- 2:37Speaker 1: I'm Adam Todd Brown. Who are you.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I'm Olivia Heidar and we.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Are your hosts Olivia. How's it going?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Oh, you know, not bad, like it's it's it's the holidays.
- 2:49Speaker 3: This is you know, it's kind of a nice time,
- 2:51Speaker 3: you know, reconnecting with family and stuff for whatever that's worth.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah, we got that going for us.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah, but uh but yeah, other than that, you know,
- 3:04Speaker 3: things seem to be shitty generally. Uh, and I'm not
- 3:08Speaker 3: having a great time.
- 3:09Speaker 1: So yeah, it's it seems like a bad end to
- 3:12Speaker 1: the year for a lot of people I know, including myself. Yeah,
- 3:16Speaker 1: it's a same it's been. It's been a rough one.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But oh, twenty twenty two, is that what's coming up next?
- 3:22Speaker 1: I think, yeah, twenty twenty two, Yeah, that'll be that'll
- 3:24Speaker 1: probably be better.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Right, Oh yeah, no, it's even so you know that'll yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 3: that'll help. I mean, you know, nothing bad happened last year, so.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We got mid term elections coming up. I'm sure that,
- 3:35Speaker 1: oh it leads to us. I'm sure that won't lead
- 3:38Speaker 1: to a riot that gets Nancy Pelosi hanged and the
- 3:42Speaker 1: national mall.
- 3:44Speaker 3: The it's just like it's super normal. This is like
- 3:47Speaker 3: the most normal election we've ever had. That's that's what
- 3:50Speaker 3: we're looking forward to, a bunch of commercials saying, don't worry, guys, Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 3: everything is normal.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Hey, candidates on both sides vote for That's what those
- 4:01Speaker 1: commercials are going to be like. Because we've all had
- 4:03Speaker 1: it with the tension and divide in this country. No
- 4:07Speaker 1: we haven't. It's our favorite thing. So we are. We're
- 4:12Speaker 1: round and third heading for home. In our exploration of
- 4:18Speaker 1: the Jesse Ventura they don't want you to see the
- 4:21Speaker 1: highly banned second season with conspiracy theory with Jesse Ventura when.
- 4:29Speaker 3: The body was too hot for TV.
- 4:31Speaker 1: He really is, He's hitting on some sensitive subjects. This
- 4:36Speaker 1: first one, the Gulf oil spill. This I'm gonna warn
- 4:41Speaker 1: people right up front. This is one that seems perfectly
- 4:44Speaker 1: believable for most of it. And then here comes Alex
- 4:47Speaker 1: Jones and it's like, Okay, I didn't really know there
- 4:52Speaker 1: was a conspiracy theory surrounding the goal, and we're referring
- 4:56Speaker 1: to the twenty ten golf oil spill because there's been.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Some That's just one of the reasons that this episode
- 5:03Speaker 3: is I think one of the more interesting in the series,
- 5:07Speaker 3: just because it came out months after the oil spill,
- 5:12Speaker 3: like it aired in December of twenty ten, and to
- 5:16Speaker 3: have already developed this sort of roiling conspiracy theory in
- 5:22Speaker 3: that short amount of time is like really impressive.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Honestly.
- 5:26Speaker 1: What I love about that is it actually kind of
- 5:31Speaker 1: plays into the general conspiracy theory, but makes this show
- 5:35Speaker 1: seem like it was in on it because the general
- 5:38Speaker 1: theory is that BP and Halliburton knew this was going
- 5:42Speaker 1: to happen and they just prepared for it right in
- 5:45Speaker 1: a way that allowed them to capitalize. And like maybe
- 5:48Speaker 1: this true TV episode is part of that, Like they
- 5:53Speaker 1: reached out and were like, hey, you want a juicy
- 5:55Speaker 1: conspiracy theory episode. Yeah, you got to take this young
- 5:59Speaker 1: ups art of ours though, and include his opinions. His
- 6:03Speaker 1: name's Alex Jones, you know him. That's the thing.
- 6:06Speaker 3: It's like this, I feel its starting to feel like
- 6:10Speaker 3: this whole show is that sort of mirage men, right,
- 6:14Speaker 3: that's the that was the documentary in cash Man. It
- 6:16Speaker 3: just feels like a whole operation like that, Like the
- 6:19Speaker 3: entire show. Uh, you know. They they'll sometimes talk about
- 6:23Speaker 3: something real and then they'll just have enough bullshit in
- 6:27Speaker 3: there that it throws the whole thing off.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I think Jesse Ventura doesn't have a very healthy relationship
- 6:37Speaker 1: with confirmation bias. Yeah, and I think that's I think
- 6:41Speaker 1: someone out there has recognized that and they just send
- 6:44Speaker 1: whoever is. I think whoever can speak as confidently as
- 6:48Speaker 1: he does is like I believe.
- 6:51Speaker 3: It believe I've called him in the past, the most
- 6:54Speaker 3: credulous man in existence. Yeah, he just takes everything at
- 6:58Speaker 3: face value, and that is definitely an easy thing to
- 7:03Speaker 3: capitalize on if you want to do that.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because he's like the first i'd say two thirds
- 7:09Speaker 1: of this episode. It's like it's like some legitimate investigative
- 7:12Speaker 1: journalism basically, Like it really is talking about a thing
- 7:17Speaker 1: that I wouldn't at all put past an oil company
- 7:20Speaker 1: or Halliburton, Like how as I think Halliburton was founded
- 7:26Speaker 1: to profit off war and death, Like yeah, solely like
- 7:31Speaker 1: that just misery, misery, inc. That is their biz. Yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and I wouldn't be surprised if because they will. We'll
- 7:39Speaker 1: get into it in more detail. But they were working
- 7:42Speaker 1: with BP on this oil tanker that blew up, and
- 7:48Speaker 1: if they knew it was going to blow up, Like
- 7:51Speaker 1: Halliburton is exactly the kind of company that would go,
- 7:54Speaker 1: it's fine, We'll just figure out how to make money
- 7:57Speaker 1: from this, like they got rich off the ear War,
- 8:00Speaker 1: which I mean the nine there's a nine to eleven
- 8:03Speaker 1: episode next.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing like that. Yeah, these do kind
- 8:08Speaker 3: of bump up against each other in interesting ways. Also,
- 8:12Speaker 3: even though I think the next episode is slightly less successful.
- 8:16Speaker 3: But this whole story is extremely I mean, I definitely
- 8:20Speaker 3: would not put any of this past Haliperton to say
- 8:24Speaker 3: the least. I mean, you know, as little as I
- 8:26Speaker 3: think of the Republicans who worked for them, Like a
- 8:30Speaker 3: corporation like that is even somehow even less ethical.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it would actually be like maybe top five in
- 8:40Speaker 1: the biggest atrocities pulled off by Haliburton related industries and companies.
- 8:46Speaker 3: But maybe, well, it's like bait. It's kind of like
- 8:50Speaker 3: a it's a slow burn, like the Greatest Showman Box Office,
- 8:54Speaker 3: where it's just like it's just doing damage every week.
- 8:57Speaker 3: It's just never it just never stops. We don't know
- 9:00Speaker 3: the final returns yet on how much damage this whole
- 9:04Speaker 3: deep water thing has done to the golf ecosystem, but
- 9:08Speaker 3: maybe it's not done killing things.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure. And the areas where this gets
- 9:14Speaker 1: into not being a believable theory is when not just
- 9:18Speaker 1: Alex Jones, but they bring on a guy near the
- 9:21Speaker 1: end too, and they both start pitching this as a
- 9:24Speaker 1: they're trying to kill us all conspiracy. Yeah, And I'm
- 9:27Speaker 1: always hesitant to accept a conspiracy like that when it
- 9:31Speaker 1: especially when it involves like corporations, because if they kill
- 9:35Speaker 1: us all, who are they going to sell their shit to?
- 9:38Speaker 3: Exactly? This is a thing that I kept thinking about
- 9:41Speaker 3: for a lot of this episode when he gets into
- 9:43Speaker 3: the grander arcs of how his and Alyx chose his
- 9:48Speaker 3: imagination have extrapolated on the information available to them.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So the theory centers around, like we said, the idea
- 9:56Speaker 1: that Halliburton and BP knew this was going to happen.
- 10:00Speaker 1: The two things that they bring up that I do
- 10:02Speaker 1: admit are perfectly suspicious. A lot of BP executives sold
- 10:09Speaker 1: off stock in the run up to this, like lots
- 10:13Speaker 1: of stock. But even more suspicious, Halliburton bought an oil
- 10:18Speaker 1: cleanup company for two hundred and forty like million or
- 10:22Speaker 1: billion dollars eleven days before this happened. And that's the
- 10:28Speaker 1: kind of thing like I like to pitch this show
- 10:31Speaker 1: and the true crime show to each audience because those
- 10:34Speaker 1: are audiences that need to meet. Because for sure, when
- 10:39Speaker 1: you get someone who doesn't believe conspiracy theories, just like
- 10:43Speaker 1: Blanket thinks they're all like right wing quackery, the one
- 10:47Speaker 1: thing they're going to say is, well, that's just a
- 10:49Speaker 1: coincidence that they they bought an oil cleanup company eleven
- 10:54Speaker 1: days before an oil spill they maybe knew was going
- 10:57Speaker 1: to happen. Sure, but that's just CoInc Meanwhile, the true
- 11:02Speaker 1: crime crowd, if you watch any true crime show, all
- 11:05Speaker 1: you hear is I don't believe in coincidences. And it's
- 11:08Speaker 1: like that's compartmentalized thinking. That needs to stop. Sometimes coincidence
- 11:13Speaker 1: has happened. Sometimes you got to accept that it can't
- 11:16Speaker 1: all be a coincidence. And I feel that feels legitimately
- 11:20Speaker 1: damning to me that Halliburton was like, I know what
- 11:24Speaker 1: we'll do. We'll just make a shit ton of money
- 11:26Speaker 1: cleaning this up, like that's their business model.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I could definitely see them thinking, you know,
- 11:34Speaker 3: you know, how much is it going to cost to
- 11:36Speaker 3: do that and how much would you get back versus
- 11:39Speaker 3: how much would it cost to try to stop it
- 11:43Speaker 3: from happening in the first place, And that was probably
- 11:47Speaker 3: a really easy book to balance for them.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I had my armpits ravaged by somehow faulty old spice
- 11:55Speaker 1: deodorant earlier this year, and when I was looking into
- 11:59Speaker 1: all of that, it turned out that old Spice, like
- 12:03Speaker 1: this particular brand I was using bear claw by the
- 12:05Speaker 1: way of or bear gloves. Sorry avoided at all costs.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It had been giving people like chemical burns for a
- 12:13Speaker 1: long time, and there was an article that was like, well,
- 12:17Speaker 1: they're trying to figure out if they want to like
- 12:19Speaker 1: pull it or just pay everyone. It happens too because
- 12:22Speaker 1: it's happening to like so few people in comparison to
- 12:25Speaker 1: the number of people who are using it, And it's like,
- 12:28Speaker 1: that's kind of the same thing here. They're like, I
- 12:31Speaker 1: don't know, do we like try and stop it. That's
- 12:33Speaker 1: going to cost us a lot of money and we're
- 12:34Speaker 1: not gonna make shit on that.
- 12:36Speaker 3: That is just a that is just such a great
- 12:39Speaker 3: macro and micro of how capitalism is like ruining the world. Yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 3: in that it's from everything down to quality control on
- 12:49Speaker 3: deodorant and up to the entire fate of the planet,
- 12:54Speaker 3: basically like human race.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I had a staph infection. I could
- 12:58Speaker 1: have died. Jesus, it was nuts. I've told the story before.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It's gnarly sounds awful.
- 13:04Speaker 3: So team meeting time, oh Jesus, okay, Oh, Before before
- 13:11Speaker 3: we get into the team meeting, I just want to say,
- 13:14Speaker 3: Daniel sucks.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Ass he does. He does.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I don't like him like what he says obviously, but
- 13:23Speaker 3: that I had that problem with Alex, like Alex sucked
- 13:26Speaker 3: to Uh, but this guy is a worst actor one
- 13:29Speaker 3: and two. Uh, I hate his hair. No if it's
- 13:35Speaker 3: if he's listening, but you should have gotten a fucking haircut,
- 13:39Speaker 3: hippie like Jesus.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Even by twenty ten.
- 13:44Speaker 3: It is the most ridiculous fucking Pete Wentz mop It's awful.
- 13:52Speaker 3: He looks like Toby Maguire and Spider Man three. He
- 13:56Speaker 3: just looks like the biggest fucking dork. Really disliked him,
- 14:01Speaker 3: and then he's like spouting the dumbest corporate boot looking nonsense.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Someday I'm going to be bored enough to go back
- 14:10Speaker 1: through all these Jesse Ventura episodes and give them all
- 14:14Speaker 1: like seventeen word fallout Boy song titles, just for no
- 14:19Speaker 1: one's amusement but my own. Yeah, I mean it's the best.
- 14:24Speaker 3: You guys will get it if you watch this episode,
- 14:28Speaker 3: good luck, But if you see him, you'll know he
- 14:31Speaker 3: looks awful.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And Jesse brings up in this team meeting the suggestion
- 14:36Speaker 1: that hey, maybe this was possibly deliberate, but if nothing
- 14:41Speaker 1: else they knew it was going to happen and decided
- 14:44Speaker 1: to capitalize on it. Yeah, and Daniel is like, why
- 14:47Speaker 1: would anyone do that? He kids so riled, And it's like, man,
- 14:53Speaker 1: you remember the war in Iraq, right, because it was
- 14:55Speaker 1: still happening as this episode was being filmed. Same thing, like,
- 15:01Speaker 1: same same thing. We we just lied our way into
- 15:06Speaker 1: being able to steal all the oil from a country
- 15:09Speaker 1: we hated.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I just I just can't even imagine the pure mind.
- 15:16Speaker 3: You know, it's it's smooth as a diamond and just
- 15:21Speaker 3: in crystal clear that can look at the world and say,
- 15:25Speaker 3: how why would a corporation try to ruin the earth
- 15:31Speaker 3: in order to make as much money as they possibly can.
- 15:35Speaker 1: That's like the biggest scandal of our time.
- 15:38Speaker 4: It's the corporation's the history of the modern world. That's
- 15:44Speaker 4: that's That's what Wall Street was fucking thirty years ago.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Like Jesus, what was the screening process for hiring this guy?
- 15:53Speaker 1: I think that happened me the one question do you
- 15:55Speaker 1: trust corporations? And he said yes, And they're like, you
- 15:58Speaker 1: are our skeptic.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Come on, he is one hundred percent scripted. I'm sorry
- 16:04Speaker 3: that I would like hope. So he is an he
- 16:07Speaker 3: is an actor, all of the all of them are
- 16:09Speaker 3: actors basically, But.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Like Jesse Venture, he's a true well sneaker.
- 16:14Speaker 3: No, he's he is just he can only ever be Jesse.
- 16:19Speaker 3: That's all you can do, which is great. But Daniel,
- 16:23Speaker 3: if that is his real name, because he, like the
- 16:28Speaker 3: other guy whose name I noticed, uh this time, but
- 16:32Speaker 3: that now I'm now I'm forgetting it, has like a
- 16:34Speaker 3: weird mononym like yes, that's it, it's Braverman, which just
- 16:43Speaker 3: makes me think of a serious man.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah or yeah, I bet he's like get it braver
- 16:50Speaker 1: man like I.
- 16:52Speaker 3: But yeah, and so Daniel has never given a last name.
- 16:54Speaker 3: June Sarpong might be a real person, but like Daniel
- 16:57Speaker 3: never gets a last name, and he does, I just
- 16:59Speaker 3: don't care a shit, So never mind, regardless, he's not real,
- 17:04Speaker 3: he's not a real person. These aren't real ideas, Like
- 17:07Speaker 3: he's just a written thing for Jesse to like throw
- 17:10Speaker 3: darts at.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Basically, yeah, you gotta hope, so because that like in
- 17:15Speaker 1: terms of things the Bush Cheney Machine and Haliburton teamed
- 17:21Speaker 1: up on, like The War in Iraq would be the
- 17:24Speaker 1: first movie that everyone agrees as like classic cinema. Then
- 17:29Speaker 1: this would be the one where it's like, really, you
- 17:32Speaker 1: go from like taking out an entire country to just
- 17:35Speaker 1: the Gulf coast. Right, No, it's not how this franchise
- 17:39Speaker 1: is supposed to move.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It's like bush Cheney six, you know, Revenge of the Golf.
- 17:45Speaker 3: We've already had the ex On Mobile, but now we've
- 17:48Speaker 3: got the deep wider horizon.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, because there was like Afghanistan and the in between this.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That, Yeah, there is definitely Afghanistan.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Or wait, did we invade Afghanistan first?
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yes, to stop to Talibi. Okay, again, this is all
- 18:05Speaker 3: stuff that will probably touch on in the next episode.
- 18:08Speaker 1: But here's the thing. That movie comes out second as
- 18:11Speaker 1: a prewot. Yeah, that's the prequel.
- 18:14Speaker 3: And then yeah, it's Ara zero.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And then this and this is the point where we're like, okay,
- 18:22Speaker 1: we've had enough movies. This one's dumb.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Let's go Okay, Tom Cruise is about to fucking die
- 18:27Speaker 3: in space. We gotta calm down for a second.
- 18:31Speaker 1: So Jesse and Daniel head to Huma, Arizona, where BP
- 18:35Speaker 1: has this command center of some sort setup. June Sarpong
- 18:40Speaker 1: is in Florida interviewing Mike Popentano environmental lawyer. Right. He says,
- 18:47Speaker 1: not only did BP and Haliburton know this was gonna happen,
- 18:51Speaker 1: but they also could have fixed it with a thing
- 18:53Speaker 1: called an acoustic switch. And he talks about how those
- 18:57Speaker 1: are required on oil rigs and the countries, but Dick
- 19:01Speaker 1: Cheney like lobbied to have them not required here.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I can't wait for him to die. Why wasn't he
- 19:08Speaker 3: the first one?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it makes no sense. He's had so many
- 19:12Speaker 1: heart attacks, like yes, Like I can't believe. Like, if
- 19:17Speaker 1: you want to believe in a Drena chrome conspiracy, you
- 19:21Speaker 1: gotta start with Dick Cheney, Like he's had no empire.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yeah, he's way beyond the Drena Chrome. He's into the
- 19:29Speaker 3: deep shit he.
- 19:30Speaker 1: He I think he is kept alive by sucking the
- 19:34Speaker 1: resources out of the earth.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, just pure evil, that's it. That's all it is.
- 19:40Speaker 1: And once we run out, then he's just going to
- 19:43Speaker 1: explode into a ball of light and descend to Hell.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Yeah, take everyone with him.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And so yeah, it's not a surprise, Like, no, this
- 19:54Speaker 1: is one of those conspiracies that the whole way, I'm like, yeah,
- 19:57Speaker 1: that's probably true. Ye, Like I bet I could it
- 20:00Speaker 1: like they do sometimes show like yeah, news articles that
- 20:05Speaker 1: are reporting this.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Well, but also like this, again, this is another consequence
- 20:10Speaker 3: of this being so soon after, like they probably were
- 20:14Speaker 3: shooting this like three or four months after the oil
- 20:18Speaker 3: spill happened, because a lot of that looked like it
- 20:20Speaker 3: was like summer shots. And yeah, it's just it's wild
- 20:24Speaker 3: to think that they're they're getting onto a lot of
- 20:26Speaker 3: real stuff. I'm sure there's been even more stuff revealed.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So the next person Jesse talks to is a guy
- 20:32Speaker 1: named Adam Dillon, who says there is a cover up
- 20:36Speaker 1: behind how big this oil spill really was. His basic
- 20:41Speaker 1: premise is that we saw the oil on top, but
- 20:44Speaker 1: that oil went way way way down below the surface
- 20:48Speaker 1: of the water, and that it was worse than they
- 20:50Speaker 1: were saying. And he claims he took this information to
- 20:53Speaker 1: his boss at BP and he was fired and interrogated
- 20:59Speaker 1: by BP security over this. And I like this guy
- 21:05Speaker 1: because if his story is true, he realized who he
- 21:08Speaker 1: was dealing with. He wasn't dealing with the government, he
- 21:11Speaker 1: was dealing with BP, right, and they had already fired him.
- 21:15Speaker 1: So by the time they get to interrogating him, he's
- 21:18Speaker 1: like no, you can't have any of the shit you're
- 21:20Speaker 1: asking for me. Yeah, like, and I'm not going to
- 21:22Speaker 1: answer any of your questions, which is the right thing
- 21:26Speaker 1: to do in absolute And I'm not saying BP security
- 21:29Speaker 1: wouldn't murder anybody. Oh no, I don't want to take
- 21:34Speaker 1: that credit away from them.
- 21:36Speaker 3: No, they absolutely would.
- 21:37Speaker 1: But apparently they didn't murder Adam Dillon.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Well all of this was revealed inside a Dave's cage
- 21:45Speaker 1: and chicken.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and like this is here's the thing. They they
- 21:49Speaker 3: probably didn't have this guy killed because they knew his
- 21:52Speaker 3: first instinct would be to go to Jesse Ventura and
- 21:57Speaker 3: that it didn't really matter that no one would take
- 21:59Speaker 3: it serious.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, because.
- 22:03Speaker 3: They met in a Dave's Cajun chicken.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I bet that chicken's all right, though, I bet it's good.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the golf, it's probably great.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So next they head over to this BP command center
- 22:16Speaker 1: and for some reason they just won't let Jesse venture
- 22:21Speaker 1: in which.
- 22:23Speaker 3: His recurring nemesis restricted areas.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I love how we're pretending by this point that BP
- 22:32Speaker 1: oil is a very scary entity in and of itself,
- 22:36Speaker 1: which yeah, like physically, no, you could probably beat the
- 22:40Speaker 1: shit out of every BP oil executive that exists.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And especially the body you know, yeah, he throw him
- 22:47Speaker 3: a body breaker.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Nevertheless, a BP representative comes out to talk to Jesse
- 22:53Speaker 1: and is like, I want to go on a boat
- 22:54Speaker 1: with us tomorrow, and he's like, all right, yes I do.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's like, i't go on a boat with it, like
- 23:01Speaker 1: even with the camera crew, because they would just be like,
- 23:04Speaker 1: the whole camera crew died in that boat accident, and
- 23:07Speaker 1: we will never recover that footage. We burned it underwater.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I could never imagine, Uh, taking a boat
- 23:15Speaker 3: ride in an oil company boat sounds like a.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Nightmare, especially not when you're trying to expose.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, that's seeking to just.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Either profit off the BP oil spill or depopulate the
- 23:27Speaker 1: entire Gulf Coast through murder.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yeah, that that's a spoiler. Are we We're
- 23:33Speaker 3: not there yet, but Jesus.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We're getting there. So they they go on this boat
- 23:39Speaker 1: trip and there's there's lots of talk about core exit,
- 23:44Speaker 1: which is this dispersant that they use to clean up
- 23:47Speaker 1: the oil from what I gather, as opposed to actually
- 23:50Speaker 1: cleaning the oil up. It just turns it it like,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I guess it does what it sounds like it does.
- 23:55Speaker 1: It's a dispersan, so it just like disperses it into
- 23:58Speaker 1: smaller like little chunks.
- 24:00Speaker 3: So yeah, almost like solidify. It doesn't solidify it, but
- 24:04Speaker 3: it makes it easier to manage. You're not gonna it's
- 24:06Speaker 3: not going to be getting on things in the same way.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I don't know enough about the science behind that to
- 24:12Speaker 1: know if it's a good approach or not. But one
- 24:17Speaker 1: thing Jesse Ventura brings up that seems to be true
- 24:21Speaker 1: is that this dispersant that BP was using, they had
- 24:25Speaker 1: been told by the e p A uh r I
- 24:29Speaker 1: P that that they had to stop using this because
- 24:34Speaker 1: it was it was bad. It might hurt the might
- 24:38Speaker 1: hurt the ocean, it might hurt the people. And BP
- 24:41Speaker 1: was like, hmm, that's gonna cost too much. We're not
- 24:43Speaker 1: going to stop, and the government was just like okay. Uh.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Daniel's like, why the.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Fuck would a company try to kill your earth?
- 24:55Speaker 1: And that all seems to be true this yeah, uh,
- 24:59Speaker 1: I didn't find any thing debunking that, And he gets
- 25:02Speaker 1: this BP guy to admit this that EPA told them
- 25:05Speaker 1: to stop using it, but uh. Jesse then goes into
- 25:11Speaker 1: what seems kind of obvious, which is that BP has
- 25:15Speaker 1: a financial interest in this dispers that they're using, right,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and that's why they don't want to get rid of it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: And I think they do a decent job of like
- 25:26Speaker 1: proving that, like they talk about the specific ties and
- 25:31Speaker 1: again not not even sort of surprised if that's yeah true,
- 25:35Speaker 1: because that's how that's how these these companies work essentially.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean again, yeah, you know if as anyone
- 25:43Speaker 3: would watch Succession would know, uh you know, it's it's
- 25:47Speaker 3: basically run by a bunch of depraved animals who only
- 25:51Speaker 3: want more money and more power. And uh yeah, I
- 25:54Speaker 3: wouldn't put much much of anything, you know, as much
- 25:56Speaker 3: as I wouldn't put put anything past the CIA or
- 25:59Speaker 3: the or the f B, I really don't put much
- 26:02Speaker 3: at all, even less I put less past a giant
- 26:06Speaker 3: corporation like BP, especially an oil.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Company, especially an oil company.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Yeah, like yeah, holy shit, I mean think about like, uh,
- 26:13Speaker 3: the what happened with The Insider? You watch The Insider,
- 26:17Speaker 3: that Michael Mann movie years ago. It was about the
- 26:20Speaker 3: tobacco whistleblower. We talked about, Yeah, cigarettes cause cancer, uh,
- 26:27Speaker 3: and tobacco industry is way less powerful than an oil industry,
- 26:31Speaker 3: and they fucked that guy's life up all the way is.
- 26:34Speaker 1: A tobacco industry less powerful? I mean I think they
- 26:38Speaker 1: get to kill more people a year. Well, well, I
- 26:40Speaker 1: don't know.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Different, that's a different kind of power. But I mean
- 26:45Speaker 3: think about oil. Oil is killing us all bit by bit.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they're gonna kill everyone at once.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Just like with this with the oil spill. It's the
- 26:53Speaker 3: long game that they're into, you know.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Yeah, So yeah, honestly, none of this sounds that far
- 26:59Speaker 1: fetched at all. So far that Halliburton and all these
- 27:03Speaker 1: corporate interests knew a disaster was coming and they decided
- 27:07Speaker 1: to capitalize on it. We live in a nation where
- 27:11Speaker 1: that is what happens when a disaster happens. Government capitalizes
- 27:16Speaker 1: on it, corporations capitalize on it, and we just deal
- 27:20Speaker 1: with the grief, but with a little less freedom than before.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Yeah, luckily, none of that's happening anymore. Everything is chill now,
- 27:29Speaker 3: which is good.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Well now that Biden's in office.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Right yeah, yeah, and COVID is gone.
- 27:33Speaker 1: So yeah, things are things are pretty much back to normal.
- 27:36Speaker 1: So with this all seeming very believable up to this point,
- 27:41Speaker 1: that can only mean one thing. Yeah, here comes Alex Jones.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Times for Alex shows the sile up and hey, by
- 27:48Speaker 3: the way, that's all true.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But also they they say he's meeting the governor in
- 27:54Speaker 1: a dark corner in New Orleans French Quarter district, and
- 27:58Speaker 1: then they just show him standing out on the street
- 28:01Speaker 1: like waiting for Jesse venture. It doesn't so I think
- 28:04Speaker 1: there's like a French Quarter sign above.
- 28:06Speaker 3: His nighttime, right, Yeah, it's night, it's kind of dark.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I bet there were still people there. Well, you know,
- 28:15Speaker 3: the cinematography on this show is not great. I would say, like,
- 28:19Speaker 3: you know, that's never been my point of interest for it.
- 28:23Speaker 1: And Alex Jones, he starts at first the stuff he's
- 28:27Speaker 1: saying really isn't that surprising? He says, you know, all
- 28:31Speaker 1: the people who worked on the Exxon Valdi's oil spill,
- 28:35Speaker 1: they're dead now, And yeah, like so are most of
- 28:38Speaker 1: the people who cleaned up nine to eleven. And if not,
- 28:41Speaker 1: it's coming. Sorry Steve Buscemi so Jesus shocking or horrifying claim,
- 28:48Speaker 1: but not not really shocking. But he goes on to
- 28:51Speaker 1: explain that this core exit dispers it is part of
- 28:55Speaker 1: an insidious plot to depopulate the Gulf Coast and turn
- 28:59Speaker 1: it all into one big oil refinery.
- 29:03Speaker 3: This theory makes no sense at all. I just want
- 29:06Speaker 3: to say up top, from a logistics standpoint and from
- 29:11Speaker 3: a like motive standpoint.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's I think a lot of it hinges on
- 29:18Speaker 1: what what's your definition of deep populate? Yeah, because he's
- 29:22Speaker 1: clearly implying that they're going to murder everyone, I guess
- 29:29Speaker 1: by making the area too toxic for people to live. Well,
- 29:33Speaker 1: so how do you how do you how do you
- 29:35Speaker 1: turn it into oil town if it's too toxic for
- 29:38Speaker 1: because that's not going to just undo itself like there
- 29:41Speaker 1: are there are communities in the United States where people
- 29:44Speaker 1: still cannot live. Uh times beach missouris to drive by
- 29:49Speaker 1: it every year when we would go to six Flags
- 29:52Speaker 1: in Saint Louis for vacation, that they sprayed the wrong
- 29:56Speaker 1: fucking tar on the streets in that town and no
- 29:59Speaker 1: one can live there anymore. So if they do that
- 30:01Speaker 1: to the Gulf Coast, Yeah, who's gonna want to go
- 30:05Speaker 1: down there and do this work?
- 30:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be a that would definitely be a
- 30:10Speaker 3: would say a barrier, Uh, you know from a from
- 30:13Speaker 3: a logistical standpoint, you know, if you're killed and if
- 30:16Speaker 3: you're moving everyone, then that's a lot of money to spend.
- 30:20Speaker 3: And if you're just killing everybody, then uh, who is
- 30:25Speaker 3: going to work there and buy stuff? And yeah, it
- 30:31Speaker 3: just doesn't make really any sense on any level.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And then there's the flip side of that, which is depopulate,
- 30:38Speaker 1: meaning we're going to encourage people to move so we
- 30:42Speaker 1: can build more oil capacity down here. And it does
- 30:46Speaker 1: seem like BP is sort of at least at the
- 30:50Speaker 1: time this was happening, it did have some designs on that.
- 30:53Speaker 1: But I know this sounds weird, but one of my
- 30:57Speaker 1: thoughts was, yeah, I'd kind of want to move too.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Well, this is this is what I was thinking about
- 31:02Speaker 3: also watching this, is that Yeah, there's gonna be sea
- 31:08Speaker 3: levels rising soon. Yeah, it's coming, yes, And this everything
- 31:13Speaker 3: that they've talked about as obsidy is especially the I
- 31:16Speaker 3: mean from the government side, like they bring in FEMA,
- 31:19Speaker 3: which is like a favorite of Alex Jones and all
- 31:20Speaker 3: a bunch of these of course, and like, of course,
- 31:23Speaker 3: like FEMA, that's the thing that FEMA needs to plan for.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I would be alarmed if FEMA wasn't planning for how
- 31:30Speaker 3: to deal with a bunch of people, like a bunch
- 31:33Speaker 3: of Americans moving north on Mass and move north and
- 31:38Speaker 3: you know, into the center on Mass because that's gonna
- 31:42Speaker 3: be a huge crisis soon. It's going to be a
- 31:45Speaker 3: huge crisis within our lifetimes.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah, anytime you see a projection of what global warming
- 31:52Speaker 1: is going to do people at home theater of the mind,
- 31:55Speaker 1: what does it look like? It's water just moving further
- 32:00Speaker 1: ashore in the United States, and people in the Gulf
- 32:03Speaker 1: Coast region are going to be especially susceptible to that.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and people there know it. But also but this
- 32:09Speaker 3: is again, this is why, especially in twenty ten, this
- 32:13Speaker 3: is the very you know, if this, if anything that
- 32:16Speaker 3: Alex Jones says is happening is happening, which is always questionable,
- 32:19Speaker 3: but you know, these would be your early stages of
- 32:22Speaker 3: a process that is going to last until those places
- 32:26Speaker 3: are literally uninhabitable, and even afterwards, because people are still
- 32:29Speaker 3: going to live there even when they're uninhabitable, because people
- 32:32Speaker 3: live everywhere. But it's you know, the only people who
- 32:36Speaker 3: even at this point can really do it are the
- 32:38Speaker 3: people who can afford to move. I mean it seems obvious,
- 32:43Speaker 3: but like that's a small percentage of people.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, uprooting your life and going somewhere else isn't easy. Yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: Like what Like one of the things you see in
- 32:53Speaker 1: any of these hurricane situations is there are people who
- 32:57Speaker 1: are like, well, why didn't why don't they just go somewhere? Yea,
- 33:00Speaker 1: why I don't, Like, why wouldn't people just get like
- 33:02Speaker 1: how Like? Yeah, in some cases, you're talking people who
- 33:06Speaker 1: probably haven't left their fucking neighborhoods in like fifteen years,
- 33:11Speaker 1: and you what want them to jump in their suv
- 33:13Speaker 1: and go to the fucking lake house in northern Louisiana,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Like right, it's gonna fucking happen.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing. Have you seen the movie Reminiscence
- 33:25Speaker 3: with You Jackman came out this year?
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yes, but I didn't pay much attention because I didn't
- 33:30Speaker 1: like it.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean it's an okay movie. But it
- 33:33Speaker 3: does have a great setting, which is Miami in like
- 33:38Speaker 3: forty years and people are still living there even though
- 33:42Speaker 3: most of the city is underwater, because you know, like
- 33:45Speaker 3: we're saying, people are just gonna stay no matter what.
- 33:49Speaker 3: There's always gonna be people who live in those situations. Yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 3: it's just it's wild that these are the tangency you
- 33:55Speaker 3: can go on from this, but like they are like, oh,
- 34:00Speaker 3: they're just gonna like round everybody up and kill them,
- 34:02Speaker 3: and you know they're gonna, you know, turn this into
- 34:05Speaker 3: I guess waste product or something I don't know, and
- 34:08Speaker 3: it just Alex Jones kind of just spirals off into madness.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And I really take exception to Jesse Ventura describing this
- 34:18Speaker 1: insidious plot as corporations wanting to take out disposables like us,
- 34:25Speaker 1: and it's like, motherfucker, you know, damn well, this if
- 34:30Speaker 1: this conspiracy was exactly what you say it is, it's
- 34:34Speaker 1: not targeted at you, yeah, and it's not targeted at
- 34:37Speaker 1: the people watching this show. It's targeted at people that
- 34:41Speaker 1: will come to terms with it half happening and being like, well,
- 34:45Speaker 1: you know they could have moved.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Right well, and you know, and disposables in that sense,
- 34:51Speaker 3: it doesn't mean people that the corporation would like want
- 34:56Speaker 3: to try to get rid of it just because you know,
- 34:59Speaker 3: they don't care, just gonna do what they want, right,
- 35:02Speaker 3: regardless of how it impacts anyone's life.
- 35:05Speaker 1: And so next Jesse meets with one of the most
- 35:09Speaker 1: baffling characters in this whole episode. Yeah, it's an attorney
- 35:16Speaker 1: named Alfred Webrey, and he backs up Alex Jones claim.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So I guess that's all true, But he adds the
- 35:25Speaker 1: twist that Hurricane Katrina was just a dry run for
- 35:30Speaker 1: when they really clear people out of the Gulf coast.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Yeah, these are the FEMA camp he's responding to. This
- 35:37Speaker 3: is the FEMA camp, the.
- 35:38Speaker 1: FEMA camps, right, Yeah, And he claims Barack Obama has
- 35:43Speaker 1: been a CIA asset since his early twenties, which fuck,
- 35:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Maybe, I mean maybe, but also he's not a very
- 35:54Speaker 3: effective one. I don't know what are they getting from that?
- 35:57Speaker 3: Why would you make a CIA agent the the president
- 36:00Speaker 3: and then make him I just still understand that at all.
- 36:04Speaker 1: So that's that sets the scene for a truly baffling
- 36:09Speaker 1: quote from this guy, which I don't know if they
- 36:11Speaker 1: edited pieces of things he said together, but he says
- 36:16Speaker 1: Barack Obama is a Manchurian candidate. George W. Bush is
- 36:19Speaker 1: a Manchurian candidate, and that's why you have the BP
- 36:22Speaker 1: oil spill. What.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know, but like Jesse's like absolutely for
- 36:28Speaker 3: sure that that sounds.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Right, makes sense, and then then this leads Jesse to
- 36:34Speaker 1: a shocking conclusion that he's somehow just coming to in
- 36:38Speaker 1: the year twenty ten, which is what we're seeing here
- 36:41Speaker 1: is the corporate takeover of our government. It's like, yeah, man,
- 36:45Speaker 1: since like the eighties.
- 36:46Speaker 3: At least again tail is old as time.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that is that is the American way.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, this. I did not like this sigma that
- 36:56Speaker 3: basically after Alex Jones popped up it it derails into
- 37:00Speaker 3: town and none of it really. When he brought up
- 37:03Speaker 3: Barack Obama, I was like Jesus Christ. I mean, obviously
- 37:06Speaker 3: it's twenty ten, so it's slightly more relevant because he's
- 37:09Speaker 3: the president. But here's the thing, only slightly, because it's
- 37:12Speaker 3: not like he was some great change.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I also like that. I like his many ice age
- 37:18Speaker 1: theory that oh yeah, oil companies are trying to cause
- 37:21Speaker 1: an ice age because then they're going to sell so
- 37:24Speaker 1: much oil for heating. And it's like, not if two
- 37:27Speaker 1: thirds of the world's population is dead and everyone's poor,
- 37:31Speaker 1: like we will just steal that oil at some point.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Also, I mean, I let's just say he has what
- 37:39Speaker 3: I might call a tenuous grasp on like geology and
- 37:44Speaker 3: glaciation and like how ice ages work in general. It's
- 37:49Speaker 3: kind of a day Day after Tomorrow based theory.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Jesse described him as an expert Olivia.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Oh no, that is true. I respect he's an expert
- 38:00Speaker 3: in something, but it's not this.
- 38:04Speaker 1: An expert getting his way onto true TV shows.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know what, and then he's got such
- 38:10Speaker 3: screen presence, I can see why they got him.
- 38:14Speaker 1: So now Daniel the skeptic has apparently had a change
- 38:17Speaker 1: of heart and he believes all this now, and he
- 38:19Speaker 1: calls Jesse with an urgent memo because he has tracked
- 38:23Speaker 1: down an army Corps of engineer's plan to depopulate the
- 38:29Speaker 1: Gulf coast. And so Jesse goes and meets with his
- 38:35Speaker 1: doctor named si Rees and her there's like a PR
- 38:40Speaker 1: guy with her, and apparently they did not know Jesse
- 38:44Speaker 1: Ventura was the one coming to interview then, because this
- 38:47Speaker 1: PR guy is like, okay, yeah, when you were walking up,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I was like, I think that's Jesse Ventura.
- 38:54Speaker 3: That's one of the few times where like someone is
- 38:57Speaker 3: legitimately like surprised by his celebrity, you know what I mean.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Like there's very little of that on the show, and it.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Almost leads me to believe that these two either are
- 39:09Speaker 1: telling the truth or just don't. If there is something
- 39:12Speaker 1: evil happening, they're not privy to it because Jesse Venture
- 39:16Speaker 1: showing up it seems like it makes their fucking day.
- 39:19Speaker 3: No, absolutely, And honestly, I feel this way about a
- 39:22Speaker 3: lot of these kind of lackeys that they deal with
- 39:25Speaker 3: in this episode. For want of a better term, I mean,
- 39:29Speaker 3: you know, low enough on the corporate chain that they
- 39:31Speaker 3: got thrown out to Jesse Ventura. But like, I just
- 39:34Speaker 3: was like, I bet that none of these people know
- 39:38Speaker 3: or have any reason to believe that the company that
- 39:40Speaker 3: they worked for was into weird shit. Like I get that.
- 39:44Speaker 3: That doesn't make that doesn't ping any bills for me.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And she's being perfectly honest with him, Like right off
- 39:52Speaker 1: the bat, he asked what's going on here, and she's like, well,
- 39:55Speaker 1: we have a comprehensive plan in place to relocate people
- 39:58Speaker 1: away from Golf Coast and Jesse's like, well, I have
- 40:02Speaker 1: a document here that says you're planning to depopulate the
- 40:05Speaker 1: Gulf Coast And it's like, yeah, man, she just said that.
- 40:08Speaker 3: Isn't it literally what she just said?
- 40:12Speaker 1: And like, I don't know, I don't I don't necessarily
- 40:16Speaker 1: trust a plan like that. Oh no, I don't doubt
- 40:19Speaker 1: that the government would step in in an eminent domain
- 40:23Speaker 1: sort of way at some point.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Like there is there's a huge difference between I
- 40:30Speaker 3: absolutely believe a plan like this to be to exist
- 40:34Speaker 3: because there will need large entities like BP or the
- 40:39Speaker 3: government will need to have plans for something like that
- 40:43Speaker 3: because it's going to be a huge undertaking. But also,
- 40:47Speaker 3: you know, there's a big disease between that and thinking like, oh,
- 40:49Speaker 3: but that means that they're gonna like this is evil,
- 40:52Speaker 3: like this is all like a conspiracy.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I still maintain that just murdering everyone would be
- 40:58Speaker 1: a very if nothing, also very cost in effective. Yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 1: way to do it. But I mean that they could
- 41:04Speaker 1: make all that money off cleaning up the bodies you
- 41:07Speaker 1: just buy like sunshine cleaning.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing. None of this is going to
- 41:12Speaker 3: be cheap and like there, so I just think that
- 41:16Speaker 3: that that just keeps getting left out of the equation.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Weirdly enough, for how much of this episode talks about
- 41:22Speaker 3: like profits that the company would save if they just
- 41:26Speaker 3: let the oil spill happen and all of that, like
- 41:29Speaker 3: there's very little thought about like, oh, well, it doesn't
- 41:33Speaker 3: really make sense because this would cost a lot of
- 41:35Speaker 3: money and they wouldn't really make anything back from it,
- 41:38Speaker 3: and it seems like it's just kind of like a
- 41:40Speaker 3: preparedness thing. I mean, there's no forward thinking here. And
- 41:44Speaker 3: a lot of that's because of Alex Jones, and a
- 41:47Speaker 3: lot of it's because Jesse's a capitalist libertarian. So you know,
- 41:51Speaker 3: some of these days you just can't conceive.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Of Yeah, I mean, I again, I believe most of
- 41:57Speaker 1: the things that are suggested in the episode probably happened,
- 42:01Speaker 1: and like that's again, that's what Halliburton does. They they
- 42:06Speaker 1: cash in on a tragedy. I just I just feel
- 42:09Speaker 1: like there's not enough compelling evidence to suggest that BP
- 42:14Speaker 1: is going to murder the entire Gulf Coast yea, so
- 42:17Speaker 1: they can get more oil.
- 42:19Speaker 3: I mean I would doubt that one.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Yes, Like if we were talking like Gulf Coast somewhere
- 42:23Speaker 1: in the Middle East, sure.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, absolutely that place is gone. What are you
- 42:28Speaker 3: talking about?
- 42:29Speaker 1: Are there are there any spots left for them to
- 42:31Speaker 1: do that doesn't exist?
- 42:32Speaker 3: They're all dead. I mean, I don't want to I'm
- 42:35Speaker 3: sure that people are actually putting up a good fight.
- 42:37Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, so I guess that makes a decent
- 42:40Speaker 1: segue into what we're talking about next week, which is
- 42:43Speaker 1: nine to eleven baby, but that specifically the Pentagon. Yeah,
- 42:49Speaker 1: I wonder.
- 42:50Speaker 3: If this one is the one that got because I
- 42:53Speaker 3: don't know. I've got theories.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there there's a there's a theory suggested in that
- 42:58Speaker 1: one that I've always found very very very very compelling.
- 43:03Speaker 1: But we'll get to it until then. That's that's that's
- 43:07Speaker 1: it for the BP oil spill. We did.
- 43:10Speaker 3: This happened, so it happened eleven years ago. It was
- 43:14Speaker 3: a huge disaster that, like many of the huge disasters
- 43:17Speaker 3: that we've experienced in the last fifteen or so more years,
- 43:22Speaker 3: we just can't recogoni with because it's too large. You know,
- 43:25Speaker 3: we're just gonna constantly be reaping the punishment of this
- 43:30Speaker 3: for decades.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I mean, unless you like have a financial interest in
- 43:36Speaker 1: Halliburton or something, in which case you'll know we're still
- 43:39Speaker 1: making money off of this.
- 43:42Speaker 3: When I say us, I mean the people who listen
- 43:45Speaker 3: to this podcast, and you and I I don't mean,
- 43:48Speaker 3: you know, no offense to any of our listeners, but
- 43:50Speaker 3: I'm doubting any of them are billionaires.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so you think no one from Haliburton, Okay, you think?
- 43:56Speaker 3: I mean, if anyone from Halliburton listens to this podcast,
- 44:00Speaker 3: feel free to look up my address on whatever company
- 44:03Speaker 3: app that you have that just like, lets you target
- 44:06Speaker 3: some sort of reaper drone kind of random person's out.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I don't know. You're so fucking wealthy, jesus.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Uh so yeah, that's it. That's it. Do we have
- 44:17Speaker 1: anything to plug before we get out of here? Uh?
- 44:20Speaker 3: Not really? Uh? You can find me on Twitter at
- 44:22Speaker 3: high their hidar and the Yeah, you can listen to
- 44:25Speaker 3: me on this show.
- 44:27Speaker 1: I don't I don't have anything. Apparently, ratings are thing
- 44:33Speaker 1: on Spotify now, okay, so I guess go out and
- 44:37Speaker 1: give us a good rating before the people who yeah
- 44:40Speaker 1: are mad that we don't believe the sandy hook theory
- 44:43Speaker 1: figure out that there are ratings and drive us into
- 44:46Speaker 1: the ground that happened on Apple. But who's here's the.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Thing, Jesus, I don't care. Fuck them. Yeah, maybe go
- 44:54Speaker 3: and rate us and then we'll show up on your
- 44:57Speaker 3: Spotify wrapped next year. That'd be cool.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that would be nice. Everyone will think you're alone.
- 45:04Speaker 1: You got to conspiracy, the show, and your Spotify wrapped.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Absolutely uh and that's it.
- 45:10Speaker 1: That's all I got. Uh. Let's get out of here.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Olivia say goodbye bye, goodbye everybody. We love you.
