- 0:01Speaker 1: A small show, a smallsy show. Hi, this is John Edwards.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Just crossover with me. Well for the very first time
- 0:12Speaker 1: here on the brand new show. Indeed, John Edward is
- 0:16Speaker 1: in the building. Everybody, Hey, welcome to it. Man, welcome
- 0:20Speaker 1: to Welcome to my new home.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I love it. I inkling it was coming you did.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I do have to take the curtain back a little
- 0:27Speaker 1: bit the last time I saw you. You did see
- 0:29Speaker 1: this in the future. Is everything coming to plans?
- 0:34Speaker 2: So far everything's coming to plan.
- 0:35Speaker 1: So I love to hear that. Anything else you can
- 0:37Speaker 1: give me while you hear, I always love a cheeky
- 0:39Speaker 1: little personal read before we start. Well, welcome back to Australia.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's great to see you.
- 0:48Speaker 2: It is good to be in my soul home. I
- 0:50Speaker 2: like being here.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You like being here. A lot has happened since I
- 0:53Speaker 1: saw you last. You're doing the iHeart Live for us tomorrow,
- 0:55Speaker 1: which we're very excited about. But you're also got the
- 0:58Speaker 1: new book out too, I do.
- 0:59Speaker 2: It's a book called Chasing Evil and it's the true
- 1:01Speaker 2: story of me helping an FBI agent on his cases
- 1:05Speaker 2: for the last like twenty five years.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So tell me how that happens in the sense of
- 1:11Speaker 1: when the FBI, you're like the FBI agent says, hey,
- 1:14Speaker 1: I've got like a I guess a cold case or
- 1:15Speaker 1: an unsolved crime. What do you tappen into?
- 1:19Speaker 2: So you know how like weird we're doing this. Yeah,
- 1:21Speaker 2: I've been doing radio forever. So he heard me on
- 1:23Speaker 2: the radio twenty five years ago, right, taking calls, answering questions. Yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 2: he didn't like that. He didn't like you doing that. No, no,
- 1:31Speaker 2: did not like that. Okay, not a believer in the
- 1:33Speaker 2: subject matter. Okay, heard me again once or twice on
- 1:36Speaker 2: the radio. Okay, then took it upon himself as a
- 1:38Speaker 2: side gig, like I'm going to take this guy down.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Oh, he was trying to like discredit you.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah. So he brought me a real case. Yeah, I
- 1:46Speaker 2: brought me a real cold case. He brought real evidence. Yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But he also went around to women in the office
- 1:51Speaker 2: and said, you know, can I have your watch? Can
- 1:54Speaker 2: I have your lipstick? Can I have your whatever? Right,
- 1:55Speaker 2: and threw that into the evidence bag as well.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Oh, to try and like you, I give you a
- 2:00Speaker 1: couple of red herrings and laid.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It all out in front of me. Yeah, and then
- 2:04Speaker 2: I was able to discern the difference I was like,
- 2:06Speaker 2: I don't know what this is. It's not part of
- 2:07Speaker 2: your case. Long story short, During the course of helping
- 2:10Speaker 2: him on that specific case, I wound up reading for
- 2:12Speaker 2: him and information came through about his family that he
- 2:16Speaker 2: did not know. Okay, so he had to go to
- 2:18Speaker 2: his parents. And when he went to his parents, they
- 2:20Speaker 2: had an emotional reaction to what came through, and that
- 2:24Speaker 2: made him shift his perspective because he's a logical, analytical,
- 2:28Speaker 2: investigative personality who's like, there's no way possible this guy
- 2:30Speaker 2: would know this. Yeah, So that fostered more of a
- 2:34Speaker 2: conversation with him with me, and he said, can you
- 2:38Speaker 2: use your ability to try to help me on some
- 2:39Speaker 2: of my stuff?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Wow? I can try without giving to me spoil as
- 2:43Speaker 1: a way, do you crack some cases?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Bob cracked a lot of cases? Okay, Yeah, with your help,
- 2:48Speaker 2: Bob cracked a lot of cases. And it's it's really
- 2:50Speaker 2: it's if you like true crime and you like Irri,
- 2:54Speaker 2: you're gonna love Chasing Evil. Seriously. Chasing Evil is going
- 2:57Speaker 2: to be the book for people to read.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Wherever you get your books. See, y yep, yep. You're
- 3:01Speaker 1: also you're gonna be here I'm gonna do a quick
- 3:03Speaker 1: plug because I've saw you live was it twenty food?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Last two? I saw you last tour. If I can
- 3:12Speaker 1: tell people, I have never been more blown away in
- 3:15Speaker 1: my entire life watching someone connect with people who've passed over.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Wow, thank you. No, what I mean?
- 3:21Speaker 1: People need to John Edward dot net is where you
- 3:24Speaker 1: can get your tickets from. You're gonna be playing shows
- 3:26Speaker 1: literally up and down the country. I don't think that's
- 3:28Speaker 1: the town you're not going to.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I care.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Wait, but now that we have you here, do you
- 3:33Speaker 1: mind if we do some goals?
- 3:34Speaker 2: No, let's do it.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Thirteen one oh six five is the number I think
- 3:38Speaker 1: we've got. Claire here, say hello to John.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Hi, Hi Claire, thank you for having me.
- 3:43Speaker 2: How can I help you? Claire? What's your question?
- 3:45Speaker 3: I would love to connect with my brother or my mother.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Okay, Claire. The first I'm going to tell you that
- 3:50Speaker 2: I may not be able to directly connect with them specifically,
- 3:53Speaker 2: but if you keep your mind open to anything that's
- 3:55Speaker 2: coming through, I'll pass that on to you. Claire. Is
- 3:57Speaker 2: there like a reference to somebody being a twin or
- 4:00Speaker 2: having twins in the family, Because I'm seeing the sign
- 4:02Speaker 2: of Gemini, And when I see the sign of Gemini
- 4:05Speaker 2: makes me think twins unlessbody actually is a Gemini.
- 4:07Speaker 3: There's no twins in the family, but my daughter and
- 4:11Speaker 3: her cousin are often mistaken both for twins. And her
- 4:14Speaker 3: cousin is my brother's little boy.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Got it, So they would be kind of being raised
- 4:19Speaker 2: together or they're kind of connected on the same level. Yes, absolutely,
- 4:23Speaker 2: And then Claire, is dad still living? Is your biological
- 4:26Speaker 2: dad still living?
- 4:28Speaker 3: No?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Okay, So that's the first place I need to start,
- 4:30Speaker 2: because I'm getting the feeling of dad. So I want
- 4:32Speaker 2: to acknowledge that there's a biological dad. Now, I know
- 4:35Speaker 2: that whenever I use the word biological in a reading,
- 4:37Speaker 2: that there's another energy that acts like a father figure.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Or you've had somebody else that I would see as
- 4:42Speaker 2: being like that, whether it be an uncle or a grandfather. Okay,
- 4:45Speaker 2: so I know that there's another or stepdad, but there's
- 4:47Speaker 2: another dad energy, Claire. Did your brother pass by his
- 4:49Speaker 2: own birthday or did he pass by a.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Holiday not long after my birthday?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Okay? Because I'm seeing my symbol that would make me
- 4:55Speaker 2: feel like we want you to celebrate the date. We
- 4:57Speaker 2: want you to celebrate the holiday, and then who had
- 4:59Speaker 2: the quick and sudden passing when they were in and out?
- 5:01Speaker 2: One two three, one two three my brother. Okay, so
- 5:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you if your brother and your dad
- 5:06Speaker 2: of the same like family, they're coming in together. I
- 5:09Speaker 2: know that there's something about the twelfth month, December or
- 5:12Speaker 2: the twelfth of a month that they want me to highlight.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And then is there some type of reference in front
- 5:16Speaker 2: of you if you look straight ahead from wherever you
- 5:18Speaker 2: are to the right, like, is there something where you
- 5:21Speaker 2: are in your house like that's of them?
- 5:24Speaker 3: Yes, there's a lot of his things.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Yes, okay. And did you recently not recently in the
- 5:29Speaker 2: last few weeks, were you basically saying like I need
- 5:32Speaker 2: to go through some of this stuff to see what
- 5:34Speaker 2: I want to keep and what I want to alleviate. Yeah, okay,
- 5:37Speaker 2: So I feel like there's something there that's got a
- 5:40Speaker 2: memorabilia kind of a feeling, so like something that you
- 5:43Speaker 2: have a very sentimental value to, not a financial value.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Here's the thing that they feel about, like stuff whatever
- 5:50Speaker 2: you don't want to keep or can't keep because it's
- 5:52Speaker 2: taking up space. I always tell people take photos of
- 5:55Speaker 2: it because it still has the symbolic representation of what
- 5:57Speaker 2: it means for you if it's keeping up that space.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And then I know that there's a I don't know
- 6:03Speaker 2: if somebody had like a narcotic isssue. Does somebody have
- 6:05Speaker 2: a reaction to medication? Yeah, okay, some feeling there's like
- 6:10Speaker 2: a medication like reaction. Just know that this would be
- 6:14Speaker 2: their their way of coming in coming in. I don't
- 6:16Speaker 2: want you to feel alone, though, So the ultimate feeling
- 6:18Speaker 2: that I'm having is that you feel like you're alone
- 6:20Speaker 2: in your family, and they don't want you to feel
- 6:22Speaker 2: like you're alone.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Oh, you're gonna make you cry.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Thank you, Claire to thank you,
- 6:28Speaker 1: appreciate you cool, thank you thirty and one oh sixty five. Wow,
- 6:31Speaker 1: when you know how you're talking about the memorabilia, right,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and they know, like do they know do people when
- 6:36Speaker 1: they pass over? Did spirit care if you like, just like,
- 6:41Speaker 1: do us like a funeral or do the ashes do
- 6:44Speaker 1: they do? They get caught up in those types of things.
- 6:47Speaker 2: They don't have the ego, they don't have the human
- 6:49Speaker 2: ego of caring about that, okay, but they do care
- 6:51Speaker 2: about what we care about. So whatever it is, it's
- 6:54Speaker 2: going to help us navigate our grief and loss. Yes,
- 6:57Speaker 2: they care about that.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Okay, wow, that's really I had.
- 7:00Speaker 2: A funny, funny moment where somebody had they were cremated. Yeah,
- 7:06Speaker 2: and there was a family battle over the ashes. There
- 7:09Speaker 2: was like literally like a custody battle going over the ashes,
- 7:12Speaker 2: over the ashes.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Nothing surprised me when it comes to, you know, taking
- 7:15Speaker 1: things after someone passes away. Okay, would you like to
- 7:18Speaker 1: take some more calls?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh, before we do that, I want to ask you
- 7:21Speaker 1: actually a question I have. I have a beautiful dog,
- 7:24Speaker 1: as you know. I wanted to know about people. When
- 7:27Speaker 1: you pick a pet, or you get a new dog
- 7:28Speaker 1: or a cat, and you feel like you're connected to
- 7:31Speaker 1: your animal, the dogs or pets, are they ever spirit form?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Have they ever been people? Or are pets always in
- 7:38Speaker 1: pet form?
- 7:39Speaker 2: I don't think that pets are a people. I don't
- 7:42Speaker 2: think that. I don't think we reincarnate, you know, from
- 7:44Speaker 2: pets two people people two pets. Yep. But I know
- 7:47Speaker 2: that we've had we could have, yes, a relationship with
- 7:50Speaker 2: a pet where that pet comes back, So.
- 7:52Speaker 1: We could have in a past life maybe have had
- 7:54Speaker 1: a pet.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Or even in this lifetime. If you've lost a pet.
- 7:57Speaker 2: That pet can be reincarnated and may find you again.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Wow. Okay, let's do another call. Leslie's on the line.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Hello, Hello, how are you?
- 8:06Speaker 2: We're good?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Johnny's here?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Say hello, Hi, Leslie?
- 8:09Speaker 4: Hi, John How are you?
- 8:10Speaker 2: I am good? How can I help you today?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Look?
- 8:13Speaker 4: I would like to, if possible, reach my father, who
- 8:17Speaker 4: passed quite some time ago. However, prior to he's passing,
- 8:22Speaker 4: I hadn't had any form of contact with him until
- 8:27Speaker 4: three days prior to in the leading.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Okay, So I'm going to tell you that I don't
- 8:33Speaker 2: know if I can connect with your dad, but I'm
- 8:35Speaker 2: going to tell you what I'm just feeling around you,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and you tell me where this goes. Okay, sure, Okay,
- 8:40Speaker 2: the month of April is being shown to me. So
- 8:42Speaker 2: either birthday or anniversary for someone in April is what's
- 8:46Speaker 2: being shown to me. First, where's the April connection for you?
- 8:49Speaker 3: April is my father's birthday?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Okay? And then did somebody in his family kind of
- 8:56Speaker 2: like step forward or step up in some way for
- 9:00Speaker 2: you guys in his absence or if you didn't feel
- 9:04Speaker 2: him around for a bit, was there other aspects or
- 9:06Speaker 2: connections to the family.
- 9:07Speaker 3: No, not necessarily no.
- 9:09Speaker 2: So who's who's the bob or who's the B name?
- 9:12Speaker 2: For you? Yeah? The B name like as in like
- 9:15Speaker 2: Barbara or Bob. Who's the B name? Who are you
- 9:18Speaker 2: connected to that's the B name? Like my mother? Oh?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Just her? Yeah, okay. So the reason why that's important
- 9:26Speaker 2: is I don't know you, So for me to trust
- 9:28Speaker 2: what I'm seeing and feeling, I have to have like
- 9:30Speaker 2: a place to anchor myself. So I'm going to tell
- 9:32Speaker 2: you that if your mom is still living, right, somebody
- 9:35Speaker 2: in her family had to step in as the quote
- 9:38Speaker 2: unquote maybe uncle or stepdad or be some other kind
- 9:42Speaker 2: of just energy that that's there. To answer your question
- 9:45Speaker 2: though about your dad, there's a level of healing that
- 9:48Speaker 2: can take place if you give yourself permission, meaning if
- 9:52Speaker 2: you recognize that your dad is not the same energy
- 9:55Speaker 2: that he was when he was here that would have
- 9:58Speaker 2: caused the split in your family or in that dynamic,
- 10:02Speaker 2: then you can allow him back into your life. And
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you from personal experience I had. I
- 10:06Speaker 2: had a tumultuous relationship with my dad. I was no
- 10:08Speaker 2: contact with him. I essentially found out he had passed.
- 10:12Speaker 2: But the moment I found out he passed. I welcomed
- 10:15Speaker 2: him back in because I recognized he was no longer
- 10:17Speaker 2: the energy that could hurt me in the way that
- 10:20Speaker 2: he could have in life. That doesn't mean that I
- 10:22Speaker 2: changed the past. It doesn't mean that I rewrite the past,
- 10:24Speaker 2: because the past makes us who we are today in
- 10:26Speaker 2: the in our present. But I did let him in
- 10:29Speaker 2: because he's not that energy any longer. So I think
- 10:32Speaker 2: that you can actually heal your relationship with your dad
- 10:34Speaker 2: if you give yourself permission to do that, and maybe
- 10:37Speaker 2: energetically he can send you a sign or symbol to
- 10:39Speaker 2: let you know that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, appreciate thanks to Vannicola. I've got
- 10:43Speaker 1: a question for you. Sure, are we all a little
- 10:45Speaker 1: bit zchic?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yes?
- 10:47Speaker 1: How do we tap into that?
- 10:48Speaker 2: I think everybody can tap into it. It can tap
- 10:50Speaker 2: in differently.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You know.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I used to teach workshops on how to develop intuition,
- 10:54Speaker 2: and I stopped doing that because people wanted to do
- 10:57Speaker 2: it as a career and they wanted to be like
- 10:59Speaker 2: I was trained to budge on it. Oh yeah, no,
- 11:01Speaker 2: that's bade good yet on the evolve plus app Yes,
- 11:04Speaker 2: have the entire course that I taught Okay, So it's
- 11:08Speaker 2: all on Evolve plus TV, so people go to a
- 11:09Speaker 2: Evolve plus dot TV. Yep, there's a whole intuitive workshop.
- 11:12Speaker 2: It's broken up into eight separate virtual classes. Okay, and
- 11:16Speaker 2: it's called Project You.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Does that mean you're like trusting your gut that sort
- 11:19Speaker 1: of thing.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Trusting your gut when you meet a person and you're like,
- 11:22Speaker 2: this is not feeling right, paying attention.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the I was having this conversation and
- 11:27Speaker 1: someone had said something and I was like, oh, I
- 11:29Speaker 1: don't know what they were like, their energy was a
- 11:30Speaker 1: bit off. And someone looked at me like I was
- 11:32Speaker 1: talking crazy talk and they're like, what do you mean there?
- 11:35Speaker 1: And I don't know how to describe it. But when
- 11:37Speaker 1: I sometimes meet people, I can tell straight away. I'm like, oh,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I don't know if they like me or their energy
- 11:45Speaker 1: is not quite right.
- 11:46Speaker 2: They keep be having a bad day, but you're picking
- 11:48Speaker 2: up on it. Yeah, And I can't tell you. There's
- 11:50Speaker 2: been over the last four decades of me doing this, Yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 2: a number of times where I've met a person and
- 11:56Speaker 2: I was like, oh, I have that reaction, yeah, and
- 11:59Speaker 2: then I like meet them and there are a different
- 12:02Speaker 2: set of circumstances. Okay, and I'm like, oh, maybe I
- 12:05Speaker 2: was wrong about that. Yeah, I might have missed judged. Nope, nope,
- 12:10Speaker 2: it's just they mastered it better.
- 12:11Speaker 1: The second without putting words into your mouth. What I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: sort of hearing here is sort of trust your first
- 12:18Speaker 1: instincts when it comes to people.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Or pay attention to how someone makes you feel.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Another way of looking at it is if, yeah, you
- 12:26Speaker 2: have a pet and that pet doesn't react to a
- 12:28Speaker 2: person in a in a certain way. Yeah, question why?
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah. I think there's a funny internet meme which
- 12:35Speaker 1: is like, I don't know. I'm not a good judge
- 12:37Speaker 1: of character, but I trust my dogs.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Let's judge.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, if my dog doesn't like you, there's something wrong.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yep.
- 12:43Speaker 1: You're gonna be here in October through December doing your
- 12:46Speaker 1: live shows. John Edward dot net. Always wonderful to see you.
