- 0:15Speaker 1: lot there and Dungeons Toyota get his car, talk Brad
- 0:19Speaker 1: dungeas and you brought friends?
- 0:20Speaker 2: How are you serious? I did? Good morning everyone. It's
- 0:22Speaker 2: so glad you're with us this morning.
- 0:24Speaker 3: My friends today are Sherry Smith and Brenda Willison here
- 0:28Speaker 3: from Agape Mission and Empty Bowl. Yeah, the great a
- 0:33Speaker 3: big event. It's that time of year.
- 0:35Speaker 4: When it gets hot outside enough empty bo.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah that's right.
- 0:40Speaker 3: And you guys been planning this event now for a
- 0:43Speaker 3: few months at least.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Yeah, if not all year. I think.
- 0:47Speaker 5: Well now parts of you start all year, but we
- 0:49Speaker 5: get to commit together like in April, start the running restaurants.
- 0:55Speaker 3: And now it's time to pull it all together and
- 0:57Speaker 3: everybody to get ready to go get a bowl and
- 0:59Speaker 3: filling up with our very generous restaurants and food. And
- 1:04Speaker 3: it's a chance to kind of get a taste of
- 1:07Speaker 3: every lots of different places in town and.
- 1:12Speaker 6: Tell everybody don't bring your tup aware now this is
- 1:14Speaker 6: a tasting lunch and not a come all you can
- 1:17Speaker 6: eat the fet and.
- 1:18Speaker 5: There are no there's no to go boxes for dinner. No,
- 1:23Speaker 5: if you cannot stay and eat with us, you have
- 1:26Speaker 5: to go to work. We do have to go boxes
- 1:28Speaker 5: and you can get one, but that's only if you
- 1:30Speaker 5: can't state and eat.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Hey do both can't do that. It's quite an event,
- 1:37Speaker 3: you know, hundreds of people will be there again.
- 1:39Speaker 6: I'm sure we usually have between four and six hundred people.
- 1:43Speaker 6: The time is eleven thirty to one thirty August of
- 1:46Speaker 6: twenty six right, there was a I ended up posting
- 1:50Speaker 6: the wrong one, a poster that had the twenty seventh no, no, no, no,
- 1:56Speaker 6: and I keep if I find it on my Facebook,
- 1:58Speaker 6: I'm hurting.
- 1:59Speaker 4: No, this is the wrong one. Here's the right one boasted.
- 2:03Speaker 6: And so it's it's always, always, always the last Tuesday
- 2:07Speaker 6: in August. We've done that for fifteen, sixteen, seventeen years now.
- 2:13Speaker 4: But this year it's special.
- 2:14Speaker 6: Because we're celebrating Agapees twenty fifth anniversary in twenty twenty five,
- 2:19Speaker 6: and so we want everybody to come out and do
- 2:22Speaker 6: some tasting. We have some new restaurants that's joined us
- 2:25Speaker 6: this year, and we have new ones to town, and
- 2:27Speaker 6: so we want everybody to come. It's a social gathering
- 2:31Speaker 6: as much as it is a fundraiser because people haven't
- 2:34Speaker 6: seen each other in a long time.
- 2:35Speaker 4: It's hot outside, it's cool in there. They can have
- 2:38Speaker 4: a nice lunch and go over.
- 2:41Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:41Speaker 6: We always have ice cream and desserts and so it's
- 2:44Speaker 6: a fun time.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That's great.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Silent auction.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Silent auction. Don't forget about those events.
- 2:48Speaker 4: And always had an en giant. We don't have a
- 2:51Speaker 4: big one because there's not a lot of time for
- 2:53Speaker 4: a lunch.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And yeah, yeah, quick, yeah, there's a few things there.
- 2:58Speaker 3: And of course it's all to support the programs that
- 3:02Speaker 3: are got paid missions and we have it's always going
- 3:06Speaker 3: on at a goat paid for twenty five years.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Twenty five years. You know, we've served.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Probably a million and a half meals in those twenty
- 3:13Speaker 6: five years, which is amazing. We've had just sixty four thousand,
- 3:17Speaker 6: almost sixty five thousand just last year.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Yeah, So we have two programs.
- 3:23Speaker 6: We have the on site program, which you can come
- 3:25Speaker 6: five days a week and get a prepared, nutritious meal.
- 3:31Speaker 6: And then we have the Food for Kids program that
- 3:35Speaker 6: actually supplies those children in every school in Washington County
- 3:41Speaker 6: a sack of nutritional food items, to get them through
- 3:44Speaker 6: the weekend, because many kids over the weekend don't have
- 3:47Speaker 6: anything to eat or they are at risk of not
- 3:51Speaker 6: having anything to eat. And we do between six hundred
- 3:53Speaker 6: and six hundred and fifty sacks a week in that program.
- 3:57Speaker 4: And so it takes a lot of funds, takes a
- 4:00Speaker 4: lot of manpower to get this done.
- 4:02Speaker 6: But I have teachers that tell me every year with
- 4:04Speaker 6: tears in her eyes, please don't ever stop this program
- 4:07Speaker 6: because it truly makes a difference. So here we are,
- 4:10Speaker 6: twenty five years later, still chucking on.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It's a great story, another great example of how Bartlesfille
- 4:17Speaker 3: really steps up and Bartletill's important.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Greatest community I've ever been a part, and truly they
- 4:23Speaker 6: have the most generous people, the most caring people, and
- 4:28Speaker 6: many times if you're physically not able to serve, you
- 4:31Speaker 6: can give money, but many times people give money as
- 4:34Speaker 6: well as volunteer several times a month. I just never
- 4:38Speaker 6: cease to be amazed at our community of how they
- 4:41Speaker 6: step up to meet the need.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it is, it is, and there's just examples of
- 4:45Speaker 3: it all over And you guys have.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Certainly filled a great need.
- 4:50Speaker 3: And continued to as you mentioned, and this event has
- 4:54Speaker 3: been really a great one for many years now, Brenda,
- 4:57Speaker 3: you've been working on it for I think I've.
- 5:00Speaker 5: This thirteen years. I came, they've been going three years.
- 5:04Speaker 6: But we've been true to Credit Union actually was the
- 5:08Speaker 6: one through their marketing department, which helped me. I had
- 5:12Speaker 6: struggled trying to get the thing on the road and
- 5:16Speaker 6: all the stuff, and they actually created our logo for us,
- 5:20Speaker 6: and it was it was through them that we actually
- 5:24Speaker 6: got started. And we appreciate them so much and they're
- 5:27Speaker 6: still sponsors of empty Bowls and.
- 5:32Speaker 4: It's just amazing.
- 5:33Speaker 2: We had a great list of sponsors. Yes, we do
- 5:35Speaker 2: pattered online.
- 5:36Speaker 3: And it's just a it's a it's a hall of
- 5:39Speaker 3: fame parts well, it truly is generous corporations and and
- 5:45Speaker 3: you know, I think it's also a unique event because
- 5:47Speaker 3: a lot of the the corporate campuses downtown really populate.
- 5:52Speaker 2: These people that come to each other.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Well they do.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Everybody has any lunch, and it's hot, you don't want
- 5:58Speaker 6: to be out walking the streets too much, you know,
- 6:00Speaker 6: and a lot of times the people they like it downtown.
- 6:03Speaker 6: We in fact, were two almost macs of where to
- 6:08Speaker 6: hold it because you know.
- 6:09Speaker 2: The food gets to food cool, and it's like.
- 6:12Speaker 4: We don't want to move it anywhere.
- 6:13Speaker 6: I mean, you got the casino out there, but he
- 6:16Speaker 6: wants to drive west of town and you know on
- 6:18Speaker 6: our lunch hower.
- 6:19Speaker 5: But not on that you we have to have a
- 6:20Speaker 5: place with a kitchen because of a food in some
- 6:24Speaker 5: places you have to use their kitchen, right food, So
- 6:27Speaker 5: this wouldn't work.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, so you know, and the casino's great, they come.
- 6:31Speaker 6: They actually are one of our vendors. But you know,
- 6:36Speaker 6: we just try to make it work. It's a come
- 6:38Speaker 6: and go thing. A lot of people sometimes stay, especially
- 6:42Speaker 6: if they got bids in the silent auction, but truly
- 6:46Speaker 6: it is a lunchtime come and go visit.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Get your role.
- 6:50Speaker 6: This year is going to be a little different because
- 6:52Speaker 6: we are celebrating our twenty fifth anniversary. We're going to
- 6:55Speaker 6: have and I'm gonna let Brenda tell a little bit
- 6:57Speaker 6: more about it. But when you get your bowl, there's
- 6:59Speaker 6: going to be a little wooden point in there that.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Has a number on it. She's going to what those
- 7:04Speaker 4: numbers mean.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Little wouldn't put Oh, I see, okay, it's a little.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Well, just thank Andrew at PDG for making.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Numbers.
- 7:15Speaker 4: I told him, I said, we only had like six
- 7:17Speaker 4: hundred people. We'll get eight hundred in cases do that.
- 7:22Speaker 5: But he came up. He came up with this idea
- 7:25Speaker 5: of for our twenty anniversary, twenty five reasons to give,
- 7:30Speaker 5: And his idea was for Sherry to find twenty five
- 7:34Speaker 5: volunteers with the people who attend or use a GOPI
- 7:38Speaker 5: and do a little by on iiO on them to bring.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Bring it to life.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Why pay a little more in depth of is Agafi
- 7:47Speaker 4: even here? Yeah? What have we done over the last
- 7:50Speaker 4: twenty five years?
- 7:51Speaker 3: I went to an event out of the lighthouse a
- 7:53Speaker 3: few weeks ago that was that was about like that
- 7:56Speaker 3: and it was really.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Uh dis inspirational.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So meet the people.
- 8:01Speaker 3: There that are, you know, looking for help and find
- 8:05Speaker 3: it a place to give them some structure and opportunities
- 8:08Speaker 3: to better themselves.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Yeah, well, oh, I don't know what you do.
- 8:15Speaker 5: This year, all the bowls will have a one of
- 8:17Speaker 5: these little numbers in the bowl. So when you pick
- 8:20Speaker 5: up your bowl, you'll find your number. And we have
- 8:24Speaker 5: those strips to give out to everybody that tells them
- 8:26Speaker 5: what to do. Okay that you take your number when
- 8:29Speaker 5: you go back to the table. Find this on your table,
- 8:32Speaker 5: look up your number and see what is your reason
- 8:35Speaker 5: for giving? And this reason is for Testany She's.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Testy, she's twenty five. She's eating at Agapi for
- 8:47Speaker 3: two years. Favorite a gopi meal, chicken and rice. Favorite hobby, hobby,
- 8:51Speaker 3: listen to music and watching TV. And the other needs
- 8:55Speaker 3: a job, transportation, housing and food stamps, which yeah, that
- 9:00Speaker 3: would is true in two years.
- 9:02Speaker 2: And so is there a waiting list? How do you
- 9:07Speaker 2: become a client? Is anyone just shows up?
- 9:11Speaker 4: You can show up.
- 9:12Speaker 6: We don't ask any financial information. I think the Good
- 9:15Speaker 6: Lord fed his people and he.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Didn't ask him for how much did you make today
- 9:19Speaker 4: or you know whatever. But you just come in the door.
- 9:23Speaker 6: You need to give him your name, address, and your
- 9:25Speaker 6: birthday because the birthday in our computer. The only reason
- 9:28Speaker 6: we have it is just to keep track of ages,
- 9:30Speaker 6: because we have demographics we have to take care of.
- 9:34Speaker 6: But you come in, give your name, they give you
- 9:36Speaker 6: a ticket. You're going get picked up your mail and
- 9:37Speaker 6: set out and eat. So there you know, and we
- 9:41Speaker 6: it it's a very neutral place. We try to you know,
- 9:45Speaker 6: some people might have a beef with somebody else, but
- 9:48Speaker 6: you better not show it there because you have the
- 9:50Speaker 6: risk of not getting to eat there if you're going
- 9:52Speaker 6: to cause problem. And to really be honest, over the
- 9:56Speaker 6: last twenty five years, I always just tell people have
- 9:59Speaker 6: real big aims, Joseph, because it's really been at a
- 10:02Speaker 6: minimum considering how many people that we serve. You know,
- 10:08Speaker 6: the last week of July we've had three hundred and
- 10:11Speaker 6: fifty people every.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Day was the end of the month. Ish, it's have
- 10:16Speaker 4: you been to grocery store land? You know?
- 10:19Speaker 6: Have you paid gas lite, have you paid rent? Yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 6: it's just amazing how the numbers are growing.
- 10:29Speaker 4: And then.
- 10:33Speaker 6: The housing problem in Barnesville, we have one because there
- 10:36Speaker 6: is none. You know, we have no blow and everything
- 10:39Speaker 6: is full. And if you're going to try to get
- 10:40Speaker 6: in a section eight halfing, it's a two year wait.
- 10:44Speaker 1: You know.
- 10:45Speaker 4: It's just it's tough everywhere.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Uh.
- 10:48Speaker 4: And So basically agape is A is a Christian place.
- 10:52Speaker 4: We have Christian music that's playing.
- 10:55Speaker 6: Everybody that volunteers with it us know that we start
- 10:58Speaker 6: the day off with prayer and our day seems to
- 11:01Speaker 6: go busy but.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Good and they can come in and have a good meal.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Sometimes people have extenuating needs and we try to either
- 11:13Speaker 6: give them a resource to go to that has whatever, or.
- 11:17Speaker 4: You know, we have extra little things that sometimes we
- 11:20Speaker 4: can help them. We just try to assess each individual.
- 11:23Speaker 6: As we can help them, which is as different as
- 11:26Speaker 6: are as people.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Yeah, oh sorry, back to the twenty five reasons. This
- 11:32Speaker 5: is a card that's going to be on the table,
- 11:34Speaker 5: and the twenty five dollars that you pay for a
- 11:37Speaker 5: ticket will feed five meals for a person. So we're
- 11:42Speaker 5: going to try to have a little mini fundraiser during
- 11:44Speaker 5: the event. Mike Wilk's going to help us with that.
- 11:47Speaker 5: And so if you donate twenty five dollars, you know
- 11:50Speaker 5: that you could feed one of these people, or any
- 11:52Speaker 5: five meals if you do fifteen ten meals. So we're
- 11:56Speaker 5: trying to bring it all together and maybe do a
- 11:58Speaker 5: quick fundraiser there to see how much we can get
- 12:02Speaker 5: that day.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's kind of like a paddle raising.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Yeah I can get hurry, Yeah, yeah, he's he's good.
- 12:10Speaker 5: So I'm glad he volunteered. I promised him I wouldn't
- 12:13Speaker 5: make him dress up in a costumes.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I'm a little hard after.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Well, I was just going to ask about volunteer opportunities
- 12:25Speaker 3: and I know that's so important to what makes it
- 12:27Speaker 3: all come together?
- 12:28Speaker 4: Is it truly is.
- 12:31Speaker 2: With all the other stuff going on, you can't afford
- 12:34Speaker 2: to be paying.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Staff and now and and you know you have to
- 12:37Speaker 6: have I mean for everything that needs everything, no getting
- 12:43Speaker 6: the food to the to.
- 12:44Speaker 2: The community center. I'm sure that she's.
- 12:49Speaker 6: Well, it's a neat thing that we do because you know,
- 12:52Speaker 6: because we're a United Way anciency, there's a day of caring.
- 12:56Speaker 6: And oh, I don't know, it's.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Probably ten and twelve year years ago.
- 13:00Speaker 6: I had the like come on in my head, you know,
- 13:03Speaker 6: one morning at a United Way dinner a meeting, monthly meeting,
- 13:08Speaker 6: and it was like, oh, I could use my day
- 13:11Speaker 6: of caring for empty bowls and we can have a
- 13:14Speaker 6: conical Phillips group or Phillips the Trillium group come in
- 13:17Speaker 6: and anyway it'll worked. Now it's a coveted thing. They're
- 13:21Speaker 6: up till midday as soon as they're going to put
- 13:24Speaker 6: those day of carrying projects on them because they want
- 13:28Speaker 6: they're inside. It's cool, they get to serve meal, they
- 13:30Speaker 6: get to visit. You know, it's a win win thing.
- 13:33Speaker 6: And so we have a group of Phillips that comes
- 13:35Speaker 6: in on that on the empty balls day and they
- 13:39Speaker 6: decorate the tables, they serve.
- 13:40Speaker 4: The meals, they help us clean, they take out the drives,
- 13:43Speaker 4: they do all that.
- 13:44Speaker 2: That's great, Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 4: And we get money for it. They get for so many.
- 13:49Speaker 6: Hours a volunteer time for every twenty hours a GOPA
- 13:54Speaker 6: gets five hundred dollars.
- 13:56Speaker 4: So wor's that great?
- 13:58Speaker 3: That is a great story and just kind of doubles
- 14:01Speaker 3: and multiplies all the efforts.
- 14:03Speaker 4: That and then we need of course volunteers every day.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:06Speaker 6: No, we would love to get started with a second.
- 14:10Speaker 6: I kind of keep it as a hush hush kind
- 14:13Speaker 6: of program that way do because if I advertise that
- 14:17Speaker 6: like I probably ought to, I'd need five or six
- 14:20Speaker 6: groups teams to deliver. We do a senior meal program
- 14:26Speaker 6: every day, five days a week, and I have a
- 14:28Speaker 6: group of one person does it one day a week,
- 14:33Speaker 6: and I only have enough people to do to do
- 14:36Speaker 6: what and that's about twenty to twenty one meals, and
- 14:41Speaker 6: so I really need another group. I need five to
- 14:46Speaker 6: ten people. Sometimes husband and wife.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Does it together. Sometimes it's just a single person. It
- 14:52Speaker 4: takes about an hour, hour and a half to deliver,
- 14:55Speaker 4: you know, twenty meals. It's all in Bartlesville. You don't
- 14:58Speaker 4: have to go outside of.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Bartlesville and about ten forty five and you're usually done
- 15:05Speaker 6: twelve thirty one.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Depends on how the best you drive. But we've made
- 15:09Speaker 4: the route to.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Where it's smooth, and if I get the team together,
- 15:15Speaker 6: then I can open it up for more meals. But
- 15:19Speaker 6: at this point, I just you know, I don't have
- 15:21Speaker 6: enough people. And then you can come in a couple
- 15:24Speaker 6: hours a day and volunteer. You know, we're chopping salads,
- 15:27Speaker 6: fixing tea and coffee, and washing dishes and you know,
- 15:31Speaker 6: serving the meal from eleven to bolding towels, you know,
- 15:38Speaker 6: getting sacks. We have a table.
- 15:40Speaker 4: We go to those grocery stores.
- 15:42Speaker 6: We're basically feeding the world on what the grocery stores
- 15:45Speaker 6: cannot sell at this point. So we go to the
- 15:48Speaker 6: grocery stores and pick up five days a week.
- 15:51Speaker 4: One story we pick.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Up five days a week, one story we pick up
- 15:54Speaker 6: one day a week, another story we pick up two
- 15:57Speaker 6: days a week, another story we pick up three days.
- 16:00Speaker 6: So we're gathering all this stuff in and whatever we
- 16:03Speaker 6: can't use. Then daily we'll mark through the bar coats
- 16:08Speaker 6: and we we have like a little snack table that's
- 16:10Speaker 6: open till one and we give them three items, you know,
- 16:14Speaker 6: to be able to take home with them. So you know,
- 16:17Speaker 6: I mean we're just trying to be good stewards of
- 16:19Speaker 6: everything the Good Lord gives us to help somebody else.
- 16:22Speaker 2: What a great story.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I mean that's coming from the grocery stores.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And you know, just everybody working together.
- 16:30Speaker 6: You know, First Church out on Price Road, they grow
- 16:33Speaker 6: a garden for us every year, and so it's such
- 16:36Speaker 6: a blessing to come in and we've got okra and cucumbers.
- 16:40Speaker 4: We do cucumber.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Salads every day. We do a salad every day. We
- 16:44Speaker 6: get you know, fresh herbs.
- 16:46Speaker 4: All those different things. So we love garden time.
- 16:49Speaker 6: I grew up with grandparents that had two gardens every year,
- 16:52Speaker 6: and so you don't know how you miss those things
- 16:54Speaker 6: that you don't have it anymore. And gardens was such
- 16:57Speaker 6: a blessing.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I wish to everybody grew a gardener.
- 16:59Speaker 6: I wish I had a big old where we just
- 17:00Speaker 6: pres Oh, yes, absolutely so. We even had They even
- 17:06Speaker 6: had candle this year that I think always tried to
- 17:09Speaker 6: grow in. But you know, with the weather and different
- 17:11Speaker 6: things and rain, it's hard to sometimes this year, we've
- 17:14Speaker 6: had some really nice handling.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Great well, it has been a heck of a summer.
- 17:18Speaker 3: We're into hot stretch here this weekend, right, yeah, I
- 17:22Speaker 3: mean all the rain and everything else. We finally at
- 17:25Speaker 3: the dealership. We had the sign on the front of
- 17:28Speaker 3: the building kind of blew off at one point on
- 17:30Speaker 3: a strange, strange event because it was an odd kind
- 17:35Speaker 3: of north coming out of the northeast wind that and
- 17:38Speaker 3: it pulled it off and next thing I know, it's
- 17:40Speaker 3: bouncing on the on the ground. Luckily it didn't damn
- 17:43Speaker 3: any any vehicles. That's finally been replaced. In the last
- 17:47Speaker 3: week or so, we're off and running at the dealership
- 17:50Speaker 3: into our August big national sales event for Toyota. We've
- 17:55Speaker 3: got our probably our best inventory of the year and
- 17:58Speaker 3: its model year in out time so and actually our
- 18:02Speaker 3: region is going through their fiscal year in so.
- 18:05Speaker 2: They try to ship every vehicle they.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Can in August, get them all out and we're in
- 18:10Speaker 3: the switchover time from twenty fives to twenty six is
- 18:14Speaker 3: so you've got kind of the best.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Of both worlds. Great deals on.
- 18:17Speaker 3: The on the twenty twenty fives, the best incentives and
- 18:20Speaker 3: discounts of the year, plus you've got some twenty six
- 18:23Speaker 3: is starting to show up. If you're looking for the
- 18:25Speaker 3: latest model and I want to check things out. I
- 18:27Speaker 3: saw we had our first twenty twenty six as we're arriving,
- 18:31Speaker 3: just as I got in the car to come over
- 18:34Speaker 3: here a Prius. A couple of Priuses on the ground
- 18:36Speaker 3: this morning, and continuing to sell about half our cars
- 18:41Speaker 3: out of the pipeline, so they're unfortunately a lot of
- 18:44Speaker 3: them we're selling before they actually even hit the lot
- 18:46Speaker 3: and you get a chance to look at them. But
- 18:48Speaker 3: that makes for a pretty healthy turn rate on the
- 18:51Speaker 3: toy oners and.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Selling a lot and are earning more.
- 18:54Speaker 3: We'll get our next allocation next week and have more.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Twenty twenty six is in that, including things like the
- 19:01Speaker 3: Grand Highlander and Highlander and some of our best models.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And we do have a great inventory right now. I
- 19:08Speaker 3: mentioned that we stuff like a Tundra, a TRD Pro.
- 19:13Speaker 3: We've got a couple of rab fours available, some lots
- 19:18Speaker 3: of Tacomas to other Tundras, the all new four Runner,
- 19:23Speaker 3: which really people need to check it out.
- 19:26Speaker 2: It's a great vehicle.
- 19:27Speaker 3: You can get them for a four by four kind
- 19:31Speaker 3: of a middle of the road one for in the
- 19:33Speaker 3: mid forties. It's really nice value for a lot of vehicle.
- 19:37Speaker 3: And then you can obviously look also at the land
- 19:41Speaker 3: Cruiser or the Sequaia.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Which are step up from the fore Erunner, and if.
- 19:46Speaker 3: You want a little bit smaller vehicle, the RAB four
- 19:49Speaker 3: and the Corolla Cross and our great Crown Insignia and
- 19:53Speaker 3: then the Crown and Camery Corolla. You know. So all
- 19:57Speaker 3: of those are great choices and they're all availab Bolt
- 20:00Speaker 3: now a Dungeons.
- 20:02Speaker 2: We are the.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Oklahoma's oldest Toyota dealer and proud to be that, and
- 20:06Speaker 3: and proud to sport organizations like Agape and the empty bowls.
- 20:12Speaker 3: And another unique thing about the event is the bulls themselves, right,
- 20:17Speaker 3: we haven't talked about that.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Well, you get a unique bowl. In fact, we've had
- 20:20Speaker 4: people ask us if we could.
- 20:25Speaker 6: If we could, you know, do you have another bowl
- 20:28Speaker 6: like this? It's like, no, they are all one of
- 20:31Speaker 6: a kind. You have the original. Cindy Keeler from No
- 20:35Speaker 6: Wada and her ladies do this every year.
- 20:39Speaker 4: They've done it. I don't know that. Yeah, yeah, a
- 20:44Speaker 4: long time.
- 20:45Speaker 6: In fact, we wore out her first kill and we
- 20:47Speaker 6: had to buy her another one. But she does a
- 20:50Speaker 6: great They do a great job every year and and
- 20:53Speaker 6: that's a that's another thing that everybody can't wait. In fact,
- 20:55Speaker 6: they'll come in the door, give their ticket, go turn
- 20:58Speaker 6: their chair up and head to the bolt because they
- 21:01Speaker 6: want to get their bowl. That's right, and we you know,
- 21:05Speaker 6: we we pray that you every time you look at
- 21:08Speaker 6: that bowl, you remember that there's hungry people in Bartlesville.
- 21:11Speaker 6: And do I need to go volunteer this week or
- 21:14Speaker 6: do I need to give some money?
- 21:18Speaker 2: That's great? And they're really beautiful balls, they are.
- 21:22Speaker 4: They truly are.
- 21:23Speaker 6: I painted one one time because I am not a
- 21:25Speaker 6: I'm a I'm a crafter, but painting and drawing is
- 21:29Speaker 6: not my forte.
- 21:30Speaker 4: And I thought, oh, this thing's gonna be terrible.
- 21:32Speaker 6: But after she put it in that killn that come out,
- 21:34Speaker 6: it was like I did that.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I do I have to think about making six hundred.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Balls or more. I'm mistakes sometimes some unique things.
- 21:48Speaker 4: There's some doggy bowls that we've had.
- 21:50Speaker 6: We've had cups, plates, saucers, Christmas decorations, you know, when
- 21:57Speaker 6: we give the do the silent Auction have a lot
- 22:00Speaker 6: of the bigger unique items in there. And and it's
- 22:04Speaker 6: not just bowls or plates or pictures or whatever, but
- 22:08Speaker 6: there's also little goodies that some of our sponsors in
- 22:14Speaker 6: town will donate, like a gift card to you, don't
- 22:17Speaker 6: I think, uh boomerang. They do, like burgers in a
- 22:24Speaker 6: little car thing like burgers for a year. You get
- 22:27Speaker 6: a burger Hamburger, Yeah for a week for a year.
- 22:30Speaker 5: And we get like crank and lolos at a gift
- 22:33Speaker 5: card and lollipops and slot skis and see who.
- 22:38Speaker 6: So we put those in the in the silent option
- 22:40Speaker 6: things to make it a little more and autolutely coffee.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Gave me coffee I asked for I said, we do
- 22:46Speaker 4: donate a pounty. Gave me five.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Let's talk about the logistics a little bit again. When
- 22:53Speaker 2: does it start. It's August twenty.
- 22:55Speaker 4: It's August twenty six at the community.

- 23:34Speaker 2: lot of restaurants you mentioned new ones coming.
