• 0:37
  Ralph,
• 0:38
  I'm
• 0:38
  always
• 0:38
  caught
• 0:38
  off
• 0:39
  guard
• 0:39
  by
• 0:39
  big
• 0:39
  bills.
• 0:40
  How
• 0:40
  do
• 0:41
  I
• 0:41
  plan
• 0:41
  for
• 0:41
  them?
• 0:42
  Let
• 0:42
  me
• 0:43
  ask
• 0:43
  you
• 0:43
  right
• 0:43
  now,
• 0:43
  have
• 0:44
  you
• 0:44
  ever
• 0:44
  had
• 0:44
  a
• 0:44
  bill
• 0:44
  show
• 0:44
  up
• 0:44
  and
• 0:45
  your
• 0:45
  stomach
• 0:45
  drops
• 0:46
  that
• 0:47
  pain,
• 0:47
  that
• 0:47
  self
• 0:48
  blame?
• 0:48
  You're
• 0:48
  like,
• 0:48
  what?
• 0:49
  How
• 0:49
  did
• 0:49
  this
• 0:49
  happen?
• 0:50
  Let
• 0:50
  me
• 0:50
  tell
• 0:51
  you
• 0:51
  right
• 0:51
  now,
• 0:51
  you're
• 0:51
  not
• 0:51
  careless.
• 0:52
  You're
• 0:53
  just
• 0:53
  tired
• 0:53
  of
• 0:53
  being
• 0:53
  caught
• 0:54
  off
• 0:54
  guard.
• 0:55
  But
• 0:55
  here's
• 0:55
  the
• 0:55
  thing
• 0:55
  I
• 0:56
  want
• 0:56
  to
• 0:56
  tell
• 0:56
  you.
• 0:57
  Most
• 0:57
  surprises
• 0:58
  aren't
• 0:58
  surprises.
• 0:59
  They're
• 1:00
  just
• 1:00
  unplanned.
• 1:01
  And
• 1:01
  that
• 1:01
  anxiety
• 1:02
  doesn't
• 1:02
  come
• 1:02
  from
• 1:03
  the
• 1:03
  bill.
• 1:04
  It
• 1:04
  comes
• 1:04
  from
• 1:05
  being
• 1:05
  unprepared.
• 1:07
  What
• 1:07
  if
• 1:08
  this
• 1:08
  time
• 1:08
  you
• 1:08
  saw
• 1:08
  it
• 1:09
  coming?
• 1:10
  You
• 1:10
  see
• 1:10
  it,
• 1:11
  you
• 1:11
  spread
• 1:11
  it.
• 1:12
  It
• 1:12
  removes
• 1:12
  the
• 1:12
  panic.
• 1:13
  Well,
• 1:14
  let's
• 1:14
  work
• 1:14
  on
• 1:14
  building
• 1:15
  better
• 1:15
  plans
• 1:15
  on
• 1:16
  today's.
• 1:38
  Hello
• 1:38
  and
• 1:38
  welcome.
• 1:38
  I'm
• 1:39
  Ralph.
• 1:39
  Thank
• 1:39
  you
• 1:39
  for
• 1:39
  joining
• 1:40
  me
• 1:40
  again
• 1:40
  today.
• 1:41
  This
• 1:41
  is
• 1:41
  financially
• 1:42
  confident
• 1:42
  Christian.
• 1:43
  And
• 1:43
  every
• 1:43
  day
• 1:43
  I
• 1:44
  work
• 1:44
  to
• 1:44
  help
• 1:44
  you
• 1:44
  break
• 1:45
  that
• 1:45
  cycle
• 1:45
  of
• 1:45
  financial
• 1:46
  shame
• 1:46
  and
• 1:47
  truly
• 1:47
  live
• 1:47
  in
• 1:48
  confidence.
• 1:48
  And
• 1:49
  I've
• 1:49
  been
• 1:49
  helping
• 1:49
  people
• 1:49
  just
• 1:50
  like
• 1:50
  you
• 1:50
  for
• 1:50
  30
• 1:50
  years.
• 1:52
  And
• 1:52
  the
• 1:52
  thing
• 1:52
  that
• 1:52
  I've
• 1:52
  really
• 1:53
  found
• 1:53
  that
• 1:53
  works
• 1:54
  is
• 1:54
  really
• 1:54
  forecasting
• 1:55
  those
• 1:55
  annual
• 1:56
  costs
• 1:56
  before
• 1:57
  they
• 1:57
  hit.
• 1:58
  Because
• 1:58
  when
• 1:58
  we
• 1:58
  break
• 1:59
  big
• 1:59
  cost
• 1:59
  into
• 1:59
  monthly
• 2:00
  bites,
• 2:01
  everything
• 2:01
  changes.
• 2:02
  Let
• 2:02
  me
• 2:02
  tell
• 2:02
  you
• 2:02
  right
• 2:02
  now,
• 2:02
  it's
• 2:02
  not
• 2:03
  magic.
• 2:03
  A
• 2:03
  lot
• 2:03
  of
• 2:03
  people
• 2:03
  say,
• 2:04
  ralph,
• 2:04
  what
• 2:04
  you
• 2:04
  do
• 2:04
  is
• 2:04
  magic.
• 2:05
  It's
• 2:05
  not
• 2:05
  magic.
• 2:07
  It's
• 2:07
  math
• 2:08
  mixed
• 2:08
  with
• 2:08
  peace.
• 2:10
  Because
• 2:11
  the
• 2:11
  truth
• 2:11
  is,
• 2:11
  I've
• 2:12
  lived
• 2:12
  this.
• 2:13
  I'm
• 2:13
  not
• 2:13
  just
• 2:13
  taught
• 2:14
  it.
• 2:14
  I've
• 2:15
  had
• 2:15
  those
• 2:15
  surprise
• 2:16
  bills.
• 2:16
  I've
• 2:16
  had
• 2:16
  those
• 2:17
  things
• 2:17
  come
• 2:17
  up.
• 2:17
  And
• 2:17
  when
• 2:17
  I
• 2:18
  really
• 2:18
  went
• 2:18
  back
• 2:18
  and
• 2:18
  studied,
• 2:20
  wasn't
• 2:20
  a
• 2:20
  surprise
• 2:21
  at
• 2:21
  all.
• 2:22
  I
• 2:23
  should
• 2:23
  have
• 2:23
  expected
• 2:24
  this.
• 2:24
  Like
• 2:25
  right
• 2:25
  now
• 2:25
  in
• 2:25
  Delaware,
• 2:26
  it's
• 2:26
  becoming
• 2:27
  colder
• 2:27
  outside.
• 2:28
  Well,
• 2:28
  guess
• 2:29
  what's
• 2:29
  going
• 2:29
  to
• 2:29
  happen
• 2:29
  next
• 2:29
  month?
• 2:30
  My
• 2:31
  electric
• 2:31
  bill
• 2:31
  is
• 2:31
  going
• 2:31
  to
• 2:31
  be
• 2:32
  higher.
• 2:32
  My
• 2:32
  heating
• 2:32
  costs
• 2:32
  are
• 2:33
  going
• 2:33
  to
• 2:33
  be
• 2:33
  higher.
• 2:34
  That's
• 2:34
  not
• 2:34
  a
• 2:34
  surprise.
• 2:35
  I
• 2:35
  know
• 2:35
  it's
• 2:36
  going
• 2:36
  to
• 2:36
  happen
• 2:36
  because
• 2:36
  the
• 2:36
  weather's
• 2:37
  getting
• 2:37
  colder
• 2:37
  outside.
• 2:39
  Well,
• 2:39
  let
• 2:39
  me
• 2:39
  tell
• 2:39
  you
• 2:39
  about
• 2:39
  this
• 2:40
  family
• 2:40
  I
• 2:40
  work
• 2:40
  with.
• 2:40
  I
• 2:40
  had
• 2:41
  this
• 2:41
  family,
• 2:41
  they
• 2:41
  were
• 2:42
  friends
• 2:42
  of
• 2:42
  ours,
• 2:43
  and
• 2:43
  they
• 2:43
  used
• 2:43
  to
• 2:43
  panic
• 2:44
  every
• 2:44
  single
• 2:45
  spring.
• 2:45
  I
• 2:45
  knew
• 2:45
  them,
• 2:45
  they
• 2:46
  come
• 2:46
  in
• 2:46
  to
• 2:46
  get
• 2:46
  their
• 2:46
  taxes
• 2:47
  done
• 2:47
  with
• 2:47
  me,
• 2:48
  and
• 2:48
  they
• 2:48
  would
• 2:48
  panic.
• 2:49
  Ralph.
• 2:49
  They
• 2:49
  said
• 2:49
  the
• 2:50
  taxes
• 2:50
  are
• 2:50
  expensive.
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  got
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  get
• 2:51
  new
• 2:51
  tires
• 2:52
  for
• 2:52
  the
• 2:52
  cars.
• 2:52
  The
• 2:52
  kids
• 2:53
  play
• 2:53
  every
• 2:53
  sport
• 2:53
  under
• 2:54
  the
• 2:54
  sun.
• 2:54
  The
• 2:54
  school
• 2:55
  fees
• 2:55
  are
• 2:55
  outrageous.
• 2:57
  And
• 2:57
  I
• 2:57
  said,
• 2:57
  all
• 2:57
  right,
• 2:58
  you
• 2:58
  want
• 2:58
  to
• 2:58
  break
• 2:58
  that
• 2:58
  cycle?
• 2:59
  You
• 2:59
  want
• 2:59
  to
• 3:00
  stop
• 3:00
  living
• 3:00
  in
• 3:00
  that
• 3:01
  fear,
• 3:01
  that
• 3:01
  worrisome
• 3:02
  fear
• 3:02
  of
• 3:02
  what's
• 3:03
  going
• 3:03
  to
• 3:03
  happen
• 3:03
  next.
• 3:04
  I
• 3:04
  said,
• 3:04
  let's
• 3:04
  take
• 3:05
  a
• 3:05
  few
• 3:05
  minutes
• 3:05
  and
• 3:05
  let's
• 3:06
  list
• 3:06
  all
• 3:06
  these
• 3:06
  bills,
• 3:08
  list
• 3:08
  them
• 3:08
  all
• 3:08
  out.
• 3:09
  And
• 3:09
  then
• 3:09
  what
• 3:09
  we
• 3:09
  can
• 3:09
  do
• 3:09
  is
• 3:09
  we
• 3:09
  can
• 3:09
  spread
• 3:10
  them
• 3:10
  out.
• 3:10
  Monthly.
• 3:11
  And
• 3:11
  he
• 3:11
  said,
• 3:12
  ralph,
• 3:12
  that's
• 3:12
  a
• 3:12
  great
• 3:12
  idea.
• 3:13
  That's
• 3:13
  revolutionary
• 3:14
  for
• 3:14
  us.
• 3:15
  So
• 3:16
  we
• 3:16
  did
• 3:16
  that.
• 3:16
  We
• 3:16
  planned
• 3:17
  everything
• 3:17
  out
• 3:17
  on
• 3:17
  a
• 3:18
  12
• 3:18
  month
• 3:18
  calendar.
• 3:20
  And
• 3:20
  guess
• 3:20
  what?
• 3:21
  When
• 3:21
  they
• 3:21
  came
• 3:22
  to
• 3:22
  see
• 3:22
  me
• 3:22
  next
• 3:22
  year,
• 3:23
  no
• 3:23
  credit
• 3:23
  cards,
• 3:24
  no
• 3:25
  chaos.
• 3:26
  And
• 3:26
  listen,
• 3:27
  they
• 3:27
  didn't
• 3:27
  earn
• 3:27
  more.
• 3:27
  It
• 3:28
  wasn't
• 3:28
  like
• 3:28
  either
• 3:28
  each
• 3:29
  of
• 3:29
  them
• 3:29
  got
• 3:29
  a
• 3:29
  big
• 3:29
  raise
• 3:30
  or
• 3:30
  either
• 3:30
  of
• 3:30
  them
• 3:30
  got
• 3:30
  a
• 3:30
  big
• 3:31
  raise
• 3:31
  for
• 3:31
  that
• 3:31
  matter.
• 3:32
  They
• 3:32
  just
• 3:32
  stopped
• 3:33
  being
• 3:33
  surprised.
• 3:35
  And
• 3:35
  that
• 3:35
  transformation
• 3:37
  was
• 3:38
  to
• 3:38
  calmness.
• 3:39
  So
• 3:40
  let's
• 3:40
  talk
• 3:40
  about
• 3:40
  this.
• 3:40
  Why
• 3:41
  do
• 3:41
  these
• 3:41
  bills
• 3:41
  keep
• 3:42
  blindsiding
• 3:42
  us?
• 3:43
  But
• 3:43
  bigger
• 3:43
  than
• 3:43
  that,
• 3:44
  how
• 3:44
  can
• 3:44
  we
• 3:44
  partner
• 3:44
  with
• 3:45
  God
• 3:45
  to
• 3:45
  see
• 3:45
  ahead
• 3:46
  and
• 3:46
  stay
• 3:47
  steady?
• 3:48
  Because
• 3:48
  we
• 3:48
  gotta
• 3:49
  move
• 3:49
  from
• 3:49
  frustration
• 3:50
  to
• 3:51
  faith
• 3:51
  based
• 3:51
  foresight.
• 3:52
  Here's
• 3:52
  how
• 3:52
  you
• 3:52
  do
• 3:53
  it.
• 3:53
  Number
• 3:53
  one
• 3:54
  thing
• 3:54
  I
• 3:54
  want
• 3:54
  you
• 3:54
  to
• 3:54
  know,
• 3:55
  anticipation
• 3:56
  beats
• 3:56
  reaction.
• 3:58
  Because
• 3:58
  what's
• 3:58
  predictable
• 3:59
  shouldn't
• 4:00
  feel
• 4:00
  painful.
• 4:00
  If
• 4:00
  you
• 4:01
  know
• 4:01
  it's
• 4:01
  coming,
• 4:02
  that
• 4:03
  shouldn't
• 4:03
  be
• 4:03
  painful
• 4:03
  to
• 4:04
  you
• 4:04
  because
• 4:04
  you're
• 4:04
  expecting
• 4:05
  it.
• 4:05
  It's
• 4:05
  on
• 4:05
  the
• 4:05
  horizon.
• 4:06
  Most,
• 4:07
  what
• 4:07
  people
• 4:07
  call
• 4:08
  emergencies
• 4:09
  are
• 4:09
  just
• 4:10
  annual
• 4:10
  bills
• 4:10
  in
• 4:10
  disguise.
• 4:11
  Listen,
• 4:11
  if
• 4:11
  you
• 4:11
  own
• 4:12
  an
• 4:12
  automobile,
• 4:13
  guess
• 4:13
  what's
• 4:13
  going
• 4:13
  to
• 4:13
  happen?
• 4:14
  You're
• 4:14
  going
• 4:14
  to
• 4:14
  have
• 4:14
  to
• 4:14
  replace
• 4:15
  the
• 4:15
  tires
• 4:15
  at
• 4:15
  some
• 4:16
  point.
• 4:16
  If
• 4:16
  you
• 4:17
  own
• 4:17
  an
• 4:17
  automobile,
• 4:17
  like
• 4:18
  right
• 4:18
  now,
• 4:18
  today,
• 4:18
  my
• 4:18
  car
• 4:19
  is
• 4:19
  in
• 4:19
  the
• 4:19
  shop.
• 4:20
  Well,
• 4:20
  guess
• 4:20
  what?
• 4:21
  I
• 4:21
  knew
• 4:21
  that
• 4:21
  was
• 4:21
  coming.
• 4:22
  Every
• 4:22
  3,000
• 4:23
  miles
• 4:23
  or
• 4:23
  every
• 4:24
  5,000
• 4:24
  miles,
• 4:25
  it's
• 4:25
  there.
• 4:26
  Well,
• 4:26
  God
• 4:27
  gives
• 4:27
  us
• 4:27
  foresight.
• 4:28
  God
• 4:29
  gives
• 4:29
  us
• 4:29
  this,
• 4:29
  to
• 4:29
  have
• 4:30
  faith
• 4:30
  in
• 4:30
  action.
• 4:31
  Because
• 4:31
  listen,
• 4:31
  you
• 4:31
  can't
• 4:31
  control
• 4:32
  everything.
• 4:33
  Trust
• 4:34
  me
• 4:34
  on
• 4:34
  this.
• 4:34
  I've
• 4:34
  tried
• 4:35
  to
• 4:35
  do
• 4:35
  that
• 4:35
  my
• 4:35
  entire
• 4:35
  life.
• 4:36
  I
• 4:36
  thought,
• 4:36
  ralph,
• 4:37
  you
• 4:37
  can
• 4:37
  control
• 4:37
  everything.
• 4:37
  You're
• 4:38
  really
• 4:38
  good,
• 4:38
  you're
• 4:38
  a
• 4:38
  micromanager,
• 4:40
  but
• 4:40
  you
• 4:41
  can
• 4:41
  prepare
• 4:41
  wisely.
• 4:43
  Because
• 4:43
  peace
• 4:43
  begins
• 4:44
  when
• 4:44
  you
• 4:44
  stop
• 4:44
  being
• 4:45
  surprised.
• 4:45
  That's
• 4:46
  the
• 4:46
  number
• 4:46
  one
• 4:46
  thing.
• 4:47
  You
• 4:47
  don't
• 4:47
  have
• 4:47
  to
• 4:47
  be
• 4:47
  surprised.
• 4:48
  Number
• 4:48
  two,
• 4:49
  a
• 4:49
  lot
• 4:49
  of
• 4:50
  people
• 4:50
  say,
• 4:50
  great,
• 4:50
  Ralph,
• 4:50
  okay,
• 4:51
  I
• 4:51
  can
• 4:51
  put
• 4:51
  a
• 4:51
  forecast
• 4:52
  together,
• 4:53
  but
• 4:53
  they're
• 4:53
  missing
• 4:53
  a
• 4:54
  piece.
• 4:54
  You
• 4:55
  got
• 4:55
  to
• 4:55
  do
• 4:55
  it
• 4:55
  with
• 4:55
  faith.
• 4:56
  See,
• 4:56
  forecasting
• 4:57
  isn't
• 4:57
  fear.
• 4:58
  Lot
• 4:59
  of
• 4:59
  people
• 4:59
  get
• 4:59
  stuck
• 4:59
  in
• 4:59
  that.
• 4:59
  Well,
• 5:00
  I'm
• 5:00
  scared
• 5:00
  this
• 5:01
  is
• 5:01
  going
• 5:01
  to
• 5:01
  happen
• 5:01
  and
• 5:01
  this
• 5:01
  is
• 5:01
  going
• 5:02
  to
• 5:02
  happen
• 5:02
  in
• 5:02
  the
• 5:02
  roof,
• 5:02
  on
• 5:03
  the
• 5:03
  house,
• 5:03
  and
• 5:03
  this
• 5:03
  and
• 5:03
  that.
• 5:04
  I
• 5:04
  get
• 5:04
  it.
• 5:05
  But
• 5:06
  forecasting
• 5:06
  doesn't
• 5:07
  need
• 5:07
  to
• 5:07
  be
• 5:07
  fear,
• 5:07
  it's
• 5:07
  stewardship.
• 5:10
  Take
• 5:10
  a
• 5:10
  second
• 5:10
  look
• 5:11
  back
• 5:11
  at
• 5:11
  last
• 5:11
  year's
• 5:12
  statements,
• 5:13
  because
• 5:13
  your
• 5:13
  future
• 5:14
  is
• 5:14
  hidden
• 5:14
  in
• 5:14
  your
• 5:15
  history.
• 5:15
  A
• 5:15
  lot
• 5:15
  of
• 5:15
  people
• 5:15
  don't
• 5:16
  get
• 5:16
  that.
• 5:16
  When
• 5:16
  I
• 5:16
  work
• 5:16
  with
• 5:16
  people
• 5:17
  to
• 5:17
  help
• 5:17
  them
• 5:17
  break
• 5:17
  that
• 5:18
  cycle
• 5:18
  of
• 5:18
  financial
• 5:18
  shame,
• 5:19
  the
• 5:19
  first
• 5:19
  thing
• 5:19
  I
• 5:19
  do
• 5:20
  is
• 5:20
  say
• 5:20
  to
• 5:20
  them,
• 5:21
  let's
• 5:21
  talk
• 5:21
  about
• 5:21
  what
• 5:22
  happened
• 5:22
  in
• 5:22
  the
• 5:22
  past.
• 5:24
  So
• 5:24
  you
• 5:24
  can
• 5:24
  write
• 5:24
  down
• 5:25
  five
• 5:25
  big
• 5:26
  20,
• 5:26
  26
• 5:27
  expenses
• 5:27
  right
• 5:27
  now,
• 5:27
  because
• 5:28
  you've
• 5:28
  already
• 5:28
  experienced
• 5:28
  these.
• 5:29
  Maybe
• 5:29
  it's
• 5:29
  taxes,
• 5:30
  maybe
• 5:31
  it's
• 5:31
  your
• 5:31
  automobile
• 5:32
  insurance
• 5:32
  or
• 5:32
  your
• 5:32
  homeowner's
• 5:33
  insurance.
• 5:33
  Maybe
• 5:33
  your
• 5:33
  car.
• 5:34
  You
• 5:34
  know,
• 5:34
  this
• 5:34
  car
• 5:35
  is
• 5:35
  getting
• 5:35
  to
• 5:35
  be
• 5:36
  a
• 5:36
  maintenance
• 5:36
  nightmare.
• 5:38
  Maybe
• 5:38
  it's
• 5:38
  school
• 5:39
  costs.
• 5:39
  Hey,
• 5:39
  maybe
• 5:40
  every
• 5:40
  summer
• 5:40
  you
• 5:40
  travel,
• 5:42
  if
• 5:42
  you
• 5:42
  know
• 5:43
  those
• 5:43
  things
• 5:43
  now,
• 5:44
  you
• 5:44
  can
• 5:44
  assign
• 5:45
  them
• 5:45
  to
• 5:45
  months
• 5:45
  and
• 5:45
  divide
• 5:46
  that
• 5:46
  by
• 5:46
  12
• 5:46
  and
• 5:46
  start
• 5:47
  building
• 5:47
  up
• 5:47
  a
• 5:48
  buffer
• 5:48
  for
• 5:48
  that.
• 5:49
  You
• 5:49
  think
• 5:49
  about
• 5:50
  it
• 5:50
  like
• 5:50
  this.
• 5:50
  Let's
• 5:50
  say
• 5:50
  you've
• 5:50
  got
• 5:51
  this
• 5:51
  insurance
• 5:51
  bill
• 5:52
  every
• 5:52
  year.
• 5:52
  That's
• 5:52
  $1,200.
• 5:54
  Well,
• 5:54
  if
• 5:54
  you
• 5:54
  wait
• 5:55
  till
• 5:55
  April,
• 5:55
  when
• 5:55
  the
• 5:55
  bill
• 5:56
  comes
• 5:56
  in,
• 5:56
  guess
• 5:56
  what
• 5:56
  happens?
• 5:57
  You
• 5:57
  panic.
• 5:58
  But
• 5:58
  if
• 5:58
  you
• 5:58
  say,
• 5:59
  wait
• 5:59
  a
• 5:59
  second,
• 5:59
  I
• 5:59
  know
• 6:00
  this.
• 6:00
  Every
• 6:00
  April,
• 6:00
  it's
• 6:01
  $1,200.
• 6:02
  Well,
• 6:02
  listen,
• 6:02
  if
• 6:02
  I
• 6:02
  put
• 6:02
  aside
• 6:03
  a
• 6:03
  hundred
• 6:03
  dollars
• 6:04
  each
• 6:04
  month,
• 6:05
  all
• 6:05
  of
• 6:06
  a
• 6:06
  sudden
• 6:06
  it's
• 6:06
  doable.
• 6:07
  And
• 6:08
  see,
• 6:08
  that's
• 6:08
  where
• 6:08
  faith
• 6:09
  meets
• 6:09
  math
• 6:10
  right
• 6:10
  there.
• 6:11
  Nothing
• 6:11
  I'm
• 6:12
  encouraging
• 6:12
  to
• 6:12
  do
• 6:13
  name
• 6:13
  it
• 6:13
  to
• 6:13
  protect
• 6:14
  it.
• 6:16
  See,
• 6:16
  a
• 6:16
  lot
• 6:16
  of
• 6:16
  people
• 6:16
  don't
• 6:17
  understand
• 6:17
  this.
• 6:18
  Separate
• 6:18
  money
• 6:19
  for
• 6:19
  purpose.
• 6:20
  It
• 6:21
  equals
• 6:21
  peace.
• 6:22
  So
• 6:22
  a
• 6:22
  lot
• 6:23
  of
• 6:23
  people
• 6:23
  say,
• 6:23
  well,
• 6:23
  I
• 6:23
  don't
• 6:24
  understand.
• 6:24
  What
• 6:24
  do
• 6:24
  you
• 6:24
  mean?
• 6:24
  Okay,
• 6:25
  create
• 6:25
  sub
• 6:25
  accounts
• 6:26
  in
• 6:26
  your
• 6:26
  own
• 6:26
  mind.
• 6:27
  Because
• 6:28
  if
• 6:28
  you
• 6:28
  just
• 6:28
  have
• 6:28
  this
• 6:29
  big
• 6:29
  category,
• 6:29
  well,
• 6:30
  this
• 6:30
  is
• 6:30
  our
• 6:30
  entertainment
• 6:31
  budget.
• 6:31
  This
• 6:32
  is
• 6:32
  our
• 6:32
  repairs
• 6:32
  budget.
• 6:34
  But
• 6:34
  the
• 6:34
  problem
• 6:34
  is,
• 6:34
  that
• 6:34
  becomes
• 6:35
  overwhelming.
• 6:36
  So
• 6:36
  separate
• 6:36
  down,
• 6:37
  break
• 6:37
  it
• 6:37
  down.
• 6:37
  Maybe
• 6:37
  your
• 6:38
  property
• 6:38
  tax
• 6:38
  bill
• 6:38
  is
• 6:39
  so
• 6:39
  much
• 6:39
  each
• 6:39
  year,
• 6:40
  maybe
• 6:40
  your
• 6:40
  insurance
• 6:41
  is
• 6:41
  this,
• 6:41
  maybe
• 6:41
  your
• 6:41
  cars
• 6:42
  are
• 6:42
  in
• 6:42
  are
• 6:42
  this
• 6:43
  much.
• 6:44
  But
• 6:44
  name
• 6:44
  it.
• 6:44
  Because
• 6:45
  when
• 6:45
  you
• 6:45
  name
• 6:45
  it,
• 6:45
  you
• 6:45
  protect
• 6:46
  it.
• 6:47
  When
• 6:47
  it's
• 6:47
  set
• 6:47
  apart,
• 6:48
  you're
• 6:48
  less
• 6:48
  tempted
• 6:48
  to
• 6:48
  spend
• 6:49
  it.
• 6:50
  See,
• 6:50
  organization,
• 6:51
  this
• 6:51
  thing
• 6:51
  we're
• 6:51
  talking
• 6:51
  about,
• 6:51
  this
• 6:52
  organization
• 6:52
  is
• 6:53
  spiritual.
• 6:54
  If
• 6:54
  you
• 6:54
  don't
• 6:55
  know
• 6:55
  anything
• 6:55
  else
• 6:55
  about
• 6:55
  God,
• 6:56
  God
• 6:56
  is
• 6:56
  a
• 6:56
  God
• 6:56
  of
• 6:56
  order.
• 6:59
  And
• 6:59
  it
• 6:59
  works
• 6:59
  that
• 6:59
  way.
• 7:01
  Organization
• 7:01
  is
• 7:02
  spiritual.
• 7:02
  It
• 7:02
  reflects
• 7:03
  God's
• 7:04
  order.
• 7:05
  Another
• 7:05
  thing
• 7:05
  I'm
• 7:05
  encouraging
• 7:06
  to
• 7:06
  do,
• 7:07
  you
• 7:07
  gotta
• 7:07
  revise
• 7:08
  and
• 7:08
  review
• 7:08
  this
• 7:09
  regularly.
• 7:09
  Stewardship
• 7:10
  is
• 7:10
  active.
• 7:10
  It's
• 7:11
  not
• 7:11
  passive.
• 7:11
  You
• 7:11
  don't
• 7:11
  put
• 7:11
  this
• 7:12
  on
• 7:12
  autopilot,
• 7:13
  you
• 7:13
  know,
• 7:13
  say,
• 7:13
  okay,
• 7:13
  next
• 7:14
  year.
• 7:14
  Ralph
• 7:14
  already
• 7:14
  told
• 7:15
  me,
• 7:15
  list
• 7:15
  out
• 7:15
  my
• 7:15
  big
• 7:16
  expenses,
• 7:16
  and
• 7:16
  then
• 7:16
  I'm
• 7:16
  going
• 7:17
  to
• 7:17
  put
• 7:17
  it
• 7:17
  on
• 7:17
  autopilot.
• 7:17
  And
• 7:18
  I'm
• 7:18
  not
• 7:18
  going
• 7:18
  to
• 7:18
  look
• 7:18
  at
• 7:18
  it.
• 7:18
  It
• 7:19
  doesn't
• 7:19
  work
• 7:19
  that
• 7:19
  way.
• 7:20
  You've
• 7:20
  got
• 7:20
  to
• 7:20
  review
• 7:21
  this
• 7:21
  at
• 7:21
  least
• 7:21
  once
• 7:22
  a
• 7:22
  quarter
• 7:23
  and
• 7:23
  life
• 7:23
  changes.
• 7:25
  And
• 7:25
  you
• 7:25
  got
• 7:25
  to
• 7:25
  be
• 7:25
  willing
• 7:25
  to
• 7:26
  adjust.
• 7:26
  You
• 7:26
  got
• 7:26
  to
• 7:26
  be
• 7:26
  willing
• 7:27
  to
• 7:27
  shift
• 7:27
  that.
• 7:27
  That's
• 7:28
  what
• 7:28
  wisdom's
• 7:28
  about.
• 7:29
  It's
• 7:29
  not
• 7:30
  about
• 7:30
  failure.
• 7:30
  It's
• 7:30
  about
• 7:30
  going
• 7:31
  back
• 7:31
  and
• 7:31
  saying,
• 7:31
  okay,
• 7:31
  I
• 7:31
  planned
• 7:32
  this,
• 7:32
  but
• 7:32
  guess
• 7:33
  what?
• 7:33
  It
• 7:33
  didn't
• 7:33
  work
• 7:33
  out.
• 7:34
  Those
• 7:35
  forecasts
• 7:35
  are
• 7:36
  faith
• 7:36
  plans.
• 7:36
  They're
• 7:37
  not
• 7:37
  perfection
• 7:37
  plans.
• 7:39
  God
• 7:39
  wants
• 7:39
  you
• 7:40
  to
• 7:40
  rely
• 7:40
  on
• 7:40
  Him,
• 7:40
  God
• 7:41
  has
• 7:41
  already
• 7:41
  promised
• 7:41
  you
• 7:42
  to
• 7:42
  take
• 7:42
  care
• 7:42
  of
• 7:42
  it,
• 7:43
  but
• 7:44
  you've
• 7:44
  got
• 7:44
  to
• 7:44
  be
• 7:44
  flexible
• 7:45
  because
• 7:45
  that
• 7:46
  flexibility
• 7:46
  keeps
• 7:47
  peace
• 7:47
  intact.
• 7:48
  Let's
• 7:48
  get
• 7:49
  to
• 7:49
  our
• 7:49
  Bible
• 7:49
  verse
• 7:49
  today.
• 7:49
  It
• 7:50
  comes
• 7:50
  to
• 7:50
  us
• 7:50
  from
• 7:50
  the
• 7:50
  book
• 7:50
  of
• 7:50
  Luke,
• 7:51
  chapter
• 7:51
  14,
• 7:52
  verse
• 7:52
  28.
• 7:53
  It
• 7:54
  says,
• 7:54
  Suppose
• 7:54
  one
• 7:54
  of
• 7:54
  you
• 7:54
  wants
• 7:55
  to
• 7:55
  build
• 7:55
  a
• 7:55
  tower.
• 7:56
  Won't
• 7:56
  you
• 7:56
  first
• 7:56
  sit
• 7:57
  down
• 7:57
  and
• 7:57
  estimate
• 7:58
  the
• 7:58
  cost?
• 7:59
  And
• 7:59
  I
• 8:00
  think
• 8:00
  this
• 8:00
  is
• 8:00
  perfect,
• 8:00
  because
• 8:01
  here
• 8:01
  a
• 8:01
  lot
• 8:01
  of
• 8:01
  people
• 8:02
  say,
• 8:02
  well,
• 8:02
  Ralph,
• 8:02
  the
• 8:03
  Bible
• 8:03
  doesn't
• 8:03
  talk
• 8:03
  about
• 8:03
  math.
• 8:04
  Well,
• 8:04
  Jesus
• 8:04
  is
• 8:04
  talking
• 8:05
  about
• 8:05
  math
• 8:05
  right
• 8:06
  here,
• 8:07
  but
• 8:07
  that's
• 8:08
  not
• 8:08
  exactly
• 8:08
  what
• 8:08
  he's
• 8:09
  talking
• 8:09
  about.
• 8:10
  Yes,
• 8:10
  he's
• 8:11
  talking
• 8:11
  about
• 8:11
  math,
• 8:11
  but
• 8:11
  he's
• 8:12
  talking
• 8:12
  about
• 8:12
  mindfulness.
• 8:13
  He's
• 8:14
  talking
• 8:14
  about
• 8:14
  planning.
• 8:15
  He's
• 8:16
  talking
• 8:16
  about
• 8:16
  removing
• 8:17
  that
• 8:17
  doubt.
• 8:18
  And
• 8:18
  when
• 8:18
  you
• 8:19
  remove
• 8:19
  that
• 8:19
  doubt,
• 8:20
  that's
• 8:20
  really
• 8:20
  leaning
• 8:21
  into
• 8:21
  devotion.
• 8:22
  And
• 8:22
  devotion
• 8:23
  is
• 8:23
  where
• 8:24
  the
• 8:24
  resolution
• 8:24
  to
• 8:24
  this
• 8:25
  we
• 8:25
  start
• 8:25
  off
• 8:25
  the
• 8:25
  question,
• 8:26
  how
• 8:26
  do
• 8:26
  I
• 8:27
  stop
• 8:27
  panicking
• 8:28
  about
• 8:28
  these
• 8:28
  big
• 8:29
  bills?
• 8:30
  It's
• 8:30
  about
• 8:30
  planning,
• 8:31
  removing
• 8:32
  doubt,
• 8:32
  and
• 8:32
  living
• 8:33
  in
• 8:33
  devotion.
• 8:33
  How
• 8:33
  about
• 8:33
  we
• 8:34
  pray
• 8:34
  together,
• 8:35
  Lord?
• 8:35
  We
• 8:35
  come
• 8:35
  to
• 8:36
  you
• 8:36
  right
• 8:36
  now
• 8:36
  and
• 8:36
  we.
• 8:36
  We're
• 8:37
  fearful
• 8:37
  of
• 8:38
  these
• 8:38
  big
• 8:38
  things
• 8:38
  that
• 8:39
  happen
• 8:39
  in
• 8:39
  our
• 8:39
  lives,
• 8:39
  Lord,
• 8:39
  but
• 8:40
  we
• 8:40
  ask
• 8:40
  that
• 8:40
  you
• 8:40
  would
• 8:40
  give
• 8:40
  us
• 8:41
  vision
• 8:41
  to
• 8:41
  see
• 8:42
  ahead,
• 8:42
  Lord.
• 8:42
  We're
• 8:42
  not
• 8:42
  talking
• 8:43
  about
• 8:43
  the
• 8:43
  ability
• 8:43
  to
• 8:44
  see
• 8:44
  the
• 8:44
  future,
• 8:44
  Lord,
• 8:44
  but
• 8:45
  just
• 8:45
  help
• 8:45
  us
• 8:45
  to
• 8:45
  understand
• 8:46
  what
• 8:46
  to
• 8:46
  expect
• 8:48
  and
• 8:48
  grant
• 8:48
  me
• 8:48
  consistency
• 8:49
  to
• 8:49
  fund
• 8:49
  those
• 8:50
  things
• 8:50
  faithfully.
• 8:51
  And
• 8:51
  Lord,
• 8:52
  as
• 8:52
  I
• 8:52
  do
• 8:52
  that,
• 8:52
  teach
• 8:53
  me
• 8:53
  contentment
• 8:54
  while
• 8:54
  I
• 8:54
  wait
• 8:54
  on
• 8:54
  your
• 8:55
  perfect
• 8:55
  timing.
• 8:55
  And
• 8:55
  we
• 8:56
  ask
• 8:56
  this
• 8:56
  in
• 8:56
  the
• 8:57
  name
• 8:57
  of
• 8:57
  Jesus.
• 8:58
  Amen.
• 8:59
  All
• 8:59
  right,
• 8:59
  you
• 8:59
  Ready
• 9:00
  for
• 9:00
  your
• 9:00
  1
• 9:00
  action
• 9:00
  item
• 9:00
  today?
• 9:01
  I
• 9:01
  want
• 9:01
  you
• 9:02
  to
• 9:02
  go
• 9:02
  and
• 9:02
  look
• 9:02
  at
• 9:03
  your
• 9:03
  books
• 9:04
  from
• 9:04
  this
• 9:04
  past
• 9:04
  year,
• 9:04
  20,
• 9:05
  25,
• 9:06
  and
• 9:06
  find
• 9:07
  five
• 9:07
  major
• 9:08
  expenses.
• 9:09
  These
• 9:09
  are
• 9:09
  the
• 9:09
  things
• 9:09
  that
• 9:09
  you
• 9:10
  know,
• 9:10
  these
• 9:10
  are
• 9:10
  the
• 9:10
  ones
• 9:11
  that
• 9:11
  you're
• 9:11
  not
• 9:11
  expecting.
• 9:11
  But
• 9:12
  that
• 9:12
  bill
• 9:12
  comes
• 9:12
  in,
• 9:12
  you
• 9:12
  start
• 9:12
  to
• 9:13
  panic.
• 9:13
  Find
• 9:13
  those
• 9:14
  five
• 9:14
  things,
• 9:15
  and
• 9:15
  I
• 9:16
  want
• 9:16
  you
• 9:16
  to
• 9:16
  simply
• 9:16
  divide
• 9:17
  that
• 9:17
  monthly
• 9:18
  and
• 9:18
  create
• 9:19
  a
• 9:19
  little
• 9:19
  budget
• 9:20
  for
• 9:20
  yourself.
• 9:20
  And
• 9:21
  listen,
• 9:21
  I'm
• 9:21
  going
• 9:21
  to
• 9:21
  encourage
• 9:22
  you.
• 9:22
  Open
• 9:22
  up
• 9:22
  those
• 9:23
  sub
• 9:23
  accounts
• 9:23
  for
• 9:23
  each.
• 9:24
  Lay
• 9:24
  it
• 9:24
  out
• 9:24
  there,
• 9:25
  name
• 9:25
  it
• 9:25
  so
• 9:25
  you
• 9:25
  know
• 9:25
  what
• 9:26
  it
• 9:26
  is.
• 9:27
  And
• 9:27
  then
• 9:27
  I
• 9:27
  want
• 9:27
  you
• 9:27
  to
• 9:28
  take
• 9:28
  a
• 9:28
  minute
• 9:28
  and
• 9:28
  celebrate.
• 9:29
  Because
• 9:29
  what
• 9:30
  you've
• 9:30
  done
• 9:30
  right
• 9:30
  there
• 9:30
  is
• 9:31
  you've
• 9:31
  turned
• 9:31
  anxiety
• 9:32
  into
• 9:32
  anticipation.
• 9:33
  Yes,
• 9:34
  you're
• 9:34
  ready.
• 9:35
  Listen,
• 9:36
  this
• 9:36
  isn't
• 9:36
  some
• 9:36
  big
• 9:37
  piece
• 9:37
  of
• 9:37
  homework.
• 9:38
  It's
• 9:38
  just
• 9:38
  a
• 9:38
  friendly
• 9:39
  challenge.
• 9:40
  And
• 9:40
  if
• 9:41
  today's
• 9:41
  episode
• 9:41
  helped
• 9:41
  you
• 9:42
  breathe
• 9:42
  a
• 9:42
  little
• 9:42
  easier,
• 9:43
  I
• 9:43
  want
• 9:43
  to
• 9:43
  encourage
• 9:43
  you
• 9:43
  to
• 9:44
  do
• 9:44
  something.
• 9:44
  I
• 9:44
  want
• 9:44
  you
• 9:44
  to
• 9:44
  join
• 9:45
  our
• 9:45
  financially
• 9:45
  confident
• 9:46
  Christian
• 9:46

• 9:46
  I've
• 9:47
  been
• 9:47
  talking
• 9:47
  about
• 9:47
  this
• 9:48
  for
• 9:48
  the
• 9:48
  last
• 9:48
  couple
• 9:48
  days
• 9:48
  on
• 9:49
  the
• 9:49
  show,
• 9:49
  and
• 9:49
  we're
• 9:49
  really
• 9:49
  excited
• 9:50
  about
• 9:50
  this.
• 9:50
  It's
• 9:50
  still
• 9:50
  growing.
• 9:51
  So
• 9:51
  when
• 9:51
  you
• 9:51
  go
• 9:51
  over
• 9:51
  there
• 9:52
  and
• 9:52
  visit.
• 9:52
  We
• 9:52
  don't
• 9:52
  have
• 9:52
  a
• 9:52
  lot
• 9:53
  of
• 9:53
  people
• 9:53
  there
• 9:53
  yet
• 9:53
  but
• 9:53
  you
• 9:54
  could
• 9:54
  be

• 9:55
  in

  I

  close
• 10:20

• 10:21
  God's
• 10:21

  asking
• 10:22
  you
• 10:22
  to
• 10:22

• 10:29
  That's
• 10:30
  a
• 10:30
  key
• 10:30

• 10:31
  You're
