- 0:06Speaker 1: All right, guys, let's get into it today. It's gonna
- 0:07Speaker 1: be a good one. We're gonna break down Render. I
- 0:09Speaker 1: think you don't want to miss it. It's got some
- 0:11Speaker 1: very interesting points they could set you up in this
- 0:14Speaker 1: bull run. My name is Paul Barrel, Welcome back in
- 0:16Speaker 1: a tech path. I do want to think our sponsor
- 0:18Speaker 1: today and that is Tangum. This is the place to
- 0:21Speaker 1: start and get your self custody journey underway. And listen, guys,
- 0:25Speaker 1: this is one thing that is probably one of the
- 0:27Speaker 1: most important things to do, and that is to get
- 0:31Speaker 1: ready to be able to offload from exchanges. If you're
- 0:34Speaker 1: gonna hold tokens, even you're gonna go into USDC or
- 0:37Speaker 1: other stable coins out there, get a self custody wallet.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Tangent is the way to go. Use our code down below,
- 0:43Speaker 1: very easy to set up, super secure. Go ahead and
- 0:46Speaker 1: start getting that stuff in place right now with your
- 0:50Speaker 1: self custody plan to get started, Let's go over to
- 0:53Speaker 1: the topic today and that is render. Render of course
- 0:55Speaker 1: has been doing some things in the background, as you
- 0:58Speaker 1: guys know, O Toy and Octane already on play right now.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Maxon getting ready to go with redshift and then of
- 1:06Speaker 1: course their newest cycle of innovation coming into one of
- 1:10Speaker 1: the most advanced three D tools out there with Blender.
- 1:13Speaker 1: So I want to go to a clip real quick,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and this is in reference to light Field Labs in
- 1:17Speaker 1: case you don't know. Render purchased them a while back
- 1:19Speaker 1: and they were trying to achieve something that was very unique.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Take a look at this clip and you'll get an idea.
- 1:25Speaker 2: That these are all great techniques, great technologies for what
- 1:29Speaker 2: they are, but they're not forming an actual object. Let's
- 1:33Speaker 2: now compare that to a stereoscopic display. You're getting the
- 1:38Speaker 2: warbage that occurs from different keystones because it is an
- 1:41Speaker 2: illusion that your left eye right I have to put
- 1:44Speaker 2: together in the brain with stereopsis. So let's now jump
- 1:47Speaker 2: to comparing that to a multiplanar volumetric display. You won't
- 1:51Speaker 2: actually see something occluded something else. You'll also see things
- 1:55Speaker 2: that kind of get somewhat blown out, or you'll see
- 1:58Speaker 2: the black halos around objects as you're moving around. Now
- 2:02Speaker 2: we're going to compare this to a perfect wavefront display.
- 2:07Speaker 2: You are actually creating the exact object with the reflections,
- 2:11Speaker 2: the refractions focusing accurately. The butterflies here you see going
- 2:15Speaker 2: helps a focus as the eye is moving in and out,
- 2:19Speaker 2: a focus depending on where you the viewer would be
- 2:22Speaker 2: selecting that is now indistinguishable from the real thing. And
- 2:28Speaker 2: when you put all of these things together, you then
- 2:32Speaker 2: have two and a half billion pixels that are modulating
- 2:35Speaker 2: in full real time. One of our ultimate goals and
- 2:38Speaker 2: dreams is to build the true holideck. So going from
- 2:41Speaker 2: this fish scene now to large environments, things where you
- 2:44Speaker 2: can project holographic dolphins, for example, ten billion pixels per
- 2:49Speaker 2: square meter.
- 2:50Speaker 1: All right, so one of the things that hit, of
- 2:52Speaker 1: course is the holid deck. This is one of the
- 2:53Speaker 1: things they released at this event that they just did
- 2:56Speaker 1: last week. That's Joel Zarbach, who is the founder Render
- 3:00Speaker 1: the Tech Forum, and they were talking about this very
- 3:02Speaker 1: issue and these are the kind of advancements that Render
- 3:04Speaker 1: has been able to do. And I want you to
- 3:06Speaker 1: think about this because if you look at where Nvidia
- 3:09Speaker 1: has come from, you look at the kind of technology
- 3:12Speaker 1: that we've seen develop over time, especially around GPUs and
- 3:17Speaker 1: the processing power of cloud rendering capabilities, that's where Render
- 3:22Speaker 1: is heading. This next clip, we'll get into Jules Erbach
- 3:26Speaker 1: talking about the holidack. Now, this is a very important clip.
- 3:28Speaker 3: So take a look.
- 3:30Speaker 4: And Bill Gates as an investor, you know, there's a
- 3:32Speaker 4: lot of excitement around this kind of technology. Google's working
- 3:36Speaker 4: on something similar, but nowhere in your the fidelity, but
- 3:38Speaker 4: life a lot is doing close with the video showing
- 3:41Speaker 4: how it all works.
- 3:43Speaker 3: That's what would be doing.
- 3:47Speaker 4: This is a room, by the way, with the lightful
- 3:50Speaker 4: panels and touchdensing all integrating. So this is going to
- 4:05Speaker 4: be in theme parks and concerts and things like that. First,
- 4:11Speaker 4: the panels for this will be shipping in next year.
- 4:14Speaker 4: By the end of this decade, you'll start to see
- 4:16Speaker 4: one hundred inch telegraphic TVs and panels and the like,
- 4:19Speaker 4: and eventually we see these things mean something that replaces
- 4:22Speaker 4: your garage or your living room area with a window
- 4:25Speaker 4: into anything. Right, and as the cost of these panels
- 4:28Speaker 4: goes down to the cost of an old or even cheaper,
- 4:31Speaker 4: I think that's what we're going to be experiencing. And
- 4:34Speaker 4: we have investors in our parent company, O Toy, including
- 4:37Speaker 4: Warner Brothers, Disney and others.
- 4:38Speaker 1: All right, so you can kind of see the holiday theme,
- 4:41Speaker 1: of course, can come from Star Trek lore and the
- 4:44Speaker 1: reality is that this is here now they're going to
- 4:46Speaker 1: theme parks. First show, we'll see that, but I think
- 4:48Speaker 1: we're going to see this in productivity. You can see
- 4:50Speaker 1: this in all sorts of industries. This is a big deal.
- 4:53Speaker 1: If you go back to one of renders blog posts
- 4:55Speaker 1: on Medium, this was in December of twenty twenty, okay,
- 5:00Speaker 1: And I want you to go back and look at
- 5:01Speaker 1: their advisors. So there's JJ Abrams, There's Ari Emmanuel, Jennifer
- 5:05Speaker 1: Zeo Scott. There's some pretty heavy hitters here. And why
- 5:09Speaker 1: is that important? Well, this next clip we'll get into
- 5:12Speaker 1: a little bit of some of these advisors and what
- 5:15Speaker 1: they think the future really means for render. Here's ari Emanuel.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 5:21Speaker 5: But I'll just say when I saw his technology, I
- 5:24Speaker 5: realize where production could go. And so I've just been
- 5:30Speaker 5: along for the ride. He's on the verge of some
- 5:32Speaker 5: really incredible stuff right now.
- 5:34Speaker 1: All right, So Aria Manuel in because you don't know
- 5:36Speaker 1: UFC essentially one of the key owners of UFC and
- 5:39Speaker 1: the likelihood of entertainment, especially when you look at what's
- 5:42Speaker 1: happening in the performance sport world and you look at
- 5:46Speaker 1: this post. This was a blog post back in twenty
- 5:48Speaker 1: seventeen by Ari Emmanuel and if you look at some
- 5:51Speaker 1: of the things he was talking about within this, one
- 5:53Speaker 1: of the things it's all going to be built on Render.
- 5:56Speaker 1: We have lined up and signed deals with all of
- 5:58Speaker 1: the major media companies, Clued, Dizzy, the HBO, Facebook, Unity
- 6:01Speaker 1: Light stages will be built at our WEME offices for
- 6:05Speaker 1: blockchain based scans of all of our clients and athletes.
- 6:07Speaker 1: So this is now becoming reality. And I know that
- 6:11Speaker 1: it's taken some time, but what we are now starting
- 6:13Speaker 1: to see is the reality of cloud based compute that
- 6:18Speaker 1: may be outpacing that that we know today in terms
- 6:23Speaker 1: of things like AWS, micro and Azure, all of the
- 6:26Speaker 1: big ones that are out there in terms of the
- 6:28Speaker 1: capability of where our current technologies are today. So you
- 6:31Speaker 1: guys got to get ready for something that is really
- 6:33Speaker 1: going to change going forward. Jennifer Zoo Scott, this is
- 6:37Speaker 1: her of course World Economic Forum, also a council member
- 6:40Speaker 1: of the Future block Chain Council, And these are the
- 6:43Speaker 1: kind of people that I think understand the vision of
- 6:46Speaker 1: what Jewels Zerbach is trying to achieve. All right, So
- 6:48Speaker 1: this next clip we'll get into a little bit of
- 6:50Speaker 1: the understanding of why Render could get adopted much quicker.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And one of the key reasons here is AI. And
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think most people when they're investing today in crypto,
- 6:59Speaker 1: they probably don't understand what most of it is. But
- 7:01Speaker 1: you ask them most sharp investors, if you ask them
- 7:05Speaker 1: about Nvidia, they completely understand the business model where it's going. Well,
- 7:08Speaker 1: that's exactly where this could go. Here's Jennifer talking about
- 7:11Speaker 1: the value of what this means. Take a look.
- 7:14Speaker 6: I took a huge risk and I bought some BiCon
- 7:17Speaker 6: and one hundred dollars and when you went to three thousand,
- 7:21Speaker 6: I thought, oh my god, I made so much money.
- 7:24Speaker 6: This is my third full cycle. Twent on sixteen. We
- 7:28Speaker 6: were selected by WEF as you know, two of the
- 7:32Speaker 6: sixteen people in the Future Blockchain Console. And that time.
- 7:36Speaker 6: The difference then was that a lot of those earlier
- 7:40Speaker 6: crypto bros they created the just completely from tech point
- 7:44Speaker 6: of view and made no sense to the real world.
- 7:47Speaker 6: But this time around, I actually think it's quite different.
- 7:50Speaker 6: What implications is I going to have for these GPU companies?
- 7:54Speaker 6: What is their share price? And this whole race if
- 7:57Speaker 6: you take a look at the what's happened in the
- 8:00Speaker 6: global taxing right localized the AI local agent is going
- 8:06Speaker 6: to happen. A couple of trends need to notice here,
- 8:09Speaker 6: as we have already well addressed, and that in China,
- 8:11Speaker 6: GPU is becoming a resource that's very difficult to access.
- 8:16Speaker 6: They will have the capability to hold their own data
- 8:19Speaker 6: locally processed locally. Of course, there's a trade off in
- 8:22Speaker 6: terms of efficiency and performance, but eventually I think those
- 8:26Speaker 6: kind of alternative as oppose very centralized approach that I
- 8:29Speaker 6: open anie will start to flourish. It will become much
- 8:31Speaker 6: more popular outside of the US system. Combined with regulation
- 8:36Speaker 6: is probably the recipe, the best recipe you can have
- 8:39Speaker 6: right now.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So what she's getting at here is decentralized compute versus
- 8:43Speaker 1: centralized compute. And if you look at the models that
- 8:46Speaker 1: industry has taken around cloud computing in general, well that's
- 8:50Speaker 1: been some of the biggest performers out there, including things
- 8:53Speaker 1: like Amazon Abs and Google's a zoor. So where does
- 8:57Speaker 1: this go? Well, this next clip will outline on this
- 9:00Speaker 1: could be the biggest play you've made in crypto just yet.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 9:04Speaker 4: The reason why I built render initially was we were
- 9:07Speaker 4: doing CGI renders on AWS and at that time we
- 9:10Speaker 4: knew that GPUs were going on afus that didn't exist
- 9:13Speaker 4: before then. Really, we even helped ABS design the G
- 9:17Speaker 4: two instance, which was the very first data center GPU.
- 9:20Speaker 4: If those cards weren't any better than what you could
- 9:22Speaker 4: buy Best Buy, but there were ten times more expensive,
- 9:25Speaker 4: and in Vidia had Ayula right that says you can't
- 9:27Speaker 4: use g force card in a server. That meant that
- 9:31Speaker 4: Amazon and as Room when they followed, and Google Compute
- 9:34Speaker 4: always had to pay more, even just for traditional cloud
- 9:37Speaker 4: gaming card, and that's where Render was born. When you
- 9:39Speaker 4: move towards AI, really the big things are memory and
- 9:43Speaker 4: the ability to pull things together, which is important for training,
- 9:46Speaker 4: not so much for inference. Another interesting vendor is Apple.
- 9:49Speaker 4: I mean, if we imagine to do centralized future that
- 9:52Speaker 4: can leverage iPhones and iPads and even max which have
- 9:55Speaker 4: frankly a ton of memory, and Apples committed to making
- 9:58Speaker 4: as much as possible work local. That's their selling point
- 10:01Speaker 4: for future iPhones, and they're taking that VERYSIO hardware now
- 10:04Speaker 4: and putting it for the first time on the cloud.
- 10:07Speaker 4: That could be amazing for the future of what we're
- 10:09Speaker 4: all looking for.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So when you take in all that into consideration, Render
- 10:13Speaker 1: with a decentralized compute model is essentially going to take
- 10:16Speaker 1: over all of this because it's going to be easier, cheaper,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and more efficient when it comes to being able to
- 10:22Speaker 1: do a lot of these advanced compute projects. So a
- 10:24Speaker 1: lot happening here for sure. Look at the size of
- 10:28Speaker 1: the market as it is right now. You look at
- 10:30Speaker 1: Crypto kind of hovering in between number four and five
- 10:33Speaker 1: right there between Alpha and this is in terms of
- 10:35Speaker 1: overall market caap around two seven to two right now trillion.
- 10:38Speaker 1: If this absolutely continues to climb and we see render
- 10:42Speaker 1: as a big part of this, look at where Nvidia
- 10:44Speaker 1: sets at three point six trillion right now, Apple at
- 10:47Speaker 1: around three point four trillion, and remember cloud compute lives
- 10:52Speaker 1: in those top three really the top five, Apple, Google, Microsoft,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and in Vidia. All of this starting to tie in
- 11:00Speaker 1: could be one of the biggest, biggest wins out there overall.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I want to go to this next clip because this
- 11:05Speaker 1: is Jensen Kwang from Nvidia and he talks about where
- 11:08Speaker 1: render could be going.
- 11:09Speaker 7: Take a look, two hundred to three hundred thousand GPU
- 11:13Speaker 7: clusters are are here. How long can you sustain what
- 11:19Speaker 7: you're doing today? And does the demand for your products
- 11:24Speaker 7: depend on it? Scaling two millions.
- 11:28Speaker 3: That part. The last part is know, my sense is
- 11:32Speaker 3: that distributed training will have to work, and my sense
- 11:36Speaker 3: is that that distributed computing will be invented and some
- 11:41Speaker 3: form of federator learning and distributed you know, asynchronous distributed
- 11:46Speaker 3: computing is going to is going to be discovered and
- 11:51Speaker 3: I'm very very enthusiastic and very optimistic about that. Do
- 11:55Speaker 3: we think that we need millions of GPUs, No doubt? Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 3: that is that is a for certain now about to
- 12:01Speaker 3: go up by a billion times.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Right, by a million X, by the million x.
- 12:06Speaker 6: That's right.
- 12:07Speaker 3: That's the part that most people have, you know, haven't
- 12:10Speaker 3: completely internalized. This is that industry we were talking about book,
- 12:14Speaker 3: This is the industrial revolution.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:18Speaker 1: What Jensen is talking about there is a huge statement
- 12:22Speaker 1: because he's talking about for us to grow at the
- 12:24Speaker 1: pace in which we would need to to perform AI
- 12:27Speaker 1: at the scale in which he think it's going. He
- 12:29Speaker 1: thinks it's going to go. And I would say that
- 12:31Speaker 1: Nvidia is the world's expert on where this potentially can go.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Decentralized compute is going to be the number one area
- 12:38Speaker 1: federated learning, that kind of capacity, which is what he's
- 12:42Speaker 1: talking about with AI that is where Render falls smack
- 12:45Speaker 1: dab in the middle. So a big deal going into
- 12:49Speaker 1: where rendered. So just take a look at Render versus
- 12:51Speaker 1: Bitcoin and the trend line that we're starting to see.
- 12:54Speaker 1: These are these big swooping up signals that we're looking
- 12:58Speaker 1: at right now, and it's still not completely out there
- 13:01Speaker 1: and too where people are truly understanding what Render's capacity
- 13:04Speaker 1: could be. If you look at the trend line on
- 13:07Speaker 1: the forecast between now and say, you know, the next
- 13:10Speaker 1: two to three years, these are the kind of upward
- 13:13Speaker 1: trends that we're talking about with Render. And if you
- 13:16Speaker 1: look at consideration of comparison of where the market cap
- 13:20Speaker 1: could go if it was at the value of just bitcoin,
- 13:23Speaker 1: you know, this is what you'd see right there, almost
- 13:25Speaker 1: a six seven hundred x return. Not saying that's going
- 13:28Speaker 1: to happen, but I'm getting at is you're looking at
- 13:31Speaker 1: the technology that most likely will catapult mankind to the
- 13:36Speaker 1: next level, being AI, and if you're going to have
- 13:39Speaker 1: companies that are going to be involved in that, well,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you've got Nvidia a handful of the top five tech companies,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and then who are the outliers, Render being one of them.
- 13:48Speaker 1: So this could be a huge opportunity. Look at the
- 13:51Speaker 1: market cap right now, sitting at three point three billion
- 13:54Speaker 1: volume one point seven one point one seven billion right now,
- 13:57Speaker 1: just in the last twenty four hours, up one hundred
- 13:59Speaker 1: and sixteen percent. Look the volume of the market caap
- 14:02Speaker 1: overall in twenty four hours. These kind of moves right
- 14:05Speaker 1: here are significant most of the time. This is just
- 14:08Speaker 1: easy with a five percent of this is still pretty impressive. Also,
- 14:12Speaker 1: just look at the general tokenomics here, very very effective
- 14:16Speaker 1: in terms of fully diluted tokenomics, so again very positive things.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Remember that Solana is one fourth of where ethereum is.
- 14:24Speaker 1: And if you look at Solana just continuing to climb,
- 14:27Speaker 1: well the likelihood let me kind of zoom in on
- 14:28Speaker 1: that for you right there, one hundred and three versus
- 14:31Speaker 1: four hundred and if it continues, well, it's going to
- 14:34Speaker 1: continue to climb. So I think obviously Render just wins
- 14:37Speaker 1: because of that. So a lot happening out there, guys.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Take a look at the current chart right now over
- 14:43Speaker 1: just since the beginning of November. Render is what are
- 14:47Speaker 1: we at right here, almost fifty three percent, so not
- 14:52Speaker 1: a bad move. But remember this is way off of
- 14:54Speaker 1: where it's all time high was quite some time ago.
- 14:58Speaker 1: So take a look at the markets. I think this
- 15:00Speaker 1: is going to get to be one that we have
- 15:02Speaker 1: to keep a very close eye on. All right, If
- 15:04Speaker 1: you guys are not part of the Diamond Circle, maketure
- 15:06Speaker 1: and get in right now. It's a great place to
- 15:08Speaker 1: get additional content. If you want to follow me, make
- 15:10Speaker 1: sure and do it out there on X at Paul Baron.
- 15:13Speaker 1: We'll catch you next time right here on tech Path
- 15:16Speaker 1: than
