- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Ileana, Lauren, uh, Heather, we're gonna get back to that.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: Happy Victory Monday.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, we'll come back to that.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: Depending on your team.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know how many Texan fans are sitting around here in the uh twin tiers.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Oh no, I was thinking of my Browns.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: They didn't do well yesterday.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Really didn't expect 4093.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Just said morning.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: 441.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: 4441.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Good morning.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Morning.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Everyone's Monday.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: 1336.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Good everyone.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Happy Monday.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: And um, let's see.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, good everyone.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: I miss seeing you guys at Nelly on Friday.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, we saw everybody else.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I uh we tried to say hi to as many people as we could, and it just I couldn't even see people.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Well, you know the thing, there were so many people, it's like everyone's like a blur.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Uh that's what it was.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: And also, uh, because um it, you know, we're getting darker and all that.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: By the time we got out to come and say hi to, you know, just kind of mingle through the crowd for a few minutes, um, it was already pitch black.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So I was like, I mean, everyone, we'd walk by people and be like, hey, it's got an alley.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, hi, I don't know where you are.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I feel like that was our bad too.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: We should have got there earlier for that part.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: I wasn't thinking about how dark it was going to get.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: I know it happened so quick.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: I do have to shout out the guy from On a Roll.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: This is a place I love eating at.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: And he came up, he was talking and he talking to us, and and he's like, Oh, and I even listened to your podcast.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Love it.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, look at you.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Not Ferrare, a new one tomorrow.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: And then I said, I said, you know, when you see somebody not where you normally see them and you can't figure out how you know them.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, how do I know you?
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: And he said, Honoral.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yes, yeah, it's okay.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: And he goes, it's the same thing.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: I he says, I see you come in all the time, and I didn't know it was you until one day you showed up on my social algorithm, and he goes, What wait a second?
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Yep, that's the way it sometimes works.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Shout out to that dude from Honor Roll.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: But by the way, I did want to say thank you very much to everybody that was at Nelly that we did get a chance to say hi to.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It is always really, really awesome when you're kind of just wandering around and uh, you know, people are excited to see and say hi.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: And and it was great because no one else is.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: No.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Uh, but uh, it was just really, really nice to see everybody that we were able to, you know, either do a picture with or just say hi.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: I go home and Junior's like, You again.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what exactly.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: That's one of my favorite parts sometimes of doing those big concerts beyond even seeing the show, is like just seeing the peeps, just getting to hang out for a little bit, you know, and and everybody together in one.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Anyway, back to the three observations from the weekend.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: So the first one was I said, I don't believe there's one woman that can put on mascara without her mouth instantly dropping open the second that the brush gets near the eye eyeball.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: This is true.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden goes from I'm having a normal conversation to it's going to be a rainy day, a rainy day.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: What?
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: And if you don't know how to translate mascara mouth, start learning if you're a guy.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Because I actually held a full conversation with Allie while she did both eyes driving the tags.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Next and yes.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: I told you how we had to usher a couple of people around that needed to be in a certain place.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: So we kind of took a bunk route to get them to where they had to be.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: They were already fully ticketed and everything.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: We're just like, okay, we're avoiding the 5,000 of our closest friends to get you where you got to be quickly.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: And the s the show was starting.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: So we ended up uh going through an area where the security guard, and for the most part, the security people realized very quickly either they know who we are or they know we're there for a purpose.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: So they they don't really mess with us in any way, shape, or form.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: They're nice.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: So the one gentleman that was over by the I'm gonna call it side stage, more of VIP area.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he was actually helping us at one point move a barrier so you and I could come back.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And I had already talked to him about this because we were chatting before you got over there uh earlier in the evening.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And I go, please tell Allie the observation that you thought you had about us.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And he goes, Oh yeah.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: He goes, first of all, I thought Allie was blonde.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Which I never understand, but a lot of people say this about me.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: I've been blonde once.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: It was not good.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: It was in college and bleached my scalp.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: But the the best the best observation was he goes, and I thought Scott was always wearing a suit.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Meaning, like, I'm always doing the show to suit.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't even own a suit.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: No, I don't know.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: I've never seen you, I've seen you in a dress shirt and tie.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, sure.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: I've seen you in a sports coat before, but then you don't own a phone.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: But we're telling the combination doesn't happen.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't own a suit.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: You don't even own like a jacket that matches with the pants.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Not really.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: I probably at this point should just go, well, those I should maybe get one.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So Zach has one suit and he wore it recently.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: We were together and he wore this, and he goes, This is the suit from my dad's funeral.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: A lot of times that's why the guys buy a suit.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Unless you have to wear it every day for your job.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: So I said, you know, one day when we get married, can you get a new one?
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: I don't want your dad's funeral suit to be the wedding suit.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: So I love the fact that the guy thought that I wore a suit every time.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: So I'm sitting here in my tie in my sport code right now.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Tighten that up a little bit.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Here you go.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Observation number three from over the weekend.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: This is what actually spawned me having to text myself to remind myself this.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, what?
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Saturday morning, uh, the kids wanted donuts, so I got up.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: And I'm driving to Duncan, you know, down here uh in Elmyra, the the one over by um not far from Elm Chevrolet, right?
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: So it's on church.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm coming back.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm coming back.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: And no, it's on is that on church?
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's on church.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: It's on church, yeah.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Because it's right next to my church.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: So I convenient.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: I know, right?
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: So I'm driving back and I'm at the stoplight uh at uh Main Street and church, right?
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Langdon Plaza there, another church go figure over there.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Yep, I know that.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Show the rubble of the burned down church back there.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Right, right, right.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I saw something I've never seen in my life.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: That's the church over there.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: I uh I saw something in my life I've never seen before.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: What?
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: You know the scooters that people ride around in that have a form of a disability or laziness?
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: One of the two.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: That's the reason they do it.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: And uh more disability.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: More disability, but there are, I'm sure that have you ever seen a two-seater scooter?
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: One in the front, one in the back.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: I tandem! I tandem scooter.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Tandem scooter.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: I I was I was in such shock.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: I had mascara mouth.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: I couldn't even take a picture of it.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: It would it happened so quick.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: I'm like This is amazing.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: I am and I'm watching these this guy.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: The guy's driving.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Of course the guy's driving the scooter, right?
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And his is and of course she's the old lady.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: The old lady's behind.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: The old ladies behind him.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: I've never seen a tandem scooter in my life until.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, only in and I said it out loud, only in downtown Elmira.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: When you have a scooter, there's always a basket on the front.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, there was a big one.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: When you, okay, when you have a tandem scooter, is there is it basket person basket person?
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: No, no, it was or is it basket person basket?
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Bingo.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: Oh I have never seen it before.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Do you think that that dude would, or that broad would give me a ride?
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, sure.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: Fun.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: I was and of course Imagine me like scooting from like illegal, Patrick's.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna stop at Vincenzo's get a slice of pizza.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: I have never I the the the the old lady, uh you know, his old lady in the back there, she looked like a bobblehead just riding along.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Like didn't have anything else.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: But I'm I'm like, I've never seen a tandem scooter.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I have to that's incredible.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Also, when it's raining, I wonder if they get those really big umbrellas and if they've got like a little hole or something to put the umbrella in.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Now it looks like a hot dog cart.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Yes, hot dog cart on wheels.
