't renew them and and off they go it's very rare that you see releases happen 118 00:23:10,000 --> 00:23:25,000 so it's tough and when you in entered you know inject other talents as well the Jordan Gracies definitely our course Julie is of the world it is shark infested waters right now for world 119 00:23:25,000 --> 00:23:42,000 world of entertainment which makes things exciting I think eventually WWE gets back on the skid again just based on the talent that they have on the roster I think the competition is going to breed some really good programming for the rest of 2025 in my personal opinion the way things that are lining up 120 00:23:42,000 --> 00:24:10,000 and that's a good thing for wrestling fans it's good for wrestling but this is some of the acts is that come along the way so I just thought it was interesting with a W not being really out in the forefront right now if WWE is not feeling the heat like they did before therefore they don't need to really cater to the talent into the fans too much I do think this is something to keep an eye on as we move forward and see if those parallels and changes take place a little bit more 121 00:24:10,000 --> 00:24:19,000 speaking of the names that have now joined world of entertainment there's been a slew of X w a w talent now in WWE Dr. Trey Penta Ray Phoenix 122 00:24:19,000 --> 00:24:39,000 also black Rusev I just mentioned Ricky Saints Ethan Page and we have a new name in here Dr. Trey four months ago plus five months ago she was the A W women's world champion and now she's an NXT she debuted on Tuesday night I don't think her name will be the former name that she had an A W 123 00:24:39,000 --> 00:25:03,000 but Mariah May is NXT she is WWE Dr. Trey we had talked about this in recent weeks that this was potentially coming and now it is official after her contract expired with A W and she was moved to the alumni page of A W on their website in recent days your thoughts as the glamour has landed in WWE 124 00:25:03,000 --> 00:25:23,000 I'm excited for her like I mean you see what she did that whole rivalry Tony Storm that lasts every year like she's she's built for what W W she's she's great in storyline she's great on promo she's a beautiful woman she's a solid in ring performing not great but solid 125 00:25:23,000 --> 00:25:38,000 she fits what W W wants in their talent and it's it's kind of funny in a way you're watching a lot of these people now these younger talents A W you know brings up and builds and a lot of them are just trying to get to W W 126 00:25:38,000 --> 00:25:51,000 either using AEW as that stepping stone where in the past it was you know in a lot of ways viewed as equal footing that's why you know we saw so many WWE guys make the jump to AEW 127 00:25:51,000 --> 00:26:03,000 she's built for this brand I do think it's kind of funny that you're taking in aid a former AEW women's world champion and you're putting her on the NXT brand we still J jump straight to the main roster 128 00:26:03,000 --> 00:26:16,000 so we this is kind of one of the things where it's like yeah you were a big fish but that was a small pond now you're in a bigger pond let's make sure that you fit what we do in WWE and moving or at NXT which I think is a great move for 129 00:26:16,000 --> 00:26:29,000 because it gives her a little bit time to develop and they can kind of build the women's division around her I think it's a smart move like I'm excited to see what her potential is in WWE because I think the sky's the 130 00:26:29,000 --> 00:26:53,000 limit for because you know for for all the love that Tiffany Stratton gets I actually like Mariah May in a lot of ways better than even Tiffany I think Mariah has already shown that she has more depth and range to her character than we've seen from Tiffany Stratton in three years in the company now so I'm really excited to see what they do with this because she was probably my second favorite person from AEW in the 131 00:26:53,000 --> 00:27:08,000 division that I want to see WWE sign so I'm just waiting for my number one to finally make the move on. Yeah I don't know if I look at this is like a humbling thing I think you're seeing this trend lately some really good talents I mean they did it with Julia they did with Stephanie 132 00:27:08,000 --> 00:27:23,000 Valkor I think they're presently doing it with Jordan Grace they did it with Ricky Sains the belief you know Va'Kor and Julia we now know are on on raw and Smackdown you know Julian Smackdown Va'Kor on raw I think Jordan Grace is going to follow this path at some point as well. 133 00:27:23,000 --> 00:27:36,000 The belief is that Ricky Sains days in NXT are numbered even though they're pushing an entry storyline on television most recently on Tuesday which would make you think well we'll come back to avenge the loss and take out Ethan Page but the rumor 134 00:27:36,000 --> 00:27:56,000 was that they had written him off NXT television to prepare him for raw Smackdown I think Mariah May is going to fit in that void doctor tray I could see her more like those three then somebody like Ethan Page with all due respect he's been with the company the NXT side of things for the last year actually Ethan Page is like the perfect veteran for NXT. 135 00:27:56,000 --> 00:28:20,000 I think Mariah May could be in the be an NXT for eight to 12 months before then she gets called up going back to the original point on the releases and stuff like that I mean the roster is so incredibly deep right now that I think if she was called up to Raw and Smackdown as comparable to when Jade was called up to Smackdown there again not enough TV time and there's so many fish in that sea that are so talented. 136 00:28:20,000 --> 00:28:41,000 I think it would be very difficult for Mariah to get going so I like that she's in NXT right now develop the only thing I don't like with the Mariah May stuff early on here in NXT is I'm getting the vibe that she is coming into this as a baby face I think she is a hell of a lot better as a heal. 137 00:28:41,000 --> 00:29:10,000 The baby face side of things like NAW was like the dumb blonde all that stuff the heal side NAW was this vicious Vixen and I like that a lot more so I disagree with you slightly here that I think that maybe it's like humbling type thing I think it's more of roster construction and the other part here is is I hope that we see the heal persona but but I'm hyped and more importantly like I don't like the Ricky Saints name I wish he was like I'm not going to be a lot better than I was. 138 00:29:10,000 --> 00:29:34,000 I wish he was Ricky starts no idea why they went that direction especially with Ethan page Penta Ray Phoenix all the other folks that are coming from NXT or AW that had established names even prior to that like why are we changing his name I I hope the Mariah May name sticks rest of votes to saying that it won't they did not call her Mariah May they refer to as the glamor or glamorist. 139 00:29:34,000 --> 00:30:03,000 I don't understand that but that's that's where I am ultimately very excited for Mariah May and excited what she is able to do in NXT and WWE more importantly she seems excited because this is a lifelong dream for us so very very cool that she's land in WWE and kind of shocking because she was so predominantly featuring NAW Dr. Trey and I often wonder like is this the right career move it's very similar to Jade I think it is I think she's going to be given more opportunities. 140 00:30:03,000 --> 00:30:06,000 But yeah they love to an AW as well. 141 00:30:06,000 --> 00:30:32,000 Yeah by the way I don't want you guys to think of that I actually meant her coming in the NXT was kind of in a humbling sense I think they kind of are learning from Jade that hey some of these people we bring over me W still need some training some teaching and I think they could do things differently and go back inside they probably would have sent Jade to NXT for a little while and then brought her up so it's not like any sense of like hey I know you're a big fish and smell upon but. 142 00:30:32,000 --> 00:30:53,000 There is a system of how we do things and we want to make sure you know the system before you move up to the next level I think I think Jade may have been a cautionary tale for when they bring people over from AW who are maybe a little on the younger side or little on still on the the learning curve so to speak but. 143 00:30:53,000 --> 00:31:22,000 Yeah I'm interested where they go with the name I mean they didn't mute the crowd chance they let the crowd champ Mariah and didn't mute it out they could have gone in and editing and tweaked that a little bit or piped in an extra noise to drown out so I think she may keep the name Mariah she may just have go the Julia route and just have one name and just be Mariah you know that I I saw people going they are they going to call Mariah Mariah to Mariah December or whatever and I'm like no. 144 00:31:22,000 --> 00:31:51,000 Yeah that's that's a very TNA thing by the way you know to go back and or tweak those names or do the the task effect into Mariah May but put an E at the end of May yeah like Drake may from the Patriots you can go that route at the you know but yeah it's it's I'm I think they I mean you saw with Julia Julia came in as a baby face but when she got hurt and then came back she went in you know kind of in a heel mode and they might be doing that with Mariah May. 145 00:31:51,000 --> 00:32:11,000 Like if you look at fatal attraction like she would actually fit in with fatal attraction as a heel so there is that possibility that they're bringing her in as a baby face just to try it out see what they can do and then flipper because they know she can work heal we saw that for nine months she's a fantastic heal. 146 00:32:11,000 --> 00:32:40,000 Can we develop as a baby face and see if they do that we're doing with trick Williams right now they love to take somebody who's already kind of stylish and shown they can work one side and try to develop the other side of them because that gives their character a death and be versatility that we know like hey they're pretty good at both sides of the coin so we might just be seeing how that plays out but I I like I said earlier I think she's a fantastic performer in what W. W. does I think that I think that I'm going to be a little bit more. 147 00:32:40,000 --> 00:33:09,000 And I think she makes it makes a lot of sense for how you want to build a star like she's got the in range spirit she's got some seasoning on a I guess you can look at it say a smaller scale than WWE and she's much more of the entertainer type professional wrestler than you know even a Julia or Stephanie Valkour where they were known for more of their in ring prowess than anything they did outside of that so I think it's the perfect signing in Ricky Saints is that guy as well like Ricky Saints. 148 00:33:09,000 --> 00:33:38,000 For being a solid wrestler was known was known more for his charisma and personality than anything else let's see this make sure we can develop the other stuff around it but we know he has the it factor as a performer as an entertainer we just have to work on this stuff so I think these are some smart signings for WWE not to mention they're on the well Ricky Saints is not on the younger side I think they I think I read these thirty five but Mariah May still in her 20s like this is somebody that you can have on the roster for 10 15 years. 149 00:33:38,000 --> 00:33:44,000 And do a multitude of things in the so it's a very very wise signing on their part. 150 00:33:44,000 --> 00:33:57,000 We mentioned earlier some changes with the way that WWE is viewing things potentially with a W slipping not being as popular as they once were back in the launch of a W in the first couple of years it appears that there may be a similar sense 151 00:33:57,000 --> 00:34:10,000 that's a similar sense doctor from the AW side of things because there was a tweet out there recently where Tony con responded and it's sort of a little start up some tribal is somebody had tweeted out of fan did. 152 00:34:10,000 --> 00:34:22,000 Should we gate kit gate keep this promotion or let them in was in reference to WWE fans were showing interest in a W and asking how to watch Tony con saw this tweet this was not directed to Tony con. 153 00:34:22,000 --> 00:34:32,000 And he responded saying in his tweet please gate keep nothing sir please welcome these people to a W with arms wide open. 154 00:34:32,000 --> 00:34:51,000 Some business model changes here from a guy who has taken his fair shots openly at WWE we would often say that it was not a good luck that Tony con was was very outwardly open for his disdain and distrust with WWE and if the things that he said that led to that are true then totally understandable but from a fan say. 155 00:34:51,000 --> 00:35:01,000 But from a fan standpoint I hated here in that and I definitely think that turned out a lot of people off do you think that this. 156 00:35:01,000 --> 00:35:07,000 Tweet from Tony con doctor tray is progress or desperation. 157 00:35:07,000 --> 00:35:30,000 I'm hoping for progress I mean we have taken a lot Tony constant a lot of hits from guys like us over the last few years for the way he's handled the competition between himself and WWE like the little pot shots the little twigs I mean they literally at one point didn't he call WWE the Harvey Weinstein a professional wrestling. 158 00:35:30,000 --> 00:35:59,000 Yeah that's the one I always reference like that's really bad comment yeah like so I'm hoping that you know five years in six years almost six years in now that he's kind of learning from these mistakes and you know a lot of WWE's business model changes themselves are because of what a W has done the past the cross promotional working and stuff like that that's all because of what AEW is done with like New Japan and triple a in the past and CML and all these. 159 00:35:59,000 --> 00:36:28,000 Crossovers that's why WWE's kind of embrace that as well so it is a sense of you know you're hoping for progress and going okay well if they're at least not openly WWE doesn't openly take shots at AEW there might be some Easter egg kind of shots or some behind the scenes kind of stuff they do but it's never out ordly like you don't hear them like literally poking AEW where I think maybe 20 times looking going look if I if I can. 160 00:36:28,000 --> 00:36:55,000 I can do this part and act like we're much more open to progress and change and maybe do my little Easter eggs shots or my little behind the scenes stuff that might be a better model to follow follow that's kind of you and I are hoping for we kind of want them to on the surface be cordial competitive yet cordial but whatever we see out of sight is kind of okay with us to a degree. 161 00:36:55,000 --> 00:37:24,000 100% I mean that's what we want is I I like competition but I want the competition to be you know what who had a better wrestling week I don't want the competition to be what AEW said or what WWE did behind the scenes to do battle with them I I think nowadays most people really don't give a crap about that type of stuff and they just want to see both companies thrive because as wrestling fans that's what we benefit most from is thriving wrestling companies and 162 00:37:24,000 --> 00:37:53,000 they are able to make each other better whether they work in conjunction like NXT and TNA's partnership or they work against one other like WWE and AEW's lack of partnerships so I think it's a little both I think it's progress I do think it's desperation I think that Tony Khan has probably been humbled a little bit to see the viewership drop by like 250,000 even though maybe those 250,000 of the landed on max according to some people or HBO max is not 163 00:37:53,000 --> 00:38:21,000 max anymore they weren't back to the only but yeah I mean they need to kind of change their ways because I know I've talked about on the show in recent weeks that I was extremely behind on AEW television like three weeks behind I am nearly caught up I'm on the last episode of collision that air this past Saturday night after my beloved Nick's dropped out to the Indian apasers in the Eastern conference finals but I digress 164 00:38:21,000 --> 00:38:46,000 and I've enjoyed what I've watched it's very solid it's good in-ring stuff still my appetite is a little bit more entertainment a little bit more storylines that bring things together and I just don't like to see thrown together matches but overall I think they're doing a really good job and there's definitely been strong improvements in recent weeks and months with their programming 165 00:38:46,000 --> 00:39:15,000 so yeah I think it's kind of in the middle I hate to walk a little bit but if I if I'm not going to walk down the middle too much here I'm going to lean more towards desperation rather than progress because the AW they need the fans to help them survive and thrive and if there's an opportunity for WWE fans being like hey I've heard AW's doing pretty well how do I watch I want to check it out they should be welcome with open arms there the tribalism stuff is so stupid really is I mean if I had more time in my life I would have been able to do it 166 00:39:15,000 --> 00:39:44,000 if I had more time in my schedule I would love to watch evolve I would love to watch TNA right now because I'm really enjoying when I'm seeing when I watch NXT each week but I don't I just I do not right now I mean I'm going to kid really changes your availability for time so I hate to play my child but that's certainly one of the things and I don't like that but it would be like 10 hours of wrestling a week so yeah hopefully more desperate I think it's more desperation than progress but it's nice to see Tony Khan try to do it 167 00:39:44,000 --> 00:40:01,000 Tony Khan trying to extend the all branch to get some more eyes on his product with that said let's wrap up this week's edition the podcast Dr. Trey by preview and predicting WWE money in the bank that would be taking place this Saturday for the Into It dome in Ingo Wood California 168 00:40:01,000 --> 00:40:18,000 the first match here is Lyra Valcurri defending the WWE women's championship against Becky Lynch in a last chance match if Lynch loses she can no longer challenge for the titles long as Valcurri is champion if Alcaria loses she'll be forced to raise Lynch's hand acknowledged Lynch as the better woman 169 00:40:18,000 --> 00:40:34,000 let me preface this by saying that this entire show right now to me screams character development and where they carry the company going forward because what makes the most sense for a character the most sense makes that is made here for WWE is Becky Lynch to win that is my pick 170 00:40:34,000 --> 00:40:43,000 and to have the insulting moment post match for Valcurri has to raise her hand and acknowledge that Lynch is a better woman because then that feeds the Becky Lynch character heading into the summer months 171 00:40:43,000 --> 00:40:49,000 so I am taking Becky Lynch to win the WWE women's in a common little championship Dr. Trey 172 00:40:49,000 --> 00:41:04,000 man this one's been really like I don't know about you this has been one of the harder shows for me to kind of predict just on the surface level because I see so many moving parts because your your analysis makes a sense but they're also still in the background of this is what do you do with Bailey 173 00:41:04,000 --> 00:41:15,000 and it was Becky Lynch that took out Bailey so I can see Bailey costing Becky the match to lead into a Becky Bailey feud for the summer months and still allow Lyra to carry the innerconnale title 174 00:41:15,000 --> 00:41:23,000 I will say I'm with you I'm taking Becky Lynch and a lot of us also because we've already seen the US title change hands on the other show 175 00:41:23,000 --> 00:41:33,000 so you don't need a long run on the I see title and Becky does kind of help the prestige of the women's innerconnale title so I'm with you I'm going to take Becky Lynch also 176 00:41:33,000 --> 00:41:45,000 yeah the the way to make these predictions for me is like as I'm looking throughout the entire show and I'm like what makes the most sense so even when we get to our next match here which is going to tip my hand a little bit for money in the bank 177 00:41:45,000 --> 00:41:54,000 you can't have a shell that is completely dominated by heels so Cody Rhodes versus J.U. so and J.U. so versus John Cena and Logan Paul 178 00:41:54,000 --> 00:42:03,000 I'm going to take Cody Rhodes and J.U. so in this one because I think Cody needs a little come up it's here after falling to John Cena WrestleMania's first match back 179 00:42:03,000 --> 00:42:12,000 and I think J.U. so needs a momentum heading into that championship match this coming Monday against Gunther in Arizona so I'm going to be taking Cody Rhodes and J.U. 180 00:42:12,000 --> 00:42:16,000 so so the baby faces get some sort of victory here during money in the bank 181 00:42:16,000 --> 00:42:22,000 yeah I'm actually I'm with you because this way you know also you can protect John Cena if you have Logan Paul take the loss 182 00:42:22,000 --> 00:42:32,000 especially for going to tip maybe when we do night of champions or what what do we say that the the the Saudi Arabia event was called this year 183 00:42:32,000 --> 00:42:40,000 it's not a champion to have the end of the championship so we're going to have you know potentially you know J.U. so and John Cena facing off 184 00:42:40,000 --> 00:42:47,000 this way you can you know you can protect John Cena by not taking the pinfall Cody gets his come up and J.U. so momentum 185 00:42:47,000 --> 00:42:55,000 and Logan you can kind of disappear again for a couple of months because that's he's you know a three quarter of the time performer so I'm taking Cody and J.U. 186 00:42:55,000 --> 00:43:02,000 well for a lot of reasons you stated next match here is the money in the bank ladder match for a women's championship match contract 187 00:43:02,000 --> 00:43:09,000 you have Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Real Ripley, Julia Naomi and Stephanie Vaakor this this I hope this match main events honestly I don't think it will 188 00:43:09,000 --> 00:43:20,000 I think it'll probably open the show but to me the names in this are really intriguing and fun and I'm excited for a lot of different errors are spread across here in this match 189 00:43:20,000 --> 00:43:38,000 present era previous era and people that were dominating the women's division 10 plus years ago with that said I mean I really want to pick real Ripley in this one because I think Rhee is going to get back in the title picture sooner rather than later with Perth Australia coming up as a PLI I think in October for Crown Jewel 190 00:43:38,000 --> 00:44:02,000 and I would imagine she enters as a champion or has a championship match but again I'm thinking about character development here Dr. Tren I'm thinking okay which person in this match would benefit the most from having the money bank briefcase and for me it's Naomi I think Naomi with the briefcase is the most intriguing and most fun and most entertaining for me as a fan because she's working on this weird stalkerish character 191 00:44:02,000 --> 00:44:14,000 and what's the easiest way to have be that continue that stalker type persona is by holding the briefcase and lurking in the shadows so I'm going to go with Naomi to win this match Dr. Tren 192 00:44:14,000 --> 00:44:31,000 Interesting like it's weird I don't know if you look at this if you looked at the both money the bank matches this way but it's kind of like it's weird like five of the people in each match are kind of on the same level and then you have one kind of lurking superstar that might be on the next level up like in this match 193 00:44:31,000 --> 00:44:45,000 and this match you look at on paper you're like yeah this is Ria like Ria's are established well above I mean maybe Alexa but Ria's established well above everybody else right now and in the men's eyes it sets kind of above everybody else 194 00:44:45,000 --> 00:44:59,000 that being said like I love your analysis it makes a lot of sense on character development I'm going to take Julia to get the win I think she kind of needs it a little more than everybody else I think everybody else is a great talker or their baby faces 195 00:44:59,000 --> 00:45:16,000 money the bank to me is always being kind of a heel winning thing and Julia is kind of a heel on some action so I'm going to take Julia getting the win and then that way she can work over the shoulder of Tiffany Stratton for a few months as well and help build Julie up into that net sales 196 00:45:16,000 --> 00:45:39,000 I think the end of her run in NXT in that debut that little many few she had with you know when she was with Roxanne against EO and Ria didn't really do a whole lot for I think this is a really good way to kind of build her up as that upper level mid card lower main event type character really quickly so I Julie is my pick for this. 197 00:45:39,000 --> 00:46:08,000 And finally the money the bank ladder match for a men's championship match contract you've got Solicico LA night pantaseth wrong on draw day and on Grande Americano again the way that I broke this down is who benefits the most from having the briefcase as a character I really think there's only two people in here right now to me that would benefit the most with the money that contract the match LA night and Seth wrongs you can make a case it's time to catapult LA night and you can make a case that go back to character development that this briefcase makes the most sense for Seth wrongs and I'm going to take you to the next one. 198 00:46:08,000 --> 00:46:28,000 And that's where I'm going doctor trained not a lot of build or explanation here but the way things are going on raw Seth Rollins when the money in the bank briefcase makes the most sense to me and I think this could be a cash in that happens sooner rather than later could happen at the PL Leon Saturday. 199 00:46:28,000 --> 00:46:41,000 And then the man opened up the show it depends but I think Seth wrongs will be the world every way champion again which bums me out because that would mean J. U. so would have a very quick rain. 200 00:46:41,000 --> 00:46:53,000 But I think in the long run this is the best thing for business and I think Seth wrongs winning this match will certainly be that so that is my pick for Saturday's men's money the bank ladder match. 201 00:46:53,000 --> 00:47:07,000 And for me it came down to three because I was one of my picks in originally because I'm like you can see him cashing in and going heal and we get more the Eli Drake character we saw from TNA which was super over. 202 00:47:07,000 --> 00:47:19,000 That makes a lot of sense I would really love El Grande Americana to win because then it's like well could then Chad Gable Cache in and say that Grande gave it to him because he doesn't want to be the world champion. 203 00:47:19,000 --> 00:47:48,000 He just wants to be the best lucha door in the world so he gives it to Chad and Chad caches him but Seth is the most obvious pick and this is what I say earlier like he's just on a different level booking wise and character wise and everybody else like he's just presented differently and it makes a ton of sense for him to be the shady underhanded leader of a heal faction to have the money the bank brief because we saw with Damien Priest you know we've seen it before where you're building a faction this guy has a chance to cash in whenever he wants. 204 00:47:48,000 --> 00:48:09,000 And how else do you get guys in a group like this over well if you're using the evolution model it was to have your top star be the champion and have the younger guys surround him to build it up so to me it makes the most sense for Seth to win the match and you're right like if if everything I got according to plan. 205 00:48:09,000 --> 00:48:19,000 Hey this would have been a very very heal heavy pay for you so at least we got code in j win because otherwise it just feels like heels all over the place getting to come up into this pay for you. 206 00:48:19,000 --> 00:48:27,000 So there you go there is our money in the bank preview and predictions about Dr. Tray and I taking Seth wrong to your for the men's money the bank ladder match. 207 00:48:27,000 --> 00:48:38,000 We will recap and review it on next week's edition of SRT you which just so happens to be Dr. Tray are 800th episode next week we will be celebrating 800 episodes. 208 00:48:38,000 --> 00:48:57,000 And typically we we talk about this off air but Dr. Tray spent a lot and I spent a lot of time talking about personal lives before the show starts so we probably should have a production meeting about this but I think next week to trade for the 800th episode not only will we recap and review money the bank. 209 00:48:57,000 --> 00:49:11,000 I think we pay tribute to the man himself some people call him the greatest of all time he is retiring at the end of the year and we look at the john Cena character not only during our time in SRT you but is overall scope and career what are your thoughts about that my friend. 210 00:49:11,000 --> 00:49:25,000 Okay good because I thought we were going to a whole show about the 800 numbers of the 800 numbers and 900 numbers of the early 2000s and late 90s and just have everybody call it like everybody calling me Jean on the hotline. 211 00:49:25,000 --> 00:49:53,000 No that means I mean he is the most polarizing character of the history of SRT you because when the show started I think almost everybody hated john see a lot of ways because you show up as throat then we had the john Cena appreciation timeline when he was in the US title challenge and you know now we're at the end of his run so it makes a lot sense to do kind of like a career retrospective of the goat. 212 00:49:53,000 --> 00:50:12,000 Of professional wrestling so yeah like if that's the direction we want to go I'm fully on board with it so the other 100th episode we'll be looking at the career of john Cena as his time is almost up in professional wrestling for a special 800th edition of SRT and we'll also recap review money the bank. 213 00:50:12,000 --> 00:50:31,000 Dr. Tre you mentioned the 900 numbers I sure I've talked about this at the show on the show at some point in a hundred episodes I racked up a bill wants a micro mother's house calling the W. Me. Jean Ocarly number like well over 70 dollars and gotten a lot of trouble for that she ended up getting it refunded it was like my grandson is an idiot. 214 00:50:31,000 --> 00:50:50,000 But yeah I remember calling that number because Jean Ocarly made mention on nitro one night like that a big former WWE champion was talking about coming over and he's referring to Shawn Michaels obviously that never happened but yeah I dial that number do you remember what that number was could you recite that still because I can. 215 00:50:50,000 --> 00:51:00,000 Was it one nine hundred nine nine ninety nine hundred I was going to say fifty nine hundred I think you're right though I think it's ninety nine hundred I think it's all nine so I think I've told you. 216 00:51:00,000 --> 00:51:26,000 I think I've told the story of the phone on it's funny like this you bring this up I'm actually at my dad's house I ran up a bill of over two hundred dollars doing that same thing and the really the only time my dad ever what my butt with a belt was over this because he was fully expecting this is ninety three ninety four somewhere there like actually probably like ninety two. 217 00:51:26,000 --> 00:51:55,000 He had just come home from a parent teacher conference and they had so great student I was and he was expecting like a forty dollar phone billing it was two hundred dollars because I thought I was out smarting the system because it said a dollar ninety nine for the first minutes I would hang up after thirty seconds well you can charge me a full dollar nine nine if I only listen for thirty seconds because you said for the first minute so I thought I was out smarting the system so I would recall for thirty seconds hang up dial back in and pick up the record. 218 00:51:55,000 --> 00:52:11,000 You know and only miss a couple of seconds of the recording is a plate in a loop the entire time so in my my first reason was there was a story about Brian Pellman and that's why I started calling him and I literally like it's funny. 219 00:52:11,000 --> 00:52:28,000 I'm just sitting here in like my childhood bedroom recounting the story while my dad's making breakfast for Sammy and I'm like no I remember that ass whoop and I got that was pretty severe and I have never after that whoop I never called any of those numbers ever again. 220 00:52:28,000 --> 00:52:40,000 Yeah I I remember you were right it was one hundred nine oh nine ninety nine hundred and that the fact that we could sell remember those numbers this to this day is insane because they don't do it anymore. 221 00:52:40,000 --> 00:52:48,000 Anyway there you go with that said let's get a couple plugs and sponsored out of the way you can download show every Thursday or Friday at realguymedia.com 222 00:52:48,000 --> 00:52:54,000 Russell Chatnet on X and it's still real though show feed on Apple Spotify or wherever you download this podcast please don't forget to rate, 223 00:52:54,000 --> 00:53:01,000 review and subscribe that helps us out greatly on all those podcast platforms so please do that you can follow us individually on X for myself at SRTU. 224 00:53:01,000 --> 00:53:12,000 Jeff and for Dr. Franklin at the doctor tray and of course to offer the file show on X at SRT podcast with that being said what is going on the wonderful world of Dr. Franklin this week. 225 00:53:12,000 --> 00:53:25,000 Well like Jeff said you can follow me on X at the doctor tray you can find me on Facebook and Instagram Dr. Franklin just search it out it's easy to find when you're on Facebook be sure to check out Rockets City Championship Wrestling the 226 00:53:25,000 --> 00:53:40,000 show I work with in state of Alabama big show coming up this Saturday June 7th which I'm hoping I'm back from my trip in time to be a part of but you also check out Spartan Championship Wrestling the other show I work with in Alabama but most importantly just get out there 227 00:53:40,000 --> 00:53:53,000 check out your local independent scenes you might find the next Mariah May or Mariah June or Mariah November or Mariah Rain who knows you might just might find the next person who becomes a huge star down the road 228 00:53:53,000 --> 00:54:12,000 and tell your friends I saw them before they got famous it that's a huge thing I mean we all sold metalheads remember seeing our favorite rock bands when they are in the dive bar in front of like 55 people we talk about going to Manhattan Center and watching a guy named Kevin Steen and Elginarico battle out and ring of honor about 15 years ago now 229 00:54:12,000 --> 00:54:41,000 or seeing a guy named Tyler Black when the R.O.H.
