- 0:02Jeez, James, what is this, Mama Jama going on? We're coming
- 0:06on? Is it weird? We do it every Monday. Everybody's always doing
- 0:11something somebody You're like, hang on, is it weird that I am I
- 0:14the only one that does this. I was gonna start, but James,
- 0:17you've got me hook light and sinker. What is going on? You at
- 0:20so offended somebody over the weekend. I don't know if I offended her,
- 0:23but she did leave right after I mentioned it. So I went to visit
- 0:27my cousin. He lives outside of Fergus Falls in Underwood, Minnesota. Shout
- 0:30out to the Rockets. Yes you know where that is? Of course I
- 0:33do, and uh, we were hanging out outside. It was my cousin's
- 0:38wife's friend and her son were outside and somehow the topic of uh, well
- 0:42the kid, Oh, the kid had to go to the bathroom before they
- 0:44left, right, Yeah, he lives out outside of town. So I
- 0:48was like, hey, go behind the barn, right, And then the
- 0:51topic went from that to standing up versus sitting, and then I was like,
- 0:54yeah, I'll only stand up if I'm outside doing it, but if
- 0:58I'm inside, if i'm toilet sitting, you sit for number one two constantly
- 1:03always, Really, I mean, why stand when you can set? It's
- 1:07a comfort issue. I am intrigued by this. Yeah, I am.
- 1:11The splashing and all that. It's just like too much. Yeah, I
- 1:15don't understand why people don't. It's weird when people don't like wipe this seat
- 1:19down at all after or before after for sure. Yeah, it's just interesting.
- 1:25I think that is a little bit. I think the dudes everywhere else.
- 1:27I think most dudes are standing. Yeah. No, I don't know
- 1:30if they're going to take your man card, but that is there's a urinal
- 1:34option I will stand, of course. I'm not gonna see. Are you
- 1:37you're just doing a squat manuversity you can get comfortable or are you the guy
- 1:44who's like sneaking in the girl's room just so you can sit down it's comfy.
- 1:49There's nothing comfy about being on a toilet seat. Well, it's more
- 1:52comfy than standing a man as my point. See, and all of us
- 1:53ladies are like, I wish it was that easy, that we could just
- 1:56stand and get then you don't have to touch anything. You're just good.
- 1:59But because you got to clean it up, you go under the wipie.
- 2:01Yeah, well i'd like to think. So, Yeah, I'm gonna go
- 2:05that's a little weird. All right, Fine, I'm not gonna stop.
- 2:08Hey, you do you That's the whole point. I can't be the only
- 2:14one that has. Do you have a dream that's just reoccurring all the time?
- 2:17No, you don't. I have one, and it has to do
- 2:22with college that I did not graduate. It sounds so dumb because I always
- 2:28feel like I just have like one more credit left, and then I'm like,
- 2:30did I ever get my degree? I mean to the point, like
- 2:32I questioned myself did I graduate from college? And I did? Has it
- 2:36gotten so bad where you've looked for your diploma? No? But I remember
- 2:38I have a picture of me graduating and going through it all. But I
- 2:43have this reoccurring dream and it gives me anxiety when I wake up because I
- 2:46have to like re goo through everything in my life to make sure that hey,
- 2:51and at this point doesn't matter no, like I've got I'm doing my
- 2:54thing. But I go back and I have this dream a few times a
- 2:59year and it just makes me so anxious. I also get a dream when
- 3:02I'm really, really really sick. I have the same dream it started when
- 3:07I was little, that I am trapped in like think of a maze.
- 3:12It's with dots and I can't get out, and I'm just I run into
- 3:15these dots and I can't get out, and it's like suffocating in at me
- 3:21every single time. And I don't know if it's if I have a fever
- 3:23or what, but I have the same couple of dreams my whole life.
- 3:27It would be, it would be. It's super weird, especially the pinball
- 3:30I think worse than the college one. Feels like it's you know, obviously
- 3:35you cheated the whole way through college, so it doesn't feel like you actually
- 3:39did anything right because you didn't. Oh whatever, technically oh wait, that's
- 3:43me. But the dots is definitely weirder. I think we should get someone
- 3:47if we anybody knows an artist seven to one two one, Yeah, I
- 3:52want them to animate your dreams. How fun would that be? This is
- 3:55really bizarre. I want to see like cartoon Amanda being rushed by the dots.
- 4:00Oh, I thought you were going to have somebody like call in if
- 4:02they know, like what the dreams mean? What does it mean when I'm
- 4:06seeing in poking dots well stick. I also just want to see that.
- 4:11I want to be able to pull it up on the screen and be like,
- 4:13this is what Amanda seasonside her head. It's just weird. He just
- 4:15gives me like he be gebs and I don't feel like I'm ever gonna get
- 4:19out, and I start like getting shake and I want to cry. Do
- 4:23you ever while you're dreaming? Do you ever go oh, this is a
- 4:25dream And then you're like, oh, I'm fine. That usually happens to
- 4:28me when I'm dreaming before I wake. I have so many real life dreams,
- 4:30like if something's going on in the office, I'll have a dream like
- 4:33I had an argument with this person. I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 4:35I told I told you no, No, that was just in my stop
- 4:40taking your work home with you. Man. You let it go girl,
- 4:44like in a minute in the morning. Big nutty eight point seven. All
- 4:48right, there is a dad who wants to know am I a tool?
- 4:53Am I being a tool? Probably? Let me give you the background.
- 4:57So he is forty three, His wife is forty one. He shares a
- 5:01daughter with his ex who passed away. His daughter is twenty one, out
- 5:04at college. Long story short, His new wife. She's kind of a
- 5:10happy, go lucky, not a structured person. Let's go type B.
- 5:13He's super type A. If they're going somewhere, he wants to be there
- 5:17four hours early. He wants to make sure everything is ready to go,
- 5:21and they do. If you will, yeah, exactly. So long story
- 5:26short, they had a trip plan to go see his daughter, okay,
- 5:29and they ended up missing their flight. This was a few months ago.
- 5:32They got flights for the next day, but they basically missed a full Friday
- 5:35on Saturday with his daughter, and he was just really upset about that.
- 5:39So it's kind of been an ongoing joke. But they just booked another flight,
- 5:44same exact situation, but he knew. He's like, I want to
- 5:46get here early. I don't want to have to run into any of these
- 5:48problems. I want to be able to spend this quality time with my daughter.
- 5:51She was all planned for it. They get to the airport, everything
- 5:57is going smoothly. She decides she wants to grab a cup of coffee.
- 6:00So they're at the concourse and there's a little coffee stand right there, but
- 6:04this mom wanted Starbucks, so she had to go all the way across the
- 6:10terminal in order to go and get the Starbucks. Okay, okay. He
- 6:15keeps calling her. He can't get a hold of her. They call their
- 6:18section. He's waiting there. He keeps saying, hey, we're about to
- 6:23board, We're about to board. She's not answering, not answering the phone.
- 6:28He waits by the gate until it closes and is begging, like,
- 6:31my wife went to go get a cup of coffee, she'll be here.
- 6:34And they look at him and they're like, we got a goal, decision,
- 6:38we got a goal. Yep. He makes the decision to jump on
- 6:42that airplane. Of course he does not have any phone service now because yeah,
- 6:46gotta shut that phone down. He takes off. He did send her
- 6:50a text before he left and said, I got on this flight because I
- 6:55want to spend time with her. Go ahead, rebook get a different ticket,
- 7:00and we'll meet you at the airport whenever you can get back in Like,
- 7:01this is it. I'm not gonna sit here and miss a flight and
- 7:04wait for you. I want to go see our daughter. Am I a
- 7:10chool? Because he then she gets the flight, goes there, barely talks
- 7:15to him, gets home, hasn't talked to him for about a week.
- 7:18Yeah, I think I think he's in the right here. I agree.
- 7:24I thought we were going to fight, I know, kind of hoping I
- 7:27was gonna go that way. But now I feel like you're just doing this
- 7:30on purpose. I don't know. It feels icky to me. It's not
- 7:32that it's just a cup of coffee. I mean, it's all of those
- 7:36things, like you made a really poor choice. Yeah. I don't even
- 7:41have anything to say. I think bravo to him. The only thing that
- 7:44I would say is if he starts apologizing to her at some point. So
- 7:46that's that's the internet kind of split in half because there are people saying that
- 7:50he owes her an apology. You shouldn't be ditching your wife no matter what.
- 7:55Now, she had to go do this all on her own. She
- 7:57made the choice. She wanted the coffee, Yeah, she did to me.
- 8:01Yeah, and then you're gonna have to explain that to your daughter,
- 8:03like, I'm sorry, she needed her coffee and we weren't able to come
- 8:05spend an extra couple of days with you. She needed her coffee, especially
- 8:11because you said there's a coffee stand like right there, but she needed Star
- 8:13Starbucks. I mean that already kind of shows and I'm not trying to be
- 8:16rude. Just if you're the five that she is putting out there is annoying.
- 8:20If you're that into Starbucks, I'm gonna need to not be married to
- 8:24you at that point. So what? And then there's people who are no.
- 8:26But there are some people on here saying that even though you guys have
- 8:30been together and she's been a part of your family, that this is grounds
- 8:33for divorce if she can't let this go, Like, can we find somewhere
- 8:37in the middle. No, I don't think there's a divorce situation going on.
- 8:41But I also think that this woman needs to She hasn't talked to him
- 8:46for a week. She's never gonna let him live it down, and it's
- 8:50going to cause a divorce in five years. So you might as well just
- 8:52pull the band aid off. Divorce it up right now. Jeez, moving
- 8:56on. Stop. No, I don't think it's that bad. You put
- 8:58that in your buy for tender. How big of a fan like you have
- 9:01to rank how big of a fan you are of Starbucks? Because that's gonna
- 9:03be a problem. I will miss a flight for Starbucks. Meanwhile, Starbucks
- 9:07is like, hey would you like to would you like free coffee for a
- 9:09year. Oh that's a good idea. Oh gosh, coffee. This woman,
- 9:13I think we can all agree he's not being a tool. So,
- 9:16but a man like you totally think that he's not to it. But if
- 9:20it was literally you in the airport and you were just like sipping your little
- 9:22coffee and you've gotten like, oh, everyone's gone, would you have would
- 9:26you be a little piss though? No? Because I I am this guy.
- 9:30I'm the type A. I'm like, you gotta get to the airport
- 9:33early. I'm the one sitting there waiting for everything. So I'm on this
- 9:35guy's relatable. Do you go to hector two hours earlier? Yeah? And
- 9:39my husband's like, you can just roll up in fifteen minutes. Yeah,
- 9:43And I need to travel together. I have anxiety the whole time. And
- 9:46he's like, no, we got time for a beer. It's just right
- 9:48over here. I'm like, no, we gotta get on this flight.
- 9:52You just send up sitting there for three hours? Where's the play? Yeah,
- 9:54with everybody's butts in my face, I'm like, okay, cool,
- 9:56you can sit down now. Worth it worth every second? I'm team dad
- 10:01here. One hundred percent. Oh, I'm team daddy too. I love
- 10:05this daddy. I get a minute in the morning, all right. We
- 10:11were just talking about this woman, and we've got to get some stuff out
- 10:16here because there are ladies that are fired up. So what ended up happening?
- 10:18As a dad wrote in and basically said, am I being a tool?
- 10:22He has a daughter who's twenty one years old. He has been remarried
- 10:26to this woman who's been a part of his daughter's life since she was six,
- 10:30so basically co parenting her along with it. So it's her stepdaughter.
- 10:33But still this woman just does not seem to want to be on time for
- 10:39anything. The dad is basically relaying, we missed a flight a couple of
- 10:43months ago. We missed two days with my daughter when we went to go
- 10:46visit her because she's at college. So this go around, I wanted to
- 10:50make sure I was going to be at the airport early. I wanted to
- 10:52be there so we could get on this flight together. She decided, and
- 10:56I quote, there was coffee at the stand right by art concourse, she
- 11:01took the terminal to go over because she wanted Starbucks. She knew what was
- 11:05going to take a long time, she ended up not answering the phone.
- 11:09He was boarding, she wasn't picking up. He tried to get them to
- 11:13wait for her, she wasn't answering the phone. He decided he's jumping on
- 11:16the plane. I'm going to see my daughter. If you're not going to
- 11:18be back here, I don't know what to do. Center a nice little
- 11:20text that simply said, yep, I'm leaving. Rebook your ticket. I'll
- 11:26be here to pick you up at the airport. Whenever you get there.
- 11:28Everything go buy Felicia, I mean basically, because what is he going to
- 11:31do sit there and miss the flight as well? Absolutely not, he's in
- 11:37the right. But seven one two eight, one ninety eight seven a lot
- 11:39of people fired up about this bad boy. Yeah, we've got Shantia saying
- 11:43he is absolutely in the right. How entitled are you that you had to
- 11:48have Starbucks and miss the flight? And why isn't she answering his calls and
- 11:52text? She did that on purpose? Oh MG, I am so irritated.
- 11:58I'm sorry, Shanty. I go the same way though, and sometimes
- 12:01people get a little too much anxiety around the phone. It's like, oh,
- 12:03you're ignoring me on purpose. It is possible that that is not true.
- 12:07It's she kept it in the purse. But either way, if you
- 12:09have literally zero awareness of the time in the world around you, then you
- 12:13deserve to have these things happen to you sometimes and you should not be mad.
- 12:16Yeah. We also had somebody chime in because she's not even talking to
- 12:20him now she's upset. Yeah, and this person just chimed in saying that
- 12:24the silent treatment is a way of forcing you to act like you're the one
- 12:28in the wrong. Just pretend you don't notice because you're not in the wrong.
- 12:31Dad, Like her silent treatment might be because she's feeling guilty. We
- 12:35call that the old call her bluff, Amanda in my circle, Oh eight
- 12:43seven, we want to hear from your seven eight seven. What do you
- 12:46get? So we were at the airport one two and my daughter just had
- 12:50to have cariboo. So we were waiting and waiting and I mean that long.
- 12:54It is good. That line was long, and it was novelving and
- 12:56I'm like, we have fifteen minutes to get there, and our terminal was
- 13:01all the way at the other end of the airport, and I'm like,
- 13:03oh my god, let's go. Let Scholl let's go. And so we
- 13:07got it and we pulled a home alone moment, like, we ran across
- 13:11the airport and we lost our bags. We had to run back get because
- 13:15they're falling off her shoulders. And I ended up looking back and I realized
- 13:18that my boyfriend was nowhere to be found. I'm like, oh, I'm
- 13:22like, we were boarding this plane with her without him. Well, he
- 13:24managed to catch up, like barely everybody was on. He was the last
- 13:28person that ran down the terminal. It was so hilarious. But I would
- 13:33have left him. And I mean I wouldn't have left her. Obviously,
- 13:35I would have stayed if it was her, but him, I would have
- 13:39left her. Got some guideline, she's like the boyfriend, sure daughter,
- 13:41Nah, I would have considered leaving her. Yeah, that's too much.
- 13:46No, she was a miner. I couldn't leave her. But yeah,
- 13:48we will never stop for coffee in an airport ever again. She can wait
- 13:54until we get off the plane. Let's they have coffee on the flight,
- 13:58do they? Yes? They was just serving coffee, but it's just like
- 14:03our work coffee. You're like, well, you gotta bring a little little
- 14:07creamer. What was your name? Ashley? Even if you mean it's that
- 14:11bad, like wait up and make it in the morning at your house.
- 14:15Most people have a coffee pot. I'm sure, and I get it.
- 14:18It's not caribou, but it saves you all that sugar and calories. Enemies,
- 14:20make it at home and then drink it later. Are you go?
- 14:24You're my favorite person? Day in the morning. Could you do this?
- 14:35You guys, I'm exhausted today. Laying in bed for a day sounds great.
- 14:39Just could you even do a full weekend just laying in bed? Could
- 14:43you really? I think I can't. I don't really last more than two
- 14:48days even after. I think the longest I had to lay lay down was
- 14:50after my appendicitis and that was almost three days and I was miserable. Just
- 14:54couldn't even handle it. Just get anty in your pantsies or do I get
- 14:58super anty? I get really uncomfortable. I hate laying on my back.
- 15:01You're just like sitting up a little bit kind of helps. But there is
- 15:05a contest right now. It's called the Laziest Citizen, and it has people
- 15:09laying down right now. They have been lying down for twenty days. Twenty
- 15:15days. They're gonna get better, I know, And they're basically just laying
- 15:18on all of these cots. One of the contestants is twenty three years old.
- 15:22He says, I'm confident I'm gonna win this. We have everything we
- 15:24need we need here. They have computers that they're just kind of there,
- 15:28but they're still laying down. If they sit up, they get booted out
- 15:31of this contest. And they're going on twenty days. That sounds terrible.
- 15:35And it's only for one thousand dollars prize. I mean, I know you
- 15:37could make twice that much by going to work, you dummy. Oh there's
- 15:41that, But then you wouldn't be able to have the Laziest Citizen Award on
- 15:45your Guys night Stand. I mean, this is crazy. I just couldn't
- 15:50do it. There's just no way. I guess they do get every eight
- 15:54hours, like a ten minute bathroom break really quick, but still I would
- 16:00have thought maybe a bed pan situation that would be hilarious. Or you have
- 16:03to you have to get a colostomy bag or whatever it is, or have
- 16:07a surgery, you see, if you're gonna do that, I don't know.
- 16:11I what is the longest you think you could really truly be that lazy?
- 16:18It's gotta be three days that in like for my mental health too,
- 16:22I would lose my mind that I've watched so many Netflix series before. I
- 16:26would just be over it completely. I just like, I need to stand
- 16:30up, I need to walk. That wouldn't you kind of get dizzy Pikes
- 16:33on vacation today, But he can't lay on his back for more than however
- 16:37long, so I don't know if you can snuggle over to the side strapping
- 16:41on your back. Amanda, My god, what is this down for twenty
- 16:45days? Like Amanda in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven. Now
- 16:52the thing is dating apps? Oh God, tell me everything about Have you
- 16:56ever been on a dating Appamanda? I had a stint on the Dating napsint
- 17:00situation. Yes, about six months. I was on Bumble I don't remember
- 17:07if I was on Tinder. I feel like I wasn't. I feel like
- 17:08it was more of a Bumble Girl. And then I did do match for
- 17:12like three weeks. It was awful. It was just awful. In turn,
- 17:17Gracie, she's the single and ready to mingle one and where are you
- 17:21at in the dating world on dating naps, I'm really not. I mean
- 17:25I'm on them, but they're a waste of time. They're why are they
- 17:27a waste of time? Because people just want hookups? What do you think
- 17:33that kind of what the Tinder life is. Hasn't it become just a hookup
- 17:37site? And then I have a friend who just meant somebody on hinge is
- 17:41hinge? Where's that? I'm not on Hinge? Oh see, maybe you
- 17:45need to be on that or hinge. Maybe because you're not wanting just hook
- 17:49up. You want somebody to spend your life with. You want that companion.
- 17:52There is a new dating napp out there called goal Mate, and this
- 17:56I think they're kind of onto something. They are basically saying this new feature
- 18:02is basically going to have you put in people who like what your career goals
- 18:07are, talk about your future, and you can find like minded individuals instead
- 18:11of in my opinion, it's like you get a quick little bio. Usually
- 18:15somebody says something cheesy and then it's a picture. It's too much pressure.
- 18:19I don't want I don't have to think about what I'm gonna do. What's
- 18:22my five year plan? Well that well, no, the five year plan
- 18:25died. We talked about that last whatever, whatever it may be, what's
- 18:30your goals in fifteen years. I'd like to have a job. Well that,
- 18:33but it's also just more, Hey, do you like to travel?
- 18:36If so, you can put you know, I want to fill up my
- 18:38passport, or you can put what your side hustle is, or what your
- 18:42hobbies are and a lot. Algorithm then will pair you with people who are
- 18:48more like minded than you versus just oh you're hot. That's it. You
- 18:52know what's wrong with oh you're hot? There's nothing wrong with that. I
- 18:56just think when people want to hunker down and truly find somebody, when you're
- 19:00just wiping right over and over and over again, you're not really looking at
- 19:03people's bios, you're looking at their face. And I get that that's that's
- 19:07how the world works sometimes, but I don't know. I like it.
- 19:11They're gonna be able to at least go through with the algorithm and get rid
- 19:15of some of the people that maybe just hot, but they're not anything like
- 19:18it. I think we should whip Gracie up a farmers only dot com gosh
- 19:23account. What do you think I like that? There's only a thing.
- 19:27Yeah, it's still goes. I think I think one of my buddies got
- 19:33found his wife on farmers Finally a cowboy a farmer. There's a difference cowboys.
- 19:40Only are you even listening up piking a minute in the morning, Get
- 19:45up on big maybe twice seven smoked the windows down first thing, Daddy Dunkings,
- 20:00trust their mommy. It's just very fresh dream Forever United Man. It's
- 20:08hard to believe twenty two years ago was the deadliest terror attack on US soil.
- 20:15Nine eleven Rob Wiseberg. He is a volunteer firefighter who helped victims on
- 20:19nine eleven and says that not only is it painful for adults to just kind
- 20:22of sit back and think about where they were, We've kind of talked about
- 20:26it a couple of times this morning walking into school. I think we were
- 20:27both around the same age and not sure really what was going on, getting
- 20:32dismissed from school, going home, sitting in there with your parents, and
- 20:36you just remember everybody crying and having those moments together. And now they're talking
- 20:41about how many kids are in school learning about it in history books and how
- 20:42they have no idea what it felt like for our country on that day.
- 20:47So it's just a great reminder to never forget. And Aquaman and the Last
- 20:52Kingdom. Is it actually going to be debut or I mean it was the
- 20:56second Aquaman Aquaman two, so it's supposed to be in theaters and December,
- 21:00but there's been no hype about it. So people in the comic con world
- 21:03over the weekend, we're losing their minds, just going after DC saying you
- 21:07haven't given us anything. DC spends a half a billion dollars per superhero movie
- 21:11and they haven't done a good superhero movie unless it's in Batman. It's crazy.
- 21:15They screw it up every time. Now, I'm terrible with the Marvel
- 21:18versus DC. What are some of the movies that they have created? So
- 21:22the Batman's here, Superman Justice League was a huge stinker. The last one
- 21:25they had was that Flash movie and it got a million trailers and they were
- 21:27like, oh, the original Batman's and it's gonna be so good. Tanked
- 21:30suck bomb. Maybe they're being gun shy. They're yeah, they're like,
- 21:33well, we can't do anything right, so I guess sorry. Jason Momoa,
- 21:37well, some people were thinking it was just because of the Amber Heard
- 21:40fallout and the drama there, but she's only in it for a couple of
- 21:41minutes, and I guess just because everybody was up in arms yesterday they dropped
- 21:45a teaser trailer and basically it's just a quick little thing that says in four
- 21:51days you'll get the full trailer. There's somebody who's like their video editor that
- 21:55is working twenty four seven. He hasn't slept. He's like, make a
- 21:57trailer. Figure it out. You forgot to make this trail. Another one
- 22:04that Elon Musk. He has a biography that is going to be coming out
- 22:07and somebody got a sneak preview of it. In there they read that he
- 22:12secretly welcomed the third child named Techno Mechanicus. That's with that same gal.
- 22:18Right, this is so it's a third with grinds, but this is eleven
- 22:22kids total for him. I don't care how much money you have, bro,
- 22:26that's insane. Well didn't he say once on Twitter that he thought that
- 22:30part of his life's duty was to repopulate the earth? Yeah, that guy,
- 22:34Techno Mechanics. I think I would have went with Mechanicus as the first
- 22:38name. First name, Yeah, Camere Mechanicus. Yeah, I don't know.
- 22:42I don't Techno feels like a middle it does, feel very very odd.
- 22:47The whole thing notes to be real, like in a minute in the
- 22:48morning, Big Nutty eight point seven. Sometimes when the songs are on,
- 22:52things get revealed, Amanda, all right, they do, yes, very
- 22:56much. So found out you were a large fan of this song. One
- 23:04of my favorite movies growing up was Tarzan. Fun Facts. I used to
- 23:08collect monkeys, Turk, I'm monkey that you used to collect monkeys and just
- 23:14like the stuffed animals, a couple of them. Do you still have some?
- 23:17No where? I mean, they gotta be somewhere. Maybe they are
- 23:19at the lake house, in my chest, my little uh my little boy,
- 23:26see what's in there? No. The reason we're talking about Tarzan is
- 23:30there is the Tarzan movement that defies modern life and movement. Why I am
- 23:37envisioning you doing this, I would totally sport that loincloth, right. See,
- 23:41I forgot about the outfit situation that would go into this entire thing.
- 23:45But there's a lot of people doing the Tarzan movement as a practice that involves
- 23:48living like a primate. So participants who are this walk on all fours jeems.
- 23:57You just have this vibe like you're you're just a Tarzan demand. Yeah,
- 24:02honestly, I'm not offended. You shouldn't be offended this kind of a
- 24:04compliment. Yes, And you love being outdoors, so I feel like you
- 24:07could find your inner Tarzan. They climb trees, and this might be the
- 24:12weird part. They imitate monkey like sounds as a way of getting back into
- 24:18like nature. Yeah, I've seen I've actually seen people do this before,
- 24:22like as a way of like kind of letting lose. Some people say it
- 24:25deal with trauma, but then also for physical fitness, just feeling good.
- 24:29I mean, of course, if you're gonna be like wrapping your legs around
- 24:30a tree, that's gonna take a little strength. Tell you what, I
- 24:33don't know how Tarzan wrapped his legs around a tree just wearing that loincloth.
- 24:37Do you think there'd be a lot of thigh burnage? Yeah, I feel
- 24:41like there'd be more than there's the burnage there. Uh. This guy who
- 24:45has created this movement offers classes. Now I looked it up. There isn't
- 24:48anything in Fargo unless I missed it seven one two eight one ninety eight seven
- 24:52please let me know. But it's twelve bucks a class. That's nothing.
- 24:56Twelve bucks. I mean, I guess you could could I just know I
- 24:57live in West Fargo. We don't have a of trees over there. We
- 25:00could find a tree you can start? Yeah, should I start it?
- 25:04You could start your own Tarzan movement. People are spending twelve blocks to class.
- 25:08You put your feet around a branch. H there you go? Whoa?
- 25:15You really were a big fan of monkeys. You know how they tie?
- 25:18I loved it. Oh my god, there's monkeys rushing into the studio
- 25:21right now, looking up there, there's monkeys in here. You're ready,
- 25:25ready, let's he is piping hot today? No, Amanda stills the sea.
- 25:30Let's see sprats a Bally service mechanical. Well, they really got people
- 25:37worked up over the weekend. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunas. We know that
- 25:41they were all together with Danny Masterson on the set of that seventies show back
- 25:45in the day, But after he was convicted of raping two women and was
- 25:48sentenced to thirty years to life in prison, we found out that Ashton and
- 25:52Mila ended up writing a letter talking about how he was a role model and
- 25:56outstanding older brother figure to them. Wrote this to the judge, probably not
- 26:02thinking that everybody was going to find out about it, and now they are
- 26:06backtracking kind of sort of an apology their statement. It almost makes it worse.
- 26:11Listen here of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that
- 26:18we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson. We support victims. We have done
- 26:22this historically through our work and will continue to do so in the future.
- 26:26Back to you. A couple months ago days family reached out to us and
- 26:29they asked us to write character letters to represent the person that we knew for
- 26:33twenty five years, so that the judge could take that into full consideration relative
- 26:37to the sentencing. The letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the
- 26:41judicial system or the validity of the jury's ruling. They were intended for the
- 26:47judgory and not to undermine the testimony for you them in anyway. Number one,
- 26:55and we're sorry if that has taken place. Our heart goes out to
- 26:57every single person who's ever been a victim of sexual assault sexual abuse. Not
- 27:03laughing at the what they're saying, laughing at the lack of utter lack of
- 27:07empathy, utter lack of care. Literally there it sounds I'll I hear when
- 27:11I hear this is them going we have to read this so that we cannot
- 27:15get in trouble condition or energy behind it. I agree, and it's just
- 27:18like, oh gosh, this is where when you have a publicist, if
- 27:22you aren't going to have that compassion and all of that, this is where
- 27:26you just put out that we're sorry. Here's the Facebook post or Instagram post,
- 27:30and hopefully we can move on from that. Yeah, or just let
- 27:33it sit because the Internet's going to forget about this in a weekend. I
- 27:37know. Andrew Barrymore. She has been very open about how she is supporting
- 27:44everybody who's on strike in Hollywood. Remember she stepped away from her hosting gig
- 27:48with the MTV Movie and TV Awards because she's like, not not doing it,
- 27:52but they're all on strike. Well, she has been since May fighting
- 27:56the fight. She's been protesting with people, and just yesterday she did say
- 28:00that her show is going to be coming back next week. She said,
- 28:03I own this choice. We are in compliance with not discussing or promoting film
- 28:07and television that is struck of any kind. They're upset though people are still
- 28:11planning to strike and pick it outside of her show today and tomorrow. I
- 28:15find that really weird because if you are in compliance. That was the big
- 28:18complaint about. There was another show that had kept going for like a week
- 28:22and they were promoting stuff that was because if you're doing independent movies, you're
- 28:25not part of the Actors Guild. Correct, They can interview those people.
- 28:29They just happen to be the same actors who are also in stuff that's part
- 28:32of SAG. So it gets a little screwed up. Yeah, it's gonna
- 28:34be interesting to see when this is ever gonna end. We were talking last
- 28:37week. I think Warner Brothers has lost like five hundred million dollars in just
- 28:40a few months because of this, and they haven't even released that stinker movie
- 28:44Aquaman movie yet, No kidding, I'm a sucker full. And everybody still
- 28:49wants to know what is on that ring camera footage. Is that really what
- 28:52happened with Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas and the reason for their divorce or is
- 28:57it simply just a bunch of rumors. Joe Jonas over the weekend, he
- 29:02was out on tour in La and he said, it's been a crazy week.
- 29:04He looked at the crowd right before he was about to sing a song
- 29:07that he had written for Sophie and said this alarm and toast. Thank you
- 29:23everyone love supports me and my family. Love you guys. I mean,
- 29:29the ladies just were going wild. Do anything for you. I mean,
- 29:34I will tell you. If you don't hear it from these lips, don't
- 29:38believe it. Okay, they did have a lot of Joe Bro hugs too.
- 29:42The brothers were all giving each other hugs on stage. Is really supportive.
- 29:45I like that they like each other. That's nice. Didn't they break
- 29:48up for a hot minute because they didn't like each other, But they made
- 29:52up and all is well in the world, minus you know, the divorce
- 29:55and all that they hit their wives. Now in the morning seven, I
- 30:03like, all right, we all know times have changed and people are sharing
- 30:07on BuzzFeed things that were normal in the nineties in two thousands but are now
- 30:11considered luxury. Okay, I was going through this listen, like these are
- 30:17so spot on one of them, and I think we can all agree just
- 30:21backup up. Everybody needs a little bit of time, but now we are
- 30:26expected to be reachable. Twenty four seven. You'd like me to back up
- 30:27off as it stop off, But think about that, remember it was eight
- 30:32to five. You were done. You never heard from anybody. You have
- 30:33to go back to work the next day. You weren't expected to like have
- 30:37emails or any sort of conversation social media. I think change that too,
- 30:41because have you ever I'm the queen of that. I tried reaching you.
- 30:44You didn't respond, but you just posted on Facebook. You clearly just saw
- 30:47that I had messaged you. If it's a text, it's different though.
- 30:49A text implies a like if you send me an email like all weekend,
- 30:55I'm not going to respond, that's fair, But I'm gonna see it,
- 30:57and I'm gonna choose it not to engage it because we have to train people.
- 31:02Yeah, ever, we want to be traded right, No, just
- 31:03gotta be like nope. Do you feel like that will ever come back?
- 31:07Do you think it'll ever be Nope, this is my time. You have
- 31:11to respect it. Well, I mean, if it did, we would
- 31:14have to push it because everybody just expects it. We would just have to
- 31:17go No, I know, talking about things that used to be normal and
- 31:21now they're considered luxury. Concert ticket prices, yeah, everybody's been complained about
- 31:26concert ticket prices. Gracie, how much did you pay for Taylor Swift again
- 31:29fifteen hundred dollars per ticket or total total for the whole night. But still
- 31:33it's for two nights. Yeah, that's crazy, fancy pants. Fifteen hundred.
- 31:40Actually I thought it was like three grands, So that's not bad.
- 31:41I mean, so I saw an article not too long ago about this,
- 31:44and they said that the average ticket price for Woodstock in the sixties was eighteen
- 31:48bucks, equal to one hundred and fifty dollars today, which like when I
- 31:52go to a point, it feels like it, right, like when I
- 31:56go to a Broadway show in the city, is they're a little over one
- 31:57hundred fifty bucks. Ish, See that hundred hundred and fifty is one thing.
- 32:01But when you're going like three to four hundred dollars to go to a
- 32:05concert, and that's not including having to get there, spending time, you
- 32:07know, that's just for the ticket, that seems a little crazy. In
- 32:10the hotel, I mean, you know, yeah, because it's a whole
- 32:14vibe. Yeah, single income families buying homes, Yeah, home prices have
- 32:20gotten a little wild. I've I owned a home for a time, sold
- 32:27it when all of my life changed, and now I'm kind of like,
- 32:30I don't think I want another thirty year mortgage. You're good with not having
- 32:35care that much, going to the rental life, Yeah, exactly. Other
- 32:37things that have changuring time items, not requiring a subscription each month. I
- 32:43just got a notification that's like Disney Plus and Hulu. One of the reasons
- 32:45I got it in the first place. It was like seven ninety nine for
- 32:50the bundle, and I think that has ESPN. Now they're jacking that up
- 32:52to fourteen ninety nine, and now they're in talks to bump it up even
- 32:55more and separated. You guys, leave us a law. I'm over all
- 33:00of that. I have no subscriptions anymore. Really, yeah, not a
- 33:05one, not even to the flicks. Done with the flicks, I'm over
- 33:08that. The only one I buy I have is Paramount Plus because I buy
- 33:12it for my mom because she loves yellow Stones so much that she needs to
- 33:15have access. You buy a costner and every Christmas we buy that from my
- 33:20mom so that she it's a beautiful little chrisma some rip I get it,
- 33:24Okay, fun fact about my mom. She also asked me a couple of
- 33:28weeks ago to buy her a six foot tall cardboard rip that she could have
- 33:31in her house, and I did. I gotta take a picture of that.
- 33:35I think I'm gonna go home this weekend. Wait, so where does
- 33:37she keep it in her bedroom? It's in her living room and she's just
- 33:40hanging out. She talks to him every morning. She said, cardboard rip,
- 33:45get out of here. Can we take a vacation to your house?
- 33:50Absolutely? I just want a weekend with mama, with mama. What's your
- 33:53mom's name? Her name is Kathy, Kathy? Well, Kathy Kathy were
- 33:59coming for him in the morning. How about your guys this weekend? Pike
- 34:05on vacation. Still, he wanted to have an extended day because he knew
- 34:09his birthday was yesterday, by the way, and he was a little unsure,
- 34:14but was gonna go down with the packers, and he was just like,
- 34:17I'm gonna need a day. I love it, big Packer fan.
- 34:22Who cares? I forget You're not a football guy, James, No.
- 34:24I mean, I'm just saying, like, really, what time did they
- 34:28play yesterday? I think there was three twenty five? Boy, I tell
- 34:31you what, can't recover in time for work the next day because of them?
- 34:36Just you know had other things. Did they win? They did actually
- 34:39end up winning. They beat the Bears actually by quite a bit. Well
- 34:43that's not hard to do it, right. Yeah, speaking of football this
- 34:45weekend, did you go out and do any tale getting on Saturday? Did
- 34:47not? No? I had a lot of friends say it was just awesome.
- 34:51I actually did a road trip with my husband. We left Friday at
- 34:53about noon and we went to Iowa. He used to play football at Iowa
- 34:59State, so we their big rival again with my husband was a former college
- 35:04star. I wouldn't go I wouldn't go star as I'm just kidding. Anyway,
- 35:10we we did that track because they played Iowa Iowa State game and yeah,
- 35:15so that's they're the psy Hawk game. So it's crazy. It's like
- 35:19when SDSU and DS you end up playing there. We go, thank you,
- 35:22just so break it down for you. I appreciate that. Had so
- 35:24much fun. We didn't bring the kids, so we road trip there with
- 35:28all the kids. We only stopped you guys in seven hours one time,
- 35:31one time, quick. That was it. Why because we didn't have the
- 35:36kids. It was just like go mode, baby. We were ready to
- 35:38go. Listening to all the jams we have a fun game that we play
- 35:42on our road trip, and it's whenever you hear like as soon as the
- 35:47song comes on, you have to sing it, and then once you can't
- 35:50say don't know the words anymore, you have to hit the next song or
- 35:52change the station. Hilarious because neither of us know the words to any song.
- 35:58I swear we don't know the words to any song. Half the time.
- 36:00We're like butter Melane. I mean, that's bad. What was that?
- 36:06That was Monday going out of town. My favorite was the story yesterday
- 36:13that you posted and you looked like that becomes her. Yeah, no,
- 36:16it was not good. I lost my soul in uh In, Iowa over
- 36:21the weekend. It was so much fun though, to go and experience like
- 36:22a different tailgate. They just do it so different there. It was.
- 36:27It was awesome. So they ended up losing, but we had a great
- 36:30time. Yeah, yesterday, that was the longest seven hour drive I've ever
- 36:34had in my life. Did you stop more than one time? That time?
- 36:37I did get out of the car. Really, I was so dehydrated
- 36:39and sick I didn't even get out of That's how bad it was. You
- 36:44actually kind of impressive, and there's no bathroom break. There was some beggies
- 36:47that were in the car that were, yeah, just joyous. And then
- 36:52you know the best part is once you get back from having a good time,
- 36:55you guys, those kids are still there and the mom and dad and
- 37:00they were like jumping around having fun. They wanted to go to the park.
- 37:02Nick and I look at each other, rank what were we thinking?
- 37:07Did we think they weren't gonna want to do all this stuff after being away
- 37:09from mom and dad for a day and a half, got a hotel.
- 37:12You should have pulled the pike and been like, I'm gonna need one day
- 37:14recovery after Joe
