- 0:31Work.
- 0:39Bike. Check.
- 0:41Mic check. 12. 12.
- 1:08Well, well, well, well.
- 1:11Looks like we're back, people. It's a beautiful day outside. It. It's not, it's not. It started raining last night, man, and we do for it, you know, I mean, we're Southern California, we don't get as much, but it's definitely needed.
- 1:29We're here today to acknowledge a very special, very special person that's been a part of our lives. And we have been that person before.
- 1:42And for some of us, we are still working, we still in the field. Not me, I've been retired. I've been retired. Now if somebody needed my assistance, somebody needed my support, I mean, I might, I might just throw the jersey on real quick just to help them out, okay? And I know y' all thinking, what is he talking about? 12 count. Let me tell you, King, Jeremy, let me tell you, okay?
- 2:13On an all time list, I might be top five all time, top five all time wingman.
- 2:24Now, I don't have the rest of that list.
- 2:27I'm not even, I'm not even about to put that together, right? But I know for a fact, I can't say that, I can't say that. I can't say. I know for a fact. I don't know everything, all right? I don't.
- 2:42But I feel like I'm top five, though. Wingman, that's a very important position in our lives. And at any moment in your life, you can become that wingman. Now there are certain steps and there's certain things that you need in order to enter the hall of fame. My Jack has been retired a long time ago, okay?
- 3:03It's crazy out there. You have to understand the importance of a wingman. You understand what I'm saying?
- 3:11You can get a wingman from anywhere and you can have different type of experiences because of that wingman, you know what I mean? Sometimes it could be a best friend, it could be a cousin, it could be a. It could be a little sister.
- 3:30Yes, yes. When you go down, I mean, let me just say this, a wingman is there to assist you at all costs. I mean, we're talking about John Stockton, Jason Kidd esque type of assist we talking here.
- 3:52Hell, I know some of y' all love Chris Paul. Chris Paul was a great point guard. He just retired this year. Throw CP3 up in there.
- 4:00Rondo Ish, you know what I mean?
- 4:04But we gonna get to it. We're gonna get to it because I. And. And I would love to know from y', all, like, have y' all ever been in the situation where y' all had to show y' all skills?
- 4:17This is important to know.
- 4:20If you out there and you need to learn some things about being a wingman, you in the right place.
- 4:26If you are do. If you consider yourself in a hall of fame of being a wingman, well, after I go through these, you know, different type of.
- 4:37What do you would say?
- 4:39We'll go over some pointers, you know what I mean? That'll help you get to get through that journey of the. Of going to the hall of fame.
- 4:48You're a great guy, great gal, but we gonna see because number one, the number one thing that you need to be an elite, an elite wingman.
- 5:00Personality trait. Your personality is everything, okay?
- 5:05That's the first thing that they gonna really notice outside of the looks. We'll get to that in a minute. But personality traits is a key component to anything that you start off, huh? That per. Them personality traits is gonna show in those bars.
- 5:23Them personal. Them personality traits is what hooks them. You're a salesman, okay? And you want to know. You don't want to oversell. You definitely don't want to undersell. I would tell you to oversell in the scale back because sometimes when you oversell, you could be doing too much. You never. Like we used to say, you never want to scare them away.
- 5:44You never want to scare them away.
- 5:47Now if you re. You know, if you fly, if you flip it. I said flop it. If you flip it. Women, I don't think men, you know, we don't get approached as much as women do.
- 5:59So when a woman does, and we have seen it before, I have seen it, and I got a couple of female friends who are in the hall of fame, definitely in the hall of fame. Shout out to J.
- 6:14Top tier wingman, right there.
- 6:19Dangerous.
- 6:21You understand what I'm saying?
- 6:23Personality traits, that matters.
- 6:26What are you gonna talk about? How are you gonna talk about it? The tone of your voice, huh? The topic, the bars, how you break them down.
- 6:36Are you gonna throw some metaphors in there? You don't want to overdo it, but you never want to. You don't never.
- 6:43You Never undersell. You cannot do that. Your personality trait is needed.
- 6:49And you can't come off lame.
- 6:52That's the thing. You can, you cannot come off lame.
- 6:56And to be able to, to be mentioned with the greats year after year, you can't, you can't.
- 7:03Lame shit can happen. We all, we all human. You know what I'm saying? It's not too many God tier wingmans out there.
- 7:11So some lame shit is gonna happen. Some. It's gonna be some shit that you say that you think is hot. It's just like rappers, everything them put out, they think they, they. Not everything is bars.
- 7:24But you don't want to have a streak of having some lame bars at all. We're gonna get to number two, the gift of gab. That ties in with the personality. You need to know how to talk about some shit that's important. The personality trait is knowing what to talk about. The gift of gab is how you talk about it, how you. You. It's a lot. You gotta persuade.
- 7:47You have to. You gotta go in there, you gotta make them feel comfortable. You gotta have. It's a gift.
- 7:54And even if you don't have that gift, you work on it.
- 7:59You might not have it, but you could work on having a gift of God. You could work on it.
- 8:05Hell, some of y' all been cosplaying. A lot of y' all don't really need. You could cosplay. You can go pick up your cosplay at Walmart.
- 8:13You know what I'm saying? They got different tiers, just like how they had them.
- 8:18Just, just like how they had those.
- 8:21What do they call those?
- 8:23I forgot what it was called because I ain't played 2K in a minute. But you can go, you can go. You can go buy some of that. You go buy some of that. It's not going to last and you got to update it. But when you got a natural gift to talk to somebody, that's what you need. That's. That's key right there. The next thing is we going with the triple P's for the third one. You need the triple P's. And you say, what's the triple P's? Well, I gave you one of them just a second ago. You got to be persuasive, persistent with precision, okay? Now the other ones you want to stay away from. You don't want to be too pushy, okay?
- 9:02You don't want to be too persistent, but you do need to, you know, it's just a way of doing it because Again, you might come across. Usually a wingman is thrown into the lion's den, you know, especially when it. When, when, when. When it's a group of women.
- 9:22Check it. Everybody not gonna like you. Everybody is not going to like you. You could be down to earth, but everybody is not gonna like you when you send to the pack. And. And this is mostly for the men. Sorry, ladies. Y' all gonna have to wait until the next round. And I'm gonna tell you why. Because it's different for y'. All. It's vastly. I mean, I'm talking about. It's different.
- 9:43It's different. The approach is different. The, the. The. The philosophy is different. So I don't even wanna. Some of y' all can get. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, y' all get down and. And I'll acknowledge y' all like I did earlier with the homegirl. Je. Some male, like, traits when it comes to being a wingman, you know. But overall, no, for the women, it's a whole totally different, you know, playbook.
- 10:13But for the men, persuasive, persistent precision.
- 10:17We gotta know how and you gotta know when to be persistent.
- 10:22Okay, Persuasive again. That's part of that gift of gab and personality traits.
- 10:27Gotta tie all of that in.
- 10:29But make sure.
- 10:31Make sure it's precise, though.
- 10:34You can't go. You can't go in there fumbling. You cannot. That's very important.
- 10:40Women pay attention to stuff like that.
- 10:43At least. At least the ones that you going after. You know what type of game that you need to use, depending on what group that is.
- 10:49If that's one of those groups where on a Saturday morning they walk into the corner liquor store in their pajamas. You probably ain't got to use that much persuade, you know. You probably ain't got to persuade them that much. I'm just being honest. The ones with the raccoon fur around the hood, the baby fat, the ones with this punch bob pajamas, curvy. You probably ain't got it. I'm just telling you the truth. I was, you know, I was raised on the east side. I know what I'm talking about.
- 11:18All right.
- 11:20You ain't probably don't have to persuade that much.
- 11:23You probably don't have to be persistent like that.
- 11:27But you damn sure wouldn't be precise no matter what, though. You damn sure want to be precise no matter what. That's important.
- 11:36The three P's.
- 11:37We're going with the three P's on that now. Friendly communication, that's the Next one. That's the next one. Friendly communication. Understand that we talked about personality trait traits, the gift of gab.
- 11:52But friendly communication is the approach, the energy that you create and keep it consistent.
- 12:03Knowing when to raise that energy, knowing how to control the room. Friendliness.
- 12:09They got to feel safe around you.
- 12:12Forget what. So forget what you saying. Forget what you trying to sell.
- 12:16Forget what you trying to describe. The whole nine. None of that matters if they don't feel safe in that moment.
- 12:24You got to. They gotta feel like it's gotta be an open type of friendliness. Like it's gotta be dandelions and warm honey with, you know, the.
- 12:38The Starbucks, a coffee cake type of. Please warm this up.
- 12:43It's got to be that type of friendliness. Okay?
- 12:47That's key. That's key. That's key with. With anything in life, to tell you the truth. Just be friendly in general, you know what I mean?
- 12:55The next one.
- 12:57This is very important.
- 12:59Hear me out. Turn your radio up. Volume is here. Smash. If you listening, this is. This is something that you should pretty much. This is a layup for you.
- 13:11Left and right hand layup. Whichever you don't. Hey, this is easy. The next one is embellish paintbrush.
- 13:21Break that down for me.
- 13:24I'm gonna break that down for you. We're talking about the embellished paintbrush. And what is that? It's beautiful. Lies.
- 13:33Sometimes you gotta put extra on shit.
- 13:36Again, you out here to help your homies?
- 13:40All right, now, upstanding citizens, you're gonna tell the truth. And I have told the truth before when I was like, you know, some girls may have seen a couple of friends and they were interested and they want to know, they want the deal. Like, hey, they know I'm friendly.
- 13:56They gonna ask me certain questions. Hey, what's up with you? What's up with your homie? Well, you know what I'm saying? I'm interested. Are they this way? That way, you know, And I. And I will have to give them the truth.
- 14:09I can't give them everything. I can't tell you how. How this particular person is in a relationship, because I'm not in a relationship type of business, but personality wise, I could say some.
- 14:21And the embellishment comes in where I'm gonna put. I'm gonna put 30s on. On the 10.
- 14:28I'm gonna put 50s on the 10.
- 14:30Yeah, that's my. Hey, that's my Dolomite. He dropped 83 the other night. That. He's nice. There's a video out there of A guy being recorded, he being filmed outside somewhere like that. I vaguely can remember the scenery and stuff like that, but I know he was. It was outside, he was talking to a young lady that he just met.
- 14:53And out of nowhere, a fan came through Those. Those are important too, by the way. Fan came through that follows his YouTube page.
- 15:02And the woman is looking like it felt like you were something, like, important, you know what I mean? She was like, well, what do you do? And stuff like that. Now he can go in there and be precise. He ain't even got to do nothing else. His.
- 15:19His fan who came out of nowhere and gave him some love. That was a wingman moment right there. That was a Dwyane Wade lob to Brian right there. You can't fuck this up.
- 15:31You cannot mess this up. That man. That man gave you the opportunity. That. That makes it easier for you. So whatever you was doing just got 30 times easier, 40% easier.
- 15:47Because now she's interested. She's asking questions. She's seen somebody go up to you, acknowledge you, and said, I am a fan. I love what you do. I follow you. You already tell what he's telling her or what she's picking up from that is he garners a lot of attention.
- 16:06People like him.
- 16:08If he got people coming up. And it's just an interesting.
- 16:12You sometimes you gotta tell, hey, yo, you know, my man's got a. He got a podcast too now that might not catch him, you know what I'm saying? Like, these new.
- 16:21I'm not even a podcast era type of. I was born before podcasting, so, you know what I'm saying? Our lives was a little bit. You know, our lives was a little bit different. And some of them wouldn't lie. Some of it was just.
- 16:34Again, we just added a little. We put some sugar in the grids with some butter. That's all we did. That's all we did. You gotta say something.
- 16:44Oh, yeah, 12 Cal. Yeah. Yeah, he played for.
- 16:47He played for South Carolina State. Yeah, yeah, no, that nigga.
- 16:53Yeah.
- 16:55Five touchdowns in one game only. Him and Al Bundy. You were only. That's the thing. Is. It is Al Bundy, then it's him, and it's like, technically, it's a tie.
- 17:05No. Yeah, that's my man's. Yeah, he real cool. Real cool. You know what I'm saying? And then when they do ask those questions that you really don't know the answer to, you don't have to lie. You can tell the truth, but you can make it sound good again. I don't know how 12 Cal is or was in his relationships, but I can say something like this when somebody say, hey, so what's up with your boy 12 Cal? Like, you know, you know, he been around long enough. I'm kind of digging him and stuff like that or whatever. How is he? You know what I'm saying? Then I'm gonna tell her, like, oh, yeah, 12 cow man. Yeah, I mean, unfortunately, his last relationship didn't work out. And then I might lie and make up a relationship. Like, yeah, he. He had a chick that he was, you know, I. I guess he was falling in love with and she just wasn't right for him. She wouldn't treat him right and unfortunately got his heart broke like, you. You making your. Yeah, and that probably did happen, but if it didn't, you better hurry up and tell.
- 18:07You better hurry up and tell him so he can get on board.
- 18:10But you gotta. Yeah, sometimes you just throw stuff out there. Like, yeah, my man, the other day we just flew out. Like, Yeah, I think 12 colleges came back from like Jamaica or something like that, but. And then, you know, so you just.
- 18:24Just throwing stuff out there.
- 18:26Hopefully. Hopefully 12 cow did visit Jamaica at one point in his life. If he didn't, that's a hard lie to keep up, but nonetheless, you got yo a part of your wingman special abilities. You got to know your homies, you know what I'm saying? Not. I'm not even talking about lie worthy. I'm talking about the fact that, you know, just certain things. If the actually did, you know, go out the country. He went to Paris before, but he ain't only been to Paris once and it was like six years ago.
- 18:57You use that. You know what I'm saying? Like, man, I remember that time me and my boy talk out. We was in. We had. Went to Paris real quick or whatever. Boom. You just. And you put an emphasis on the parish and real quick. Because now it seemed like this is something that y' all do all the time or whatever.
- 19:16And she could find out the year later. But that's what you gotta do when you embellishing. You gotta, you got, you gotta, you gotta. You gotta color that paper.
- 19:27You gotta make it vivid. You gotta make it live. You gotta make it believable. You telling the story literally.
- 19:34You have to do that.
- 19:36The next one after that, taking one for the team. Win, loss, column.
- 19:42Hear me out. Pull your seats up.
- 19:46Cut it down.
- 19:48Get your lighters out.
- 19:51Yeah, this is, this is one taking one for the team. This is extremely Important.
- 19:57Extremely important. Did I say important the first time? I probably did important. Okay?
- 20:08Sometimes you got to take an L, and sometimes you got to take an L and. And act like you enjoying it.
- 20:16Sometimes you gonna have that friend with the attitude.
- 20:20Yeah, yeah. Sometimes you gonna have that girl that you not attracted to, but you gonna make her feel so good that the friend is gonna be like, okay, like he has a dope friend.
- 20:38It. It's a. It's a lot.
- 20:40It's a lot. You might have to.
- 20:43You might have to. And. And. And the fellas know what I'm talking about.
- 20:49This is. This is what it is.
- 20:52This is what it is. Some of them. Some of them get judged by, oh, would you go to the mall with this girl or not?
- 21:00Sometimes you bump into a pack of girls at the mall. I'm going, look, I'm taking you back to high school. You bump into them at the South Bay Galleria, you know what I'm saying?
- 21:09And it's a pack of them. You go over there, it's a pack of five.
- 21:17And one of them might look like Evander Holyfield, but you got a.
- 21:21You just might have to.
- 21:25I'm only telling the truth today.
- 21:27All right?
- 21:29But that's important. You gonna take some L's as a wingman, your L column. Depending. Depending on your homeboy's taste, though. That's the crazy part.
- 21:39See, some of. Hey, some of your homies are getting out of control. Them just try. He. He tries to throw you in all type of shark tanks, and sometimes he not even supposed to be in the shark tanks. Sometimes the niggas supposed to be in there with the Oscars, okay?
- 21:56And. And Red Devils.
- 22:00Them shark tanks is out of his league.
- 22:02But that's your man.
- 22:04Shoot for the sky, you know what I'm saying? If a wingman is going to be able to go get you a shark, then, I mean, why, why, why go back down there?
- 22:14But then you also got the ones that you know, you know what type, you know what type he like.
- 22:21So you already know that circle.
- 22:25You gonna take some Ls, brother. You gonna take some Ls, let's see, what's the next one?
- 22:33This one is called Knight's Armor, AKA boldness and willingness to be rejected.
- 22:41You gotta understand this as a wingman, King Jaren, is that you putting yourself in a crossfire every time.
- 22:50That's where you're gonna learn how to be rejected.
- 22:53Because there's going to be some women that don't care what your homeboy look like.
- 23:00And you might not be looking the best at the moment.
- 23:04That's all important. Everything has to go right. You have to.
- 23:09You have to go. You.
- 23:16I'm telling you right now, like, you gotta win at least 79. 79 games during the season. Okay?
- 23:24You have to.
- 23:26You have to.
- 23:30But you gotta understand the rejection, though. You have to understand the rejection. Y' all not always gonna get em. Majority of the time. Hold up. If you're gonna make it to the hall of Fame, you better.
- 23:42But you gonna take some L's not. Just. Not just like. I know. I just finished talking about, you know, taking one for the team. No, sometimes the team don't wanna be taken.
- 23:54You know what I mean? Sometimes your team is not.
- 23:58Y'. All. Y' all gonna come across some elves some nights, and that's okay. That's okay. Sometimes you're gonna get thrown into a shark tank and you're gonna get your ass bit up and spit out, and that's what it takes sometimes. But don't let that be. Don't let that be a winning record, though. Don't let that be a winning record, though. You know, Let me rephrase that. You don't want to have a winning record in the L in the L column, if that makes sense.
- 24:29Okay, you wanna be able to win these games okay, you wanna be able to win these goddamn games at the end of the day.
- 24:38Cause rejection is gonna happen.
- 24:40But rejection also is supposed to teach you how well you lost. And sometimes you can't control those L's. Sometimes. We all met the girl in the club who was a fullback.
- 24:52Yeah, they were offensive linemen. And I'm not talking about size don't come for me. I'm talking about as far as you blocking your homegirl blessings. Soon as we pull up on her, your friend come in there like, ah, right, Just step in between.
- 25:06She don't. And she don't do this and she don't do that. You know what I'm saying? It seemed like they was always the driver.
- 25:14The one with the attitude is the one is the driver.
- 25:17So you gotta go, true story.
- 25:21True story. So, I mean, look again, you gotta. You can't be afraid of rejection. It's gonna build character. At the end of the day, it's going to build character, but you gotta. You gotta be trained for it. You got to be ready for it. Because those is. Is those comments is gonna be right there.
- 25:44It was. No, it wasn't. No, read the comments back in the day before the Internet. Had to get it feedback right Then and there in public.
- 25:53All right, and the next one, we're going with Style Fashion, AKA the presentation.
- 26:01Hey, man, y' all can't be going up there looking like who did it and why.
- 26:06You know, you might. You, you, you, you. You can get away with it if you like working out. That's always a good one. Now they seeing you in your raw state, you know what I'm saying? He's. Oh, he cares about his health.
- 26:19You know, he working out. That means he's. He's using his. His. His downtime to. To. To upgrade his. His. His physical body. You know what I mean? That says something.
- 26:32You know, a lot of times a wingman is using a situation where we're not at an event or we're in public, you know what I'm saying? Outside of the gym, you know what I'm saying? The clothes matter. Throw on those fours. Wear it right, though. Don't be out there sagging. Put your pants up. I remember I went to this one club, A lounge, me and my boy Dahvie. And then I'm gonna give y' all a story about me being a wingman. That was kind of cool.
- 27:01It happened on Sunset. But anyway, we was at this lounge downtown, and I remember dancing with this girl or whatever. We finished dancing, we danced a couple of times, and I think it was like one of those. One of those breaks where, you know, I'm not necessarily dancing to this song. We just chilling, you know what I'm saying? We already sweating and stuff like that. As a matter of fact, I think that's the night I met gromo.
- 27:28Yeah. Mo McCray. If y' all don't know who Grandmo is, he was. He was. He was one of the. He was the quarterback in a gridiron gang.
- 27:37Anyhow, that night, I. Messing with this chick. And then I think I went to the bar. That's what it was. I went to the bar to go get a drink or something like that. Now, you know how you lean over, talking to the bartender, etc. Etc. Etc. So I'm waiting on the drinks, and she comes behind me, and she pulls up my pants. She said, pull your pants. She said, that's not cute or whatever. And I got the message. I got the message. You know, this is the college years. So it's like, you know, these.
- 28:10You know, we talking about young adults. And she was a mature young adult, and she was like, hey, man, put your pants up, man. This. This shit ain't cute. You know, that's her way of saying this not just something that's not going to turn me on. I might like you. You know what I'm saying? I got another chick that night. Anyway, um.
- 28:30But yeah, presentation matters, man. Dress right, look right, smell right, you know, Take care of your breath, you know? If you learn anything from the wood, make sure you get those mints, you know, make. Gotta make sure your breath smelling good.
- 28:46That's important. Hygiene.
- 28:48Hey, y' all niggas put on deodorant, take a shower, okay? It's okay with taking two showers a day. Wake up in the morning, take a shower. Take a shower before you go to bed.
- 28:58I know that's kind of crazy because if you say, well, if you go to bed, you take a shower, then go to bed. You're gonna wake up and take a shower. What's wrong with taking two showers? I like to be extra cleaned, okay? Sometimes in the summertime, when it's too hot and I've been ripping and running, running errands and stuff like that, sometimes I take anywhere between two or three showers a day.
- 29:17Not every day, but. So, yeah, I love taking showers. And from time to time, I take a bath. I like my bathtub. It's a nice sized bathtub, you know what I'm saying? Sometimes you got to sit there and think about life, you know what I'm saying? Wash your legs, okay?
- 29:35But hygiene is important. Hygiene is important. Before you talk to any woman's.
- 29:41Any woman's. You go out there, you a.
- 29:44You go back in the house, you wash your ass. Put on some deodorant lotion down, put on a.
- 29:50A goddamn skin cream, a body cream, whatever.
- 29:55Get you some cologne or somebody, whatever.
- 30:01Get some smell goods. I call them the yum yums. Pulling your yum yums. Okay, Get a haircut. Line up. Lineup is very pivotal to anybody, especially a wingman. Get your lineups, okay?
- 30:16Check your fit game. Make sure you are approachable. Make sure when you pull up, they looking like, damn, is this nigga?
- 30:24He about to start talking to us. Not only is he about to start talking to y', all, but he's trying to put his man's on. And if you. And if you. You build that trust, if you friendly, if you got a good personality trait, all right? You embellish on them lies. You in the game. You what you. Hey, hey, hey.
- 30:43Go out there and start fishing, okay? Do it the right way. Hygiene is everything. Smell good. All right? Style. Fashion. Presentation. Number seven.
- 30:54I mean, how did I get to number seven? I ain't said a number of I think it's how I got it labeled anyway. We're just gonna roll with it. Just roll with it. Number seven, Transportation you cannot be. Now, don't get me wrong. Some of the greatest wingmen of our time didn't have a car.
- 31:13They had everything else, but they did not have a whip, for whatever reason. And it's possible, but it makes the game so much easier because a wingman would also have. You lent out your car before. I have.
- 31:28I have.
- 31:30That's how. That's how deep my bag is.
- 31:35Niggas needed to use my car a couple of times.
- 31:39That was. It's the dumbest thing when you in your early to mid-20s and you let niggas use your car. That's stupid. I'm just telling you that right now. That's stupid. Unless you. Unless it's stupid regardless, because you never know what could happen. And it's going. You know, it's your responsibility for the car. Your parents are going to be on your ass.
- 32:03Not supposed to let nobody drive your car. Especially if they don't. If they. Not on your own insurance or whatever the case may be. But you know what it is.
- 32:10But part of being a wingman is you let niggas use your car sometimes. They needed that. Hey, Baylor, I need to use your car. I need to go take her. I need to go pick up this.
- 32:20That's part of being a great wingman, you know what I'm saying? Especially.
- 32:25Especially. Oh, I'm get to the story. So before I get to the last one, the last one is. Is important, but before I get to the last one, I want to tell my. One of my wingman stories. We own Sunset. This is one of those nights. We own Sunset. It's Saturday night. We in the whip.
- 32:42And if y' all know Sunset, you know, both ways is just packed. You know, niggas just walking the streets. You know, the Comedy Store, strip clubs, niggas is hopping out of cars and stuff like that. And that's what I did as a wingman. As a wingman, you gotta.
- 33:02Sometimes you gotta make certain moves.
- 33:06And hopping out of the car was one of those moves we put up on some weird. On some.
- 33:11They went to Cal State la, right?
- 33:14Cal State LA is in the cut, and you can get there off the TN Freeway, by the way. Cal State la. And they dorm rooms are different. They dorm rooms is like, I don't. I don't want to make. I don't want to make this up. But it was.
- 33:32No, no, no. This is it. There Was four rooms.
- 33:36It was four rooms to an apartment.
- 33:38I don't know if the apartment or the dorm room. It wasn't the door. Well, because everybody dorms is pretty much the same.
- 33:45It was two to a dorm. But they it this, these were apartments. These were campus apartments, I think because. But they came with four rooms, so that's eight, nigga. Look, all I knew, I. Look, I know math nigga. If it's four rooms, that's eight.
- 34:04Nothing less than I did. I know if, if his in that apartment, it could be. It could be four rooms. 12, 12, I mean, wanted to move out of their people's house. They mom's house, they dad's house, their parents house so bad they was willing to pay 3, 400amonth for a couch in the living room. Let's talk about the college day.
- 34:28Anyhow, they went to camp, they went to Cal State la.
- 34:33Like, you know, we driving and they was actually, they was going the same way we was going. But they was in a.
- 34:39They was in the other lane. Let's just say we was in the. The left lane, they was in the right lane. So we pull up. It was two of them. It was three of us, but two of them.
- 34:49I'm not gonna tell you no names.
- 34:51Adabi was with me.
- 34:58We. It was again, it was three of us. It's two of them.
- 35:01Wingman, hall of Famer and Baylor. I get out, we talking to them from the window. At first, blah blah blah. Then I was like, all right, I'm about to, I'm about to hop in.
- 35:13So you know, you. Because you're only going, you're only going 2 miles per hour. So everybody see you. You know what I'm saying? It's. It's like, it's like being on the 405 Freeway at 6pm is bumper to bumper and you barely moving like. And then when you make that U turn, when you get to. I forgot what street it is, you hopping your ass right in traffic. We've. We was over gas back then, early 2000, so it wasn't too crazy.
- 35:41So I hop out, I hop out the. The homie vehicle and I get in a vehicle. I get in the back seat and I chop it up with him. I'm elite, all right? Elite. I'm friendly. I'm coming off as friendly. My personality traits is a one, okay? I'm embellishing. Yeah, that's my boy. You know, such and such. He go to this school. But I'm not, I'm not. I mean, I'm not lying, but I'm. I'm, you know, I'm really.
- 36:11I'm really embellishing. Oh, yeah, that's my boy Dobby or whatever. And then. And then.
- 36:17Don't let them help you. Oh, he. He looks like he's a. That's a. He looks like he's a teddy bear.
- 36:23Who? Dabby. Hey, man, you want. You. Hey, I let him know you want to cuddle with that teddy bear. And you. You just got to know what to do. You gotta, you know, you gotta capitalize on any compliments. Okay? So I'm in the back seat. Friendly, you know, persuasive, precise.
- 36:42Don't have to be persistent because I'm already in there. They already let me in a safe space. I'm in their car.
- 36:48I'm in their car, no seatbelt on, in the back seat. Gaming them up. All right, I'm talking to the driver. And then you got the passenger seat. They was like, well, y' all can follow us back to the dorms, right?
- 37:06Invitation accepted.
- 37:09We get back to the dorms, they let us know out the gate, hey, my room. I got a couple of roommates here. I'm not sure if all my roommates is here, but I know a couple of roommate. And she wasn't lying. This how. This. This how we found out that it was four rooms to apt, right? So we go up in there, we like, damn, y' all got four rooms. I was like, it's eight of y'. All.
- 37:31And she was like, well, seven of us right now, but we'll be getting roommate soon, right?
- 37:39It was a girl in there studying. She was. And we. And. And look how respectful we. We were. Like, we sit up there, we talking to all our roommates. Not all. All in one there. I think it was like, with them too. I think it was like only three of them there. So it was a total of five girls. Five girls. Three guys, two girls that, you know, that I jumped in the car with. And then three that was already there. One was studying the. The other two were like. I think they were like, talking to each other in the living room, like, cooking and stuff like that.
- 38:12So again, I'm occupied with the. With the driver. That's my main. I locked in on that. She locked in on me. Friendliness, friendly. All right? So it don't make no sense. Don't mess this up. As a wingman, you can't be greedy. Greedy is not a part of this, okay? Never be greedy in a situation like this because you can mess it up. You can Spoil it.
- 38:35Never be greedy. If you locked in. If the target is.
- 38:39If there is a target and that target is understood to be the target, you don't go look for another target. You just don't. That's being greedy.
- 38:49But her roommate was bad, the one in the room studying. I'm talking about 90s fine.
- 38:56And she wasn't playing no games. Like we stood out of Oath. This is what I meant by respect. We didn't cross the. We was kind of like the vampires. We didn't cross the door. We stay right there in the door and in the door frame. We stay right there.
- 39:11And we was just talking to her from there. And she was. She was. And she never stopped. She never stopped studying, but she, you know, was talking to us, you know what I'm saying? We cracking jokes and stuff like that. And, and. But we were.
- 39:26My friend at the time wasn't persistent towards it, you know what I'm saying? He built it. He was building it brick by brick. Nice friendly personality traits, the whole nine. And didn't have. He didn't have to lie about nothing. He was telling. He was talking about his college life at the college he goes to, but he wasn't persistent at all. And that one, that one fell through. That one, he dabby. Ended up getting eliminated from that from Cal State la.
- 39:54Then it was just me and the other homie, you know what I'm saying? We, you know, to spoil the Cal State chapter. We was going back up there for probably about a half a year or something like that, back and forth until we just. I don't know what happened to him. We just didn't keep in touch or something. I don't know. Anyhow, the passenger in the car, she ended up messing with the homie and I had to drive her, you know what I mean? So that's how that ended up. But it all started with me building that.
- 40:28That trust for them to allow me to get in the car, you know what I'm saying?
- 40:33And. And that's how it went down. So the last one, this is very important.
- 40:38This is very important. This ties everything together.
- 40:41The Scottie Pippen versus MJ role.
- 40:45All right, so you saying. What is that? Well, if you know basketball, you know what Scottie Pimpin, what he was meant, you know, towards like, like to Jordan and vice versa, right?
- 40:59Scottie Pippen was a Swiss army knife, you know what I mean? He was a point. He was a point, point forward.
- 41:10You know, he could shoot the three ball. His defense was elite and he had solid Offense, you know what I mean? He was good enough to carry the Bulls to the playoffs by himself, you know, without mj, you know, he, his offense was very, it was also a very precise, it wasn't flashy, you know, but he did, he got, he got a lot of highlights as far as dunking on. Shout out to Patrick Yan, you know, what was my name? What was the point guard from the Pacers that got the Travis Best?
- 41:45Shout out to Travis Best. Asked him two, ask him two niggas. But yeah, Scottie Pippen, you know, he was basically LeBron before LeBron. Maybe not as quick, maybe not as athletic as Bron, cause. Cause we haven't seen a player like Bron before.
- 42:03But as far as an all around player, that was Scottie Pippen and his role was to play top tier defense on the other team's best player, you know what I mean? So basically Scottie Pippen in this situation, as far as being a wingman, is basically diminishing his role to make the friend look better, to make sure MJ get all his shots. You're MJ in this equation. I'm Scottie Pippen. I'm making sure I get past the friend with the attitude, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:41I make sure that I don't embellish too much, but I'm making you look good, you know what I'm saying? I'm making sure that I'm making them feel safe, you know, and they feel safe. They gonna trust me to bring whoever I'm with, you know what I'm saying? So that's what the Scottie Pippen role is now. The MJ wingman, that's straight gunner. Mj. The MJ is all scoring, all scoring. And you don't have to necessarily worry about defense. Can you play defense? Absolutely. Elite defense. But your scoring is so prolific.
- 43:20That is, you don't, you don't never need the defense. You don't never need to block old girl. Because your game is so swift, so smooth, like jazz that they just gonna roll with it. It's almost hypnotizing.
- 43:36That's the MJ role as a wingman, you striking, all right, but don't be afraid to switch it up from time to time.
- 43:46That Scottie Pippen roll is very, very, very useful.
- 43:52Probably one of the most dope is useful. Deepest baggage that you could have as a wingman is a Scottie Pippen, you know, package. Pause that if needed because it's like saying like layup package. That's how I'm saying it before y' all weird niggas. But you got. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid to go that route, because that's the one who. Who, Who. Who's dishing a rock out. Who can score, who can play defense friendly.
- 44:24And that's the wingman hall of fame right there.
- 44:27Now, if y' all got anything else to add, feel free to. To hit me up and let me know, but I'm pretty sure I covered all bases right here.
- 44:35Now, there might be different scenarios and different situations, different events where there's other traits that you might need, but that you will have to subscribe to my wingman tutorial course.
- 44:58Hey, no, I should charge for that. 4.99.
- 45:02Yeah, that's a good. That's a good deal, right? 4.99. I'll tell y' all to become. And it's not on the red pill stuff because, like, you know, unlike them, you have to be.
- 45:12You have to be friendly, and you have to have so much respect for women.
- 45:17You have to. Matter of fact, you got to send me a video showing me how you're respectful to women, and I'll put that. You. You put that. Attach that to the. To your application.
- 45:28All right, all right. But y' all go on there. Y' all work, y'. All. Hey, look. And again, it's ageless.
- 45:36You know, it could. That wingman card don't expire. You can retire if you want to, because that's a choice.
- 45:44But, you know, ain't no age limit on being a great wingman. All right.
- 45:50All right, man.
