- 1:27SPEAKER_03: Impressive top tier, elite, I would say.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: If you're 30.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: And that's that's what I'm saying.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: And that's why I have to address this text that came in because Allison got all bent out of shape.
- 1:38SPEAKER_03: Don't make me come over there, Alison.
- 1:40SPEAKER_03: She goes, listen.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: Okay, maybe it wasn't that intense.
- 1:44SPEAKER_03: But she goes, I work for the school district and they actually have pretty good lunches.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: I know the menu sounds great for a 30-year-old.
- 1:51SPEAKER_03: You should actually be charging way more.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: They said pizza isn't cardboard pizza anymore.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: Okay, in my defense, I'm saying what Gavin has told me.
- 1:59SPEAKER_03: He's not a fan of the pizza.
- 2:00SPEAKER_03: But then again, it's not Giuseppies or Vincenzo, so you know.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: He only likes the best of the best.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Only wood fired for that, young man.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: And they did, and they went on, Allison went on to say uh they don't have that cardboard pizza anymore, and the chicken wings are actually wings.
- 2:14SPEAKER_03: That's true.
- 2:14SPEAKER_03: Oh, and uh also uh lots of kids eats eat lots of kids eat those choices.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think it's uh maybe on your senior year in high school.
- 2:22SPEAKER_03: Although Lydia likes the walking taco.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'd love a walking taco.
- 2:26SPEAKER_03: Loves the walking taco.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: You know, I think it just depends a little bit too.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, I know most kids are, you know, they're pizza chicken wing or chicken nugget kids.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Sometimes you get kids who will eat something different.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I and I've I've said this for years.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: Sonia's kids, who are actually older now, but when they were kids, they actually brought in these little containers and they were able to use the microwave at school.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know, I know.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: And they would eat like Indian food.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: They would be very eclectic.
- 2:52SPEAKER_03: For me, I am a which feels a little rarer to me than than the average, you know, get together and the kid.
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: But either way, I this menu sounded great to me.
- 3:02SPEAKER_03: Don't get me wrong.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: One more from I'll be there for the pulled pork sandwich day, by the way.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Heck yeah.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: One more from Samantha, because I want to be here for this day too.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Next week on my kids' lunch menu, they have chicken wing dip.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Whoa!
- 3:13SPEAKER_03: Whoa.
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: Um the week after that?
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: Cholesterol problems.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: What school is it?
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, and they have nacho chips and a roll.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: What school?
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: And do they have auntie day?
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: Invite me.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: I don't know your kids, but I want to be their aunt.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: I need to know.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: All right, I gotta play.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: Totally moving on from the school lunches because we got a little, a little sampling of the menu there.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: Um, totally moving on from that.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna play you this prank, but I really want to ask you this question, okay?
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: All right, so listen to this prank.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: This girl works for a dentist's office.
- 3:43SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 3:43SPEAKER_04: I'm just calling because I know I was supposed to come in today, but I can't make it.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: What happened?
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: What's going on?
- 3:48SPEAKER_04: I have a bad toothache, so yeah, I just I need to worry about that.
- 3:53SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm just in a lot of pain right now.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: You know we're a dental office, right?
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: You know I'm a dentist, right?
- 4:01SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 4:01SPEAKER_04: If you're a dentist, so you you should know that that means it hurts a lot.
- 4:05SPEAKER_04: And so I just need to take care of it.
- 4:07SPEAKER_04: And Chat GPT said I might have some kind of gum disease, so I really I just gotta be on it.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: No.
- 4:14SPEAKER_04: No.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: No, you no, you have to come here.
- 4:17SPEAKER_04: But Chat GPT said that I might lose my tooth tonight.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: Think of me as Dr.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Chat GPT.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: By the way, I'm in so much pain, you don't understand.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: I will see you in 10 minutes.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: I'll treated, problem solved, and then you can get back to work.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: Bye.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: I love, I love that she cannot and absolutely does not have a poker face.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: No.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: But Chat GPT said.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: I love him.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: He's like, No.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: You do know we're a dental off.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: And so she's calling into her own boss, a dentist.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: But let me ask you a question.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: I'm going to eliminate one slice of this argument right now right now.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: There is one piece that I'm taking away from this because I'm asking on an emotional side, more so than a factual side.
- 4:57SPEAKER_03: You are not allowed to answer.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: It is my PTO.
- 5:00SPEAKER_03: I can do with it as I please.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: That line is eliminated from this discussion.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:04SPEAKER_03: Okay, you got to think about this back in the day of like, you know, when we really only took off when we were really sick.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: I'm okay with mental health days.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: That's fine.
- 5:13SPEAKER_03: Because, you know, usually you don't take five in a row.
- 5:15SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 5:15SPEAKER_03: If that's the case, you probably need treatment.
- 5:18SPEAKER_03: Uh, but if it, you know, one here and there.
- 5:20SPEAKER_03: Eliminate it's my PTO line.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: So the answer the question as it is.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: 2026 theories are out the window.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: Is a toothache a viable reason to miss work?
- 5:32SPEAKER_03: Heck yeah.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: I think Or do you muscle through and you're like, well, it's like having a headache.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: I've actually never had some severe tooth pain.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: But my uh nail person, she used to, to the point of like super nauseous.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: And like almost would give you a migraine.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: So I think yes, because you can't effectively do your job.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: But also I n not that there are the whole doctor note thing I know varies from office to office, but there also needs to be some action into you getting it taken care of, though, too.
- 6:05SPEAKER_03: Now, again, I don't I've had a couple toothaches here and there.
- 6:09SPEAKER_03: Uh more like a like a gum ache, like you know, I must have been like, you know, inflamed or something like that.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:15SPEAKER_03: You you never saw me missing the show.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, I made it through it.
- 6:19SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know you had this.
- 6:21SPEAKER_03: Right, exactly.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: Because I've a man.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: I can bustle through it.
- 6:25SPEAKER_03: I mean, no, but there were a couple days where it was like really like, oh man, that's kind of irritated.
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: Uh, but I'm like, no, that's not to me.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: Now, flu, cold, uh, you know, um uh I don't know, uh severe diarrhea.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: I think the pain from a toothache is way worse than even a cold or a flu or anything like that, which is why I say, yes, you can absolutely take a day off if you have.
- 6:48SPEAKER_03: Because I'm gonna tell you, if you if somebody called me back in the day when we actually had people that I managed as opposed to wow, you and me.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:56SPEAKER_03: Well it is a tough gig now, managing us.
- 6:58SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 6:59SPEAKER_03: Um, back when I had a lot of people, I heard plenty of different, you know, things.
- 7:03SPEAKER_03: I've been through it all.
- 7:04SPEAKER_03: I've been through women giving birth.
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: I've been leak through, yes.
- 7:07SPEAKER_03: That excuse was given to me one time.
- 7:09SPEAKER_03: And I said, Well, you need to figure it out because I need somebody on the air.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: But anyway, um You're like, just don't use the chair.
- 7:16SPEAKER_03: The toothache.
- 7:17SPEAKER_03: I yeah, right.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: Just stand.
- 7:19SPEAKER_03: Put a garbage can under you.
- 7:21SPEAKER_03: Um the uh that's terrible.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: Whoa.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: Well, that guy was so full of BS.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: But uh well, literally.
- 7:27SPEAKER_03: Um, but uh I struggle with it because of a couple things.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: One, a lot of times in a toothache situation, you could have dealt with it in advance leading up to this.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think it, but I think it's kind of like you when you're you say, like, oh my gums are aching.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: I think one day you're because I never knew anything about this.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: I think one day you're all of a sudden gonna wake up and be in severe pain.
- 7:51SPEAKER_03: Oh no, this was years ago.
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: I'm fine now.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: It's like I brushed it out.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: I went over my fingers and it's like.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Thank you for brushing your teeth, Scott.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: I appreciate it.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: I'm not smelling you.
