Sunday Sermon | What Child is This?: Great Light
Isaiah 9 speaks of a time when gloom and anguish will be replaced by glory and light. The regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, once in darkness due to Assyrian captivity, are promised a great light symbolizing hope and restoration. This prophecy is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who brings life and light to humanity. As we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded to turn away from modern-day idols and embrace the true light of Christ, allowing His hope and joy to transform our lives.
