- 0:37All right, welcome back. Thank you for those that are
- 0:39new. Welcome.
- 0:41And before we start, we always pray.
- 0:45So, Lord, thank you for allowing us to gather here.
- 0:50You guide us and lead us always into the absolute truth, for
- 0:54there's no one greater than you. Praise your holy name.
- 0:57Amen. Amen.
- 1:00Yo. You know, I was listening to
- 1:01something really interesting. I don't know why I just decided
- 1:06to click on a random video or random podcast, Right, right.
- 1:10You know Joe Rogan, everybody knows Joe Rogan.
- 1:13He he talks about some cool things.
- 1:15So I I decided to just click on one of his videos.
- 1:18Yeah, everybody, everybody listens to him.
- 1:20Yeah, everybody listens to it. I, I don't know who this person
- 1:24is. Well, before I listened to the
- 1:26video, I didn't know who this person was.
- 1:28It was Daniel Everett. There's there's Everett.
- 1:33Probably. Oh, right, right, yes.
- 1:36Daniel Everett, yes, Yeah, the guy that went to like.
- 1:39Yes, I saw that podcast a while ago.
- 1:41Yeah, it's like a guy that goes to a tribe.
- 1:44Yeah. You're not really You don't
- 1:46watch podcasts. No, I really don't watch
- 1:48podcasts like that. No, I really don't.
- 1:51Yeah, I just watch. I'm.
- 1:51Surprised you even saw the whole thing.
- 1:53Probably fell asleep. I mean, I did.
- 1:55I did fall asleep for a section of it but I was waking up and I
- 1:58was in and out. But he talks about but I did
- 2:01watch a good portion. Yeah, I do.
- 2:02I do know what that vodka is about.
- 2:04Yeah. Yeah, though.
- 2:05So what? What about it?
- 2:07What did it interest you? What?
- 2:08What you seem, I don't know, interrupted by it or.
- 2:18Nah, Nah. It's it's more, it's more very
- 2:21interesting. Surprise or shock or I don't
- 2:26know what. No, I don't.
- 2:28I don't taken back by it. Yeah, I guess taken back by it,
- 2:31Yeah, 'cause he goes to this tribe called with a peanut pira
- 2:35pira tribe. I think it's a PITA Hut.
- 2:36Pita Hut. Yeah.
- 2:37Pita. Yeah, it's a.
- 2:39Tribe in Brazil. Yeah, I know what you're
- 2:40talking. About it's a tribe in Brazil,
- 2:42right? Supposedly.
- 2:43Like the way they communicate is completely different from ours.
- 2:47Like they don't have like a left or right.
- 2:50And when they and certain words literally sound like almost the
- 2:53exact same and you know, or if you know, if they see the colour
- 2:57blue or something like that. Yeah, I do.
- 3:00Remember, they'll just Basically their language is, but if I'm
- 3:06not mistaking some professional linguistic or something like.
- 3:09That yeah, they don't, they don't have numbers or anything,
- 3:10right. It's, it's just they don't have
- 3:13words for like colours. So when they describe a colour,
- 3:16they're going to point it to like the cloud for white, yeah,
- 3:22the sky for blue, like stuff like that.
- 3:23And also they don't have numbers to there.
- 3:25They don't like if like he was saying, like if you catch a
- 3:27certain amount of fish, you either say a lot, a little bit
- 3:32and that's it. Yeah, you don't say, oh, I
- 3:33caught, I caught like 14 or 10. Nah, you don't say anything like
- 3:36that. So it's really interesting.
- 3:39And him going to that tribe, well, he's a he was supposedly A
- 3:45missionary, believed in God. And then at the end, he ended up
- 3:50not believing anymore. Yep, that is true.
- 3:52So that did happen. Yeah, after being, being there
- 3:55for a while, he just like I, you know what this guy that, you
- 3:59know, I read about, it's not, not true.
- 4:01Interesting. Yeah.
- 4:02Just stop believing in it. He talks about how he trained
- 4:07'cause they, they train you to survive in the wilderness,
- 4:10right. And which is pretty cool, the
- 4:13way they trained him. Really interesting.
- 4:15But it's interesting because he speaks so much about how he, he
- 4:19trained like physically and then spiritually, he never really
- 4:23touches that topic that much. And in the way he says like
- 4:29where he just where he talks about how like why he left the
- 4:32faith and everything. It was almost like basically he
- 4:34was almost saying like, you know, he left the faith because
- 4:38he saw how happy these people were.
- 4:40He saw that these people actually had a purpose in life.
- 4:44While like us here, we're just so focused on trying to pay
- 4:47bills, trying to work and all that stuff and.
- 4:50Then yeah, I know, I know, I know.
- 4:51I've seen them. You know what I mean?
- 4:52Like, and then there's those people in that tribe where
- 4:54they're just always happy. All they're doing is just eating
- 4:57and sleeping and mating and that's it.
- 5:00Like you know what I mean? Yeah, I do.
- 5:04Yeah, you do seem almost like pissed off.
- 5:07Not pissed off but like what's wrong with you?
- 5:10Yeah, yeah, it's almost like. Well.
- 5:14Well, it's because his his point of view with scripture.
- 5:18It's like it's almost like he he didn't even understand scripture
- 5:21like like that. It was almost like he just.
- 5:24If I'm not mistaken, I think in a previous previous episode I
- 5:28had I might have mentioned it based on something.
- 5:32Maybe. I think you have.
- 5:33Yeah, I know I did. I do remember because I I, I
- 5:36only remember because what we were talking about.
- 5:38Wait, that episode? Now that that I come to think
- 5:41about it, why did I land in this episode?
- 5:44I don't know, do you? You said you were watching the
- 5:46video. Dude, I I swear I.
- 5:48Didn't. No, because I'm surprised you
- 5:49don't watch podcasts. I mean like.
- 5:51Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like HD.
- 5:53Yeah, it's just so funny because like, I just clicked on this
- 5:58randomly and I remember you mentioned it in the podcast.
- 6:01I know I did. I, I don't remember which
- 6:04episode it was, but I, I know I, I vaguely mentioned it because
- 6:08of something. But yeah, I've, I've seen, I've
- 6:13seen that. I saw that podcast I saw.
- 6:15Yeah, yeah, right. I won't lie to you, kind of like
- 6:18towards 75% of the podcast, I kind of just like.
- 6:23Yeah, bored of it? One out of went out of it
- 6:25probably finished it just like as a background noise.
- 6:28Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. That's all.
- 6:31Usually do things, but So, yeah, basically he was a missionary.
- 6:35Yes, I do remember the podcast with Joe Rogan, some old dude
- 6:38with white hair. Yeah.
- 6:40I mean, older guy, yeah. Yeah.
- 6:47Wow, there's a lot to talk about that.
- 6:51Well, you also have to understand that this is common
- 6:56sense too. Or maybe we say it's common
- 6:58sense because we learned it. So we don't even know which one
- 7:01came first, the egg or the OR the shell or the chicken or the
- 7:05egg. Right.
- 7:06Yeah. What I mean by that is I'm
- 7:08saying to you, well, it is common sense that the more
- 7:12knowledge you acquire, the more burdensome that brings.
- 7:15Yeah, this is better to know the unknown.
- 7:18Yeah, exactly. I could just say, well, that's
- 7:20common sense. Well, you only say that because
- 7:22you read and learned that, and that caused you to have the
- 7:25common sense. So which one came first?
- 7:27Right. Yeah.
- 7:27You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:28So it seems like the people that try live in a state of
- 7:33unknowable. Yeah, like unknowable.
- 7:35Yeah, So what they know is based on what they see.
- 7:39Yeah, that's literally how they live.
- 7:41Right. And we, we're the modern world,
- 7:44right? We learn, we learn, and that
- 7:48brings a burden. It does, and even though I'm
- 7:50Solomon. Solomon talk.
- 7:52That's what I was going to say. Solomon talks about this.
- 7:53He does talk about it Now. I've said before in the podcast,
- 8:00I've also got to that point where like this can't all be
- 8:02real, right? This, this, this has to be like
- 8:06a fantasy or something, right? This was like what 2009, 2010
- 8:11Genuinely, I was just like, this is no, no, no shot.
- 8:13This is it, right? I've asked my brother and you
- 8:16and then my cousin Wilmer that have you ever guys concluded
- 8:19this like no, man, how can I ever.
- 8:21But I did right, you know, and I just just like really, though,
- 8:29right, You know, not until I had my personal experience.
- 8:34I was like, well what was this? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:38Something supernatural. But but what is your take on
- 8:42this? I mean, I'm surprised you
- 8:44listened to this. Yeah, I'm surprised I listened
- 8:46to it too. I'm surprised I even ran into
- 8:48this. Well, what I got out of it was
- 8:51like, was like, yeah, I've, I've always, I've always known that
- 8:56like the less you have and the less, you know, you're more at
- 9:00peace, 100%. That's just common sense.
- 9:03And I've seen it from like, for example, people are in our
- 9:07country, we're from Honduras, there's and there's people, you
- 9:10know, that live in mountains and all that stuff.
- 9:12And you know, they, they live just, you know, they live
- 9:14normal. Like they eat, they drink, they
- 9:16have their farm, they have their chickens.
- 9:18And they're not obviously splurged like rich.
- 9:21Maybe they have like an old truck.
- 9:22You know, they just live like that, like farm, right?
- 9:25And they're the most happiest people you see.
- 9:28Like they don't, they don't believe in, like they don't
- 9:30believe in them. I don't.
- 9:31Think is that they're happy. I think they're just content
- 9:34with what they have or. Content that's a better.
- 9:35Word because happiness is is something causes that, right?
- 9:38Or happiness causes that. So there's a cause and effect.
- 9:41You know what then? Then?
- 9:42Content. Causes for you to be happy.
- 9:44Then content would be, would be the right word for it.
- 9:46Yeah. So they're content with what
- 9:48they have and they're like, you know, like.
- 9:50And there could be levels to contempt them.
- 9:52And because if the tribe they're, they're, they're
- 9:55detached by, I mean detached from the modern world, meaning
- 9:59like they just don't have technology they're, yeah, have
- 10:01access to. They don't.
- 10:03You know, they're, they're content, yeah.
- 10:06With nature and how they live. Yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 10:10But I guarantee you, the moment you take them away from that,
- 10:12let's say war happens, hypothetical, and it goes into
- 10:17their lands, they're going to they're going to be taken away
- 10:20and taking it to a safe spot because humans are humans,
- 10:24right? We're war.
- 10:24Let's put these people in a safe place.
- 10:26Yeah, let's say they're put in in this area where they've never
- 10:29seen before, a building, concrete, all this.
- 10:32They start to get exposed. What do you think will happen?
- 10:36Oh, they'll definitely get conformed to the things here.
- 10:39First of all, they'll be mesmerized.
- 10:41Yeah, they they'd be mesmerized at first.
- 10:43At first, but they'd be like. Electricity, plumbing.
- 10:46Yeah, like, you know, running water, but the.
- 10:50What takes for that to to to experience all that in your life
- 10:54in a daily base requires a sense of freedom.
- 11:01You have to give up. Yeah, right.
- 11:04Yeah, because you now you have to work.
- 11:06For this stuff now when I say it's better to know the unknown,
- 11:13I'm not saying that the law wasn't important to 10
- 11:15commandments, but we can get to that.
- 11:20Noah, everybody before the 10 commandments.
- 11:25If you read it, you seem like there was a sense of respect.
- 11:28Yeah. Even if there was no like, of
- 11:30course, official the 10 commandments, the thoughts of
- 11:34God, right? In which he wrote on stone,
- 11:37Right. They if you read, you saw how
- 11:41the pharaoh respected Abram. How can you do?
- 11:42Like, for example, how can you do this to us?
- 11:44Why didn't you tell us that she was your wife?
- 11:46Yeah, Yeah. How can you bring this bad upon
- 11:48us? Right.
- 11:48Right. What?
- 11:49Why did they do that? When they found out who Abraham
- 11:52was, they knew that there was this creator that was high, the
- 11:56most high God. Yeah, they knew this.
- 11:58This wasn't something unknown. Even though when Abraham's wife
- 12:02died, he goes to like a certain tribe and the tribe is like no,
- 12:06you are a Prince of God. OK, so So what what I'm trying
- 12:10to say with this is like, even outside of the Bible, read the
- 12:14books you there's historical evidence too, that they knew
- 12:17that there was a higher God, right?
- 12:20Besides the, the, the, whatever you would call the Samaritan,
- 12:24the Anunnakis or the, the pantheons or right or the, you
- 12:28know, the Greek gods, right? They knew that there was this
- 12:32unknown that was greater the high most this was known, right,
- 12:36right. This is not something like
- 12:39right. This was known in the ancient
- 12:40world. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:41This is before the 10 commandments.
- 12:43Yeah. He was a sense of respect not
- 12:45just because of the high most God just because of humans to
- 12:48humans a a very normal concept of be treat others how you would
- 12:54be treated like to be treated right right.
- 12:56Something that Christ said in the gospel.
- 12:58So like when Paul mentions in the book of Romans, like, you
- 13:02know, creation testified herself, like our conscience,
- 13:06this is the law to to unto ourselves right now, prior to
- 13:10the 10 commandments. I'm, I'm leaving that aside
- 13:13because there was a reason for the 10 commandments besides
- 13:16other conversations we've had. But for the purpose of what
- 13:19we're talking about, Noah obviously drank and got drunk.
- 13:26We read that they say, oh, it was because it was before grace.
- 13:30No, stop. It has nothing to do with that,
- 13:33right? Really, really doesn't.
- 13:35He just got drunk because he knew what it took to have
- 13:39fermented drink. Yeah.
- 13:40Yeah, exactly. He knew that wine, the grape
- 13:43could be in a barrel for a very long time, right?
- 13:47And it would ferment. And he knew that the that would
- 13:50give him the effect of just blowing off some steam just.
- 13:54Yeah, like, yeah, it was too much.
- 13:57This this this just some task. Right.
- 14:01Nowhere in that section of Scripture does he condemn Noah.
- 14:04Right, if anything. He curses onto his son.
- 14:07Yes or yes. Yeah, yeah.
- 14:11Now, in that ancient time, it's just common sense, what I'm
- 14:15trying to say here. Like they knew based on their
- 14:18conscience what would be this is right and this is wrong.
- 14:23That's just conscience. Yeah, determining it, right.
- 14:27They didn't know any 10 commandments, right?
- 14:30And so forgot to say to choose Noah because he was a righteous
- 14:34man. Besides other, right, beside
- 14:38other facts. He saw that he was pure.
- 14:43Besides that he was pure. Yeah, yeah, by by DNA, but also
- 14:47of heart. Yes.
- 14:49Where was the law? No, that's true.
- 14:50Where was the 10 commandments? That is true.
- 14:52That is true. Where was the 10 commandments?
- 14:54So the, the, the ability of knowing the knowledge of good
- 14:57and bad wasn't the sin. Like I've said this before, I
- 15:00can't believe I'm the only one talking.
- 15:02You brought this up. We went with the podcast.
- 15:06Yeah, yeah, with that podcast. But so he even uses Noah to to
- 15:12defend his position. I'm using Noah to the to debunk
- 15:17his position. Right.
- 15:18Yeah, he could. He does use Noah to like.
- 15:21But he used it to defend his position.
- 15:23Yeah. I'm using it to debunk his own
- 15:24position because I know I've seen this broadcast, right?
- 15:27I've seen that episode. So his own.
- 15:30So if God saw him that he was pure, that means his conscience.
- 15:34He knew. He knew the knowledge of good
- 15:38and bad. Yeah.
- 15:39Yeah. Not that he knew how to wield it
- 15:40perfectly, but he knew how to determine.
- 15:44Oh, this is this is right. I don't know.
- 15:46This is wrong. Yeah, because even Christ says
- 15:48like, you know how to do good. Like he tells, he tells the
- 15:52Father he's like, oh, like to the to the dad, he's like, oh,
- 15:54you, you know, not to give you're.
- 15:55Being wicked, you know how to do you know?
- 15:57How to do good? Yeah, exactly.
- 15:58So and also also there's a part here in in two in the podcast
- 16:03where he speaks about like a little kid crying and then he's
- 16:06like, yeah, why don't you spank that kid?
- 16:08And I think the tribe was like, no, we don't do that here.
- 16:10That's bad. Or like that's that's not right
- 16:12to spank a kid. So they they even know the
- 16:14concept of good and bad. Now in scripture where he does
- 16:19mention sections because Christians are known to like hit
- 16:21their children, but jogren was like, why would you hit a kid?
- 16:25And depending on whichever culture you're in, you know,
- 16:29Middle East, the East meaning Asia, continent of Asia, or the
- 16:34Latin American countries, it is known that you get a good
- 16:38weapon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 16:39Like, because you're just being rebellious.
- 16:42Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now if they say that's not good,
- 16:43OK. Like, would you hit a 2,
- 16:45three-year old? Maybe not.
- 16:47Yeah, yeah. No, you don't do that.
- 16:48That's not good, Right? Yeah.
- 16:50In other cultures, that's a thing.
- 16:53That's whether if you're a Christian or not.
- 16:55Yeah, it doesn't. Matter.
- 16:56It just happens, yeah. Right.
- 16:57But when Solomon talks about this, he talks about it because
- 17:02the rod disciplines a child. But we're talking about someone
- 17:07who grew up being the Prince of a of a king like David.
- 17:11He was royalty, yeah. He was royalty, so of course he
- 17:13was disciplined of Cody was given the rod when those times
- 17:16came. Yeah.
- 17:17Versus someone not being growing up in the Kingdom.
- 17:20It's a different dynamic. It is.
- 17:21It is. It is.
- 17:22Yeah. So like we're talking about
- 17:24different times. You're talking about a tribe in
- 17:27Brazil who's like, detached from the like.
- 17:31Society. From human interaction and
- 17:33technology and all of a sudden you're saying they're the
- 17:36happiest people in the world. You could have easily have done
- 17:39that from just attaching from anything.
- 17:43But that's besides a point. I don't want to get to that yet.
- 17:45But what I'm trying to get at is by the simple fact that if you
- 17:49read Scripture or even historical, they historical
- 17:54archives out there. Yeah.
- 17:57Prior to Christ, before Christ, even before the 10 commandments,
- 18:00there was a human interaction of respect.
- 18:04Yeah, yeah. Society was different, slavery,
- 18:08and we can go into that. We can have that conversation
- 18:11day and night, whatever. Right.
- 18:13But there was a notion of respect.
- 18:17There was a notion of of being content with what you ever have.
- 18:22Now, as it shows even in historical archives, something
- 18:29interrupted humankind at some point, something came and got
- 18:35involved with the simplicity of how humans were living.
- 18:39Oh, yes, and that's even. Yeah, you're talking about
- 18:41Scripture, right? Talk.
- 18:42About Scripture, even even outside.
- 18:45Yeah, there's historical archives too, just as much as
- 18:47Scriptures talks about it in the Book of Enoch.
- 18:50Something came and interrupted humanity.
- 18:52Yeah, in what way? And interrupted it with
- 18:55knowledge. More knowledge than already.
- 18:59The fact that you have the ability of knowledge of good and
- 19:02bad, you weren't you. Then they acquire knowledge
- 19:05outside of that, right? Yeah.
- 19:07They are given technology. They're shown things.
- 19:09Things are not supposed to at all whatsoever.
- 19:13That comes into the pictures. There's a lot of variables.
- 19:16No, there is. Happening, right?
- 19:18And it's true, Joe Rogan says that like the bills, the taxes,
- 19:23Yes, we live in a modern world. We know too much.
- 19:28Yeah. And we're because we know too
- 19:31much. We're enveloped in this greed of
- 19:36capitalism. And everybody works, right?
- 19:40You either an employee or an employer.
- 19:42It's a vicious cycle. It is.
- 19:44Yeah. Like.
- 19:45Exactly. You know what I mean 100% It's
- 19:47all like for you to have gone to a tribe and all of this and say
- 19:52there is no God. If anything, a trip like that
- 19:55would have only proved to me there is such a God.
- 19:57Yeah, exactly. If anything, that proves what
- 20:00Paul talks about even more. Yeah.
- 20:02Exactly. So going back to going back to
- 20:07how the simplicity of of language and interaction, that
- 20:14was also a thing in the ancient times.
- 20:16Yeah. And they were main cities during
- 20:17that time. Because we've spoken about this
- 20:19in the podcast that like, for example, you know, we speak
- 20:23English, you know, the English language and, you know, it was
- 20:26translated from, you know, Greek.
- 20:28And sometimes our, our language cripples us.
- 20:31Yeah. From like, you know, reading.
- 20:33If, if, because he's a linguistic, right?
- 20:35So he's coming from a standpoint of how he analyzed his language
- 20:38and all that, right. OK, Our the oldest language that
- 20:44exists is probably the Samaritan, the Samaritan
- 20:48language which is like where the Mesopotamia area is, which is
- 20:51Iraq. Oh, OK.
- 20:56I forgot the other, I think Akkadian language.
- 20:58I could be getting the name or I could be getting it wrong.
- 21:01I could be botching it. But after that, Egyptian Coptic,
- 21:08which is very, it's like an offshoot of Greek, right?
- 21:12And then Abraham did not speak Hebrew.
- 21:16Yeah. He didn't speak Hebrew.
- 21:17He spoke the language of the Canaanites.
- 21:19Yeah, yeah, yeah. OK.
- 21:21Like he just didn't speak like Hebrew or Arabic, right?
- 21:25Like he didn't. No.
- 21:26Yeah, exactly. Noah didn't even speak the
- 21:28language of of Abraham. He probably spoke that.
- 21:31That language is probably the oldest language, right?
- 21:35Yeah, no, I mean the guy said that there's about 8000
- 21:38languages like from back then. To Yeah, so to say that oh,
- 21:43Abraham spoke. He didn't.
- 21:45It was the the the descendants of Abraham that were in slavery
- 21:51in Egypt. That dialect that they had from
- 21:55Isaac and Jacob and Abraham mixed with the Egyptian in that
- 22:00in that general area is what becomes ancient Hebrew.
- 22:04Right, right. Later on, I'm just throwing you
- 22:07stuff. Yeah, yeah.
- 22:08No, I'm I'm literally learning right now.
- 22:11I don't even know how I know this stuff.
- 22:12I mean, 'cause I, this is something I've like in college,
- 22:15I liked history, so I would take some extra courses.
- 22:17Now mind you, the reason there is reasons to why God gave the
- 22:2310 commandments, right? Paul talks about this.
- 22:27You know, the law now makes sin visible, makes it alive.
- 22:30Yes, yes, OK. But it's actually perfect
- 22:34timing, if you think about it, that I'm going to give these 10
- 22:37commandments to a group of people who are just in slavery.
- 22:43100% because they they had they learned so many things from
- 22:46slavery. They were accustomed not only to
- 22:48the Egyptian culture, but they were accustomed to their own way
- 22:51of thinking as a slave. Yeah, right.
- 22:54And the 10 commandments kind of gives them a a clean slate to
- 22:58unlearn the slavery and to learn this other type of if you will,
- 23:04bondage, but to righteousness. Yes, a foreshadow, right, right,
- 23:08just like a these are my thoughts.
- 23:11Later in the future I will express it.
- 23:13Yes, which is Christ through Christ.
- 23:15Yes, exactly. It makes sense why at that
- 23:18moment he decides Now I'm going to give the 10 commandments
- 23:22because these people are probably the most stiff necked
- 23:24people out of all humankind. Yes, God set it clear as day to
- 23:29Moses. These people are stiff necked
- 23:30people. OK, yeah, so he gives it to the
- 23:34most stiff necked people ever in human history.
- 23:39Makes sense? It doesn't make sense, Yeah.
- 23:41OK, they just left slavery. They're going to the desert.
- 23:44They have no idea what to do. How can you give freedom to a
- 23:47slave who doesn't even know what freedom is, who doesn't even
- 23:49know how to stewardship or administrate or allocate time
- 23:52that's given to you by abundance, right?
- 23:54How do you do that? Right.
- 23:56No, you'd give it homework. Yeah, exactly.
- 24:00Because they were adapted to all that, yeah.
- 24:02So though then from then on, from then on, right, another
- 24:08interruption happens. So an interruption happens prior
- 24:11to the deliverance of Israel. There was a interruption that
- 24:16was not from God. That was like a coup, kind of
- 24:19like a, like a gang decided to like, we're going to interrupt
- 24:22this. I did not get involved in that.
- 24:25He allowed it. And you're talking about like
- 24:27the ones that came? Down, a lot of things happened,
- 24:29right? That we can take from Enoch,
- 24:31yeah, we can take from historical archives.
- 24:34Something interrupted something. Hell, that stuff, yeah.
- 24:38But then God comes and interrupts.
- 24:41Once again, yeah, 100%. And, and this day, today, we're
- 24:46still being interrupted. From that moment, uh huh,
- 24:49history changes, right? Because then from then on,
- 24:53countries and countries and nations are a sub stack.
- 25:00Oh, I'm not sub like a kind of like a offshoot of the the 10
- 25:05commandments. Because they tried to rule with
- 25:07those ideas, with US ideologies besides their culture, things
- 25:14start to change. Right.
- 25:18You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 25:19Yeah. And also during that time, it
- 25:23wasn't really so much modern. So someone like a tribe like
- 25:27where these these people are in Brazil, the gap between them.
- 25:32Oh, I know. Versus someone in ancient time
- 25:34wasn't really that much. Oh.
- 25:35Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, 100%.
- 25:38You know, like someone let's say 4000 a year ago, like in
- 25:41Egyptian times, someone who's in the Egyptian empire versus
- 25:46someone who's like in some tribe.
- 25:48What was the disparity between them?
- 25:50It wasn't really that old like, not that that big of a gap.
- 25:53Yeah, exactly. Yeah, right.
- 25:55They had to eat garden. Yeah, all that stuff you know
- 25:58there. Wasn't that much of a gap.
- 26:00There really wasn't now. The gap now?
- 26:02Oh yeah, it's huge. Instrumental, but like it's it's
- 26:05unimaginable. Yeah, right.
- 26:07You like if they were to see a plane.
- 26:09Yeah, they would be like what? Or a car.
- 26:11Yeah, the dude it would just the disparity between now a modern
- 26:16time versus them by a tribe like that it's.
- 26:19Yeah. It's an ocean.
- 26:20Yeah. Yeah, it is.
- 26:21It is. Like an ocean.
- 26:24So we're talking about different types.
- 26:26No, yeah. I mean, you see, for example, I
- 26:28don't know if you've ever seen that show leaving the Amish in
- 26:32TLC. It was like a show that was
- 26:34blowing up, like people from the Amish and never seen
- 26:37electricity. None of that.
- 26:39All of a sudden they leave that to come to like New York or
- 26:42California or something like that and to experience life,
- 26:45right, I guess you can say and you see that.
- 26:47Experience the modern world, yeah.
- 26:49Experience the modern world because you know, they live, you
- 26:51know, with no electricity, right And then they see like well,
- 26:54throughout the episodes, you see how how bad it gets for them
- 26:59when they experience the modern life, the life that you know, we
- 27:02live and they crash. A lot of them crash and like
- 27:08what we were saying, it's just to go from 11 extreme to another
- 27:13extreme, you will crash. Yes, but back then that extreme
- 27:18wasn't even there because the gap wasn't that much it.
- 27:20Wasn't that much, exactly. The gap between like a tribe
- 27:24like that versus an empire like Egypt, It wasn't the only the
- 27:27only difference was we're high status and you're just poor.
- 27:31Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Now we say you're a tribe and
- 27:34we're modern. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:36The concept of even rich and poor means nothing.
- 27:39Yeah, yeah, exactly. So it's like a it's like a huge,
- 27:42of course you're gonna think differently.
- 27:43Of course you're gonna see things differently.
- 27:45You go from cities to a tribe that has no electricity or has
- 27:49barely any community. That's what I'm saying.
- 27:51The disparity, yeah, it's, it's and also.
- 27:54It's huge. I think there's not really any
- 27:56hierarchy to on top of that too in that tribe.
- 27:59That's I think, yeah, there's not really any hierarchy.
- 28:02Or maybe there might be that one like like experienced hunter
- 28:06where people respect, but there's not really like for
- 28:08example, here we have president, governor, everything.
- 28:12We see hierarchy everywhere. It's like I said once again, OK,
- 28:17someone, and I'm talking about someone prior to Moses, prior to
- 28:22Abraham, I would even say prior to Noah, or maybe just during
- 28:27that time something interrupts and gives the idea that there is
- 28:32hierarchy and right there is this thing going on, OK.
- 28:35In Christ remind. God did not establish that
- 28:38hierarchy. No, he.
- 28:39He just all you guys are my creation.
- 28:42Yeah, I am the most like. If anything like that, yeah, if
- 28:45anything, Christ reminds us that is be perfect like your Father's
- 28:48in heaven, meaning like the rain falls on the rich and the poor
- 28:52and the wicked. You know, we're all unequal.
- 28:56Yeah. So, so because he finds himself
- 29:01going to a tribe, right, you have to, you also have to see it
- 29:06from where he's coming from. He's in linguistic, right.
- 29:09So he's going to come from that standpoint and to see in, to
- 29:13analyse a language that he's never heard before.
- 29:16Right, right. He's mesmerized.
- 29:17Oh, God. Oh my God.
- 29:18Do you know what I mean? Yeah.
- 29:21It's like I'm a musician. I hear this modern music and I
- 29:25just go to a tribe I don't know in Australia and I just hear
- 29:28this music. What is this?
- 29:30Oh, this is it. This is the music.
- 29:32Nothing else matters. No, right?
- 29:38What happened to him was, let's call it what it is.
- 29:41He probably was trying to pursue happiness.
- 29:46That's what it. Was that's a fallacy?
- 29:47Yeah, in of itself. You see, that's the thing that's
- 29:51that's the whole, like when I was listening to it, I felt like
- 29:53that was the whole premise of it.
- 29:54Like it's like, how are these people so happy?
- 29:57And then we're over here all miserable.
- 30:00But The thing is like happiness, like you said, something causes
- 30:03happiness. Let's just say if those people
- 30:06were taken out of surprise, a war breaks out or anything, or
- 30:10they get captured, will the happiness still remain is the
- 30:13question. Probably not.
- 30:15That's why Christ. Says no, no, probably not if
- 30:17it's if it's their lifestyle that's giving their happiness,
- 30:21but if in fact they've mastered life is this way.
- 30:25Yes, if they mastered that, yeah.
- 30:27Then if they get captured and sent into a camp or to because
- 30:30they're refugees or whatever, they should still feel content.
- 30:32Exactly. Because essentially their
- 30:34circumstance, yeah, yeah, changed, but they've learned to
- 30:36be contempt with anything, right?
- 30:38Exactly. That's why Christ says this
- 30:41peace that I give you surpasses all understanding, because we
- 30:45see in Scripture that when Paul had a lot, he was content, and
- 30:50when he had nothing, content, when he was in prison, content
- 30:53wherever he was. It's like I say again, man, once
- 30:56again, the gap in that time where Paul, someone who was like
- 31:01a tribal or some farm versus someone living in the Roman
- 31:04Empire, the cap was small. It wasn't even the way it is
- 31:07now. Exactly.
- 31:09No way. No way.
- 31:10Yeah. We just saw maybe like stone
- 31:11walls and marble and that's, that's it.
- 31:13Yeah. It was nothing like crazy, you
- 31:15know? Don't get me wrong, they they
- 31:17invented a lot of cool things like aqueducts and stuff like
- 31:19that, but that wasn't nothing new.
- 31:22Not like here where we have refrigerators that literally
- 31:25speak to us, you know? Exactly.
- 31:27Exactly my point. Yeah.
- 31:28Do you know what I'm saying? Like it's just the gap just
- 31:30keeps getting wider. Yeah.
- 31:31And wider and wider and wider and just ridiculous.
- 31:34Exactly. So he's coming from a place
- 31:39where he's intrigued by language.
- 31:43He sees these people are happy. He sees how they communicate.
- 31:46He sees that. He sees that we've kind of
- 31:49created this, these systems in our language to communicate.
- 31:54Yeah, God never told us not to live like a tribe.
- 32:02We've decided that's true. He's.
- 32:05Never he. Never.
- 32:05Not, not. Told us not to, right?
- 32:08Like, you know what I mean? See, that's the thing.
- 32:10If you read from Genesis, where were we in the beginning?
- 32:14A garden, you know what I mean? So he like, you know what I'm
- 32:17saying? He.
- 32:17Never, never said not to. Yeah, exactly.
- 32:21You know what I mean, He never said not.
- 32:22To yeah, yeah. Exactly like if he, if, if you
- 32:24let. Let's say if you decide like
- 32:26tomorrow, Oscar, I'm done with this.
- 32:28I'm done. I'm leaving.
- 32:30I'm you think? That's going to be mad at you.
- 32:34No. No, he's not.
- 32:35He can never. Please me.
- 32:37Well, with what you're doing with.
- 32:39Him, yes, but in regards to a simplicity of life, Oh yeah,
- 32:43yeah, yeah. Why?
- 32:44Would he be upset? About that exactly.
- 32:47No, it's just as as. Much as true would it would be
- 32:50where like God, I mean, I want to acquire money and finance to
- 32:55do this and like, well, Are you sure that it's going to be for
- 32:58that right? A test of character 100% just as
- 33:01much as. Giving up all.
- 33:02This is a test of character as well.
- 33:04Yeah, we've set ourselves. In that position.
- 33:09He never put us in that position exactly.
- 33:11We did. We did.
- 33:12We put systems in our life and all that stuff because of an
- 33:15influence. I keep referring to an influence
- 33:17that happened eons ago, ancient times.
- 33:21Yeah, OK. That was what started to happen.
- 33:25That's what what's happening. What happened, at least now for
- 33:30him, you know? To have concluded.
- 33:34That God is not real. Blows my mind.
- 33:38It does blow my mind too. I could say that because
- 33:40although. You were born a Christian your
- 33:41whole life. Well I just said that I pretty
- 33:45much like just did not believe it for a short period of time.
- 33:48Like legit was like just no way this is all real do.
- 33:52You know what I mean? Yeah, there's.
- 33:53No shot. This is real.
- 33:55Yeah, I've concluded to that right.
- 33:59But then you can say, well, yeah, but you know, your family
- 34:01was a pastor, Christian, this you were always influenced by
- 34:04it. No, I can decide to want to stop
- 34:06or not. You have the choice.
- 34:08I have the choice. Yeah, I could have been like, I
- 34:11don't believe in this, what my parents are doing and my
- 34:13brother, I don't care. I could have literally decided
- 34:16that, yeah, you and I did. Yeah.
- 34:20And. Still, God interrupts me.
- 34:24Interrupts amazingly, supernaturally.
- 34:28Yeah. So it's interesting.
- 34:34Oh, immediately he believes that God is not real simply because
- 34:40we don't go to funerals or cemeteries.
- 34:43I'm sorry. Not funeral cemeteries to lift
- 34:46people up from the dead. Yeah, he did say that.
- 34:49He did say that, yeah. You know, or.
- 34:54Or see an amputee grow a leg. Really.
- 34:59But yeah, because then he. Contradicts himself because then
- 35:01he's like he's like, oh these people were conditioned to
- 35:03suffer already from young age it's amazing because.
- 35:08The Amazon is a harsh environment.
- 35:10Yeah, of course it's a harsh environment.
- 35:12You can have to learn. Ancient times was a harsh
- 35:14environment. Yeah.
- 35:15They had to deal with diseases that we don't have to deal with.
- 35:18No. Yeah, they had to deal.
- 35:19With fleas. They had to deal with lice.
- 35:21A lot of things, yeah. They had to deal with life being
- 35:25uncomfortable. There was no AC.
- 35:28There was. None of that stuff there was.
- 35:29You get what you get and live. But now all of a sudden.
- 35:33Because we experience modern time at its fullest and when you
- 35:37expose yourself to some a group of people living how they would
- 35:41have lived how how people would have lived. 700 years ago.
- 35:46Or 2000 years ago. You have.
- 35:53Your mind is like, oh, wow, yeah, what are we?
- 35:56Doing. Yeah, I just think.
- 35:58That's just an excuse. Maybe it could also be this too.
- 36:02He was hanging out with people that were pagans.
- 36:06You know, let's be real here. I mean, they were the stuff that
- 36:08they would do what he says in the podcast.
- 36:10You know what what what is the I don't I.
- 36:11Mean they. I don't remember they.
- 36:12Like to sleep around with women and drink, you know, all that
- 36:14stuff because they made-up their own fermented drinks.
- 36:17And yeah, so they love doing that stuff.
- 36:19That's why he he also said to to the tribe said to him too.
- 36:22He's like, oh, you know, we don't really want to follow this
- 36:24Jesus because we like our lifestyle.
- 36:26We like the way we live, you know, sleeping around with
- 36:29women, getting drunk. We like that stuff.
- 36:31So I think like him being surrounded by that so much,
- 36:37seeing the simplicity of life, not guarding his heart, he was
- 36:40just like, I screw, I give up. I didn't.
- 36:43Cover anybody here? That's he says on the podcast,
- 36:45too. He's like, I didn't cover
- 36:46anybody, so he got converted. If anything, he was.
- 36:49On that guy converted, but it makes sense.
- 36:51To why they say, you know, we like drinking.
- 36:53We like, you know, doing this with women.
- 36:56What do you think they were doing in ancient times in?
- 36:59Ancient times during Noah. 'S time.
- 37:01See, that's the that's the thing, people.
- 37:02Don't understand too what you think what they were doing and.
- 37:04God wasn't even condemning that, by the way.
- 37:08The reason why he even had to really, like, kind of purify the
- 37:11world with water was like, I keep, I keep, I keep saying
- 37:15there was an interruption that was done.
- 37:18Yeah. And God allowed it.
- 37:19Yeah. And.
- 37:20He had to, kind of. Cleanse it exactly.
- 37:23With what it wasn't so much. As that they slept around and
- 37:27drank wine, they probably figured that out on their own.
- 37:31Yeah, right. Didn't take some other being to
- 37:34teach them that exactly right. They probably figure oh.
- 37:37Wow, this gets me dizzy. Just feels good, yeah.
- 37:42Exactly. Oh.
- 37:43Wow, I like sleeping with women. Of course, because now your
- 37:46desire is for a woman. Like common sense, deep it is.
- 37:50Yeah. Like, of course it feels good.
- 37:52Yeah. But to them.
- 37:54That is dead. Yeah, to them.
- 37:59At that moment. Sin is dead.
- 38:01So they're they're determining everything based on their
- 38:03conscience. Yeah.
- 38:05So they're. Just a group like that.
- 38:06God will judge them accordingly. Exactly.
- 38:09God will judge them accordingly, but the fact?
- 38:13With the simple fact that he already spoke to him about
- 38:16Jesus, he ruined it for them if anything.
- 38:20Yeah, not that talking to someone about Jesus ruins it,
- 38:22but in this aspect, but the simple fact of you now hearing
- 38:26the truth and then to say no, we don't want that, Yeah.
- 38:31For him to just give up like that and show that type of
- 38:33example, because remember what Hebrew says, He says if you know
- 38:37the truth and all the gifts and everything and then you were to
- 38:40go back, but you, you were making like a we're talking
- 38:43about someone who experienced. Just more than the elementary
- 38:46things, yeah, Someone experiencing.
- 38:51Things that is, things that are. Past elementary things, I think
- 38:54this guy was never even. Oh yeah, yeah, no, you're right,
- 38:57You're right. Because the way.
- 38:58He was speaking about scripture. I'm just like, dude, like, no, I
- 39:02think he did a terrible job. In my opinion, he thinks he did
- 39:05a great job. Great job.
- 39:07What? Explaining the Gospels.
- 39:08And everything like that. But then when I hear him speak
- 39:10about scripture, I'm just like, I don't have to go back to the
- 39:14video, but I remember I would be like, yes and no, you know, but
- 39:19more of the story is that like. He just gave his back to.
- 39:24God, that's the way I see it. He did not hold on to the faith.
- 39:28He did not guard his heart. If anything, he was the one that
- 39:30got converted to what they do. And he was so focused on the the
- 39:37physical survival mode surviving because they did train him to
- 39:41survive in the wilderness. Seems like he never really
- 39:43prepared for the spiritual, the wisdom, the getting ready with
- 39:48God. And mind you, he spent like, I
- 39:51think eight years or less. Training in the wilderness.
- 39:55Then to go to the tribe, rather than gaining wisdom from God
- 40:03throughout those eight years, to go speak to them because, for
- 40:07example, Paul, you see how we would speak to people, to the
- 40:11Romans, pagans, right? He used wisdom, so much wisdom
- 40:17that they thought he was a God. Yeah.
- 40:20And the island of Cyprus, I think.
- 40:22Yeah, well, with the snake, yeah, he.
- 40:23Gets bitten, but also with the Romans too, with the unknown
- 40:26God, the Greek and the Corinthians.
- 40:28Yeah, yeah. So I think if you want to do
- 40:33missionary, I think it's. Interesting.
- 40:36I mean, he was, he was confronted with.
- 40:46He was confronted with a group. Of people.
- 40:50Who? Depend on nature, yeah, and.
- 40:54It's on. Its design, they depend on it,
- 40:58but they also get hurt by it because, right, it's hostile,
- 41:01right? Yeah, yeah.
- 41:02The rainforest, the Amazon is not something he he, he
- 41:05literally. Would talk about how people get
- 41:07attacked by snakes and Jaguars, stuff like that.
- 41:12Yeah. They would get yeah.
- 41:13They would get hurt. Yeah, yeah.
- 41:15Wasps, all that stuff. You know, yeah, things of things
- 41:18in the jungle, yeah. Interesting we also have to take
- 41:22into account like what did Christ mean when he said until
- 41:25you guys preach this word to Jerusalem, Judea, you know, to
- 41:29the to the ends of the earth, right?
- 41:31Well, when Christ said that the ends of the earth, everybody
- 41:34knew the center of the epicenter of the world was Rome.
- 41:38How much further they knew that there was existing as much as
- 41:41they knew in regards to knowledge, right?
- 41:44They didn't know there was anything past the Atlantic
- 41:47Ocean, right, right. They knew things existed in
- 41:50Africa, they knew the Middle East, they even knew that the
- 41:54East existed, right? So.
- 41:56To the ends of the. Earth.
- 41:58What does that mean to them? Yeah.
- 41:59Right. Exactly versus then?
- 42:01When John is revealed in Revelation, what does that even
- 42:03mean now to the whole world? Because now John is seeing
- 42:07something way past, way past even the the history of the
- 42:15Europeans seeing things of World War One, seeing things of World
- 42:18War 2, right. So.
- 42:22What does that mean? And when I say that, what does
- 42:24that mean? Like are these people Christ
- 42:28died so that it doesn't? Lucas strive to get into the
- 42:36narrow gate, strive, pursue that right, walk in, enter into the
- 42:43narrow gate. Many find it.
- 42:46Many many seek for it and find it and seeking going.
- 42:49Others don't. If you find.
- 42:52It. Yeah, yeah, if you find it so.
- 42:53Like what does that mean? Why?
- 42:55Why do I bring that up? Because they're they're a tribe.
- 43:00The. Simple fact that he.
- 43:01Went and and and shared the the gospel with them to convert them
- 43:07you. Were trying to convert them.
- 43:08Based on your training, right? You didn't use wisdom
- 43:13accordingly, right? And what does that mean?
- 43:15Hey, if you have to live there 1520 years, then so be it,
- 43:20right? If you want if.
- 43:21I mean, might as well he lived there, that he lived there for
- 43:24quite some time so should have held on but but.
- 43:28I it's, I'm not trying to sympathize with him.
- 43:32I'm just trying to understand from his lens how he ended.
- 43:36He ended up there, Right, right, right.
- 43:39Because again bro, we're all the world.
- 43:42Everybody's trying. To pursue happiness?
- 43:45No bro, sometimes it's not going to be happy, that's OK.
- 43:48Exactly. Exactly.
- 43:50You're not going to be happy. Nope.
- 43:51Exactly. And that's fine.
- 43:53Paul even says it's. OK, to get angry, it's just
- 43:56don't let it. Yeah, sit down on.
- 43:58You. Don't let it sit throughout the.
- 43:59Day. Don't let it sit, don't let it
- 44:02set with the sun, if you will. Yeah, could be watching it.
- 44:05Yeah. But interestingly, simply
- 44:09because of a language that he heard that blew his mind, Right,
- 44:15exactly. He thought that with very little
- 44:18to say spoke so much. And that is true.
- 44:22The more you know. The more sorrow it brings you.
- 44:27Yeah, exactly. So it is better.
- 44:29In a way to know the unknown it really is, yeah.
- 44:33You know, the less you know, the better, the better.
- 44:36It is burdensome that is. So hey man.
- 44:41Exactly, exactly. So for those who.
- 44:44Don't think God is real? That's fine.
- 44:47You're entitled to that opinion and decision.
- 44:50Yeah, Yeah. That's up to you honestly.
- 44:52Like we're not the ones to change the hearts.
- 44:56We just throw seeds that's it. And at the end they God is the
- 44:59one. But everyone is entitled to
- 45:02their own choice. Just.
- 45:04Understand that there's only. 2 outcomes at the end of the day.
- 45:09So that's pretty much for today. Yeah, interesting.
- 45:11Those are new please. Subscribe and share.
- 45:15Actually it's. Been helping out a lot.
- 45:18So yeah, yeah, please. You know.
- 45:21And before you know, we end it. We always pray.
- 45:25So thank you, Father. For this opportunity again to
- 45:29speak about your word, to comment and speak about other
- 45:34people's experiences and. How knowledge?
- 45:40Sometimes, no, not sometimes, but most of the time will be
- 45:45burdensome. But like you're, like you've
- 45:47said also in Luke, to whomever knows more you know that will
- 45:52now be accounted to you, the more you know there's a
- 45:55responsibility. And that's what makes it.
- 45:58That's what makes it amazing that you will be done always, at
- 46:03all times, and that your Holy Spirit always is present.
- 46:10Of course, have mercy if we have transgressed before you.
- 46:17Forgive us, Father. And all those listening.
- 46:21Bless them, and if it's one or two or three listening, that's
- 46:24fine. And whoever listens, know.
- 46:30That there is a God. Who is in control of everything?
- 46:36And thank you, Father, and your Son in the Holy Spirit.
- 46:40Amen.
