Dolly Parton is bringing her legendary life to Broadway in “Dolly: A True Original Musical,” premiering December 7 with a special birthday bash for her 81st on January 19. Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher and co-written by Dolly herself, the show features her iconic hits and brand-new songs. It’s not a first for the stage — a student-run version ran last summer at Belmont University with a “Dolly U” program. Tickets go on fan presale July 8 at 10 AM, with general sales July 10.
