- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Let go here. We are six o'clock. Thank you so
- 0:05Speaker 2: much for starting your day with us. Ricky Sanchez has
- 0:07Speaker 2: those three things presented by Mark's main real estate.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Movie critics are not a fan of the new Michael
- 0:13Speaker 3: Jackson movie, but it looks like the debut weekend will
- 0:16Speaker 3: bring in a nice chunk of money for them. Only
- 0:19Speaker 3: one third of professional movie critics gave the movie Michael
- 0:22Speaker 3: a positive review, which is rough, but it looks like
- 0:25Speaker 3: early tracking for the biopic suggests a debut this weekend
- 0:29Speaker 3: of sixty million or more.
- 0:31Speaker 1: People are mostly.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Saying that the reason to watch the movie is to
- 0:34Speaker 3: experience Michael Jackson's nephew Jafar play him, because apparently he
- 0:38Speaker 3: was amazing.
- 0:39Speaker 1: So you can see the movie for yourself.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Starting this Friday, A new foam recycling drop off program
- 0:45Speaker 3: starts today here in Nashville. Residents now have a way
- 0:48Speaker 3: to recycle syrophoone for the first time, which is really great.
- 0:52Speaker 3: So you can bring your syrophoone to the East Convenience
- 0:54Speaker 3: Center for proper recycling.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Mayor Freddie O'Connell is going.
- 0:58Speaker 3: To demonstrate the new system today ten am to celebrate
- 1:01Speaker 3: Earth Day.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Which is also really cool.
- 1:04Speaker 3: So now you have a nice, easy way to recycle
- 1:07Speaker 3: your styropham because it's terrible to just put it in
- 1:09Speaker 3: the trash.
- 1:11Speaker 1: And Red Lobster.
- 1:12Speaker 3: They have brought back their Endless Shrimp deal two years
- 1:16Speaker 3: after filing for bankruptcy.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Partially because of this deal. So the chain previously removed.
- 1:21Speaker 3: The deal they filed for Chapter eleven bankruptcy in twenty
- 1:24Speaker 3: twenty four. They had said in those filings that it
- 1:27Speaker 3: was in part due to the eleven million dollar loss from.
- 1:30Speaker 1: The Endless Shrimp deal, so they got rid of it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: But now partly because everybody has demanded it and misses it,
- 1:38Speaker 3: they've decided to bring it back for a limited time
- 1:41Speaker 3: as of this week. So they're introducing a new flavor
- 1:44Speaker 3: as well. It's Marry Me Shrimp, which is shrimp and
- 1:47Speaker 3: a tomato cream sauce sprinkled garlic herb crumble. So not
- 1:50Speaker 3: only are you getting the Endless Shrimp deal back, you're
- 1:53Speaker 3: also getting a new flavor.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Amrichy Sanchez, And those are the three things you need
- 1:58Speaker 1: to know.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky. Here's Olivia Dean. More sounds tickets.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We've had em Alwi for the first caller of the
- 2:04Speaker 2: day the Sounds Game. We want to send you about
- 2:06Speaker 2: ten fifteen minutes. Are yours?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 2:11Speaker 2: On the river. That's justin Bieber. It's one oh seven
- 2:15Speaker 2: five the river, getting things started here on this Wednesday morning.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Just waking up saying good morning to Rebecca in Murphy's Borough.
- 2:21Speaker 2: How are you, friend?
- 2:23Speaker 4: Good?
- 2:25Speaker 5: We're good.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah, sounds like you're in the car going somewhere. Where
- 2:28Speaker 3: are you going, Rebecca, I'm going to work.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna guess that you work in the medical field.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Yes, nailed it, keV.
- 2:37Speaker 5: What do you do in the medical field?
- 2:39Speaker 1: I'm a caregiver? Okay, amazing that is.
- 2:42Speaker 3: That is a lot of work and a really amazing
- 2:44Speaker 3: job to have.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Yes, it is.
- 2:46Speaker 6: But it's not rewarding off though.
- 2:49Speaker 3: One hundred percent. It's got to be very rewarding. I
- 2:51Speaker 3: am very much in this like mindset right now because
- 2:54Speaker 3: of the pit where like everything that has to do
- 2:57Speaker 3: with medical like doctor, caregivers, nurses, everybody.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I'm like so hyper focused on.
- 3:03Speaker 5: All of it.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It's like all over my timeline, it's everywhere.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Yep.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Well, thank you for doing what you're doing, because I
- 3:10Speaker 2: know you're making a difference for a lot of people
- 3:12Speaker 2: out there, So thank.
- 3:12Speaker 3: You, thank you, and I'm sure you need a break, Rebecca,
- 3:16Speaker 3: which is going to be great news for you because
- 3:18Speaker 3: you are the first caller of the day on one
- 3:20Speaker 3: of seven five of the River, and you're getting tickets
- 3:22Speaker 3: to come to the Sounds next week with me.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Oh all right, that sounds wonderful.
- 3:27Speaker 3: It's gonna be halfway to Halloween, so there's gonna be
- 3:29Speaker 3: people in costumes. They said eerie surprises, so I'm very
- 3:33Speaker 3: curious what that means. But festive entertainment, all that good stuff.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I will be there as well. It's happening April twenty eighth.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, have fun, have a great day today, and
- 3:44Speaker 2: thank you so much for coming, thank you for listening.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Hang on the line for a sec Ricky, are you
- 3:50Speaker 2: gonna wear a costume when you go?
- 3:51Speaker 3: I don't have a costume to wear, but I do
- 3:54Speaker 3: have like spooky themed like shirt shirt stuff, so that.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Is where I'm going.
- 3:59Speaker 5: I have a costume you can wear. We keep it
- 4:01Speaker 5: in our closet.
- 4:02Speaker 1: All my god, your peanut butter and jelly costume.
- 4:04Speaker 5: I'll be the peanut butter to your jelly.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Zach and David wear the same costume every single year
- 4:09Speaker 2: for Halloween.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Ricky does not want to do that with me now.
- 4:14Speaker 2: More take it same time.
- 4:17Speaker 3: A little confused about where this is about to go.
- 4:20Speaker 3: But no shocker here because Zach's the one that's about
- 4:24Speaker 3: to tell us the story of where to find your
- 4:26Speaker 3: significant other, even though he has a significant other.
- 4:28Speaker 7: I'm just saying, if you're single, then I have like
- 4:30Speaker 7: the best place that you should be hanging out to
- 4:32Speaker 7: find your significant other.
- 4:33Speaker 2: This isn't about the car wash again, is it with
- 4:35Speaker 2: the shirtless guy?
- 4:36Speaker 5: It is not about.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Oh he has a name now, yeah, okay, right after
- 4:42Speaker 2: Olivia Dean Zach, who's in a relationship, We'll tell you
- 4:44Speaker 2: where to find a significant other.
- 4:46Speaker 8: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 4:48Speaker 8: and Menno in the morning on the River, Zach.
- 4:51Speaker 2: A second ago said that he has I don't know
- 4:54Speaker 2: a PSA for single people that are looking to meet somebody.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Zach is in a relationship, but apparently he knows just
- 5:01Speaker 2: where to go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I don't know why he's looking.
- 5:03Speaker 5: I'm not looking.
- 5:04Speaker 7: I'm just saying, if you are single and you are looking,
- 5:06Speaker 7: go to the laundromat. And I have to say this
- 5:10Speaker 7: because I spent like four hours at the laundromat yesterday
- 5:13Speaker 7: washing like all of the cushions on my couch and
- 5:15Speaker 7: like all of the big things in my house that
- 5:17Speaker 7: don't fit in my washing machine at home. So I
- 5:19Speaker 7: spent like all day at the laundromat, and I made
- 5:21Speaker 7: so many friends while I was there because we're both
- 5:23Speaker 7: just sitting there with nothing.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Else to do for like four hours.
- 5:27Speaker 7: So I was like, if you are single, go to
- 5:28Speaker 7: the laundromat and just start talking to people.
- 5:31Speaker 5: The way Ricky's just staring.
- 5:33Speaker 3: At me, I feel like, I understand where you're going
- 5:37Speaker 3: with this.
- 5:38Speaker 1: But like, when I go.
- 5:40Speaker 3: To the laundromat, there's not anybody my age.
- 5:45Speaker 7: I feel like it's becoming more and more common for
- 5:47Speaker 7: people our age to go to the laundromat. Okay, I
- 5:50Speaker 7: made a lot of friends the one in East Nashville,
- 5:54Speaker 7: soap opry laundry.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Okay, just you know, you gotta shout it out because
- 5:58Speaker 3: if there's kids that are there, people that are younger, Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 3: I'm seeing kids because normally would I go, there's like
- 6:03Speaker 3: seventy five year old there.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So in comparison, we are children.
- 6:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 7: No, it was people my age that we like became
- 6:09Speaker 7: friends and followed each other on social media. I was like,
- 6:11Speaker 7: we're just sitting here for four hours, we have nothing
- 6:13Speaker 7: else to do.
- 6:14Speaker 5: But it's like, yeah, one quick question.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I used to go to the lunchrom madt all the time. Uh,
- 6:18Speaker 2: four hours seems excessive, Like if you wash everything at
- 6:20Speaker 2: the same time and then dry everything at the same time,
- 6:22Speaker 2: it should not be taking you four hours.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Well, here's the thing, Kevin is.
- 6:26Speaker 7: There was only I have to use like the biggest
- 6:28Speaker 7: one possible to fit my couch cushions in, and there
- 6:31Speaker 7: was only one working. So I had to do like
- 6:33Speaker 7: three or four loads, but one at a time. There
- 6:35Speaker 7: was only one machine working.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Okay, so this is occupied the majority of your day.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yesterday you made some friends.
- 6:41Speaker 7: Yeah, and I had a blast. There was a little
- 6:43Speaker 7: chicken place next door. We went and got chicken tenders together.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Did you make friends with hawk eyes?
- 6:48Speaker 9: No?
- 6:48Speaker 5: They were all females.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay.
- 6:51Speaker 3: So if you're a male looking to find a female,
- 6:54Speaker 3: straight mail or I have one straight male looking to
- 6:56Speaker 3: find a female.
- 6:57Speaker 7: That you could go either way. There were men there,
- 7:00Speaker 7: you know. I just don't get along with straight men
- 7:01Speaker 7: very well.
- 7:03Speaker 2: What I should respond to that? But we don't have
- 7:06Speaker 2: time but one more times. Like the name of this
- 7:09Speaker 2: you know, hoppin' singles scene.
- 7:11Speaker 7: It is a soap opery laundry in East Nashville. I'm
- 7:14Speaker 7: telling you it's the place to be.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Love it.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I listen, I like I said, I feel like I
- 7:18Speaker 3: get where you're going with this. I just didn't believe
- 7:20Speaker 3: that there were people under the age of seventy five.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Even if you just want to make friends go to
- 7:24Speaker 5: the laundromatic.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Hey, yeah, you want to make friends, or if you
- 7:27Speaker 3: are a straight man looking for a woman or a
- 7:30Speaker 3: woman looking for a woman, there's a lot of ladies
- 7:32Speaker 3: at the laundromatic.
- 7:33Speaker 1: There were.
- 7:34Speaker 5: It was Poppin' three things.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Right, Thank you for starting your Wednesday with us. Good
- 7:41Speaker 2: to see you. Happy you're here. Ricky's got those three
- 7:43Speaker 2: things presented by Mark's Bain Real Estate.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Anne Hathaway asked Devil War's Product two producers to cast diverse.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Models in the film.
- 7:52Speaker 3: So she went to producers and brought up the idea
- 7:54Speaker 3: of adding more diverse models to the cast.
- 7:56Speaker 1: After she was on set and she went, I think
- 7:59Speaker 1: we should.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Switch this up.
- 8:00Speaker 3: She said they immediately said yes, and apologized for not
- 8:02Speaker 3: realizing the lack of diversity sooner and said that within
- 8:06Speaker 3: two hours more models appeared on set. So to put
- 8:09Speaker 3: it simply, she told Canada's E Talk that quote, we're
- 8:12Speaker 3: all kind of happier when everybody feels included. That's why
- 8:16Speaker 3: she decided.
- 8:17Speaker 1: To bring it up.
- 8:18Speaker 3: And obviously it's making a lot of headlines right now.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Because of the fact that inclusive.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Wow, I can't say it one more time. Inclusivity, yeah,
- 8:28Speaker 3: is very important. The devilwares proud. It too, will hit
- 8:31Speaker 3: theaters in May first for you to see it for yourself.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Metro Council has passed zoning for a brand new East
- 8:37Speaker 3: National neighborhood. The neighborhood is going to replace the East
- 8:40Speaker 3: National scrap yard area on the banks of the Coverline River.
- 8:43Speaker 3: The new Wascoto Bend neighborhood, which was initially called the
- 8:47Speaker 3: East Bend, is going to replace the current industrial buildings
- 8:50Speaker 3: that are all in that area. This is supposed to
- 8:53Speaker 3: like blend with the redevelopment of the East Bank and
- 8:56Speaker 3: River North neighborhoods that are nearby. They're really trying to
- 8:58Speaker 3: build up that whole air and give more space for
- 9:02Speaker 3: locals to have housing. No word on when that's all
- 9:06Speaker 3: going to be finished. Obviously, the zoning just got permitted,
- 9:09Speaker 3: so we're gonna have to give them some time to
- 9:10Speaker 3: have all of that put up.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But I will keep you posted on all of that.
- 9:14Speaker 3: And a new study says that AI chatbots are not
- 9:17Speaker 3: ready to answer medical questions accurately. I feel like that's
- 9:20Speaker 3: something we should all know, but I am gonna say
- 9:22Speaker 3: it to you now.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Just in case you didn't. It's okay if you didn't
- 9:25Speaker 1: know that.
- 9:25Speaker 3: But a study at the Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation
- 9:30Speaker 3: their medical center, they looked at AI chatbots and specifically
- 9:35Speaker 3: looked at how they handled scientific misinformation. They tested free
- 9:38Speaker 3: versions of Google's chatbots, Gemini, Deep Seek, Meta AI chat GBT.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And Grock.
- 9:44Speaker 3: In this study, half of the responses were problematic, with
- 9:48Speaker 3: nineteen point six percent being highly problematic.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Out of all of them, Grock performed the worst.
- 9:55Speaker 3: They noted that the chatbots did sometimes give disclaimers when
- 9:58Speaker 3: asked about medical questions, but then they shared the problematic
- 10:02Speaker 3: options anyway afterward, which I'm sure they give the disclaimer
- 10:07Speaker 3: because legally they are supposed to, but still having the
- 10:10Speaker 3: misinformation does not help, obviously, So the best bet right
- 10:14Speaker 3: now is to still go to the doctor. Guys, if there,
- 10:16Speaker 3: if you have a medical question, go see your doctor.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Find a doctor that you trust and believe in.
- 10:21Speaker 1: And go to them.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Don't go to the AI chatbots because you may get
- 10:24Speaker 3: some really scary information from them, because they're just pulling
- 10:27Speaker 3: from things on the internet. You know, they don't know
- 10:29Speaker 3: what's right or wrong. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
- 10:31Speaker 3: the three things.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You need to know.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. I admit I've been guilty of that.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I've asked several medical questions to chat gpe.
- 10:36Speaker 1: That doesn't surprise me at all. Kevin, Well, let's.
- 10:38Speaker 2: You know you're okay. Thank you. Right after Sober, we're
- 10:41Speaker 2: going to learn zax Fax. You can trust Zach. I'll
- 10:43Speaker 2: tell you that he's never given misinformation.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Never.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Right after.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Lass is in Sessions Sachs Facts brought to you by
- 10:55Speaker 3: Mark Spain Real Estate on.
- 10:58Speaker 7: You guys have any idea what in your sixty thousand
- 11:01Speaker 7: miles long.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Your skin? Well we're intestine, Kevin said, your skin isn't
- 11:08Speaker 3: your skin your biggest organ?
- 11:09Speaker 5: Well, yes it is. Your largest organ.
- 11:11Speaker 7: But the human circulatory system is more than sixty thousand
- 11:15Speaker 7: miles long, so your blood vessels, so your.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Heart gets a lot of credit.
- 11:18Speaker 7: But all of your blood vessels inside your body, if
- 11:21Speaker 7: you like follow them all the way around, it adds
- 11:23Speaker 7: up to more than sixty thousand miles of blood vessels
- 11:26Speaker 7: inside of your body.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Good lord, I'm just picturing what that would look like
- 11:29Speaker 3: in that's in See.
- 11:30Speaker 5: It's kind of crazy. So there's your fact of the day.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on one O
- 11:36Speaker 4: seven five The.
- 11:36Speaker 3: River prom drama is unfortunately part of the experience.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I hate to say it. It's one of seven five
- 11:42Speaker 1: the River.
- 11:43Speaker 3: We want to know the prom drama that you're either
- 11:45Speaker 3: going through right now, if you're going to prom or
- 11:47Speaker 3: just went to one, or if you went to prom
- 11:50Speaker 3: years ago and something big happened to you.
- 11:52Speaker 1: We want to hear about it.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It's kind of inevitable. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 11:55Speaker 2: one oh seven. And Ricky yesterday briefly mentioned the story
- 11:59Speaker 2: where she was supposed to go to problem with the
- 12:00Speaker 2: guy but then she didn't end up going. We don't
- 12:02Speaker 2: know the story, but can we get that from you too.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Yes, I will give my story.
- 12:06Speaker 2: You had your own Prome drama, but we want to
- 12:08Speaker 2: hear yours. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine seven.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Nno in the morning.
- 12:14Speaker 2: On the River. Prom season is upon us, and with
- 12:18Speaker 2: it comes drama. It's inevitable, Michelle, and Nashville is on
- 12:22Speaker 2: the line. Who is having the prom drama in your life?
- 12:24Speaker 10: Michelle my seventeen year old?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Oh boy, what's happening?
- 12:32Speaker 10: Okay, we go and we get dressed. I have to
- 12:35Speaker 10: buy more than one. So this one's red dress is
- 12:39Speaker 10: beautiful on her, I mean really beautiful. Everybody loves it.
- 12:43Speaker 10: And then somebody tells her, well, everybody's wearing red, so
- 12:47Speaker 10: I'm having to run around last minute because I promise
- 12:50Speaker 10: was weekend, run around last minute. And a purple dress,
- 12:54Speaker 10: which she finds out nobody's wearing purple. Horrible. Oh my god,
- 12:58Speaker 10: I'm a purple dress. But it was so overpriced.
- 13:02Speaker 7: I was going to say, Michelle, how much have you
- 13:04Speaker 7: spent on all of these dresses so far?
- 13:06Speaker 10: I am embarrassed to say.
- 13:08Speaker 2: At this point, tell me, no, don't.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I think the idea that you're embarrassed at this point
- 13:14Speaker 3: is enough for us to know that it's a lot
- 13:16Speaker 3: of money.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 10: Yeah, but I did take take a few of them back,
- 13:20Speaker 10: so I'm not that bad I pocket, but I've kept
- 13:22Speaker 10: two of them.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Does she love the purple dress enough though, that she's
- 13:26Speaker 3: going to keep it?
- 13:27Speaker 10: She said she does. I just don't think it's as
- 13:30Speaker 10: pretty as the red one. I kept the rib one.
- 13:32Speaker 2: So she didn't want to wear a red because she
- 13:34Speaker 2: want to wear what everybody was wearing. She wanted to
- 13:36Speaker 2: blend in with the crowd. She wanted to stand all right,
- 13:38Speaker 2: you're a great mom.
- 13:39Speaker 10: Yeah, this is my last who so I'm trying to
- 13:43Speaker 10: do best by my baby. But I just hope she
- 13:46Speaker 10: has a wonderful time in this purple dress.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Or she switches it up last minute and ends up
- 13:52Speaker 3: going with the red one, which everyone makes her happy right.
- 13:55Speaker 10: Now, but the date had to match her.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Oh that's ram now that right? Oh my god.
- 14:01Speaker 3: There's just so many details, guys, there's so many details.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I forgot about all the things.
- 14:07Speaker 10: Yeah, they look funny with him.
- 14:10Speaker 2: You're right, well, thank you, Michelle. Good luck to you
- 14:14Speaker 2: all over there, and I am sure it'll be great.
- 14:16Speaker 10: Okay, thank you y'all.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Guy.
- 14:18Speaker 10: Great morning.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I know, we have Emily on hold and some more
- 14:23Speaker 2: people to talk to. But Ricky, can we get your
- 14:24Speaker 2: story now? You mentioned this yesterday that there was a
- 14:26Speaker 2: guy you were supposed to go with, and you're like,
- 14:28Speaker 2: this is a story for another day.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Did he cheat on you?
- 14:31Speaker 3: Y'all brought up about to be like, this is the
- 14:33Speaker 3: most ricky story I've ever heard in my life. No,
- 14:35Speaker 3: he did not cheat on me. We were not dating
- 14:37Speaker 3: at the time. Okay, one of the people in my
- 14:39Speaker 3: friend group decided that all of us were all going
- 14:41Speaker 3: to go together, like each guy was going to go
- 14:43Speaker 3: with one.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Of the girls.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I wanted to go to prom alone. I did not
- 14:46Speaker 3: want to go with anybody. I didn't want to babysit anybody.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I didn't want to worry about anybody. I didn't want
- 14:50Speaker 3: to do this. And the guy that I was supposed
- 14:52Speaker 3: to go to a problem with had a huge crush
- 14:53Speaker 3: on me and had asked me multiple times and I
- 14:55Speaker 3: kept telling him no. So I finally said yes to him,
- 14:58Speaker 3: like the third time that he had asked me.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I was like, fine, guess I'll go with you because.
- 15:01Speaker 5: We're wear.
- 15:04Speaker 3: But I was like, we're friends, and like, we're just
- 15:06Speaker 3: gonna go as friends though, you need to know that.
- 15:09Speaker 3: And he was like, yes, fine whatever. He literally stopped,
- 15:11Speaker 3: he stood in front of my car and wouldn't move
- 15:14Speaker 3: from in front of my car.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Until I said yes. So I was like fine, whatever.
- 15:18Speaker 1: So he's all excited. We have everything set for prom.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I get my dress, all these things, and I come
- 15:24Speaker 3: from a small town where there's not a lot to do. Okay,
- 15:26Speaker 3: so a lot of kids, we all we got in
- 15:28Speaker 3: a lot of trouble, okay, silly things, and he got arrested.
- 15:32Speaker 1: What he got arrested. And when he got arrested.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Uh, the school took action and said you can't go
- 15:37Speaker 3: to prom anymore.
- 15:38Speaker 5: So you lucked out because he wanted to go alone
- 15:40Speaker 5: the whole time.
- 15:40Speaker 3: And it wasn't just him, but it was every guy
- 15:42Speaker 3: in our guy group. So everybody lost. The arrested, all
- 15:47Speaker 3: of them got arrested. They were all together when this
- 15:49Speaker 3: event had happened, and they all were not allowed to
- 15:51Speaker 3: go to prom. So every single girl in our group
- 15:54Speaker 3: didn't have a prom date. So they all lost their minds, right.
- 15:57Speaker 3: They were like, I had to find a prom date,
- 15:59Speaker 3: and every one of them like scramble to find somebody.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I still got to go by myself, so it all
- 16:03Speaker 3: worked out for me.
- 16:04Speaker 5: Here you go and he's sitting in the prison cell,
- 16:07Speaker 5: and that poor.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Man had to buy my to buy my flowers, and
- 16:12Speaker 3: I wanted the most expensive one because I love orchids,
- 16:15Speaker 3: and he still picked it up and brought it to
- 16:17Speaker 3: me at the place where I took pictures, which was
- 16:19Speaker 3: very very sweet.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Him and I are still friends to this day.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Oh that's nice and I just another story for another day.
- 16:24Speaker 2: We got to hear why all these guys got arrested
- 16:26Speaker 2: at some point in the future, but for now. Prom drama,
- 16:29Speaker 2: we want yours six one, five, seven, three, seven nine.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 16:35Speaker 3: On Ely elevenon Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Tell us all about your prom drama. Is it something
- 16:43Speaker 3: that you went through for prom or do you have
- 16:45Speaker 3: a kid that's going through it now?
- 16:47Speaker 11: So it's something that I went through, and Zach actually
- 16:49Speaker 11: would remember me and I went to high school together.
- 16:52Speaker 11: So it was the twenty ten prom. We have the
- 16:56Speaker 11: mafood and it flooded the whole hotel.
- 17:01Speaker 7: That's what I was about to say, is like that
- 17:02Speaker 7: was my prom drama. Is like we literally had to
- 17:05Speaker 7: evacuate because it flooded the entire hotel.
- 17:07Speaker 5: What.
- 17:08Speaker 11: Yeah, they didn't. They didn't like decide we could do
- 17:11Speaker 11: prom on another day. I remember going to dinner beforehand
- 17:14Speaker 11: and the power going out. I had to run out
- 17:17Speaker 11: and I was wearing like six inch heels and the
- 17:20Speaker 11: blood water was already up to my shins.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Yez, So, Kevin, you never heard this story because that
- 17:25Speaker 3: told me this story years ago.
- 17:27Speaker 2: No, I've never heard this. So you guys went to
- 17:28Speaker 2: high school together? First of all, did you know each other?
- 17:30Speaker 11: I need to know that we were inquired together. My
- 17:32Speaker 11: maiden name is Klin, Emily Klin.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that. Okay, So was it was it
- 17:39Speaker 2: a rainy night? Was that at the issue? Or did
- 17:41Speaker 2: like a pipe burst?
- 17:42Speaker 1: No, like the entire city flood, city flooded.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 7: It was like the most dramatic blood in all of
- 17:48Speaker 7: history in Nashville, and it like literally flooded everything. They
- 17:51Speaker 7: were like churches floating down the inner state. The flood
- 17:54Speaker 7: was so bad.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Problems.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 11: Yeah, they sent all these you know, sixteen seventeen, eighteen
- 18:04Speaker 11: year olds out there, and you know, we were all
- 18:06Speaker 11: driving home trying to get through the flood. That was
- 18:09Speaker 11: the one night I was ever allowed to spend the
- 18:10Speaker 11: night at my boyfriend's house because I couldn't get to
- 18:13Speaker 11: my house.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Yeah. It was crazy, Wow, so crazy.
- 18:16Speaker 3: That's that's some prom drama and it's not even drama
- 18:19Speaker 3: that anybody ensued.
- 18:20Speaker 5: It just happened.
- 18:20Speaker 1: The universe, the mother nature was the drama.
- 18:23Speaker 5: They said, not today, Satan.
- 18:26Speaker 11: Yeah exactly.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Emily, thank you for calling in and for sparking that
- 18:29Speaker 3: memory for Zach, of course.
- 18:31Speaker 11: Yeah, thank you. I was excited to call for the
- 18:33Speaker 11: first time because I've been thinking. I listen every day
- 18:36Speaker 11: and I always think about that because you know, so
- 18:38Speaker 11: I was just excited to call before.
- 18:41Speaker 2: We let you yoke and the two of you still
- 18:43Speaker 2: harmonize together. Do we think we can still carry it
- 18:45Speaker 2: to Kevin?
- 18:46Speaker 3: No, Kevin, that's not happening. Emily, thank you so much
- 18:51Speaker 3: for listening every day and for calling in today.
- 18:53Speaker 1: We hope you have a great day.
- 18:55Speaker 3: You dude.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Thanks guys, byee, we have usher time with the game
- 18:58Speaker 2: of the day.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
- 19:04Speaker 1: The Roger and Hermitage. Welcome to one oh seven five
- 19:07Speaker 1: the River.
- 19:07Speaker 3: We're playing Kevin Manno's Game of the Day for tickets
- 19:10Speaker 3: to see Usher and Chris Brown at Nissan Stadium, July
- 19:12Speaker 3: twenty fifth.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Welcome man, How you doing I'm doing pretty good?
- 19:15Speaker 4: How are you doing good?
- 19:16Speaker 2: Although Roger was telling us off the air that he
- 19:18Speaker 2: doesn't think he's going to be good at this game.
- 19:21Speaker 10: Nope, nope, nope, I've been I'm not I'm batten zero.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Oh no, you've been playing, been playing along in the
- 19:28Speaker 2: car this week, listening and you haven't known these TV
- 19:31Speaker 2: show theme songs. Do you watch a lot of TV?
- 19:33Speaker 10: I do.
- 19:34Speaker 11: I just don't listen to the to the to the music.
- 19:37Speaker 9: At a time.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I get that you can now skip through the intros too,
- 19:40Speaker 3: so that part makes it a little hard to.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Get about it.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Ford, Well, if you get two out of three of
- 19:46Speaker 2: him right, which we don't have a good feeling about,
- 19:48Speaker 2: We're giving you these tickets to see Usher and Chris Brown.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Are you ready to play?
- 19:51Speaker 5: Let's do it all right.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Roger and Hermitage. Your game starts right now. Theme song
- 19:56Speaker 2: number one. That's all you get.
- 20:05Speaker 4: I have no idea what that is.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Harmonic?
- 20:08Speaker 2: It is iconic?
- 20:10Speaker 9: Is it?
- 20:11Speaker 4: Is it euphoria?
- 20:13Speaker 2: I'm going to change my answer yes, change your answer, please,
- 20:17Speaker 2: stranger things. No, no, no, you're more wrong.
- 20:26Speaker 11: I don't know anything.
- 20:27Speaker 2: That one was the Sopranos. That's the sopranos. You picture
- 20:29Speaker 2: Tony Soprano driving Dorando.
- 20:32Speaker 10: That's my age too.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I should know that one New Jersey anyway, Roger, all right,
- 20:38Speaker 2: this one, hopeing you. This one's a little bit older,
- 20:40Speaker 2: maybe from your childhood. You need this to stay alive.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Here we go. Is that the hurricane here in Duckburg.
- 20:52Speaker 2: That's a big clue, ah ducktails. Okay, that's a great theme.
- 21:01Speaker 2: You knew one, buddy. We're proud of you. You were
- 21:03Speaker 2: proud of you. Here we go. I know, I know
- 21:05Speaker 2: it was the cartoons to remember. I will say this
- 21:07Speaker 2: one is very easy. If you get this wrong, you
- 21:10Speaker 2: should be deeply ashamed of yourself. Okay, okay, all right,
- 21:14Speaker 2: here we go, your last one, Jesu the story?
- 21:19Speaker 4: All right?
- 21:21Speaker 10: What is.
- 21:27Speaker 2: All of nationalists cheering for you right now? Nobody had
- 21:29Speaker 2: any faith? Congratulations, Thank you so much. You're welcome.
- 21:34Speaker 1: We're very proud of you.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Hang on the line so we can get your info
- 21:37Speaker 3: and make sure you get these tickets to see Usher
- 21:38Speaker 3: and Chris Brown at Nissan Stadium.
- 21:40Speaker 11: Okay, thanks guys.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Wow, I can't believe I passed that test. Neither can we.
- 21:44Speaker 2: We're playing the same game tomorrow, same time for the
- 21:47Speaker 2: same tickets. Be here to name that TV tune.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Three things after.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Eight o'clock here on this Wednesday morning. We really appreciate
- 21:55Speaker 2: you listening, starting your day with us. Thank you for that. Rick,
- 21:57Speaker 2: He's got those three things, presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 22:00Speaker 3: New album comes out May fifteenth.
- 22:02Speaker 1: It's been announced on Monday.
- 22:04Speaker 3: He did this whole stunt where he froze the date
- 22:06Speaker 3: inside a twenty five foot pyramid of ice, weighing and
- 22:10Speaker 3: estimated two hundred tons. He said that you'd have to
- 22:13Speaker 3: wait until the ice melted to learn the drop date
- 22:15Speaker 3: of his new album, which is titled Iceman. So it
- 22:18Speaker 3: totally makes sense. There was a little bit of a
- 22:20Speaker 3: situation though, because Toronto Police were actually called to the
- 22:23Speaker 3: display because a lot of people got impatient. They didn't
- 22:26Speaker 3: want it to wait for it to melt, so they
- 22:28Speaker 3: started bringing out flame throwers, hammers and pickaxes to try
- 22:33Speaker 3: to get at the ice to.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Find out when the album was gonna be released.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yeah, so the officer stayed there just to make sure
- 22:40Speaker 3: that everybody was safe.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Nothing bad actually happened.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Eventually, a Twitch streamer named Kishka had found the blue
- 22:47Speaker 3: folder inside of the ice. He went to Drake's Toronto home.
- 22:51Speaker 3: He opened it, revealed the date, and then Kishka got
- 22:54Speaker 3: it rewarded with a bunch of cash. No idea how
- 22:57Speaker 3: much exactly, but he got a bag of cash, which
- 23:00Speaker 3: is pretty crazy.
- 23:01Speaker 1: But now we know. May fifteenth is when the new
- 23:03Speaker 1: album comes out.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Iceman Palato has landed on Open Tables Top one hundred
- 23:09Speaker 3: brunch restaurants list for twenty twenty six. If you haven't
- 23:12Speaker 3: checked them out, you absolutely have to. Only two Tennessee
- 23:15Speaker 3: spots made the list, Plato right here in Nashville and
- 23:18Speaker 3: Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro and Townsend were the only two
- 23:22Speaker 3: in Tennessee, So.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Congrats to Plato. As a gluten free girly, highly recommend them.
- 23:27Speaker 1: They have so many.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Options if you're gluten free, and all of it is
- 23:31Speaker 3: very good, so go check them out. And The Secret
- 23:34Speaker 3: Lives of Mormon Wives, they're going to resume production for
- 23:37Speaker 3: their next season. They were on hiatus for a little
- 23:40Speaker 3: bit because of Taylor, Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. They
- 23:43Speaker 3: had a bunch of domestic violence allegations against each other.
- 23:47Speaker 1: They went to court last week.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Utah prosecutors decided that they were not going to file
- 23:52Speaker 3: charges against them, and there is a hearing coming up
- 23:56Speaker 3: about custody. So they're kind of making their way through
- 23:59Speaker 3: this situation as of right now. The show as a
- 24:01Speaker 3: Hole made the decision to not continue filming during this situation,
- 24:05Speaker 3: and they wanted to wait until it was resolved in court.
- 24:08Speaker 1: But now they are gonna start filming again. It's gonna
- 24:10Speaker 1: be without.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Taylor or Dakota, so not sure how they're gonna handle
- 24:14Speaker 3: that because production had already started prior. We don't know
- 24:16Speaker 3: if they're going to keep parts of their storyline in
- 24:20Speaker 3: the season and then kind of feed them out, or
- 24:23Speaker 3: if they're kind of starting all over again.
- 24:25Speaker 1: We'll see what happens. I'm Rickie Sanchez, and those are
- 24:27Speaker 1: the three things you need to know.
- 24:28Speaker 2: All right, Thank you very much, Ricky. We're gonna play
- 24:30Speaker 2: Olivia Dean and then hopefully get you some money, some
- 24:33Speaker 2: fat stacks, yo, Come get that paper, Wow that bread.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Nope, I'm gonna turn off your micy.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Don't stop paying the bells. We have a keyword. That
- 24:43Speaker 2: keyword could get you one thousand dollars right after the song. Okay,
- 24:46Speaker 2: so three minutes your chance to win a grand on
- 24:48Speaker 2: the river.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 24:52Speaker 2: On the riverkey.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Hot take here on one O seven five the River.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I think you're all lying and you're not actually spring clean.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Oh my god, what are you saying.
- 25:02Speaker 3: I don't think that any of you are actually like
- 25:04Speaker 3: pulling out your refrigerator and you're oven and getting in there,
- 25:09Speaker 3: taking down your curtains and washing them. I don't think
- 25:12Speaker 3: you're doing any of those things. I think people just
- 25:14Speaker 3: like to say that they do to feel better.
- 25:16Speaker 7: I feel like you're just pushing it on us because
- 25:19Speaker 7: you're not doing it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I don't think anybody's doing it.
- 25:21Speaker 2: So you think people are claiming to do their spring cleaning,
- 25:26Speaker 2: but they're not really getting deep. Yep, it's surface level, like.
- 25:29Speaker 1: They're not actually spring cleaning.
- 25:30Speaker 2: You're accusing everybody of being dirty six one five, seven,
- 25:33Speaker 2: three seven nine seven. If you would like to defend
- 25:35Speaker 2: yourself against Ricky, if you don't call and defend yourself,
- 25:38Speaker 2: I guess we just we uh say that she's right.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And that nobody's actually going it.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I would love nothing more.
- 25:43Speaker 2: If you want to defend your spring cleaning skills, give
- 25:46Speaker 2: us a caller's beaver with Nicky on the River.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 25:51Speaker 8: and Menno in the morning, Langley, it's.
- 25:55Speaker 2: One oh seven five the river. Ashley in Nashville is
- 25:57Speaker 2: on the line. I believe with a rebuttal to what
- 26:00Speaker 2: Ricky said Ricky's hot take a moment ago, that nobody
- 26:02Speaker 2: is actually properly spring cleaning. What do you think, Ashley?
- 26:06Speaker 6: You know, actually don't have a rebuttal. I am here
- 26:08Speaker 6: to just say that I completely agree with Ricky what
- 26:12Speaker 6: my version of sleep cleaning is, like mopping the floors
- 26:17Speaker 6: and doing those things. I'm not taking the curtains down,
- 26:19Speaker 6: I'm not pulling out the soap. I might clean inside
- 26:21Speaker 6: the soap, but I haven't pulled that thing out all year.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm saying I really feel like everybody just likes
- 26:28Speaker 3: to say, like, oh, today's the spring cleaning day, I'm
- 26:30Speaker 3: gonna be cleaning all day, but they're not actually doing
- 26:32Speaker 3: what they say they're doing, Like, are you really getting
- 26:35Speaker 3: in there?
- 26:35Speaker 1: You're not?
- 26:36Speaker 6: I do I agree really like you're you're cleaning everything,
- 26:40Speaker 6: taking out the refrigerator.
- 26:41Speaker 7: Literally, we pull out the fridge, we pull out the oven,
- 26:43Speaker 7: and then we like that now the baseboards. Yeah, I
- 26:47Speaker 7: feel like I also take the curtains down and I
- 26:49Speaker 7: throw them in the washing machine put them back up.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Okay that I believe Zach. Zach is very clean. Him
- 26:56Speaker 2: and David they keep a clean house.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Okay, I feel like Kevin's calling us dirty.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Now. Actually I'm saying I believe Zach. I don't do
- 27:03Speaker 2: those I don't do those things exactly.
- 27:04Speaker 5: Is saying.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I'm not saying I'm there.
- 27:06Speaker 5: So y'all are all filthy.
- 27:07Speaker 2: But here's my thing. In my mind, spring cleaning is
- 27:10Speaker 2: more about like decluttering, like getting rid of things you
- 27:14Speaker 2: don't like clutter. Yeah, I mean we always donate a
- 27:17Speaker 2: bunch of stuff in the springtime. Like that's our version
- 27:19Speaker 2: of spring cleaning. Am I the only one?
- 27:21Speaker 9: No?
- 27:22Speaker 1: I think that's part of Ashley and I are silent.
- 27:25Speaker 7: That is part of spring cleaning. I think it's both.
- 27:28Speaker 7: I think it's the deep clean of the house and
- 27:30Speaker 7: decluttering and like donating clothes and like donating things that
- 27:32Speaker 7: you don't use anymore.
- 27:33Speaker 5: I think two things can be true.
- 27:36Speaker 6: I think decluttering, yes, but I just don't see that
- 27:39Speaker 6: everyone is intoing all that that deep cleaning.
- 27:41Speaker 10: I agree with.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Thank you, Ashley, Thank you. I appreciate it. I feel indicated.
- 27:46Speaker 5: You just made her so happy.
- 27:48Speaker 6: Good you guys have a great day. Thank you so much.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I'm just so happy to know that I'm right.
- 27:56Speaker 7: I'm so happy to know that I will not be
- 27:58Speaker 7: going to your apartment anytime soon.
- 28:00Speaker 5: Be filthy animal.
- 28:02Speaker 3: It's just you ge't It's so much work. I just
- 28:05Speaker 3: don't believe people are really doing it. I guess you're
- 28:07Speaker 3: the only one. Zach, congrats to you.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Kudos, kudos, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 28:13Speaker 3: On You're had to hear a first on one O
- 28:17Speaker 3: seven five the River, a situation where Zach and I
- 28:20Speaker 3: actually agree with each.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Other for once, okay, sit down.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Even furthermore, all three of us agree with.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Each other all The daily double tap today is about
- 28:30Speaker 3: how complicated and ridiculous the English language can be when
- 28:33Speaker 3: actually trying to break it down and explain it.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, here it is so.
- 28:36Speaker 9: The past tense of sneeze would be sneezed, which means
- 28:40Speaker 9: the past tense of freeze would be freezed. No, what
- 28:44Speaker 9: would you think it would be froze? You'll see it's
- 28:48Speaker 9: because that's why. And if the past tense of make
