What happened
AlterNet reports that Seth Meyers mocked President Donald Trump after Trump told reporters, following early voting in Florida on an unspecified Saturday, that his uncle John G. Trump “invented radar.” The article says John G. Trump was a respected MIT professor who worked on radar during World War II but did not invent it. Meyers used the false claim to ridicule Trump’s repeated boasts about passing cognitive tests.
