- 0:15SPEAKER_09: So this is one of those shows wherein yesterday I had I had a show all ready to go.
- 0:24SPEAKER_09: I always do a version, you know, 1.0 of the show before I head off to uh to bed, and that completely unraveled before my eyes in the wake of the breaking news yesterday.
- 0:35SPEAKER_09: And we actually have three pretty big stories that we're going to be following on the uh show today, a few of which we will get the uh opinion of Representative Tom Emmer.
- 0:45SPEAKER_09: He will be joining us this morning here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experimenta at 8:30 uh today.
- 0:52SPEAKER_09: So we've got the national news leading uh shooting that took place in downtown Minneapolis yesterday, leaving three dead, including the shooter.
- 1:02SPEAKER_09: Uh three officers were injured, and three civilians were also wounded in uh that um event.
- 1:11SPEAKER_09: So we'll get dive into details of that now.
- 1:13SPEAKER_09: We'll talk about it further coming up at uh seven o'clock this morning.
- 1:17SPEAKER_09: Of course, we'll get your thoughts all morning long.
- 1:19SPEAKER_09: Uh, we will also get into, we have not talked about this on the show today.
- 1:23SPEAKER_09: I've kind of been waiting, but we are gonna dive into in the first hour um the Lindsay Clancy trial uh and the fact that the jury cannot reach a verdict.
- 1:35SPEAKER_09: The the scuttle on this, uh, this woman that murdered her three kids because that's what she did, uh, that's not a secret.
- 1:42SPEAKER_09: She admitted it, despite all the lunatic uh women out there that believe otherwise, and we're gonna dive into all of that.
- 1:48SPEAKER_09: Um, the uh the word is that there may be two lone female holdouts on the jury uh that do not want to convict um uh Lindsay Clancy.
- 1:59SPEAKER_09: So we're gonna dive into that again, uh, this hour.
- 2:02SPEAKER_09: Uh and the other story, which you probably haven't heard, which is rather interesting, I'm curious to see if this ends up grabbing attention today because it's a big deal.
- 2:12SPEAKER_09: Um, but the Trump administration moved forward uh forcing all state agencies to have to report to DHS any illegal aliens that they are aware of at the state level or risk losing federal funding.
- 2:33SPEAKER_09: This is a this is a very significant move by the Trump administration that we will provide details on.
- 2:39SPEAKER_09: Uh, friend of the show and uh lawyer James Dickey has uh comments on that that I'll be sharing with you later on as we dive into uh into that news.
- 2:49SPEAKER_09: Uh there's also another story that we'll spend some time on uh from uh Alpha News, where Liz Collin had a chance to go and uh interview once again um attorney Chris Maddle, uh saying that the prosecutors have been ignoring the law in charging the police officers in the um that were associated with Derek Chauvin and the death of George Floyd.
- 3:10SPEAKER_09: So it's another story that we're gonna get into.
- 3:11SPEAKER_09: But the three big ones, again, the national news leading shooting that took place yesterday, um, which was really interesting in terms of the coverage.
- 3:17SPEAKER_09: It's a part of it, part of that that I want to talk about as we open the the show today, and the the Lindsay uh Clancy uh trial that we'll talk about this hour.
- 3:26SPEAKER_09: And and I I've waited to discuss this because I was kind of waiting for the jury to come in, but the commentary around that trial, um it it's it's gotten too controversial to ignore at this point in time, with the number of women that are out there defending Lindsay Clancy and what this means, stepping back in terms of how society is viewing these issues, uh, the connection to abortion, which not a lot of people are talking about, but I'll be diving into uh this hour because I believe there's a direct correlation between the women that are out there defending Lindsay Clancy, either saying that she didn't do it or saying that her hormones were running amok in her postpartum depression and therefore she shouldn't be held um responsible.
- 4:13SPEAKER_09: Which are both very interesting arguments, in as much if you follow the logic of both of those, it will take you down a path that I am 99.9% sure that the majority of women defending Lindsey Clancy would not end up agreeing with, even though it would show by their own admission that this would be the case regarding abortion, regarding hormones, talking about nuclear family, the importance of men in relationships, and most specifically the very specific differences between men and women that is being highlighted in the midst of all of this.
- 4:49SPEAKER_09: So far, I don't see any trans women, biological men that are out there defending Lindsay Clancy, because I would imagine that because they're still men, they're going to end up having the same mentality as men, and that is this mother went and murdered her children.
- 5:04SPEAKER_09: I don't care if she was dealing with hormonal issues.
- 5:07SPEAKER_09: All right, so lots to dive into on the show today.
- 5:10SPEAKER_09: You can let your voice be heard via text message or a audio message.
- 5:16SPEAKER_09: On our brand new Blaster line, drop us a blast via voice or text message to 651-964-0294.
- 5:26SPEAKER_09: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 5:29SPEAKER_09: And if you didn't get that and you have the old number locked into your phone, you can still call the old number and it will send you to the new number, but that is the new number where you can go and leave us a um leave us a comment.
- 5:39SPEAKER_09: All right, let's start here.
- 5:40SPEAKER_09: A shooting at Loring Towers in downtown Minneapolis did result in three deaths, including the shooter, two civilians, and injuries to the three officers and three civilians.
- 5:49SPEAKER_09: I'm working off a version of the story from Fox 9.
- 5:51SPEAKER_09: The suspect, Carlton Johnson II, was known to police, and the motive is under investigation.
- 5:58SPEAKER_09: The incident prompted a large response from local law enforcement agencies and on the FBI as well, and drew reactions from local leaders.
- 6:06SPEAKER_09: So this is a huge story.
- 6:09SPEAKER_09: Don't misunderstand.
- 6:10SPEAKER_09: I want to make sure that I that I use my words appropriately here.
- 6:13SPEAKER_09: Uh, this is a huge story.
- 6:15SPEAKER_09: Uh, this was gaining national attention yesterday.
- 6:18SPEAKER_09: I mean, the the story erupted.
- 6:20SPEAKER_09: I was a little surprised at this at the onset because it seemed as if this might have just been a domestic event.
- 6:26SPEAKER_09: I understand the inclusion of police officers in this raises the profile of this, obviously, the concern of this.
- 6:34SPEAKER_09: There's a there's a sidebar story.
- 6:36SPEAKER_09: I'm not going to get into this later on, but I'll mention it now.
- 6:39SPEAKER_09: There was an officer on the way to the scene that ended up getting in like this horrific car crash.
- 6:45SPEAKER_09: It's like a completely separate story, not nearly as severe as the shooting in and of itself.
- 6:50SPEAKER_09: But there was uh a law enforcement, a Minneapolis police officer that was heading to the event and got rear-ended.
- 6:55SPEAKER_09: I mean, the whole back of the car just got almost like sheared off.
- 6:58SPEAKER_09: It was it was just in insane.
- 7:01SPEAKER_09: Um now, whether or not this was reckless driving on the uh on the part of a civilian, it hit the officer, or the officer was in route and was heading there, you know, in a fast manner, and that ended up being a part of this.
- 7:15SPEAKER_09: I I don't know, but it's just another aspect of what took place uh yesterday.
- 7:19SPEAKER_09: Uh, but I was a little bit surprised.
- 7:21SPEAKER_09: I mean, this seemed like an isolated shooting in one, you know, in one particular, you know, apartment complex.
- 7:27SPEAKER_09: And I was, again, a little taken aback by the amount of coverages this was receiving.
- 7:32SPEAKER_09: Um now, in hindsight, I understand a little bit better because the initial reporting on the story was that this might have been something involving multiple individuals who might have been doing a mass shooting spree.
- 7:51SPEAKER_09: It doesn't necessarily seem like that's the case.
- 7:53SPEAKER_09: This individual, the shooter, uh, was apparently in the process of being evicted.
- 8:00SPEAKER_09: Now, that being said, the media is quick to point out that he was in the process of being evicted.
- 8:04SPEAKER_09: There are plenty of individuals out there that ridiculously are saying that this is some sort of defense as to why he acted the way that he did, murdering individuals.
- 8:12SPEAKER_09: What the media is ignoring is the fact that this dude was only paying$105 in rent.
- 8:18SPEAKER_09: You were paying the rest of this dude's rent.
- 8:21SPEAKER_09: And he was being evicted.
- 8:24SPEAKER_09: Even only having to pay$105 a month in rent.
- 8:30SPEAKER_09: You know, and there are other aspects too that I think raise the profile of this of this story.
- 8:34SPEAKER_09: Again, law enforcement being involved, the initial reporting, this is might have been multiple gunmen, what law enforcement had to end up facing in the midst of all of this.
- 8:45SPEAKER_09: And I'm gonna share with you the initial press conference from whom I believe is the interim acting Minneapolis police chief, Sergeant Parton, I think is his name.
- 8:54SPEAKER_09: Uh I'm gonna share with you his comments in um in just a in just a moment.
- 8:59SPEAKER_09: But you also have this being an election year.
- 9:02SPEAKER_09: You had all of the, you know, all of the Democrat politicians were out immediately addressing this particular issue.
- 9:10SPEAKER_09: Thought it was it was curious too, because there was um there was a lot of a lot of coverage over Amy Klobuchar's comments, which had me chuckling a little bit because I know she's a senator, I get that, but the reason why they were putting in the Amy Klobuchar comments is because the media's pretty much in the tank for the DFL, as we talked about a lot.
- 9:32SPEAKER_09: And they, you know, she's running for governor.
- 9:35SPEAKER_09: I'm sure the excuse was she's a senator and she was commenting, but make no mistake, she was getting further coverage over her comments over what took place yesterday because of the fact that she's running for for governor.
- 9:46SPEAKER_09: So as your comments roll into the blaster line at 651-964-0294, you can also email john.justice at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 9:55SPEAKER_09: And I want to set the stage here a bit when it comes to the commentary and the stories that we're covering, because we do have these multiple big stories we'll be talking about.
- 10:04SPEAKER_09: When you leave your comments and your messages, um, make sure you're clear on what you're focusing on and just focus on one of the stories.
- 10:10SPEAKER_09: You don't have to comment on everything because I know there's going to be a lot of overlap between this story, the Lindsey Clancy trial, and then later on, when we end up diving into the Trump administration now forcing states to turn over any documents relating to known illegal aliens in their state to DHS.
- 10:29SPEAKER_09: There's going to be a lot of overlap in the commentary.
- 10:32SPEAKER_09: So if you can please just stick to one topic as we move through these various issues today.
- 10:37SPEAKER_09: So while your comments roll in, let me share with you some of the initial uh statements that were made at the press conference shortly after this shooting in downtown Minneapolis took place from the acting Minneapolis police chief.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Officers followed the sound of gunfire to the upper floor of the building, and on that floor, officers encountered a haze that significantly limited their visibility.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Three officers were injured, two of those by gunfire.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: The suspected shooter is deceased, and at this time it is unknown how he died.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: Four additional people with apparent gunshot wounds were transported to Hennepin Healthcare HCMC.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: One of those individuals died at the hospital.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: There was one additional individual who died at the scene.
- 11:30SPEAKER_02: So, in summary, there were four people transported, one died.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: There is one person who died at the scene, and the suspected shooter is also deceased at the scene.
- 11:44SPEAKER_28: Good morning, John Rich here.
- 11:46SPEAKER_28: So this individual that did sh did the shooting, killing three people, wounding several others, and police officers.
- 11:53SPEAKER_28: I wonder what his criminal background looks like, where he's probably been released, and if it comes back to Mary Moriarty's office, that's ready multiple times.
- 12:05SPEAKER_28: Because there should be some public accountability if this guy's had contact with the police on previous occasions.
- 12:12SPEAKER_28: Thanks.
- 12:12SPEAKER_09: I have not seen any um information regarding uh this individual's uh background.
- 12:20SPEAKER_09: I do have further uh commentary and coverage from uh Crime Watch Minneapolis that we'll get into uh next hour.
- 12:29SPEAKER_09: He has a, or they have, I should say.
- 12:32SPEAKER_09: Um they have a a rather they have a thread of posts regarding what had transpired.
- 12:38SPEAKER_09: The court filings indicate that Carlton Johnson has made, had made concerning gun threats to security and others, flashed a gun from his waistband on multiple occasions.
- 12:49SPEAKER_09: Okay, and Rich, to your point, he does have a prior drug and domestic, a history of prior drug and domestic arrest.
- 12:55SPEAKER_09: So getting to your point, and I had to dig into my stack to get the details on that, you are corrected that the individual does have or did have a uh a criminal a criminal background.
- 13:04SPEAKER_40: Yeah, he used to work for the Minneapolis Spark Board back in uh the mid-90s, and of course the neighborhood there is really saturated with the LGBQ community.
- 13:16SPEAKER_40: And I just wonder what the chances are of him being another There's zero.
- 13:20SPEAKER_09: Uh this is a uh this is a uh a black man who was living in the apartment again was being um was being evicted at the time, which people are using as an excuse uh for his actions.
- 13:32SPEAKER_09: So there's nothing to point to this being uh anything regarding the the LGBTQ community.
- 13:38SPEAKER_09: We still don't know the we don't know the motive uh yet.
- 13:41SPEAKER_09: So as we get further details, and if we get further details uh on the show, we'll certainly go and uh and share those uh share those with you uh throughout the morning uh this morning.
- 13:51SPEAKER_09: Let me give you some details though.
- 13:53SPEAKER_09: Uh Minneapolis Police Department did respond to a report of the shooting.
- 13:56SPEAKER_09: 4 36 p.m.
- 13:57SPEAKER_09: at Loring Towers, a high rise at 15 East of Grand Street in downtown Minneapolis.
- 14:02SPEAKER_09: Officers got to the scene in less than two minutes, and when they arrived, they encountered multiple victims, heard additional gunfire.
- 14:08SPEAKER_09: Police say that officers followed the sound of the gunfire to the upper floor building and encountered haze that was significantly limiting their visibility.
- 14:16SPEAKER_09: The officers then exchanged gunfire with the suspect, and that's where the three officers were injured, two by gunfire.
- 14:22SPEAKER_09: One officer was shot twice in the stomach, another in the leg.
- 14:26SPEAKER_09: A third officer was being evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries.
- 14:30SPEAKER_09: And I believe that the uh officer that got shot in the stomach ended up immediately going into uh into surgery.
- 14:36SPEAKER_09: Um four victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, one pronounced dead.
- 14:41SPEAKER_09: Police say one person died at the scene, as well as the suspected shooter.
- 14:45SPEAKER_09: Authorities have not clarified yet how the sub how the uh suspect died.
- 14:50SPEAKER_09: A total of nine people were involved in the shooting.
- 14:53SPEAKER_09: Six were injured, including the three police officers.
- 14:57SPEAKER_09: And next hour we'll talk about John Phelan has a um has a piece up at AmericanExperiment.org um talking about how, you know, this is uh you know, this is a pattern.
- 15:09SPEAKER_09: The mass shooting in Minneapolis shows how wrong Ellison was to back abolishing MPD back in 2021.
- 15:19SPEAKER_09: Because of the background of this individual, by the way, uh the story's gonna fall by the wayside.
- 15:24SPEAKER_09: And I'm not even saying that there should be further coverage on this.
- 15:27SPEAKER_09: This seems like an individual who was disturbed may have been upset because he was being evicted.
- 15:31SPEAKER_09: Sounds like it was it was personal, wasn't some sort of terrorist attack, obviously.
- 15:36SPEAKER_09: But because the individual is black, because the individual was being evicted, I could maybe see the story surviving a little bit longer because of the angle that those on the left will mention regarding him being evicted.
- 15:53SPEAKER_09: But again, you get into the details of it, and he was only paying$105 a month in rent, you can hardly make an argument that it was unfair that this dude was being evicted if he couldn't even pay a paltry, you know,$100 a month in rent.
- 16:09SPEAKER_09: Now, if this had been a white individual, a white male involved in this, this story would have a completely different life cycle.
- 16:18SPEAKER_09: But because the individual is black, it doesn't fit the narratives that the left's left typically uses when it comes to pushing for gun control issues, defunding the police, things of this nature.
- 16:32SPEAKER_09: No, I think the story is probably gonna fall by the wayside, more than likely after after today.
- 16:38SPEAKER_09: So we'll get into more details coming up at uh seven o'clock this morning.
- 16:41SPEAKER_09: Again, if you would like to comment on this or any of the stories that we are uh talking about this morning, the blaster line is 651-964-0294.
- 16:51SPEAKER_33: Good morning, John.
- 16:52SPEAKER_33: The reason this became a national thing was because initially the report was an officer while shooting.
- 17:03SPEAKER_33: We also have to remember that this was a block away from where the last Minneapolis police officer was shot and killed a number of years ago.
- 17:10SPEAKER_33: That's a good point, too.
- 17:11unknown: Yeah.
- 17:12SPEAKER_33: So that's what brought it to the national attention.
- 17:14SPEAKER_33: I just want to say thank you to the Minneapolis Police Department for everything they did and all the assisting agencies.
- 17:20SPEAKER_33: You guys are the greatest.
- 17:22SPEAKER_33: Be safe.
- 17:23SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I echo the listen, I echo those sediments.
- 17:25SPEAKER_09: And I agree, yeah, I agree with your with your thoughts as well as why this was a national news story.
- 17:29SPEAKER_09: And I'm not saying it should have been.
- 17:31SPEAKER_09: I was just when the story broke.
- 17:34SPEAKER_09: Let me let me back up a little bit, because maybe I'm not being maybe I'm not as I as I'm thinking about it, I'm not being clear on this.
- 17:40SPEAKER_09: So when the story broke, it was initially a shooting in the Loring apartments, officers may be involved.
- 17:49SPEAKER_09: It's a big deal, but it's also kind of par for the course.
- 17:53SPEAKER_09: I cover this stuff on a daily basis.
- 17:55SPEAKER_09: I don't even talk about every single shooting that takes place in Minneapolis.
- 17:59SPEAKER_09: There's been multiple shootings, individuals found dead in homes, stabbings.
- 18:02SPEAKER_09: They've been it's been happening like all week.
- 18:05SPEAKER_09: Every other day, if not every day, there is some story of a shooting taking place in Minneapolis or an individual dying in their home or multiple individuals.
- 18:15SPEAKER_09: And usually these are domestic um dispute issues, not anything larger than that, maybe involving gang activity.
- 18:23SPEAKER_09: But to cover it would seem redundant given how much time we spend on the show talking about the situations in Minneapolis under this quasi-communist, wannabe socialist, revolutionary, activist Minneapolis City Council.
- 18:41SPEAKER_09: So I don't cover that as much.
- 18:43SPEAKER_09: So when I saw this story, I was like, okay, there's another shooting, but this one's getting a lot more attention.
- 18:48SPEAKER_09: I wonder what the reason, what the reason is.
- 18:50SPEAKER_09: And I think there was a lot of behind-the-scenes reporting going on with this too, because I was listening to uh I was listening to Tim Poole's podcast from yesterday, and they had were recording their podcast right when the news broke on this story.
- 19:03SPEAKER_09: And Tim Poole was said that he was getting information that it was a group of people that had jumped out of cars and started shooting and heading into the into the apartment complex.
- 19:15SPEAKER_09: That's a completely different dynamic.
- 19:16SPEAKER_09: So I think the situation on the ground was giving off a vibe that this was a more significant event than some sort of dispute with a guy with a gun and rent.
- 19:28SPEAKER_09: Now, that may still be the case.
- 19:29SPEAKER_09: There may be something more here.
- 19:31SPEAKER_09: We're just going off of the details that we that we have so far in the story.
- 19:36SPEAKER_09: But also with it being Minneapolis, and this wasn't mentioned yesterday, but so close to the anniversary of the Annunciation School shooting.
- 19:44SPEAKER_09: Uh, I think it was another reason why this ended up grabbing national news headlines.
- 19:48SPEAKER_09: Uh, somebody had texted into the blaster line.
- 19:51SPEAKER_09: I think it was so big at first because it was still an active shooter situation, and there's a lot of people roaming downtown.
- 19:56SPEAKER_09: That's a really good, um, that's a really good point.
- 19:59SPEAKER_09: Uh, all right.
- 20:00SPEAKER_09: With that, we'll continue to take your thoughts on this if you have any uh comments that you want to share.
- 20:05SPEAKER_09: 651 at 964-0294.
- 20:08SPEAKER_09: I do want to shift our attention over to the uh Lindsay Clancy trial.
- 20:14SPEAKER_09: And again, this is a story that I have not covered on the show yet.
- 20:18SPEAKER_09: I've been waiting to talk about it, but it's reached now this fever pitch as the jury can't seem to reach a verdict, which is just insane to me, considering the fact that the defense for Lindsay Clancy isn't even attempting, they're not even saying that she didn't murder her kids.
- 20:36SPEAKER_09: They're saying that.
- 20:37SPEAKER_09: They're just saying that she shouldn't be held criminally liable because she was going through postpartum depression.
- 20:43SPEAKER_09: Judge William Sullivan yesterday sent home the jury serving on the Lindsey Clancy triple murder case and setting up the six-day deliberations, a sixth day of deliberations today.
- 20:54SPEAKER_09: The jury, made up of nine women and three men, has so far told the judge on two occasions they are deadlocked.
- 21:00SPEAKER_09: Once on Tuesday and then again yesterday.
- 21:03SPEAKER_09: Jurors sent Judge Sullivan a note yesterday saying they were unable to come to a unanimous decision.
- 21:09SPEAKER_09: The judge instructed them to continue deliberating.
- 21:12SPEAKER_09: The next day, the jury sent back a note indicating the same deadlock position.
- 21:15SPEAKER_09: Sullivan then issued a final Tui Rodriguez or dynamite instruction, urging jurors to reconsider their positions and make every effort to reach a unanimous verdict before a mistrial could be declared.
- 21:30SPEAKER_09: Clancy is on trial for the murder of her three children: a five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson, and eight-month-old uh Callan.
- 21:38SPEAKER_09: She's facing the possibility of life in prison without parole if convicted on the most serious charge of first degree murder.
- 21:43SPEAKER_09: Clancy has admitted to killing the young children by strangling them with exercise bands while inside the uh the family's home in Massachusetts.
- 21:52SPEAKER_09: Her defense team is arguing, as I mentioned, that she was suffering from postpartum depression psychosis and is not criminally responsible.
- 21:58SPEAKER_09: And now you have this cult.
- 22:00SPEAKER_09: Following of women that either one don't think that she should be held responsible because she was dealing with postpartum depression, or two, don't even believe that she did it, even though the defense isn't saying otherwise, and neither is Lindsey Clancy.
- 22:15SPEAKER_09: So I have a lot more to say regarding uh this story, and I also want to hear from you, whether it's regarding this trial, whether it's regarding the shooting yesterday, or the other big story that we'll get into uh later on today of states having to turn over any documentation they have of illegal aliens to uh DHS.
- 22:35SPEAKER_09: Again, the blaster line is 651-964-0294.
- 22:40SPEAKER_09: 651-964-0294.
- 22:43SPEAKER_09: I have a lot of audio to share uh coming up.
- 22:45SPEAKER_09: We'll hear from Riley Gaines and Nancy Maiths.
- 22:48SPEAKER_09: They had some really interesting commentary regarding this trial.
- 22:51SPEAKER_09: And of course, I want to hear from you throughout the show this morning here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.

- 25:00SPEAKER_09: Currently, I'm using the night blend.

- 27:00SPEAKER_18: And now, here's commentary on the latest issues facing Minnesota's from the hosts, policy fellows, and guests of American Experiment.
- 27:09SPEAKER_18: For more content, head on over to the center of the American Experiments YouTube page or at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 27:19SPEAKER_66: The state government of Minnesota gave$500,000 of taxpayers' money to a non-profit called Gender Justice.
- 27:27SPEAKER_66: And it was gender justice who brought the lawsuit against the state government, which won, which allowed for uh men to be put in women's prisons.
- 27:36SPEAKER_66: Um you paid for that.
- 27:38SPEAKER_66: Yeah you know, you hard-pressed, hardworking, law-abiding Minnesota taxpayer, you paid for this.
- 27:44SPEAKER_66: You paid for it both ends.
- 27:45SPEAKER_66: You paid for it when they paid gender justice to being the lawsuit, and you paid for it at the other end when this guy living in a woman's prison gets a sex change operation.
- 27:53SPEAKER_61: If you would like to support the John Justice show, become an advertiser.
- 27:57SPEAKER_61: For more details, email john.justice at AmericaneExperiment.org.
- 28:04SPEAKER_66: So I wrote uh last week about the example of a sex change operation that uh the state of Minnesota has apparently paid for for a convicted murderer.
- 28:14SPEAKER_66: You know, now I looked up how much do these things cost, and I got an estimate of between fifty and eighty thousand dollars.
- 28:21SPEAKER_66: So if you take the low-end estimate, fifty thousand dollars, let's say this was a cheap operation, um, and then you look at um how much the kind of median Minnesota taxpayer pays in taxes, you're looking at about 10 Minnesotans' annual tax state income tax payments have gone to pay for this guy to get a sex change operation.
- 28:41SPEAKER_63: Think about it.
- 28:42SPEAKER_63: Now that school's out for the summer, how are Minnesota students doing?
- 28:46SPEAKER_63: Not very well.
- 28:47SPEAKER_63: Minnesota ACT scores fell again last year and are the lowest they've been in ten years.
- 28:53SPEAKER_63: In fact, fewer than half of Minnesota's students can either read or do math at grade level.
- 28:58SPEAKER_63: Think about it.
- 28:59SPEAKER_63: We used to brag about our schools.
- 29:01SPEAKER_63: Now we're losing to states like Mississippi.
- 29:03SPEAKER_63: Visit AmericanExperiment.org for more information.
- 29:06SPEAKER_63: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 29:12SPEAKER_20: Hey John, I think maybe some of the extra attention, especially when I had KFTP on, was they were still still considering it an active shooter situation.
- 29:23SPEAKER_20: And that's you know, prime time of the night, traffic downtown, whatever.
- 29:27SPEAKER_20: Um, however, WCCO never did switch their coverage all night long.
- 29:33SPEAKER_20: KFTP had it on live for like two hours, which is a little much, but WCCO never even turned it on.
- 29:40SPEAKER_20: Two officers were injured on the scene.
- 29:42SPEAKER_20: The third officer was injured at that crash site where that where the police car was all damaged.
- 29:49SPEAKER_20: Have a great day.
- 29:50SPEAKER_20: Thank you so much to the officers and everyone else that worked so promptly to uh take care of the scene.
- 29:56SPEAKER_20: Thank you.
- 29:57SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that's interesting.
- 29:58SPEAKER_09: Um that some of the news outlets didn't even bother to to cover uh the shooting that took place.
- 30:04SPEAKER_09: I ended up watching Live Nation, uh the Fox spin-off national news channel.
- 30:10SPEAKER_09: I like watching that because when there's a big major breaking story, they stay with it even when things die down.
- 30:16SPEAKER_09: And they were covering the Fox 9 coverage of what had um of what had taken place.
- 30:23SPEAKER_09: And so that's the that's the outlet that I was covering as the story continued to uh to break.
- 30:28SPEAKER_09: Let's turn our attention over to this.
- 30:30SPEAKER_09: As I mentioned before, judge makes a call about the deadlocked jury in the Lindsey Clancy trial.
- 30:35SPEAKER_09: The jury has twice indicated that they are uh that they are deadlocked.
- 30:38SPEAKER_09: Again, Clancy has admitted to killing her young children by strangling them with exercise bans while inside the family's home.
- 30:45SPEAKER_09: Her defense team is arguing that she is suffering from postpartum uh psychosis and was not criminally responsible.
- 30:51SPEAKER_09: There's a um there's a story in The Federalist.
- 30:55SPEAKER_09: Uh Eddie Scary has written it.
- 30:57SPEAKER_09: I'm going to share with you some details of it coming up.
- 30:59SPEAKER_09: Uh, he says this though if you have mixed feelings about the Lindsay Clancy, uh, about Lindsay Clancy's cult, you're too stupid and broken to be on TikTok.
- 31:09SPEAKER_09: He makes a direct correlation and uses some personal anecdotes uh with individuals that he knows that he typically believes are rational people that are going and defending what Lindsey Clancy did.
- 31:23SPEAKER_09: Either saying the postpartum depression should keep her from having to serve a significant amount of time in jail, or that she didn't even do it at all.
- 31:31SPEAKER_09: Even though the defense isn't even arguing that and she admitted it.
- 31:35SPEAKER_09: So as your comments continue to roll into the blaster line, I want to share with you some uh audio.
- 31:40SPEAKER_09: First, we'll start with uh Riley Gaines, was on Fox News yesterday and says uh her focus on the Clancy case is pretty simple.
- 31:49SPEAKER_50: Call me harsh, but I don't know if I care about Lindsay Clancy's mental state at all, quite frankly.
- 31:55SPEAKER_50: Um, I watched Hannity a few nights ago.
- 31:58SPEAKER_50: Nancy Grace was on there and she was talking about the physical act of what it takes, what your child actually would look like in terms of, again, visibly what you would see when we're talking about strangling an eight-month-old baby.
- 32:12SPEAKER_50: I mean, it made me sick.
- 32:13SPEAKER_50: I had to turn off my TV.
- 32:15SPEAKER_50: And so when we talk about compassion and empathy and and the want for justice and accountability, um, for me, the starting point are those three children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
- 32:25SPEAKER_50: It's the starting point, it's the ending point, and everything in between for me.
- 32:30SPEAKER_09: And as I mentioned before, um, you know, the there's a lot of angles that have been covered on this.
- 32:34SPEAKER_09: So I'm gonna take a few, um, a few paths that haven't been that haven't been trotted down yet.
- 32:42SPEAKER_09: But uh, where are all the trans women, the biological men defending Lindsay Clancy?
- 32:50SPEAKER_09: Once this farce ends, in terms of this jury deadlocked for whatever ridiculous reason they're deadlocked for, because this seems very cut and dry to me, even though there are some of you that disagree with me.
- 33:03SPEAKER_09: It's okay.
- 33:04SPEAKER_09: It wouldn't be fun if we agreed on everything all the time.
- 33:06SPEAKER_09: But once this farce ends, we may have landed on one of the best examples of the differences between men and women and what we're seeing here.
- 33:15SPEAKER_09: Not only with what Lindsay Clancy did, the rationale for why she did, this hormonal induced action, but also this massive cult following that she has now obtained of women who either one think that it was justified what she did, which is an inevitable place to land if you're pro-abortion.
- 33:40SPEAKER_09: That's not to say that everybody who was pro-abortion would be defending Lindsey Clancy, but I'm gonna venture a guess that 99.9999% of the women defending Lindsay Clancy are also pro-abortion.
- 33:54SPEAKER_09: Let's get to some of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning at 651-964-0294.
- 34:00SPEAKER_29: Hey John, I know you said contacts or comment on one story, but they're kind of intertwined because what's what we saw with the murder mom trial is Oh, look, she's a woman.
- 34:11SPEAKER_29: She couldn't control herself because she's hormonal.
- 34:18SPEAKER_29: Five decades.
- 34:19SPEAKER_09: I'm gonna pause the comment here.
- 34:21SPEAKER_09: I don't mind uh if you want to cross the streams and combine uh the different stories together for for larger themes, you go for it.
- 34:28SPEAKER_09: Uh and just a basic PSA that if you're calling and if you're talking individually about these issues, if you can stick to one.
- 34:34SPEAKER_09: But if you're combining the two, I'm totally fine with that when you call or or text the uh the blaster line.
- 34:41SPEAKER_09: On your first comment, by the way, you're absolutely correct.
- 34:44SPEAKER_09: And by extension of what the leftists have been perpetuating and the lack of accountability narratives and arguments, this falls into that.
- 34:55SPEAKER_09: It it really begins to show you just the fallacy of the leftist argument that it's the world around you that ended up putting you in a position to make the bad choice, not you.
- 35:07SPEAKER_09: No accountability, no responsibility for your actions.
- 35:10SPEAKER_09: There's always external forces out there that caused you to do this.
- 35:14SPEAKER_09: That ridiculous New York City assembly woman is still out there talking about people who are stealing out of necessity and how it does not harm society.
- 35:26SPEAKER_09: Again, the external forces that would put a person in a position to go into a convenience store and steal goods off the shelf because they needed it, and therefore it is somehow and some way uh justified.
- 35:39SPEAKER_10: Good morning, John.
- 35:40SPEAKER_10: The accountability of Lindsay Clancy and the shooting in Minneapolis, all major dictionaries have removed the word accountability for any dictionaries that are sold in Minnesota.
- 35:57SPEAKER_10: When is this madness gonna stop?
- 36:00SPEAKER_09: You know, I think he's making a joke, but at the same time, you know, knowing Minnesota and the the leftists that are involved in politics and making decisions, that wouldn't surprise me if accountability I don't I don't think it has been removed.
- 36:15SPEAKER_09: I think he was making a joke.
- 36:16SPEAKER_09: But these days you just don't know.
- 36:20SPEAKER_39: Good morning, John, Victor here.
- 36:22SPEAKER_39: Um not as cut and dry as you would think it is.
- 36:30SPEAKER_39: First of all, there was basically no investigation.
- 36:34SPEAKER_39: The police showed up, the husband said, She killed all the kids.
- 36:39SPEAKER_39: And the police said, Yep, sounds good.
- 36:41SPEAKER_09: Okay, let me stop it here.
- 36:42SPEAKER_09: Let me stop it here.
- 36:44SPEAKER_09: I'm gonna play the rest of Victor's thoughts.
- 36:46SPEAKER_09: And it's again, we'll agree to disagree here.
- 36:48SPEAKER_09: But let's just say, for the sake of argument, as you hear the rest of his of his uh of his idea that this is not cut and dry, if any of this were true, don't you think that the defense team would have ran with that?
- 37:05SPEAKER_09: I mean, she admitted to murdering her kids.
- 37:08SPEAKER_09: The defense is just taking the postpartum depression-induced mania or however they're describing it.
- 37:15SPEAKER_09: If there are as many holes as you say about the police and the investigation, I would imagine that the defense team would have jumped on that over putting their client in a position to go and admit that she murdered her kids when, in reality, based off of what you're saying, there's a possibility that she didn't.
- 37:35SPEAKER_39: They took basically no evidence from the scene.
- 37:39SPEAKER_39: They took some pictures, they didn't really take pictures of where they found her.
- 37:44SPEAKER_39: All the police said that she was basically you couldn't figure out what she was trying to say with the husband, had a full account of what you told him from a couple minutes before.
- 38:45SPEAKER_39: I think the jury should have a hard time figuring out she admitted to murdering her kids.
- 38:55SPEAKER_09: If there was any validity at all to the claims made in that blast, the defense team would be stupid to not be running with it.
- 39:10SPEAKER_09: I don't get it, man.
- 39:11SPEAKER_09: I just don't get it.
- 39:16SPEAKER_09: Eddie Scary writes, and we'll get to more of your thoughts here in just a moment on the John Justice show.
- 39:21SPEAKER_09: But uh Eddie Scary writes in the federal list.
- 39:24SPEAKER_09: Twice now I've seen it happen.
- 39:26SPEAKER_09: A person I know and whose sanity I'd otherwise never questioned expresses an opinion about a high-profile criminal trial, completely at odds with reality.
- 39:34SPEAKER_09: And the case both times this happened to me was the same.
- 39:37SPEAKER_09: The individual was following the case almost exclusively on TikTok.
- 39:41SPEAKER_09: I sent a text to a girlfriend who asked whether she had been following the trial.
- 39:45SPEAKER_09: We're both interested in true crime stories, and she told me she'd been sucked in, but she then confused me.
- 39:51SPEAKER_09: She says, I don't think she did it, my friend said of Clancy.
- 39:56SPEAKER_09: Eddie goes on to say, in the event I was mistaken, I asked my friend if it wasn't true that Clancy's legal defense team wasn't even denying that she killed the kids, but was only claiming she suffered from mental illness.
- 40:06SPEAKER_09: My friend said she didn't believe that was the case.
- 40:08SPEAKER_09: She was, of course, wrong.
- 40:10SPEAKER_09: The defense team was not, in fact, disputing whether Clancy choked the kids to death using rubber exercise bands.
- 40:16SPEAKER_09: I told my friend that she's simply been following too closely and had only seen a small segment about uh on CNN.
- 40:22SPEAKER_09: She replied that she was tracing the details on TikTok.
- 40:27SPEAKER_09: That new things are coming to light, and the timeline of the night of the incident just doesn't add up.
- 40:32SPEAKER_09: She suggested the defense was actually targeting Clancy's husband as the culprit.
- 40:37SPEAKER_09: That sounds really familiar to what we just heard.
- 40:41SPEAKER_46: Good morning.
- 40:42SPEAKER_46: Uh, this Clancy case reminds me of the Derek Silvan case.
- 40:47SPEAKER_09: I'm gonna pause this here because this uh friend of the show um ended up leaving uh two messages.
- 40:52SPEAKER_09: I'm assuming the first one didn't go through.
- 40:54SPEAKER_46: Good morning.
- 40:55SPEAKER_46: Um the Clancy case reminds me of the Sylvan case where facts were ignored and law and order is just shoved aside.
- 41:07SPEAKER_46: People when people don't care, they let their feelings get involved.
- 41:12SPEAKER_46: And um it's just uh ridiculous.
- 41:17SPEAKER_09: It is ridiculous.
- 41:18SPEAKER_09: It is ridiculous.
- 41:19SPEAKER_09: All right, have a comment that rolled in regarding the shooting.
- 41:22SPEAKER_09: We'll get back to uh Lindsay Clancy here in uh just a moment.
- 41:26SPEAKER_09: With with regard to the shooting that took place in downtown Minneapolis yesterday.
- 41:29SPEAKER_09: Let's go here.
- 41:30SPEAKER_41: Hey John, wasn't there uh three people killed recently?
- 41:34SPEAKER_41: That happened in Minnesota, right?
- 41:35SPEAKER_41: Where at an apartment complex over a parking dispute.
- 41:40SPEAKER_41: Yep.
- 41:40SPEAKER_41: Where the guy didn't want to pay for the parking space.
- 41:44SPEAKER_41: Uh now we got another one where who knows if it was workers at the complex or not, but uh seems to be a dangerous place to work.
- 41:54SPEAKER_09: Getting back to uh Lindsey Clancy, I want to dive back into Eddie Scary's comments here, talking about his friend who'd been watching coverage based off of TikTok.
- 42:02SPEAKER_09: He says, I searched around for more information about the case from news sources I generally trust and found nothing to make me doubt what I had already learned.
- 42:09SPEAKER_09: Again, Clancy didn't deny killing her kids and that no one else was a suspect.
- 42:14SPEAKER_09: It turned out that TikTok was full of women posting similar views to those of my friend.
- 42:20SPEAKER_09: Women saying it was the husband or otherwise theorizing the evidence proves that it could have possibly it couldn't have possibly been Clancy.
- 42:29SPEAKER_09: I had seen this happen before, writes Eddie.
- 42:31SPEAKER_09: In 2023, another high-profile case, the murder trial of Alex Murdaw, was also a TikTok sensation, with users offering their own alternative theories and conclusions as to whether he had the influential Southern uh South Carolina lawyer had killed his wife and son.
- 42:48SPEAKER_09: Now, Eddie goes on to say he talks a little bit more about TikTok, and then he says, no one should deny that this is the problem.
- 42:53SPEAKER_09: When otherwise rational people are seduced by TikTok posters into fantasy scenarios about an obvious criminal being framed to the extent that even the woman who admits she killed her children is now viewed as the victim, there is a crisis at hand.
- 43:10SPEAKER_09: As a true crime junkie, I know there are mysterious deaths, unsolved murders, and even mind-altering plot twists that have taken place in real life.
- 43:18SPEAKER_09: Those happen, but those aren't the reasons to reject reality in a thrill-seeking social media adventure that abandons the facts at hand.
- 43:27SPEAKER_09: In the Clancy case, that includes three dead children and a mother who admits that she is the killer.
- 43:34SPEAKER_09: If TikTok is what's causing people to end up not just wrong about real crimes taking place, but the flat outside with killers, those people cannot be trusted to look at TikTok.
- 43:45SPEAKER_09: Their brains aren't compatible with it, and their phones should be taken away forever.
- 43:51SPEAKER_09: Or people just need to exercise better judgment.
- 43:55SPEAKER_09: TikTok is just a facilitator, by the way.
- 43:58SPEAKER_09: Because you have two different.
- 44:00SPEAKER_09: Kinds of people that would drive this type of commentary on TikTok.
- 44:03SPEAKER_09: You have the influencers that don't really believe what they're peddling, but they're making a lot of money off of going the conspiracy theory route.
- 44:10SPEAKER_09: And then you have the influencers who genuinely believe their own nonsense.
- 44:16SPEAKER_09: There's one result from both of those scenarios.
- 44:20SPEAKER_09: People who agree with either one, regardless of what the motivation is of the influencer peddling the nonsense.
- 44:30SPEAKER_09: You know, people often say on certain issues, like, we shouldn't be shocked.
- 44:36SPEAKER_09: And this is this can be one of them.
- 44:38SPEAKER_09: Given the abortion issue in the country, and how many women are pro-abortion, how many women are fighting tooth and nail to keep the ability to murder children, and even here in Minnesota, having some of the most extreme abortion laws available right up until birth, it shouldn't come as a shock that a bunch of women would be defending a mom for murdering her children by extension of what they're already supporting.
- 45:06SPEAKER_09: This is the inevitable outcome.
- 45:08SPEAKER_09: But let's never not be shocked.
- 45:12SPEAKER_09: I don't want this to be commonplace where we don't get surprised anymore, even though you can see the reasons why people feel this way.
- 45:22SPEAKER_09: People justifying these murders, their broken souls.
- 45:28SPEAKER_09: And an example of just how, you know, above all else, how sinful man is.
- 45:36SPEAKER_09: But this is a slippery slope that we've been heading down for a long, long time.
- 45:41SPEAKER_09: And the direct connection to the abortion issue simply cannot be overlooked in any of this.
- 45:59SPEAKER_19: To repeal the suffrage act and quit letting women into stations of power.
- 46:13SPEAKER_09: Well, let me let me dovetail off of that, okay?
- 46:16SPEAKER_09: Because I don't I don't agree with women shouldn't be able to serve in positions of of power.
- 46:22SPEAKER_09: I I don't I don't have a I don't have an issue with with that, okay?
- 46:25SPEAKER_09: I think that women can obviously control their hormones.
- 46:29SPEAKER_09: Do we have examples of cases where women aren't?
- 46:32SPEAKER_09: Yeah, we have an example of a case right now where a woman isn't controlling her hormones.
- 46:37SPEAKER_09: But we have plenty of circumstances where women can still go and control their hormones.
- 46:41SPEAKER_09: But let me let me dovetail off of the off of the talk back for um for just a moment.
- 46:49SPEAKER_09: Because those that are arguing that Lindsay Clancy shouldn't be held responsible because her of her mental state, because of this hormonal induced action, you sure are making a really good argument regarding the inclusion of men, especially the nuclear family, and the traditional roles of men and women within the nuclear family.
- 47:17SPEAKER_09: The reason why the Bible promotes, advocates for a man and woman ideal nuclear family with very distinct roles in the household regarding men and women.
- 47:38SPEAKER_09: Men can cosplay all they want, women can cosplay all they want.
- 47:44SPEAKER_09: If they want to treat their life that they are perpetually trick-or-treating in costume, that's on them.
- 47:50SPEAKER_09: It's fine.
- 47:51SPEAKER_09: But to call any man pretending to be a woman or any woman pretending to be a man an actual man or an actual woman, this serves as a really, really good reminder of how that just isn't the case.
- 48:03SPEAKER_09: Because biological men and women are right on down to their DNA, different from one another.
- 48:13SPEAKER_26: So this whole whimsy clancy thing and saying, oh, it's the hormones' fault.
- 48:18SPEAKER_26: Well, I think that's just the way the left and the socialists are gonna work.
- 48:22SPEAKER_26: Look at all our famous dictators and their genocidal uh tendencies.
- 48:27SPEAKER_26: They can just be now blamed on hormones.
- 48:32SPEAKER_26: And their policies, it was the hormones that cause them to go off and murder millions and millions and millions and millions of ethics.
- 48:44SPEAKER_22: The defense is saying not guilty due to insanity.
- 48:48SPEAKER_22: So all of the things that you just brought up about the case are irrelevant.
- 48:53SPEAKER_22: Additionally, if this woman is taking the fall because maybe her husband killed the kids, it doesn't change the fact that the public believes that this woman is innocent because of postpartum depression and her emotional distress at the time.
- 49:08SPEAKER_22: So that's the overarching issue that we're having because that's how the case is going to end.
- 49:13SPEAKER_22: Is she guilty or not guilty because of reasons of insanity based on her inability to regulate her emotions?
- 49:20SPEAKER_09: You know, and if that ends up being the case, if this goes to a mistrial and this individual ends up getting off from murdering her children, and you have this large group of individuals who have turned this into a cult defending her for her mental issues, I hope that we as a society can actually go and start having a conversation about this because I don't think that this is really, as I mentioned, where the majority of individuals defending Lindsey Clancy want to go on these issues, because I'm gonna venture a guess, at least I would hope, that they would probably align with the individuals who are pro-trans or boys competing in girls' sports.
- 49:59SPEAKER_09: Or on the issue of abortion, either.
- 50:01SPEAKER_09: I mean, this kicks open a very, very large door to issues if we're going to actually go and defend this woman murdering her children only because she was dealing with hormonal issues.
- 50:15SPEAKER_09: It's insane to me.
- 50:16SPEAKER_09: Nancy Mace, talking with uh local media, mainstream media, had this to say regarding the situation.
- 50:23SPEAKER_51: Make excuses for a mom who murdered her kids.
- 50:26SPEAKER_51: Like, why is it somebody else's fault?
- 50:28SPEAKER_51: Why is it the healthcare system?
- 50:30SPEAKER_51: Why is it her doctor's?
- 50:31SPEAKER_51: Why is it the woman who put her hands around her children's tiny necks uh and strangled them?
- 50:36SPEAKER_51: It took six minutes each, and she shoved their faces into the floor of her home when she did it.
- 50:41SPEAKER_51: And there were others that testified to uh psychologists and psychiatrists that said while she was prescribed those medications, she did not take them.
- 50:48SPEAKER_51: And I say all this because I've got a pretty conservative viewpoint on the Lindsey Clancy murders.
- 50:52SPEAKER_51: I had postpartum with my second child.
- 50:55SPEAKER_51: And like almost every other mom who has postpartum, I didn't murder my children.
- 51:00SPEAKER_51: Um, it is very difficult, it is very harrowing.
- 51:03SPEAKER_51: But if we're going to give postpartum the get out of jail free card for any mom who murders her kids, then by that same logic, we have to say to any mom who was diagnosed with postpartum that maybe your kids should be taken away.
- 51:14SPEAKER_51: I have been appalled and disgusted and completely grossed out by the shocking interviews of the Lindsey Clancy pink mob going on TV and saying they too would harm their kids.
- 51:26SPEAKER_51: I I think this is crazy what's going on.
- 51:29SPEAKER_51: Um, I can't make sense of it.
- 51:31SPEAKER_51: Um the supporters basically these women are fawning over Lindsey Clancy's attorney, figuratively giving him fallacio every time he walks into the courtroom and, you know, just fawning over a woman who murdered her kids.
- 51:44SPEAKER_51: And there's very little sympathy.
- 51:45SPEAKER_51: And this mom blamed her husband, the man that walked home, came into the house to see and witness three of his children dead.
- 51:53SPEAKER_51: And I just that to me, this thing is crazy.
- 51:55SPEAKER_51: There's going to be a hung jury.
- 51:57SPEAKER_51: Um, a jury's supposed to be impartial.
- 51:59SPEAKER_51: And you saw two or three of the female jurists walk in yesterday with pink shirts on.
- 52:03SPEAKER_51: I guess in solidarity uh with Lindsay Clancy.
- 52:06SPEAKER_51: I to me, this is crazy uh talk.
- 52:09SPEAKER_51: And at some point, we have to get back to what are our values?
- 52:12SPEAKER_51: Do we value life?
- 52:13SPEAKER_51: Do we value uh or do we value murderers?
- 52:16SPEAKER_51: I to me, I can't make sense of it.
- 52:18SPEAKER_51: And I think that the support is absolute insanity.
- 52:21SPEAKER_51: Like, where was the support when Irene Zaruth Scott got murdered or when we had uh women that were murdered by illegal aliens or raped by them?
- 52:28SPEAKER_51: Where was the sympathy in that?
- 52:30SPEAKER_51: It just didn't exist with these quote feminists.
- 52:35SPEAKER_09: Again, I hope that we're never not shocked by any of this.
- 52:40SPEAKER_09: But this new culture of murder defense, it's terrifying.
- 52:45SPEAKER_09: Because this is a wholesale change.
- 52:48SPEAKER_09: Well, let me back up.
- 52:49SPEAKER_09: Let me back up because Eddie Scary at the Federalist actually made a really good, a really good point with his TikTok analogy, because it it is a facilitator.
- 52:57SPEAKER_09: Social media is a facilitator.
- 52:59SPEAKER_09: There has always been individuals that were siding with murderers, turning murderers into celebrities, but it was typically isolated to a handful of people who were willing to go and make it known.
- 53:11SPEAKER_09: I mean, it's been a trope for a long time.
- 53:14SPEAKER_09: You see it in movies, you see it in television shows of the serial killer, the murderer, and the women who fawn over them that end up going to visit them during visiting hours in the prison.
- 53:25SPEAKER_09: This isn't necessarily anything new.
- 53:27SPEAKER_09: What is new is the social contagion attached to it that grows the mental illness among the populace and ends up with way more individuals that end up siding with this than typically would have in the past.
- 53:42SPEAKER_09: Because usually, as a society, we would denounce those individuals.
- 53:46SPEAKER_09: You'd have to be pretty off your rocker to go and defend a serial killer and then become a fan of him or her to say you're attracted to them, right?
- 53:59SPEAKER_09: We always kind of went, those are crazy people.
- 54:01SPEAKER_09: They're not a part of regular society.
- 54:03SPEAKER_09: Now we have regular society that's really acting this way in mass.
- 54:08SPEAKER_09: And a lot of this has to do exactly with what with what was mentioned in that Federalist piece.
- 54:14SPEAKER_09: The text that rolled in.
- 54:15SPEAKER_09: I heard there's a woman in Illinois trying to use postpartum depression as a defense after he shot her child.
- 54:20SPEAKER_09: I haven't seen that story, but I did see this story.
- 54:23SPEAKER_09: A toddler has been killed, mother hospitalized in eerie case echoing Lindsay Clancy.
- 54:29SPEAKER_09: Uh, here is the uh local Chicago News reporting on this story.
- 54:35SPEAKER_57: A lot of people are bringing up the big trial that's playing out right now in Massachusetts.
- 54:40SPEAKER_57: They're talking about the Lindsey Clancy trial, especially after this came out.
- 54:44SPEAKER_57: A lot of people are saying, oh my gosh, you know, this sounds so similar because, guys, we've been talking about the Lindsey Clancy trial that's happening, you know, nationwide.
- 54:51SPEAKER_57: It's the biggest trial that's happening right now.
- 54:53SPEAKER_57: Um, and it's been playing out for weeks.
- 54:56SPEAKER_57: And so for a lot of these folks who are reacting to what's happened in their backyards, they're immediately, you know, reminded of what's playing out um at the national scale.
- 55:06SPEAKER_23: This is just absolutely devastating that this could be another Lindsay Clancy situation in our neighborhood, in our community.
- 55:12SPEAKER_23: You never think it's gonna hit so close to home.
- 55:18SPEAKER_26: Good morning, John.
- 55:20SPEAKER_26: So this whole Lindsay Clancy thing and saying, oh, it's the hormones' fault.
- 55:24SPEAKER_26: Well, I think that's just the way the left and the socialists are gonna work.
- 55:29SPEAKER_26: Look at all our famous dictators and their genocidal uh tendencies.
- 55:34SPEAKER_26: They can just be now blamed on hormones.
- 55:38SPEAKER_28: Good morning, John Rich again.
- 55:40SPEAKER_28: So this mother looked up how to kill her children.
- 55:45SPEAKER_28: They looked into her electronic footprint and they found evidence that she researched it.
- 55:50SPEAKER_28: So that shows clear premedication for murder, and she also omitted it.
- 55:56SPEAKER_28: So that talkback you had really had some real poor information.
- 56:03SPEAKER_42: Good morning, John.
- 56:04SPEAKER_42: Just wanted to remind the listeners who are in denial about Lindsay Clancy.
- 56:08SPEAKER_42: There's a legal term called stipulation, meaning the fact that Lindsay Clancy strangled all three of her children has been stipulated by both sides and is not in question.
- 56:18SPEAKER_42: Therefore, the fact that she is guilty is not in question.
- 56:21SPEAKER_42: What is in question is whether or not she's criminally responsible.
- 56:25SPEAKER_42: All right, so that's the fine line people have to decide here.
- 56:29SPEAKER_42: Is she criminally responsible for the murders that she admitted to and that both sides legally stipulated to in court?
- 56:39SPEAKER_42: All right.
- 56:39SPEAKER_42: That's all I had to say.
- 56:41SPEAKER_42: Have a great week.
- 56:41SPEAKER_42: Okay.
- 56:42SPEAKER_09: Regarding social media, this question came into the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 56:48SPEAKER_33: Exactly.
- 56:48SPEAKER_33: For someone who's not familiar, you say they're making money off of the influencing.
- 56:54SPEAKER_33: What kind of money are we talking about?
- 56:56SPEAKER_33: Have a great day by now.
- 56:57SPEAKER_09: Uh significant.
- 57:00SPEAKER_09: A significant amount of money.
- 57:01SPEAKER_09: And it doesn't take much.
- 57:02SPEAKER_09: If you have 10,000 followers on uh TikTok, uh, you can start to monetize.
- 57:10SPEAKER_09: So let's say for the sake of argument, uh, if you have a post, if you put up a video, and TikTok's really interesting in terms of the way the algorithm works, if I post on, because we have social media accounts, right?
- 57:23SPEAKER_09: John Justice show, Instagram, and TikTok.
- 57:25SPEAKER_09: I have my own personal TikTok, the John Justice, J-O-N for both.
- 57:30SPEAKER_09: If you post, if we post a clip from the show, if we crop what you can watch at uh American Experiments Facebook and YouTube page, which you can watch on my feed right now on X, if we take and crop a crop it, crop a clip and post it up on uh on TikTok, it doesn't do very well.
- 57:47SPEAKER_09: It doesn't do very well because it's too professional.
- 57:50SPEAKER_09: TikTok wants low, I say low quality, but they basically want really personal videos on their platform.
- 57:59SPEAKER_09: You can have a professional type setup, but they want something that isn't, that doesn't look like it came off of a media outlet or from a news outlet.
- 58:09SPEAKER_09: They want something that's a little bit more genuine, personal, and and authentic.
- 58:13SPEAKER_09: So if you post a video and let's say it gets 78,000 views, you're probably gonna make about$400 to$500 off that video.
- 58:25SPEAKER_09: And we're talking about a 90-second video.
- 58:28SPEAKER_09: You do a slightly longer one and it gets that the it gets the number of views, that that price point of how much you're gonna recoup goes up exponentially.
- 58:37SPEAKER_09: So you could easily, if you've got videos that are averaging, you know, if you have videos that are averaging 10 to 20,000 and you put up multiple ones a day, you can easily clear two or three grand just off that alone.
- 58:50SPEAKER_09: If you're doing videos that are in the hundreds of thousands of views, yeah, you're clearing thousands upon thousands of dollars if you have multiple videos like that a month.
- 59:00SPEAKER_09: So this is why I mentioned before that you have two types of influencers peddling this stuff.
- 59:06SPEAKER_09: You have the influencers that do not believe the garbage they're peddling, but they know that they're gonna get the views and clicks if they push a separate narrative, if they go down the conspiracy theory road, or you have individuals that are out there pedaling this stuff that actually do believe in it, but they're also making money off of it as well.
- 59:24SPEAKER_09: Why do you think people like Candace Owens went down the road that they did?
- 59:31SPEAKER_09: Because there's more money in it.
- 59:34SPEAKER_09: The conservative sphere of social influencers is pretty, it's pretty wide.
- 59:38SPEAKER_09: It's pretty popular.
- 59:40SPEAKER_09: And there are individuals who used to be attached to particular outlets where they did really well, but then they got distanced from those outlets.
- 59:49SPEAKER_09: In the case of Candace Owens, I'll just pick on her for a moment.
- 59:52SPEAKER_09: She ended up leaving Daily Wire or striking out on her own.
- 59:55SPEAKER_09: I guarantee you that when she struck out on her own, she realized that it's tough to get the audience to follow.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_09: It's what we ended up, you know, it's what it was one of the challenges that we faced here when I, you know, ended up departing from the radio station and joining American Experiment.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_09: We wanted to get the show launched as soon as we could so that we could capture the audience that would be missing me 6 to 9 a.m.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_09: on the radio.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_09: And, you know, I'm pleased to say that we were successful in doing that.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_09: But there are other individuals out there, maybe they don't have an apparatus behind them.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_09: Maybe they don't have the support base.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_09: But they end up going down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole and it becomes incredibly lucrative.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_09: A lot more popular in Candace Owens' case to blame Israel for everything or going down bizarro conspiracy routes regarding the murder, the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_09: There's a lot of money involved in that.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_09: A lot more for her than there would have been if she had taken a very traditional rational stance regarding the issue of, in this case, just because I'm using the example of Charlie Kirk's assassination.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_09: So again, that's a wipe out too hard, but that's a part of the problem here.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_09: But the result of that is the same.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_09: Too many individuals that are buying face value into the commentary that's being pedaled in front of them for a number of different reasons that may not even be legitimate.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_09: The social contagion of just wanting to be involved in something, to want to be a part of something.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_09: And if you don't have a baseline of scripture of which to pull off of, and you're simply making your decisions based off of your own selfish intentions and views, then yeah, this is how twisted things get.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_09: Where you have a woman who admitted to murdering her three children, and yet you have individuals defending her or not even believing the person that admitted that she murdered her three children.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_09: And it is the John Justice show as we head into the second hour for a Thursday, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_09: And remember, you can watch on my feed on uh X, also on Facebook and YouTube at Center of the American Experiment.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_09: Listen to the show live on the Mix LR app.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_09: It's completely free to download.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_09: You can also listen to the podcast if you missed any portion of the show right there in the app.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_09: The podcast is, of course, posted across all the major podcast platforms, as is a repeat of the show.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_09: We're tracking three big stories this morning.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_09: We had the national news leading shooting yesterday at the Loring apartments in downtown Minneapolis, leaving three dead, including the shooter, three officers, and three civilians wounded in that situation.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_09: Looks as if this could have potentially been a circumstance wherein this individual was being evicted, even though he was only paying$105 a month in rent.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_09: You were paying for the rest of it.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_09: But there was a lot of confusion heading into this, what ended up causing this story to go and get national attention.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_09: We'll dive back into it coming up.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_09: Right now we're talking about um the issue of Lindsey Clancy, something that we haven't talked about on the show up until uh today.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_09: A judge ended up making a call about the deadlocked jury in Lindsay Clancy's trial.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_09: The jury has twice indicated that they are uh deadlocked, and there's some speculation that there could be two female holdouts on the jury that are keeping Lindsay Clancy from being convicted in all of this.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_09: And it really has brought out some of the worst inhumanity that I have seen.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_09: The number of deluded women out there that are believing that one, either she's not responsible because of postpartum depression, or two, not even believing her own admission that she murdered her kids.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_09: Saying that they believe that the husband was the one who did it.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_09: We should never not be shocked when people act this way, but at the same time, this is predictable when you look at the way the country is heading, the mentality of individuals and the lack of regard to human life.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_09: It's a direct extension of the issue of abortion.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_09: This exposes the very specific biological differences between men and women.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_09: It really exposes a dangerous spot within our society right now that's always existed.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_09: There's always been individuals who have turned murderers and serial killers, who have become fans and turned them into folk heroes in their own minds, women who have said that they've become attracted to these individuals, but the social contagion spreads through our social media now, and a desire from a lot of godless individuals to fill that big empty hole they have in their life to be a part of something.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_09: As a sidebar note, we're gonna get back to your comments here in in just a moment.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_09: Sidebar, I didn't grab this article.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_09: Um, I had I had almost I pulled it, I copy pasted the text, and then I decided, you know, I didn't want to.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_09: There were too many other issues to deal with today.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_09: But Rochelle Olson, or was it Tolkienan?
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_09: I think it was Olsen.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_09: It was one or the other in the Star Tribune.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_09: I'll go and look.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_09: But they had an editorial talking about a local school district that was looking to go and remove or ban LGBTQ themed items on the walls or clothing for teachers.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_09: And the argument that they were making was that if that's the case, then we need to ban any children wearing gold crosses as well.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_09: And I wasn't the first one to pick up on this.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_09: I think A.K.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_09: Kamara had a similar thought that I did.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_09: I thought it was really, really telling that this article, editorial writer, this leftist white woman for the Star Tribune, was putting LGBTQ imagery on par with religious imagery.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_09: It speaks volumes about how they've View the LGBTQ imagery.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_09: They do view it as a religion.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_09: It is a replacement for God in their lives.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_09: A lot of you have called, have uh have called in to the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_09: We'll get to your text as well, but let's work through some of your comments.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_09: Again, Clancy is on trial for the murder of her three children.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_09: Five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson, eight-month-old Callan, facing the possibility of life in prison.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_09: She should have gotten the death penalty.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_09: She's admitted to killing her young children by strangling them with exercise bans while inside the family's home in Massachusetts.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_09: And her defense team is arguing that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_09: I don't buy any other argument than that.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_09: This idea that her husband did it and the the uh the defense team isn't even running with that is just it's pure fantasy at this point in time.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_32: Hey John, Al the Trucker here, heading through Denver on the way to work.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_32: Say, I have not heard in the Lindsey Clancy case here any examples of whether or not this survives the uh the reverse, the the the Uno reverse rule.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_32: Uh can a man do the same thing?
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_32: Um can a man say that he's not guilty of a murder simply because of the fact that he was really angry and tends to take a handful of pills every morning.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_32: Um if the emotions are what give the excuse right there, then this woman should fry or spend the rest of her life in jail because that's what would happen if a man did the same thing.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_09: Yep, you're absolutely right.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_09: Listen, and to that point, let me play this audio for you as I um as I preview some of the uh texts and comments that have rolled into the blaster line.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_09: Uh, this is Caitlin Bennett.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_09: She often does a lot of on the street reporting.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_09: Uh, and this is um men and women reacting to Lindsay Clancy.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_09: And the difference is absolutely astounding.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_09: Listen to uh listen to this.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_13: It is wild that people support it.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_13: I've only heard dumb people agree with her.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_16: We're asking people today if they stand with her.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_15: Yes.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_15: Tell me what she did.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_15: She asked for some hell because she was a struggle about like the maternity.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_08: Well, if she did do it, I hope she burns in hell.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_08: If she didn't do it, whoever did, burn in hell.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_16: Does she belong in jail or does she belong to go in a nice little mental house?
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_16: I think she belongs where she can get the best care.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_67: She killed her children, that's bad, obviously.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_67: I I probably disagree.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_67: I don't know the details, but if she killed her children, that's probably bad.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_53: I think that her husband gaslighted her on a lot of the issues that she was having, and he also didn't support her throughout.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_53: Where's your proof for that?
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_18: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_12: My opinion is that she uh definitely had mental challenges, but she also committed murder, so she got to be served up.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_53: I think that she was absolutely completely drugged, um, and and having a psychotic break.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_53: Do you support Lindsay Clancy?
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_55: No.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_15: Oh no, okay.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_15: It's about a human.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_15: It's about a person.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_15: What about the three humans that were strangled to death?
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_15: That's not acceptable.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_15: But we have to be more than this problem.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_15: She was a person who asked for help.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_65: She killed three kids.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_65: She did.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_65: So no.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_65: Okay.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_65: You can't kill three kids.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_49: We feel she's very sleep-deprived.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_49: Her job as a labor and delivery nurse working night shifts and three children is a lot.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_13: Well, I was like, you better not be supporting this.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_13: I told her.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_13: I've heard about it, and I'm like, I would run.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_16: Mental health awareness is what is is coming from this, right?
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_16: So that's a positive thing.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_16: You guys support Lindsay?
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_13: Oh, this one?
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_13: No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_16: Why do you stand with her?
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_16: Um, there wasn't a lot of evidence that showed that it was her.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_16: There wasn't a big uh She said she did it.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_16: Yeah.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_16: We're asking St.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_16: Pete's opinion on if they support Lindsay Clancy.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_08: No.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_16: You don't.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_08: No.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_08: I want to watch you have a town.
- 1:09:51unknown: Okay.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_16: That's why you watched me because you're your common sense here.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_09: By the way, again, this is a really good example of why the abortion issue is so contentious and such a winner for those on the left.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_09: By extension, that's what this is about.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_09: I think there's a lot of women out there that believe that they if they end up not defending Lindsey Clancy, it somehow undermines their view on abortion.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_09: Let's get back to some of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning, 651-964-0294.
- 1:10:27SPEAKER_39: John, you're making a lot of accusations here.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_39: You're saying all the people that have questions about the case all of a sudden agree with abortion.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_09: Let me pause here.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_09: I didn't say everybody.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_09: I said actually the quite opposite.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_09: I said, not everybody who agrees with abortion, supports abortion, is gonna defend Lindsey Clancy.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_09: But I can probably guarantee that 99.9% of the people that are defending the women that are defending Lindsey Clancy are probably also pro-abortion.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_09: So make sure you listen closely to what I have to say because I try to be very specific about these issues.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_39: And are probably supporting transgender people.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_09: Yeah, there that's better.
- 1:11:11SPEAKER_09: Probably.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_39: Making a lot of accusations here, buddy.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_39: I am.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_39: It's been a long time that I've listened to your show.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_39: I mean that's some strong words for you.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_09: You don't agree with that?
- 1:11:27SPEAKER_09: You disagree with me?
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_09: I'm sure there's some conservative women that I mean, we had a friend of the show who I believe is a conservative and a friend of the show who also is buying into these ridiculous narratives regarding those that are out there peddling these conspiracy theories on social media.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_09: So I suppose there could be some some conservative men and conservative women, but in in my estimation, the majority of the women that are defending this are probably pro-abortion individuals who also are very pro-trans as well.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_09: If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong.
- 1:11:58SPEAKER_09: I don't think that I am.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_09: Kind of surprised that you think that way.
- 1:12:00SPEAKER_09: But let's go back to some of your thoughts.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_44: If the left thinks it's okay to murder babies up till the time they're born or even leave them lay out after they're born to die, what's wrong with killing your kids when they're older?
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_44: Yep.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_44: I guess it doesn't matter what age they are.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_44: Yep.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_44: It's a crazy world.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_44: Sad, sad.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_09: It is sad.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_09: But that's the listen, I I I used to dismiss this slippery slope idea.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_09: I used to think it was lazy to do this as a talk show host.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_09: I thought it was lazy to go and take that mentality that it wasn't accurate.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_09: You don't know what the future is going to hold.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_09: So to go and say, you know, the logical extension of a thought process, we should avoid all of that.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_09: I don't feel that way anymore.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_09: We've seen too many examples of the slippery slope leading to exactly what we said the slippery slope was going to lead to.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_09: And when you have a society and a large group of like half the country that is in support of murdering children in the womb, by extension, it makes sense that when a woman goes and murders a child outside of the womb, you're going to have a bunch of individuals who are going to be defending that by extension of their views of abortion.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_09: My commentary regarding the trans community and these women supporting trans issues, I was just simply making the fact that if they do, because I imagine that a lot of these women are probably on the left, if they do, they are opening up.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_09: This is Pandora's box when you're talking about these issues, especially if you're trying to let Lindsay Clancy off the hook because of her postpartum hormonal issues, because you're really pointing to the differences biologically between men and women.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_27: I just finished putting the little socks and changing the diaper of my soon-to-be 11-month-old granddaughter who I love dearly, and I can't even imagine for one second being so depressed that I would strangle his poor, beautiful child, this Lindsay Clancy.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_27: She needs to get the death penalty.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_27: And I'm sorry, all you ladies out there who hate men and want to blame men.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_27: And then when it comes to your gender, you want to say, hey, it was the hormones.
- 1:14:09SPEAKER_27: Well, you know what?
- 1:14:09SPEAKER_27: If that's the case, none of you should be ever allowed into political power because if you're having a hormonal day, you launch nuclear missiles, it's going to be a bad day for everybody.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_27: What a joke.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_09: Scott Conn was on a five this morning.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_09: Although I had a listener that pointed out, uh, producer Devin is here.
- 1:14:26SPEAKER_09: I don't think I've said good morning.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_09: Good morning, buddy.
- 1:14:28SPEAKER_09: Good to see you.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_09: What's up?
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_09: It's like Devin's just over here, you know.
- 1:14:33SPEAKER_09: Uh no, my name's not Devin, it's Paul.
- 1:14:35SPEAKER_09: This is between y'all.
- 1:14:36SPEAKER_09: Just he's just chilling over here listening to the commentary.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_09: I had a uh listener that pointed out that I think um the Scott Con level is reversed.
- 1:14:46SPEAKER_09: I think when you go to DEF CON, like it's DEF CON 1 is the most extreme.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_09: Whereas five would be the less extreme, and we've been going the other way on it.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_09: But it's ScottCon.
- 1:14:55SPEAKER_09: We're already talking about something that's fix uh, you know, fictitious in the first place.
- 1:14:58SPEAKER_09: So I'm not changing it, even though it might not be technically accurate.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_09: Good morning, John.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_09: I just finished.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_09: Sorry, that was horrible.
- 1:15:05SPEAKER_09: We already we already heard him.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_11: Good morning.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_11: Listening to those women make me sick to my stomach as a female.
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_11: Um I can't imagine looking into a a child's eyes and doing that to them.
- 1:15:28SPEAKER_33: Yeah, it is.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_33: Because of that.
- 1:15:43SPEAKER_33: So what has changed in our society since that time?
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_33: The pro-abortion trial.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_33: And this just falls into their narrative that even after birth women have a right to abort their child at any time.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_33: So that's where your society has gone wrong.
- 1:16:01SPEAKER_09: Yeah, no, you're absolutely right.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_09: And we'll continue to take your comments on this.
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_09: We do have other issues that we need to we need to dive into.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_09: Um, all state agencies, uh, DMVs, law enforcement agencies, are now subjected to reporting any illegal immigrants that they have on record to DHS.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_09: We're gonna talk about this story.
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_09: I want to give you some some details on it.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_09: Of course, the other big story from overnight, uh, several victims, including two police officers shot in the active shooter situation incident in uh in Minneapolis.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_09: I do have some audio to share with you regarding that.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_09: So we got a lot of ground to cover today and a lot of comments that have been rolling in.
- 1:16:40SPEAKER_09: I want to go here just briefly, because I've been holding on to this particular story and it fits in nicely with the Lindsey Clancy controversy doing that thing with my fingers, and I can't even believe that it's a controversy.
- 1:16:52SPEAKER_09: But as we mentioned in there, or as I shared with you from that Federalist piece from Eddie Scary earlier in the show, where he had gone down and looked at the commentary regarding Lindsay Clancy on TikTok and began to see the common threads of how people are being influenced in into believing that one, either she didn't do it, or two, you should give her a pass because of hormones.
- 1:17:15SPEAKER_09: And again, the results is the same.
- 1:17:17SPEAKER_09: A lot of people are buying into this, into this by what they see online.
- 1:17:22SPEAKER_09: When it comes to the influencing aspect of it, here's a story that I wanted to share, and we'll get back to more of your thoughts from the blaster line in just a moment.
- 1:17:29SPEAKER_09: Political campaigns, and this comes out of the Daily Wire, political campaigns are increasingly paying social media influencers to promote candidates online without even disclosing the arrangement to viewers.
- 1:17:41SPEAKER_09: This is according to a New York Times investigation that was published on Sunday.
- 1:17:45SPEAKER_09: The Times reviewed campaign finance filings that found Josh Green, for example, a left-wing commentator with nearly 800,000 followers, has received payments from at least seven candidates or their affiliated groups this election cycle alone.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_09: Green told the Times that he only accepts money from candidates.
- 1:18:06SPEAKER_09: He already supports and does not view the payment as having changed his position.
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_09: I can tell you, with 800,000 followers, you're probably going to average at least 40 to 60 to 80,000 per clip, depending on what you're putting out.
- 1:18:19SPEAKER_09: If you're putting out consistent content, he is, this is his gig.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_09: And he's doing well on top of being paid by political campaigns, and there's no party exclusivity to all of this.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_09: The bottom line on this is you have to be sure of the source.
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 1:18:41SPEAKER_09: You have to be sure of the source of who you're listening to and understand where they're getting their rationale from.
- 1:18:47SPEAKER_09: Too many individuals are being they're called influencers for a reason.
- 1:18:52SPEAKER_09: And much of what you're seeing is not real.
- 1:18:56SPEAKER_09: Because people have found a grift.
- 1:18:58SPEAKER_09: They're making money off of it.
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_09: It's capitalism, I get it, but it's once again on the responsibility.
- 1:19:04SPEAKER_09: The responsibility falls on the shoulders of the individuals that are receiving this information.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_09: And unfortunately, in a society that is increasingly convinced by a political party of leftists that they don't have to be responsible for their actions, that it's the world around them that causes them to go and make their bad decisions.
- 1:19:21SPEAKER_09: That people aren't inherently sinful and evil.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_09: It makes them way more susceptible to this than they would have been in the past.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_09: Here's the audio from uh some of the New York Times investigation regarding this particular uh story.
- 1:19:34SPEAKER_06: Politicians are quietly paying influencers for their support online.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_03: Katie Porter is the best candidate for governor of California.
- 1:19:41SPEAKER_03: Tom Seyer is the most progressive viable candidate in this race.
- 1:19:44SPEAKER_03: I guess it's gotta be Steve Hilton, doesn't it?
- 1:19:46SPEAKER_06: My colleague Stuart Thompson and I found literally hundreds of influencers around the country who had taken money ranging from as little as$10 per post up to huge sums of money to support a candidate.
- 1:19:56SPEAKER_06: One influencer we came across, Josh Green, he goes by Josh the Progressive, and we found a clip of him from early in the primary for governor of California.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_06: Billionaire Tom Steyr isn't the progressive champion you might think he is.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_06: A few months later, we found out he had changed his opinion.
- 1:20:11SPEAKER_45: I am focused on who I think is currently the most progressive, viable candidate in the race, Tom Steyr.
- 1:20:16SPEAKER_06: We can't say for sure why he changed his opinion, but we looked at campaign finance filings and found that a few months after the initial video, he was paid$21,500 by Tom Steyer.
- 1:20:27SPEAKER_06: What makes that kind of detective work possible is that California, where I live, requires campaigns to not just list their vendors but their sub-vendors.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_06: That kind of payment structure is totally invisible when it comes to federal campaigns like Senate, Congress, President, etc.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_06: We didn't find any instances of Josh Green not complying with California laws or any other laws.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_06: I reached out to Josh Green and he said that he doesn't believe that these are endorsements and that he would never take money from a candidate he didn't uh intend to support anyway.
- 1:20:56SPEAKER_06: The Steyr campaign's stance on all this has always been that creators should be compensated for the work they do.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_06: And Josh Green, in three of his videos about Tom Steyer, included a disclosure saying that he was paid by the candidate.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_06: But beyond that, we found many other instances of him taking money from campaigns or from outside groups of supporting candidates.
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_45: His name is Chuck Park.
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_45: Claire Valdez is a democratic socialist, one of those candidates named Brad Lander.
- 1:21:22SPEAKER_06: And there's no disclosure either in the video or in the text accompanying it that any money changed hands.
- 1:21:28SPEAKER_06: When it comes to additional campaign advertising, we're talking about billboards, TV ads, radio ads, or mailers.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_06: There are strict laws requiring disclosure of who paid for it, and that doesn't exist when it comes to social media.
- 1:21:39SPEAKER_06: This issue of paid influence is pervasive.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_06: This is something that affects Republicans and Democrats.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_06: And there are a few campaigns that are not out there trying to secure attention from social media influencers any way they can.
- 1:21:52SPEAKER_09: You have to be aware of the background of the individuals that you're receiving information from.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_09: And listen, the same thing rings true for me.
- 1:22:00SPEAKER_09: Neil Bort's a favorite talk show uh host of mine.
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_09: Um he retired a number of uh years ago.
- 1:22:05SPEAKER_09: I was friends with uh Neil, fantastic guy.
- 1:22:08SPEAKER_09: But he used to always say on his on his show, listen, it's up to you listening, and I and I agree, you listening or watching the show.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_09: It's up to you to decide whether or not you believe what I'm what I'm saying.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_09: I'm sharing with you my authentic, genuine thoughts on these issues.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_09: I'm trying to present the facts as best as I know them, providing my commentary.
- 1:22:31SPEAKER_09: But what you take away from this show, that's on, that's on you.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_09: And the same thing rings true when it comes to these social media uh influencers, especially regarding what has happened with this cult-like following that Lindsey Clancy has uh been able to obtain in the course of this trial.
- 1:22:46SPEAKER_09: And she may it's just it is dumbfounding to me that this woman may end up going free because a jury could not agree on this.
- 1:22:54SPEAKER_09: Let's go back and hear some of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning at 651-964-0294.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_36: Hey John, Eric from Chicago.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_36: Agree with almost everything you've said today.
- 1:23:04SPEAKER_36: Um, there's got to be something I disagreed with, but I don't really know what it is.
- 1:23:08SPEAKER_36: I really hope that the mental health industry starts looking at all these cocktails of drugs that they're providing because I think that may be the underlying problem is all these pharmaceuticals we're giving for depression.
- 1:23:19SPEAKER_36: We didn't have these problems 25, 30 years ago until that became like the go-to is just antidepressants.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_36: So maybe she wasn't responsible for what she did under the drugs, but she still knew right from wrong.
- 1:23:36SPEAKER_36: It's the drugs.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_21: They're not saying that it was depression or depression or hormones.
- 1:23:47SPEAKER_21: They're arguing that she had mental psychosis, a mental issue that was controlling her voices or something like that.
- 1:23:54SPEAKER_21: So that's the question at hand is was she criminally reliable, not because of depression again, and not because of postpartum syndrome, but because she had mental psychosis.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_21: So it's a whole different thing.
- 1:24:07SPEAKER_09: Well, listen, I'm just I'm going off the story in front of me.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_09: Her defense team is arguing that she was suffering postpartum psychosis.
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_09: Postpartum's in the name.
- 1:24:16SPEAKER_09: Postpartum depression.
- 1:24:17SPEAKER_09: They're interchangeable in in my opinion, and it doesn't change the details of what we're um discussing this morning uh on the on the show.
- 1:24:28SPEAKER_64: Hey John, Joe from Victoria.
- 1:24:30SPEAKER_64: Um, Steve did a caller's question.
- 1:24:32SPEAKER_64: Uh what if a man did this?
- 1:24:34SPEAKER_64: Well, the first example of using insanity as a defense, uh, they covered this on uh Clay and Buck yesterday.
- 1:24:40SPEAKER_64: Was in uh army uh personnel who caught his wife cheating in bed and went off and took out the paramore, saying he was in a rage and therefore not responsible for his his behavior.
- 1:24:51SPEAKER_64: Those do exist.
- 1:24:53SPEAKER_64: Um, it is not as troubling as saying that one's biology as a gender is responsible.
- 1:25:00SPEAKER_64: Uh, but there are those examples of using insanity as defense uh for men as well.
- 1:25:05SPEAKER_64: Have a great day.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_09: Thank you for the comments.
- 1:25:07SPEAKER_09: Uh, we'll continue to take your comments as we work through the show this morning.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_09: I do want to get to a few other issues.
- 1:25:13SPEAKER_09: Since we landed on the abortion part of this, and I brought it into the mix because I believe there's a direct correlation here.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_09: Subconsciously or consciously, I think a lot of the uh the cult-like following of uh women who are defending Lindsey Clancy probably, again, subconsciously or consciously, are too afraid to go and admit what she did was wrong.
- 1:25:32SPEAKER_09: That's just insane to me.
- 1:25:34SPEAKER_09: But partly because they know that doing so would may undermine their whole view when it comes to um abortion.
- 1:25:41SPEAKER_09: And this is the slippery slope extension of when you endorse murdering babies before they are uh, you know, born while they're still in the womb, inevitably this is gonna happen.
- 1:25:52SPEAKER_09: And we and listen, as a state, we've shown this already, as we've talked about so many times.
- 1:25:56SPEAKER_09: We have some of the most extreme abortion laws uh in the country here, right up until birth.
- 1:26:01SPEAKER_09: And we've it's just it's inevitable that we would land at a place where, well, if a woman can kill her child right before they're born, there's no reason why she can't kill them out of the womb.
- 1:26:10SPEAKER_09: And why should it have to be immediately out of the womb?
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_09: Are we gonna reach a place in this country where we're gonna have an age limit on when a mom can legally go and murder her child?
- 1:26:23SPEAKER_09: Can't murder them before the, you gotta do it before they're 10, before they're six, before they're seven.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_09: Is this where we're heading?
- 1:26:29SPEAKER_09: I'm almost afraid to mention it out loud because I wouldn't have thought five, six years ago that we would have as many lunatics out there defending a woman who admitted to murdering her three children.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_09: I don't care what kind of postpartum depression you're dealing with.
- 1:26:43SPEAKER_09: That's insane.
- 1:26:44SPEAKER_09: A radical left-wing pro-abortion organization run by a former Biden official has uh put itself in hot water for a stunt that directed women in a state where abortion pills are banned to get access to deadly drugs.
- 1:26:56SPEAKER_09: Attendees at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville looked up over the weekend to see an airplane pulling a banner that read, Abortion Pills by Mail.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_09: The banner directed viewers to Mayday Health, a New York-based nonprofit that directs women to specific services that covertly ship abortion pills through the mail.
- 1:27:14SPEAKER_09: Mayday's stunt could land it in legal trouble after the Kentucky uh attorney general, Russell Coleman, said they broke the law.
- 1:27:22SPEAKER_09: It appears that the abortion activists are flying over Louisville advertising illegal drugs.
- 1:27:26SPEAKER_09: They're breaking the law, Coleman said.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_09: Since January, our office has been investigating mail order abortion pills.
- 1:27:32SPEAKER_09: We will not tolerate this illegal danger.
- 1:27:36SPEAKER_09: There was a point in time where just the mere fact of an organization going out there and promoting abortion pills would have been controversial.
- 1:27:45SPEAKER_09: It is uh sad that we've blown uh past that here in uh in this country.
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_09: A federal judge.
- 1:27:53SPEAKER_09: As we move on to some other issues, the other big stories of the day, and we'll get back to that shooting that took place in downtown Minneapolis coming up in a few.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_09: Minutes here on the John Justice Show.
- 1:28:01SPEAKER_09: And one hour from now, Representative Tom Emmer will be joining us on the show.
- 1:28:06SPEAKER_09: A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration's new executive order limiting birthright citizenship.
- 1:28:13SPEAKER_09: This is following a Supreme Court ruling against the previous order.
- 1:28:16SPEAKER_09: The new order aimed to prevent birth tourism and deny citizenship to children of foreign government workers.
- 1:28:23SPEAKER_09: Those involved in fraudulent activities are classified as alien enemies.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_09: The judge expressed a skepticism about the order and allowed plaintiffs to revise their lawsuit.
- 1:28:33SPEAKER_09: And the plaintiffs was an image was an immigrant rights group.
- 1:28:37SPEAKER_09: Another leftist activist judge strikes again.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_09: You know, the left talks about systemic issues in the country all the time, mostly bogus claims.
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_09: No, we have a systemic issue of these judges out there seeking their five minutes of fame because that's what's happening here.
- 1:28:54SPEAKER_09: These judges go, show, you know, they put forward their leftist bona fides, they push back on Trump.
- 1:29:00SPEAKER_09: I'm sure among their social serv their soul their social circles, they're having a great time, enjoying drinks, talking about how look at what I did.
- 1:29:08SPEAKER_09: I got in the news, I pushed back against Trump.
- 1:29:10SPEAKER_09: I'm just the latest, ha ha, sticking to him.
- 1:29:12SPEAKER_09: And then nine times out of ten, they don't end up sticking when it gets tossed up to a higher court.
- 1:29:17SPEAKER_09: No, we have a systemic issue of radical activist judges in this country.
- 1:29:23SPEAKER_09: Mostly because we don't pay close attention to these to these uh appointments, to the individuals who appoint the judges, or when you can actually go and elect a judges.
- 1:29:31SPEAKER_09: They're just not high up on the list of priorities when it comes to voters.
- 1:29:36SPEAKER_09: In the meantime, another massive story overnight that's not getting hardly any attention.
- 1:29:41SPEAKER_09: We'll see if this story ends up grabbing some headlines today, because it's certainly relevant to us here in Minnesota.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_09: The Department of Justice issued a new legal opinion requiring all states to report undocumented immigrants to the Department of Homeland Security or risk losing federal funding for programs like the TANF and SSI.
- 1:30:07SPEAKER_09: This revision of a 1998 opinion expands the reporting requirement to all state agencies, not just those administering the specific programs.
- 1:30:19SPEAKER_09: The DOJ argues that it ensures compliance with federal law and prevents misuse of taxpayer funds.
- 1:30:25SPEAKER_09: This could potentially have a big impact for uh funding coming from the federal government into Minnesota.
- 1:30:31SPEAKER_09: I have some comments from friend of the show and lawyer James Dickey.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_09: I'll share those with you in just a moment.
- 1:30:37SPEAKER_09: First off, though, let me start off with this.
- 1:30:40SPEAKER_09: Uh this was uh John Solomon reports.
- 1:30:43SPEAKER_09: He was on just the news yesterday, uh, providing further details into this Homeland Security funding issue relating to the reporting of illegal aliens.
- 1:30:52SPEAKER_09: Here's what John Solomon had to say.
- 1:30:53SPEAKER_12: Today, the Justice Department has changed the Homeland Security Department's policy.
- 1:30:57SPEAKER_12: Going forward, any state or locality that gets Homeland Security funding must report all illegal aliens that they have in their custody or in their knowledge in their localities.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_12: That's a major change.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_12: These blue states are either gonna have to give up federal funding or start turning in illegal aliens.
- 1:31:16SPEAKER_12: That just came out a few minutes ago from the Office of Legal Counsel at the Justice Department.
- 1:31:20SPEAKER_12: A major change.
- 1:31:21SPEAKER_12: People, Republicans and Conservatives have been calling for this change since 1998.
- 1:31:25SPEAKER_12: Big, big moment today.
- 1:31:27SPEAKER_12: Uh a new weapon in the arsenal of cracking down on Joe Biden's old uh open border and the legacy of it.
- 1:31:33SPEAKER_12: Um obviously the borders closed now, but a lot of people to get out.
- 1:31:36SPEAKER_12: States and municipalities are gonna have to start reporting all of their illegal aliens.
- 1:31:40SPEAKER_12: Big deal.
- 1:31:41SPEAKER_09: So I was um exchanging some text yesterday with uh James Dickey.
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_09: He had said, in theory, under this new office of legal counsel, if Minnesota fails to tell the federal government of illegal aliens they know are in the state, uh DOC, DPS, or through welfare programs or college tuition programs, driver's licenses for all.
- 1:32:03SPEAKER_09: Anybody?
- 1:32:05SPEAKER_09: That the federal government could move to withdraw the federal portion of the TANF or SSI dollars.
- 1:32:11SPEAKER_09: This withdrew an old Clinton opinion that incorrectly narrowed the reporting requirements to only welfare agencies.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_09: So I wanted to have uh James on the show, but unfortunately he was uh busy uh this morning.
- 1:32:23SPEAKER_09: However, he did leave us two uh blasts on the blaster line at 651-964-0294, sharing his thoughts on this Department of Justice new legal opinion requiring states to report undocumented immigrants to DHS.
- 1:32:41SPEAKER_09: Here's what uh lawyer James Dickey had to say.
- 1:32:44SPEAKER_24: Hey, John, good morning.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_24: James Dickey here.
- 1:32:46SPEAKER_24: I wanted to briefly call in about this uh Office of Legal Counsel opinion that the Trump DOJ just issued yesterday.
- 1:32:54SPEAKER_24: So the Office of Legal Council or OLC issued an opinion that will force the state, including Minnesota, to report any person known to be illegally in the state to the Department of Homeland Security and tied that requirement to federal funding for welfare benefits.
- 1:33:09SPEAKER_24: So this means that if Minnesota doesn't provide DHS with all of its knowledge across all state entities, those illegally here, a billion dollars in federal welfare funding is at risk.
- 1:33:29SPEAKER_24: It issues opinions that often guide agency action, and states look to OLC opinions in order to comply with federal requirements.
- 1:33:37SPEAKER_24: The opinion interprets the meaning of the 1996 welfare reform law that followed the Republican Revolution of 94.
- 1:33:46SPEAKER_24: And the actual text of the 1996 welfare reform law requires each state receiving federal welfare benefits as a condition of the benefit to provide name, address, and any identifying information of any illegal aliens at least four times annually and upon request of the former INF.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_24: That's what the law said.
- 1:34:09SPEAKER_24: But in 1998, the Clinton DOJ issued an opinion that neutered this clear text requirement.
- 1:34:16SPEAKER_24: The Clinton DOJ interpreted the word state pretty straightforward to only mean, and I quote, those state agencies administering the particular federally funded program in question.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_24: But this is totally against the clear language of the law and utter nonsense.
- 1:34:33SPEAKER_24: Because illegal aliens aren't allowed to get welfare benefits under federal law.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_24: So state agencies running those programs would almost never get any such identifying information.
- 1:34:45SPEAKER_24: Now that is standard stuff from an administration that couldn't figure out the definition of the word is.
- 1:34:51SPEAKER_09: So we'll have more from James Dickey in just a moment on this issue here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_09: I want to remind you that when you have a moment today, maybe you do right now, while you're enjoying listening to the show, whether on the Mix LR app or if you're watching on X or Facebook and YouTube at Center of the American Experiment, head on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 1:35:16SPEAKER_09: It's been uh amazing to hear from the friends of the show who have been looking into getting the night gummies to get a good night's sleep.
- 1:35:23SPEAKER_09: It's obviously an issue that a lot of people face.
- 1:35:25SPEAKER_09: I do because of the oddball hours that I keep to do this show, Monday through Friday, 6 until 9 a.m.
- 1:35:32SPEAKER_09: Used to have difficulty going to sleep, staying asleep because of my odd hours.
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_09: That all changed with the night gummies from Mini Leaf, but it's not just the night gummies either.
- 1:35:41SPEAKER_09: Their spooky mini leaf tonics are delicious.
- 1:35:44SPEAKER_09: The triple diamond pain cream is incredibly effective.
- 1:35:46SPEAKER_09: The fun gummies, if you're looking to just chill out and take a break from everything that we cover on a daily basis here on the show.
- 1:35:51SPEAKER_09: The fun gummies are a good way to do that along with the uh tonics as well.
- 1:35:56SPEAKER_09: Uh and the triple diamond pain cream, as we've mentioned, the dark chocolates, too.
- 1:35:59SPEAKER_09: Head on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 1:36:04SPEAKER_09: TasteHappy at minileaf.com.
- 1:36:07SPEAKER_09: More on the states must now report undocumented immigrants to DHS or risk federal funding.
- 1:36:13SPEAKER_09: We'll turn our attention over to the fallout from that horrific shooting that took place yesterday, wounding three officers, murdering two individuals.
- 1:36:22SPEAKER_09: The shooter is also dead, wounding three civilians ended up getting national coverage yesterday.
- 1:36:27SPEAKER_09: We'll talk about that.
- 1:36:28SPEAKER_09: We'll get more of your thoughts via text and voice from the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 1:36:37SPEAKER_09: If you haven't gone to AmericanExperiment.org recently, do so.
- 1:36:41SPEAKER_09: You can head on over to my page, make a donation, get a hat, but also find out about the fall briefing with Byron York.

- 1:37:01SPEAKER_55: Byron York is the chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, but you probably know him from his frequent appearances on Fox News.
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_55: York will give us an update on the race to control the U.S.
- 1:37:11SPEAKER_55: House and Senate and will show how Minnesota fits into the 2026 electoral map.
- 1:37:16SPEAKER_55: Will President Trump beat the odds and grow his power in Congress?
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_55: Or will Democrats take over and throw Washington into gridlock?
- 1:37:23SPEAKER_55: Join us at the beautiful winery at Sovereign Estate to hear York's timely message.

- 1:37:35SPEAKER_55: Get your tickets now at americanexperiment.org slash events.
- 1:37:39SPEAKER_55: That's AmericaneExperiment.org slash events.
- 1:37:44SPEAKER_09: As we've been talking about, the Department of Justice issued this new legal opinion requiring all states to report undocumented immigrants to the Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:37:52SPEAKER_09: I imagine that this is going to end up getting quite a bit of attention today now that we have some of these other news items dying down and might have gotten buried in the wake of the shooting that took place in downtown Minneapolis that we'll talk about here shortly on the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:38:07SPEAKER_09: Because you've already heard the leftists in the state pushing back on the federal government receiving information about those that are in the country here illegally over fear that ICE is going to come in and deport all of them.
- 1:38:19SPEAKER_09: Now they're going to be put in a position where they have to go and turn that information over, or they're going to risk losing federal funding for various programs.
- 1:38:27SPEAKER_09: Lawyer James Dickey left a second comment regarding the ramifications of this move by the Department of Justice here on the John Justice Show.
- 1:38:36SPEAKER_24: So the new Trump Office of Legal Counsel opinion officially revokes the incorrect Clinton DOJ 1998 opinion, and it makes the term state what it actually means to the regular person who reads text and says, this is what the word state means.
- 1:38:57SPEAKER_24: Uh it refers to the sovereign entity, including all of its component agencies.
- 1:39:02SPEAKER_24: So the state can't play Sergeant Schultz and stick its head in the sand when one agency knows something about the location and identifying information of an illegal alien in the state.
- 1:39:12SPEAKER_24: That means the Department of Human Services included is included in this.
- 1:39:16SPEAKER_24: So think Minnesota Care, um Department of Public Safety, think about our jails and and uh state prisons.
- 1:39:24SPEAKER_24: The Secretary of State to the extent the Secretary of State has knowledge that someone is here illegally, and so on.
- 1:39:31SPEAKER_24: Minnesota cannot use the loophole created by the Clinton administration anymore.
- 1:39:36SPEAKER_24: And this is going to set up a fight.
- 1:39:38SPEAKER_24: Of course, Keith Elephant is going to steal over it because Minnesota won't want to be forced to choose between a billion dollars in welfare funding and giving up illegal aliens to the HFT given its resistance posture and its uh ridiculous rebel loon stuff going on.
- 1:39:54SPEAKER_24: It's complicated and that lawsuit would probably be a good topic for Professor Elon Warman's rationally based podcast that the American Experiment also hosts.
- 1:40:04SPEAKER_24: But potentially Minnesota and the other blue states should definitely lose that lawsuit if it's filed and be forced to comply.
- 1:40:11SPEAKER_24: This matters a lot actually for the next governor.
- 1:40:14SPEAKER_24: We know that Lisa Damon's got 17,000 illegal aliens removed from Minnesota care in that huge legislative victory last session.
- 1:40:23SPEAKER_24: And those illegal aliens should probably consider going back to their home country and trying to get in a legal way because this could be a game changer for them.
- 1:40:31SPEAKER_24: But finally, it takes the question for the Clobuchar team that the pro-GFL media won't ask.
- 1:40:37SPEAKER_24: Would a governor Amy Klobuchar do the right thing and work with the federal government on valid enforcement of written federal immigration law?
- 1:40:46SPEAKER_24: Or will she put a billion dollars of funding to Minnesota at risk for her left-wing priorities?
- 1:40:56SPEAKER_09: I think uh thank you to lawyer James Dickey for his thoughtful commentary.
- 1:41:00SPEAKER_09: Um I agree that question should be asked of Lamy Clobishar.
- 1:41:05SPEAKER_09: The other question I would ask is does she know who she's running against?
- 1:41:09SPEAKER_09: Every single interview she's done, she just hammers on Trump.
- 1:41:13SPEAKER_09: I know why she's doing it.
- 1:41:15SPEAKER_09: But Trump's not on the ballot.
- 1:41:17SPEAKER_09: It's Lisa Damath.
- 1:41:18SPEAKER_09: And they're scared.
- 1:41:21SPEAKER_09: They believe that that's the pathway to victory.
- 1:41:23SPEAKER_09: Uh listen, Petty Flanagan's doing exactly the same thing.
- 1:41:26SPEAKER_09: Pointing to Trump almost every single time.
- 1:41:28SPEAKER_09: And if they do talk about Lisa Damath, it's that Lisa Damath doesn't disagree with everything that Trump has done, which is absolutely not true if you've listened to any of the interviews with Lisa Damath.
- 1:41:40SPEAKER_09: I just find it interesting that uh Amy Klobishar seems to think that she's running against Trump because that's pretty much all that you hear in terms of any sort of pushback when she's asked, if she's asked about her campaign for governor.
- 1:41:53SPEAKER_09: One more point on um the issue of what the DOJ is doing to force the states for this uh for this information.
- 1:41:58SPEAKER_09: And we talked about it yesterday in James and uh James Dickey touched upon it at the end of his commentary here.
- 1:42:03SPEAKER_09: And the question regarding Amy Clovishar and whether or not she would agree to work with federal um officials on this.
- 1:42:09SPEAKER_09: This is the part of the situation regarding illegal immigration and these issues that just drives me mad.
- 1:42:15SPEAKER_09: And it comes down to, once again, it doesn't have to be this way.
- 1:42:19SPEAKER_09: You have a record number of detentions, arrests, and deportations over the course of July and August, and there's been no controversy.
- 1:42:27SPEAKER_09: I've been talking about it all week on the show.
- 1:42:30SPEAKER_09: But yesterday we got into detail about how you have state officials across the country working with ICE to ensure that everything runs smoothly in detaining these criminal illegal aliens.
- 1:42:45SPEAKER_09: And it's an issue that the majority of Americans support.
- 1:42:50SPEAKER_09: Despite what the left has done to try to go and painted Trump as a authoritarian dictator and ICE as the Gestapo.
- 1:42:59SPEAKER_09: We've seen the example of how this enforcement works.
- 1:43:03SPEAKER_09: As long as you have a partnership and you don't have politicians that are out there encouraging people to irrationally take to the streets and get in the way of lawful law enforcement, prompting the left-wing loonies here in Minnesota to talk about ICE being here during Operation Metro Surge as an occupation, when, as I highlighted previously this week, no, the occupation has been the illegal aliens in the state, not the legal, lawful, licensed and trained law enforcement officers doing just that, enforcing the law.
- 1:43:37SPEAKER_09: Before we turn our attention over to the shooting that took place in downtown Minneapolis uh yesterday, including getting into a piece from John Phelan writing that the mass shooting in Minneapolis shows how wrong Keith Ellison was in abolishing MPD back in 2021.
- 1:43:53SPEAKER_09: I want to go back to the blaster line for just a moment.
- 1:43:55SPEAKER_09: We spent quite a bit of time in the earlier part of this hour and last hour talking about how the jury continues to be deadlocked in what should be a very cut and dry case, in my opinion, regarding Lindsay Clancy and her admitting to murdering her three children while the defense attempts to go and have her get off on the charges based off of postpartum psychosis.
- 1:44:16SPEAKER_09: She was too mentally unstable to be charged for any of this.
- 1:44:20SPEAKER_09: And the cult of following that she has now received from the broken and the brainwashed individuals out there that either one aren't buying her own confession or two are actually saying that she was justified in murdering her three children.
- 1:44:34SPEAKER_09: I want to go back to the uh blaster line uh this morning, and we'll hear from uh friend of the show.
- 1:44:39SPEAKER_34: Good morning, John.
- 1:44:41SPEAKER_34: This is Holly, friend of the show and Blaine.
- 1:44:43SPEAKER_34: I was just calling to make my little comment about Lindsay Clancy um and her supporters.
- 1:44:48SPEAKER_34: Um, you know, I really feel like that this is going to be kind of setting back everything women have been fighting for for the last, I don't know, 50, 60, 100 years, what have you.
- 1:45:02SPEAKER_34: Um, you know, we've always demanded equality, you know, we can do the same job that the man can do, like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:45:10SPEAKER_34: Um, but now if this is, you know, if she's found not guilty by reason of insanity because of her hormones, um, you know, that's really just gonna make future women um have to fight that much harder to take on the stressful jobs or the big positions.
- 1:45:28SPEAKER_34: Um, I just I just think it's a big, huge setback um for women or has the potential to be.
- 1:45:34SPEAKER_34: Thank you.
- 1:45:34SPEAKER_34: Have a great day.
- 1:45:35SPEAKER_09: Yeah, you're kind of you that's a thank you for the comments, Holly.
- 1:45:38SPEAKER_09: And you're you are you're kind of along the same lines that I that I was regarding that, you know, if you wanted to if you want to take the slippery slope analogy, like I've been deploying this morning, regarding views on abortion and therefore women justifying murdering your own kids after they're uh after they're after they're born.
- 1:45:55SPEAKER_09: Uh the same thing rings true for the arguments in her defense and what it means for the biological differences between men and uh and and women.
- 1:46:04SPEAKER_09: And you're right.
- 1:46:05SPEAKER_09: I mean, this does open up the conversation to if she ends up not being convicted and a jury ends up getting stuck because there were people on that jury that believes that postpartum psychosis was a justification for murdering all three children, then yeah, that adds the potential to really set back women regarding the issue of postpartum depression hormones, the biological differences of what women deal with that affect them hormonally versus men.
- 1:46:35SPEAKER_09: No, you're you're absolutely right.
- 1:46:36SPEAKER_09: And thank you so much for the uh for the comments.
- 1:46:39SPEAKER_09: Um, let's go here regarding the previous uh conversation.
- 1:46:43SPEAKER_20: Hey, John, Amy Clobisha is doing that for a reason.
- 1:46:46SPEAKER_20: The I have a client who's always voted Republican.
- 1:46:51SPEAKER_20: He said because of Trump, mostly because of the ballroom, he can't vote Republican this time.
- 1:46:59SPEAKER_05: The ballroom.
- 1:47:00SPEAKER_20: I tried to tell him don't look nationally right now, just focus on Minnesota, but everything is because of Trump, even for the conservatives.
- 1:47:10SPEAKER_20: So Klobichar, Peggy Flanagan, they're jumping on board with that.
- 1:47:16SPEAKER_09: You know, people that make those excuses, I just listen, you do you.
- 1:47:22SPEAKER_09: I got I just I don't I just do not do not understand it.
- 1:47:27SPEAKER_09: I feel like they are just excuses.
- 1:47:29SPEAKER_09: Especially if you're a Republican and that's where you got stuck.
- 1:47:32SPEAKER_09: I feel like you were already at a place where you didn't want to vote for Republicans or didn't want to support Trump, and you're basically just grabbing on to any excuse.
- 1:47:41SPEAKER_09: I mean, seriously, out of all the things, the ballroom for crying out loud.
- 1:47:47SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that just seems like, oh, I'm gonna grab that one.
- 1:47:50SPEAKER_09: That'll be my justification.
- 1:47:52SPEAKER_09: All right, let's go here and hear from uh friend of the show, Bruce.
- 1:47:55SPEAKER_31: Hey, good morning, John.
- 1:47:56SPEAKER_31: Bruce and Shackby.
- 1:47:57SPEAKER_31: Yeah, just to show how crazy this uh this uh Lindsay Clancy case has gotten, I've seen over the past week, I think, four or five uh TikTok views, uh the TikToks on um women who were bragging that they divorced their husbands because they didn't agree with what Lindsay did and they wanted her to serve prison time.
- 1:48:21SPEAKER_31: Uh their logic was oh, well, if he doesn't support what she did, he's not gonna support me if I have mental health.
- 1:48:29SPEAKER_31: Uh it's just sick how far we've sunk in this society.
- 1:48:33SPEAKER_31: Yeah.
- 1:48:33SPEAKER_31: Have a good day.
- 1:48:34SPEAKER_09: Yeah, it no, you know, that you hit the nail on the head with that last statement.
- 1:48:39SPEAKER_09: It is rather sick how far that we have sunk in our uh society.
- 1:48:43SPEAKER_09: Let's go here.
- 1:48:44SPEAKER_37: Good morning, John.
- 1:48:46SPEAKER_37: Great to be able to listen to you again.
- 1:48:49SPEAKER_37: Uh your comment about Amy Clobishar and her ads against Trump.
- 1:48:54SPEAKER_09: Let me let me pause this really quick.
- 1:48:55SPEAKER_09: This is neither here nor there.
- 1:48:56SPEAKER_09: I just want a moment of levity because I think it's funny.
- 1:48:58SPEAKER_09: So I have transcripts from the new program that we're using for the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 1:49:05SPEAKER_09: Every single time it is um translating Amy Clobishar as Amy Clovis.
- 1:49:11SPEAKER_09: It's like the third time that it's happened.
- 1:49:14SPEAKER_09: It's very odd.
- 1:49:16SPEAKER_09: This is why you can't trust our AI overlords yet.
- 1:49:18SPEAKER_09: They do make some great tunes.
- 1:49:20SPEAKER_09: I'll give you that much.
- 1:49:22SPEAKER_09: All right, let's give him sorry about that.
- 1:49:23SPEAKER_09: Uh let's get back to your uh he had kind words to say about the show, and I cut him off.
- 1:49:27SPEAKER_09: So let's get back to uh his comments.
- 1:49:29SPEAKER_09: As a matter of fact, I'll go ahead and just start his blast over.
- 1:49:32SPEAKER_37: Good morning, John.
- 1:49:34SPEAKER_37: Great to be able to listen to you again.
- 1:49:36SPEAKER_37: Uh your comment about Amy Clobashar and her ads against Trump, not focusing so much on the state elects against her opponent, Lisa Damon, clearly in my mind she believes she's been anointed and is being granted the role of governor, the position of governor.
- 1:49:57SPEAKER_37: So she's not even bothering to run the races.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_37: In front of her.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_37: She's already taken the offensive against the federal government just because of her arrogance and unwillingness to actually focus on what's important, which is the people that she serves.
- 1:50:13SPEAKER_37: It's an embarrassment.
- 1:50:15SPEAKER_37: And it's hard to believe that there's that level of arrogance at this point in time.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_09: Yeah, I I'll continue.
- 1:50:20SPEAKER_09: I I still feel that I don't that Amy Clobuchar doesn't really want this gig.
- 1:50:25SPEAKER_09: I think I I think that she was perfectly fine uh sitting in her cushy senator spot.
- 1:50:31SPEAKER_09: Uh dear friend Drew, uh who I miss every single day, uh, had famously said she's a senator of small things, and he said that for good reason, and that was, you know, almost a decade ago when he started uh saying that.
- 1:50:44SPEAKER_09: No, I don't think she really wants this job.
- 1:50:45SPEAKER_09: I think she was stuck in a spot that she couldn't get out of.
- 1:50:48SPEAKER_09: The Democrats needed her.
- 1:50:50SPEAKER_09: She stepped up.
- 1:50:51SPEAKER_09: She's playing the role.
- 1:50:53SPEAKER_09: She'll be viable, don't misunderstand.
- 1:50:55SPEAKER_09: She's got the name ID, but she's not a very likable candidate, in my, in my opinion.
- 1:50:59SPEAKER_09: And again, I don't think she really wants this.
- 1:51:01SPEAKER_09: I don't think she really wants this job.
- 1:51:03SPEAKER_09: And that that's apparent in the way that she is conducting her campaign currently.
- 1:51:07SPEAKER_09: All right, back to the Lindsey Clancy uh issue before we turn our attention over to the several victims, including the police officers that were shot in the active shooter incident in Minneapolis yesterday.
- 1:51:18SPEAKER_09: We have a lot of uh audio to share with you regarding this.
- 1:51:21SPEAKER_30: Good morning, John.
- 1:51:22SPEAKER_30: Uh, the most ironic thing I find about this whole uh claims trial uh just comes down to the fact that we finally have the crazy leftist admitting that there are biological differences between men and women.
- 1:51:40SPEAKER_30: You would not see these arguments for a man.
- 1:51:43SPEAKER_30: And yes, men have committed heinous crimes, and you could argue they were probably crazy.
- 1:51:52SPEAKER_30: Uh just saying.
- 1:51:54SPEAKER_09: No, listen, I I've said as much on the show this morning, and I agree with you, but I I I do want to point out that it won't matter to individuals on the left.
- 1:52:05SPEAKER_09: They don't care that they're hypocrites.
- 1:52:07SPEAKER_09: It doesn't matter.
- 1:52:08SPEAKER_09: The their justification on particular issues, it's a moving target depending on the particular issue.
- 1:52:15SPEAKER_09: Things don't have to line up, they don't have to match, you don't have to exercise common sense.
- 1:52:21SPEAKER_09: It's not necessary if you're on the left.
- 1:52:23SPEAKER_09: You can be as irrational and hypocritical as you want to be.
- 1:52:26SPEAKER_09: And so they'll either ignore that fact that you just mentioned and what I've been saying on the show, that this does absolutely go to expose the biological differences between uh men and women, or they will just say that it's absolutely different in the various cases, despite the fact that you and I both know that that simply isn't the case.
- 1:52:45SPEAKER_38: Good morning.
- 1:52:46SPEAKER_38: Random guy greater in the show here.
- 1:52:48SPEAKER_38: Uh, for the gal that just called in and said her friend couldn't vote Republican because of the ballroom and Trump, they're either idiots or liars, one or the other.
- 1:53:01SPEAKER_38: Because if you can't think just quite what Trump is doing that they don't like, that we would be ten times worse off with Flanagan, OBS, basically any Democrat offline betterman in often, then you're either a moron or you're actually a liberal.
- 1:53:28SPEAKER_38: So that's an excuse if they were my friend, which probably wouldn't be any more, and two, I'd have called them out on it.
- 1:53:37SPEAKER_38: Thank you.
- 1:53:38SPEAKER_09: Thank you for the blast and the blaster line for a voice or text message is 651-964-0294.
- 1:53:48SPEAKER_09: All right, let's get back to um, I want to dive back into the issue uh that we kicked off the show with this morning.
- 1:53:54SPEAKER_09: Made national headlines yesterday, an active shooter incident working off of the alpha news version of the story in downtown Minneapolis resulted in the deaths of three people, including the shooter, and injuries to three police officers, three civilians.
- 1:54:08SPEAKER_09: It occurred in the Loring Towers apartment building where the officers encountered gunfire and uh a haze limiting visibility.
- 1:54:15SPEAKER_09: The shooter has been identified as a Carlton Johnson II, age 35.
- 1:54:19SPEAKER_09: Apparently he was being evicted from his apartment, but one thing that the mainstream media is not covering is that he was only paying$105 a month.
- 1:54:27SPEAKER_09: Taxpayers were shouldering the rest of the burden of whatever the monthly rent is supposed to be in that particular building.
- 1:54:34SPEAKER_09: And there have been individuals online that have actually been sort of quasi-defending this murderer, saying that, ah, obviously he was distraught because he was getting evicted.
- 1:54:45SPEAKER_09: Again, we shouldn't never not be shocked by people that defend murderers while at the same time also recognizing that this is where we are in the country.
- 1:54:55SPEAKER_09: We have become uh a portion of our society has become obsessed and with murdering, as it being a justifiable means of political action or retribution, or as an excuse for flaws of individuals.
- 1:55:12SPEAKER_09: It's a very, very sad uh commentary.
- 1:55:15SPEAKER_09: Here is the uh interim Minneapolis police chief yesterday, right after the events during the first press conference regarding the shooting that took place in downtown Minneapolis.
- 1:55:24SPEAKER_02: Officers followed the sound of gunfire to the upper floor of the building, and on that floor, officers encountered a haze that significantly limited their visibility.
- 1:55:35SPEAKER_02: Three officers were injured, two of those by gunfire.
- 1:55:40SPEAKER_02: The suspected shooter is deceased, and at this time it is unknown how he died.
- 1:55:47SPEAKER_02: Four additional people with apparent gunshot wounds were transported to Hennepin Healthcare HCMC.
- 1:55:54SPEAKER_02: One of those individuals died at the hospital.
- 1:55:58SPEAKER_02: There was one additional individual who died at the scene.
- 1:56:02SPEAKER_02: So, in summary, there were four people transported, one died.
- 1:56:07SPEAKER_02: There is one person who died at the scene, and the suspected shooter is also deceased at the scene.
- 1:56:21SPEAKER_09: I believe one of the uh one of the officers ended up ended up having to go through uh surgery uh shortly after this event.
- 1:56:29SPEAKER_09: He was shot twice in the uh in the stomach.
- 1:56:31SPEAKER_09: Um additional reporting from Channel 5 KSTP uh regarding what uh the officers were faced with in the beginning of this uh incident.
- 1:56:41SPEAKER_09: Lindsay Brown from uh KSTP.
- 1:56:43SPEAKER_62: While people were running out of Loring Towers, Minneapolis police were running inside and they could hear the gunfire.
- 1:56:50SPEAKER_05: I can't emphasize enough how dangerous this situation was and how heroic our officers were in their response.
- 1:56:57SPEAKER_62: Officers arrived to find people trying to escape and shooting victims inside, and they could hear more shooting coming from above, so they went upstairs.
- 1:57:06SPEAKER_62: They walked into a haze so thick on the ninth floor that the police chief says they could barely see, and still they kept going.
- 1:57:14SPEAKER_62: The chief says you can actually hear the gunfire in the background of their radio communications.
- 1:57:20SPEAKER_62: Two of those officers were shot, one in the leg, another twice in the abdomen, a third officer was also hurt.
- 1:57:27SPEAKER_62: All three are expected to recover.
- 1:57:29SPEAKER_62: Tonight, the Minneapolis police chief called what the officers did nothing short of heroic.
- 1:57:37SPEAKER_01: Hey, John, I was just wondering if we figured out if the shooters in Minneapolis had postpartum depression yet or not.
- 1:57:46SPEAKER_09: Right?
- 1:57:47SPEAKER_09: We do know that he apparently was fighting conviction at the various uh at the very apartments where this incident took place.
- 1:57:55SPEAKER_09: Here's more from uh KSDP.
- 1:57:58SPEAKER_07: We now know the name of the Minneapolis shooter and his violent past.
- 1:58:02SPEAKER_07: According to witnesses, he's identified as Carlton Johnson the second.
- 1:58:05SPEAKER_07: And look at this.
- 1:58:06SPEAKER_07: Look at what we're learning.
- 1:58:07SPEAKER_07: This is from court records that I just found.
- 1:58:10SPEAKER_07: He was going through an eviction there at the Loring Towers in Minneapolis, and here's why.
- 1:58:15SPEAKER_07: Look at these reasons.
- 1:58:16SPEAKER_07: Six instances listed disturbing other residents, assaulting a resident, walking around with a gun, obtaining a new gun and saying that he would kill someone.
- 1:58:27SPEAKER_07: Here's what's interesting.
- 1:58:28SPEAKER_07: According to these court records, the landlord agreed to give him a second chance because Johnson, according to the record, said he would comply with the terms of the lease.
- 1:58:38SPEAKER_07: Now something must have happened.
- 1:58:40SPEAKER_07: He was due back in court next week for this eviction process, but there are a lot of questions here about why this second chance was offered to Carlton Johnson.
- 1:58:51SPEAKER_07: Clearly, this is someone who was on the radar of Minneapolis police.
- 1:58:55SPEAKER_09: Yeah, and he's posted, I was seeing social media posts by this uh Carlton Johnson yesterday.
- 1:59:02SPEAKER_09: He's wearing really nice clothing, real nice designer jackets, and carrying around bags of clothing, touting all the stuff that he had purchased and all that.
- 1:59:12SPEAKER_09: And yet he had made a deal with the landlord and was only being charged$105 a month in rent.
- 1:59:47SPEAKER_09: If you want to take part in the show, and thank you to everybody who has already sent in their voice or text message to the blaster line.
- 1:59:55SPEAKER_09: Left us those blasts at 651-964-0294.
- 2:00:00SPEAKER_09: You can also email John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 2:00:03SPEAKER_09: Following um essentially three big stories today, uh, we're gonna be talking with Representative Tom Emmer right around uh 8 30.
- 2:00:09SPEAKER_09: Uh, but following the shooting incident, the active shooter incident in downtown Minneapolis that ended up capturing uh national news for a lot of different reasons.
- 2:00:18SPEAKER_09: Um, a shooting in Minneapolis, the initial reporting that this might have been a bigger event than what had actually happened, make no mistake, this was a big event.
- 2:00:26SPEAKER_09: You did have three officers wounded.
- 2:00:28SPEAKER_09: You had the three individuals killed, including the uh the murderer in this.
- 2:00:33SPEAKER_09: You had an officer having to go through surgery, three civilians wounded.
- 2:00:36SPEAKER_09: I'm not downplaying the shooting at all.
- 2:00:38SPEAKER_09: But the initially, there were a lot of question marks surrounding what was actually transpiring, causing this story to end up gaining um uh to end up gaining national attention uh overnight.
- 2:00:50SPEAKER_09: So there's a few more issues on this that I do want to dive into.
- 2:00:53SPEAKER_09: Uh Crime Watch Minneapolis has further details of this individual, and John Phelan has a post-up this morning at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 2:01:00SPEAKER_09: The mass shooting in Minneapolis shows how wrong Ellison was to back abolishing MPD in 2021.
- 2:01:06SPEAKER_09: The other issues we were talking about, we gave details last hour.
- 2:01:09SPEAKER_09: If you missed it, be sure to check out the podcast.
- 2:01:10SPEAKER_09: But the Department of Justice has moved forward with new policy that basically says states have to turn over any data that they have to illegal aliens in their state or they risk losing uh federal funding on very specific programs.
- 2:01:25SPEAKER_09: This is going to have massive ramifications for the state of Minnesota, especially when you consider driver's licenses for all, and the amount of information that the Minnesota state government has on individuals that they know are here illegally, that they will now have to give to the federal government.
- 2:01:42SPEAKER_09: It'll be very, I'm very curious to see what the response is coming from the governor Dim Wall's administration, Attorney General Thief Ellison, individuals like Mary Moriarty, because remember, they've been pushing back on giving up voter rolls.
- 2:01:56SPEAKER_09: They've been pushing back on giving over this information in the past over fear that they believe ICE will come in and start deporting these illegal aliens.
- 2:02:03SPEAKER_09: So this could have massive, massive ramifications here in Minnesota, especially if Minnesota decides that they will not turn over this information, which I fully expect that that will be the case.
- 2:02:14SPEAKER_09: Something that we're following and did not get a lot of attention yesterday in the wake of the shooting incident that took place.
- 2:02:20SPEAKER_09: Also, we've been talking about for the first time on the show because the controversy surrounding this had reached a point where I felt like I needed to say something.
- 2:02:27SPEAKER_09: I was waiting for the verdict to come in on the Lindsey Clancy uh trial.
- 2:02:33SPEAKER_09: Uh, unfortunately, the jury's been deadlocked over this, even though Clancy admitted to murdering her three children with exercise bans, and the defense itself is blaming post-apardum psychosis.
- 2:02:46SPEAKER_09: But she's developed this cult-like following among women who either one, don't believe her own confession, or two, think that murdering the three children was justified because she was dealing with postpartum depression and psychosis.
- 2:03:00SPEAKER_25: Hey, John, you made a comment earlier about uh at what age would it be okay for women to kill their babies?
- 2:03:06SPEAKER_25: Um, that's a very astute point because if you've ever watched show uh YouTube videos like the abolitionists, when they argue on the street with these women, they try to justify the murder of unborn babies by any means possible, and they dredge up some really weird ones, you know, like it's a it's a parasite, etc.
- 2:03:25SPEAKER_25: So you're not far off.
- 2:03:27SPEAKER_25: That'll be the next step, and you see it with the Lindsay Clancy, and uh they'll just justify it somehow because their minds are broken, they have no God in their life, and uh I think it's actually demonic.
- 2:03:39SPEAKER_25: Have a good day.
- 2:03:40SPEAKER_09: Yeah, listen, I I agree with you.
- 2:03:45SPEAKER_09: It's a crisis in this country right now, and maybe not a conversation uh for this morning in in in uh in the wake of all the different news stories that we have to to cover.
- 2:03:55SPEAKER_09: But uh, you know, I've made no secret of my of my own Christian faith, being raised in a staunch Christian uh household, but really uh coming to terms with my faith later in my adult life and my walk with Jesus Christ.
- 2:04:10SPEAKER_09: But there's there's no doubt that there has been, with the gradual fall-off that we've seen of individuals attending church on a regular basis, putting that on a level of importance as we get further down the generations of families that are no longer participating in this tradition.
- 2:04:29SPEAKER_09: Um, because it used to be in the country that you would have a lot of individuals that would claim to be Christian.
- 2:04:34SPEAKER_09: They weren't really following the word in their everyday life, but they were going to church on a somewhat consistent basis, or even if they just ended up going during the holidays, which is typical for a lot of families.
- 2:04:45SPEAKER_09: We've even gone down the road of that happening less often than it has in the past.
- 2:04:50SPEAKER_09: I bring all that up because there would still be sort of a baseline in the back of people's minds that the God does exist.
- 2:04:56SPEAKER_09: And even though you're not following the word of God, that is still in the back of your head and it does influence, regardless of how little you might be attending church, how little you might be spending time you might be spending in the Bible.
- 2:05:09SPEAKER_09: And even for those individuals who still didn't believe in God, there was a general respect that people had for something like the Ten Commandments.
- 2:05:21SPEAKER_09: I don't believe in the Bible, but you know, those Ten Commandments are solid.
- 2:05:25SPEAKER_09: I can agree with what those Ten Commandments have to say, even though I don't believe in God.
- 2:05:29SPEAKER_09: That has an influence, obviously, on people's, you know, people's mental state, how they go and determine right and wrong.
- 2:05:35SPEAKER_09: Well, we've gotten away from that.
- 2:05:37SPEAKER_09: Why do you think the left has gone out of its way to remove the Ten Commandments from any place visibly within the public square for that very reason alone?
- 2:05:47SPEAKER_09: So now a number of generations out of leftists going and pushing back on having any religious imagery or even something that was widely accepted within, as a societal norm, the tenets of the Ten Commandments, this is where you land.
- 2:06:04SPEAKER_09: Self-centered individuals whose only guiding principles are that of their own.
- 2:06:11SPEAKER_09: And if that's the case, if you are basically your own God, if you're the only person that's deciding what is right and wrong, you can justify anything.
- 2:06:21SPEAKER_09: And it's a byproduct of what we're seeing now, tragically.
- 2:06:25SPEAKER_09: With the case of Lindsey Clancy, those individuals out there that are defending this, it's sad.
- 2:06:30SPEAKER_09: It's sad.
- 2:06:32SPEAKER_09: And I don't know where it goes.
- 2:06:33SPEAKER_09: I I keep, I pray for a revolution in this country, a spiritual awakening.
- 2:06:37SPEAKER_09: I feel like individuals who understand this, and we have seen a resurgence of people that have been, you know, going to church more often.
- 2:06:45SPEAKER_09: And, you know, it's not my intention to Bible thump on the show, but I don't see how there's any disconnect with any of this, regardless of whether or not you believe in God or not.
- 2:06:53SPEAKER_09: We used to be a society that still respected what the Bible preaches, what Jesus preached, even if you didn't believe that it was real.
- 2:07:03SPEAKER_09: You understood it.
- 2:07:04SPEAKER_09: And you were like, Yeah, that's a good baseline of morality.
- 2:07:08SPEAKER_09: Well, the left did a really good job of nuking that.
- 2:07:10SPEAKER_09: And here's where we are.
- 2:07:12SPEAKER_09: I just the image yesterday of a whole bunch of women dressed in pink standing outside the courtroom doing the the signals of hearts with their hands, even carrying children in defense of this murderous mother.
- 2:07:26SPEAKER_09: It's insane.
- 2:07:29SPEAKER_09: And let's just make one more point on this.
- 2:07:30SPEAKER_09: I because uh we had a talk back that came in.
- 2:07:33SPEAKER_09: I'm sorry, a blast.
- 2:07:36SPEAKER_09: Old habits die hard.
- 2:07:37SPEAKER_09: Good morning, uh Isaac.
- 2:07:38SPEAKER_09: Good to see you this morning.
- 2:07:39SPEAKER_47: Good morning.
- 2:07:39SPEAKER_47: Didn't know you'd be preaching absolute heat this morning.
- 2:07:42SPEAKER_09: On occasion, right?
- 2:07:44SPEAKER_47: I love it.
- 2:07:44SPEAKER_09: So good to see you.
- 2:07:45SPEAKER_09: It was one of those moments I've looked over.
- 2:07:47SPEAKER_09: Hey, Isaac's here.
- 2:07:48SPEAKER_09: Devin bailed him and was like, peace out, I'm done.
- 2:07:50SPEAKER_09: No, he had to go, he had to go to his other, he had to go to his other to his other job.
- 2:07:54SPEAKER_09: Uh we had another blast this morning that that that had uh that had mentioned this.
- 2:07:59SPEAKER_09: And and I just want to I just just want to talk about it briefly.
- 2:08:03SPEAKER_09: When it comes to Lindsay Clancy, okay.
- 2:08:05SPEAKER_09: Um she admitted to murdering her three children.
- 2:08:11SPEAKER_09: And I know that there is this um this idea of postpartum psychosis, postpartum depression.
- 2:08:17SPEAKER_09: Uh Melinda went through postpartum depression when our when Logan was born.
- 2:08:22SPEAKER_09: You know, I I remember being in our tiny apartment in Corona, California, you know, with our with our baby Logan, and Melinda was dealing with this.
- 2:08:31SPEAKER_09: I so I I mean I I have firsthand experience of being around a woman who's dealing with postpartum depression.
- 2:08:36SPEAKER_09: I'm not saying it's a it's not a real thing.
- 2:08:38SPEAKER_09: Of course it's a real thing.
- 2:08:40SPEAKER_09: But just take note of the fact that this wasn't even if it was one child, it doesn't matter.
- 2:08:46SPEAKER_09: But this was all three of her kids.
- 2:08:49SPEAKER_09: So you murder the first one?
- 2:08:52SPEAKER_09: It has no impact on you to the point where you went and did it two more times?
- 2:08:59SPEAKER_09: Yeah, there's something evil at work at that point in time.
- 2:09:03SPEAKER_09: Postpartum psychosis or not, it doesn't matter at that point.
- 2:09:08SPEAKER_09: You've obviously reached a level where you no longer regard human life, and yourself and herself included, in this.
- 2:09:16SPEAKER_09: And the fact that people are are defending any of this is just it's it's absolutely mind, you know, mind-boggling.
- 2:09:25SPEAKER_09: Absolutely mind-boggling.
- 2:09:28SPEAKER_09: All right.
- 2:09:28SPEAKER_09: Um, I want to get back to some of uh your thoughts.
- 2:09:31SPEAKER_09: Again, the blaster line is 651-964-0294.
- 2:09:36SPEAKER_09: We will turn our attention back to the shooting uh that took place uh yesterday.
- 2:09:40SPEAKER_09: Uh before we do, though, I want to sneak in a couple of calls uh uh based off of the commentary that I was just providing here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:09:49SPEAKER_43: Morning, John.
- 2:09:50SPEAKER_43: I'm calling about the case about the woman who murdered her children.
- 2:09:54SPEAKER_43: And I'm a mom, I have two kids.
- 2:09:57SPEAKER_43: And first of all, I'm trying to figure out how she even did it because if you ever try to hold on a toddler, it is insane.
- 2:10:04SPEAKER_43: So that is absolutely bizarre that she was able to strangle all three children, especially the older kid.
- 2:10:11SPEAKER_43: And then that's also insane.
- 2:10:13SPEAKER_43: I mean, that is just a very, very, in my opinion, violent way to kill your child.
- 2:10:19SPEAKER_43: And then the other thing is I can see why some people would be wondering how could anybody in their right mind actually do this?
- 2:10:28SPEAKER_43: Because anybody who has children thinks that it's absolutely insane.
- 2:10:33SPEAKER_43: So therefore, the person is insane.
- 2:10:35SPEAKER_43: I personally think she should drop now, but it's just unbelievable what is happening in this country.
- 2:10:42SPEAKER_43: Anyways, have a good day.
- 2:10:44SPEAKER_09: That kind of falls into the category of what I was talking about earlier on the on the show, is that you know it's it's this two things can be true at once.
- 2:10:52SPEAKER_09: You can sit back and go, because I because I can.
- 2:10:54SPEAKER_09: I can see how this can happen.
- 2:10:56SPEAKER_09: You ask the question of how can a mom go and and do this.
- 2:10:59SPEAKER_09: It just seems unbelievable.
- 2:11:00SPEAKER_09: And I'll I'll get to that in just a in just a in just a moment.
- 2:11:04SPEAKER_09: Because I do think that there is not rationalizing it by any stretch, but I think to get into the mentality of an individual making this decision, it's not as far of a as far of a leap as one would go and and believe.
- 2:11:20SPEAKER_09: So the number of women that are defending Lindsey Clancy also shouldn't come as a shock when you're looking at society as a whole, but at the same time, the other thing is true that I hope that we're never not shocked by any of this because it should be uh it should be shocking.
- 2:11:34SPEAKER_09: It should be distressing.
- 2:11:37SPEAKER_09: There's various degrees of right and wrong for people.
- 2:11:41SPEAKER_09: Things that people would never go and do that you think that they would never go and do.
- 2:11:46SPEAKER_09: It's not that far of a jump and a leap in logic based off of the mentality that gets put out into the public over other issues that a woman would eventually go and decide that life wasn't worth living and she was going to take her children.
- 2:12:00SPEAKER_09: Out as well.
- 2:12:02SPEAKER_09: First off, just going back to what I said before, if you don't have God in your life, if you don't think there's any purpose in life, and I don't know what the religious background of this individual was, but I'm gonna venture a guess as she probably didn't have a very strong religious background.
- 2:12:14SPEAKER_09: And if you don't, then what's the purpose in all of it?
- 2:12:19SPEAKER_09: I mean, even if it's not the Bible, just to have a belief beyond yourself, if you don't have that, what's the point of why you're here?
- 2:12:31SPEAKER_09: And so if that's where you're operating from as a human being, it's not that big of a leap.
- 2:12:37SPEAKER_09: Even though you wouldn't do it, I wouldn't do it, Isaac wouldn't do it, nobody in the building would go and do it.
- 2:12:41SPEAKER_09: Y'all think it's crazy.
- 2:12:44SPEAKER_09: But it's not that big of a leap to consider that somebody would just, well, there's no purpose to all of this.
- 2:12:51SPEAKER_09: Then what does it matter?
- 2:12:53SPEAKER_09: It's tragic, it's sad, and it's and it's evil.
- 2:13:00SPEAKER_35: I uh, you know, I'm agnostic and I feel like I have a really great morality.
- 2:13:06SPEAKER_35: Uh so I don't think it's necessary for everyone, but the more time goes on, I I do really think religion is necessary for most people to have a good morality.
- 2:13:16SPEAKER_35: And uh I, you know, I don't know what to say about that.
- 2:13:19SPEAKER_35: I just it just seems to be the reality of the world.
- 2:13:22SPEAKER_09: Yeah, no, listen, I I I I agree with you, and and I want to make some things clear.
- 2:13:28SPEAKER_09: You can be an atheist and still have a good moral compass.
- 2:13:32SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 2:13:33SPEAKER_09: I have friends that are atheists.
- 2:13:35SPEAKER_09: No, I can tell you that my friend who's an atheist, personally from my perspective, not living his best life.
- 2:13:44SPEAKER_09: He's had, you know, a failed marriage.
- 2:13:47SPEAKER_09: He's just kind of floating through life, seems a bit direct directionless.
- 2:13:52SPEAKER_09: Great guy.
- 2:13:52SPEAKER_09: We've been lifelong friends.
- 2:13:54SPEAKER_09: I pray for him all the time.
- 2:13:56SPEAKER_09: But this is not an individual.
- 2:13:58SPEAKER_09: He he he's living his best life, but make no mistake, he he's not he doesn't have kids, he got a vasectomy from a very early age, so he doesn't have any kids to to latch on to.
- 2:14:08SPEAKER_09: This is not, and he's dealt with his own personal uh demons and and issues, which isn't a a huge surprise.
- 2:14:14SPEAKER_09: So just because you don't have God in your life doesn't mean that you're suddenly an evil person.
- 2:14:18SPEAKER_09: But that being said, for the majority of individuals, and especially the people that we're talking about on the show on a number of different issues, the lack of having anything else in your life, the leaps in logic that one can go and make, especially in a world that becomes increasingly less likely to go and hold people accountable, where you see individuals like Luigi Mangioni with his sycophant and fans, or people that said it was justified in him murdering that United Healthcare CEO because they had determined that he was an evil, awful, horrible individual, denying people of healthcare coverage.
- 2:14:54SPEAKER_09: People come up with any excuses that they that they want, perpetuated by the social contagion of what they're being fed online as well, that feeds into and fills up that empty hole that they are walking around with.
- 2:15:11SPEAKER_09: All right, let's go here.
- 2:15:12SPEAKER_56: My mother-in-law always said, if you respect life, the rest will follow.
- 2:15:17SPEAKER_56: And she's 100% right.
- 2:15:20SPEAKER_56: Now we accept abortion, we accept abortion up until birth, we accept abortion even after birth, in case you can acceptable forms of ending a life, um, and education.
- 2:15:46SPEAKER_56: If she did respect her own life, you have to take herself.
- 2:15:49SPEAKER_56: So she had her shape of what was acceptable killing and what wasn't, regardless of whether or not she was having postpartum depression or crazy.
- 2:16:00SPEAKER_56: She still had the ability to draw the line and save her own life.
- 2:16:05SPEAKER_56: She should not be allowed to be among the rest of us in society.
- 2:16:11SPEAKER_56: She should pay for that crime.
- 2:16:13SPEAKER_09: Thank you for the comment.
- 2:16:14SPEAKER_09: If you want to leave a voice or text message, you can do so on the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 2:16:21SPEAKER_09: Uh, Crime Watch Minneapolis has a lengthy thread based off of the mass shooting that took place uh yesterday.
- 2:16:27SPEAKER_09: Eviction papers were filed against Carlton Johnson II, age 35, against him and all the occupants of his unit at the Loring Towers in late June.
- 2:16:38SPEAKER_09: Court filings indicated that Johnson made concerning gun threats to security and others and flashed a gun in his waistband on multiple occasions, had a history of prior drug and domestic arrests, so it raises the question of whether or not this individual should have been off the street a long time ago.
- 2:16:54SPEAKER_09: As CrimeWatch Minneapolis writes on X, this leech from Chicago was paying$105 a month in rent to live downtown in Minneapolis at Loring Towers, and you were paying the rest.
- 2:17:06SPEAKER_09: We don't have a housing shortage problem.
- 2:17:08SPEAKER_09: We have a loser leech problem.
- 2:17:10SPEAKER_09: I tend to agree.
- 2:17:12SPEAKER_09: John Phelan writes at AmericanExperiment.org this morning.
- 2:17:16SPEAKER_09: The mass shooting in Minneapolis shows how wrong Ellison was to back abolishing MPD in 2021.
- 2:17:22SPEAKER_09: I'll bring you the details on that.
- 2:17:23SPEAKER_09: We'll get back to more of your thoughts, your texts and voice messages to the blaster line.
- 2:17:27SPEAKER_09: And if you want to email John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org, Representative Tom Emmer joins the show at 8 30.
- 2:17:35SPEAKER_09: Don't go anywhere.
- 2:17:36SPEAKER_52: And now here is commentary from the guests, hosts, and policy fellows of American Experiment.
- 2:17:41SPEAKER_55: I don't think any other state has this besides Minnesota.
- 2:17:44SPEAKER_55: We're, okay, number one, you can vouch for up to eight people.
- 2:17:46SPEAKER_55: Yeah.
- 2:17:46SPEAKER_55: But then we also have same-day election uh registration.
- 2:17:49SPEAKER_55: And we don't have provisional ballots.
- 2:17:51SPEAKER_55: So those elements all combine together.
- 2:17:53SPEAKER_55: You don't other states that have same-day voter registration have a provisional ballot.
- 2:17:57SPEAKER_55: And so when you register to vote, typically if you're doing it in advance, you know, your your registration is checked so that when you actually go to vote on election day, you've been vetted by the state in some way.
- 2:18:07SPEAKER_55: Um but when you have same-day registration, obviously there's not time for that to happen.
- 2:18:11SPEAKER_55: And so your vote gets counted immediately.
- 2:18:13SPEAKER_55: It gets put into the pool and it's never coming back out.
- 2:18:15SPEAKER_55: Other states, they will have same-day registrants use a what's called a provisional ballot.
- 2:18:20SPEAKER_55: So, you know, they they cast their vote, but it's set off aside, and it's not actually added into the mix until their registration has been verified, which makes sense.
- 2:18:29SPEAKER_55: You know, Minnesota doesn't have that.
- 2:18:30SPEAKER_67: Let your voice be heard on the John Justice show by leaving a text or voice message blast and call the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 2:18:39SPEAKER_67: That's 651-964-0294.
- 2:18:42SPEAKER_63: Think about it.
- 2:18:43SPEAKER_63: Black and Hispanic students in Mississippi perform better in reading and math than black and Hispanic students in Minnesota.
- 2:18:50SPEAKER_63: And Mississippi spends thousands of dollars less per student than Minnesota.
- 2:18:54SPEAKER_63: Mississippi spends less money, gets better results, and their achievement gaps are closing.
- 2:19:00SPEAKER_63: While ours are getting worse.
- 2:19:01SPEAKER_63: Think about it.
- 2:19:02SPEAKER_63: It's time for real education reform so Minnesota can catch up to Mississippi.
- 2:19:07SPEAKER_63: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's Think Tank.
- 2:19:12SPEAKER_54: So Scott Pressler, he's a conservative activist, he posted on X that he also did some of these data requests.
- 2:19:18SPEAKER_54: And he was told that in St.
- 2:19:19SPEAKER_54: Louis County, which is the home of Duluth, 737 people registered to vote through vouching.
- 2:19:26SPEAKER_54: 737.
- 2:19:28SPEAKER_54: So let's go back to the 2022 election really quick just to see if we can get a clear example of okay, will that number of people vouching ever really matter?
- 2:19:37SPEAKER_54: It seems like a small number.
- 2:19:39SPEAKER_54: Well, in 2022, in the Cottage Grove Hastings area, Democrat Judy Seeburger won her state Senate election by 321 votes.
- 2:19:48SPEAKER_54: As our listeners may remember, the Democrats held the Senate that year by one seat.
- 2:19:54SPEAKER_52: Support the John Justice show by becoming an advertiser.
- 2:19:57SPEAKER_52: For more information, email john.justice at AmericaneExperiment.org.
- 2:20:03SPEAKER_09: It is a John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:20:06SPEAKER_09: Glad you're with us this morning.
- 2:20:08SPEAKER_09: About uh 10 minutes from now, Representative Tom Emmer will be uh joining us.
- 2:20:12SPEAKER_09: And I know that I I I had asked, and maybe I was a little bit uh premature on this.
- 2:20:18SPEAKER_09: I had asked if you leave uh, especially a text, right?
- 2:20:21SPEAKER_09: This is more applicable to text than it is a voice message on the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 2:20:28SPEAKER_09: But I had asked that, hey, if um when you leave a text to make sure it's relevant to the show and try not to spam me with links or or gifts or memes and stuff, right?
- 2:20:38SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 2:20:39SPEAKER_09: I did get a great meme though, and I need to share it with you.
- 2:20:42SPEAKER_09: I did in my uh rant on the slippery slope earlier in the show.
- 2:20:46SPEAKER_09: If you missed it, be sure to check out the podcast.
- 2:20:48SPEAKER_09: That'll be available after the show on the MixLR uh app or across whatever podcast platform you typically listen to podcasts on.
- 2:20:54SPEAKER_09: Although you really should just be listening to this show.
- 2:20:56SPEAKER_09: It's the only one you need here in Minnesota.
- 2:20:58SPEAKER_09: Just want to say that.
- 2:20:59SPEAKER_09: You can do also do a rewatch of the show at Center of the American Experiment, Facebook, and uh YouTube.
- 2:21:04SPEAKER_09: Uh, but I received this uh this meme, and it's a series, it's uh it's a slippery slope meme, and it basically shows a progression of women down a hill.
- 2:21:13SPEAKER_09: The first one it says, it says the slippery slope, and then the first one that says you can't kill the unborn.
- 2:21:21SPEAKER_09: The second one says, Safe and legal are rare regarding abortions.
- 2:21:25SPEAKER_09: The next one says 16 weeks at the latest with regard to abortion.
- 2:21:31SPEAKER_09: And then you have straight up until for full-term abortion, you are here, and it's a picture of Lindsay Clancy.
- 2:21:39SPEAKER_09: This was the inevitable conclusion of the line of logic from those who support those heinous efforts.
- 2:21:50SPEAKER_09: It's tragic, it's sad, but it's the truth.
- 2:21:53SPEAKER_09: All right, getting back to the mass shooting that took place uh yesterday that garnered so much national uh media coverage.
- 2:21:59SPEAKER_09: John Phelan writes this morning at Center of the American Experiment.
- 2:22:02SPEAKER_09: The 2021 proposal to abolish the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a doing that thing with my fingers.
- 2:22:08SPEAKER_09: Haven't done that in a while.
- 2:22:09SPEAKER_09: Department of Public Safety was defeated.
- 2:22:12SPEAKER_09: The recent mass shooting in Minneapolis demonstrates the importance of MPD and the misguidedness of that proposal.
- 2:22:21SPEAKER_09: So Governor Jim Walls yesterday put out a post, Pray for Minneapolis, Pray for Minnesota.
- 2:22:27SPEAKER_09: City of Minneapolis posted online the department, the police department was on the scene of the shooting.
- 2:22:34SPEAKER_09: Approximately 4:36 p.m.
- 2:22:36SPEAKER_09: yesterday, MPD officers were dispatched to the apartment complex.
- 2:22:41SPEAKER_09: You had further posts from the city of Minneapolis about the officers arriving on the scene, going in and exchanging gunfire, encountering the victims.
- 2:22:51SPEAKER_09: On that floor, officers encountered a haze that significantly limited their visibility.
- 2:22:57SPEAKER_09: Three officers were injured, two of them by gunfire.
- 2:22:59SPEAKER_09: The city of Minneapolis continued to post online the three officers taken to Hennepin healthcare.
- 2:23:05SPEAKER_09: One officer is sustaining an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
- 2:23:09SPEAKER_09: One officer was undergoing surgery.
- 2:23:11SPEAKER_09: I believe that that was the officer that was shot twice in his stomach.
- 2:23:14SPEAKER_09: And then the third officer was being evaluated for an apparent non-life-threatening injury.
- 2:23:19SPEAKER_09: And I believe that was stemming from the automobile accident that uh took place uh earlier as a law enforcement officer with Minneapolis police was on their way to the apartment complex.
- 2:23:30SPEAKER_09: They also posted the suspected shooter was deceased.
- 2:23:34SPEAKER_09: The individual was being uh transported to Hennepenny Healthcare.
- 2:23:37SPEAKER_09: One individual died at the scene as well.
- 2:23:40SPEAKER_09: John Phelan then writes this These events illustrate the bravery of the average first responder, ordered into a potentially lethal situation, putting their lives on the line to protect the public.
- 2:23:53SPEAKER_09: They also illustrate just how insane the 2021 proposal to abolish the Minneapolis Police Department was and how horribly misguided Attorney General Keith Ellison was to give the proposal his full-throated support.
- 2:24:10SPEAKER_09: In November that year, question two went before the voters of Minneapolis.
- 2:24:16SPEAKER_09: If passed, it would have abolished MPD and replaced it with something called the Department of Public Safety.
- 2:24:22SPEAKER_09: According to Ballotpedia, while all of Minneapolis, that's a political action committee, all of MPLS opposed question two, opposed to question two, received$1.5 million.
- 2:24:37SPEAKER_09: Yes, for Minneapolis, the group which proposed the ballot initiative received$4.85 million, including$750,000 from the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors,$650,000 from the Open Society Policy Center, you know what that is,$625,000 from Reclaim the Block.
- 2:25:00SPEAKER_09: Officials that supported the measure included U.S.
- 2:25:03SPEAKER_09: Representative Ilhan Omar and Attorney General Thief Ellison.
- 2:25:10SPEAKER_09: Indeed, Keith Ellison, then serving as Attorney General of Minnesota, supported the effort to abolish the police department.
- 2:25:17SPEAKER_09: He posted, I've read the uh Minneapolis ballot question two carefully, the proposed change to city charter charter to create a department of public safety.
- 2:25:25SPEAKER_09: I've weighed both what it actually does and what it doesn't do, despite what some say.
- 2:25:30SPEAKER_09: I'll have more about that soon.
- 2:25:32SPEAKER_09: He went on to write fundamentally, communities across Minneapolis need and want the responsibility for reform and accountability, which the current charter blocks by locking us into an outdated model for law enforcement safety.
- 2:25:47SPEAKER_09: They want to end the cycle of inaction.
- 2:25:52SPEAKER_09: He went on to say this year, residents of Minneapolis have asked for and can take the first step of action on the ballot.
- 2:26:00SPEAKER_09: As a resident of Minneapolis, where George Floyd's murder, rights Ellison, sparked a national call for real reform.
- 2:26:06SPEAKER_09: I will vote yes for the greater public safety and more human rights for all.
- 2:26:11SPEAKER_09: Yes for Minneapolis.
- 2:26:12SPEAKER_09: He supported the effort.
- 2:26:17SPEAKER_09: John Phelan wraps his piece up saying, Fortunately, those in Minnesota knew better, and question two was defeated.
- 2:26:24SPEAKER_09: Today's shocking events and the historic, excuse me, heroic actions of those MPD officers show that they got it right when it mattered.
- 2:26:35SPEAKER_09: The amount of coverage that this event received, it tells you volumes of the perception of Minneapolis, of Minnesota, to those in the out on the outside.
- 2:26:49SPEAKER_09: This got a ton of coverage because you had an officer-involved shooting, may have been an active shooting situation.
- 2:26:55SPEAKER_09: And as I mentioned at the start of the show, I was scratching my head a little bit because as somebody that looks at all of these stories every single day, I can tell you firsthand that, you know, seeing murders, seeing officer-involved shootings, it it's not uncommon by any stretch at all.
- 2:27:18SPEAKER_09: There were stories this week of indiv three different individuals that were murdered uh inside of a home.
- 2:27:25SPEAKER_09: Shootings that take place almost daily, stories that I don't cover because it would just be redundant, unnecessary to the larger issues that we talk about concerning the city of Minneapolis.
- 2:27:36SPEAKER_09: And yet from the outside of Minneapolis, the reason why this got so much coverage is because of everything that I just mentioned.
- 2:27:44SPEAKER_09: Especially when we were just a year out and there was an abundance of coverage over the one-year anniversary of the shooting that took place at Annunciation as well.
- 2:27:53SPEAKER_09: So I again I was kind of going, why is this getting so much attention?
- 2:27:56SPEAKER_09: And as the details unfolded, I began to understand more that there was a lot of confusion heading into this event.
- 2:28:03SPEAKER_09: They didn't know if this was still going on.
- 2:28:05SPEAKER_09: There was some early reporting that it could have been multiple individuals involved in this mass shooting, not just one individual on this one floor.
- 2:28:12SPEAKER_09: But it does, it speaks volumes as to the perception that people have of many, specific, specifically Minneapolis outside of the state of Minnesota.
- 2:28:24SPEAKER_09: And there's justifiable reason why people, again, have that, have that perception.
- 2:28:29SPEAKER_09: If you want to continue to get your uh thoughts in, you can do so via the uh blaster line.
- 2:28:35SPEAKER_09: Uh that number is uh 651-964-0294.
- 2:28:40SPEAKER_09: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 2:28:46SPEAKER_09: And we'll get some more of your thoughts, your voice and text messages coming up.
- 2:28:49SPEAKER_09: But right now, very pleased to uh welcome to the show Representative Tom Emmer.
- 2:28:54SPEAKER_09: Tom Emmer, it's good to see you this morning, sir.
- 2:28:56SPEAKER_09: Thank you so much for joining uh joining the show.
- 2:28:58SPEAKER_04: Good to be with you, John.
- 2:29:00SPEAKER_09: Boy, uh, we were just talking about the events that unfolded yesterday, making national news in downtown Minneapolis, and our continued prayers go out to the law enforcement officers and the victims that were affected uh by this yesterday, Tom.
- 2:29:12SPEAKER_09: And I was just mentioning how uh I was a little taken aback by this receiving national news coverage when I first saw the story, only because, Tom, um daily we see stories of shootings, officer-involved incidents in downtown Minneapolis, and this just kind of seemed unfortunately like par for the course.
- 2:29:30SPEAKER_09: I understand based off of the details of why this was receiving national attention.
- 2:29:34SPEAKER_09: Uh, that being said, this isn't uncommon, regardless of the fact that this particular story made national news, but it was tragic nonetheless, and we pray for the officers and their heroic efforts uh yesterday.
- 2:29:45SPEAKER_09: Your thoughts on what transpired uh in Minneapolis yesterday, Tom?
- 2:29:49SPEAKER_04: Well, first off, uh it's just talk about the incident.
- 2:29:53SPEAKER_04: Uh you have uh three police officers who uh uh sustained injuries.
- 2:29:58SPEAKER_04: Thankfully, they don't appear to be life-threatening.
- 2:30:01SPEAKER_04: You had uh uh people who uh did lose their life in this incident.
- 2:30:06SPEAKER_04: Apparently it came from a uh allegedly it came from an eviction or a uh an eviction that was in process with uh a uh a tenant who was being evicted, who has a long history of uh uh criminal activity.
- 2:30:23SPEAKER_04: Uh and you know, I'm not saying this is the case, John, but uh God forbid that we find out that this guy was released over and over again by uh, for instance, Mary Moriarty, who seems to care more about criminals than she does about the victims that they uh that they create.
- 2:30:46SPEAKER_04: Uh and I I would just add that what really bothers me about this, this is why we have to get back to supporting the men and the women who wear the uniform every single day.
- 2:30:59SPEAKER_04: Those uh officers left that morning home.
- 2:31:03SPEAKER_04: I they probably are married, they probably have kids, they went out to protect us, and they almost uh uh had the ultimate sacrifice, which would have been the same thing for their families, John.
- 2:31:15SPEAKER_04: And you know what?
- 2:31:16SPEAKER_04: You gotta stop the hate cop rhetoric.
- 2:31:20SPEAKER_04: Uh we got to have Keith Ellison, we got to have Tim Walls, we got to have these uh prosecutors get back to enforcing the rule of law and recognizing that these uh are not only very important public servants for our safety, our community safety, but they're our neighbors, John.
- 2:31:38SPEAKER_04: They're our neighbors.
- 2:31:39SPEAKER_04: Their kids go to school with our kids, we go to church with them.
- 2:31:43SPEAKER_04: Let's celebrate these uh people.
- 2:31:46SPEAKER_04: And maybe, maybe uh we can, if we're enforcing the law, maybe we can make sure that uh uh tragedies like this don't happen because people who are inclined to commit a crime like this, uh uh such a horrific act are actually behind bars or getting the treatment that they need.
- 2:32:03SPEAKER_04: I but we don't know yet, we don't know enough of the details.
- 2:32:06SPEAKER_04: And you and I have talked about tragedies in the past.
- 2:32:09SPEAKER_04: I don't typically get ahead of the uh facts, but I couldn't help seeing exactly what you did.
- 2:32:15SPEAKER_04: I mean, Minnesota in the news, and more importantly, Minneapolis in the news for uh this type of a shooting?
- 2:32:24SPEAKER_04: What why us?
- 2:32:26SPEAKER_09: I have a number of different things that I want to uh discuss with you this morning.
- 2:32:29SPEAKER_09: Uh, we've been talking about this story as well.
- 2:32:31SPEAKER_09: It got it got buried in the wake of the breaking news yesterday.
- 2:32:35SPEAKER_09: I imagine there'll be commentary today.
- 2:32:36SPEAKER_09: I haven't heard from any state officials over their response, but the DOJ moving forward with this new policy requiring states to turn over any information that they have regarding um uh illegal uh individuals in the state, undocumented uh immigrants in the state to DHS, or they risk funding to particular uh programs.
- 2:32:57SPEAKER_09: Uh we know the Minnesota's gonna have a lot of information to hand over.
- 2:33:01SPEAKER_09: They're gonna risk losing funding, especially when you look at um DFL initiatives like driver's licenses for all.
- 2:33:07SPEAKER_09: So um I await to see what the response is from the Walls administration and others regarding this.
- 2:33:14SPEAKER_09: But what are your thoughts on this uh move to withhold potential funding to programs for states that um do not turn over uh data relating to those that would be illegal in their particular states?
- 2:33:25SPEAKER_04: Well, we we have a uh a system that's based on a concept of federalism, right?
- 2:33:30SPEAKER_04: Uh we believe in states' rights, we believe the states are allowed to govern themselves, they should.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_04: Uh, but when we're talking about national security, when we're talking about uh our election process, uh when we're talking about uh just protection of American citizens from those who are here illegally that might cause them harm, uh the federal government has tried, tried to get the information that it needs to deal with these uh uh illegal.
- 2:34:00SPEAKER_04: Uh, people and uh states like Minnesota, which Tim Walls, you might remember, he tried to come to Washington and say, we are not a sanctuary state.
- 2:34:09SPEAKER_04: Tim, you have created a sanctuary state.
- 2:34:12SPEAKER_04: You are a sanctuary state.
- 2:34:15SPEAKER_04: You thumb your nose at the federal authority every chance you get.
- 2:34:19SPEAKER_04: I this is just the federal government doing what it needs to do to protect all of America.
- 2:34:25SPEAKER_04: I if you don't want to cooperate, John, I mean, who, where does it say in the Constitution that you're entitled to all kinds of federal funds that are collected from taxpayers across the country, uh, especially when you refuse to uh enforce uh federal laws on immigration?
- 2:34:44SPEAKER_04: So uh it's uh by the way, I think there's either a court case or there's an opinion that just came out within the last couple of days that says the uh, or within the last week, that says the Trump administration, uh specifically the DOJ, whoever's in the office, they can do this.
- 2:35:02SPEAKER_04: If you do not want to uh uh abide by work with the federal government to provide the information they need, then they don't have to send you federal funds.
- 2:35:12SPEAKER_04: So I think it would behoove uh Tim Walls is, you know, he's a lame duck loser.
- 2:35:18SPEAKER_04: He's on his way out.
- 2:35:20SPEAKER_04: Uh I think people that care about it uh need to get him to get over himself.
- 2:35:24SPEAKER_04: Uh and let's make sure that the uh the feds, it doesn't have to be the DOJ.
- 2:35:30SPEAKER_04: Why doesn't why don't you give Mehmet Oz the information he's asking for?
- 2:35:34SPEAKER_04: Why don't you give whatever the agency is the information they're asking for?
- 2:35:39SPEAKER_04: The DOJ, the information that they need.
- 2:35:42SPEAKER_04: If you're gonna get federal funds for law enforcement, John, well, then you should actually support federal law enforcement, right?
- 2:35:51SPEAKER_09: Absolutely.
- 2:35:52SPEAKER_09: Uh absolutely.
- 2:35:53SPEAKER_09: Uh I was glad to see this move, by the way.
- 2:35:55SPEAKER_09: Um, I am uh I am not uh optimistic at the response of what the state is gonna be to this, but we'll we'll wait and see what they have uh what they have to say.
- 2:36:04SPEAKER_09: I uh uh Tom, I want to add something to our previous conversation.
- 2:36:07SPEAKER_09: I just received uh further uh details on uh the background of this alleged shooter.
- 2:36:12SPEAKER_09: And apparently going back to 2011, according to Liz Collin and Alpha News, uh this particular individual had cases involving domestic abuse, domestic assault, um, drug paraphernalia and purchases.
- 2:36:26SPEAKER_09: Uh and again, this would be the shooter involved uh yesterday.
- 2:36:29SPEAKER_09: And I just wanted to add that in light of the comments that you made um before regarding that revolving door of criminality that I talk about so often here on the show.
- 2:36:37SPEAKER_09: Was this an individual that shouldn't have even been on the streets?
- 2:36:40SPEAKER_09: Remains to be seen, but clearly he had a criminal background, uh, Representative Tom Emmer.
- 2:36:45SPEAKER_04: Uh not surprising.
- 2:36:46SPEAKER_04: And uh it happened in Minneapolis.
- 2:36:48SPEAKER_04: So the next thing I'd like to know is was the Hennebank County Attorney's Office ever involved with this uh this individual?
- 2:36:56SPEAKER_04: Uh look, there's another thing we got a problem with, John, that you haven't even brought up.
- 2:37:00SPEAKER_04: But our media in the Twin Cities is it just doesn't do the job.
- 2:37:05SPEAKER_04: Uh you got the Star Tribune complaining about uh somebody who's uh openly calling for the assassination of our president.
- 2:37:14SPEAKER_04: Uh they're saying, oh, it's not fair to dox this guy.
- 2:37:16SPEAKER_04: The Star Tribune doxes police officers every chance they get.
- 2:37:21SPEAKER_04: More importantly, I want you to go back because you it just reminded me of the case that was uh decided that was all in the news like two, three weeks ago, that a federal district court judge in uh Minnesota determined that the Trump administration is not entitled to the voting records that they have requested, right?
- 2:37:40SPEAKER_04: The uh the uh federal government asked Steve Simon in Minnesota to provide them essentially with their homework.
- 2:37:47SPEAKER_04: Minnesota administers the federal elections, okay?
- 2:37:51SPEAKER_04: The federal government's asking Steve to provide his homework.
- 2:37:56SPEAKER_04: He's refusing.
- 2:37:57SPEAKER_04: He has forced them to sue him, and they reported they lost.
- 2:38:04SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 2:38:04SPEAKER_04: Nobody reported, John, and I bring it up because they talk about doxing and all this stuff, which they do to law enforcement.
- 2:38:11SPEAKER_04: Has anybody bothered to look at the judge, the district court judge who made this decision?
- 2:38:17SPEAKER_04: She is a Biden appointee from 2021.
- 2:38:22SPEAKER_04: By the way, her background, she was a law clerk and an adjunct law professor.
- 2:38:30SPEAKER_04: She, before she was appointed to the federal bench, had never tried a case, had never represented a client, had never actually done anything in the real world when it comes to uh the legal system, the law.
- 2:38:44SPEAKER_04: And she's making this decision.
- 2:38:47SPEAKER_04: I mean, this is how you lose your credibility, not just as the justice system, but as the worthless reporting that we get in uh the twin cities.
- 2:38:56SPEAKER_04: Thank God for uh Liz, thank God for you, and people that'll at least sound the alarm.
- 2:39:02SPEAKER_09: Well, and I was talking about this earlier uh earlier as we continue our discussion with Representative Tom Emmer.
- 2:39:07SPEAKER_09: You know, if we have a, you know, the left likes to use uh systemic a lot when it comes to various narratives they want to put forward to push back on Republicans.
- 2:39:15SPEAKER_09: If we we do have systemic problems, but they're not the ones the left points out to.
- 2:39:19SPEAKER_09: We have a systemic problem of activist judges in this country, just as you mentioned.
- 2:39:23SPEAKER_09: There was another judge that ended up going and blocking President Donald Trump's latest move regarding birthright citizenship.
- 2:39:29SPEAKER_09: And I have no doubt that this is gonna get kicked up to a higher court and it'll probably end up being overturned.
- 2:39:35SPEAKER_09: But these judges, they want their five minutes of fame.
- 2:39:37SPEAKER_09: They want to sit in their social circles with their other buddies saying, look at what we did to Trump.
- 2:39:41SPEAKER_09: It's pure activism, in my opinion, Tom.
- 2:39:43SPEAKER_09: So you're spot on with that.
- 2:39:45SPEAKER_04: Well, and I I've actually seen it firsthand because before I did this job, I actually practiced law.
- 2:39:51SPEAKER_04: And I'll give you an example.
- 2:39:52SPEAKER_04: I go into uh uh Hannibal County District Court.
- 2:39:56SPEAKER_04: There'd be judges appointed by Rudy Purpich, they'd be a Democrat governor of the state of Minnesota, judges appointed by Tim Paulenia, a Republican governor of Minnesota.
- 2:40:05SPEAKER_04: And John, these uh judges, these men and women were experienced in the practice of law.
- 2:40:11SPEAKER_04: They had represented clients, they had uh literally worked in the courtroom as a lawyer, not a clerk, right?
- 2:40:19SPEAKER_04: They're not like writing uh motions and such.
- 2:40:22SPEAKER_04: Guess what?
- 2:40:23SPEAKER_04: I never felt once like it was a Democrat or a Republican.
- 2:40:28SPEAKER_04: They were a judicial officer that was administering the law as fairly as they could.
- 2:40:32SPEAKER_04: I didn't always agree with decisions, but it it didn't smack of uh partisanship.
- 2:40:39SPEAKER_04: These, I mean, I'm sorry, but I looked at all the different outlets to try and figure out what judge would actually say the federal government is not entitled to see your homework to make sure that it was uh being done in accordance with the law and that it's fair and transparent.
- 2:40:59SPEAKER_04: By the way, she also brought in the Civil Rights Act.
- 2:41:03SPEAKER_04: How does that apply, John?
- 2:41:06SPEAKER_04: It's just insane.
- 2:41:07SPEAKER_04: And nobody in Minnesota, with very limited, I pointed out Liz and you, very limited, no one will point these absurdities out.
- 2:41:17SPEAKER_09: No, you're absolutely right.
- 2:41:19SPEAKER_09: And uh, if they did, I think that we would have a much um a much different outcome when it comes to our elections if people were actually given the the proper information.
- 2:41:27SPEAKER_09: Before I let you go this morning, uh talking with House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, um let's uh uh thoughts on two different things.
- 2:41:33SPEAKER_09: Uh, we had John Feeling from American Experiment on um a couple of weeks ago, and he was expressing his concern over the uh over the national debt.
- 2:41:41SPEAKER_09: I know you've been talking about this recently.
- 2:41:43SPEAKER_09: I know it's one of the GOP priorities.
- 2:41:46SPEAKER_09: Can you talk a little bit about that?
- 2:41:47SPEAKER_09: And the other aspect that I want to mention too is um, you know, your colleagues over in the Senate.
- 2:41:51SPEAKER_09: We've talked about it a lot.
- 2:41:53SPEAKER_09: Congress getting back to work at the Save Act.
- 2:41:55SPEAKER_09: Um so talk about the GOP priorities relating to the national debt, but also the future and the possibility of the Save Act actually moving forward.
- 2:42:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well, first on the national debt.
- 2:42:05SPEAKER_04: That that's why I came here.
- 2:42:06SPEAKER_04: And I I feel like we've been running up the down escalator ever since I got here.
- 2:42:12SPEAKER_04: Frankly, probably before I got here.
- 2:42:14SPEAKER_04: It wasn't until Donald J.
- 2:42:15SPEAKER_04: Trump and that big, beautiful bill.
- 2:42:18SPEAKER_04: We made the largest cuts in the history of uh of the republic.
- 2:42:24SPEAKER_04: Guess what, John?
- 2:42:25SPEAKER_04: I said this the other day, and and one of the guys that I played hockey with in college emailed me and said, that's a new one that I haven't heard.
- 2:42:32SPEAKER_04: I've been using it for years.
- 2:42:33SPEAKER_04: This is like spit on a hot tar road in the middle of July.
- 2:42:37SPEAKER_04: I mean, you're talking about$40 trillion in debt.
- 2:42:40SPEAKER_04: Oh, whoo, they cut$2.5 trillion over the next 10 years.
- 2:42:44SPEAKER_04: Ooh.
- 2:42:45SPEAKER_04: No, that's just the beginning.
- 2:42:48SPEAKER_04: I literally, we're gonna be uh graced after we win these midterms with a president who is beholden to no one.
- 2:42:57SPEAKER_04: And he has made it very clear that this is the priority.
- 2:43:02SPEAKER_04: Uh, it's not just about more efficient government, rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.
- 2:43:07SPEAKER_04: Uh, this is about making sure that we we uh protect this republic uh for generations to come and not saddle our children and grandchildren and others with our own debt from today.
- 2:43:19SPEAKER_04: So the the job is far from done.
- 2:43:23SPEAKER_04: But we showed the will to be able to do it before a midterm.
- 2:43:28SPEAKER_04: I they want to make a big deal out of it.
- 2:43:30SPEAKER_04: You hear these Democrats going, oh, they cut snap.
- 2:43:34SPEAKER_04: Really?
- 2:43:34SPEAKER_04: What we did is we tightened up work requirements so the states could no longer give illegal aliens food stamps.
- 2:43:44SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 2:43:44SPEAKER_04: I that that saved us$600 billion over 10 years.
- 2:43:50SPEAKER_04: So you think it's not a problem on Medicaid?
- 2:43:53SPEAKER_04: We did the same thing.
- 2:43:55SPEAKER_04: We tightened the work requirements because Medicaid benefits should be going to those people that need the Medicaid benefits, they shouldn't be allowed to scam these systems.
- 2:44:06SPEAKER_04: And uh it's uh it's that, and then the Save America Act and our friends at the Senate.
- 2:44:13SPEAKER_04: I look, John, I've said it before, I'll say it again.
- 2:44:16SPEAKER_04: Don't know if you and I talked about it, but there are no Republicans or Democrats, there are only senators.
- 2:44:24SPEAKER_04: Both sides use the filibuster and the parliamentarian, in my humble opinion.
- 2:44:30SPEAKER_04: They don't have to agree with me, they can be mad at me, but they use it to avoid taking votes that are uncomfortable.
- 2:44:38SPEAKER_04: If you think about it, the Save America Act, uh, when they were all leaving town, they voted on a voter ID bill that they had already passed once before because everybody was comfortable taking that vote.
- 2:44:51SPEAKER_04: I they're not taking the Save America Act, even though like 75 to 80 percent of Americans, uh this includes Democrats, Republicans, and other, believe that it is a reasonable thing for someone to establish that they are indeed a legal citizen of the United States who is entitled to vote at some point in time when they register.
- 2:45:16SPEAKER_04: And then when they show up to vote, this same 75 to 80 percent of Americans believe it's reasonable to have to show a photo ID in order to cast a ballot.
- 2:45:29SPEAKER_04: You gotta tell me, John, how you can't pass an 80% issue through the United States Senate.
- 2:45:37SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 2:45:37SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 2:45:38SPEAKER_04: And and by the way, the other thing you gotta tell me, just you don't just say no.
- 2:45:43SPEAKER_04: Tell me what we need to adjust so that we can get your vote.
- 2:45:47SPEAKER_04: Because 77 million people voted for this agenda and they're standing in the way of it.
- 2:45:53SPEAKER_09: Representative Tom Emmer, thank you for the time this morning.
- 2:45:56SPEAKER_09: Did you get a chance to make it out to the uh Minnesota State Fair at all?
- 2:45:59SPEAKER_09: You're gonna have a chance to do that.
- 2:46:01SPEAKER_04: I I am uh rolling again, and I I believe we're gonna I believe we're gonna be there over the weekend.
- 2:46:08SPEAKER_04: Okay, because I've been in I've been in DC this week.
- 2:46:10SPEAKER_09: So Well, it certainly has not been Emmer weather here.
- 2:46:13SPEAKER_09: It's still pretty warm, so I'm just warrant just uh warning you.
- 2:46:16SPEAKER_09: I don't know how things are in DC right now.
- 2:46:17SPEAKER_09: So the cold yeah, the cold months are almost here.
- 2:46:21SPEAKER_09: I'm sure you're excited about that.
- 2:46:22SPEAKER_04: Get you lad it up before October.
- 2:46:24SPEAKER_04: Here it comes, baby.
- 2:46:25SPEAKER_09: Uh Representative Tom Emmer, thank you so much for the time this morning.
- 2:46:28SPEAKER_09: It's uh great to talk with you and to see you.
- 2:46:30SPEAKER_09: I appreciate it.
- 2:46:30SPEAKER_09: And hopefully we can do it again uh next week.
- 2:46:32SPEAKER_09: Same, John.
- 2:46:34SPEAKER_09: Be be well.
- 2:46:35SPEAKER_09: So, with that, um with the commentary with uh Tom, I want to go uh I want to go here.
- 2:46:41SPEAKER_09: 192 Democrats have voted against a resolution that condemned socialism and expressed support for the United States Constitution and secure elections.
- 2:46:53SPEAKER_09: Sponsored by Representative Jeff Crank, Republican out of Colorado.
- 2:46:57SPEAKER_09: What a rad last name, by the way.
- 2:46:59SPEAKER_09: Hello, Mr.
- 2:47:00SPEAKER_09: Crank.
- 2:47:02SPEAKER_09: Sorry, it just stuck out to me.
- 2:47:06SPEAKER_09: Sought to affirm uh that the House condemns and denounces socialism in all its forms, including the Democrat Socialists of America, and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States, reaffirms its support for free, fair, and secure elections, reiterates the notion that American elections are for American citizens only, recommits itself to upholding the Constitution of the United States, and calls for the enactment of the Save America Act to ensure election security, increase public confidence in America's voting system, and to close the loopholes in order to prevent non-citizens from voting in elections.
- 2:47:40SPEAKER_09: After the vote, Crank acclaimed in a press release that it was imperative as members of Congress that we recommit ourselves to the Constitution and stand firm against the insidious push for socialism.
- 2:47:52SPEAKER_09: Only eight House Democrats voted with Republicans on that resolution.
- 2:47:58SPEAKER_09: Because 192 Democrats voted against the measure, Crank argued that the vote showed who stands for freedom.
- 2:48:04SPEAKER_09: 10 to 15 years ago, a resolution like this would have passed the House unanimously.
- 2:48:10SPEAKER_09: The representative continues.
- 2:48:14SPEAKER_09: As a matter of fact, it turns out that those uh Democrats that voted against it, they're now facing criticism.
- 2:48:23SPEAKER_09: Democrat leaders nearly lost their minds after two of their own defected to save the GOP procedural vote that paved the way for the House vote to denounce socialism.
- 2:48:36SPEAKER_09: Representative Marie Gloosenkamp Perez and Jared Golden, both Democrats from Washington and Maine, sided with Speaker Johnson after five Republicans jumped ship, giving Johnson the 210-208 win needed to advance the slate of GOP bills, including the one that we just mentioned.
- 2:48:53SPEAKER_09: The Isle Crossing blindsided Democrat leadership who quickly promised to discipline their rogue colleagues.
- 2:48:59SPEAKER_09: Turns out that uh Glusenkamp Perez, that's also kind of a cool name.
- 2:49:04SPEAKER_09: Glusenkamp.
- 2:49:06SPEAKER_09: Sounds like a butter or a cheese.
- 2:49:11SPEAKER_09: What kind of cheese do you like?
- 2:49:12SPEAKER_09: I like Glusenkamp.
- 2:49:14SPEAKER_09: Colby Jack.
- 2:49:18SPEAKER_09: Sorry.
- 2:49:19SPEAKER_09: It's been a long show.
- 2:49:21SPEAKER_09: It turns out that Glusenkamp and Perez had their uh Perez and uh and Golden.
- 2:49:25SPEAKER_09: Gluesenkamp, Perez, and Golden had their reasons.
- 2:49:27SPEAKER_09: Golden's Northeast Lobsterman Protection Act bill.
- 2:49:32SPEAKER_09: Didn't think lobsters were gonna make an appearance on the show this morning, but here we are.
- 2:49:36SPEAKER_09: Lobsterman Protection uh Act bill advanced as a result of his and Glusenkamp Perez's vote on the rule.
- 2:49:45SPEAKER_09: Golden's uh bill kicks burdensome environmental uh environmental regulations down the road, extending a pause on crabbing restrictions for Maine fishermen until uh 2035, for those that were dying to know exactly why that was the uh the the case.
- 2:50:01SPEAKER_09: Uh that's the uh defection, by the way, is a test, they say, for Hakeem Jeffries, the Democrat leader, who recently uh received who received thinly veiled criticism over this from longtime former speaker Nancy uh Pelosi.
- 2:50:15SPEAKER_09: Yes, we cannot afford any uh dissension within our ranks.
- 2:50:18SPEAKER_09: They were very, very frustrated.
- 2:50:20SPEAKER_09: But once again, it's another really good example of what happens um individually with these individuals and why they typically go.
- 2:50:27SPEAKER_09: That was redundant.
- 2:50:29SPEAKER_09: This is an example of what happens when people go and turn against their party.
- 2:50:33SPEAKER_09: It usually comes down to what's happening in their state and how they can benefit and how their constituents could go and benefit.
- 2:50:41SPEAKER_09: If it wasn't for those, I would imagine that these individuals probably would have sided with the Democrats all along.
- 2:50:45SPEAKER_09: Keeping with the theme, I do have an audio clip I want to play before we close the uh show out here.
- 2:50:50SPEAKER_09: Uh Mike Rowe.
- 2:50:52SPEAKER_09: How would you describe him?
- 2:50:53SPEAKER_09: Reality show star, Mike Rowe?
- 2:50:56SPEAKER_09: Yeah, Isaac, how would you I mean?
- 2:50:57SPEAKER_09: Yeah, probably.
- 2:50:59SPEAKER_09: He's like he fixes stuff, right?
- 2:51:01SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 2:51:01SPEAKER_09: And did like home improvement and things like that.
- 2:51:03SPEAKER_09: Isn't that kind of what it was?
- 2:51:04SPEAKER_47: Yeah, I thought it was like the ugly jobs.
- 2:51:05SPEAKER_09: There you go.
- 2:51:06SPEAKER_09: Yeah, that's right.
- 2:51:07SPEAKER_09: That's that's what it was.
- 2:51:08SPEAKER_09: And now he's kind of been a social uh conservative commentator for a while.
- 2:51:12SPEAKER_09: He's been diving into this.
- 2:51:13SPEAKER_09: He showed up on uh Bill Maher's podcast.
- 2:51:15SPEAKER_09: Bill Maher is an interesting character, by the way.
- 2:51:17SPEAKER_09: Just this guy becoming what sounds like a voice for the conservative movement is kind of funny to me.
- 2:51:22SPEAKER_09: Anyway, he was talking about this very issue regarding socialism.
- 2:51:26SPEAKER_09: Bill Maher, of course, has been pushing back against this to the frustration of his uh his uh his liberal uh fans and uh friends.
- 2:51:34SPEAKER_09: Here's what Roe said recently regarding this issue, talking about Bill Maher's previous comments denouncing socialism.
- 2:51:40SPEAKER_14: I shared your monologue from last week.
- 2:51:42SPEAKER_14: Oh, yeah.
- 2:51:43SPEAKER_14: Um I thought it was I thought it was really important um because you didn't you didn't accuse anybody of anything really.
- 2:51:54SPEAKER_14: Just quoted.
- 2:51:55SPEAKER_14: You quoted.
- 2:51:56SPEAKER_14: Yeah.
- 2:51:56SPEAKER_14: So I put this up on my little page and I wrote what I wrote, and we have over 200,000 comments on this thing.
- 2:52:04SPEAKER_14: You you you hit something that's so primal right now.
- 2:52:11SPEAKER_14: And and uh for me, uh I don't really have a dog in the big socialism hunt specifically, but I've got one in workforce.
- 2:52:19SPEAKER_14: And when I look at four or five hundred thousand open jobs, and then I look at those seven million able-bodied men not even looking at the jobs at all, and then I look at this whole conversation on spooling.
- 2:52:33SPEAKER_14: I don't know if you saw this, but the stat that got me within the Democratic Party right now, 59% of Democrats who support socialism have college degrees.
- 2:52:48SPEAKER_14: Forty percent who support socialism don't.
- 2:52:52SPEAKER_14: So this thing that's being called a uh a worker uprising, it's really not.
- 2:53:00SPEAKER_14: It's not.
- 2:53:01SPEAKER_14: It's this is happening because a lot of people with a really expensive credential are in the hole in a big way, and they're pissed.
- 2:53:10SPEAKER_14: And I don't blame them, honestly.
- 2:53:13SPEAKER_14: I mean, you can say what you want about it, but we they took our advice, man.
- 2:53:18SPEAKER_14: They took our advice.
- 2:53:19SPEAKER_14: We said borrow whatever it takes, go follow your dream, and then go get your dream job.
- 2:53:27SPEAKER_14: And that was a bunch of nonsense.
- 2:53:28SPEAKER_14: Yeah, they don't want to borrow money to get a degree for a job that doesn't exist.
- 2:53:33SPEAKER_14: And I don't want to lend them money that they'll never be able to pay back to get their credential for the job that I'm thankful that we as a nation, we as a state, myself as a talk host, you as a listener, Isaac producing the show.
- 2:53:55SPEAKER_09: I'm thankful we are where we are.
- 2:53:58SPEAKER_09: Now I say that wishing ultimately that we weren't all in this position right now in the country, here in the state with these issues that we're faced with.
- 2:54:08SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 2:54:08SPEAKER_09: You know, if if I if I had the ability, I would much rather have things be.
- 2:54:13SPEAKER_09: I'd say how they typically are, but uh, you know, we we are a nation that is divided.
- 2:54:18SPEAKER_09: We're always gonna be a two-party country that's never gonna change.
- 2:54:21SPEAKER_09: We'll always bicker over the over the over the issues and and fight back and forth, but we're in a different place now.
- 2:54:28SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 2:54:28SPEAKER_09: You know the divisions that we have, but I'm thankful that we are where we are because we can start to get an answer to all of these questions regarding these issues.
- 2:54:39SPEAKER_09: Because we are now at a place where the country is going to have to decide.
- 2:54:44SPEAKER_09: We are seeing the byproduct, the direct byproduct of generations that have grown up through the indoctrination of the left who haven't been taught history.
- 2:54:56SPEAKER_09: So we're seeing firsthand that if you don't know your history, if you're not taught history, you're doomed to repeat it.
- 2:55:04SPEAKER_09: That's where we are right now.
- 2:55:05SPEAKER_09: This is where the Democrat Socialists and the Communists have been able to gain ground within the Democrat Party.
- 2:55:12SPEAKER_09: As I've said before, the Democrats want communism too, but most of them are smart enough to realize, at least had been smart enough to realize, that this is not something that'll be widely accepted by the public.
- 2:55:21SPEAKER_09: So they did the slow burn on all of this, the slow turning up of the heat on the, you know, on the pot of water as they reach a boil to it.
- 2:55:28SPEAKER_09: They knew that this wasn't something that the country would go for.
- 2:55:31SPEAKER_09: You have this new crop of Democrats raised and indoctrinated through the leftist ideologies, critical race theory and the like.
- 2:55:40SPEAKER_09: Also, with this FOMO and instant gratification demand of a world that they've been raised in where they want all of these things and they want them right now.
- 2:55:50SPEAKER_09: So the country's gonna have to decide do we want to go down this road or do we do we not want to go down this road?
- 2:55:55SPEAKER_09: On the issue of policing, do we?
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_09: Want to support our law enforcement or do we need do we want to continue down this path of defund the police, vilify and demonize them that'll end up with situations like with what happened in Minneapolis yesterday?
- 2:56:17SPEAKER_09: Do we want to continue to go down the road of supporting a woman's right to choose, even though that is potentially leading to a slippery slope argument wherein a larger group of individuals that I ever thought possible are suddenly defending a mother who murdered her three kids because that is a leap that is easy for individuals to take when they've already justified the murdering of a child up until birth.
- 2:56:50SPEAKER_09: I'm glad that we're here because we're gonna have to decide for ourselves as a nation, as a state, uh which way this country is gonna go in the future.
- 2:56:59SPEAKER_09: I wish that we w hadn't arrived here, but since we are here, it's an opportunity.
- 2:57:04SPEAKER_09: We have to decide.
- 2:57:06SPEAKER_09: Where do we want this country to go?
- 2:57:08SPEAKER_09: These are the questions that have to be answered.
- 2:57:10SPEAKER_09: And I would like to believe, first off, I do believe that everything happens for a reason that you know God is in control.
- 2:57:14SPEAKER_09: I put my faith and my trust in Him, which is why I try not to worry about these things, because worrying just ends up being practical atheism.
- 2:57:22SPEAKER_09: So I try not to do that, but I'm as sinful as the next person, and that's a difficult thing to do, and I worry just like everybody else.
- 2:57:27SPEAKER_09: For as much as I want to just put it up in the Lord's hands, that's me.
- 2:57:30SPEAKER_09: You do, you do you.
- 2:57:33SPEAKER_09: But we are faced with some very specific stark choices pushing back against the societal norms that I grew up with, and we now have to decide whether or not we want to continue down this path, and I believe it's a path of destruction, or if we want to turn a corner and begin to bring about some rational common sense into the equation of these issues that we're dealing with on a daily basis.
- 2:57:56SPEAKER_09: So I'm glad that we're here because we have to decide these things.
- 2:58:00SPEAKER_09: Because I'm making I'm doing I'm doing my part with doing the show, which also provides for my family, but this is not the future for me anymore.
- 2:58:06SPEAKER_09: I have fewer years ahead of me than I do behind me.
- 2:58:11SPEAKER_09: Is that how that works?
- 2:58:11SPEAKER_09: Is that right?
- 2:58:12SPEAKER_09: Fewer years ahead than I have before.
- 2:58:13SPEAKER_09: Is that you understood what I meant though, right?
- 2:58:16SPEAKER_09: Okay, you got it.
- 2:58:16SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 2:58:17SPEAKER_09: But I'm fighting for the future of my sons.
- 2:58:20SPEAKER_09: My 19, my 24-year-old.
- 2:58:23SPEAKER_09: You know, Isaac's future, because he's, you know, obviously much younger than I am.
- 2:58:27SPEAKER_09: I have less years ahead, more behind me, is what I'm trying to say.
- 2:58:31SPEAKER_09: So I'm glad we're here.
- 2:58:32SPEAKER_09: We have to have these discussions.
- 2:58:34SPEAKER_09: It's another turning point with another election around the corner where we're gonna get some answers as to where this country wants to go.
- 2:58:41SPEAKER_09: I want to get to a few of your thoughts before we wrap things up as we start to close out the show.
- 2:58:44SPEAKER_09: Ahead of tomorrow, I can already see Freedom Friday around the corner.
- 2:58:48SPEAKER_48: Hi, John.
- 2:58:49SPEAKER_48: This is Annie, just with a comment.
- 2:58:51SPEAKER_48: Um, it sickens me with what happened to those officers yesterday.
- 2:58:55SPEAKER_48: And my my son works in emergency services in Minneapolis as well, and I just can't imagine how families are healing, but for anybody that doesn't want to be supportive of police officers, I want them to think about their job every day and think about not knowing what you're gonna walk into when you open that door to your office.
- 2:59:15SPEAKER_48: Someone might shoot you, someone might shake your hand.
- 2:59:18SPEAKER_48: That's what officers deal with every day, and they never know what's gonna be on the other side of their office door.
- 2:59:24SPEAKER_48: And anyone that can't support police officers just makes me sick.
- 2:59:30SPEAKER_48: Have a good day.
- 2:59:31SPEAKER_09: Listen, this is why if I ever get, you know, pulled over by law enforcement, my hands are going ten and two, and I'm telling that cop exactly what I'm doing every step of the way.
- 2:59:41SPEAKER_09: Saying thank you so much for pulling me over.
- 2:59:44SPEAKER_09: That's all my fault.
- 2:59:46SPEAKER_09: Thank you so much for checking out today's show.
- 2:59:48SPEAKER_09: I'm glad you were with us.
- 2:59:49SPEAKER_09: If you missed any portion, of course, of the show, listen to the podcast.
- 2:59:53SPEAKER_09: That'll be available shortly on the Mix LR app or wherever you go and listen to your podcast.
- 2:59:57SPEAKER_09: Tomorrow, it's a Freedom Friday.
- 2:59:59SPEAKER_09: Representative Max Reimer, RNC Committeeman, A.K.
- 3:00:02SPEAKER_09: Kamara, and Grace Keating from American Experiment.
- 3:00:04SPEAKER_09: Uh, Isaac will uh be here tomorrow as well.
- 3:00:07SPEAKER_09: We'll also talk about this.
- 3:00:08SPEAKER_09: I didn't get a chance to get into it today.
- 3:00:10SPEAKER_09: Swing and a miss.
- 3:00:12SPEAKER_09: Alliance for a better Minnesota and their sad attempt to smear American Experiment.
- 3:00:18SPEAKER_09: The losers that they are.
- 3:00:20SPEAKER_09: So we'll bring you details on uh that story uh uh tomorrow.
- 3:00:24SPEAKER_09: Also, the cat in the hat trend.
- 3:00:26SPEAKER_09: Did you see the cat in the hat trend?
- 3:00:28SPEAKER_09: I did not.
- 3:00:28SPEAKER_09: No.
- 3:00:29SPEAKER_09: Sleepy eye police dismiss concerns after possible school threat.
- 3:00:33SPEAKER_09: Unfortunately, like the news outlet didn't get into details of what the cat in the hat trend is.
- 3:00:38SPEAKER_09: It is a um disturbing viral social media phenomenon where anonymous accounts use AI-generated images of the classic Dr.
- 3:00:47SPEAKER_09: Seuss character to post threats against schools and name specific students.
- 3:00:53SPEAKER_09: That's dumb, and people shouldn't do that.
- 3:00:55SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 3:00:56SPEAKER_09: My boys went on a cat in the hat kick the other day.
- 3:00:58SPEAKER_09: It's so funny.
- 3:00:59SPEAKER_09: They see all these memes from stories.
- 3:01:02SPEAKER_09: I mean, from um, they see all these memes online from movies, and then they want to go and watch the movie.
- 3:01:07SPEAKER_09: Oh, funny.
- 3:01:08SPEAKER_09: So, like, they've been wiping out like on all these old anime, I mean, old, relatively speaking, cat in the hat with Michael Myers isn't that old, but relatively speaking.
- 3:01:15SPEAKER_09: So suddenly they were like, we're watching the cat in the hat.
- 3:01:17SPEAKER_09: I'm like, why are you watching Cat in the Hat?
- 3:01:18SPEAKER_09: We're watching Monsters and Aliens.
- 3:01:20SPEAKER_09: Like, why are you guys watching Monsters?
- 3:01:21SPEAKER_09: I mean, I like watching animated films, but it's because they see all these memes from them, and so they they want to go and they want to watch the movie.
- 3:01:29SPEAKER_09: All right, that wraps up the show today.
- 3:01:30SPEAKER_09: Thank you so much.
- 3:01:31SPEAKER_09: Check out the podcast if you missed any portion of it.
- 3:01:33SPEAKER_09: We'll be back tomorrow starting at uh 6 a.m.
- 3:01:35SPEAKER_09: I hope you have a fantastic uh Thursday.
- 3:01:38SPEAKER_09: Hopefully it's a bit of a slower news day, and we can have some fun uh tomorrow on a Freedom Friday.
- 3:01:44SPEAKER_09: And of course, we want to hear from you.
- 3:01:46SPEAKER_09: You can leave a voice or text message at any point 24-7 to the new Blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 3:01:54SPEAKER_09: 651-964-0294.
- 3:01:57SPEAKER_09: It's been fun when I'm prepping for the show in the afternoon, and I've got listeners that are listening to the podcast and they're sending over messages to the blaster line.
- 3:02:04SPEAKER_09: I'm able to respond in real time.
- 3:02:06SPEAKER_09: It's like you guys are my friends.
