overpower 45 00:02:33,440 --> 00:02:40,360 you is someone okay with 46 00:02:37,160 --> 00:02:42,879 you guys look in the United States there 47 00:02:40,360 --> 00:02:47,800 is this Boogeyman that they tell kids 48 00:02:42,879 --> 00:02:50,000 about and and the boogeyman is um it's a 49 00:02:47,800 --> 00:02:52,440 boogeyman that comes from explaining the 50 00:02:50,000 --> 00:02:53,560 reasons for the United States Revolution 51 00:02:52,440 --> 00:02:55,720 and one of the things that they tell 52 00:02:53,560 --> 00:02:58,959 kids 53 00:02:55,720 --> 00:03:00,360 is the English used to come into your 54 00:02:58,959 --> 00:03:02,440 home 55 00:03:00,360 --> 00:03:04,120 and the English would just like the 56 00:03:02,440 --> 00:03:07,840 soldiers would just come into your 57 00:03:04,120 --> 00:03:09,680 property and do whatever they wanted in 58 00:03:07,840 --> 00:03:12,159 your 59 00:03:09,680 --> 00:03:13,519 home and it's this big Boogeyman and if 60 00:03:12,159 --> 00:03:15,959 anything stands 61 00:03:13,519 --> 00:03:18,920 out from anybody went to school and the 62 00:03:15,959 --> 00:03:21,799 USS say is that you're like oh [ __ ] yeah 63 00:03:18,920 --> 00:03:25,519 I would have gone to war for that right 64 00:03:21,799 --> 00:03:27,080 [ __ ] come in and my sisters are there 65 00:03:25,519 --> 00:03:30,319 and then they can our 66 00:03:27,080 --> 00:03:33,720 food I can sleep in my bed 67 00:03:30,319 --> 00:03:36,200 push my parents out of their bed and do 68 00:03:33,720 --> 00:03:38,040 whatever they want in my property yeah 69 00:03:36,200 --> 00:03:41,799 man I'll probably go to war for that I 70 00:03:38,040 --> 00:03:44,920 can see why the United States had a 71 00:03:41,799 --> 00:03:46,720 revolution against at the time the 72 00:03:44,920 --> 00:03:49,159 bigest Empire or one of the biggest 73 00:03:46,720 --> 00:03:52,079 Empires right so it's like a it's a big 74 00:03:49,159 --> 00:03:54,799 deal and this boogeyman is something 75 00:03:52,079 --> 00:03:58,239 that kids are told about and so it's 76 00:03:54,799 --> 00:04:00,360 such a big deal such a big deal that 77 00:03:58,239 --> 00:04:04,760 they call it the third amendment 78 00:04:00,360 --> 00:04:07,200 Amendment yeah where no Soldier I'm 79 00:04:04,760 --> 00:04:11,720 paraphrasing this here and there no 80 00:04:07,200 --> 00:04:14,920 Soldier either in peace time or war time 81 00:04:11,720 --> 00:04:19,040 is capable it has the ability to go into 82 00:04:14,920 --> 00:04:22,199 your home without the owner's consent 83 00:04:19,040 --> 00:04:25,639 it's a big deal right it's a big deal 84 00:04:22,199 --> 00:04:28,120 big deal big deal well well guys it 85 00:04:25,639 --> 00:04:31,199 turns out 86 00:04:28,120 --> 00:04:34,080 that privacy 87 00:04:31,199 --> 00:04:36,840 is nothing more or say let's say there's 88 00:04:34,080 --> 00:04:38,600 another word for the word privacy you 89 00:04:36,840 --> 00:04:41,759 guys know what that 90 00:04:38,600 --> 00:04:44,759 is keep going want to hear some more 91 00:04:41,759 --> 00:04:46,919 answers keep going privacy property 92 00:04:44,759 --> 00:04:49,919 that's what I'm 93 00:04:46,919 --> 00:04:49,919 thinking 94 00:04:50,199 --> 00:04:56,840 shelter it's shelter it's nothing more 95 00:04:52,919 --> 00:05:00,320 nothing else privacy is shelter guys so 96 00:04:56,840 --> 00:05:02,600 we hear people talk about 97 00:05:00,320 --> 00:05:04,800 that privacy on the Internet is a bad 98 00:05:02,600 --> 00:05:07,680 thing it's a nefarious thing that you 99 00:05:04,800 --> 00:05:10,800 should be like even ashamed of being 100 00:05:07,680 --> 00:05:12,800 part of something like Monero okay 101 00:05:10,800 --> 00:05:14,840 that's what they'll tell you and I hope 102 00:05:12,800 --> 00:05:18,680 this message really gets out of because 103 00:05:14,840 --> 00:05:20,360 it's as if I was saying that it is wrong 104 00:05:18,680 --> 00:05:23,639 for you to have 105 00:05:20,360 --> 00:05:26,880 shelter in your home you're in the 106 00:05:23,639 --> 00:05:30,479 physical space now how ridiculous would 107 00:05:26,880 --> 00:05:32,440 it be if 108 00:05:30,479 --> 00:05:34,639 there were people out there right now 109 00:05:32,440 --> 00:05:38,160 saying hey you know 110 00:05:34,639 --> 00:05:41,759 what it is wrong for people to have 111 00:05:38,160 --> 00:05:45,080 shelter and be able to close the door to 112 00:05:41,759 --> 00:05:47,919 their house because bad things can 113 00:05:45,080 --> 00:05:49,240 happen within shelter would that be 114 00:05:47,919 --> 00:05:51,840 [ __ ] 115 00:05:49,240 --> 00:05:53,759 ridiculous okay well that's pretty much 116 00:05:51,840 --> 00:05:56,639 the same thing we're dealing with on the 117 00:05:53,759 --> 00:05:58,240 internet right now and and and and I'll 118 00:05:56,639 --> 00:06:01,280 break this down for you guys because 119 00:05:58,240 --> 00:06:03,120 it's it's not a farfetch example it's 120 00:06:01,280 --> 00:06:05,280 actually very 121 00:06:03,120 --> 00:06:08,319 real very 122 00:06:05,280 --> 00:06:12,080 real and so happens 123 00:06:08,319 --> 00:06:14,960 that bad things happen in people's homes 124 00:06:12,080 --> 00:06:17,840 too types of bad things happen behind 125 00:06:14,960 --> 00:06:21,199 closed doors that's not a reason to tell 126 00:06:17,840 --> 00:06:23,199 people you don't deserve the right to 127 00:06:21,199 --> 00:06:26,680 have 128 00:06:23,199 --> 00:06:29,720 shelter so we're going to go deep in 129 00:06:26,680 --> 00:06:31,440 this conversation because everyone here 130 00:06:29,720 --> 00:06:33,199 is like the [ __ ] genius is I admire 131 00:06:31,440 --> 00:06:35,199 you guys so much you guys ideas don't 132 00:06:33,199 --> 00:06:37,520 understand how honored I am to be here 133 00:06:35,199 --> 00:06:39,120 but I want to I want to dive into this 134 00:06:37,520 --> 00:06:42,599 because I think this is something very 135 00:06:39,120 --> 00:06:45,440 important for all of us and and 136 00:06:42,599 --> 00:06:48,720 so privacy if you think about it it's a 137 00:06:45,440 --> 00:06:51,919 default state of our personal 138 00:06:48,720 --> 00:06:54,080 lives and it's also not just something 139 00:06:51,919 --> 00:06:56,680 that we as human beings have but it's 140 00:06:54,080 --> 00:06:58,720 also our Natural State and it's the 141 00:06:56,680 --> 00:07:00,360 natural state of the vast majority of 142 00:06:58,720 --> 00:07:04,440 animals 143 00:07:00,360 --> 00:07:04,440 in existence foxes have 144 00:07:04,479 --> 00:07:10,479 dens birds have nests so it's not 145 00:07:07,879 --> 00:07:13,680 something out of this world to be 146 00:07:10,479 --> 00:07:16,199 seeking Shelter From the 147 00:07:13,680 --> 00:07:19,039 elements 148 00:07:16,199 --> 00:07:21,160 and here in the Privacy space within the 149 00:07:19,039 --> 00:07:24,840 internet we're not pushing for anything 150 00:07:21,160 --> 00:07:28,319 that is outside natural law it really is 151 00:07:24,840 --> 00:07:32,319 that all living things in this planet in 152 00:07:28,319 --> 00:07:34,120 nature desire their own personal space 153 00:07:32,319 --> 00:07:37,639 even plants have their own personal 154 00:07:34,120 --> 00:07:38,960 space and you will see that plants even 155 00:07:37,639 --> 00:07:42,160 make room for each 156 00:07:38,960 --> 00:07:45,159 other for sunlight 157 00:07:42,160 --> 00:07:48,560 so many times when people talk about the 158 00:07:45,159 --> 00:07:51,080 word dignity they come from a religious 159 00:07:48,560 --> 00:07:53,440 faith-based collectivist mindset but in 160 00:07:51,080 --> 00:07:57,280 reality the word 161 00:07:53,440 --> 00:08:00,560 dignity comes from nature it is a 162 00:07:57,280 --> 00:08:04,440 natural phenomenon every living being 163 00:08:00,560 --> 00:08:07,599 that is in the act of being has the 164 00:08:04,440 --> 00:08:09,479 capacity to self- fulfill and 165 00:08:07,599 --> 00:08:11,800 self-preserving and that is what we 166 00:08:09,479 --> 00:08:14,080 honor as like wow dude like that bird 167 00:08:11,800 --> 00:08:15,560 just built that beautiful Nest that is 168 00:08:14,080 --> 00:08:17,599 something all 169 00:08:15,560 --> 00:08:19,759 inspiring and 170 00:08:17,599 --> 00:08:21,759 so one thing we keep hearing on the 171 00:08:19,759 --> 00:08:25,440 Internet is that oh guys you know what 172 00:08:21,759 --> 00:08:28,199 in this age privacy is a luxury it's not 173 00:08:25,440 --> 00:08:29,759 shelter is not a luxury your dignity the 174 00:08:28,199 --> 00:08:31,479 act of you being and seeking your 175 00:08:29,759 --> 00:08:34,080 self-preservation as in the form of 176 00:08:31,479 --> 00:08:36,240 shelter it's not a luxury could you 177 00:08:34,080 --> 00:08:39,240 imagine Mexico City right 178 00:08:36,240 --> 00:08:41,360 now everybody's a homeless person that's 179 00:08:39,240 --> 00:08:44,880 exactly what's happening on the internet 180 00:08:41,360 --> 00:08:47,200 right now without privacy and as in a 181 00:08:44,880 --> 00:08:49,800 Mexico City where everybody's homeless 182 00:08:47,200 --> 00:08:51,959 and you get hords of people the same 183 00:08:49,800 --> 00:08:55,279 thing is happening on the internet right 184 00:08:51,959 --> 00:08:58,640 now where they're mapping everyone and 185 00:08:55,279 --> 00:09:00,440 using putting people against one another 186 00:08:58,640 --> 00:09:02,560 so 187 00:09:00,440 --> 00:09:04,959 privacy like shelter is nothing more 188 00:09:02,560 --> 00:09:07,360 than a natural yearning that we all 189 00:09:04,959 --> 00:09:09,680 have so I'm going to I'm going to go 190 00:09:07,360 --> 00:09:13,920 into the concepts of intimacy and Trust 191 00:09:09,680 --> 00:09:16,320 because it gets deep it really gets 192 00:09:13,920 --> 00:09:19,720 deep our 193 00:09:16,320 --> 00:09:22,600 personalities as human beings are shaped 194 00:09:19,720 --> 00:09:24,640 by the privacy of our relationships of 195 00:09:22,600 --> 00:09:28,680 our intimate 196 00:09:24,640 --> 00:09:29,920 life actually the sharing of privacy is 197 00:09:28,680 --> 00:09:33,240 what we call 198 00:09:29,920 --> 00:09:35,920 intimacy and Monero and the Privacy 199 00:09:33,240 --> 00:09:39,399 Community is not doing anything 200 00:09:35,920 --> 00:09:41,760 outside of the normal of the normal 201 00:09:39,399 --> 00:09:41,760 human 202 00:09:43,399 --> 00:09:48,079 experience in reality what we're doing 203 00:09:45,800 --> 00:09:49,920 in the Privacy space is seeking 204 00:09:48,079 --> 00:09:53,120 something very primitive and something 205 00:09:49,920 --> 00:09:55,480 very natural that you see all over 206 00:09:53,120 --> 00:09:57,600 nature so it's not something that we're 207 00:09:55,480 --> 00:09:58,959 doing outside of the norm because that 208 00:09:57,600 --> 00:10:01,160 is exactly what they're trying to tell 209 00:09:58,959 --> 00:10:02,800 you you oh you should be you should not 210 00:10:01,160 --> 00:10:07,000 do that because oh you're outside the 211 00:10:02,800 --> 00:10:07,000 norm no that is not the norm in 212 00:10:08,720 --> 00:10:13,600 nature so what we're doing here is 213 00:10:11,200 --> 00:10:15,959 nothing more again than seeking shelter 214 00:10:13,600 --> 00:10:20,160 in the digital 215 00:10:15,959 --> 00:10:24,399 space trust is nothing more than the 216 00:10:20,160 --> 00:10:28,519 process of opening up one's private 217 00:10:24,399 --> 00:10:30,480 life you can't force Trust on someone 218 00:10:28,519 --> 00:10:32,560 you can't 219 00:10:30,480 --> 00:10:37,320 do that trust is something 220 00:10:32,560 --> 00:10:40,320 voluntary and you have to respect the 221 00:10:37,320 --> 00:10:41,560 other person's autonomy in order for 222 00:10:40,320 --> 00:10:44,639 trust to 223 00:10:41,560 --> 00:10:46,720 emerge so there's this whole field in 224 00:10:44,639 --> 00:10:48,839 philosophy called personalism that I 225 00:10:46,720 --> 00:10:50,839 really dig dig I really dig into because 226 00:10:48,839 --> 00:10:52,519 I think it's something that we need in 227 00:10:50,839 --> 00:10:55,519 the Freedom Movement worldwide to get 228 00:10:52,519 --> 00:10:58,639 more into because this field of thoughts 229 00:10:55,519 --> 00:11:02,079 is one where you are starting with the 230 00:10:58,639 --> 00:11:04,360 indiv idual to derive a form of Ethics 231 00:11:02,079 --> 00:11:07,399 people that collectivize and enforce 232 00:11:04,360 --> 00:11:11,880 tyranny on others tend to focus 233 00:11:07,399 --> 00:11:13,519 on very as uh collectivist World Views 234 00:11:11,880 --> 00:11:16,240 as their starting point for ethics and 235 00:11:13,519 --> 00:11:18,440 in reality it really starts with us it 236 00:11:16,240 --> 00:11:20,279 really starts with us and one of the 237 00:11:18,440 --> 00:11:23,040 most beautiful Concepts that I've come 238 00:11:20,279 --> 00:11:25,040 across within this study is the concept 239 00:11:23,040 --> 00:11:26,880 of incommunicability 240 00:11:25,040 --> 00:11:30,120 incommunicability 241 00:11:26,880 --> 00:11:32,040 regards an aspect of your as a human 242 00:11:30,120 --> 00:11:34,839 person that 243 00:11:32,040 --> 00:11:36,519 is that is something that cannot be 244 00:11:34,839 --> 00:11:39,480 experienced by anyone else it's 245 00:11:36,519 --> 00:11:42,200 incommunicable and that is what it is 246 00:11:39,480 --> 00:11:45,040 like to be you your experience of 247 00:11:42,200 --> 00:11:47,120 yourself is something that no other 248 00:11:45,040 --> 00:11:50,160 person on the planet can experience 249 00:11:47,120 --> 00:11:52,399 experiencing you as yourself and this 250 00:11:50,160 --> 00:11:56,680 thing goes is so beautiful and so deep 251 00:11:52,399 --> 00:11:58,200 because it actually goes into uh where 252 00:11:56,680 --> 00:12:00,519 philosophers and theologians are 253 00:11:58,200 --> 00:12:02,200 actually talking about how 254 00:12:00,519 --> 00:12:05,399 incommunicability is something that we 255 00:12:02,200 --> 00:12:07,560 even have that God cannot possess 256 00:12:05,399 --> 00:12:09,360 regarding us if you believe in God 257 00:12:07,560 --> 00:12:12,680 whatever 258 00:12:09,360 --> 00:12:15,000 because that is something that only you 259 00:12:12,680 --> 00:12:18,240 can experience about yourself only you 260 00:12:15,000 --> 00:12:20,480 can experience you as you only you can 261 00:12:18,240 --> 00:12:22,320 know what it is like to be yourself as 262 00:12:20,480 --> 00:12:27,199 yourself and that's a very beautiful 263 00:12:22,320 --> 00:12:29,639 concept and we see this in our I thou 264 00:12:27,199 --> 00:12:32,000 intimate relationships with other people 265 00:12:29,639 --> 00:12:33,880 think of someone you love think of an 266 00:12:32,000 --> 00:12:36,079 intimate relationship that you have with 267 00:12:33,880 --> 00:12:37,839 someone and you'll notice like in 268 00:12:36,079 --> 00:12:39,560 friendship that there's something the 269 00:12:37,839 --> 00:12:41,519 more you get to know this person on an 270 00:12:39,560 --> 00:12:44,440 intimate level there's something about 271 00:12:41,519 --> 00:12:47,600 this person that is that you can't grasp 272 00:12:44,440 --> 00:12:51,480 you can't Encompass it's something that 273 00:12:47,600 --> 00:12:55,279 stands on its own and and it is there it 274 00:12:51,480 --> 00:12:58,240 is who they are in themselves and it is 275 00:12:55,279 --> 00:12:59,680 it is a beautiful thing to think about 276 00:12:58,240 --> 00:13:02,399 because 277 00:12:59,680 --> 00:13:06,040 notice that in Friendship the respect of 278 00:13:02,399 --> 00:13:09,040 the other person's autonomy is brought 279 00:13:06,040 --> 00:13:11,199 into the forfront the more you love 280 00:13:09,040 --> 00:13:14,320 someone the more you respect their 281 00:13:11,199 --> 00:13:18,680 autonomy and so very important guys to 282 00:13:14,320 --> 00:13:22,199 know is that that is why a tyranical 283 00:13:18,680 --> 00:13:27,040 invasion of privacy it is the is the 284 00:13:22,199 --> 00:13:30,680 deepest form of aggression against our 285 00:13:27,040 --> 00:13:34,279 very essence within our own 286 00:13:30,680 --> 00:13:35,920 personhood so what these these 287 00:13:34,279 --> 00:13:38,040 personalist philosophers talk about is 288 00:13:35,920 --> 00:13:41,120 that you really start becoming a person 289 00:13:38,040 --> 00:13:42,560 in relation to other human persons that 290 00:13:41,120 --> 00:13:46,360 is where person 291 00:13:42,560 --> 00:13:47,920 personhood births it becomes and the 292 00:13:46,360 --> 00:13:50,880 beautiful thing is is 293 00:13:47,920 --> 00:13:52,800 that privacy is in fact the starting 294 00:13:50,880 --> 00:13:57,160 point of 295 00:13:52,800 --> 00:13:59,440 personhood okay because you need to have 296 00:13:57,160 --> 00:14:02,079 something that is yours and Uniquely 297 00:13:59,440 --> 00:14:05,680 Yours to be able to give the other 298 00:14:02,079 --> 00:14:07,720 person okay think about the most 299 00:14:05,680 --> 00:14:10,000 intimate of relationships you have your 300 00:14:07,720 --> 00:14:11,560 your best friend person you love most 301 00:14:10,000 --> 00:14:13,600 and you'll notice that there's a dynamic 302 00:14:11,560 --> 00:14:16,639 of faith hope and love within it you 303 00:14:13,600 --> 00:14:18,320 have faith in this person you hope in in 304 00:14:16,639 --> 00:14:21,720 other words you have you're waiting a 305 00:14:18,320 --> 00:14:24,959 response from this person you love this 306 00:14:21,720 --> 00:14:29,759 person in a waiting for to be loved by 307 00:14:24,959 --> 00:14:32,240 this person to be as the Beloved so 308 00:14:29,759 --> 00:14:35,680 this is something that in the digital 309 00:14:32,240 --> 00:14:37,480 space right now we're what we're seeing 310 00:14:35,680 --> 00:14:40,440 is is 311 00:14:37,480 --> 00:14:43,320 that they're depersonalizing Us in the 312 00:14:40,440 --> 00:14:46,040 digital space right now because it lacks 313 00:14:43,320 --> 00:14:48,680 privacy because it lacks shelter and 314 00:14:46,040 --> 00:14:50,320 that's why we are talk we we talk about 315 00:14:48,680 --> 00:14:53,320 people on the 316 00:14:50,320 --> 00:14:55,880 internet just being consumed by it and 317 00:14:53,320 --> 00:14:59,360 being easily driven 318 00:14:55,880 --> 00:15:03,040 to have this hoard 319 00:14:59,360 --> 00:15:04,560 mentality of of so much hate I don't 320 00:15:03,040 --> 00:15:06,680 know if you guys within your Social 321 00:15:04,560 --> 00:15:08,560 Circles you guys step out of you know 322 00:15:06,680 --> 00:15:10,240 the like the Monero Vibe Monero Social 323 00:15:08,560 --> 00:15:11,920 Circles but you'll notice that in our 324 00:15:10,240 --> 00:15:14,199 culture throughout the world there's a 325 00:15:11,920 --> 00:15:16,920 lot of division and it is because we've 326 00:15:14,199 --> 00:15:20,440 been depersonalized Because the Internet 327 00:15:16,920 --> 00:15:24,120 itself does not get grant you that 328 00:15:20,440 --> 00:15:26,120 shelter that starting place we we we 329 00:15:24,120 --> 00:15:29,399 it's almost as if again we were in 330 00:15:26,120 --> 00:15:32,240 Mexico City and everybody was homeless 331 00:15:29,399 --> 00:15:33,759 no shelter that's the internet right now 332 00:15:32,240 --> 00:15:37,759 that's exactly what's happening right 333 00:15:33,759 --> 00:15:40,199 now so this extends to the market and 334 00:15:37,759 --> 00:15:43,079 ludic Von M on Human Action tells us 335 00:15:40,199 --> 00:15:45,639 that private ownership is the means of 336 00:15:43,079 --> 00:15:47,680 production in a fundamental and it is 337 00:15:45,639 --> 00:15:49,040 the fundamental institution of the 338 00:15:47,680 --> 00:15:52,199 market 339 00:15:49,040 --> 00:15:54,319 economy it is the institution the 340 00:15:52,199 --> 00:15:56,720 presence of which characterizes the 341 00:15:54,319 --> 00:16:01,199 market economy as 342 00:15:56,720 --> 00:16:04,240 such where it is AB since there is no 343 00:16:01,199 --> 00:16:06,959 question of a market economy you need to 344 00:16:04,240 --> 00:16:09,240 have privacy to have ownership in order 345 00:16:06,959 --> 00:16:12,720 to have voluntary exchange and guess 346 00:16:09,240 --> 00:16:15,199 what Monero does both what's happening 347 00:16:12,720 --> 00:16:16,720 in the Privacy space and in crypto 348 00:16:15,199 --> 00:16:19,360 that's exactly what we're experiencing 349 00:16:16,720 --> 00:16:22,279 we're experiencing the emergence of 350 00:16:19,360 --> 00:16:25,160 shelter on the 351 00:16:22,279 --> 00:16:28,079 internet so one thing that I want to 352 00:16:25,160 --> 00:16:29,600 highlight guys is that because we people 353 00:16:28,079 --> 00:16:30,920 are being personalized right now on the 354 00:16:29,600 --> 00:16:33,360 internet they really are people are 355 00:16:30,920 --> 00:16:38,440 being addicted to their phones at all 356 00:16:33,360 --> 00:16:40,639 times and you know that you the most 357 00:16:38,440 --> 00:16:44,959 beautiful moments of your life will be 358 00:16:40,639 --> 00:16:47,000 those where you have privacy your first 359 00:16:44,959 --> 00:16:49,240 kiss your first kid and connecting with 360 00:16:47,000 --> 00:16:53,319 your kid it's going to be that moment of 361 00:16:49,240 --> 00:16:54,920 falling in love right um so right now 362 00:16:53,319 --> 00:16:56,360 guys what I want you guys to take from 363 00:16:54,920 --> 00:16:58,160 my talk really is that here I'm mon 364 00:16:56,360 --> 00:16:59,040 neotopia we're not just talking about 365 00:16:58,160 --> 00:17:02,759 techn 366 00:16:59,040 --> 00:17:05,799 ology okay we are talking about a 367 00:17:02,759 --> 00:17:09,120 fundamental one of the fundamental 368 00:17:05,799 --> 00:17:13,160 prerequisites that makes us human 369 00:17:09,120 --> 00:17:15,919 persons okay privacy is a very natural 370 00:17:13,160 --> 00:17:19,959 yearning of human 371 00:17:15,919 --> 00:17:22,880 persons privacy is a necessity in life 372 00:17:19,959 --> 00:17:26,600 for your biological safety and your 373 00:17:22,880 --> 00:17:28,840 psychological well-being as well so I 374 00:17:26,600 --> 00:17:31,600 had I had I had a really interesting 375 00:17:28,840 --> 00:17:33,120 very interesting experience where um I 376 00:17:31,600 --> 00:17:36,480 was reading a book you guys want know 377 00:17:33,120 --> 00:17:39,160 what this book is um I will tell you 378 00:17:36,480 --> 00:17:41,200 after my talk and so I was reading this 379 00:17:39,160 --> 00:17:43,640 book and I went to sleep and I and in my 380 00:17:41,200 --> 00:17:46,039 I had a dream where this book came alive 381 00:17:43,640 --> 00:17:49,320 and it was like the the the um the 382 00:17:46,039 --> 00:17:53,000 letters of the book 383 00:17:49,320 --> 00:17:54,960 became became a forest and I went into 384 00:17:53,000 --> 00:17:56,960 this book and it was a white and little 385 00:17:54,960 --> 00:17:59,200 black forest and I was walking through 386 00:17:56,960 --> 00:18:01,679 this Forest within the book 387 00:17:59,200 --> 00:18:03,200 so I'm like I woke up the next day I 388 00:18:01,679 --> 00:18:06,400 felt like I was an arnia I woke up the 389 00:18:03,200 --> 00:18:07,760 next day and I'm like okay I I I got to 390 00:18:06,400 --> 00:18:10,760 go to the forest and take this book with 391 00:18:07,760 --> 00:18:13,480 me I get it cool I went to the forest I 392 00:18:10,760 --> 00:18:16,559 sat down deep in there with my 393 00:18:13,480 --> 00:18:18,400 dogs at the time I had three dogs and I 394 00:18:16,559 --> 00:18:20,440 was reading good hour went by when all 395 00:18:18,400 --> 00:18:23,600 of a sudden one of my dogs went to sniff 396 00:18:20,440 --> 00:18:26,120 not so like literally from here to where 397 00:18:23,600 --> 00:18:29,919 my man is over here on the door boom and 398 00:18:26,120 --> 00:18:32,440 something jumped up and I was like whoa 399 00:18:29,919 --> 00:18:34,520 what is that and my dogs all ran to it 400 00:18:32,440 --> 00:18:40,200 and it was a baby a baby deer it was a 401 00:18:34,520 --> 00:18:42,320 little Bambi and and I was like oh [ __ ] 402 00:18:40,200 --> 00:18:43,520 I gotta go get it so I picked it up and 403 00:18:42,320 --> 00:18:47,520 the little thing started literally 404 00:18:43,520 --> 00:18:50,159 screaming M like a kid and right away I 405 00:18:47,520 --> 00:18:53,000 looked back and the mom was 406 00:18:50,159 --> 00:18:57,919 there stand 15 meters away from him like 407 00:18:53,000 --> 00:19:01,520 oh [ __ ] so I had my book my water my 408 00:18:57,919 --> 00:19:03,799 every like my towel over there so I 00:27:32,320 --> 00:27:38,880 so I don't know how long I went for but 589 00:27:36,120 --> 00:27:43,320 I'm I know have 10 minutes for talking I 590 00:27:38,880 --> 00:27:44,720 may have gone a little faster because um 591 00:27:43,320 --> 00:27:48,720 I I didn't time my talk I don't know how 592 00:27:44,720 --> 00:27:50,360 long I went for but so um questions guys 593 00:27:48,720 --> 00:27:53,559 I'm here to answer whatever you guys 594 00:27:50,360 --> 00:27:56,320 want what's up yes 595 00:27:53,559 --> 00:27:59,200 sir so it's pretty obvious how you feel 596 00:27:56,320 --> 00:28:02,399 about Mono is that digital cach but I 597 00:27:59,200 --> 00:28:04,399 had questions about other elements of 598 00:28:02,399 --> 00:28:06,159 digital real estate privacy as you're 599 00:28:04,399 --> 00:28:08,600 discussing and also the reach of the 600 00:28:06,159 --> 00:28:12,320 philosophy so it's kind of a two-parter 601 00:28:08,600 --> 00:28:14,960 question uh the first question is which 602 00:28:12,320 --> 00:28:19,480 projects uh just as an example like 603 00:28:14,960 --> 00:28:21,440 session oxen Loki net um do you see is 604 00:28:19,480 --> 00:28:23,760 having a bright future for like the 605 00:28:21,440 --> 00:28:25,799 messaging side of things or where some 606 00:28:23,760 --> 00:28:28,640 promising smart contracts in your 607 00:28:25,799 --> 00:28:30,559 opinion and then the second question is 608 00:28:28,640 --> 00:28:33,720 much more philosophical I'm sure the 609 00:28:30,559 --> 00:28:38,840 first one will be quick but um are there 610 00:28:33,720 --> 00:28:41,120 any hot tips on um reaching people 611 00:28:38,840 --> 00:28:44,000 philosophically like you were discussing 612 00:28:41,120 --> 00:28:45,919 um when you talk to you just run into 613 00:28:44,000 --> 00:28:49,440 somebody on I don't know the bus or 614 00:28:45,919 --> 00:28:52,679 whatever uh any recommendations for a 615 00:28:49,440 --> 00:28:54,840 two-minute elevator pitch to try to 616 00:28:52,679 --> 00:28:55,760 encourage people to reconsider the value 617 00:28:54,840 --> 00:28:58,399 of 618 00:28:55,760 --> 00:29:00,000 privacy so are the the main question 619 00:28:58,399 --> 00:29:02,760 that I'm I'm going to answer first is a 620 00:29:00,000 --> 00:29:05,399 second question guys look 621 00:29:02,760 --> 00:29:08,200 um the starting point of philosophy 622 00:29:05,399 --> 00:29:11,360 everyone tells you that philosophy is 623 00:29:08,200 --> 00:29:14,640 the science of wisdom and and there was 624 00:29:11,360 --> 00:29:17,360 a man who I admire very much Emanuel 625 00:29:14,640 --> 00:29:20,080 levinas was also a a personalist 626 00:29:17,360 --> 00:29:23,360 philosopher and he flipped it on its 627 00:29:20,080 --> 00:29:26,519 head he was a student of of of um huso 628 00:29:23,360 --> 00:29:30,120 and Hyer who became a Nazi and he lived 629 00:29:26,519 --> 00:29:31,399 in wtz and Liv says that after he went 630 00:29:30,120 --> 00:29:33,399 through all that mind Fu where his 631 00:29:31,399 --> 00:29:36,919 thesis director became a Nazi he 632 00:29:33,399 --> 00:29:39,240 realized that in reality 633 00:29:36,919 --> 00:29:41,840 philosophy um if it doesn't start with 634 00:29:39,240 --> 00:29:44,480 the individual it will bulldoze over 635 00:29:41,840 --> 00:29:46,440 human persons and so his he flipped it 636 00:29:44,480 --> 00:29:50,519 on his head he really said that true 637 00:29:46,440 --> 00:29:52,600 philosophy is not the love of 638 00:29:50,519 --> 00:29:54,440 wisdom like the Greeks and you know the 639 00:29:52,600 --> 00:29:56,720 history of philosophy will teach you but 640 00:29:54,440 --> 00:29:58,960 the wisdom of love and the starting 641 00:29:56,720 --> 00:30:02,159 point of ethics for him is not some sort 642 00:29:58,960 --> 00:30:03,840 of argument but it really is believe it 643 00:30:02,159 --> 00:30:07,720 or not it's [ __ ] beautiful it's the 644 00:30:03,840 --> 00:30:11,320 human face the human face is the 645 00:30:07,720 --> 00:30:13,039 starting point of ethics for him so it 646 00:30:11,320 --> 00:30:14,480 doesn't matter what you say and what you 647 00:30:13,039 --> 00:30:17,640 don't say to 648 00:30:14,480 --> 00:30:21,640 someone what is most important is to 649 00:30:17,640 --> 00:30:23,360 have people face to face so we are very 650 00:30:21,640 --> 00:30:25,320 much attracted to the you know 651 00:30:23,360 --> 00:30:27,720 everything's online and and so forth 652 00:30:25,320 --> 00:30:30,679 guys the best thing you can do throw a 653 00:30:27,720 --> 00:30:31,960 party best thing you can do is if you 654 00:30:30,679 --> 00:30:34,279 don't if you're not part of a crypto 655 00:30:31,960 --> 00:30:37,360 Meetup in your area start 656 00:30:34,279 --> 00:30:41,120 one get face to face with people people 657 00:30:37,360 --> 00:30:43,399 are like I said they're depersonalizing 658 00:30:41,120 --> 00:30:46,200 people on the internet because they're 659 00:30:43,399 --> 00:30:48,760 is no shelter on the internet we're 660 00:30:46,200 --> 00:30:50,840 providing the shelter the first actual 661 00:30:48,760 --> 00:30:52,480 real estate everybody's homeless they 662 00:30:50,840 --> 00:30:54,960 think they're somewhere but in reality 663 00:30:52,480 --> 00:30:57,279 it's like Facebook is a giant Coliseum 664 00:30:54,960 --> 00:30:58,799 North all this bunch of like people 665 00:30:57,279 --> 00:31:01,159 think they have a home but in reality 666 00:30:58,799 --> 00:31:03,120 they're sleeping in tents that's what 667 00:31:01,159 --> 00:31:04,960 Facebook is same thing with every big 668 00:31:03,120 --> 00:31:06,039 tech company and they're getting raped 669 00:31:04,960 --> 00:31:08,880 and surveil and they're within the 670 00:31:06,039 --> 00:31:10,799 panopticon at all times so what the the 671 00:31:08,880 --> 00:31:13,440 the real answer 672 00:31:10,799 --> 00:31:16,320 is meet with them face to face no matter 673 00:31:13,440 --> 00:31:18,360 what it is man meet them face to face so 674 00:31:16,320 --> 00:31:20,360 to your first question which is like 675 00:31:18,360 --> 00:31:22,240 what what is what are the networks right 676 00:31:20,360 --> 00:31:24,559 now that I think are [ __ ] awesome 677 00:31:22,240 --> 00:31:26,840 definitely session session is incredible 678 00:31:24,559 --> 00:31:30,120 um We Love Session and I know the guy is 679 00:31:26,840 --> 00:31:32,360 going to be here was just awesome um but 680 00:31:30,120 --> 00:31:35,639 I really like darl the 681 00:31:32,360 --> 00:31:37,960 E and darl I think is a very promising 682 00:31:35,639 --> 00:31:40,600 and beautiful project unfortunately I 683 00:31:37,960 --> 00:31:42,360 don't think they're here uh otopia is 684 00:31:40,600 --> 00:31:43,840 here those guys are [ __ ] private dude 685 00:31:42,360 --> 00:31:46,039 because I've interacted with them like 686 00:31:43,840 --> 00:31:48,039 holy [ __ ] man I thought Monero was like 687 00:31:46,039 --> 00:31:50,440 up on their opsc these guys are super 688 00:31:48,039 --> 00:31:54,480 [ __ ] private darl I'm really into 689 00:31:50,440 --> 00:31:57,799 Daryl I'm I really keep a very close uh 690 00:31:54,480 --> 00:32:01,360 in ZK snark development um and it's just 691 00:31:57,799 --> 00:32:04,080 zero knowledge development and so I I 692 00:32:01,360 --> 00:32:05,880 really like that pirate chain exists and 693 00:32:04,080 --> 00:32:07,559 that is implementing zero knowledge 694 00:32:05,880 --> 00:32:09,639 proves in the form of ZK snarks at the 695 00:32:07,559 --> 00:32:12,760 protocol level which is what we always 696 00:32:09,639 --> 00:32:16,519 wanted zcash to be so that is something 697 00:32:12,760 --> 00:32:20,440 that I [ __ ] you know I geek out of um 698 00:32:16,519 --> 00:32:23,159 I'm I'm I I've been that really Geeks me 699 00:32:20,440 --> 00:32:26,240 out there's a dude there's a crew called 700 00:32:23,159 --> 00:32:27,760 escript from the unmentionable network 701 00:32:26,240 --> 00:32:31,159 that I think people should know about 702 00:32:27,760 --> 00:32:35,840 estrip they are working with different 703 00:32:31,159 --> 00:32:39,440 forms of zero knowledge at the same time 704 00:32:35,840 --> 00:32:43,880 and a very a very cool blockchain just 705 00:32:39,440 --> 00:32:46,760 launched about a couple um uh like no 706 00:32:43,880 --> 00:32:49,320 more than six months ago called Radiance 707 00:32:46,760 --> 00:32:51,880 where you can take all of this like 708 00:32:49,320 --> 00:32:53,600 different types of zero knowledge proofs 709 00:32:51,880 --> 00:32:57,480 and use them to build games at the same 710 00:32:53,600 --> 00:33:00,080 time so you don't have to marry one uh 711 00:32:57,480 --> 00:33:02,880 you don't have to marry one uh zero 712 00:33:00,080 --> 00:33:05,760 knowledge Pro protocol 713 00:33:02,880 --> 00:33:08,000 to play with like you would do with like 714 00:33:05,760 --> 00:33:09,240 piratin or like or or even like Monero 715 00:33:08,000 --> 00:33:11,600 because Monero in the future will go 716 00:33:09,240 --> 00:33:15,159 zero knowledge more than bulletproof's 717 00:33:11,600 --> 00:33:17,519 already right so it's um so it's 718 00:33:15,159 --> 00:33:20,880 something that I I think is awesome 719 00:33:17,519 --> 00:33:23,080 which is being able to have a playground 720 00:33:20,880 --> 00:33:24,919 where that's within a network that's 721 00:33:23,080 --> 00:33:27,960 highly interactive like the topology of 722 00:33:24,919 --> 00:33:31,360 a blockchain and it really GS to be able 723 00:33:27,960 --> 00:33:32,720 to to have a playground for us to to 724 00:33:31,360 --> 00:33:34,760 play with different types of zero 725 00:33:32,720 --> 00:33:37,320 knowledge proofs at the same time that 726 00:33:34,760 --> 00:33:40,360 blows my mind so it's uh the ticker 727 00:33:37,320 --> 00:33:44,080 symbols rxd um it just launched I think 728 00:33:40,360 --> 00:33:48,360 it's [ __ ] awesome um it really is um 729 00:33:44,080 --> 00:33:50,240 taking the big blocker world view of 730 00:33:48,360 --> 00:33:52,440 bitcoin's original design to its 731 00:33:50,240 --> 00:33:55,919 ultimate level and giving it a fresh new 732 00:33:52,440 --> 00:33:58,039 start sh 512 and it's a fixed protocol 733 00:33:55,919 --> 00:34:00,480 so you can just build whatever you want 734 00:33:58,039 --> 00:34:02,200 I I think that's that's a cool sandbox 735 00:34:00,480 --> 00:34:04,600 to build in because I've seen what has 736 00:34:02,200 --> 00:34:06,840 happened within those places and I've 737 00:34:04,600 --> 00:34:09,520 seen like recursive Z knowledge proofs 738 00:34:06,840 --> 00:34:10,639 being developed and really cool things 739 00:34:09,520 --> 00:34:12,599 being developed because you're you're 740 00:34:10,639 --> 00:34:15,399 not again it's a playground that you can 741 00:34:12,599 --> 00:34:18,119 play with different types of ZK zkps at 742 00:34:15,399 --> 00:34:21,359 the same time um any more 743 00:34:18,119 --> 00:34:23,440 questions yes what's up I want to see 744 00:34:21,359 --> 00:34:25,879 your face brother you wearing a mask 745 00:34:23,440 --> 00:34:28,879 remember it starts with the face 746 00:34:25,879 --> 00:34:28,879 brother 747 00:34:29,240 --> 00:34:32,520 well it's more of a stength of questions 748 00:34:30,960 --> 00:34:37,280 St short questions if you don't mind can 749 00:34:32,520 --> 00:34:40,639 I do that okay sure um you see you said 750 00:34:37,280 --> 00:34:40,639 privacy or right 751 00:34:40,720 --> 00:34:49,520 sure that's okay yes there you go you 752 00:34:45,599 --> 00:34:49,520 also said that but it's not all 753 00:34:51,000 --> 00:34:55,760 right default State it's just our 754 00:34:53,560 --> 00:34:58,040 default State that's who we are that's 755 00:34:55,760 --> 00:34:59,560 how nature is we all SE shs are like 756 00:34:58,040 --> 00:35:03,480 it's ring where we gonna go we're here 757 00:34:59,560 --> 00:35:05,480 right sure yeah sure now um you want to 758 00:35:03,480 --> 00:35:07,880 said something about B that companies we 759 00:35:05,480 --> 00:35:13,040 all know they do a lot of awful stuff 760 00:35:07,880 --> 00:35:16,240 with our private data sure correct yes 761 00:35:13,040 --> 00:35:19,560 um and who company made your cell 762 00:35:16,240 --> 00:35:21,160 phone okay what company made my cell 763 00:35:19,560 --> 00:35:23,400 phone the cell phone the one where you 764 00:35:21,160 --> 00:35:25,560 reading your strip well I I have a bunch 765 00:35:23,400 --> 00:35:28,040 of cell phones but yeah that one that 766 00:35:25,560 --> 00:35:30,800 one I like the font so an apple yes 767 00:35:28,040 --> 00:35:33,440 Apple okay sure yeah why you didn't 768 00:35:30,800 --> 00:35:36,200 write your script on paper because 769 00:35:33,440 --> 00:35:39,880 typical privacy after all because you 770 00:35:36,200 --> 00:35:42,160 know uh Market specialized and I like I 771 00:35:39,880 --> 00:35:44,400 like the division of labor in the 772 00:35:42,160 --> 00:35:46,480 market yeah I like graphine graine is a 773 00:35:44,400 --> 00:35:49,359 [ __ ] yeah I got gra too sure we all know 774 00:35:46,480 --> 00:35:51,480 that there are some privacy Ops and cell 775 00:35:49,359 --> 00:35:54,000 phone every app but at the same time 776 00:35:51,480 --> 00:35:58,240 there's a lot of factors in every single 777 00:35:54,000 --> 00:36:01,280 computer we have okay so my point is 778 00:35:58,240 --> 00:36:03,880 privacy sure is dignity but it have to 779 00:36:01,280 --> 00:36:06,440 be practical we have to know how to get 780 00:36:03,880 --> 00:36:08,720 privacy to be something practical in our 781 00:36:06,440 --> 00:36:10,800 lives awesome I completely agree what's 782 00:36:08,720 --> 00:36:13,160 your question 783 00:36:10,800 --> 00:36:15,160 well question so yeah I know you're 784 00:36:13,160 --> 00:36:17,560 you're 100% right guys and and the cool 785 00:36:15,160 --> 00:36:19,200 thing is is that like um you asked me 786 00:36:17,560 --> 00:36:21,400 earlier what what's a network that I 787 00:36:19,200 --> 00:36:23,480 like and look guys one of the biggest 788 00:36:21,400 --> 00:36:25,560 threats that we have because privacy is 789 00:36:23,480 --> 00:36:27,480 really a shield it's shelter right but 790 00:36:25,560 --> 00:36:29,960 tyrants will still be doing tyrannical 791 00:36:27,480 --> 00:36:33,040 things so my question is like what is 792 00:36:29,960 --> 00:36:37,520 that we do on the offensive and I think 793 00:36:33,040 --> 00:36:40,680 it's built within even what um Satoshi 794 00:36:37,520 --> 00:36:43,119 gave us and the start of this whole 795 00:36:40,680 --> 00:36:45,960 Evolution which is is 796 00:36:43,119 --> 00:36:48,720 that extreme capitalism and to be able 797 00:36:45,960 --> 00:36:50,720 to build an onchain economy is necessary 798 00:36:48,720 --> 00:36:53,280 it's not even an option it's necessary 799 00:36:50,720 --> 00:36:55,760 to build an onchain economy not an 800 00:36:53,280 --> 00:36:57,640 economy that scales but to really use 801 00:36:55,760 --> 00:37:00,359 the network to Poli of the blockchain 802 00:36:57,640 --> 00:37:02,760 which is the most interactive graph and 803 00:37:00,359 --> 00:37:06,160 to be able to find networks that scale 804 00:37:02,760 --> 00:37:08,440 on layer one to scale onchain because 805 00:37:06,160 --> 00:37:10,839 that is the only way that we will be 806 00:37:08,440 --> 00:37:12,880 able to compete with big Tech there's no 807 00:37:10,839 --> 00:37:15,240 other way so when it comes to privacy 808 00:37:12,880 --> 00:37:17,440 the network that is doing that is darl 809 00:37:15,240 --> 00:37:21,440 again they're it's uh they're building 810 00:37:17,440 --> 00:37:23,800 onchain in smart contract app unchain 811 00:37:21,440 --> 00:37:25,839 economy which is [ __ ] 812 00:37:23,800 --> 00:37:27,680 awesome Yes you have another question 813 00:37:25,839 --> 00:37:30,280 then my question is my last question 814 00:37:27,680 --> 00:37:32,880 okay why Apple why 815 00:37:30,280 --> 00:37:35,599 Apple um I don't know dude I'm not I'm 816 00:37:32,880 --> 00:37:37,960 not an apple spokesperson it's just I 817 00:37:35,599 --> 00:37:40,440 like I like comp for example I'll give 818 00:37:37,960 --> 00:37:43,119 you an example dude markets specialize 819 00:37:40,440 --> 00:37:46,760 right and if you were a tyrant you would 820 00:37:43,119 --> 00:37:48,880 tell the car manufacturers that you need 821 00:37:46,760 --> 00:37:51,079 they need to limit their capitalist 822 00:37:48,880 --> 00:37:54,280 productive power and that's literally 823 00:37:51,079 --> 00:37:56,040 what has been happening in 824 00:37:54,280 --> 00:37:59,119 crypto under the guys of 825 00:37:56,040 --> 00:38:02,240 decentralization ation this unveiled 826 00:37:59,119 --> 00:38:03,400 Marxism has come in that has told people 827 00:38:02,240 --> 00:38:04,920 that you and your buddies can get 828 00:38:03,400 --> 00:38:07,359 together and build a better 829 00:38:04,920 --> 00:38:10,200 product because markets in in itself 830 00:38:07,359 --> 00:38:13,119 really do specialize so imagine telling 831 00:38:10,200 --> 00:38:14,359 GM that you can only build 20,000 cars a 832 00:38:13,119 --> 00:38:17,520 year that's literally what they've done 833 00:38:14,359 --> 00:38:20,040 in a lot of the crypto space okay but in 834 00:38:17,520 --> 00:38:23,400 reality when you have unleash the 835 00:38:20,040 --> 00:38:26,200 creativity of capitalist production and 836 00:38:23,400 --> 00:38:29,880 you allow the market to equilibrate and 837 00:38:26,200 --> 00:38:32,359 you stop using the word decentralization 838 00:38:29,880 --> 00:38:34,960 as an excuse to have a centralized group 839 00:38:32,359 --> 00:38:36,280 of central planners that run and control 840 00:38:34,960 --> 00:38:37,880 the base protocol whatever 841 00:38:36,280 --> 00:38:41,720 cryptocurrency what is we're talking 842 00:38:37,880 --> 00:38:43,920 about hey and if the shoe fits wear it 843 00:38:41,720 --> 00:38:45,920 then we're dealing with a true 844 00:38:43,920 --> 00:38:47,560 capitalist meritocracy which is really 845 00:38:45,920 --> 00:38:52,040 in my opinion what what she really gave 846 00:38:47,560 --> 00:38:54,359 us so what we need to do is emphasize 847 00:38:52,040 --> 00:38:56,520 competition extreme free market 848 00:38:54,359 --> 00:38:59,720 competition is more important than this 849 00:38:56,520 --> 00:39:02,800 stupid buzzword comes from Silicon 850 00:38:59,720 --> 00:39:04,599 Valley called decentralization 851 00:39:02,800 --> 00:39:07,040 decentralization and the vast majority 852 00:39:04,599 --> 00:39:08,319 of crypto networks a lot of people will 853 00:39:07,040 --> 00:39:11,760 lie to you and they won't tell you the 854 00:39:08,319 --> 00:39:14,599 truth are run by Central 855 00:39:11,760 --> 00:39:17,880 planners okay that is the unfortunate 856 00:39:14,599 --> 00:39:21,760 truth because in in the economy when the 857 00:39:17,880 --> 00:39:24,280 future is uncertain people in crypto 858 00:39:21,760 --> 00:39:26,520 have the NC reaction as 859 00:39:24,280 --> 00:39:28,359 engineers and this is the downside of 860 00:39:26,520 --> 00:39:31,200 the engineering Marine is that the 861 00:39:28,359 --> 00:39:34,359 engineer wants to control so when they 862 00:39:31,200 --> 00:39:38,040 feel fearful for an uncertain future the 863 00:39:34,359 --> 00:39:40,440 engineer says I must control the future 864 00:39:38,040 --> 00:39:42,280 I must make sure everything's okay and 865 00:39:40,440 --> 00:39:45,000 they must have re they could have real 866 00:39:42,280 --> 00:39:47,160 good intentions but that in itself is 867 00:39:45,000 --> 00:39:50,680 the starting point of social 868 00:39:47,160 --> 00:39:52,880 engineering tying and I love that Derek 869 00:39:50,680 --> 00:39:54,640 Bros is coming up next talking about 870 00:39:52,880 --> 00:39:57,560 technocratic State because that's 871 00:39:54,640 --> 00:40:01,280 exactly what the [ __ ] can happen even 872 00:39:57,560 --> 00:40:03,440 using crypto because Central planners 873 00:40:01,280 --> 00:40:05,160 under the guise of decentralization will 874 00:40:03,440 --> 00:40:07,200 sell you oh we're decentralized because 875 00:40:05,160 --> 00:40:10,200 we have a lot of nodes but at but who 876 00:40:07,200 --> 00:40:12,680 controls the protocol it's a group of 877 00:40:10,200 --> 00:40:14,599 developers competition is more important 878 00:40:12,680 --> 00:40:17,160 than decentralization because it is 879 00:40:14,599 --> 00:40:19,200 through free market competition that we 880 00:40:17,160 --> 00:40:22,000 figure out how many nodes we actually 881 00:40:19,200 --> 00:40:24,520 need in the first place let them compete 882 00:40:22,000 --> 00:40:26,240 never limit the productive capacity of 883 00:40:24,520 --> 00:40:29,800 capitalists because they are the ones 884 00:40:26,240 --> 00:40:32,160 that have the most to lose okay does 885 00:40:29,800 --> 00:40:34,119 Apple respect the privacy of their own 886 00:40:32,160 --> 00:40:36,160 of their of their 887 00:40:34,119 --> 00:40:40,640 users does anyone have any other 888 00:40:36,160 --> 00:40:43,480 questions one last question 889 00:40:40,640 --> 00:40:45,280 yes I mean yeah it is that's why we need 890 00:40:43,480 --> 00:40:47,079 Alternatives yeah we need Alternatives 891 00:40:45,280 --> 00:40:49,160 but how are we gonna have Alternatives 892 00:40:47,079 --> 00:40:51,800 if in crypto the message is is that 893 00:40:49,160 --> 00:40:53,119 everybody should build their own car 894 00:40:51,800 --> 00:40:55,079 like think about it that's literally 895 00:40:53,119 --> 00:40:57,040 what they're telling you I I have no 896 00:40:55,079 --> 00:40:58,440 problem with this word decentral ation 897 00:40:57,040 --> 00:41:00,240 but the thing is is that the implicit 898 00:40:58,440 --> 00:41:01,440 message is that imagine in the car 899 00:41:00,240 --> 00:41:02,839 industry everyone tells you that you 900 00:41:01,440 --> 00:41:04,920 need to build your own car and your own 901 00:41:02,839 --> 00:41:06,520 garage what I really feel safe in the 902 00:41:04,920 --> 00:41:09,359 road with like everybody building their 903 00:41:06,520 --> 00:41:11,920 own car dude if you want more if you 904 00:41:09,359 --> 00:41:14,560 want more bits and computational power 905 00:41:11,920 --> 00:41:17,000 to be able through the free open source 906 00:41:14,560 --> 00:41:19,640 space to be able to compete with apple 907 00:41:17,000 --> 00:41:21,640 you need to stop thinking like a Marxist 908 00:41:19,640 --> 00:41:23,359 and you need to start embracing 909 00:41:21,640 --> 00:41:27,040 capitalism that's what you really need 910 00:41:23,359 --> 00:41:29,720 to do and you need to allow capitalist 911 00:41:27,040 --> 00:41:31,560 to compete with each other and to be as 912 00:41:29,720 --> 00:41:33,800 big as they want to be because what is 913 00:41:31,560 --> 00:41:35,520 this issue in crypto that implicitly 914 00:41:33,800 --> 00:41:37,760 people have a problem with other people 915 00:41:35,520 --> 00:41:39,400 being better and more and better than 916 00:41:37,760 --> 00:41:41,800 than than them no dude in a true 917 00:41:39,400 --> 00:41:44,359 capitalist economy I can't be better 918 00:41:41,800 --> 00:41:46,119 than you and you can outon me and that's 919 00:41:44,359 --> 00:41:48,079 the beautiful thing about Satoshi give 920 00:41:46,119 --> 00:41:51,760 us because Satoshi did not give you a 921 00:41:48,079 --> 00:41:54,280 Perpetual machine for power satosi gave 922 00:41:51,760 --> 00:41:56,599 you like he gave you the opportunity to 923 00:41:54,280 --> 00:41:58,880 be the best of yourselves as at your 924 00:41:56,599 --> 00:42:00,880 prime meaning that you're only as good 925 00:41:58,880 --> 00:42:03,079 as you were in the last 10 minutes and 926 00:42:00,880 --> 00:42:06,480 after those last 10 minutes somebody can 927 00:42:03,079 --> 00:42:10,920 help compete you so no Bitcoin minor no 928 00:42:06,480 --> 00:42:14,599 minor in in proof of work can position 929 00:42:10,920 --> 00:42:16,839 themselves forever no business you ever 930 00:42:14,599 --> 00:42:20,599 build will ever out 931 00:42:16,839 --> 00:42:23,240 compete the blockchain question yeah 932 00:42:20,599 --> 00:42:25,240 thank you so um from your speech I heard 933 00:42:23,240 --> 00:42:27,079 that you're U very Pro on 934 00:42:25,240 --> 00:42:30,319 decentralization I share that Vision 935 00:42:27,079 --> 00:42:33,640 with you um it's if it's Market driven 936 00:42:30,319 --> 00:42:36,559 because right yeah so so uh for example 937 00:42:33,640 --> 00:42:39,640 radiant um that blockchain increases 938 00:42:36,559 --> 00:42:42,040 with around 250 megabytes per five 939 00:42:39,640 --> 00:42:44,040 minutes um which kind of makes it 940 00:42:42,040 --> 00:42:46,920 impossible for an ordinary person to run 941 00:42:44,040 --> 00:42:48,520 a full node so that makes it not 942 00:42:46,920 --> 00:42:51,640 decentralized at all makes it actually 943 00:42:48,520 --> 00:42:54,240 very centralized and reliant on huge 944 00:42:51,640 --> 00:42:56,760 data centers who store these terabytes 945 00:42:54,240 --> 00:42:59,000 of data so why are you so big on 946 00:42:56,760 --> 00:43:00,680 Radiance so the cool thing about 947 00:42:59,000 --> 00:43:03,599 Radiance is that it has three types of 948 00:43:00,680 --> 00:43:05,760 nodes uh and so they solve that problem 949 00:43:03,599 --> 00:43:07,920 they not only have mining nodes not only 950 00:43:05,760 --> 00:43:09,960 do they have personal nodes for you 951 00:43:07,920 --> 00:43:11,800 where you don't have to you don't have 952 00:43:09,960 --> 00:43:14,280 to run the whole blockchain but you if 953 00:43:11,800 --> 00:43:16,000 you could if you want it but you it's 954 00:43:14,280 --> 00:43:17,599 you can have a recursive zero knowledge 955 00:43:16,000 --> 00:43:21,599 proof with a proof within a proof within 956 00:43:17,599 --> 00:43:24,400 a proof in other words you can um you 957 00:43:21,599 --> 00:43:26,559 you can run off the tell end as well of 958 00:43:24,400 --> 00:43:28,800 the blockchain but there's also a agent 959 00:43:26,559 --> 00:43:30,440 nodes where if you have a point of sell 960 00:43:28,800 --> 00:43:33,440 you don't have to have the whole 961 00:43:30,440 --> 00:43:35,520 blockchain also stored so it in other 962 00:43:33,440 --> 00:43:37,880 words the cool thing about Radiance is 963 00:43:35,520 --> 00:43:39,480 that it does offer you that option like 964 00:43:37,880 --> 00:43:41,359 they saw what happened in crypto and 965 00:43:39,480 --> 00:43:43,559 they took the best of 966 00:43:41,359 --> 00:43:44,920 ethereum and everything all the [ __ ] 967 00:43:43,559 --> 00:43:47,119 storm that happened during the Bitcoin 968 00:43:44,920 --> 00:43:49,000 Civil War and they're starting this all 969 00:43:47,119 --> 00:43:52,400 over again and the reason I like it is 970 00:43:49,000 --> 00:43:54,559 because it's a playground where we can 971 00:43:52,400 --> 00:43:56,480 we can uh play with different types of 972 00:43:54,559 --> 00:43:58,599 zero knowledge proofs at the same same 973 00:43:56,480 --> 00:44:00,200 time by building cool apps at the same 974 00:43:58,599 --> 00:44:02,200 time that's why I like it because I 975 00:44:00,200 --> 00:44:03,440 don't have to marry myself to just one 976 00:44:02,200 --> 00:44:05,400 form of zero 977 00:44:03,440 --> 00:44:09,040 knowledge thank 978 00:44:05,400 --> 00:44:11,440 you all right man bringing the energy as 979 00:44:09,040 --> 00:44:13,920 always RAF final let's give it up hey 980 00:44:11,440 --> 00:44:16,280 thank you very much hey guys how about 981 00:44:13,920 --> 00:44:18,400 we give dog need a run of Applause for 982 00:44:16,280 --> 00:44:20,400 putting this together thank you because 983 00:44:18,400 --> 00:44:22,319 they they really are [ __ ] awesome 984 00:44:20,400 --> 00:44:24,119 dude you guys are amazing thank you so 985 00:44:22,319 --> 00:44:25,800 much for having us thank you for putting 986 00:44:24,119 --> 00:44:28,280 this together man it's beautiful you you 987 00:44:25,800 --> 00:44:29,480 know we met Robel the first time we met 988 00:44:28,280 --> 00:44:32,040 Rob I hope you don't mind me telling the 989 00:44:29,480 --> 00:44:34,640 story not at all into great detail sure 990 00:44:32,040 --> 00:44:38,119 yeah it was at the first Monero Con in 991 00:44:34,640 --> 00:44:41,440 Denver yeah Sita and I hosted Monero 992 00:44:38,119 --> 00:44:43,000 Afterparty we rented in a house and we 993 00:44:41,440 --> 00:44:44,559 opened it up the people to come stay at 994 00:44:43,000 --> 00:44:46,040 the house and Raphael was the first guy 995 00:44:44,559 --> 00:44:48,480 to hit us up he's like yo I want I want 996 00:44:46,040 --> 00:44:51,160 to come stay at the house 100% and uh we 997 00:44:48,480 --> 00:44:53,400 had an amazing time right yeah 998 00:44:51,160 --> 00:44:54,599 incredibly memorable beautiful house 999 00:44:53,400 --> 00:44:56,839 very and it's a house with a lot of 1000 00:44:54,599 --> 00:44:59,440 history so thank you so much for having 1001 00:44:56,839 --> 00:45:00,680 guys and guys literally again keep it 1002 00:44:59,440 --> 00:45:03,200 simple keep it simple when we talked 1003 00:45:00,680 --> 00:45:06,559 about about privacy it's just building 1004 00:45:03,200 --> 00:45:08,559 shelter that's it in the crypto World 1005 00:45:06,559 --> 00:45:10,400 especially in the Privacy crypto world 1006 00:45:08,559 --> 00:45:13,160 you guys are nothing you guys are just 1007 00:45:10,400 --> 00:45:15,480 involved in building real estate that's 1008 00:45:13,160 --> 00:45:17,640 it you guys are in a new type of real 1009 00:45:15,480 --> 00:45:20,400 estate market that's it guys thank you 1010 00:45:17,640 --> 00:45:23,200 so God good job good job man good job as 1011 00:45:20,400 --> 00:45:23,200 always cheers 1012 00:45:24,880 --> 00:45:34,980 brother 1013
