Speaker 1: Good evening, Rapids fans.
• 0:03
  Speaker 2: Welcome in.
• 0:03
Speaker 1: I'm Connor Cape, joined by Drew Moore here at Dick's
• 0:06
Speaker 1: Sporting Goods Park, where tonight, you're bringing your boys our
• 0:09
Speaker 1: hosting Club de Foot Montreal in the Eastern Conference.
• 0:14
Speaker 2: Another opportunity for three points at home.
• 0:16
Speaker 1: Potentially, Drew, a record-breaking evening for Colorado. As if the
• 0:22
Speaker 1: Rapids keep a clean sheet, it will be the sixth
• 0:24
Speaker 1: consecutive clean sheet at home, which would be a new
• 0:28
Speaker 1: club record. Currently tied... with the 2004 team with five.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: So a lot on the line, but also potentially the
• 0:35
Speaker 1: debuts of two new Rapids.
• 0:39
Speaker 2: Syed Abou-Farki, Morgan Whitaker.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: They are available on the bench to come on, and
• 0:44
Speaker 1: we do expect to see them at some point.
• 0:48
Speaker 2: Montreal in business once again.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: Loic Williams sliding in with a well-timed challenge that at
• 0:54
Speaker 1: least slows down the attack that allows the Rapids defense
• 0:56
Speaker 1: to take the ball back.
• 0:57
Speaker 2: George Menungu. Hands it off. Miguel Navarro on it now.
• 1:02
Speaker 2: He's looking to his right, passing to his right. Finds
• 1:05
Speaker 2: Rob Holding, who rolls it in between a few defenders
• 1:08
Speaker 2: for Atencio. And Atencio bends it out, looking for Filip.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: Radojevic is there. It bounces off of Filip. Rapids in business!
• 1:16
Speaker 1: And it's a kick save by Bresa. And now the
• 1:19
Speaker 1: Rapids still trying to maintain. And it's Wall crawling on
• 1:23
Speaker 1: the grass. Bresa picks it up, taking it off the
• 1:27
Speaker 1: feet of Giorgio Mungu.
• 1:28
Speaker 3: The Rapids have certainly settled into this match after a
• 1:31
Speaker 3: little bit of a tentative first seven or eight minutes.
• 1:34
Speaker 3: Up at 66% plus possession right now, which is what
• 1:38
Speaker 3: you'd expect to see at home. Really low block from Montreal,
• 1:41
Speaker 3: which will be difficult to break down.
• 1:43
Speaker 2: Well, who's got that individual brilliance? That's what it is.
• 1:46
Speaker 1: Luke Williams rolls it over to the left side for Georgie.
• 1:49
Speaker 1: Georgie with Ceballos in front of him.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: Step over. Cuts into the box. Georgie around one man.
• 1:53
Speaker 2: Georgie fouled. No. Drew Fisher wags his finger. Immediately says no.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: And it happened right in front of him. He must
• 2:03
Speaker 1: be confident in it. Diagonal ball coming from Montreal.
• 2:06
Speaker 4: If he's closer to Manu today, it's really unnecessary as
• 2:09
Speaker 4: Georgie's about to go out of bounds here. Ceballos is
• 2:13
Speaker 4: probably frustrated because he's been chasing Georgie this entire first
• 2:16
  Speaker 4: half so far.
• 2:18
  Speaker 2: It's just violent.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Free kick for Colorado. Right footed ball sails in. Off
• 2:24
Speaker 1: the other side of the crossbar now. Rob Holding almost
• 2:27
Speaker 1: opened the scoring. In Colorado, now they have to deny
• 2:31
Speaker 1: a transition from Montreal. Rosenberry went up on the cross,
• 2:35
Speaker 1: and a Montreal attacker went down, face down in the turf.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: He's going to go out for a Colorado throw. Drew
• 2:41
Speaker 1: Fisher is just trying to get this game back in check.
• 2:45
Speaker 3: And Jair Marufu, very experienced official as well, like Drew Fisher,
• 2:49
Speaker 3: and he knows how to calm things down.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: Donovan Philip giving go to Atencio. Philip trying to bend
• 2:54
Speaker 1: it around Radojevic. He does so at the edge of
• 2:57
Speaker 1: the box. This one will be a penalty as he's
• 2:59
Speaker 1: brought down by Radojevic.
• 3:01
Speaker 2: It'll be checked. 41st minute, it'll be checked. Did it
• 3:05
Speaker 2: happen outside the box? That's the question.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: It's going to be close. Paxton scored Wednesday. A chance
• 3:11
Speaker 1: for two goals in two games. Brace is standing strong
• 3:14
Speaker 1: on his line. Aronson shrugs his shoulders. Approaches right foot.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: Silky smooth. And Colorado from the spot has opened the
• 3:27
Speaker 1: scoring against Club de Foot Montreal. We are at the
• 3:32
Speaker 1: minimum of three minutes. Dante Sealy with a quick throw
• 3:34
Speaker 1: in for Alexis. Alexis at the inline. Knocks it back
• 3:37
Speaker 1: up in the air. Headed clear by Colorado. Final whistle blows.
• 3:41
Speaker 2: That's it. The Colorado Rapids win.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: Three points richer and a new record set at home.
• 3:49
Speaker 1: Six consecutive games without conceding a goal. The Rapids have
• 3:56
Speaker 1: not allowed a goal since before the World Cup.
• 4:02
Speaker 2: Now six straight at home.
