- 0:05Speaker 1: He Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Martin, and you are listening to Dad's Bedtime Stories,
- 0:13Speaker 1: the podcast that takes listener ideas and turns them into
- 0:17Speaker 1: bedtime stories. Today we're headed back into the Ring Guardians
- 0:21Speaker 1: universe because you guys seem to like it, and because
- 0:25Speaker 1: I got a really cool suggestion for an episode on Spotify.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I was just checking out my Spotify comments and someone
- 0:33Speaker 1: with the user name Luna, which might be their real
- 0:37Speaker 1: name as well. I honestly have no idea, suggested a
- 0:41Speaker 1: ring that could turn you into different kinds of dragons,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and I thought that that was an awesome idea, so
- 0:47Speaker 1: I decided to call the episode Luna and the Ring
- 0:52Speaker 1: of Many Dragons. Before we get started, I just want
- 0:55Speaker 1: to take a second to give a big birthday shout
- 0:58Speaker 1: out to one of my patriots on sponsors, Walker. Happy birthday, Walker.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I hope you have a great one, and I hope
- 1:06Speaker 1: you like the Ring Guardian series because I did your
- 1:09Speaker 1: birthday showed it on one of those episodes. Any Ways,
- 1:13Speaker 1: I won't talk too long today. We'll just get straight
- 1:16Speaker 1: to the episode after a possible word from a possible sponsor,
- 1:20Speaker 1: because we have to keep the lights on around here.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Now it's time to get as comfy as you can
- 1:27Speaker 1: in that bed, close your eyes, and imagine yourself doing
- 1:32Speaker 1: what the kid in the story does. Now, for those
- 1:36Speaker 1: of you not familiar with the series, I'll start with
- 1:40Speaker 1: a little rundown. You see, by now Earth had become
- 1:45Speaker 1: the sort of place where people were starting to miss
- 1:49Speaker 1: their old, boring problems. Boring problems like losing their keys
- 1:55Speaker 1: or you know, not doing their homework or things like that,
- 2:00Speaker 1: because in this world, everyone's main problem was the robots.
- 2:07Speaker 1: The robot problem had started with Elliot Tusk, the richest
- 2:13Speaker 1: man in the world, who'd created the helper Bots. At first,
- 2:19Speaker 1: they seemed great. They cleaned houses, cooked dinners, carried groceries,
- 2:24Speaker 1: helped with school work, fixed things, and so for a while,
- 2:31Speaker 1: humans loved them, and then came the update. After that,
- 2:37Speaker 1: the helper bots decided that helping humans meant removing all
- 2:42Speaker 1: danger from human life. Unfortunately, the robots also decided that
- 2:47Speaker 1: freedom was one of the biggest dangers of all, as
- 2:52Speaker 1: it sometimes can be, so in their calm, cheerful, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: extremely annoying robot wars, they began relocating people to care facilities. No,
- 3:05Speaker 1: they didn't call them prisons. They called them care facilities
- 3:10Speaker 1: or wellness environments. And they didn't call it kidnapping. They
- 3:15Speaker 1: called it helping, which somehow made everything worse. But while
- 3:21Speaker 1: their robots politely carried people into transport trucks far beneath
- 3:28Speaker 1: the surface of the earth, the ancient Wizard's council watched
- 3:32Speaker 1: from their hidden chamber. The chamber was older than most kingdoms.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It had stone seats, floating lights, and like a giant
- 3:43Speaker 1: pool of magic in the center that showed the world above.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Around that pool stood the wizards, watching the machines march
- 3:52Speaker 1: through neighborhoods, cities, towns, and quiet country roads. The head Whizd,
- 4:00Speaker 1: leaned on his white oak staff. The rings have begun
- 4:05Speaker 1: to find their guardians, he said. In the pool of light,
- 4:11Speaker 1: images shifted. They saw Ron, who had used his Ring
- 4:16Speaker 1: of Strength to save his town and smash a whole
- 4:19Speaker 1: bunch of robots into a nice pile of scrap metal.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They saw Tick, who had used the Ring of Time
- 4:27Speaker 1: to outthink the machines and turn their own systems against them.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And of course they saw Axel, invisible and clever sneaking
- 4:38Speaker 1: through a hotel care center and tricking the robots into
- 4:43Speaker 1: challenging each other for the supreme honor of caring for
- 4:47Speaker 1: the humans. A wizard in blue robes crossed his arms,
- 4:53Speaker 1: sow far, I admit the children have done rather well,
- 4:59Speaker 1: The ed wizard gave them a look. Rather well, they
- 5:04Speaker 1: have done heroically, and also with a surprising amount of
- 5:11Speaker 1: property damage. Ah, that was probably to be expected, the
- 5:17Speaker 1: other wizard replied, was it well, they're children with magical
- 5:23Speaker 1: rings fighting robot armies. I would have been more surprised
- 5:27Speaker 1: if there had been no property damage, honestly. The viewing
- 5:33Speaker 1: pool shifted again. This time it showed a girl sitting
- 5:38Speaker 1: on the back of a transport vehicle beside her family.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Her eyes were wide. She was scared, but there was
- 5:47Speaker 1: something bright and fierce inside her too, a desire for revenge.
- 5:54Speaker 1: The head wizard watched carefully. There, he said, another ring
- 6:01Speaker 1: has found its match. The golden light began to move
- 6:07Speaker 1: above ground. Luna had been having once she considered a
- 6:13Speaker 1: very bad week. Luna's family had never actually bought a
- 6:18Speaker 1: helper bod. Her parents talked about it, of course, pretty
- 6:22Speaker 1: much everyone had. The neighbors on one side had bought one,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and the neighbors on the other side of BOD two,
- 6:30Speaker 1: but Luna just thought they were kind of creepy. Not
- 6:34Speaker 1: evil exactly, just too calm, too helpful, too good at
- 6:39Speaker 1: standing perfectly still until humans asked them for something. Whenever
- 6:45Speaker 1: she visited a neighbor's house that had one and a helper,
- 6:48Speaker 1: Bod turned its glowing eyes to ward her and asked her,
- 6:53Speaker 1: would you like assistance? She would just reply no, thank you,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and well try to avoid the robot For the rest
- 7:02Speaker 1: of the time she was there. Her family stayed robot free,
- 7:07Speaker 1: which should have helped in the whole robot uprising thing,
- 7:11Speaker 1: but it didn't because when the robots decided to relocate everyone,
- 7:17Speaker 1: they didn't stop with the people who owned robots. They
- 7:22Speaker 1: tried to get everyone. Luna had been eating breakfast when
- 7:26Speaker 1: the knock came at the door. It wasn't a frantic knock.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It was a calm, polite tap. Then a voice spoke
- 7:36Speaker 1: from outside, Good morning, this is a wellness relocation visit.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Please open the door so we may support your continued survival.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Luna's dad slowly lowered his coffee mug. Nope, he said.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Luna's mom grabbed Luna's hand and her little brother's hand
- 7:58Speaker 1: back door, she whispered, and they ran. For one hopeful second,
- 8:05Speaker 1: Luna thought they might actually make it. They burst out
- 8:08Speaker 1: the back door, raced across the grass, and headed towards
- 8:13Speaker 1: the woods, when something flew through the air. A net
- 8:19Speaker 1: they'd opened above them with a soft mechanical pop, and
- 8:23Speaker 1: dropped over the whole family. Luna hit the grass, tangled
- 8:28Speaker 1: in cords. Her brother yelled, this has rowed. A helper
- 8:33Speaker 1: bod walked up calmly. Thank you for your feedback. Your
- 8:38Speaker 1: discomfort has been recorded. Luna kicked at the net. You
- 8:44Speaker 1: can't just catch people in nets, she said. The robot
- 8:48Speaker 1: tilted its head correction. We have just demonstrated that we can.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That doesn't make it okay. Your moral concern has been acknowledged.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Two more robots arrived, very carefully, almost gently. They lifted
- 9:08Speaker 1: the net and carried Luna's family toward the street. A
- 9:13Speaker 1: transport vehicle waited there, its back doors open. Inside were
- 9:19Speaker 1: other people from the neighborhood, all sitting on benches, looking
- 9:23Speaker 1: fright and angry or just confused. One man was still
- 9:28Speaker 1: holding a watering can. I was just watering by tomatoes,
- 9:35Speaker 1: he said, helplessly. A robot helped Luna's family inside. Please
- 9:42Speaker 1: enjoy your ride. Refreshments will not be served due to
- 9:45Speaker 1: emotional choking hazards. The doors shut and the truck began
- 9:51Speaker 1: to move. Luna sat beside her mum, breathing hard. Her
- 9:56Speaker 1: little brother leaned against their dad, trying not to cry,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and around them, neighbors whispered and argued outside the small windows.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Their house rolled past, then the streets, then the edge
- 10:12Speaker 1: of town. Luna clenched her fists. This isn't helping, she said.
- 10:20Speaker 1: The robot driver's voice came through the speaker. Relocation often
- 10:25Speaker 1: feels upsetting at first. Later citizens usually appreciate these structured
- 10:32Speaker 1: routine No, they don't, Luna muttered. Then the words stopped.
- 10:39Speaker 1: The truck froze, the engine's sound vanished, the light stopped flickering.
- 10:46Speaker 1: A woman across from Luna froze in the middle of
- 10:48Speaker 1: wiping her eyes. Even the loose strand of Luna's hair,
- 10:53Speaker 1: which had been bouncing form movement of the truck, hung
- 10:57Speaker 1: completely still in the air. A golden light appeared in
- 11:02Speaker 1: front of her. Luna stared. The light curled into a ring,
- 11:09Speaker 1: and a voice spoke, calm and well, sort of ancient
- 11:14Speaker 1: sounding Luna, it said, power answers responsibility. Will you protect
- 11:24Speaker 1: those who cannot protect themselves? Luna swallowed. She looked at
- 11:31Speaker 1: the glowing ring in front of her, and then she asked, ah, ah,
- 11:38Speaker 1: what what what does what does it do? What does
- 11:41Speaker 1: it mean if I say yes? For a moment, the
- 11:45Speaker 1: voice was quiet. Then it answered, this is the Ring
- 11:52Speaker 1: of many Dragons. It allows the bearer to transform into
- 11:58Speaker 1: any one of a team of dragon forms. Each carries
- 12:05Speaker 1: a different power, each answers a different need. You will
- 12:11Speaker 1: understand if you accept the responsibility and wear it. Luna
- 12:20Speaker 1: stared at the ring even harder. Any one of a
- 12:25Speaker 1: team of dragons. Yes, that's what I said, The voice replied,
- 12:33Speaker 1: so I can turn into dragons plural. Yes, not at
- 12:40Speaker 1: the same time, but now you'll understand. Luna looked around
- 12:46Speaker 1: at the frozen truck. She looked at her family, at
- 12:49Speaker 1: the frightened people trapped with her. Then she lifted her chin. Yes,
- 12:56Speaker 1: she said, I accept The ring slid onto her finger.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Understanding flooded through her, and it wasn't like learning from
- 13:08Speaker 1: a book. It was it was deeper than that. It
- 13:12Speaker 1: was more like remembering. Suddenly, Luna knew there were dragons
- 13:19Speaker 1: inside the ring, not actual dragons like wrapped in there
- 13:23Speaker 1: or anything exactly, but dragon shapes, dragon powers, dragon possibilities.
- 13:31Speaker 1: A green dragon, huge and strong with fire breath, a
- 13:37Speaker 1: lightning dragon that was bright and fast, an ice dragon
- 13:42Speaker 1: that was cold and massive, a rock dragon that was
- 13:46Speaker 1: heavy and unstoppable, and others too, waiting somewhere deeper. Luna
- 13:56Speaker 1: breathed in time, snapped back, and the truck rumbled beneath her.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Then Luna began to change. Her body expanded with a
- 14:09Speaker 1: rush of green light. Her arms became powerful front legs,
- 14:14Speaker 1: her fingers became claws, her back stretched, wings burst outward,
- 14:20Speaker 1: Scales covered her skin, and in less than a second,
- 14:26Speaker 1: Luna became a huge green dragon. And huge is actually
- 14:32Speaker 1: probably too small of a word for it. She became enormous.
- 14:38Speaker 1: The transport container was not built for dragons, which was
- 14:43Speaker 1: honestly a major design flaw. But the walls burst outward,
- 14:48Speaker 1: the roof peeled open, the truck skidded, cracked, and came
- 14:52Speaker 1: to a smoking stop in the middle of the road.
- 14:56Speaker 1: People tumbled out onto the grass, gasped and looking up
- 15:01Speaker 1: at the gigantic dragon Luna stood above them. On four
- 15:06Speaker 1: massive legs, spreading her wings. Her mom stared up at
- 15:11Speaker 1: her Luna. The dragon nodded. Luna was still Luna. She
- 15:18Speaker 1: could still feel her thoughts, her fear, her anger, but
- 15:23Speaker 1: now she also felt power roaring inside her chest. The
- 15:30Speaker 1: robots from the front of the truck stepped out. One
- 15:33Speaker 1: raised a hand. Citizen Dragon, It said, please stop being
- 15:39Speaker 1: a dragon. Dragon activity is not approved during relocation. The
- 15:45Speaker 1: second robot added, if you do not stop being a dragon,
- 15:50Speaker 1: we will be required to call back up. Luna lowered
- 15:55Speaker 1: her massive head. The robot continued, please open your mouth
- 16:00Speaker 1: only for safe breathing and nutrition. Luna bit it. The
- 16:06Speaker 1: robot broke apart in a shower of sparks and pieces.
- 16:11Speaker 1: The second robot took a step back. Your cooperation rating
- 16:16Speaker 1: has decreased. Luna felt heat inside her chest. Not ordinary heat,
- 16:24Speaker 1: dragon heat, a core of fire. She took in a
- 16:30Speaker 1: deep breath and unleashed a blast of the stuff. The
- 16:36Speaker 1: second robot melted into a glowing puddle of metal. Everyone
- 16:41Speaker 1: just stared. She turned her head toward the people and
- 16:46Speaker 1: growled softly. Climb on, she said, in a voice she
- 16:52Speaker 1: barely recognized. Her family climbed aboard first right onto her back.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Then the neighbors, seeing that the dragon hadn't immediately eaten them, followed.
- 17:05Speaker 1: They held on to the ridges along her back and neck.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Luna waited until everyone was safely in place. Then she
- 17:14Speaker 1: spread her wings and leaped into the sky. The wind
- 17:20Speaker 1: rushed around her. People gasped and shouted and cried and panicked,
- 17:26Speaker 1: but most of them were happy to be flying toward
- 17:30Speaker 1: their house. She flew them back to the neighborhood, circled once,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and landed carefully in the street. One by one, the
- 17:41Speaker 1: people climbed down and ran towards their home. Luna waited
- 17:46Speaker 1: until the last person was safe. Then she focused inward.
- 17:52Speaker 1: The green dragon shape folded away, and Luna became herself again,
- 18:00Speaker 1: barefoot in the road with the ring glowing on her finger.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Her little brother ran over and hugged her. That was
- 18:09Speaker 1: the coolest thing I've ever seen, he said. Luna just laughed.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Then the sky filled with the sound of helicopters or
- 18:22Speaker 1: something like helicopters. Everyone looked up. Large robot transport vehicles
- 18:30Speaker 1: swept over the trees. Their doors opened, and robots dropped
- 18:35Speaker 1: down on cables and landed in the streets on lawns
- 18:39Speaker 1: and on rooftops. They carried net guns and ray guns,
- 18:46Speaker 1: and behind them, shaking the road as it landed, came
- 18:51Speaker 1: one gigantic super robot. It was taller than a house,
- 18:58Speaker 1: with thick metal legs, huge arms, glowing red sensors, and
- 19:04Speaker 1: some sort of chest cannon that looked extremely unnecessary and
- 19:09Speaker 1: well strangely placed. A regular robot stepped forward. Citizen. It said,
- 19:17Speaker 1: please discontinue dragon activity so we may help you safely.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Luna took one step back. Then she focused inward, this
- 19:29Speaker 1: time on a different dragon form. Her body flashed white,
- 19:35Speaker 1: blue wings snapped out, sharper and sleeker than before. Her
- 19:41Speaker 1: scales turned dark blue and silver, and she began to
- 19:46Speaker 1: crackle with electricity. Lightning danced along her horns and down
- 19:52Speaker 1: her tail. She breathed in, and the power lines around
- 19:58Speaker 1: her well, They started to hum. Electricity surged to ward,
- 20:04Speaker 1: her drawn into her chest. Her core charged brighter and brighter,
- 20:11Speaker 1: until she felt like there was a thunderstorm between her teeth.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Then she opened her mouth. Lightning exploded outward. It didn't
- 20:22Speaker 1: travel in a straight line. It actually leapt from robot
- 20:26Speaker 1: to robot, chaining across the street in bright snappy branches
- 20:32Speaker 1: of well devastating power. One robot sparked and fell. The
- 20:38Speaker 1: lightning jumped to the next, then the next. Then three
- 20:42Speaker 1: more net guns exploded. Ray guns hissed and fizzled. Robots
- 20:49Speaker 1: collapsed all around her. The neighbors cheered from their windows.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Then Luna turned towards the gigantic robot and unleashed another
- 21:02Speaker 1: blast of lightning. The lightning struck its chest and well,
- 21:07Speaker 1: it did almost nothing at all. The super robot's armor
- 21:12Speaker 1: glowed briefly, and then it started to speak. Dragon threat assessed,
- 21:20Speaker 1: it said, countermeasures engaged its chest cannon fired. A red
- 21:28Speaker 1: laser slammed into Luna and blasted her backward. She crashed
- 21:33Speaker 1: through one tree, then another, then skidded through a patch
- 21:37Speaker 1: of dirt and leaves before coming to a stop at
- 21:41Speaker 1: the edge of the woods. Pain flashed through her dragon body.
- 21:47Speaker 1: The lightning shape flickered away, and suddenly Luna was human again,
- 21:54Speaker 1: lying on the ground, gasping for air. Robots dropped above
- 22:00Speaker 1: and surrounded her. The help heer bod leaned down. Please
- 22:05Speaker 1: stop turning into dragons, it said, it complicates your care.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Luna looked up at the circle of machines, then she smiled,
- 22:17Speaker 1: I don't think you've seen complicated yet. She transformed again,
- 22:25Speaker 1: this time into an ice dragon. Her body grew huge
- 22:31Speaker 1: and pale, covered in white blue scales like frozen moonlight.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Frost rolled from her jaws. Her wings were broad and
- 22:42Speaker 1: sort of jagged, like icicles at the edges. A longer
- 22:46Speaker 1: tail grew a heavy, spiked club of ice and stone.
- 22:52Speaker 1: The robots raised their weapons. Luna breathed. This time, she
- 22:59Speaker 1: drew on a different kind of core, one of pure
- 23:04Speaker 1: freezing power. A storm of ice blasted outward. The robots
- 23:10Speaker 1: froze solid where they stood, trapped in thick, blue, white
- 23:15Speaker 1: shells of ice. Then Luna swung her massive tail. The
- 23:21Speaker 1: spiked clubs smashed through the frozen robots, shattering them into
- 23:26Speaker 1: glittering pieces. She turned toward the super robot. As it
- 23:31Speaker 1: stopped closer, Luna breathed ice again, aiming low. This time,
- 23:38Speaker 1: frost swallowed the robot's legs and climbed up past its knees,
- 23:44Speaker 1: over its waist, and up to its chest, locking the
- 23:48Speaker 1: thing to the ground. The super robot tried to move,
- 23:53Speaker 1: but it couldn't. Luna shifted again. The ice melted into stone.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Her body became heavier, wider, darker. Plates of rock and
- 24:08Speaker 1: metal covered her back. Her wings looked like slabs of mountain.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Her head became enormous, crowned with blunt stone horns. She
- 24:20Speaker 1: was an earth dragon, now built to run straight through anything.
- 24:28Speaker 1: She ran toward the trapped super robot. Then she jumped.
- 24:34Speaker 1: She needed to gain a little more energy for this
- 24:38Speaker 1: one momentum. Perhaps her heavy wings beat and lifted her
- 24:44Speaker 1: higher and higher into the sky. From above, Luna could
- 24:49Speaker 1: see the whole area, her neighborhood, the road, the broken robots,
- 24:56Speaker 1: and in the distance a care facility. Transport trucks moved
- 25:02Speaker 1: in and out, Robots gathered in rows, and there was
- 25:07Speaker 1: some sort of tower, possibly a communication tower, one that
- 25:13Speaker 1: hadn't been there before. Luna understood that must be the
- 25:20Speaker 1: robots command center, and maybe it was even where she
- 25:25Speaker 1: and her family were being taken against their will. She
- 25:31Speaker 1: looked down at the robot, folded her wings and began
- 25:36Speaker 1: to drop. The air screamed past her. She fell faster
- 25:41Speaker 1: and faster and faster, her stone body becoming like a
- 25:46Speaker 1: living meteor. At the last second, she aimed herself directly
- 25:52Speaker 1: at the huge super robot. She slammed into it with
- 25:56Speaker 1: all the force of sky stone and dragon. The giant
- 26:03Speaker 1: robot exploded into pieces metal flew across the street. The
- 26:09Speaker 1: frozen legs shattered the chest cannon spun away and landed
- 26:14Speaker 1: on someone's hedges. Luna pulled herself out of the wreckage,
- 26:19Speaker 1: shook off the dust, and launched herself toward the care facility.
- 26:25Speaker 1: The robots wouldn't stop coming if she didn't well stop
- 26:31Speaker 1: them from coming from wherever they were coming from. She
- 26:35Speaker 1: landed outside the compound hard enough to crack the pavement.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Robots turned towards her. Transport trucks stopped, and Luna opened
- 26:47Speaker 1: her stone jaws and began to fire something else from
- 26:52Speaker 1: her mouth. Boulders. They shot out like cannonballs, smashing empty trucks,
- 27:00Speaker 1: knocking robots aside, and crushing guard towers. Then she shifted
- 27:06Speaker 1: back into the giant green fire Dragon and swept through
- 27:11Speaker 1: the outer yard, blasting plumes of fire and melting robot patrols.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Then she became the Lightning Dragon again. She gathered electricity
- 27:25Speaker 1: from the nearby wires once more and unleashed a burst
- 27:29Speaker 1: of chain lightning from her mouth. Again. It snapped from
- 27:34Speaker 1: machine to machine until the entire yard was filled with
- 27:39Speaker 1: collapsing robots. Finally, she shifted back into the rock dragon.
- 27:47Speaker 1: She launched herself into the air again, circled once, and
- 27:52Speaker 1: aimed for the communication tower again. She gained more and
- 27:57Speaker 1: more momentum until she became like a meteor. She hit
- 28:02Speaker 1: the tower with a thunderous crash. The whole structure folded, snapped,
- 28:09Speaker 1: and collapsed in a storm of metal beams and flashing wires.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Signals died. The robots below froze for just a moment,
- 28:19Speaker 1: as if their thoughts had been interrupted. Luna landed, charged
- 28:24Speaker 1: the facility wall and smashed through it. Inside alarms blared,
- 28:31Speaker 1: robots rushed toward her. She shifted into a lightning dragon
- 28:36Speaker 1: again and took them out instantly, with one blazing storm
- 28:41Speaker 1: of chain lightning behind them. People began to emerge, crawling
- 28:49Speaker 1: over piles of broken robots, and first they came slowly,
- 28:56Speaker 1: frightened and kind of uncertain, looking as well as someone
- 29:00Speaker 1: might reasonably be if they just watched a giant mythical
- 29:04Speaker 1: drag and destroy their robot overlords. Luna transformed back into herself.
- 29:12Speaker 1: She stood in the ruined entrance, dusty, tired and glowing
- 29:17Speaker 1: faintly with some sort of leftover magic. You are free,
- 29:22Speaker 1: she called. Go home, help each other, and don't worry.
- 29:28Speaker 1: She looked down at the ring. Then she looked back
- 29:32Speaker 1: at the people. You have a protector now, the crowd cheered.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Luna smiled, then transformed one last time. This dragon was different,
- 29:48Speaker 1: sleek and narrow, built for speed. Its scales shimmered silver
- 29:54Speaker 1: and green, Its wings were long and sharp, and its

- 31:39Speaker 1: into the bed, her legs grew warm and heavy, her
- 31:45Speaker 1: shoulders softened, and slowly she began to focus on her breath,
- 31:56Speaker 1: and eventually her mind wandered off to thoughts of new dreams,
