- 0:13of Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, and
- 0:18his delegation at Al -Sharah, Diwa's new headquarters
- 0:22in Al -Jaddaf. The iconic landmark is the world's
- 0:26tallest, largest, and smartest net positive government
- 0:30building. That visit highlighted the significance
- 0:34of Al -Sharah as a major achievement in sustainable
- 0:37development. The Mazdar delegation toured the
- 0:41building and reviewed Diwa's key global performance
- 0:43indicators, as well as the building's advanced
- 0:46features. What makes Al -Sharah particularly
- 0:50important is its innovative concept for sustainable
- 0:53buildings. It integrates smart solutions within
- 0:57a comprehensive cognitive system that can sense,
- 1:01analyze, and respond. This is why it is positioned
- 1:05as the world's smartest government building,
- 1:08enabled by the Internet of Things, big data analytics,
- 1:12and artificial intelligence. The scale of the
- 1:16integrated system is remarkable. More than 110
- 1:20,000 smart sensors monitor environmental and
- 1:23operational data in real time. These are supported
- 1:27by over 1 ,500 wireless access points and more
- 1:31than 3 ,200 network devices working together
- 1:34in full coordination. In addition, these systems
- 1:39generate more than 1 .9 million automated control
- 1:42commands every day. That level of automation
- 1:46strengthens operational alignment and significantly
- 1:50improves performance efficiency. Al -Sharah is
- 1:54also designed to set a new global benchmark for
- 1:57net positive buildings, meaning it produces more
- 2:00clean energy than it consumes. At the same time,
- 2:03it provides a smart and sustainable work environment
- 2:06with people at the center. This directly supports
- 2:10the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050. and the
- 2:14Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050
- 2:18through better resource efficiency, lower emissions,
- 2:22and faster progress toward a green, innovation
- 2:25-led economy. The building consists of 19 floors,
- 2:30in addition to a ground floor and basement, with
- 2:33a built -up area of more than 2 million square
- 2:36feet. It was designed to achieve LEED Platinum
- 2:39certification and Well Gold certification. Overall,
- 2:43Al -Sharah stands as a global model for future
- 2:47buildings by combining artificial intelligence,
- 2:49sustainability, resource efficiency, and quality
- 2:53of life.
