- 0:12Speaker 1: To seven every weekday on Radio horacka.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hello, hey guys, into the week a keyesy is full
- 0:21Speaker 2: of energy today, though, aren't you mate?
- 0:22Speaker 1: You're excited that you're going away fucking fizz dart. You're
- 0:25Speaker 1: out there.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Commentating a rugby final from two thousand and four or
- 0:30Speaker 2: some shit. That's right, absolutely fucking into it.
- 0:34Speaker 3: That's because it was the only year the bay Plony
- 0:36Speaker 3: won the Ranfully Shield. And I remember going to like
- 0:39Speaker 3: the last six games at home of their season and
- 0:41Speaker 3: having like banners and stuff, right, and that was the
- 0:43Speaker 3: last time I was like proper into like a proper
- 0:46Speaker 3: you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 2: But mostly into the fact that you're going to Sydney,
- 0:50Speaker 2: because any other day of the week you could given
- 0:52Speaker 2: a fuck about that plane on there.
- 0:53Speaker 1: No I would have.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Oh no, I don't think you would have, not a
- 0:56Speaker 2: way that you were. You were absolutely into it.
- 0:58Speaker 3: No, because what happened there, and this is not like
- 1:00Speaker 3: I'm going on holiday thing is I haven't seen Wayne
- 1:03Speaker 3: Normand captain of the bay Planey Steamers in fifteen years.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I thought about him, sure, and then all of a
- 1:08Speaker 3: sudden he's on the telly and I'm like, holy ship,
- 1:11Speaker 3: Wayne normand oh my god, Adrian cash More well to be.
- 1:14Speaker 3: You couldn't remember his name, that's right, I remember the number.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I don't even remember that he played for. Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 1:22Speaker 3: And I remember one time I was at the gym
- 1:24Speaker 3: down on the Red Square there in Totunger and I
- 1:26Speaker 3: was on the league press in this most ripped airs
- 1:28Speaker 3: hot dude came.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Over at this point, how long you fella is going
- 1:31Speaker 2: to be? Like fifteen? Sure, I just started at the gym,
- 1:34Speaker 2: right and this when I was twenty six. Yeah, this
- 1:38Speaker 2: feller came up. He was ripped and fell is going
- 1:40Speaker 2: to be much longer on that And we turned around.
- 1:41Speaker 2: We're like, no, you can have it.
- 1:42Speaker 3: And it was yours, Adrian Cashmore wearing the tightest thing
- 1:46Speaker 3: that you've ever seen, looking.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Like a donis. It wasn't a stringlet, it was just.
- 1:50Speaker 2: A good like I reckon club issue training singlet. I
- 1:54Speaker 2: just saw a USC fighter at the gym. Yeah, big
- 1:59Speaker 2: mother the fucker. He is heavyweight.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Oh I think he's light. Oh wow, Okay. Jesez It's so.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Funny, isn't it, Because you just think everybody down there,
- 2:07Speaker 2: including me, exercising to try and look good, and this
- 2:10Speaker 2: guy just fucking clean your clock in half a second.
- 2:14Speaker 2: He's like twenty two or some shit, twenty three. It
- 2:18Speaker 2: wasn't you just punched your fucking head off your shoulders.
- 2:20Speaker 2: It must be such a great feeling to know that
- 2:24Speaker 2: you can do that.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I imagine you've got.
- 2:28Speaker 2: If something happens, you've got a ninety nine point nine
- 2:31Speaker 2: chance of not being the guy on the floor. Yes,
- 2:34Speaker 2: but I was also thinking about him how tough it
- 2:36Speaker 2: would be because I just wouldn't go out if I
- 2:39Speaker 2: was just a target. Yeah, you'd have to have an early,
- 2:45Speaker 2: an early rap. You'd have to knock it on the
- 2:47Speaker 2: head at about ten o'clock, I reckon And by knocking
- 2:49Speaker 2: on the head, you mean go home, not knock someone's head.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And yeah, yeah that because it'll be so annoying. There'd
- 2:55Speaker 2: be so many people trying to fucking prove them.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Well, that's that's the fun That's the funny thing is
- 2:59Speaker 3: when you do box. I think I've talked about it
- 3:01Speaker 3: on this before. When I was like studying, there was
- 3:03Speaker 3: a Multai gym around the corner from our hall. So
- 3:05Speaker 3: we're like stuff that there's nothing going on in christ
- 3:07Speaker 3: Church post earthquake, should we just start doing muy thai.
- 3:10Speaker 3: There's like four of us that's did it for like
- 3:12Speaker 3: six months, and the guys there, the ones learning how
- 3:15Speaker 3: to do it, would intentionally go to town looking for
- 3:18Speaker 3: fights and they've just and honestly, it was the most
- 3:21Speaker 3: toxic bullshit ever.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Just the worst kind of person.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, And and then you get to a point where
- 3:26Speaker 3: you're so good at it that you're actually looking for
- 3:27Speaker 3: ways to not fight people because you know you've mastered it,
- 3:30Speaker 3: you've clocked it.
- 3:31Speaker 1: You don't have to prove yourself. That's so true. Man,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you guys are I just ran my yet for two
- 3:39Speaker 1: poke son has done about nothing.
- 3:43Speaker 4: We talked about the main phiry shield, and we've talked
- 3:45Speaker 4: about kicking people's heads and two of my favorite come on.
- 3:49Speaker 2: You've got opinions about that that I walked in and
- 3:51Speaker 2: I seen excited about the weekend.
- 3:52Speaker 1: PAGs go for the week and.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Men, you're a little bit but I don't know of
- 4:02Speaker 2: elegance and your brother a little bit of elegance.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Easy.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Look three hundred and fifty dollars bill for the mechanics
- 4:13Speaker 4: and just a steady Friday. I have my coffee a
- 4:15Speaker 4: little bit too late, so I'm catching up. I'm catching sorted.
- 4:20Speaker 4: So it's a real tough one.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Well, I love it, I love I love the challenge.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's if we're going to do themes, they
- 4:28Speaker 2: should be fucking stupid like that, and then we just
- 4:31Speaker 2: have to although the problem there is how do you
- 4:33Speaker 2: find But you just gotta it's got to be like.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You've just got to really, you've got to show up.
- 4:42Speaker 1: You make the connections yourself.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, see I did have one, and I think
- 4:48Speaker 4: I've got a little bit too liberal with the connections.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Right, Well, it can be your backup.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I think it will be my backup. And I've got
- 4:55Speaker 4: another one that is just not as good of a song,
- 4:58Speaker 4: but it connects to the theme more. Also, that's the
- 5:01Speaker 4: kind of predicament that I'm meant.
- 5:02Speaker 3: The weird thing was when you see the theme, I
- 5:04Speaker 3: was like, fuck off, it's so stupid.
- 5:08Speaker 2: The whole Wacky Big Show week days from four on
- 5:11Speaker 2: Radio Hdarky remember the Warky Big Show podcast.
- 5:17Speaker 3: And less than a minute later I had a throbber
- 5:20Speaker 3: in mind, right, I had a throbber.
- 5:22Speaker 1: In my mind, a huge throubber on the brain.
- 5:24Speaker 3: And then that's not even the one that I've decided
- 5:26Speaker 3: to use. That's actually my bakup, that's my best. So
- 5:30Speaker 3: tell Pegs and then he'll make no, No.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I don't want to know. I don't want to do
- 5:34Speaker 1: a hoodie. What I was doing for the weekend? What
- 5:36Speaker 1: do you got on, Pegsam?
- 5:37Speaker 4: What have I got on tonight? I'm going to my
- 5:40Speaker 4: good friend's house for dinner because I haven't got up
- 5:43Speaker 4: with them in ages. We were going to go out
- 5:44Speaker 4: for dinner, but they have two dogs. They certainly are
- 5:48Speaker 4: and so they don't want to sort out of dogs.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That what I'm saying, Yeah, yeah, one of those. And
- 5:54Speaker 1: then what to your cat? He's gone?
- 5:57Speaker 4: Alright?
- 5:57Speaker 1: I thought he was.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I heard that he might be on the way out
- 6:00Speaker 4: of maybe a week ago or so.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So WHENDT said my goodbyes to him, and then turns
- 6:04Speaker 1: out he was just gone.
- 6:07Speaker 4: It never came with you, and you know, very grateful
- 6:13Speaker 4: for that. And then tomorrow, what am I doing Tomorrow?
- 6:16Speaker 4: I've got to clean my car. Has got a guy
- 6:18Speaker 4: coming to view my car, which is why I had
- 6:20Speaker 4: getting a service Today it's the Mechanic's bill, and then
- 6:23Speaker 4: Sunday I'm going to take the ferry out to go
- 6:29Speaker 4: for a little wonder there and then a gig Sunday night.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Who's playing Lime Cordial? Yeah call there, so that'll be fun,
- 6:37Speaker 1: bloody beautiful.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Yeah, how about yourself? Man?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Not much Edmund, A lot of Edmund mate from wellington's
- 6:45Speaker 2: going to be up. He's interviewing for a job and
- 6:49Speaker 2: so I'm going to sketch up with him tomorrow. Avo,
- 6:52Speaker 2: my sister in law's coming up and she's bringing heaps
- 6:54Speaker 2: of her ship up from Wellington.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Is this a sister in law that we knows? A
- 6:58Speaker 1: sister in law that was a cousin were party?
- 7:02Speaker 2: I'm thinking party? Oh was she there? She listens to
- 7:06Speaker 2: this and I remember distinctly you've been there, Ceilier and
- 7:09Speaker 2: it was great.
- 7:10Speaker 1: She is the star of the show.
- 7:11Speaker 2: She was Was she okay? And no, No, it's a
- 7:16Speaker 2: sister in law. So she works in film and she's
- 7:18Speaker 2: coming up to pick some stuff up or drop some
- 7:20Speaker 2: stuff off for a movie that she's working on. But
- 7:23Speaker 2: so she's also bringing furniture for us. So yeah, there
- 7:27Speaker 2: are we good getting all her ship up from well
- 7:29Speaker 2: intern and most of it will go on the bin, but.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's good to bring it up here. That's great.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And then some admin, I've accidentally done a similar thing
- 7:38Speaker 3: to what I did when I flew to Bali and
- 7:39Speaker 3: I was in business class and Lucy was in economy
- 7:43Speaker 3: that yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 2: You've actually accidentally done something again that you did deliberately before. No,
- 7:51Speaker 2: it was supposed to work out that she'd be sitting
- 7:53Speaker 2: next to me. Could but if she didn't have ship
- 7:56Speaker 2: up front.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Because she chose the amount we were bidding for her
- 7:59Speaker 3: seat and I wanted to bid more and she's like, no,
- 8:01Speaker 3: that should be enough, and then she didn't get it right, you.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Know what I mean. Whereas if it was me, I
- 8:06Speaker 1: would have just but you know.
- 8:07Speaker 2: On this occasion, would you, since you've had it before,
- 8:09Speaker 2: would you not upgrade her this time?
- 8:10Speaker 1: And it's not the same situation, And yes, that is
- 8:13Speaker 1: what's going to happen. No, we were.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Booking tickets to Sydney, and we booked a ticket and
- 8:18Speaker 3: then went and it was like, oh, it's what let's
- 8:21Speaker 3: just say it was two undred dollars each per person,
- 8:23Speaker 3: and then I went, okay, we'll change that from one
- 8:25Speaker 3: person to two and it went up to like three
- 8:27Speaker 3: hundred and fifty dollars each. Yeah, and so I was like,
- 8:29Speaker 3: hang on, so I'll book mine. Obviously it was at
- 8:33Speaker 3: the threshold where they up the prices. So I booked
- 8:36Speaker 3: one ticket for two hundred, which was me, and then
- 8:38Speaker 3: the second ticket we booked for three fifty, right, rather than.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Two for three fifty. I'm with you, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 3: However mine, because i'm Codo and stuff, I get the
- 8:46Speaker 3: works upgrade or some shit for free. And so I've
- 8:49Speaker 3: got a meal and Lucy gets a small packet of chips.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Nice. But she's sitting next to me, so she could
- 8:55Speaker 1: also upgrade for an extra forty dollars or something.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yeah, she could, but we're coming out of the Coody
- 9:01Speaker 3: Lounge anyway, so stuck up. It's just another one of
- 9:06Speaker 3: those situations where old Kisy's got a meal and his
- 9:08Speaker 3: wife doesn't you know anyway, Wow seventy thirty Semney thirty.
- 9:17Speaker 1: She can have like the fruit, yeah, fruit salad. I
- 9:22Speaker 1: haven't been to Sydney. Have you guys been to Sydney?
- 9:23Speaker 1: I have I lived in Sydney, as you know?
- 9:26Speaker 3: All right, what's what's like a what's like I have
- 9:29Speaker 3: to go. I'm watching a concert inside the Sydney Opera
- 9:31Speaker 3: House on Saturday night, which is pretty cool. It's a
- 9:34Speaker 3: good start the electric fields with the orchestra. It's like
- 9:36Speaker 3: an electric duo award winning and then with an orchestra.
- 9:40Speaker 3: And we're literally just going because it's on at the
- 9:42Speaker 3: Opera House while we're Other than that.
- 9:45Speaker 2: There's great little bars right there, right outside the Sydney
- 9:49Speaker 2: Opera House and all outside, all with great views of
- 9:52Speaker 2: the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Yeah you spent some time there? Yeah, okay, I think
- 9:59Speaker 1: we're there four days.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Well you mate to have a better idea than me. Yeah,
- 10:03Speaker 2: I mean you've got to do all the traditional shit.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Don't you got to do the Coulji BONDI walk, Yes,
- 10:10Speaker 2: around the coast.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Is that three hours or so?
- 10:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Okay, that's nice. Yeah, that's a bloody good.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Get out early is what i'd tell you, because it'll
- 10:17Speaker 2: be thirty two degrees of imagine at this time of year,
- 10:20Speaker 2: probably hotter, hot as shit, and it's hot from about
- 10:24Speaker 2: four am. So if you get out there about two
- 10:26Speaker 2: am't get any.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Photos probably one though, for that three hour walk.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and then take into account the difference in time.
- 10:34Speaker 2: So do you have to walk back? No, no, no, no,
- 10:37Speaker 2: you get there and then you have a few beers.
- 10:39Speaker 2: In fact, I think that the bar. Oh no, if
- 10:42Speaker 2: you can get along to Iceberg's which is the Bondi
- 10:46Speaker 2: Surflo Saving Club and have a.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Beer there on the water, that's award.
- 10:50Speaker 2: It's bloody good. They've got to pull right on the water.
- 10:53Speaker 2: That's so good. So yeah, that'll be your reward. And
- 10:56Speaker 2: then you taxi back or something yeah, uber back, Yeah, okay,
- 10:59Speaker 2: which is yeah, there's a lot of a lot of
- 11:01Speaker 2: although public transport's good.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we're going to train around everyone. I'm looking forward
- 11:05Speaker 3: to that. It's gonna know what the wind is doing.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Men like sunny, cloudy, sunny and then cloudy again. No, yes,
- 11:11Speaker 1: that's pretty chill. I think I saw it's only a
- 11:13Speaker 1: higher like twenty six or something, twenty six, twenty six,
- 11:15Speaker 1: twenty two, twenty two. Yeah, so that sweet is that's right?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Good as gold? Hey, thanks for listening everyone.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Don't forget the hiduck you big shows on four or
- 11:24Speaker 3: seven every weekday and a haughty Jail'll be back on
- 11:26Speaker 3: Monday and then I'll be back on the Wednesday. There
- 11:28Speaker 3: it's gonna be great, it's gonna be sad, so good.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Thanks Polkston Man
