- 0:08Speaker 1: What's up, babes. We are back from Miami. It is
- 0:11Speaker 1: La La Kent and.
- 0:12Speaker 2: The podcast is called Give Them La La with Rain.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Yes that Asia.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Cayse forgot in.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Case you had a really intense labor day weekend and
- 0:22Speaker 1: you just forgot where you are.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Like after sixty ace five episode, you just forgot what
- 0:27Speaker 2: podcasts you're listening to.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I mean in Miami, I saw a lot of people
- 0:30Speaker 1: getting buck wild, So I assume that today is going
- 0:34Speaker 1: to be a recovery day for most people. You know,
- 0:37Speaker 1: it's like Monday was probably a party because it was
- 0:40Speaker 1: like Sunday fun day. Yesterday was like, okay, we're coming
- 0:44Speaker 1: to Wednesday. You're like, all right, I feel great. By Thursday,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you're fucking chilling ready for the weekend again.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Right, I feel like Tuesday, you go to work and
- 0:53Speaker 2: it's a little slow out of the gate. Wednesday, I
- 0:55Speaker 2: feel like everybody's back at it. So people are ready
- 0:57Speaker 2: for our podcast.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You can tell that you don't and you're not like
- 1:00Speaker 1: a seasoned drinker, because I'm a seasoned drinker or I was,
- 1:05Speaker 1: so I know the drill. I know the of course,
- 1:08Speaker 1: of course, you know, going into a long weekend that
- 1:11Speaker 1: Monday is going to be you know, it's a labor day.
- 1:15Speaker 1: We're fucking kicking it, we're drinking. Tuesday is going to
- 1:18Speaker 1: be rough, but you're gonna get a good night's sleep. Wednesday,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you're going to start feeling a little bit normally.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Here's a thing. Here's the thing. I was a seasoned
- 1:25Speaker 2: drinker and go out person. But now I'm fifty, so
- 1:28Speaker 2: I'm not at the same level I used to be.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But I promise you back in my twenties and even
- 1:33Speaker 2: into my thirties, I was blending days together. Of course,
- 1:38Speaker 2: But here's the thing. It was labor Day. Everybody was
- 1:40Speaker 2: out there living their best life. God bless everybody. Hope
- 1:42Speaker 2: everybody was safe. And now we're back here in the
- 1:45Speaker 2: studio recording and talking about your labor day. Because your
- 1:49Speaker 2: labor day is different than everybody else. It's your labor day.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Is also your birthday.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Yes, my birthday usually falls on Labor Day weekend.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Correct.
- 1:57Speaker 1: It was amazing. Tell me why, well, I just feel
- 2:02Speaker 1: like I went into my birthday with no expectations. I
- 2:06Speaker 1: was like, you know what, I'm just going to roll
- 2:08Speaker 1: with it because I'm a control free true and I
- 2:11Speaker 1: kind of just let you control everything. Like wherever Randall
- 2:14Speaker 1: says we're going, I'm not going to deny the club.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm going to give them the club. And I just like,
- 2:20Speaker 1: I had the best time ever. I got to hang
- 2:21Speaker 1: out with Ocean. She went into the ocean for the
- 2:24Speaker 1: first time.
- 2:25Speaker 2: That was awesome. Yes, she that was probably the highlight
- 2:27Speaker 2: world for me.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I also think that that was the best day
- 2:32Speaker 1: I do.
- 2:33Speaker 2: So, so let me just rewind the tape for people.
- 2:36Speaker 2: So it was your birthday and Laala, you know, wants
- 2:39Speaker 2: things generally to be her way, meaning she lets be
- 2:43Speaker 2: kind of run. Oh, here's the idea. But once she
- 2:46Speaker 2: signs off on it, we have to come to stick
- 2:47Speaker 2: to the program because if we don't stick to the program.
- 2:50Speaker 2: While I'll tell people what.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Happens, I am very high strung, so I spiral right
- 2:57Speaker 1: very quickly.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Which is not a good day for anybody. So I
- 3:00Speaker 2: said to you before we went on this trip, I said,
- 3:03Speaker 2: it's it's you, me and Ocean. It's your birthday. We're
- 3:07Speaker 2: bringing Jackson, Brittany, and we're bringing Logan and Leo.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You guys husbands.
- 3:12Speaker 3: And I just asked her.
- 3:13Speaker 2: For one commitment for the whole weekend and other than that,
- 3:16Speaker 2: I said, we're just gonna wing it and see how
- 3:18Speaker 2: you feel. And I said, we're gonna go to a
- 3:20Speaker 2: great birthday dinner. And then our friend David Grutman, who
- 3:23Speaker 2: owns a night club called Live, He's gonna set us
- 3:25Speaker 2: up and we're going to go there.
- 3:26Speaker 3: That was it.
- 3:27Speaker 2: That's and you said, I'm in that. That's that's it.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I don't want any other plans. And what's crazy is
- 3:33Speaker 2: usually that is all you'll give. It'll be Lalla appearance
- 3:36Speaker 2: one and we don't see you other than we're watching
- 3:39Speaker 2: housewives and maybe on the beach. But you were full
- 3:43Speaker 2: throttle this weekend. I actually had to call I had
- 3:47Speaker 2: to tap out. That's how much energy and how what
- 3:49Speaker 2: a great mood you were. Just like, we went to dinner,
- 3:52Speaker 2: we went to Live, we celebrate your birthday, which was
- 3:54Speaker 2: so fun.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Right next day, next day, beach day, next day, beach day.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And what else. That day we had a little boat,
- 4:03Speaker 2: a little boat.
- 4:05Speaker 1: We was on the.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yachtie and then we had a great boat Day, which
- 4:08Speaker 2: nobody was like. I surprised everybodys saying we're going to
- 4:11Speaker 2: go on a boat. And we went on this great.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Boat and Ocean's first time on a yacht.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And Ocean loved it.
- 4:16Speaker 1: She thought it was a little small. She requested a
- 4:18Speaker 1: bigger one for next time.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she wanted a chopp her on the front. Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 2: And then we pressed.
- 4:27Speaker 4: No.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And then we had this great day on the boat
- 4:29Speaker 2: all day and that was fun. And then and then
- 4:30Speaker 2: that night we went to Grubman's new diner which was
- 4:34Speaker 2: really fun called wind No.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But we went to Poppy Steak the night of the yacht.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I don't think so. Yes, Oh, you're right. Actually we
- 4:41Speaker 2: wanted the tape. Friday Friday we went to Winkers Diner. Okay, Saturday.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Anybody who lives in Miami, or if you live in Miami,
- 4:50Speaker 1: you know Boppy Steak if you're visiting, you guys, It's
- 4:53Speaker 1: like the dinner experience of a lifetime. I don't like
- 4:57Speaker 1: going anywhere, but I will say Poppy Steak was one
- 5:01Speaker 1: of the best meals I've ever had. But the environment
- 5:05Speaker 1: was like the music was fired, the decorp It's like
- 5:08Speaker 1: a real experience.
- 5:10Speaker 2: It reminds it's like very almost like very European like
- 5:13Speaker 2: going out and just people are living like the food
- 5:17Speaker 2: is part of the whole experience.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Right, It's like it's a it's like a social experience.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It is, and like it's a very like quaint place,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but they it's a tight place. But everyone is having
- 5:31Speaker 1: the best time. And you're like looking at each other
- 5:33Speaker 1: when your song comes on, and like you don't even
- 5:34Speaker 1: know each other, but because you know all the words
- 5:37Speaker 1: to the same song, you're bonded for life. Because you
- 5:40Speaker 1: both ordered the Pushtrami appetizer, you're bonded far less.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I mean, you know, so our friend Poppy who owns
- 5:47Speaker 2: Poppy Steak. Just quick backstory ten seconds. So Poppy owns
- 5:51Speaker 2: Poppy Steak with David Grutman. They started this great steakhouse together.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And what makes it great is they've got these incredible steaks,
- 5:59Speaker 2: these high end stakes, he's low end stakes, all types
- 6:01Speaker 2: of steaks. Anyway, it's just fun. And when you go there,
- 6:04Speaker 2: you meet Poppy. I've known him forever, but Poppy is
- 6:08Speaker 2: so happy. He comes up to the table.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And he's just like excited about life.
- 6:13Speaker 2: It's basically an extension of his personality this restaurant. When
- 6:16Speaker 2: you say that, when you're there and you're laughing and
- 6:19Speaker 2: you're having all this great time, is it kind of
- 6:21Speaker 2: like who he is.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Yes, I don't like many people. Shocker. There is something
- 6:29Speaker 1: about Poppy that every time I see him, he is
- 6:33Speaker 1: so sweet. He is just excited to be alive. And
- 6:37Speaker 1: now that he has this restaurant, something he's passionate about
- 6:40Speaker 1: like I adore.
- 6:41Speaker 2: But I agree.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And by the way, so now that we've tooted Poppies, wait, wait.
- 6:45Speaker 2: And by the way, we're not even getting paid for it. No,
- 6:48Speaker 2: And I just want to stay on top of that.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Congrats to David Grubman on this restaurant because David, David
- 6:54Speaker 2: met Poppy and decided to open this restaurant for him
- 6:57Speaker 2: and with him. So anyway, great night. You had the
- 7:00Speaker 2: best trip. The bottom line of this whole thing not
- 7:02Speaker 2: to keep going, is that you went on this trip.
- 7:04Speaker 2: There were no plans. We made the plans as we went,
- 7:08Speaker 2: and you couldn't get enough of it. You were having
- 7:09Speaker 2: the time of your life. And our last day, our
- 7:11Speaker 2: last day telling them about it laesday Yesterday was yesterday, No, the.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Day before we left, yesterday. The day before we left,
- 7:20Speaker 1: we took ocean to the beach. I looked at everyone
- 7:23Speaker 1: in their faces and I said, I don't give a
- 7:25Speaker 1: fuck what any of you do. Tomorrow, you will catch
- 7:29Speaker 1: me at nine am at the beach with my baby.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Y'all can join, y'all can stay in your rooms all
- 7:35Speaker 1: day because you're maybe a little hungover. I don't care.
- 7:39Speaker 1: This was what I envisioned in my mind for birthday.
- 7:43Speaker 1: For my birthday, I had it dead set. My birthday
- 7:46Speaker 1: is going to be with my baby and with Miami.
- 7:51Speaker 1: The weather is kind of like it's fickle. If you
- 7:54Speaker 1: wait too long, like two o'clock, three o'clock, those clouds
- 7:57Speaker 1: start moving in. The waves start getting bigger, like you
- 7:59Speaker 1: got to get out there in the morning time because
- 8:01Speaker 1: it's blue skies, like very like the waves are pretty
- 8:04Speaker 1: much in the summer exactly. The waves are minimal. It's
- 8:08Speaker 1: perfect for a baby. By the way, ocean had the
- 8:12Speaker 1: best time in the ocean. And I was worried. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: was like, if this baby doesn't like the ocean, we
- 8:17Speaker 1: really screwed her on her.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Name, Like, but you know what, I'm a water baby,
- 8:22Speaker 2: you know that, And so I wasn't worried. I definitely
- 8:25Speaker 2: wasn't worried. She had a smile on her face since
- 8:28Speaker 2: the minute she saw the ocean to the minute she
- 8:30Speaker 2: was in the Ocean every day.
- 8:32Speaker 3: She had the time of her life.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And she was awesome on the plane for those moms
- 8:36Speaker 1: who travel with their children, and like I used to
- 8:40Speaker 1: be one of those women that would hear babies and
- 8:42Speaker 1: I'm like, can this person shut their cut off blues?
- 8:45Speaker 1: And now like empathy, now I'm like all about poor mom.
- 8:48Speaker 1: But Ocean really did like she was great. It was
- 8:52Speaker 1: just great. Like she does this thing now though, where
- 8:55Speaker 1: she's discovered her voice and she wants to hear it
- 8:58Speaker 1: all the time, and she thinks the loud the pitch,
- 9:01Speaker 1: the more she's sang. And I felt so bad for
- 9:04Speaker 1: everybody because she was squealing over and over again. But
- 9:08Speaker 1: you could tell, like I would look around at the
- 9:09Speaker 1: flight attendants who thought it was really cute. But then
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'd look at like these boys that were just like
- 9:15Speaker 1: there for Labor Day with their other boys, and they
- 9:17Speaker 1: wanted her to like maybe stop, but I couldn't control it.
- 9:20Speaker 2: The only the only good thing is she wasn't It
- 9:22Speaker 2: wasn't like she was crying or yalling or screaming. She
- 9:25Speaker 2: was literally trying to communicate that she's like like.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So excited, cuter than that it was cute.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Well, obviously I can't do what she does.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I know no one can. And she was letting everyone know,
- 9:38Speaker 1: like I just went to Miami and swam in the ocean.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Yeah she was.
- 9:41Speaker 1: She was telling everybody that she saw the little fishies
- 9:44Speaker 1: in the sea.
- 9:45Speaker 2: She had the time of her life.
- 9:46Speaker 1: She really did. It was epics. Thank you, Randall, I
- 9:48Speaker 1: meant for giving me another fabulous birthday.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I think this one. You know, we've done a lot
- 9:53Speaker 2: of special things for your birthday, you know, whether it
- 9:56Speaker 2: be vague it's her cabo, or different different really cool trips.
- 9:59Speaker 2: But I will tell you that this was the simplest
- 10:02Speaker 2: trip we did with the with the least amount of plans,
- 10:06Speaker 2: and I think it was the best one of them
- 10:07Speaker 2: all because it was just we were with ocean and
- 10:09Speaker 2: we were just having the best time. We weren't really
- 10:12Speaker 2: overthinking things or And even for me, who thinks ten
- 10:16Speaker 2: steps ahead every minute and doesn't really sit in the moment,
- 10:20Speaker 2: I forced myself to sit in the moment.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I enjoyed you that day. That was our most favorite
- 10:24Speaker 1: day on the beach with Oh, I've never seen you
- 10:28Speaker 1: so in the moment ever.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I really really I didn't want to miss anything
- 10:32Speaker 2: with ocean.
- 10:33Speaker 1: You know, like I fell even harder for you that day,
- 10:36Speaker 1: Really I did, and.
- 10:38Speaker 2: You already fell hard as fuck. That's fucking tough. No,
- 10:43Speaker 2: I feel like we both really had kind of like
- 10:45Speaker 2: a you know, I think people don't realize that when
- 10:47Speaker 2: you've been together, you know a long time, you know,
- 10:49Speaker 2: whether it be thirty years, five years like us, or
- 10:52Speaker 2: a year even, you know, sometimes you can get into
- 10:55Speaker 2: a pattern. I think that sometimes, like when we do
- 10:57Speaker 2: things like this, it just kind of really reconnects us definitely.
- 11:01Speaker 2: So today you're excited because you are bringing I'm.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Always excited when we podcast. Have you noticed it's like
- 11:07Speaker 1: the theme of the podcast is today I'm really excited.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It should be the I'm Excited podcast with Lala and Rand.
- 11:13Speaker 2: You're right, but today you're I think you're You're yes,
- 11:17Speaker 2: you're always excited, but today we have you have asked
- 11:20Speaker 2: which I didn't know you asked my assistant and you're assistant, Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 2: to come on and be on the next segment, and
- 11:27Speaker 2: we have questions for them.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, we did a poll on it. We did a
- 11:31Speaker 1: poll on Instagram and we had all of like, we
- 11:34Speaker 1: got so like pages of questions.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So make sure that shit there's like fifty questions here.
- 11:42Speaker 1: No, there's a lot.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Okay, there's a lot, right, so we better we and.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Wow, we're neck and neck for the poll. So when
- 11:48Speaker 1: we get.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Back, what is the poll? What does it even say?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Hey, next segment, we're going to take a quick break.
- 11:54Speaker 1: We'll be right back with my assistant, Jess and Randall's
- 11:56Speaker 1: assistant Anna. We are back with Anna and Jess. The
- 12:06Speaker 1: women behind were crazy.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So we have Anna, my assistant, and we
- 12:14Speaker 2: have Chess Lala's assistant. This is I didn't know you
- 12:18Speaker 2: two were coming on. So this is I wasn't really
- 12:20Speaker 2: prepared for this, but I see that you guys prepped
- 12:23Speaker 2: all morning. Did not tell me put on in?
- 12:26Speaker 1: So I did. I did tell him, it's just heard,
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yes I did.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Why did you tell me?
- 12:30Speaker 1: I told you last week? I said we're coming back
- 12:33Speaker 1: from Miami and because we can't get a guest in time,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I told.
- 12:36Speaker 2: You you do give Miami something. Last week, oh, last week
- 12:39Speaker 2: before my even when I was planning your birthday. Okay,
- 12:42Speaker 2: moving on, Okay, that's like not telling you.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That's like, that's like there's never a good time to
- 12:46Speaker 1: tell Randall because he's always so busy, so you just
- 12:48Speaker 1: have to just tell him things because he can't remember.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's his own issue.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But here's the great news questions in front of me,
- 12:53Speaker 2: and you did Instagram.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Pollst okay, so I did an Instagram ball go ahead,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and I said, who do you think is easier to
- 13:01Speaker 1: work for? Lala or rand? I got fifty three percent
- 13:06Speaker 1: think I'm easier to work for and forty seven percent
- 13:09Speaker 1: I think you're easier to work for. What do you
- 13:12Speaker 1: guys think, Anna and Jess, who do you think is
- 13:14Speaker 1: easier to work for?
- 13:16Speaker 5: I think that Laala is easier to work for?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Because oh, I agree, I see what. Oh listen your
- 13:28Speaker 1: other assistant.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Okayay, because bonus time is coming and we'll see which
- 13:31Speaker 2: bonus is easier to pay.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Or it's going to for. She already got a bonus.
- 13:36Speaker 1: She got a Gucci bag. Have you got a Gucci bag?
- 13:38Speaker 2: I did well. Her bonus is like five Gucci bags.
- 13:41Speaker 1: But okay, well maybe hers will be. That was just
- 13:43Speaker 1: a gift. She's been here for three months.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Love's and she's only been on the job three months.
- 13:49Speaker 2: She was an intern first.
- 13:50Speaker 1: That's it. That's it. My bonus is going to be
- 13:52Speaker 1: way bigger than Randall's. Oh I love this.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Look at the face Locke. Don't bullshit people.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I'm a winner.
- 13:58Speaker 3: First of all. First of all.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Anna, The reason Anna is getting a big bonus is
- 14:03Speaker 2: that we're starting a very big project and she was
- 14:08Speaker 2: part of helping that project.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So that's why I always say, by the way, congrats Anna,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and to rand about your big stuff happening. But I
- 14:17Speaker 1: always say, if you want to get the job done,
- 14:19Speaker 1: you have to have a female. No offense, Sean, but
- 14:22Speaker 1: you got to have a woman.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I mean I agree.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I think that working for anybody, having been an assistant
- 14:34Speaker 2: myself for a long time, for many people at a
- 14:38Speaker 2: talent agency, for an actor, for different people, is a
- 14:41Speaker 2: very brutal job. And I think it's hard because you're
- 14:44Speaker 2: living the personality of that person. If they're in a
- 14:46Speaker 2: good mood, you're going to be in a good mood.
- 14:48Speaker 2: If they're having a rough day or a tough business day,
- 14:51Speaker 2: you're going to feel those ripple effects. So I take
- 14:54Speaker 2: my hat off to any assistant that works for anybody,
- 14:57Speaker 2: because it's not easy. It's long hours, it's hours that
- 15:00Speaker 2: are sometimes you know, longer than you expect or, or
- 15:04Speaker 2: on the weekend, you get a phone call and you
- 15:06Speaker 2: got to go run and do something, so I take
- 15:09Speaker 2: my hat off. The converse of that is if you
- 15:11Speaker 2: want to work in an industry and you one of
- 15:14Speaker 2: the best ways to learn things is working for somebody
- 15:17Speaker 2: who's doing it so that you can see, oh my god,
- 15:21Speaker 2: this is what I really want to do, or this
- 15:23Speaker 2: is not what I want to do, and I'll find
- 15:24Speaker 2: a different place for myself in the business. Because just
- 15:28Speaker 2: so you know, I had jobs as an assistant in
- 15:31Speaker 2: different facets that I ended up realizing I don't want
- 15:34Speaker 2: to do that job, and that's how it got me
- 15:35Speaker 2: to producing movies. Ultimately.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Wow, Yeah, I've never been an assistant, but I do
- 15:41Speaker 1: know that whoever works for me, their job is to
- 15:46Speaker 1: just do their job. My job is to connect and
- 15:50Speaker 1: create a healthy, happy work environment for that person, if
- 15:56Speaker 1: that makes sense. Do I do that for you? Jess?
- 15:58Speaker 5: You do?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Laala?
- 15:59Speaker 6: You have.
- 16:00Speaker 5: I feel like I've.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Worked in one of the best.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That's Randall's kissing at where it hurts, That hurts, That hurts.
- 16:07Speaker 5: There's a difference between being an ass kisser and just
- 16:10Speaker 5: being in someone's corner. And I'm in your corner all
- 16:13Speaker 5: the way, I agree because you're a great book.
- 16:15Speaker 2: By the way, I agree with that. I agree with
- 16:18Speaker 2: being a corner. You are also a phenomenal ask kisser.
- 16:21Speaker 2: But you but I only can make fun of you
- 16:25Speaker 2: because you do your job and you do it phenomenally well.
- 16:27Speaker 2: And I was there to interview you and Low I'm
- 16:30Speaker 2: just going to backstory, backchannel this story a while. People
- 16:32Speaker 2: don't know this when Laala, when I decided because Laa
- 16:37Speaker 2: had no interest to having an assistance, so let's just
- 16:39Speaker 2: put it out there.
- 16:40Speaker 3: That is a fact.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought my assistant would get bored.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Okay, not only do you have already had forty meltdowns
- 16:45Speaker 2: before we interviewed in Laalas And I said, Laala, I
- 16:48Speaker 2: need you to do me a favor.
- 16:49Speaker 3: You're calling me every thirty.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Five seconds just for support or to run ideas because
- 16:55Speaker 2: we're a team, her and I and you know, we
- 16:56Speaker 2: bounce ideas of each other.
- 16:57Speaker 3: But then she was also calling my assistance to do things.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And finally, I really look around one day and there's
- 17:02Speaker 2: no assistance in the office because they're running for laws.
- 17:04Speaker 2: So I said, I said, hon your company has grown
- 17:08Speaker 2: true story. So aggressively. It's it makes a lot of money.
- 17:12Speaker 2: She does incredibly well. And I just said, you're at
- 17:15Speaker 2: this cross road where you've got four companies. Now it
- 17:18Speaker 2: is time for you to have some help. And she's like,
- 17:20Speaker 2: I don't need help. They're gonna be bored. And I said,
- 17:24Speaker 2: do me a favor, just sit down, let me let
- 17:27Speaker 2: Anne and I prescreen a bunch of people and we
- 17:30Speaker 2: narrowed it down to three, you one of them. And
- 17:33Speaker 2: I remember Lala, like every day before that interview with you,
- 17:36Speaker 2: she was like, they're gonna be bored or this is
- 17:39Speaker 2: a bad idea.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Are your interviewed anyone in my life? I'm like, what
- 17:42Speaker 1: do I even ask them? How do I She's like,
- 17:44Speaker 1: you hire someone that's qualified. I'm like, how the fuck
- 17:46Speaker 1: do I even know if they're qualified? I don't even
- 17:48Speaker 1: know what I need? What is this job? What is
- 17:50Speaker 1: my name? What do I even do?
- 17:52Speaker 4: You know?
- 17:53Speaker 2: You? So we calmed we took you off the ledge
- 17:56Speaker 2: with that, and then you came in and I calmed
- 17:59Speaker 2: you down and I kind of we sat down, and
- 18:01Speaker 2: then Jessica, it was you and two other really really smart,
- 18:06Speaker 2: great candidates, and it was a very tough decision. But
- 18:08Speaker 2: Lala's instinct was to go with you, and we went
- 18:11Speaker 2: hired you. So so here's the here's the funny part,
- 18:14Speaker 2: which is just amazing, and then I'll tell you how
- 18:16Speaker 2: great and how thankful. Of course I am so Lala.
- 18:21Speaker 2: After she decides you're the right person. That was her
- 18:24Speaker 2: instinct from the jump, I tell her.
- 18:26Speaker 3: She said, what what do I pay?
- 18:28Speaker 2: What? And I said, listen, take a deep breath, I'll
- 18:31Speaker 2: talk to you. We worked out a number that you
- 18:34Speaker 2: were good with, and then you said you could start
- 18:37Speaker 2: like after the weekend. It was like a Tuesday or something,
- 18:40Speaker 2: and every day until that day you basically got fired.
- 18:43Speaker 2: You just didn't know it. She kept coming to me going,
- 18:46Speaker 2: this is a bad idea they're gonna have. She was
- 18:49Speaker 2: so worried that you were going to be sitting twiddling
- 18:51Speaker 2: your thumbs. Yeah, every day. And I said, Lala, you
- 18:54Speaker 2: are busy twenty four.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Hours, seven days a week.
- 18:57Speaker 2: And the greatest thing for her is now she's got
- 18:59Speaker 2: somebody to kind of manage and organize. So I said
- 19:02Speaker 2: to her, do me a favor. Stop doing this. I
- 19:04Speaker 2: don't want to talk about it again. When she comes
- 19:06Speaker 2: in on Tuesday, you give it five days if you cannot,
- 19:10Speaker 2: if this just doesn't work, or you feel like you're
- 19:12Speaker 2: looking at the wall fine, which I knew would never happen.
- 19:15Speaker 3: On day three or day.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Two, shit comes in. She goes, oh my god, this
- 19:20Speaker 2: is the best, Like my life is like different, and
- 19:22Speaker 2: now she smiles every day and everything's organized. So I
- 19:25Speaker 2: take my hat off. So even though you are the
- 19:28Speaker 2: best kiss ass or you are, but by the way,
- 19:30Speaker 2: you're a thing, but you're a badass assistant and she's
- 19:34Speaker 2: very lucky to have you and I and I tell
- 19:36Speaker 2: her that because now her schedule like I go through you,
- 19:39Speaker 2: which before i'd say to Lala and the you know
- 19:41Speaker 2: the thing, I'd say, wow, we have to do our
- 19:43Speaker 2: podcast to this day.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Or she would say that, and then she looked at
- 19:46Speaker 3: her upsite.
- 19:47Speaker 2: And now I just call you and you or you
- 19:48Speaker 2: actually call me, or you call Anna and you'll say, Anna,
- 19:51Speaker 2: can Randy do Tuesday at two o'clock? And I'm like, god,
- 19:53Speaker 2: we really are working on no for here.
- 19:55Speaker 1: We're so organized, like between Jess and Anna because they
- 19:58Speaker 1: communicate for randon, I.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Yeah, for our schedules, but for our work stuff.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but everything is so on point.
- 20:04Speaker 2: We don't miss anything.
- 20:05Speaker 1: No, we don't skip a beat.
- 20:06Speaker 2: So let's talk about Anna now that we blew Jesco up.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So I like that idea. I love that.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Right. So, so Anna started as an intern in the company.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Anna came from where where did you move here from?
- 20:20Speaker 1: From Poland?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Right?
- 20:22Speaker 3: And so you and you wanted you came here because
- 20:23Speaker 3: you want to.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Go to film school? Correct? And there wasn't you went
- 20:26Speaker 2: to university over there?
- 20:28Speaker 4: Or I came to study and here. I studied in
- 20:31Speaker 4: New York Film Academy, and then I got an internship
- 20:33Speaker 4: in the York.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Company, in this company.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:36Speaker 2: So, so Anna came over from there to go to
- 20:39Speaker 2: school at a great film school here in Los Angeles,
- 20:42Speaker 2: which is very tough to get into. I went to
- 20:44Speaker 2: film school as well in New York. So I know
- 20:46Speaker 2: all about New York Film Academy. I've spoken there.
- 20:48Speaker 3: It's a it's a great, great school, very.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Hands on, you know. So if you know, if you
- 20:53Speaker 2: ever want to go to film school and you want
- 20:54Speaker 2: a real intensive program, that's kind of where you go.
- 20:57Speaker 2: She came here, she in turned. She was very quiet.
- 21:00Speaker 2: She's very quiet.
- 21:01Speaker 1: She's still very quiet, but I call it her her swag.
- 21:03Speaker 1: She's a terminator though, oh no, she does not.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I didn't know that because you know, we were I
- 21:10Speaker 2: was on the traveling and making movies and she was
- 21:12Speaker 2: here kind of learning the ropes here. And then one
- 21:14Speaker 2: day I said, why don't you try How did that happen?
- 21:18Speaker 2: I said, why don't you try being helping out?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Or was it like that, or well you offered me
- 21:23Speaker 4: Lalas as a sumposition.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Well, because I was obsessed with Anna, and I was like,
- 21:28Speaker 1: just give her to me.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Oh is that? Yes?
- 21:31Speaker 1: It was like maybe for you, right, so, and it's
- 21:34Speaker 1: like I have I have no desire to work for
- 21:37Speaker 1: a tea reality teach personality or deal with makeup. Thanks
- 21:42Speaker 1: for playing.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Anna wants to be in films. So when
- 21:46Speaker 2: people like go to film school, they specifically want to
- 21:48Speaker 2: work in a production company or whatever, which.
- 21:49Speaker 3: I told you, so what she said that to me?
- 21:51Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, that's interesting.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And at the time I wasn't hiring, and that's why
- 21:56Speaker 2: I never had the conversation with you. But then Sean,
- 22:00Speaker 2: our assistant who's being promoted now, was transitioning out. And
- 22:04Speaker 2: when that moment came, I said, to you Okay, why
- 22:07Speaker 2: don't you try it? And Anna didn't have any experience
- 22:10Speaker 2: in the business at all, and the first week in
- 22:13Speaker 2: I was like, oh, yeah, this is rock star. So
- 22:18Speaker 2: Anna is running game in this office all day, like
- 22:21Speaker 2: you cannot put anything past Anna. Anna's the gatekeeper here.
- 22:25Speaker 2: So I'm very very appreciative of having you. I'll never
- 22:28Speaker 2: say that again, but no, Anna, I'll tell you the
- 22:34Speaker 2: big moment for Anna that came true story. We were
- 22:37Speaker 2: putting together a very large packet for a project here
- 22:41Speaker 2: in the company, and this packet took dozens I mean
- 22:46Speaker 2: I can't days and days, dozens of hours. I was
- 22:49Speaker 2: out of town on a film, and our other head
- 22:52Speaker 2: of our company, Steve, and Anna, we're working on it.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Anna had working on it by herself for a while
- 22:57Speaker 2: and then Steve came in and helped and they did
- 22:59Speaker 2: it together five days straight.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Anna was here so night doing every detail.
- 23:05Speaker 2: And when I saw that, I was like, you know what,
- 23:07Speaker 2: the fact that I can be on a film and
- 23:09Speaker 2: she could be running a big deal like that shows
- 23:11Speaker 2: me the future of where she's going to be in
- 23:13Speaker 2: the company.
- 23:14Speaker 1: So we're going to be putting packets together as well soon.
- 23:18Speaker 1: The packet.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Well when you guys got to go like present the
- 23:23Speaker 2: company to Walmart or Target, you're gonna have to put
- 23:25Speaker 2: together a big deal.
- 23:26Speaker 1: You will be packeting, all right.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So I have a list of questions law that you
- 23:32Speaker 2: brought Anne and Jessica brought in.
- 23:34Speaker 1: These are from Instagram followers we took like we did
- 23:38Speaker 1: a little whatever what's called a poll, A little questions.
- 23:41Speaker 2: So these are for you guys, and then you guys
- 23:44Speaker 2: will answer each of these.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Questions and feel free to expand on things too.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Here we go first for you, Jessica, what does Lala
- 23:54Speaker 2: not have patience with?
- 23:55Speaker 5: Lala doesn't have patients with people who just don't simply
- 24:00Speaker 5: do their job. If you do your job, you'll be
- 24:03Speaker 5: in Lalla's best graces. But don't do your job, and
- 24:06Speaker 5: Lala doesn't have the patience for it.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I would say that, yeah, that's very correct, and I
- 24:10Speaker 1: remember what I ask. So if I say to you, oh,
- 24:14Speaker 1: by the way, for example, I remember last week I
- 24:18Speaker 1: said we should number these microphones their fucking numbers.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Who did that?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Really? Did they did? Who do you think?
- 24:26Speaker 2: This is?
- 24:26Speaker 1: The two women that we hired. That's who did it? Yes?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Like little tiny things? Love it?
- 24:33Speaker 2: Okay?
- 24:33Speaker 3: What does a day.
- 24:34Speaker 2: We'll start with you and what does a day look
- 24:36Speaker 2: like assisting Lalla and Ram or assisting me and then
- 24:40Speaker 2: Jessica for Laala.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Every single day is totally different, so I can all
- 24:46Speaker 4: answer a single day.
- 24:47Speaker 1: But it's a surprise. Every day is a surprise.
- 24:51Speaker 3: That's good.
- 24:52Speaker 2: But I mean a typical day is like you come in,
- 24:55Speaker 2: you know, you prepare the day's schedule, travel stuff, movie stuff.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I mean the thing with you is you're not working
- 25:03Speaker 2: on one thing. You're working, Oh, you're over seeing closings
- 25:05Speaker 2: of movies, and you're also moving me around and I'm
- 25:07Speaker 2: traveling blah blah blah.
- 25:08Speaker 3: So yeah, you're right, your day is never the same.
- 25:10Speaker 2: What about you?
- 25:12Speaker 6: Same thing? I mean, it's definitely never the same.
- 25:15Speaker 5: I come in in the mornings, Lala comes downstairs. She
- 25:19Speaker 5: always says hey babe, which I love, and we get
- 25:23Speaker 5: into the day, lots of emails, lots of communication. It
- 25:27Speaker 5: all just depends on which project or job she's working on.
- 25:31Speaker 5: But yeah, every day is a little bit different.
- 25:33Speaker 1: And yeah, the beginning of our day is always what
- 25:37Speaker 1: does the schedule look like? Because I like and my
- 25:40Speaker 1: calendar is color coordinated, so I know where all of
- 25:43Speaker 1: the things like if I see ten packets laying out,
- 25:47Speaker 1: I know, okay, this is coordinated with this, Like we're
- 25:50Speaker 1: just that's how the day starts. So we got to
- 25:53Speaker 1: get organized. We love a good post it. Post it
- 25:56Speaker 1: feel free to sponsor the podcast. Use yell a lot.
- 26:02Speaker 2: People don't realize that if you come into our house
- 26:05Speaker 2: in the dining room on the table, it's like post
- 26:09Speaker 2: it Central with your calendar of the two of you.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Well, we have we set up the office here, which
- 26:14Speaker 1: is fabulous. But it's so easy to work from home
- 26:17Speaker 1: because I usually come down in my nursing bra in
- 26:20Speaker 1: black sweatpants and I get to see my baby and
- 26:24Speaker 1: right now, right now, the homeworks for us, right jess
- 26:27Speaker 1: it does.
- 26:28Speaker 6: It's comfortable oceans there. She brightens up every day, so
- 26:31Speaker 6: that's great.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yes, we'll make the transition when we're ready out there.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I go again, Sorry not ask kissy. Could you imagine
- 26:37Speaker 1: if she wasn't like that? I would get rid of her?
- 26:39Speaker 3: And I already said Jessica's a rock star. Shit, but
- 26:43Speaker 3: I mean, damn.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Okay, this is for both of you guys. First, we'll
- 26:48Speaker 1: do Anna is Randall high maintenance, are pretty chill, be honest,
- 26:55Speaker 1: This is the Honest podcast. Hid hundred percent yes, just
- 27:02Speaker 1: because he's so busy, like he needs stuff to be ready,
- 27:05Speaker 1: so thank you. But he's all to be chill in
- 27:08Speaker 1: that environment. He's very chaotic. I call him a bull
- 27:12Speaker 1: in a china shop because it's like a lot of
- 27:15Speaker 1: moving parts but with very little information. He'll be like,
- 27:18Speaker 1: I want to fly to Miami on the seven, Triple
- 27:22Speaker 1: seven or whatever Life Flat, and it's like, there's no time,
- 27:26Speaker 1: so I'm just gonna have to take what he said,
- 27:29Speaker 1: triple seven Live Flat. What time does it leave? I
- 27:32Speaker 1: assume this is what he wants. Okay, same question for
- 27:36Speaker 1: you and my high maintenance are pretty chill, you guys.
- 27:39Speaker 5: Laala is the most chill person I know. And I'm
- 27:42Speaker 5: not saying this to kiss her ass. It's actually insane.
- 27:46Speaker 5: I feel like I'm more a high maintenance than Laala Wow.
- 27:50Speaker 5: So much so that like she was packing for Miami
- 27:53Speaker 5: and she picked out her outfits and it was the
- 27:55Speaker 5: smallest amount of clothes you would ever see in a
- 27:58Speaker 5: woman's suitcase, and I'm like, well, is that all you're
- 28:01Speaker 5: gonna bring.
- 28:02Speaker 6: I told my boyfriend this and he was so he
- 28:05Speaker 6: was like, you need to.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Work for her forever, because you've got a lot to learn.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Why then, why did she bring a suitcase the size
- 28:11Speaker 2: of a house and secondary suitcase?
- 28:14Speaker 1: A secondary suitcase?
- 28:15Speaker 2: We had a small roller and the big roller.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah, the small roller was for your new child named Ocean.
- 28:20Speaker 3: No, I know that, But but what was the big
- 28:22Speaker 3: roller for?
- 28:22Speaker 2: The Uh?
- 28:23Speaker 1: That was randall things. If you don't pack in a dufel,
- 28:25Speaker 1: you're a heavy packer. If she got a lightest picts,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I don't believe in it.
- 28:29Speaker 2: See.
- 28:29Speaker 1: So that's that's you think I'm high maintenance though, and
- 28:32Speaker 1: I think I'm.
- 28:32Speaker 3: You Like, you're right, Actually you did pack light. I
- 28:36Speaker 3: was shot.
- 28:36Speaker 2: But but the thing.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Do you see Jackson, Brittany. Would they brought Oh.
- 28:39Speaker 2: They brought six bags, six bags. I don't even know
- 28:43Speaker 2: what they had. I thought they brought the car to
- 28:45Speaker 2: I thought we're putting the car on the point. Yes,
- 28:47Speaker 2: but let me just tell you I am the extreme opposite.
- 28:50Speaker 2: So like it's like even a side story. My friend
- 28:53Speaker 2: Tyler was very upset at me. He had never been
- 28:55Speaker 2: to Hong Kong before. I've never been a totally.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Very upset at me. Right now we're on the outs, right.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Now, No No, he was very upset at me.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Oh, he was upset at you then, yes, So.
- 29:04Speaker 2: My friend Tyler was very upset. I invited him to
- 29:06Speaker 2: go to Tokyo. We were making the movie Silence in
- 29:09Speaker 2: Taiwan and we were going to lay over in Tokyo.
- 29:11Speaker 2: He had never been to Asia at that point, or
- 29:14Speaker 2: anywhere in the in that part of the world. And
- 29:17Speaker 2: so I get to the airport and I've got my
- 29:19Speaker 2: one bag that I carry over my shoulder and we're
- 29:22Speaker 2: going for like nine days. And he rolls in with
- 29:25Speaker 2: these two bags, and I go, what's that. He goes
- 29:27Speaker 2: with my bags, where's your bags?
- 29:29Speaker 3: I gon's right here on my shoulder, and he goes crazy.
- 29:32Speaker 2: You go, I go, you're checking, because everybody knows if
- 29:35Speaker 2: you travel with me and you check, you get left.
- 29:37Speaker 2: It's a fact I left my best friend Steve in Dubai.
- 29:40Speaker 2: When we landed, Boh gone right to the hotel. So
- 29:43Speaker 2: we landed. So he thought I was joking. He really did.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So we landed in Hong Kong. I walk off the
- 29:49Speaker 2: plane with my bag, my singular bag and backpack, and
- 29:53Speaker 2: within probably nine minutes I'm in the car and from
- 29:56Speaker 2: Narita from the airport to downtown Tokyo. It's a long,
- 30:00Speaker 2: long drive. We didn't the other airport in the middle
- 30:02Speaker 2: of the city. We didn't land that one, so it's
- 30:04Speaker 2: like an hour. I'm about true story, twenty minutes from
- 30:09Speaker 2: the hotel at this point, Remember it's nighttime, jet lag,
- 30:12Speaker 2: and I get a phone call. He goes, Yo, worry,
- 30:15Speaker 2: I'm out on the current with my bags. Oh yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 2: He thought I was joking, and I said, I said,
- 30:20Speaker 2: what do you mean, I'm I'm in the car, I'm
- 30:22Speaker 2: I'm about to pull up to the hotel. And all
- 30:25Speaker 2: I heard was click, not no talking.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I would have hung up on you too, So what But.
- 30:31Speaker 2: He is my best friend, so I mean he knows
- 30:32Speaker 2: he's traveling.
- 30:33Speaker 3: So anyway, I'm just like whatever.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I get to the hotel, I check in, I crack
- 30:38Speaker 2: a bottle of wine, like to welcome him to you know,
- 30:40Speaker 2: to Tokyo.
- 30:41Speaker 3: So then I try only two or three times.
- 30:43Speaker 2: He's not answering, and then finally he gets the hotel
- 30:46Speaker 2: that he calls. He goes, the only reason I'm calling
- 30:48Speaker 2: is because I need to know what room I'm in. Anyway,
- 30:54Speaker 2: he came upstairs and then we made up and we
- 30:57Speaker 2: drank and we had fun, but I mean I was
- 30:58Speaker 2: like Tyler, I don't try. But anyway, so on the opposite,
- 31:02Speaker 2: So anybody that checks one bag, it's a lot for
- 31:05Speaker 2: me emotion.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I'm a chucker. I don't want a deal. I want
- 31:08Speaker 1: to put it under the plane. I want to be done.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Okay, So I have I have a question that we get.
- 31:14Speaker 2: We got some questions for both of them. I like
- 31:17Speaker 2: these questions.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Hold on, we don't want to do anymore.
- 31:19Speaker 2: No, we're going to do more. But here's a good one.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Here's a good one. You have to send Lala and
- 31:23Speaker 2: Ran on a solo three week vacation, and you are
- 31:26Speaker 2: asking each other where do you send her or him?
- 31:30Speaker 2: So where do you send? Where do you send Lala?
- 31:34Speaker 2: Where do you? Where do you send me?
- 31:36Speaker 5: Oh god, this is going to be scared if I
- 31:38Speaker 5: have to send her solo for three weeks with no
- 31:42Speaker 5: one what like I want to say, just like I
- 31:49Speaker 5: want to say Newport Beach.
- 31:50Speaker 1: But I know that because I can find my way around,
- 31:55Speaker 1: because I won't write anybody. I'm like, I can be
- 31:58Speaker 1: onag being here by myself.
- 32:00Speaker 2: A good question.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It's a great question. But Jessica fails. She would have
- 32:04Speaker 1: to send me to like a small island that I.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Could watch random island island.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Yeah, small island where I just or Hawaii, like somewhere
- 32:13Speaker 1: where I don't have to leave the resort.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Would you send me, and not to punish me? Where
- 32:19Speaker 2: would you send me just because you think it's I
- 32:21Speaker 2: would enjoy myself the best for three weeks.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I would just Ibiza just because it's a party place.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Oh what a choice?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Is she right?
- 32:29Speaker 3: Great choice?
- 32:30Speaker 2: I would thrive and a visa for three weeks because
- 32:33Speaker 2: I could be on the water on days that I
- 32:35Speaker 2: need to, like wind down. I could scuba, I have
- 32:37Speaker 2: water ski chill. Yeah, and then there's nightlife on nightlife. Yes,
- 32:42Speaker 2: I think I would do good. I think that after
- 32:44Speaker 2: four or five days, i'd lose my mind. But what
- 32:46Speaker 2: are you talking about?
- 32:47Speaker 3: But but she but maybe that's Randall twenty five years old.
- 32:50Speaker 2: But yeah, that's a great one.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Okay, favorite slash funniest experience you've had working for La
- 32:56Speaker 1: La and Randall? Anna, Anna tell us.
- 33:00Speaker 4: No, okay, let's say funny like I love how in
- 33:03Speaker 4: like first month she took me to Disneyland.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Isn't that cool? To Disneyland?
- 33:10Speaker 2: And she helped she out that was because she just
- 33:13Speaker 2: started here. She goes to film school. She's a professionally
- 33:16Speaker 2: trained filmmaker. And I was like, okay, well today I
- 33:19Speaker 2: have the kids at Disneyland were walking like twelve miles.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I need some help.
- 33:22Speaker 3: And she's like, okay, have you ever been to Disneyland?
- 33:25Speaker 1: Not in the Los Angeles?
- 33:26Speaker 2: Oh myke Thatt's see there you go.
- 33:28Speaker 1: That is fun.
- 33:29Speaker 2: So she went on all the right and by the way,
- 33:31Speaker 2: the thing about Anna that's great is my oldest daughter
- 33:33Speaker 2: London loves so so it was great because she didn't
- 33:37Speaker 2: have a friend that, you know, like a good friend
- 33:39Speaker 2: that trip. Yeah, so it was like Anna was her buddy.
- 33:41Speaker 1: They went on all the rides together, and Anna so
- 33:43Speaker 1: good with the girls, and.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Then Riley holds you know, then I can entertain Riley.
- 33:46Speaker 2: It was that was actually I appreciate, I very appreciate that.
- 33:50Speaker 6: That's fun.
- 33:51Speaker 7: Okay, there's so many because Lala is hilarious. But you're
- 34:00Speaker 7: both right, Okay, sorry, but this is like an exclusive.
- 34:05Speaker 6: I think it's funny.
- 34:07Speaker 5: You guys are all probably gonna think it's gross.
- 34:09Speaker 6: Okay, So beauty party. It's Lala's give them all a
- 34:12Speaker 6: beauty party. I'm so excited.
- 34:14Speaker 5: I've been working with her for like a week, so
- 34:16Speaker 5: I'm still new on the job. I ride with her
- 34:18Speaker 5: there to the party and I'm sitting in the back.
- 34:21Speaker 5: I rarely get carsick, but for some reason, I'm getting
- 34:24Speaker 5: carsick Randall's and so I'm like, this.
- 34:27Speaker 6: Is such a huge night for Laala.
- 34:29Speaker 5: I need to be there by her side, like everything
- 34:31Speaker 5: needs to go great. And we're getting there. We're thirty
- 34:34Speaker 5: minutes away. My stomach starts to turn. I think, well,
- 34:37Speaker 5: this is it. I'm gonna puke in the Gea wagon
- 34:39Speaker 5: and I'm gonna throw up everywhere, and so I'm just
- 34:41Speaker 5: like breathing, breathing. I finally make it. We get there
- 34:45Speaker 5: and jump out of the Gea wagon. Lala and Randa
- 34:49Speaker 5: all their friends are there to welcome them, and I
- 34:51Speaker 5: run over to the bushes and I throw up.
- 34:52Speaker 1: You did freeware?
- 34:54Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 34:55Speaker 6: My boyfriend Kyle is there. He runs over.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Luckily, I have these little two sh toothbrush things.
- 35:01Speaker 6: In my purse. He gives them to me.
- 35:03Speaker 5: I hand sanitize brush my teeth and I'm in the
- 35:05Speaker 5: room with you and night goes.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I was praying that Lala.
- 35:11Speaker 1: And Rendall didn't see me because it was very embarrassing.
- 35:14Speaker 2: You're a I mean, you are a bad ask because
- 35:16Speaker 2: I mean me, if I was an assistant and I
- 35:19Speaker 2: threw up in the bushes, I'd be going home and
- 35:21Speaker 2: that would be the end of it. So wow, that's impressive,
- 35:24Speaker 2: very and it is funny as fuck.
- 35:25Speaker 3: That was a good story. I got to play the game.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Just one more question because I want to know this.
- 35:29Speaker 1: It's five questions here though, Okay, that's the game. We'll
- 35:31Speaker 1: go into the game. Okay, okay, So now we have
- 35:34Speaker 1: a game how well do you Know Your Bosses?
- 35:37Speaker 3: And this was made up by Jessica y so Jessica.
- 35:41Speaker 6: I got it from online though, but yes.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Okay, so Jessica came up with this game from online.
- 35:45Speaker 2: We want to put that out there, and this is
- 35:48Speaker 2: how well do you know your Bosses? So we asked
- 35:49Speaker 2: the question, is that how it works? And then you guys, yes.
- 35:51Speaker 6: And you say, we're right.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. Lala Randall ask you to get
- 35:56Speaker 2: their lunch, but they don't specify the order. What do
- 35:58Speaker 2: you get? Anna? First, we'll do points whoever, By the way,
- 36:02Speaker 2: whoever wins gets one hundred dollars cash. Bonus.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yes, and I have one hundred dollars right here.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Okay, here we go and.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Go like right now, would you like yeah?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Like if we say get get the lunch, but we
- 36:15Speaker 2: don't tell you what to get, you go pick something
- 36:17Speaker 2: for me? What? What do you think I'd be happy with?
- 36:19Speaker 1: Just slicesse of geese pizza.
- 36:21Speaker 2: That's right, that's the point. That's a lot, that's a
- 36:23Speaker 2: locked in point.
- 36:25Speaker 6: My gosh, I'm getting nervous. Mendocino farms not so fried.
- 36:30Speaker 1: You can say, that is right, that's fucking rest.
- 36:33Speaker 3: That's right.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I was like trying to channel your.
- 36:38Speaker 2: That is that ship you would have You would have
- 36:41Speaker 2: taken the Peda place. I'm gonna I'm gonna contest.
- 36:43Speaker 1: That she's never gotten me the Peda place? Ever? Are
- 36:45Speaker 1: you talking about only farm?
- 36:48Speaker 3: We'll see, We'll see in the end.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Who's I don't like? Hold on, let me be I'm
- 36:51Speaker 1: gonna be honest. I have never cheated at games because
- 36:55Speaker 1: I like the competitive aspects.
- 36:57Speaker 2: I don't called you a cheater. Where is going to
- 37:00Speaker 2: go to the worst place on you? I just I
- 37:02Speaker 2: thought you would have had the Greek place. I thought
- 37:04Speaker 2: you would have mat the Greek place.
- 37:05Speaker 1: No, Mendocino farms. If I tell her to go get
- 37:07Speaker 1: me something, why would she know to get the Greek place.
- 37:09Speaker 1: She's never gotten me the Greek place ever, Mendocino farms.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Not so fried chicken sandwich. That is what I like.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Yet you have a point ye testing him?
- 37:21Speaker 3: Okay, and nobody called you a cheater.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Well, when you are saying that she that I'm lying.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Do you say that Lala and I are the two
- 37:27Speaker 2: most competitive humans on the planet. Yeah, okay, Lala and
- 37:31Speaker 2: Randall is sent to a deserted island to spend the
- 37:34Speaker 2: rest of his or her life there. You are in
- 37:37Speaker 2: charge of choosing three things that they can take with them.
- 37:41Speaker 2: What do you choose for them? That's a great fucking question.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Go ahead, three things, I think real hardy three things.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Oh, this is hard, is hard, that's difficult. I'm sweating,
- 37:58Speaker 1: getting nervous. Do you have your answer and your head?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Rand you have all three things that you want?
- 38:03Speaker 2: I have two right now, I'm working on third, but
- 38:05Speaker 2: I'm waiting for my partner of Annato.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Well, then you'll just say that's exactly what I had. Yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 1: that's what I want. If you only have.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Two three, Now I just have a secondly ship, all right,
- 38:16Speaker 2: I mean god, I mean it's the game for them,
- 38:18Speaker 2: not for me, torturing me. Okay, three things.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Think of the three most important.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Things to me that I would want there. Yeah, that's correct.
- 38:28Speaker 2: It comes with a court, I'm assuming right, court and
- 38:32Speaker 2: pickleball paddle on the islands. So I have pickleball to
- 38:34Speaker 2: work out. That's good. Think of the most important things
- 38:37Speaker 2: in my life that I would not want to leave
- 38:39Speaker 2: going to an island.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Don't give her hints.
- 38:42Speaker 3: I'm just telling her to think before she speaks.
- 38:44Speaker 1: So now now be done.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Done, I'm done.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Pickleball. Oh yes, let's set.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Is already going. It says, if they're going together, you
- 38:58Speaker 2: have a third one.
- 38:59Speaker 1: That's three the ocean.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Your pickleball already going.
- 39:03Speaker 1: That's her answer.
- 39:03Speaker 2: It's not her answer. It says, right here, it's as
- 39:08Speaker 2: lolling render are sent to insert island. So I have
- 39:10Speaker 2: a throw one.
- 39:10Speaker 3: You said ocean pickleball, and.
- 39:14Speaker 2: You definitely lose this one. You got about the fucking
- 39:16Speaker 2: other kids, London and Riley. Okay, you fucking fail, you fail.
- 39:21Speaker 2: You want me you want to bring my pickleball paddle,
- 39:23Speaker 2: leave London Riley fucking home all right, nuts, Okay, anything
- 39:27Speaker 2: close that you win.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Okay, okay, she got two out of three. I'm nervous.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Okay, ocean obvious, yes one, Oh my gosh, the gray
- 39:35Speaker 5: furry robe.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Please, oh my god, you're right.
- 39:38Speaker 6: Okay, yes, yes, and number three a TV with Housewives
- 39:41Speaker 6: on it.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 39:43Speaker 2: That's not right. It's not right.
- 39:45Speaker 3: I'll tell you why it's not right.
- 39:47Speaker 2: And you're not getting a point for it. Right now.
- 39:49Speaker 2: You left your fucking mom at home and you talk.
- 39:51Speaker 3: That's no, Mike, that's it.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I put you. Can't you leave your mom at home.
- 39:56Speaker 1: She wasn't on my list. I made it in my mind.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I wanted my robe, house wives, an ocean.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Okay, Lisa, I.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Want you to sorry.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I want you to listen. That your daughter could have
- 40:05Speaker 2: brought three things that she chose, her rope and Housewives
- 40:08Speaker 2: over you.
- 40:09Speaker 1: That's always in my mind. If she would have said
- 40:11Speaker 1: my mom, I would have said, that's wrong. Okay, sure,
- 40:13Speaker 1: my gray bat. Everyone know all this my great bathrobe,
- 40:17Speaker 1: my baby, and something to watch house I've done.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Okay, so what So for the rest of your life,
- 40:21Speaker 2: your mom's done. You never see her again. I call bullshit.
- 40:23Speaker 1: It's a game. So yes, that's the right.
- 40:25Speaker 2: We're running answers down from them because I don't trust this.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Well, she gets the hunt. I was going to say,
- 40:31Speaker 1: you got it. I'm not even kidding.
- 40:33Speaker 3: It's one.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Question, but it's a good thing. You said to watch
- 40:37Speaker 1: housewives on because I would not have said a TV
- 40:40Speaker 1: but she said house.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Okay, right now, it's two to one, but questionable in
- 40:43Speaker 2: that one.
- 40:44Speaker 3: You can have one superpower you.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Make your mom at home, okay, superpower mom everywhere.
- 40:49Speaker 3: You can have one superpower for Lala and Randall to have.
- 40:53Speaker 2: What do you give them? Hold on, please your right
- 40:55Speaker 2: mind down so that we don't have any more questions together,
- 40:59Speaker 2: or it's just for you can choose.
- 41:00Speaker 3: One superpower for Laala or Randall. That so it would
- 41:03Speaker 3: be you choose it.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, you're not going to get this one.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I okay, go And it's any superpower you can think of,
- 41:13Speaker 3: any any.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Power in general, super strength. Oh that's a good one.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Not the one I pick. I picked the Live Forever.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I love it. I love it.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Okay, what is mine?
- 41:27Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 41:28Speaker 5: But the one I would pick for you would be
- 41:30Speaker 5: mind control, because that's very important.
- 41:33Speaker 2: That's not the one, she wrote.
- 41:35Speaker 1: No, I wrote, I want to teleport.
- 41:38Speaker 2: That's a good one, like being living forever. It's like
- 41:40Speaker 2: teleporting through everything to do that's like being here forever,
- 41:44Speaker 2: everything of all.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, so you both get so it's one

- 42:45Speaker 1: Anna knew.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Oh one second.

- 43:05Speaker 1: So we are in studying debth.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And the final final and the final question is if
- 43:14Speaker 2: you could switch places for a week with anyone in
- 43:18Speaker 2: the world, in any job in the world, in any
- 43:21Speaker 2: career in the world. Who would you switch with for?

- 44:20Speaker 1: Many one so hard.
- 44:21Speaker 2: But there's a hard one because there's so many people
