- 0:04Hi. I'm Jay Fallon and you're
- 0:06listening to the slippery slope. So listen, I'm going to assume
- 0:10that that anyone probably listening to this podcast at
- 0:13least would have heard of the world economic Forum Klaus
- 0:18Schwab and the great reset. And you've probably heard the
- 0:23phrase, you'll own nothing and be happy.
- 0:27But just in case you haven't, No wonder you.
- 0:30What I'm talking about. I'll just run over a few
- 0:32pointers. The great reset is an idea
- 0:36that's been put forward by the world economic Forum to
- 0:40fundamentally restructure. The global economy in the wake
- 0:44of the covid-19 endemic. One of the key points of this
- 0:49idea is that this phrase that you will own nothing and be
- 0:54happy. Oh, nothing and be happy author.
- 0:57Douglas Kruger says, like many of the political The correct
- 1:00ideas that we we here Brandi debate in the media, this entire
- 1:05project is couched in kindness. It is presented as something
- 1:10that is being done or being proposed for our good for the
- 1:13greater good. Personally, this personally this
- 1:19should be setting off alarm bells in our minds.
- 1:22It tends to lead to very problematic ideology.
- 1:26The Proposal out of Davos is essentially this, we You have a
- 1:30group of exceptionally powerful individuals predominantly in the
- 1:34banking finance and and business sector there in Alliance with
- 1:39government leadership and they're proposing.
- 1:43That as a result of these covid lockdowns, that's that have
- 1:48done, you know, such a great deal of damage to to the global
- 1:52economy. They perceive that they now have
- 1:56an opportunity to rebuild economies, but to do so in what
- 2:01they believe is a more enlightened fashion.
- 2:04So generally speaking there are there are problems with the idea
- 2:08of groups of people who were in power, then.
- 2:12Deciding the history of humanity, in the best case
- 2:15scenario, you know, human humankind mankind, with some
- 2:20simply supposed to be free. We should be able to determine
- 2:24their own. Futures our own progress and
- 2:27what we want out of life. From a Christian and a Biblical
- 2:31perspective, God gave mankind men and women.
- 2:35God gave mankind free. Will we have the right to
- 2:39choose? We don't always choose the right
- 2:41thing, the best. Obviously, but God layout is
- 2:45Free Will it's we're not robots. So this particular case that
- 2:51comes from the world economic Forum, proposes is a sort of
- 2:56collective idea that takes personal ownership out of the
- 3:00equation. You know, the little phrase and
- 3:03and it sounds so innocent that you will own nothing and you
- 3:07will be happy. It sounds sound so innocent.
- 3:10But it is a fallacy because Is someone somewhere has to own and
- 3:16this is the issue if you take ownership out of the hands of
- 3:19the broad-based populace and or you know, separate entrepreneurs
- 3:25and families and individuals and you concentrated into the hands
- 3:29of a few multinational corporations working together
- 3:32with governments or firstly that system is by definition fascist.
- 3:41And the this idea of an all-powerful government and the
- 3:45businesses that work in conjunction with them quickly,
- 3:49very quickly leads to cronyism. So, the reason why I want to
- 3:52talk about or start with this, with this great reset proposal,
- 3:58it's because I believe Australia, the Australian
- 4:01government's, we are fast becoming the poster boys.
- 4:05For the great reset. We are allowing a different
- 4:08different, political parties hours.
- 4:10Eight local state, federal government to dictate what we
- 4:16can and can't do with our property.
- 4:19What prep, what property owners can and can't do.
- 4:22And this article came out of came from South Australia.
- 4:28That just yesterday, I'll read the headline to you.
- 4:29It says that South Australia, Greens.
- 4:32Greens are a political party push for new vacant property
- 4:37tax. So the article goes to say, The
- 4:41greens have urged the South Australian government to
- 4:44introduce a tax on vacant Residential Properties.
- 4:49After reports thousands are empty across the state So amid
- 4:55the current rental on housing crisis, which we've been, which
- 4:58is been happening here in Australia for a little while.
- 5:00Now, since this data we had a census, just lost the last year.
- 5:05It was last year. So this senses, you know, when
- 5:08they gather all your details, I want to know everything about
- 5:10every every individual in your household.
- 5:13Anyway, since is Dasa suggest that about 84,000 properties.
- 5:20Are lying vacant in South Australia, we have people
- 5:23Sleeping on the streets intense cars and Caravans yet there are
- 5:26thousands of vacant homes. In South Australia, the greens
- 5:30Upper House, MP, Robert Sims said a vacant property tax would
- 5:36encourage owners just to encourage people, so it doesn't
- 5:40use the word punishment, which is what it is, is punishment.
- 5:43It's they just want to encourage you with a little tax, little
- 5:46extra tax to sell or rent out their properties boosting
- 5:52housing Supply at a a time when it's desperately needed, mr.
- 5:56Simms said the tax could be applied and Residential
- 5:59Properties left vacant without reason for more than 12 months
- 6:04and the money raised spent on social housing.
- 6:07So get, let me give this right, okay?
- 6:10Vacant property tax to encourage owners, not to punish is just to
- 6:15encourage you, to either sell it or rent it.
- 6:18If you as a property owner, have made a decision for whatever
- 6:22you, let's just say 12 properties.
- 6:24They don't want you having a choice, they don't want you
- 6:28having freedom of over where you live freedom of movement.
- 6:32They don't want that. The government does not want
- 6:34that, they want to be able to dictate what you can and can't
- 6:38do where you can go. They want to dictate your
- 6:41movements, but if you own your own property they can't dictate
- 6:46those things to you. This is just further,
- 6:49encroachment by government, where they do not belong, this
- 6:54idea that they would just encourage you to either sell?
- 6:57What if you don't want to sell your holding the property
- 6:59because you want to be able to give it to your children at a
- 7:02later date. You want to be able to do
- 7:04something else worthwhile with it.
- 7:06You have other plans, it really doesn't matter.
- 7:08Enters the fact that they said mr.
- 7:11Simms are said the tax could be applied in Residential
- 7:13Properties, left vacant without reason so you have to explain To
- 7:18the government, to some government authority, to some
- 7:23bureaucracy. What your reasons are for having
- 7:29a property that you've left? Vacant, you have to explain it
- 7:32to them. This is typical government
- 7:36overreach. Very typical of the greens
- 7:38party, which at their the heart of the greens party, they are a
- 7:41socialist-slash-communist party. In reality, this is what
- 7:47happens, this Kind of government.
- 7:48Overreach is what happens, especially in Australia, where
- 7:52we have an over-reliance on on government welfare systems.
- 7:57Like centerlink work, you know where you when you're
- 8:00unemployed, well, you don't have to get a job.
- 8:04And so, the government will just give you money.
- 8:07Because no one's encouraged to really work, no one's forced
- 8:10away because you've always got that safety net of the
- 8:13government. This is the problem with it.
- 8:15And of course, you know, they'll use that money.
- 8:18They know how to use this tax. That will use it on social
- 8:21housing to do people do the people of Australia.
- 8:25Do you realize that the government does never it never
- 8:28creates anything, the government never comes up with some great
- 8:33ideas that change the world governments.
- 8:35Don't do that. All I do is facilitate if you
- 8:39want any great idea, that changes, the world comes from
- 8:44individuals, usually or private Enterprise businesses that are,
- 8:49that are trying to invent new ways, create new ways to do
- 8:53things government, don't create anything, they just pasilla
- 8:57Tate. They just add taxes for what
- 8:59they say, is the greater good, but they just bureaucracies
- 9:03who've decided, they know what the greater good is but they
- 9:06don't Don't it goes on to say that a similar tax already
- 9:09operates in Victoria. I did, I didn't even know this,
- 9:12I did not know that they already had this in Victoria.
- 9:16It says the greens have also called for other measures to
- 9:19tackle, the housing shortage and the pressure on renters,
- 9:24including more investment in public housing construction and
- 9:27the introduction of rent controls on Wednesday.
- 9:31Mr. Simms will introduce a bill to State Parliament to limits
- 9:35rent increase. Is to once every two years in
- 9:39line with inflation. So, my question again is why do
- 9:44governments and political parties believe that they have
- 9:47the right to dictate what a property owner can, and cannot
- 9:52do with their own property. This is what occurs in a nation,
- 9:58especially in the nation like Australia, where we have this
- 10:01over-reliance on government welfare systems.
- 10:05We are either too blind or we are too lazy to see the
- 10:10political He's like the greens, a socialist and communist at
- 10:16heart. They are not beneficial for this
- 10:20nation. In reality.
- 10:22What gives you freedom is the ability to own a property and to
- 10:29Aspire to own a property owning property and not just physical
- 10:36land, but even even having, you know, intellectual property
- 10:42property rights coming up with ideas and owning the ability to
- 10:46be able to own that own your ideas own your inventions, okay?
- 10:53If the government can take these rights and and this is where
- 10:57we'll go, if the likes of Klaus Schwab in the world economic
- 11:01Forum, have their way, this is where it will go.
- 11:04It's not just going to be physical land property, even
- 11:09your your idea. Is your intellectual property
- 11:14will fall into the hand of big business and government or that
- 11:19that are in cahoots together to own everything.
- 11:23Because like I said, the very this, very thought that you can
- 11:28own nothing and yet be happy is a fallacy because someone has to
- 11:34own it, do not believe the lie from someone like this Sims.
- 11:41This MP or the greens party or the world economic Forum where
- 11:46they think that they can control, they should be able to
- 11:48dictate what you can and cannot do with your property.
- 11:53I don't know a lot about American history, but I do know
- 11:57this quote which came from leave is George Washington.
- 12:00Who wrote that freedom and property rights are inseparable.
- 12:05You can't have one without the other.
- 12:08They want a One World Government.
- 12:11They want a One World Financial system.
- 12:14They will own everything that will use the they will use
- 12:18climate change to bring it all into action.
- 12:22And we are falling right into their hands with silly things,
- 12:28like voting in the greens in Australia.
- 12:31Like, allowing this kind of legislation to do to just go
- 12:34ahead and not push back, not fight back, not holding these
- 12:39political parties. Accountable, like we should be,
- 12:43however, saying all that Bible says that there will be a one
- 12:47world, one world government, there will be a one world
- 12:50leader. He will be able to dictate who
- 12:54can buy and sell. This is all leading to what the
- 12:59Bible says, will happen. The whole issue with you as an
- 13:05individual, she need to get your life right with God.
- 13:12Don't bury your head in the sand.
- 13:13Don't think that these things aren't going to happen.
- 13:16When you see these things happening.
- 13:17Like with what the greens do do not be blinded to what their
- 13:22real goal is and that is to take everything that you have to take
- 13:28it for themselves. That's my opinion.
- 13:32Thank you for listening to the slippery slope and please like
- 13:36and share. Thanks again for listening to
- 13:40the slippery slope.
