- 6:05[SPEAKER_20]: This is about ten degrees warmer.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_20]: Ten or eleven degrees warmer than the statistical average for this time of year.

- 6:21[SPEAKER_20]: Anybody bad day to be outwork and imagine if you were doing like black topping today.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, you had an actual job where you have to work for a living.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_20]: Well, you know, you can just say, well, no, it's a, it's too hot, but I can work.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_20]: Some people do that, but the job's still got to get done.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_20]: You know, if you're a fireman in the houses on fire today, you don't get to say, well, it's, you know, it's kind of hot out there.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_20]: They don't close the ER do they because it's too hot.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_20]: So I mean, those jobs that need to be done.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_20]: selling beer is one of them.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_20]: Of course, we have a conditioning at the first three pub and it's a different thing.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_20]: But you know, we're all in them, but we don't, we don't say it's too hot to do a talk show.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_20]: Do we?
- 7:06[SPEAKER_20]: No.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_20]: We just do it.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_20]: We just do it.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_20]: Because we care about you.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_20]: Right.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_20]: Things coming up this week on the Hotline on Wednesday, a latter part of the show towards one o'clock.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_20]: We're going to get a phone call from congressman representative Dan Goldman.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_20]: of New York City, Mr. Goldman is a obviously a congressman, a fierce critic of President Trump.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_20]: And he is, well, my Democratic friends up here say he was up here a couple weeks ago with Tisch James up in Clayton.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, the media missed that one.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_20]: But I didn't.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_20]: And I was told by Democrats that the talk of the event he was at was he's going to be the next truck Schumer.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_20]: A lot of people think Mr. Schumer will not run in twenty-eight.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_20]: There was talk about AOC running.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_20]: I'll tell you, if AOC is the candidate, if she's running for the, you know, nowadays since Cuomo changed all the election laws, you can register just a few weeks before the primary and another party invoked in that.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_20]: Used to be at a weight of year.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_20]: That's over with.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_20]: So I would think about re-registering back on the Democratic Party to vote for AOC, I think, in a primary.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_20]: I think she's going to run for president.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_20]: So I don't know.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_20]: So anyway, Congressman Goldman will be calling in.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_20]: And I, you know, one thing about me.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_20]: Obviously, I don't agree with the guy.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_20]: But I'm not one of these co-bear types who won't talk to somebody because there are a different ilk.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_20]: You know, we'll do the interview.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_20]: Respectful.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_20]: One of the things I want to ask my buddy is the New Yorkers.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_20]: What do you think of the Yankees?
- 8:44[SPEAKER_20]: How about those Yankees?
- 8:46[SPEAKER_20]: They lost seven to one to Texas Chester.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_20]: When are they going to fire air in boon?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_20]: That's one of the questions I want to ask the congressman.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_20]: When are they going to fire air in boon?
- 8:56[SPEAKER_20]: Beef.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_20]: Yankees are in third place now behind Boston and of course the division leading Toronto Blue Jays.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, the Blue Jays just humiliated the Yankees and had that play this year.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_20]: Here was embarrassing.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_20]: And you know, I know you can't blame the manager for everything and the slowly nature of some of the players who don't run out ground balls and all of that.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_20]: You know, you wouldn't see that year as you go.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_20]: You wouldn't see that year as you go.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_20]: But you do now.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_20]: And as far as Aaron Boone, fire him.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_20]: uh... there have made a strong stand here now i'm sure there'll be some don't always a nice easy family man he can't fire already keep losing then uh... seven five five twelve forty some other things in the news it was a major announcement and whether it comes to pass i don't know but jet blue the airline has requested essential air service subsidies to run a daily route from water town international to jfk
- 10:12[SPEAKER_20]: Now, for a couple of you, they used to know it as idle wild.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_20]: Remember that?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_20]: There's a traffic jam in Harlem that's backed up to Jackson Heights, Crusher, Stu at Idaho.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, anyway.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_20]: Um, yeah, back in those days.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_20]: Let's see.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_20]: Somebody texted him, boon is okay with players loafing he wants to be their friends.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_31]: Yeah, well.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_20]: Fire him.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_20]: Bring in a Billy Martin bring in a hard ass or something.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_20]: Somebody who can motivate him.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_20]: Somebody who won't sit there well.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_20]: Some of those players just lolly gagged down the first place.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_20]: He's definitely known Billy Martin or anybody else.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_20]: He's just a bomb.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_20]: He's a bomb time to get rid of him.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_20]: But the front office likes, I don't know what the deal is.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_20]: He must have something on him.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_20]: uh... seven five five twelve forty the phone number three one five is the area code other things mentioned jet blue city water town in the talk about it tonight is considering a expanding the trash service to can limited commercial service i think that's a good idea i don't know the details i think they should get into it entirely you know i uh... a lot of us would love to do business you know with a city and help out and all of that prices are reasonable and everything so
- 11:39[SPEAKER_20]: I got a couple of those toters across the street of the vacant building.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_20]: I just put all my trash in there every week and they pick it up.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_20]: But anyway, that's a good idea.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_20]: And we are critical of city council at times and a city government, but I think that's a move in the right direction.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_20]: So I'm not a net, a net-or-ing neighbor of a negative isn't like some of you say.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_20]: Who big round up this morning down at State Street.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_20]: I guess over on court street.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_20]: The homeless.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_20]: The homeless.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_20]: Yep, they routed them up and thrown away the trash at the encampments.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_20]: We're not very sensitive up here.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_20]: And I heard another story.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_20]: It was from somebody that over at the welfare office, they're kicking up homeless people off the rolls.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_20]: You know, everywhere you go.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_20]: And at a certain point,
- 12:39[SPEAKER_20]: gossip has to reflect reality in some way.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_20]: But how many have heard that our welfare system here is very attractive to people elsewhere?
- 12:48[SPEAKER_20]: That they come from New York City to Binghamton.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_20]: That's a natural progression up Route seventeen.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_20]: And then people in Brune County, they've had enough of that so they ship them to water town.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_20]: They said that it's really easy to get on the doll up there.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if that's true.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_20]: It may be.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_20]: And it's a big industry, you know, everybody talks about the outbreak and the car freshers or whatever else or micron.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_20]: The biggest industry around here, you know, the side from healthcare is welfare.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_20]: There's a whole former department store at a house I'm all down there downtown.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_20]: So, I don't know.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe, I don't know what these homeless people, what do they do with them all when they round them up like that?
- 13:38[SPEAKER_20]: Take them up to the park, let them swim.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_20]: Oh no, take them to the north side, I'm sorry.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_20]: I'm sorry about that.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, that's a hot day, why not?
- 13:52[SPEAKER_20]: Somebody texted, I've heard the same thing more than once about this being a welfare magnet.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I dropped off a couple of prescriptions to get refilled, but I made sure I didn't go there in a long shower, so that's good.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_20]: What else is going on?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I don't know.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_20]: I've had it decide what I'm going to ask Congressman Goldman on Wednesday.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_20]: You know, it was a professional.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_20]: I'm bound to be nice to him, but I got to bring up that globalized, interfodder thing, you know, his party's candidate for mayor.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, you know, sensitive topic, but
- 14:38[SPEAKER_20]: What's that infertile?
- 14:39[SPEAKER_20]: I get into thought of what is what's that mean anyway?
- 14:43[SPEAKER_20]: Anybody know?
- 14:45[SPEAKER_20]: I'm not a ball of asking a question.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know what it means.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_20]: So I might just ask them about it anyway, but now.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_20]: But Mr. Goldman supports that or not, and we'll ask them.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_20]: In the end, he's got a vote for Mon Dami because he's the Democratic nominee.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_20]: and who wants to vote for Andrew Kromo?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_20]: Oh my god, Andrew is trying to portray himself as the savior of New York City now.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_20]: He's anything but mom downy, but I've... too many people lost the grandparents to him.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_20]: Too many people watched if he took absolute, can you talk about Trump being a dictator?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_20]: If you see that Andrew during COVID, holy cow!
- 15:30[SPEAKER_20]: He got to let he the lot legislature was like the right stock in nineteen thirty three they just said oh we're gonna vote to give you absolute power and they did they absolutely did and our North country representatives are right in the group walls and all oh yes governor you can have absolute power absolutely I remember it they were weak weak uh-huh let's see
- 15:58[SPEAKER_20]: What's new with Cliff only?
- 15:59[SPEAKER_20]: Anything?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_20]: I know people don't like when I talk about him because they say you give too much publicity to him, but I guess he said he did send his lighter to the AG.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_20]: He said I haven't read it.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_20]: And he's sending one to a controller to Napoli outlining his grievances.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_20]: What's your lengthy?
- 16:18[SPEAKER_20]: And he also says he's kind of laughing.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_20]: He says he's got his own paparazzi.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_20]: He was sitting down on a hot day on the stoop or something under a tree.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_20]: I guess, I don't know where he was over near Stewart's or one of those places.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_20]: And somebody coming by shoots a picture of him and then ends up on the meme page.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_20]: It's kind of like yesterday.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_20]: Tom Holman was in the area again.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_20]: He was at a restaurant.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_20]: I have a picture of him there.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_20]: I'm not going to run it because
- 16:54[SPEAKER_20]: You know, the guy's entitled to some privacy.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_20]: He did give out a nice metal on those coins, a member of coins, famous and powerful people have.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_20]: So he gave out one of those to a person at this particular restaurant up in the Thousand Islands.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_20]: But I'm wondering when Holman comes into a place, I would recognize him.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_20]: But would most people, one thing I notice is that so many people
- 17:24[SPEAKER_20]: Even of an older age group, they don't really know what's going on in the world.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_20]: You know, you talk about, you know, they'll read a headline on the TV, you know, and they say, who's this potten guy meeting with Trump and in Alaska?
- 17:37[SPEAKER_20]: And that kind of stuff.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_20]: And, you know, it's just kind of weird that most people don't, so I don't know if Tom Homeman can go into a place and he's universally recognized or not.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_20]: He certainly welcomed in my book, down on Pearl Street or anywhere else.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_20]: Glad to have him.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_20]: Good job you're doing.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_20]: And if he's sell dinner's for a living, and I don't want to sell one to him, but also the six agents were with him, because he's got a big security detail.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_20]: Now, he's got to.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_20]: There's people who'd off him, wouldn't he?
- 18:11[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_20]: Now, remember, he's still living sack, I don't know if he does, or they were mean to him down there.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_20]: That school superintendent, everybody.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_20]: Jesus.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_20]: That whole village woke is the village of sack at Harvard woke.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_20]: I mean to it outside or just a guy who lives in the heart-scrabble part of town, it sure does look like it when I see the reaction to that thing out of the aliens out on the farm.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_20]: And not just the march, but then the school's superintendent went up and spoke at Tisch James Raleigh and Clayton.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_20]: And I'm saying that, that is one woke village out there.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_20]: I thought, well, I'm sure we have some listeners there.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe you could fill us in on whether just how woke is sack it somewhere.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_20]: It's trendy, there's no doubt it's a nice place.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_20]: But whatever.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_20]: Alrighty, seven, five, five, twelve, forty are phone number.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_20]: If you'd like to give us a hoot and a holler to be on the air today.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_20]: Over in the UK, they're talking about drivers over seventy could be banned from roads.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_20]: I don't see a lot of seventy-year-olds in the end.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_20]: We're getting up for accidents.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, there are some people who shouldn't be driving, but not sure that can always be determined by age.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe candy.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe candy.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_20]: You know, somebody texted it in here.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, yeah, thank God for the sack.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_20]: It's superintendent.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_20]: She really showed him she did.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_20]: You know, we were never really told that whole story ever.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, who were these kids?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_20]: What was the whole deal?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_20]: What was the thing about sexual exploitation of children or something that was all nicely tapped down by our mainstream legacy media here and down?
- 20:20[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_20]: They didn't even cover it when the AG went to the meet with school officials in Sackets a week or so ago.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_20]: They didn't cover that.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_20]: That whole thing got tamped down.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_20]: And we never really found out what went on.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_20]: I'd like, I'd like, I'd just like to know what went on.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_20]: If you know, you can call him, tell us.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_20]: All righty.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_20]: District of Columbia.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_20]: Trump declares an emergency federalizes the city police or the metropolitan police force there.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_20]: Good idea, Pam Bondi in charge.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_20]: You know, people
- 21:01[SPEAKER_20]: Congress, we've gotten mugged, that guy who was with Doge, he got beat up the other day.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_20]: Remember the two people coming out of the Jewish museum there and shot and killed on a sidewalk?
- 21:14[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, I'd say it wouldn't happen everywhere, but you know, maybe a little less of this cashless bail and man be panned, be let them on the streets and you know, you're tired of seeing people who take some eighty year old, knock them down on the sidewalk, pick them in the head a few times
- 21:29[SPEAKER_20]: And they're on the street the night said.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_20]: So, you know, I'll crack down in DC, of course, the lips won't like it.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_20]: It'll be an editorial and an op-ed in the times in a couple days.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_20]: They won't like it either.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_20]: Yes, Erie.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_20]: But it's time to get things under control.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_20]: You should be able to go to your nation's capital and feel safe.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_20]: And I'm not sure you do now.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_20]: Same thing with New York,
- 22:00[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, it loves to go to New York, but in one, I don't know, mom down.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_20]: He's going to make any difference or not.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_20]: He's going to have social workers' cops.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_20]: So that'll do a lot.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_20]: Yep.

- 25:40[SPEAKER_13]: The news in talk authority.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_13]: WATN.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_20]: AM-Twelve Forty.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_20]: Hey, I'm twelve Forty WATN.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_20]: Good afternoon, dear one and all.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_20]: You know, I was just thinking more about topic with Ray Sterling or it might be a good subject for a news junkie pole.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_20]: Should Aaron Boone be sent down the road?
- 26:00[SPEAKER_20]: Yes or no?
- 26:02[SPEAKER_20]: I think it's a valid question.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_20]: And I think, you know, there's the usual boon apologists and the people who say, well, you know, somebody's got to walk the plank, for taking a team with that much batting strength and putting it now in third place and declining.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_20]: So the pull function on my blog doesn't work, I don't know.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_20]: I don't work anymore, but anyway, no news junkies does, so that'd be a good question.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_20]: Aaron Boone, down the road, yes or no.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_20]: And some of you aren't Yankee fans, but you can weigh in, too, it doesn't matter.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_20]: Oh yeah, here's this letter that the Councilman only sent to the state, Comptroller.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_20]: I haven't got the one he sent to the AG.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_20]: You know, Cliff only's problem is he writes all these letters.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_20]: and all these multi-point things and they all have attachments and exhibits and all of that.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_20]: And then he forgets to push the send button.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if he ever sent the one that attorneys general James enough.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_20]: But he says in this one of the comptroller, I respectfully request the comptroller's office open a formal inquiry and audit into a pattern of conduct in the city of Watertown, which appears to have circumvented the city council's exclusive authority to authorize expenditures.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_20]: Michigan's public funds and relied on procedural shortcuts and document concealment to hide those actions.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_20]: The conduct centers on three interrelated incidents that together demonstrate a pattern of bypassing legislative oversight and undermining public transparency.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_24]: Hmm.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_20]: Then it goes on to talk about the unauthorized payment to Harris Beach to prepare the ethics complaint and all the other stuff.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_20]: This text refund concerning that property on Main Avenue, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_20]: It goes on and on it.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_20]: And I don't know whether he voted a chat did or not.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_20]: It's all right.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_20]: It's worth reading.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_20]: You know, it's nothing wrong with AI.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_20]: It uses a tool.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_20]: But if you are a tool and just tell everybody that everything you do is AI, they don't think much.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_20]: So if you use it just discreetly as a tool, that's fine.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_20]: We've all used it for various things, research, crafting, something, or a picture, or a poster, or whatever.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_20]: But you don't go to the teacher and say, boy, I wrote my term paper.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_20]: No, you handed the term paper, get your A, and then go from there.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_20]: Seven, five, five, yeah, graduate from there.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_20]: And you'll end up at some school, or you'll end up in adulthood being stupid, but you won't care at that point.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_20]: Seven, five, five, twelve, four to your phone number.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_20]: If you'd like to give us a hoot and a holler to be on the air today.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_20]: And whatever you want to talk about is what we want to talk about.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_20]: within the balance of good taste, of course.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know what you thought of the, and I don't even know if it's going to be on, apparently it was not on the new news, because they led within that workpiece, you know, about Trump and Marshall Law and Washington and Trump sucks and all that.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_20]: But really, you know, if they did a big pre- or early dawn or early right after dawn, round up of homeless people in court street and state street, that, to me, smacks of local news.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_20]: The old school local news.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_20]: And even if you didn't know it was coming down, there was a picture on news junkies, so by the way, like eight o'clock, you wouldn't know, hey, you don't something happened over there.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_20]: Let's get some.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_20]: But a lot of times media, they get it and they're had, well, the other guy had it.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_20]: It's not news.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_20]: Well, it's just because somebody got it first doesn't mean it's not news.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_20]: You know, you just got to play a little catch-up or get another angle or whatever.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_20]: That's how the news business works.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_20]: Even I'm a failed news person.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_20]: I realize that.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_20]: So I think that, uh, yeah, that roundup there was something.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_20]: Um, how to stay in the air and you're roasting people out of the beds like that.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_20]: Some people would say that's mean.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if it is or not.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_20]: What's the angry man?
- 30:25[SPEAKER_20]: Think about that.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_20]: Let's see, think.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_20]: He was probably over there poking him and waking him up.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_20]: You know, it's a funny thing.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_20]: I was, I got it sometimes I feel so old.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_20]: And it's talking to my even older brother about, you know, the new law about cell phones and school, and classroom discipline, and we've been both being cromudionally said, well, yeah, that's a great thing.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_20]: It's all kind of about how for punishment, you know, you used to have to go outside and clap the racers together.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_20]: You remember that?
- 31:02[SPEAKER_20]: Some of you remember that?
- 31:04[SPEAKER_20]: Clean them off, get the dust off them, probably an environmental nightmare and a public health hazard by today's standards.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_20]: You'd have the DEC all over here for that.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_20]: But anyway, that's what was done.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_20]: You know what I'm using?
- 31:18[SPEAKER_20]: I remember blackboards, they were on a couple of sides of our classroom and sometimes they were green.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_20]: then you'd have those portable lines and you could flip them over or something like that.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_20]: And, you know, I was aware of the advent of whiteboards where you use those Expo markers.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe a lot of places went to that, but I really didn't know.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_20]: I haven't been in a school in years.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_20]: They don't like, especially people of my intellect in the, you know, because I might look at that litter box and say, what's that thing doing?
- 31:49[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_20]: Anyway, so I was asking a teacher acquaintance of mine.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_20]: And I don't know a lot of teachers, but this year I've doubled the number of teachers I know.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_20]: So anyway, I was asking this teachers and they still use chalk and blackboards and he said, hello, well, no, that's one of the use.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_20]: You're something called a promethias board.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_20]: So I looked that up on that they're internet and it's like a TV set and I guess you're getting
- 32:21[SPEAKER_20]: You know draw things on it and of course you get images on it from the internet and all that but they cost a lot of money like a seventy five inch from cost like seventy five hundred bucks and not cheap and there's other brands other than this promitious board brand but that's what they call them promitious boards they don't have they don't have blackboards and they don't have whiteboards I figured they wouldn't have blackboards anymore for obvious reasons but I don't know and of course no one has to wear a dumps cap anymore do they
- 32:51[SPEAKER_20]: No, of course not.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_20]: But that old, does anybody remember going outside and clapping near racers, either against the wall or with each other?
- 33:00[SPEAKER_20]: Does anybody remember that or am I just, oh god, yeah, it's just terrible.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_20]: Yes, nobody does.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe they didn't do that up here, I don't know.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, what teacher would be your friend when you passed him?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_20]: You'd be surprised.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_20]: I like teachers.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_20]: In fact, I've come out and said, I sympathize with them and trying to implement this cell phone law that you see, I don't even November or September seconds going to roll around.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_20]: And there's going to be like, mayhem in the schools saying, Oh, what's this all about?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_20]: Because nobody you're following the news.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, nobody knows where this came from.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_20]: The district did send out stuff, but you know, a lot of parents are
- 33:50[SPEAKER_20]: Some will be belligerent too.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_20]: But I guess about a quarter of students say they don't like it.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_20]: For parents or whatever.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_20]: So there's enough that it's going to cause problems.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_20]: So speaking of September second, that's Labor Day week.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_20]: You know, Labor Day falls on the first this year.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_20]: It's on a Monday, obviously, but that's the first.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_20]: So that means summer ends a week early, doesn't.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_20]: At least for the resorts.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_20]: But that week, we have declared it to be Council re-according week.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_20]: You know, the better while since the primary we want to let the four council candidates get acquainted with voters again.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_20]: I know Glenn will be doing probably a debate in October sometime, but we've already got to Mr. Velasquez set up on Tuesday the second Mr. Osborne and Wednesday the third and I got to get a hold of Monaco and Garrett Grant the afternoon.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_20]: Try to call them after the show.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_20]: See if we can welcome for the Thursday and Friday.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_20]: Just to transfer them to get their two cents in, you know, that type of stuff.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_20]: primary people have kind of been diverted by the hot weather and all that so we've uh... committed that those four days to counsel re-acquainting week but uh... after dinner on the air it's some and uh... you must be hot today uh... well actually i have air conditioning and i'm home enjoying the nice traditions lunch really what do you have and i'm having
- 35:19[SPEAKER_20]: uh... salad cucumber salad with lettuce and um... some little pieces of uh... pork you know what's great Samantha is that those poor people in the homeless encampments got woke up today by the cops in the sweltering heat no where to go and they don't work but you don't work either in you have an air conditioner and everything's great i'm on social security since
- 35:51[SPEAKER_20]: Since when?
- 35:52[SPEAKER_20]: How long has it been?
- 35:54[SPEAKER_07]: For a long time.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_07]: But I wanted to talk to you about a job I had a long long time ago when I lived in New Hampshire.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_07]: At a very young age, it was a job working at a place called Sixth and Save Garage.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_07]: And I handed out tools and handled the cash register.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_07]: It was a fun job.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_07]: The people I worked for was Bob Davis and they were the mechanics there.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_07]: They're all right.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_20]: Well, tell me more.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, why do you leave?
- 36:25[SPEAKER_07]: Um, my mother thought I would be suitable at working someplace else.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_07]: I don't really think she liked me writing my ten feet by down.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_07]: Arce, a down route one, a Corona road.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_07]: I think it made her kind of nervous that I was first in there.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_07]: Well, while there's getting a risk, I mean, he had like eight bays that people could come in rent a space and work on their own cars.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_07]: And I've never seen anything like that up here in New York State.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_07]: There probably is somewhere probably maybe in Victor, New York or the place like that.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_22]: Uh-huh.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_07]: But I would never, I don't think I would ever apply for a, I go to Napa up here.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_07]: and local and I could go someplace close but I don't even like putting care in my time.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_07]: I don't even know how to do it.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_07]: I don't just like just... You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:36[UNKNOWN]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_20]: You shouldn't have failed.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_20]: You
- 37:42[SPEAKER_20]: We lost Samantha there.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_20]: Well, anyway, good to hear from her up in Alex Bay.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_20]: Good to hear from her.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_20]: Well, what else were you going on?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_20]: Anything else of interest to you?
- 37:54[SPEAKER_20]: No?
- 37:59[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_20]: Well, we can talk about those tea, the school cell phone ban if you want, if you think it's going to be a big hit.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_20]: Um, we hope they get tough on it.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_20]: Like Trump's doing with DC right now.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_20]: Get tough on him.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_20]: Crack down.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_20]: Crack down.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_20]: But after dude around the air.

- 46:29[SPEAKER_20]: He's accused of reporting an emergency.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_20]: But children under the military were choking.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_20]: Wow.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_20]: Wow.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_20]: And he's charged with some more stuff.

- 46:51[SPEAKER_20]: They must not have liked him.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_20]: Must not have liked him at all.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_20]: Good afternoon, Ronnier.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, I was just in there.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_20]: Hey, what's up?
- 47:00[SPEAKER_17]: Well, it had nice calls from Samantha.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_17]: And I was glad to hear about the raid on the homeless, making his death call as fast as you can for them.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_17]: And she ought to be an example form that there is how about there.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_17]: if you just go on with the system she don't care for working with the physical disability and the people who were in these homeless encampments are they the ones that are going to go in that building on may not have a new i hope not because i said she doesn't know that open up the uh... your prison and uh... drive out and put them up there
- 47:45[SPEAKER_17]: Mm-hmm.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_17]: Then you're using a building and you're keeping them away from town.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_17]: It's for a little while.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_20]: Then come down to Hill and maybe burglars or homes on the Feasant Road there.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_20]: Well, that's okay.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_20]: Bobby, I'll sell them a nice security system.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_20]: Listen, well, that's great.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_20]: And did you watch the homeless care?
- 48:14[SPEAKER_20]: Rounded up this morning.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_17]: No, I didn't see it, but I haven't catch it at some point today.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I don't know if there's really any video of it, but.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_17]: Well, I don't know.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_17]: But the other point was still the girl there.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_17]: She's an example of that.
- 48:36[UNKNOWN]: If you go to social services and play them on with them and make you a point and mention it.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_17]: You can give you a cut that there is another way.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_17]: You don't have to be a homeless, but you might have to play with the system.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_17]: You might have to give up your nuts and your alcohol.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_17]: But there is how about there.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_17]: And she's a perfect example of her.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_20]: Well, she's doing, you know, Samantha is doing fine.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_20]: There's no doubt about it.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_20]: She's got
- 49:12[SPEAKER_20]: Nice apartment air conditioning.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_20]: All right.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_20]: Thank you.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_17]: Bye now.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_20]: Bye now.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_20]: But after dinner on the air.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_17]: I'm here.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_17]: How are you today?
- 49:24[SPEAKER_20]: Good.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_14]: The description you were given earlier is a guy on the motorcycle.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_14]: Everything you read about everything he did and every car you have, we see all day every day.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_14]: But because the vehicles that are doing this
- 49:40[SPEAKER_14]: including talking on your phone and smoking as you drive along and drinking and yada yada is not a force because it's a electric vehicle but it isn't a force because that was a gas powered vehicle hmm you think we got to do it like change that I don't know although it's all those e-bikes you got the same thing people driving all over like crazy go in the wrong way down streets up on sidewalk same thing with those scooters all of them seem that really if you've been along like it's nobody's business drinking drive in
- 50:11[SPEAKER_20]: Now, the scooters do me no one to stand on and they go.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_20]: The one to stand on and they're motorized.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, and though the bicycle to E bike once they go like thirty five miles per hour, I can't we see someone smoking a cigarette drinking on their phone driving along going to crosswalks, going cut, cutting across traffic.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_14]: I had someone on a E bike around a E scooter, cut across, you know, a parking lot and running inside of me.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_14]: But of course, who's a fall?
- 50:40[SPEAKER_20]: you are you know you're not moving the bigger vehicles one is going to get any any problems or we we need to you know step forward and kind of do something about that don't you agree well I would think so but I don't know what to do about it well the same thing we did about it with the guy was on the motorcycle right around what's the difference yeah well I don't know I mean I because I have the police in here to talk about it I don't really know a lot about it yeah well you know there's
- 51:10[SPEAKER_14]: We've got a lot to happen in the area right now, and sometimes we've got to be like updated, like, you know, like, in another six days, you know, the beginning of, you know, the month period, and after the mid month period, we have the ed month period, and then at the beginning of September, we have the complete spot park law suit going on.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, that's when the city gets sued, so we have to be prepared for that.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_24]: The count out of that's kind of crazy.
- 51:36[UNKNOWN]: You know, when the angry guy called in the other day, I think he explained
- 51:42[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_10]: What?
- 51:44[UNKNOWN]: Well, you have a call in talk show.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_22]: So it's what you do is you pick up the phone and leave those those words.
