- 0:19SPEAKER_00: If you are looking to live well, you are in the right place.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: A new episode starts.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone, and welcome to the very first episode of the Live Well Podcast.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: This has definitely been a long time in the making and something that I have wanted to do for a while now.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: And I adore podcasts.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: I think it's going to be a really great medium for me to share with you guys so much of the knowledge that I have and also bring on other people who can teach you all the things to help you live well too.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: So for the very first episode, I thought I would kind of dive deep into my health journey and my story.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Because I'm sure a lot of you, even if you've been following me for a long time, you may not know kind of the ins and outs or the true, really nitty-gritty of what I have been to or been through to really get me where I am now with my health.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna dive into that.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna talk about all of that, and I'm super excited.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So to start off, hmm, where should we start?
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I feel like the start is always the most difficult place.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: So I think I would say my health journey really started in undergrad.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: So I was in university and I just started experiencing symptoms.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: I was tired all the time, I had heart palpitations, my gut health was off, I was just like bloated and not digesting things well.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Um and also like acne, skin was like definitely a huge thing for me.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: But probably the most concerning I would say was the fatigue because it made it obviously very difficult to get through undergrad to study, write exams when I was so incredibly tired.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: And anyone with fatigue will know that when when I say tired, it's not that like tired at the end of the day, it's that it is hard to get out of bed tired.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: It is hard to have the energy to walk to the bathroom type of tired.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: So, really that extreme fatigue.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: And so naturally, I went to the doctor as anyone would do, and then you know, they did blood work, they took a physical exam, etc.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: And they basically told me, you know, everything is normal, like you're good.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Um, you're probably just like a tired student or whatever it was.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: And I remember just feeling so dismissed and so unheard because they were telling me that that I was fine, that everything was quote unquote normal, but I didn't feel normal.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: And there was no way that what I was feeling was normal or that this was just how I was supposed to live, and they didn't really offer me any kind of you know solutions.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: They, I'm pretty sure, just thought I was a a partier who was tired in university doing that that undergrad thing.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Um, but that a wasn't the case, but also, you know, I just felt discouraged that I was supposed to supposed to live that way, and it actually wasn't until a a friend introduced me to a natural path that she was seeing and said, why don't you try this out?
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: I distinctly remember this night because I feel like it was probably like a pivoting point in my life, my journey, so I can I literally see the living room of you know the condo I used to live in with my mom, where my friend suggested this.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: And so I booked an appointment, and at the time it was a teaching clinic that actually ended up being the the natural pathic school I attended to at the time.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Um, so I I made an appointment there, and you know, by this time I had also tried like a lot of things um for my skin.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: I had been to dermatologists uh who put me on creams and antibiotics and things like that.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: And I also I guess I should go back and say that I had been on quite a number of antibiotics growing up, you know, I had a lot of ear infections and things like that, so I definitely had a history of a lot of antibiotic use going into this.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Anyway, so I made the appointment at the naturopath and I went to my first appointment, and I honestly remember this moment, like again, another pivotal moment because it really felt like the like the clouds had cleared, and I'll you'll see why in a moment, but I explained everything, you know, that was going on, and I remember the doctor at the time was like, Oh, yeah, of course, like XYZ, this is why you are feeling tired, this is why you are breaking out, this is why you know everything is connected.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Not only do I hear you and believe you, but this is what we can do about it.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: And I remember them explaining, you know, the role of antibiotics and how that can damage our gut and the connection of gut to skin and to you know everything else.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And I just remember feeling so heard and like we came up with a plan, and someone told me, you know, yeah, I see the problem, and we're gonna get to the to the root cause of that problem.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: So from then on, that's kind of when I started working in natural health.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: And this was, I feel like I had one year left of undergrad.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: So I must have seen I saw them in the summer between third and fourth year.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So I still had one year left um in undergrad.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So I started working with a naturopath, and I remember thinking, like, this is what I want to do, like this is what I want to do with my life, like this is incredible, especially because, you know, up until this point, even when I was little, I thought I like I wanted to be a doctor.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: I wanted to be your regular kind of MD.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: You know, even when I was little, I remember my favorite book was called The Big Book of Anatomy.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: And it was one of those like giant big books, like you know, the ones that are like three and a half, four feet tall, like those giant books of the body.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Like that was my favorite thing.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: I loved, you know, medicine, anything medical, anatomy, human, body related, I was all about.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: So I was on like track to go to med school, took the AMCATs, all of that kind of stuff.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And you know, no matter what I what doctors I went to, they just kept telling me, oh, you're normal, there's nothing we can do.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't until I went to that naturopath who heard me and listened to me and you know said, Yeah, I can help you, and here's how, that I really understood that, like, why was I going to become a you know doctor who just offers band-aid solutions?
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: I want to become a naturopath that really dives deep into the root cause of the problem, but also how everything is so interconnected in the body.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: And that definitely doesn't go, you know, anything wrong to say with being an MD or doctors out there.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: It's just a different approach.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: And this is an approach that really resonated with me, and one that, you know, I really felt called to because I had, you know, been there and I had been that person who wasn't listened to and didn't feel heard or you know, honestly felt hopeless and helpless that like I wasn't going to feel any better.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: So that is actually how I discovered, you know, the field of naturopathic medicine, and I know from then on that that was the route I was going to take, both to heal myself and to learn to heal other people.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: And so after that, you know, I applied to naturopathic school, and from there, I'm sure many of you know that I went on to complete a four-year program, a four long, grueling year program in naturopathic medicine that has, you know, brought me to where I am today.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: But honestly, a lot of my health journey was a struggle.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: I remember when I started working with a naturopath, you know, I got the the IgG food sensitivity test because at the time I was experiencing severe gut issues to the point where, you know, almost anything I ate, you know, I had stomach cramping and bloating and XYZ.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: Like it was just so frustrating because I was eating, quote unquote, all the right things.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And I got this test done, and I remember when it came back, I was intolerant to a hundred and eighty foods.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Guys, literally, there were fewer foods that I could eat than like I couldn't eat.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Like the list was smaller of foods that were okay for my digestion than foods that were not okay, which basically means that I had a severe, severe leaky gut.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: Um, and if you don't know what leaky gut is, basically it's when your gut lining becomes super permeable to food particles, and this triggers, you know, reactions in the body that you know can be anything from brain fog, you know, joint pain to bloating, digestion issues, and all that.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: And I will say I was significantly foggy in my last year of undergrad, so that's also why um we started diving deep into gut health and leaky gut because I was also having that brain fog.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: So you can imagine, you know, not even being able to eat things like watermelon because my gut was just so damaged from you know the food that I had been eating.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: And the funny thing is, is that growing up, you know, my mom was honestly more healthy than most people.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: She thought honey nut Cheerios were were too sugary, and so it was just my diet definitely wasn't horrible, and so it was amazing to see the you know how leaky it was considering I didn't grow up, you know, in a in an unhealthy household.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: My mom didn't like never took me to McDonald's.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: That was that was not a thing.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: I so it was super interesting to get to work on that and just to see really how deeply food affects our body and how food truly is medicine.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: And that's something that definitely I learned the hard way, and something I like to empower a lot of you guys now to really be aware of what you put in your body so that you don't get to the state that I was in.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: So from there I started working with a naturopath who helped, you know, clear my skin, who helped, you know, work on gut health and work all of these things.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: And you know, I started going through not only the program in terms of you know learning myself in medical school itself, but also, you know, getting to have my health journey along while going through school was definitely a challenge because anyone with adrenal fatigue will tell you you have to rest, and going through med school and resting were were quite an interesting combo.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: So it was definitely interesting for me to navigate how do I heal my adrenals, but also get through you know 11 exams in five days, which is kind of like a picture of what med school is like.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: It's a lot of information, it's a lot of courses, so I was trying to heal my gut, get rid of my brain fog, clear my skin, heal my adrenals, but also get through this very intensive, rigorous program.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: So I do say like it was definitely harder if I wasn't, you know, going through med school, it would have been easier to heal, but I also think it really showed me how rewarding and how amazing, you know, it can be to really take charge of your health and implement kind of what I was learning into my own health to kind of see what was working, what wasn't working, and everything like that.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: And one thing, you know, that is always super resonated with me in terms of naturopathic medicine is getting to the root cause of the problem.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Because if you keep putting a band-aid solution on it, you know, taking an antibiotic for your acne instead of discovering, okay, why is this acne happening in the first place?
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: What's triggering it?
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: You know, what is your liver health like?
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Is there some congestion there?
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: What is your gut health like?
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Do we need to work on your gut health?
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: You know, what is your stress levels like?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: What are your adrenals like?
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Because it's only by getting to the root cause of the problem that you're gonna eliminate it.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: Otherwise, you're gonna keep be putting band-aid after band-aid after band-aid on it.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: And also, unfortunately, a lot of those band-aids, you know, will actually end up causing different harm and different side effects.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: So, for example, I know the antibiotics that you're put on, you know, for your skin that are supposed to clear that up are severely damaging to your gut health and they're also really taxing on your liver, which is interesting because both of those are tied to skin.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: So while it's a band-aid solution, a lot of the time it's actually causing more problems than it is solving.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: So if we fast forward through through the med school, through healing, all of that stuff, and um, I won't get into like the nitty-gritty of exactly what I took to heal because you know everyone's going to need different supplements or a different diet than I need, because of course, as we all know by now, and it's something that I preach, it's so individualized, but that is what is amazing is really formulating that integrative, personalized, naturopathic approach to what is going on with everyone.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: So we fast forward to about year, I feel like it was year, maybe towards the end of year three, early of my last year of graduating school.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: You know, I had done a lot of work on my gut health.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: I had eliminated, you know, all the top allergens, you know, gluten, dairy.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: I was feeling so much better.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: You know, it's really a wonder how damaging a lot of the quote unquote staples in your the typical like American or North American diet are.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: I was still fatigued.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: And so I remember I started working with a different naturopath at the time because mine had gone on to do like different things, and she decided to test me for mold because although my fatigue had gotten a lot better, you know, I had worked to heal my adrenals, I was trying not to be as burned out.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: I also will note I was also running a you know a YouTube business, making recipes on top of med school, on top of exams, and on top of all that.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: So not only was I going through school, but I was, you know, creating and launching a business and you know, getting to to do all that kind of stuff in terms of social media, which anyone, you know, who does social media will tell you it is more than a full-time job.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: So on top of going to school, I was also spending definitely over 40 hours a week, you know, on my you know, Instagram and YouTube and kind of you know, sharing my recipes and everything like that.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: So there was a lot going on.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: So there's no wonder why I was fatigued, but I always had a feeling that there was something that we were missing, there was something that there was a reason I was still more fatigued, like I should have been, you know, so much better than I was.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: So I feel like I feel like I got like a download.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: There was something about like mold.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: I remember I was learning about mold in class, and I was like, I feel like this could be me.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: And I then I kind of like remembered that in undergrad, I think it was second year, I lived in a house that had water damage.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: So there was like a flood, and it was a basement house, it was a very old house.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Um, I went to Queens, and if we we lived in old houses, like the student community there and the housing there, like are a lot of old houses, and so there was a lot of water damage, and we had stored a lot of our stuff in the basement because they were there were five of us living at the house at the time, and there was water damage along everything that had gone moldy.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: So we hadn't discovered it for a while.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: Um, it happened, and I think it's when we were moving out for the summer or something that we had discovered that it was moldy, and of course, like maybe we should have thought about this, but none of us like thought to wear gloves or to wear a mask of any kind while cleaning out the mold, and it was like visible mold, like there was it smelled moldy, you could see the mold.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: We should have probably been more precautious, but to be honest, I feel like we were just naive undergrads and we started cleaning the mold.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: And when I think back to you know, when I started feeling really fatigued, and you know, that is a common question that happens, you know, when you do a naturopathic intake, they will always ask you, okay, when did this start?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Because oftentimes that gives us kind of a picture of you know why it started.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: And I couldn't like put the dots together, like I just remember feeling really fatigued, feeling really fatigued, and I wasn't sure, you know, what it was.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: And then it was like a light bulb went off, and I was like, oh my gosh, like I was exposed to mold, and I had lived in that house for I don't know how long, breathing in the mold, like in the basement, but also when I was we were cleaning out the basement, you know, I was exposed to the the mold.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: So I decided to bite the bullet and get a very fancy mold test, is basically what I will call it.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: It's the mycotoxin test that you can do.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: It is run through a private lab, but at this point I was I was willing to get the answers.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Like I just wanted to know why I was feeling so fatigued.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: And while you know I had done all this work on my gut health and everything to help, and don't get me wrong, it did, there was still like an underlying reason that was still contributing to the fatigue.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: So I did the test, and spoiler alert, um, it came back positive for several different kinds of mold.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: So I was well over the the limit or what is acceptable for the types of mold.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: And the thing about mold is that once it gets stuck in your body, if it's not metabolized out, it can lie dormant and it basically it basically hides out and continues to wreak havoc in your body, and your body can't clear it out properly because it kind of evades your immune system.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: It has this like outer coating on the on the outside of their cells, which makes it difficult for your system to identify them and to bring them out.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: So I started a protocol for mold, which you know involved, you know, different kinds of binders and clays and things like that to really metabolize the mold out of my system, and that was definitely a process.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Um, but I definitely had my fatigue resolve kind of like to the point it is now, just from like getting rid of that mold.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: So it's really like there were so many things going on, and as you can see, like it's taken quite a number of you know different testing and things like that to really dive deep into what was going on and to solve literally all of the things, but that's what's super important about you know, natural or like naturopathic medicine is that it's often multifactorial, and so that's kind of like where I've gotten my health to today, you know, not to say that I don't sometimes get tired, but I'm no longer fatigued to the point where I can't get up the off the couch where I'm so fatigued that I'm you know weak and my body is collapsing because it's it can't even like it's hard to go to walk to the washroom.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: That's the fatigue level I was at.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: And you know, my gut health is now at a point where it's not, you know, flaring up anytime I eat something, and I'm not like bloated and distended every time I eat.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: And anyone out there who is struggling with with gut health will know that it's super frustrating to honestly, it feels like you're six months pregnant.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Like that's how it felt in the mirror, that's what it looked like in the mirror, and it was crazy because like when it wasn't flaring, like I'm I'm a small person, like I'm I'm I don't look pregnant on a normal basis, right?
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: But that's the severity to which my bloating would occur, is my stomach would literally and my intestines would expand to the point where I looked five, six months pregnant.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: So if any of you out there are experiencing this, I really encourage you to, you know, let me know if you want to work with me or you know, work with a naturopath to really dive deep into what those issues are.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: So I don't say it lightly when I say that naturopathic medicine like saved my life because I would not be the person today or healed like I am today if someone, you know, didn't help me identify all of these things that you know the the regular doctors don't think about or don't address.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: So it really shows A that food is medicine and that it really is so powerful, but B the importance of looking at the person as a whole and getting to the bottom, like and getting to the root cause so that you stop it from happening versus putting on a band-aid solution.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: And you know, and this was even true with my skin.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: I had really, you know, bad skin and bad, bad acne, and it was so bizarre because I was I was eating all the right things, like I was eating healthy, and it was something that I still struggled with in naturopathic school, and I was so confused.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: I was like, but I'm eating all the right things.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: And so while that definitely helped, because a hundred percent my skin would have been so much worse if I wasn't eating well, it was only through you know looking at hormones and looking at hormones and gut health together for me personally that I was able to see.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Okay, these hormones are off.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: You know, I wasn't metabolizing estrogen properly.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I had a buildup of that, and my liver was overburdened, you know, from the mold and the estrogen, and you know, just the fact that we live in a modern society and you're exposed to pollutants and everything like that.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: So, of course, it's impossible to avoid everything a hundred percent, but it was only through like doing all those little things that I was able to kind of fully heal my body in such an integrative and kind of holistic way.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: So I feel like that is kind of like the the nitty-gritty of the situation.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: Um, but that's kind of like where I was and kind of where I am now.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: So I've gone from being honestly so overly fatigued, burnt out adrenals, my cortisol was in the toilet.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: I remember getting my cortisol results back.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: And normally when you wake up in the morning, you have a little bit of a cortisol rise to get you going, and then it goes down at night.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And they show you like a baseline level.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: And guys, I was at like the bare minimum.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: My cortisol was so tanked and so burnt out, it was crazy.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: And now, um, because I retested it, you know, after going through the protocols and going through everything, and now my cortisol curve looks a lot more normal, but it's just crazy to see, you know, how I went from having no cortisol, being burnt out, intolerant to 180 foods, and now just being so nourished and having energy back and my skin cleared up.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I'm just so grateful to naturopathic medicine and to really that first doctor who listened to me and made me feel heard because it was then that honestly allowed me to now help other people.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: And I can't tell you how many times and how many patients have come to me, you know, during clinic and during all that, who told me, you know, my doctor says that there's nothing I can do, my doctor says that it's all normal, and you know, I tell them that not only I hear them, but that I can help, and this is what we're gonna do.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: And they break down in front of me because they feel heard and seen, and they just have felt so hopeless.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: And so I love being able to give people that that hope and you know, tell them that you know, we're gonna work on this and we're gonna figure it out, and you're going to get better, you're going to feel better.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: This is not something that you just have to live with.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: So honestly, it's so rewarding to get to do what I do, and I really feel that you know, there was a reason that I had these symptoms, there was a reason I went through this journey because I feel like if I didn't have those things, if I didn't feel those things and I didn't, you know, have those experiences, I never would have been introduced to naturopathic medicine, I wouldn't have, you know, gone to school for it, and I wouldn't be able to help all of the people that I get to help today.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: So I love working with my one-on-one clients, and if that's something that you are feeling called to right now after hearing this story and you have a similar one and you're just kind of feeling stuck, definitely reach out to me and see we can get you on a wait list for a spot for that.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Um, but also I am super excited because I am launching a new well, it's a revamped program of Wellnourished.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: If you guys follow me on Instagram, you know Well Nourished is my program where I really teach you to live a well-nourished life, hence the name.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: But it's all about teaching you how to eat healthy in a very delicious and satisfying way.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Because honestly, our health really starts with the food that we eat.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: You know, food is able to turn on and turn off genes, which is absolutely crazy because you know, you hear a lot of people use the excuse of, oh, it's in my genes, it's genetics.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: But number one, genes only account for 5%.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: And two, you can turn those genes on and off with food.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: So the Well Nourished program, um, it's open for enrollment now.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: So by the time that you're hearing this, you can definitely sign up.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: And this is going to be the last round for 2020.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: And it's super special because I'm really making this more of an intensive program where we anchor in and embody how to live a healthy life in a really delicious and satisfying way so that it can basically stop controlling your life and your relationships.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: One thing I see, and I still do see time and time again with a lot of the people that I saw was that they didn't know how to eat properly for their health, which sounds super basic, but a lot of people, you know, don't know.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: And there's a lot of misinformation out there, and they've tried so many different things and this diet and that diet, and nothing's working, and they just feel basically hungry all the time, and they're not enjoying their life because they're on this, you know, restrictive diet that doesn't feel good to them.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: They're, you know, still hungry, they're still having cravings, and it honestly starts to affect your relationships.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: It affects how you're able to show up at work because you're you're brain fogged and you're not eating properly, so you can't perform well.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: You know, it affects your relationships because you know you're irritable and you're moody.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: And that's also, you know, your hormones and stuff like that.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: The food affects your hormones, and so it's so multifactorial.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: So we really work through that in the program so that you can, you know, give your body the proper nourishment it needs to, you know, feel amazing and to honestly feel like you because we all deserve to feel amazing in our bodies, you know, to have the bodies that we want, but also have the health that we want when it comes to you know clear skin and gut health and you know managing stress.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: So it really gives you all the tools to be nourished in all the different facets of your life.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: So it becomes your new way of life.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: You don't have to overthink or count, there's no calorie counting, it just teaches you how to properly eat, which is so important and it really is the foundation and basics.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: If you want to, you know, live healthily, this is kind of where you have to start, and you can't neglect this.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: So if you are living in fear, if you've been frustrated and overwhelmed, and you're just you just want to learn how to to do that, this is definitely possible for you.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to leave all the details in the show notes for the program if you want to learn more, or you can DM me on Instagram if you have any questions.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: But I'm super excited because it's basically I've taken all I've learned, you know, all my expertise in terms of going through med school and all that and teaching you how you can live a well-nourished life so that you can not undereat anymore and not be afraid of calories or afraid of going out and you know being social, but still, you know, feel amazing in your body and have the body that you want, eat the food, like eat amazing, delicious food and all that stuff, and basically get your life back so that you're not irritable or moody or having cravings or being upset all the time or just being frustrated because you don't feel great in your clothes because you're constantly bloated, like all of this stuff is super connected.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: So definitely, guys, I'm so excited because we are really going to be diving deep.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: You know, there's a combo of group calls, there's a combo of one-on-one.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: Again, with me, we kind of have an intro call where I get to know you and kind of what you want to work on.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: So I'm needless to say, super excited because it's gonna be transformative in a very different way because it's super intense, because we get to dive deep, you know, together and you really also get that support of the group who is going through it with you.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, like I said, I'm gonna leave all those details in the show notes.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: And I hope you guys enjoyed, you know, getting to learn more about me and where I came from and what has brought me to this point.
