- 0:00Speaker 1: Miami playing Indiana. The National Championship Game goes tonight. We
- 0:05Speaker 1: are gonna take that game apart. Plus, we're gonna have
- 0:09Speaker 1: business right at the top of the should jumping right
- 0:15Speaker 1: in there. Look at that, everybody, look at that. Joe's
- 0:19Speaker 1: already screwing up. Anyway, We're gonna take apart in the
- 0:23Speaker 1: National Championship Game. We're gonna look at every single NBA
- 0:26Speaker 1: game on the board, every single NHL game on the board.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We're gonna take a part some college basketball. We're gonna
- 0:32Speaker 1: look ahead to the division to the Championship a weekend
- 0:38Speaker 1: coming up in the NFL. Sean McDermott fired, Brian Power
- 0:42Speaker 1: joining us. I'm Lawrence Presman. This is the best betting
- 0:45Speaker 1: show ever.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Pry.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I sometimes I learn a little slower than I should,
- 0:56Speaker 3: but I will say I have learned to not shot
- 1:00Speaker 3: out Joe. I don't think we're supposed to be on
- 1:02Speaker 3: that shot.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Supposedly Monday, Supposedly last Monday, you guys did a great
- 1:11Speaker 1: show that nobody will ever see.
- 1:14Speaker 2: No the Lost tapes. Wow, I was this close to
- 1:19Speaker 2: doing a audio dub over, which would have been quite
- 1:23Speaker 2: quite hilarious with oh no, mister Bell. It would have
- 1:27Speaker 2: been it would have been awful on so many levels.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So I opted not to do that. I just I
- 1:32Speaker 2: just opted to do the show twice so we can
- 1:34Speaker 2: see Steve Merrill. That's basically it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: At Steve and Steve. Brian did text us today privately
- 1:40Speaker 1: and said, hey, can I come on the show today
- 1:42Speaker 1: instead of Brian.
- 1:44Speaker 2: No, he did not say no. Absolutely, did not happen anyway,
- 1:51Speaker 2: did not happen.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Oh hey, Josh Allen just fumbled. Sorry, just happened right now?
- 1:56Speaker 2: There you go, right now?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Oh did it again?
- 1:59Speaker 2: No?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh yeah, so shall we recap? Should we? He just
- 2:05Speaker 1: drew an interception as we spit. Yeah, excellent on the
- 2:08Speaker 1: wrong side of the field for all people betting the
- 2:10Speaker 1: under Oh wait, that would be me. Anyway. Let's get
- 2:14Speaker 1: into the championship game first, and then we'll reminisce on
- 2:18Speaker 1: the good vibes that happened in the ALLA this past weekend.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Miami playing Indiana tonight, and you know what, kudos to
- 2:27Speaker 1: both of these teams. Unbelievable that they that Miami is there.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And obviously we've gone Indiana a huge fricking favorite. A
- 2:38Speaker 1: total in this game of forty seven and a half
- 2:41Speaker 1: forty eight, but we have had money coming in on Miami. Guys,
- 2:45Speaker 1: we're down to seven and a half at most places. Brian,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I'll go to you first. Firstly, why is this game
- 2:55Speaker 1: starting so late? People need to sleep? And then on
- 2:59Speaker 1: top of that, how do you bet it? I know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but it's college I know, but it's college football. You
- 3:07Speaker 1: know it's gonna be five hours. You know we're gonna
- 3:09Speaker 1: have like a two hour intermission. There's gonna be seven
- 3:13Speaker 1: million things going on, and we're gonna be watching the
- 3:16Speaker 1: fourth quarter at one fifteen in the morning.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Anyway, I don't.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Think it's good. Well, barring overtime, I don't think it's
- 3:22Speaker 3: gonna go that late.
- 3:23Speaker 4: But I don't know.
- 3:24Speaker 3: There's an argument that the game could have taken place
- 3:26Speaker 3: on Friday, but whatever, let's talk about betting the game.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Like you said, Pres, I'm not surprised about every money today.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I talked about it with Ross and Ralph on the
- 3:36Speaker 3: Blitz last Thursday. We all agreed that Miami money was
- 3:38Speaker 3: gonna show on game day. I'll be honest with you,
- 3:42Speaker 3: and I'm interested to hear your guys's rebuttals. I actually
- 3:46Speaker 3: don't know if the spread's high enough. I get that
- 3:48Speaker 3: it is a it was a big reaction relative to
- 3:52Speaker 3: the look aheadline for this game, But I also thought
- 3:54Speaker 3: the look aheadline to this game, Joe and Prez is
- 3:58Speaker 3: ridiculously short. At five hours there's Indiana was five and
- 4:02Speaker 3: a half in this game. I would have bet very
- 4:03Speaker 3: large on Indiana as it is. I bet Indiana before
- 4:07Speaker 3: they beat Oregon at plus one thirty five to win
- 4:09Speaker 3: the national championship. So in terms of the side tonight,
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm very comfortable where I'm at having that position. I
- 4:15Speaker 3: just need Indiana to win, and I think Indiana is
- 4:19Speaker 3: gonna win. Quite Frankly, I don't want to bet against six.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I know that this is interesting. If Indiana, who was
- 4:25Speaker 3: a one hundred to one preseason one hundred and one
- 4:29Speaker 3: preseason odds to win the championship, if they do in
- 4:32Speaker 3: fact win the championship tonight, Joe, it would be the
- 4:34Speaker 3: longest preseason of odds of any champion in a major
- 4:38Speaker 3: sport proer college since the nineteen ninety nine Saint Louis
- 4:42Speaker 3: Rams were one hundred and fifty to one.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Here they went.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So I'm going to jump in right now and tell
- 4:48Speaker 1: you to stop being North American centric, Okay, like there
- 4:51Speaker 1: is a world out there, a big NHL. Yeah, Leicester City.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So that ends that, Brian, good one, good try though, Brian,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you know there's a world out there. Thousand to one
- 5:10Speaker 1: bro Yes, okay, so yeah, let's not let's not be
- 5:16Speaker 1: xenophobic Americans for the day. If that's okay. Anyway, I
- 5:20Speaker 1: suppose what you like that word? Yes, No, I'm America today.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, as a Canadian, I'm American. Okay. So anyway,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but Brian, I do I do agree. Listen, the line
- 5:35Speaker 1: does feel short too, and you look at Indiana. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: mean it's not like they don't cover seven and a half.
- 5:41Speaker 1: They covered seven and a half eight out of their
- 5:43Speaker 1: last ten games, so they are they are a team
- 5:47Speaker 1: that creates distance. So I don't disagree with you. Joe.
- 5:51Speaker 1: What's your initial take on this game? Okay, so there
- 5:58Speaker 1: we go. Said they you.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'm just guessing they shouldn't show up tonight then, right,
- 6:05Speaker 2: I mean the games are over. I get there. Should
- 6:07Speaker 2: don't don't even bother showing up, Miami. It's a great season. No,
- 6:11Speaker 2: it's gonna break season. Don't show up. There's not a
- 6:14Speaker 2: chance in hell that they can actually win this game,
- 6:17Speaker 2: much less stay within a touchdown because, uh, you'd have
- 6:21Speaker 2: to go back how many years to find out the
- 6:24Speaker 2: last time Miami was actually blown out of a game here.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So yeah, no, but yeah, let's let's go with that. Indiana,
- 6:33Speaker 2: just give him the trophy. It's over.
- 6:35Speaker 4: He didn't say that, Joe.
- 6:38Speaker 1: The two of you guys should get you guys should
- 6:41Speaker 1: get a room or something.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You're just saying it's you know, the market apparently thinks
- 6:46Speaker 2: they shouldn't show up here tonight. It's over. Oh well,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it's a good thing they got to play the game,
- 6:51Speaker 2: because you know, the best team doesn't always win. Guys,
- 6:54Speaker 2: you know we noticed that. You can.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I ask you a question though, Joe, because I think
- 7:00Speaker 3: I'll ask you two questions actually. Number one, do you
- 7:02Speaker 3: think the look do you think do you think the
- 7:05Speaker 3: look ahead line? Do you think the look aheadline was short?
- 7:08Speaker 3: Like that's been like that's been one of the two
- 7:10Speaker 3: big talking points, like, oh the look before Indiana destroyed Orgon,
- 7:15Speaker 3: it was sitting at five and a half and then
- 7:17Speaker 3: it was an eight and a half, People like, oh
- 7:18Speaker 3: my god, that's an overreaction.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Do you think that five and a half.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Was too short. Yes, Okay.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Also, and this is I'll open this up to everybody
- 7:29Speaker 3: and please comment down below with your thoughts as well.
- 7:31Speaker 3: What are we assigning Miami for home field advantage in
- 7:34Speaker 3: this game? I cause that's been like a very interesting
- 7:36Speaker 3: debate that I've seen over these last you know, eight
- 7:40Speaker 3: nine days, because you can't assign them full home field
- 7:42Speaker 3: and that this is not a true home game, or
- 7:45Speaker 3: do you.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I don't.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I don't think there's I don't think any to be
- 7:50Speaker 1: honest with you, I think this line is what it
- 7:53Speaker 1: would be on a neutral field.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Joe. Now there is a there is an edge he
- 8:00Speaker 2: They're going to be in their same locker room. Even
- 8:02Speaker 2: though they're the away team, they're still assigned to the
- 8:05Speaker 2: same locker room. So this is going to be very
- 8:08Speaker 2: familiar territory here for Miami. There's gonna be a ton
- 8:12Speaker 2: of Canes fans, and there'll be some Indiana fans there
- 8:14Speaker 2: as well, with the majority the people in that building
- 8:17Speaker 2: and more importantly on that sideline will be very familiar
- 8:22Speaker 2: with the University of Miami. So yeah, I think there
- 8:27Speaker 2: is is it three points? No? Is it a point?
- 8:30Speaker 2: Probably somewhere in that ballpark there, But.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You know, I don't think it gets I don't think
- 8:38Speaker 1: if they're which is why it's basically the same, because
- 8:45Speaker 1: it's seven and a half now, and I think on
- 8:46Speaker 1: a neutral the Hills you might get set up. Josh
- 8:49Speaker 1: Allen just fubbled. Sorry, that's all. Yeah, that's about half
- 8:56Speaker 1: the point. I don't the point takes you to six
- 8:58Speaker 1: and a half, and I I would be betting Indiana
- 9:02Speaker 1: at minus six and a half on a neutral field.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'll tell you that. Total wise, guys, I mean, this
- 9:08Speaker 1: is an interesting total because from an offensive perspective, it's low.
- 9:13Speaker 1: In other words, Miami just put up thirty one twenty four.
- 9:17Speaker 1: They put up thirty eight, thirty forty one, thirty eight
- 9:20Speaker 1: forty two. This team can score Indiana fifty six points
- 9:24Speaker 1: last game thirty eight fifty six. They have gone over
- 9:28Speaker 1: fifty five points four of their last eight games. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: then conversely, on defense, you got Indiana holding Alabama to three,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Ohio State to ten, per Due to three, Wisconsin is seven,
- 9:45Speaker 1: Maryland to ten, Ucla to six, MSU to thirteen. Brian,
- 9:50Speaker 1: where are you going total wise in this game? Because
- 9:53Speaker 1: it is it really is an interesting number.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Well, I'm sure Joe and his mascot would can her
- 10:00Speaker 3: here that a big key to the game for Miami
- 10:03Speaker 3: is what they've been doing all year, and that is
- 10:05Speaker 3: the fact they are number one in the country in
- 10:08Speaker 3: first half points per game allowed, giving up just four
- 10:10Speaker 3: point seven. I think, Joe you would agree that that's incredible.
- 10:15Speaker 3: It does not behove Miami to fall behind in this game.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I don't see them necessarily coming from behind to win.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Indiana is not far behind Miami in the first half
- 10:24Speaker 3: points per game allowed department.
- 10:25Speaker 4: They give up just six point two.
- 10:27Speaker 3: These are two of the top five teams in the
- 10:31Speaker 3: country points per game allowed, and Miami's offense has had
- 10:37Speaker 3: trouble getting out of the gate, at least into the
- 10:40Speaker 3: first two of the three playoff wins. They did not
- 10:43Speaker 3: score an offensive touchdown against A and M obviously until
- 10:46Speaker 3: the fourth quarter, and they had just one offensive touchdown
- 10:50Speaker 3: before the final minute against Ohio State. I don't know
- 10:53Speaker 3: if that was filmed immediately after that, but the Old Miss,
- 10:57Speaker 3: the Ole Miss defense obviously not on the same level
- 11:01Speaker 3: as A and M Ohio State. Indiana and I will
- 11:04Speaker 3: point out, I'm sure Joe will want to make this
- 11:05Speaker 3: point as well, that the Miami defense is probably at
- 11:10Speaker 3: least on par in the same neighborhood, if you will.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, they got great numbers too, Brian.
- 11:16Speaker 3: At least on par with the Ohio in Ohio State
- 11:19Speaker 3: defense that held Indiana to a season low thirteen in
- 11:22Speaker 3: the Big Ten.
- 11:23Speaker 1: That's a great point. That's a great point. And you
- 11:25Speaker 1: look down here, Joe, and they held Ohio State to
- 11:28Speaker 1: fourteen A and m to three, pit to seven. It's
- 11:32Speaker 1: a really interesting total. Any quick thoughts.
- 11:36Speaker 2: There, Well, that total didn't rise. It appears that the
- 11:41Speaker 2: total what forty eight, forty eight and a half is
- 11:44Speaker 2: an open and what have we done at forty seven
- 11:45Speaker 2: forty seven and a half?
- 11:48Speaker 1: There are still forty eight and a half's out there though,
- 11:51Speaker 1: So it is, and there's a forty seven out there,
- 11:54Speaker 1: so bit all over the map in that regard.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I think arguments can be made on both sides.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I can make the argument that a congratulations, you blew
- 12:06Speaker 2: it out an Alabama team that shouldn't even been in
- 12:08Speaker 2: the college football playoff number one. Number two, you beat
- 12:13Speaker 2: the most overhyped team in all of college football in Oregon,
- 12:19Speaker 2: and congratulations there because that you had already beaten them
- 12:22Speaker 2: once and you were gonna beat them again twice because
- 12:25Speaker 2: Dan Lanning can't figure out how to win a game
- 12:28Speaker 2: against any elite competition. So that leaves me with the
- 12:32Speaker 2: only thing to compare these two teams would be a
- 12:35Speaker 2: common opponent. And what common opponent would that be? Oh
- 12:38Speaker 2: Ohio State. That's right, an opponent in which Miami made
- 12:42Speaker 2: them look silly and in which Indiana struggled mightily there.
- 12:48Speaker 2: They also struggled against Iowa. They also struggled against Penn State.
- 12:52Speaker 2: What are those two teams have in common? They don't
- 12:54Speaker 2: have half the defense Miami has. So if they are
- 12:58Speaker 2: going to blow Miami out, well they're gonna have to
- 13:02Speaker 2: do it right from the get go. Praz So I
- 13:05Speaker 2: for me, I don't understand if I'm betting Indiana. I'm
- 13:07Speaker 2: betting it over right, unless you think all the Indiana's
- 13:11Speaker 2: defense is somehow it's it's so good and so elite
- 13:15Speaker 2: that Miami's offense an offensive line with an average weight
- 13:19Speaker 2: of what three hundred and twenty pounds versus the average
- 13:22Speaker 2: two hundred and sixty pound defensive linemen of Indiana, and
- 13:26Speaker 2: they're somehow not going to move Indiana around left and
- 13:30Speaker 2: right to be able to run the ball. Yeah, I
- 13:32Speaker 2: got to see it to believe it.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Two best teams in the country in the trenches are
- 13:37Speaker 3: these two teams? In my opinion, I don't think one
- 13:41Speaker 3: or a sixty pound weight advantage. Yeah. The big team
- 13:45Speaker 3: for Miami Joe. Their pass rush I thought, actually was
- 13:49Speaker 3: not as good as expected against Ole Miss Shambliss had
- 13:53Speaker 3: time to throw in that more time, at least more
- 13:55Speaker 3: time to throw than I expected in that semi finals.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Let's remember the Miami safety is suspended for the first
- 14:02Speaker 3: half of this game due to that kind of silly
- 14:05Speaker 3: targeting rule that I don't think any of us really like.
- 14:08Speaker 3: They probably need to change that, but look, it's the
- 14:10Speaker 3: rule and he's out the first half.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I mean, like the targeting that happened when
- 14:18Speaker 1: the running back jumped over the guy in the Chicago
- 14:21Speaker 1: game and got kind of like in the head yep,
- 14:24Speaker 1: but there was no flag on the play. That kind
- 14:27Speaker 1: of targeting correct, Yeah, something like that. Okay, Well, that
- 14:33Speaker 1: leads us right into what did we learn and this weekend?
- 14:36Speaker 1: And I'm going to start guys, here's a couple of
- 14:38Speaker 1: things we learned. We learned that CJ. Stroud should not
- 14:44Speaker 1: be signed to a long term contract under any circumstances
- 14:48Speaker 1: is he's not going to be a great quarterback in
- 14:52Speaker 1: this league. Okay, so there's hot take number one. Hot
- 14:56Speaker 1: take number one, Hot take number two. We learned that
- 15:02Speaker 1: the yurr of the turnovers against the press continues.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Correct.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I had five percent play on the bills. Josh Allen
- 15:12Speaker 1: turned the ball over seven hundred times. I had the
- 15:16Speaker 1: under in the Houston, New England game, Basically almost every
- 15:21Speaker 1: score was off of a turnover on an incredibly short field.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Uh so the turnover you're from hal continues for the press.
- 15:31Speaker 1: We also saw three quarterbacks have brain cramps. Uh yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: what did we learned? Do you not know how to smell?
- 15:40Speaker 1: What the hell is that?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Joe? You kept saying what we learned? So what we
- 15:46Speaker 2: learned is watched ahead.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just on my accent. Now we weren't.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Did you not hear what we learned? Because I'm waiting.
- 15:59Speaker 1: For what we learned?
- 16:00Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:00Speaker 2: I do.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I say Lord, You're right, I say Lord, and I'm
- 16:05Speaker 1: okay with it. I'm okay with it, guys. We also
- 16:10Speaker 1: bo Nick's hurt his ankle on a kneel down. M
- 16:17Speaker 1: That is uh That is impressive. That is impressive. I
- 16:21Speaker 1: feel so bad for him. Caleb Williams is for real.
- 16:27Speaker 1: H Ben Jonson has problems changing gears And I do
- 16:33Speaker 1: want to talk about the going or it on fourth
- 16:36Speaker 1: down a little. H Brian will leave that topic for now.
- 16:41Speaker 1: We'll come back to it. Uh yeah, Brian, That's pretty
- 16:45Speaker 1: much what I learned, dude. I was on Buffalo, I
- 16:48Speaker 1: was on the under in, I was on the I
- 16:52Speaker 1: was on San Francisco. Wow, that was the That was
- 16:56Speaker 1: a bad bet by me. They did not show up
- 17:00Speaker 1: at all. And how good is Seattle? Are they the
- 17:04Speaker 1: front runners right now?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Briy?
- 17:06Speaker 1: You go first?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Well, I mean that was the one game where there
- 17:09Speaker 3: was clearly an inarguable deserved winner. I mean, you know, look,
- 17:12Speaker 3: you return the opening kick for a touchdown that completely
- 17:16Speaker 3: changes the game script.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Who knows, but I mean not forty one.
- 17:18Speaker 3: It's not enough to you know, say, well it would
- 17:20Speaker 3: have been different forty one to six. It's forty one
- 17:22Speaker 3: to six. You hit the nail on the head. Though,
- 17:25Speaker 3: as as far as the other three games go, you
- 17:27Speaker 3: didn't even need to watch the games to understand why
- 17:30Speaker 3: who won one.
- 17:31Speaker 4: It's a turnover Battle's just that simple.
- 17:32Speaker 3: You can't if you're Buffalo and Houston, you can't go
- 17:35Speaker 3: on the road and turn the ball over five times
- 17:36Speaker 3: in the plass You're not gonna win. I mean, you
- 17:37Speaker 3: saw the They showed the stat during the telecast of
- 17:40Speaker 3: Buffalo and Denver that.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Road teams who lose.
- 17:44Speaker 3: The turnover battle by three or more are one are
- 17:49Speaker 3: now one in eighty six all time. So when Buffalo
- 17:52Speaker 3: was in a position to win that game, I was
- 17:53Speaker 3: a sty is, like, I can't believe they might pull
- 17:55Speaker 3: this off. Obviously, yeah, yeah, And it cost McDermott's job.
- 17:58Speaker 3: And you know, yesterday I had a terrible day myself.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yesterday Press five percent loser on the Rams team total
- 18:03Speaker 3: over twenty six and a half, even with overtime. I
- 18:07Speaker 3: don't get there. It was Sean McVay picked one hell
- 18:11Speaker 3: of a time to call his worst game of the year.
- 18:13Speaker 4: I thought, oh, well, I understand what he was doing.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I don't understand what he was doing at all. You're Stafford.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Something was wrong with Stafford yesterday. I don't know what
- 18:23Speaker 3: it was his hand, I presume, but he was missing
- 18:25Speaker 3: throws he was completing all season, and you're throwing twice
- 18:29Speaker 3: as much as you're running. Despite the fact you look
- 18:31Speaker 3: at the Chicago Bears defense over the course of the year,
- 18:34Speaker 3: they can be run on.
- 18:35Speaker 4: In my analysis for the game.
- 18:37Speaker 3: You can check it out at my page wt dot
- 18:39Speaker 3: bus slash VP, I said, expect a healthy dose of Korum,
- 18:43Speaker 3: expect a healthy dose of Williams. Let's just run it
- 18:45Speaker 3: right down their throats. And all I can say is
- 18:49Speaker 3: is that Sean McVay must have gotten his own head
- 18:52Speaker 3: and decided, well, everyone's expecting I'm going to do this,
- 18:55Speaker 3: so I will not do it because I don't understand
- 18:57Speaker 3: the offense.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I want to jump in here. I want to jump
- 19:01Speaker 1: in here. Sorry, Joe, I know you're up next, but
- 19:03Speaker 1: I I want to make mention of what you're saying, Brian,
- 19:05Speaker 1: because where it really got horrible to me wasn't even
- 19:10Speaker 1: so much what you're saying. I agree with you from
- 19:14Speaker 1: the whole game perspective. The play calling was off, and
- 19:17Speaker 1: it wasn't balanced, and they did not take advantage of
- 19:22Speaker 1: Chicago's defense. And on top of that, Chicago came out
- 19:25Speaker 1: edge rushing. There were wheel routes all day or the
- 19:31Speaker 1: rams they didn't throw one. There were screenplays available all day.
- 19:35Speaker 1: They didn't take advantage of that. But most importantly, Brian,
- 19:39Speaker 1: at the end of the game, they ran the ball
- 19:42Speaker 1: three times in a row, including third and six. Matt
- 19:47Speaker 1: Stafford is the best player on that football field. How
- 19:51Speaker 1: do you not let him get the first down and
- 19:52Speaker 1: ice the game? Instead you run an inside draw? I mean,
- 19:56Speaker 1: it was just what the howl was Sean mcvagh thinking
- 20:01Speaker 1: that was.
- 20:01Speaker 4: The one time I would not have run the ball
- 20:03Speaker 4: that was not to lose. And I know Joe concursive.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Joe Matt Stafford's finger right here. Uh oh, that's uh,
- 20:14Speaker 2: that's exactly what I think of Sean McVeigh. Asking him
- 20:17Speaker 2: to throw more than forty times in a game is
- 20:19Speaker 2: beyond me. Uh.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But even worse than that in that weather.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Even worse than that was the simple fact that Caleb
- 20:29Speaker 2: Williams is for real press the guy is a joke.
- 20:33Speaker 2: How long do you think you're going to be able
- 20:35Speaker 2: to continue that kind of crap and think you're gonna
- 20:39Speaker 2: get away with it in the NFL? But let me explain,
- 20:43Speaker 2: might be the single worst weekend of coach and quality
- 20:48Speaker 2: of football. Fundamentally, I can't believe these are supposedly the
- 20:53Speaker 2: best teams in the NFL, I've seen I have seen
- 20:56Speaker 2: Division two college games with more discipline, with better ability
- 21:02Speaker 2: to hold onto Every game this weekend involved teams turning
- 21:06Speaker 2: the ball five can't hold onto the ball. The coaching,
- 21:09Speaker 2: the play calling all specialty.
- 21:11Speaker 5: How do you allow Seattle to start the game off
- 21:15Speaker 5: by running it bad ninety five yards for a touchdown
- 21:18Speaker 5: and then your first possession you fumble it back to Seattle,
- 21:22Speaker 5: so you gave an extra three?
- 21:23Speaker 2: What are we doing?
- 21:25Speaker 1: Same with Joe, It's exactly the same with the Bills.
- 21:28Speaker 1: James coach does not buffle the ball there they have
- 21:31Speaker 1: a chance to go up fourteen to three. The whole game.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Change and McDermott, what are you having? What are you
- 21:38Speaker 2: asking Josh Allen to do with under thirty seconds before
- 21:42Speaker 2: that happened?
- 21:43Speaker 4: What do you do it?
- 21:43Speaker 1: It was just just stupid by Josh Allen. You didn't
- 21:46Speaker 1: need to run the ball, but it just took egging
- 21:48Speaker 1: a bloody knee.
- 21:50Speaker 2: But again, the worst fundamental football I've seen in years.
- 21:55Speaker 2: You're either not coaching these guys, they're not ready coming
- 22:00Speaker 2: out of college. Something is wrong here, because if these
- 22:03Speaker 2: are the best football teams we have in the NFL,
- 22:07Speaker 2: oh Listen, this is awful on so many different levels.
- 22:11Speaker 3: This has been an odd year in the NFL, for sure.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I think there's not that the teams that were the hallmarks,
- 22:16Speaker 3: the cheap Ravens didn't even make the playoffs. Obviously, it's
- 22:21Speaker 3: just a wide open year. I do think that the
- 22:23Speaker 3: Seahawks and the Rams happened.
- 22:24Speaker 2: And now we have seven coaching Where are you shipping
- 22:27Speaker 2: now all these coaches?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Nine do you think McVeigh? How ast do you think
- 22:34Speaker 1: McDermott gets a coaching game?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Oh if he doesn't get a home coaching game, Yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 2: in a half hour. There are guys that.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Will just got to be Baltimore. Gotta be Baltimore. He
- 22:45Speaker 1: is perfect for Baltimore.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I don't get it. Where are we shitting out all
- 22:50Speaker 2: of these great next wave of coaches, Because as far
- 22:53Speaker 2: as I see all of these supposed great assistants on
- 22:57Speaker 2: all these teams, they all sucked. Every one of them
- 23:00Speaker 2: sucked this bast in the playoffs. So I don't know
- 23:03Speaker 2: where you're pulling out all of these had new head coaches.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I'll tell you a thirty year old guy with more
- 23:12Speaker 2: experience than the three of us, barely more experience than
- 23:15Speaker 2: the three of us that we don't play the game,
- 23:17Speaker 2: and that's going to be their next head coach. PP
- 23:20Speaker 2: what I mean, come on, what are we doing?
- 23:23Speaker 3: People love in the comments section to point out that
- 23:24Speaker 3: I never played football, by the way, and I'm sure
- 23:26Speaker 3: they're gonna say it again here.
- 23:28Speaker 4: They love to point that out that I know that
- 23:29Speaker 4: I never do.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I did play freshman football. Joe didn't play. I didn't
- 23:38Speaker 3: play much.
- 23:39Speaker 4: I was on the team.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Though I played rugby for three years.
- 23:42Speaker 2: There you go close enough.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Full yeah, Canadian football.
- 23:46Speaker 2: But the way you should have just as good a
- 23:48Speaker 2: chance of being the Browns next head coach as this
- 23:51Speaker 2: guy that they're interviewing in a second time.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Thirty years old is insane. It would be the youngest
- 23:57Speaker 3: head coach in league history, and it's we already have
- 23:59Speaker 3: a record number of.
- 24:01Speaker 1: You know, Sala, Sala, better get a head coaching.
- 24:06Speaker 2: I agree.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Sometimes the thing is you could be a great coordinator,
- 24:10Speaker 3: not a great head coach. Now, he was a great
- 24:12Speaker 3: head coach in New York.
- 24:15Speaker 1: If you go back and go look at New York's
- 24:19Speaker 1: record with.
- 24:22Speaker 2: And they said no. So he wanted to keep Sam
- 24:25Speaker 2: Donald and they said no.
- 24:27Speaker 1: So if I'm the Bills. It's Robert Seller. That's who
- 24:31Speaker 1: I would take as my coach because of the weather,
- 24:34Speaker 1: the conditions. I think that guy got a bum wrap
- 24:38Speaker 1: in New York. But you know what, who cares?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I just don't know. I can't see the quality
- 24:44Speaker 2: of football getting better in any of these situations.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Who's he going to be head coached for that case?
- 24:53Speaker 2: But he's not enough case because that team should have
- 24:56Speaker 2: ended up with just three wins on a season, but
- 24:58Speaker 2: instead he somehow got that game. It's almost fricking we
- 25:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean, but he played for him, so
- 25:08Speaker 2: you gotta agree with that. I'll take that any day.
- 25:11Speaker 2: And he's also interviewing with Detroit today for the ROC job.
- 25:14Speaker 1: So yeah, well that to me, that to me makes
- 25:18Speaker 1: so much sense. That makes so much sense to me.
- 25:22Speaker 1: But I think I think Butlo is gonna go as
- 25:25Speaker 1: Stefansky went, all said and done.
- 25:27Speaker 2: That's my gut.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Atlanta, Atlanta, that's a good point. I forgot about that.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Another edition of what we learned. Yes, there you go.
- 25:40Speaker 1: We need a better graphic for that, Joe, we need
- 25:43Speaker 1: a better ride for that.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I think the spelling says it all.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Pres what okay can I say one thing because just
- 25:51Speaker 3: to go back. I know, I know we're past it,
- 25:53Speaker 3: but it just goes back to a previous because Joe
- 25:55Speaker 3: was talking about discipline. One final point I do want
- 25:59Speaker 3: to make going back to the Miami Oh yeah, just
- 26:03Speaker 3: it's real quick. Miami was a top ten penalized team
- 26:06Speaker 3: in the country. Indiana bottom five, so that is one edge.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I think.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Okay, there you go.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Bye.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I thought that was that was good. I thought that
- 26:16Speaker 4: was a good point.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Okay, okay, yeah, well it wasn't. Okay, boys, it's time
- 26:23Speaker 1: for our parlay of the day.
- 26:26Speaker 2: All right, I'm going with.
- 26:28Speaker 1: The Winnipeg Jets minus one thirty five in Chicago on
- 26:36Speaker 1: the money line. The Winnipeg Jets, Brian.
- 26:40Speaker 4: I'll go with the No.
- 26:41Speaker 3: One's not going with the boy j'all go with the
- 26:45Speaker 3: Brooklyn Nets plus eight and a half against Phoenix.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Look the Phoenix Suns.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I get that they cover the spread every game, but
- 26:52Speaker 3: this is I mean, they're an eight and a half
- 26:54Speaker 3: point road favorite.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Now, come on, they're.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Still at best the sixth best team in the Western Conference.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I think Brooklyn, brook Baby, give me the eight and
- 27:02Speaker 3: a half with them.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, all right, I'll throw a dog out here
- 27:08Speaker 2: as well. I am gonna go Albany getting four and
- 27:12Speaker 2: a half five actually over against Vermont. Vermont has absolutely
- 27:17Speaker 2: no business laying this kind of number against anybody. I
- 27:21Speaker 2: will back Albany plus the points here for my leg
- 27:25Speaker 2: on that parlay press.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Okay, so stupid question from a dumb Canadian. I don't
- 27:32Speaker 1: have a cluer. Lemoine is what's the dolphin population in Lemoine.
- 27:40Speaker 4: It's a religious thing.
- 27:41Speaker 3: So we went through this many many years ago on
- 27:44Speaker 3: the Adulph Oh.
- 27:45Speaker 6: The religion of dolphins. Yeah, a rayed a dolphin. Look,
- 27:52Speaker 6: I don't it's whatever you do is fine.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Let me show you some of the co eds press,
- 27:58Speaker 2: because because BP has actually shared this with us in
- 28:01Speaker 2: the past, these are Lemoyne co eds. Okay, there you go, Doc.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Now they're jotting down Joe Rani's phone number.
- 28:13Speaker 4: By the way, President that picture. That's what's going on there.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, I'll tell you they're fighting for Joe.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Uh yeah, So okay, so that that makes total sense.
- 28:23Speaker 1: The Lemoyne Dolphins excellence. Yes, while we're on team Namings,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I just want to say that they had a when
- 28:32Speaker 1: the Toronto Raptors were named. It was a city wide vote.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Oh was it always the Raptors? Yeah?
- 28:41Speaker 1: Always, So I want you to know. I want you
- 28:45Speaker 1: to know the name the Raptors were up against.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Oh, what was the second choice?
- 28:53Speaker 1: Toronto is known for having the the tallest building in
- 28:57Speaker 1: the world. It's not anymore. There's I think in one
- 29:01Speaker 1: of the Arab countries that are taller, or Malaysia. I
- 29:03Speaker 1: think it's Malaysia that's taller anyway.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Which was ironic.
- 29:07Speaker 1: But okay, the Toronto Towers was the second choice. Oh
- 29:15Speaker 1: does that make the most sense to you?
- 29:18Speaker 3: There you go, more learning moreland that I did not
- 29:24Speaker 3: know that I'll say. I'll say also the what we learned,
- 29:28Speaker 3: I was surprised that it took, uh, it took the
- 29:30Speaker 3: NBA two years to realize. No one in Vancouver heard
- 29:33Speaker 3: about the NBA. Remember the thing that was that was
- 29:36Speaker 3: short lived?
- 29:36Speaker 1: Grizzlies, Yes, because you know, Vancouver's got a whole huge
- 29:40Speaker 1: population of grizzlies.
- 29:41Speaker 2: And that didn't make any sense either.
- 29:44Speaker 1: But but what a missed opportunity with the towers. I mean,
- 29:48Speaker 1: it's basketball tall. People. We are known for the Cen Tower,
- 29:53Speaker 1: Like morons should have just called that. They should have
- 30:00Speaker 1: it's called the Toronto team Davy. Again, we found out
- 30:07Speaker 1: that Brian Power does not know the Davy reference.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Time.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Okay, guys, early look for the division. I'm gonna tell
- 30:19Speaker 1: you right off the bat, I have not handicapped either
- 30:22Speaker 1: of these games yet. I'm just gonna give an initial impression.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I goddamn love the Denver Broncos here. I love him
- 30:30Speaker 1: so much. But I might not my tomorrow, but right
- 30:34Speaker 1: at this particular moment, I'm loving on the Broncos. As
- 30:40Speaker 1: for the Seattle Rams game, I'm looking at the over
- 30:43Speaker 1: right now, and if I can get three, I might
- 30:45Speaker 1: take the Rams. But yeah, the play that stands out
- 30:48Speaker 1: to me at this moment is is Denver Brian.
- 30:54Speaker 3: I mean, I think the obvious reaction on the AFC
- 30:57Speaker 3: Championship game with Denver is to say it's an overreact
- 31:00Speaker 3: to the bon Knicks injury.
- 31:01Speaker 4: I mean Jared Stidham.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Though I know teams have gotten it done with backup
- 31:07Speaker 3: quarterbacks before I saw Nick Foles had a pretty funny
- 31:09Speaker 3: tweet yesterday, But I mean Nick Foles is a guy
- 31:11Speaker 3: who at least expan Jared Stidham.
- 31:14Speaker 4: I don't know, do I want to put.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Is he well same, Jeff Hostedler. I mean it's not
- 31:23Speaker 1: but it's not about that. From my perspective, it's about
- 31:26Speaker 1: the pass rush. If you want me, what Houston was
- 31:28Speaker 1: able to do. Pass rush wise, they were all over
- 31:34Speaker 1: Drake May and Denver has got banana faux fama and
- 31:39Speaker 1: he is going to eat Joe. What's your initial thoughts.
- 31:45Speaker 2: In the New England game or the are we doing well?
- 31:48Speaker 1: Come back to you for the NFC.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Oh, okay, all right to me? I think it's all uh.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I think the public is just going to continue to
- 31:56Speaker 2: run to bet New England and all the value is
- 31:58Speaker 2: going to be on Denver and that's going to be
- 32:00Speaker 2: the I would also look at the over My initial
- 32:04Speaker 2: look is at the over here, and I think points
- 32:07Speaker 2: are likely coming.
- 32:09Speaker 3: We talked about we talked about turnovers obviously a lot
- 32:13Speaker 3: in discussing this past weekends games. Let's not overlook the
- 32:16Speaker 3: fact that New England was pretty lucky not to turn
- 32:19Speaker 3: the ball over more Drake May put the ball on
- 32:21Speaker 3: the ground place. Yeah, I was able to two of
- 32:23Speaker 3: his own fumbles. You know if he if Houston recovers those,
- 32:26Speaker 3: we could be talking about a much different final score there.
- 32:28Speaker 4: I think people need to make note.
- 32:32Speaker 1: NFC wise, Brian, what are your initial thoughts?
- 32:36Speaker 3: Rams really dominated that first meeting? Our pardon me, Seattle
- 32:40Speaker 3: actually dominated dominated the first meeting, and and but we
- 32:43Speaker 3: had so many turnovers. The second game was so interesting
- 32:46Speaker 3: with Seattle coming from behind.
- 32:48Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 32:49Speaker 3: I think these are the two best teams in the
- 32:50Speaker 3: NFL right now. I think deserve Conference finalists teams. I'm
- 32:55Speaker 3: kind of right on market with that one, obviously. You know, Joe,
- 32:59Speaker 3: his point as well taken about that the value will
- 33:01Speaker 3: be on the Denver side in the AFC, but here,
- 33:05Speaker 3: I'm pretty much right on market with this number. So
- 33:07Speaker 3: I may be looking to do something other than play
- 33:09Speaker 3: aside in the rubber match between the Seahawks and the Rams.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Joe, NFC thoughts, what version of Sam Darnold do we
- 33:19Speaker 1: get you?
- 33:23Speaker 2: I just don't know. I mean, listen, there was right
- 33:26Speaker 2: up until kickoff there was a ton of questions for
- 33:30Speaker 2: a guy that had not thrown the ball since he
- 33:32Speaker 2: pulled his oblique on whether or not he was even
- 33:34Speaker 2: going to be able to throw the ball. But as
- 33:37Speaker 2: luck would have it, he didn't need to throw it
- 33:39Speaker 2: off a lot in that game. But they lost Shamaneh
- 33:42Speaker 2: looks like now he's uh, there's a lot of questions.
- 33:45Speaker 2: They're down, you know, their top running back. They have
- 33:48Speaker 2: not thrown the ball well at all in the second
- 33:52Speaker 2: half of the year. Here it looks like they took
- 33:55Speaker 2: away Jackson Smith and Jig, but he does not look
- 33:58Speaker 2: even remotely close to the same receiver he did in
- 34:01Speaker 2: the first eight to ten games of the season. So
- 34:04Speaker 2: you know, at some point that defense is great, don't
- 34:07Speaker 2: get me wrong, but at some point they're gonna have
- 34:11Speaker 2: to throw the ball down the field. Running is not
- 34:14Speaker 2: is not going to work. And against the Rams, they
- 34:18Speaker 2: might force Sam Donald to have to be a lot
- 34:21Speaker 2: more productive pushing the ball down the field. And from
- 34:23Speaker 2: a health perspective, you might have Drew Locke versus Jared
- 34:27Speaker 2: Stidham in a Super Bowl. Is what I'm telling you.
- 34:31Speaker 1: You're watching the best betting show ever. Everybody hit that
- 34:34Speaker 1: like button subscribe to car Channel. We do this every
- 34:37Speaker 1: single day, Monday to Friday. Brian Power is always here
- 34:41Speaker 1: on Mondays. Art to Caesar will be with us the
- 34:44Speaker 1: rest of the week, and we are working. Our people
- 34:49Speaker 1: are speaking to Steve Merrill's people. Yes, we see you.
- 34:53Speaker 1: What you're doing Brian. Our people are speaking to Steve
- 34:56Speaker 1: Merrill's people. We're trying to negotiate a deal to have
- 35:00Speaker 1: him come on on a regular basis, something about him
- 35:04Speaker 1: being unavailable until one pm Eastern. So I ask you,
- 35:08Speaker 1: our listeners, how important is Steve Merrill to you? Do
- 35:13Speaker 1: we put this show up later and have Steve Merrill
- 35:16Speaker 1: join us or do we not? You tell us what
- 35:20Speaker 1: you want. Of course, Brian is always welcome, but he
- 35:23Speaker 1: has this show with Marksino, So tell us about your
- 35:26Speaker 1: show with Mark Sino and promote.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Well, what my question is, what is Steve doing in
- 35:32Speaker 4: the morning that he can't do the show?
- 35:34Speaker 1: So I asked him that question ten times, Bro. The
- 35:39Speaker 1: response was very cryptic. That's all I got.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I was.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I would just say I'm working, then.
- 35:51Speaker 1: His school, and then he's got a meeting, and then
- 35:55Speaker 1: another meeting, and then a third meeting, and that's all
- 35:58Speaker 1: we got.
- 36:00Speaker 4: And I know Steve is important. I didn't know he
- 36:01Speaker 4: was a world leader.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Obviously, National Championship Game tonight, guys. I have a great
- 36:07Speaker 3: record in these National Championship Games last couple years.
- 36:09Speaker 4: You could check it out on my page.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Last year we had a BUKA over his receiving yards total.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Two years ago we had Michigan laid the points against Washington.
- 36:17Speaker 3: They won by three touchdowns. Three years ago we had
- 36:19Speaker 3: Brock Bowers over his receiving yardage total. That'll be it,
- 36:24Speaker 3: pres That's.
- 36:25Speaker 4: All you know.
- 36:25Speaker 3: I've only been I've only played three championship games. I
- 36:28Speaker 3: was joined since since. You guys have been so kind
- 36:32Speaker 3: to have me here at a way to talk. I
- 36:33Speaker 3: do have a best bet on tonight's game. It is
- 36:35Speaker 3: not a player prop. Check it out WT dot bus SLASHVP.
- 36:38Speaker 3: We bounced back for me pretty wretched Sunday, quite frankly,
- 36:41Speaker 3: so I'm eager to cash tonight.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Brian Power everybody. Thanks for doing this, brother, I really
- 36:48Speaker 1: appreciate it. You guys can check him out every day
- 36:50Speaker 1: with Mark. You know, a really, really great show. Thanks Brian,
- 36:54Speaker 1: lots of love. Okay, we got a bunch more to go.
- 36:58Speaker 1: We got the three rundowns, NBA, NHL College Basketball. We
- 37:03Speaker 1: will be doing the mailback section tomorrow as we start
- 37:06Speaker 1: every week Tuesdays we begin, so please make sure to comment.
- 37:11Speaker 1: And before we get into any of that, it's time
- 37:13Speaker 1: for while some business, Joe, It's time for some business.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Let's get to it, and I got the college football
- 37:21Speaker 1: bet for you guys, period. End of story. I am
- 37:25Speaker 1: seven and two in the bulls this year. Nobody has
- 37:29Speaker 1: a higher win percentage than me in the college football
- 37:32Speaker 1: bowls this season. But that's only this year. I have
- 37:36Speaker 1: the highest win percentage in college football bowls in the
- 37:40Speaker 1: last five years. I am seven in two this bowl season,
- 37:46Speaker 1: and I am thirty eight and twenty two in five
- 37:51Speaker 1: years of bowl betting. I don't know like you got
- 37:56Speaker 1: a short term record, you got a love term record.
- 37:59Speaker 1: And my play tonight is a four percent play. I've
- 38:02Speaker 1: won five in a row and I'm on an eight
- 38:05Speaker 1: and two run in four percent plays. I don't understand.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Tell me who's doing better than that. Explain to me
- 38:13Speaker 1: why you would rather bet somebody else's college football when
- 38:17Speaker 1: I am the number one win percentage college football expert
- 38:21Speaker 1: this season and over the.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Last five years.
- 38:25Speaker 1: There you go, and I have an NHL play tonight,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and I'll tell you something. My NHL is on freaking
- 38:31Speaker 1: fire right now. That is correct. I've won three in
- 38:34Speaker 1: a row. I'm on an eight and two NHL run.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I am destroying the sport over the last few weeks
- 38:41Speaker 1: and over my lifetime. You all know me as one
- 38:44Speaker 1: of the best NHL betters alive. I gotta play with
- 38:47Speaker 1: you up in NHL. It's a total I goddamn freaking
- 38:50Speaker 1: love it. And I have an NBAN college basketball play.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Those are bonus plays to you guys if you buy
- 38:57Speaker 1: my all access pass Joe, And are you know my
- 39:02Speaker 1: college football play tonight? I know my college football play tonight,
- 39:07Speaker 1: Our listeners better know my college football play tonight.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Okay, York turn thanks total sense. Pres. Yeah, college football game,
- 39:15Speaker 2: National Championship. You can listen. You guys know I want
- 39:18Speaker 2: Miami to win and to cover, but that is not
- 39:22Speaker 2: my play in the game here tonight. It is actually
- 39:26Speaker 2: a little bit different here tonight. Why because it's probably
- 39:29Speaker 2: the biggest value play on the board in that game.
- 39:32Speaker 2: So you can actually go get that over at wager
- 39:35Speaker 2: talk dot com to college basketball games with huge line
- 39:39Speaker 2: value and one NBA game coming up a little bit
- 39:43Speaker 2: later as well, All available pres wager talk dot com.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Guys, hit that like button, subscribe to our channel. Make
- 39:51Speaker 1: sure to comment. Let's get to one hundred comments today. Joe,
- 39:54Speaker 1: we got our NBA rundown. You got two minutes.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Let's go all right, let's do it here as Martin
- 40:00Speaker 2: Luther king Day, starting early in fact one o'clock Eastern time,
- 40:04Speaker 2: Bucks at the Hawks, and we are seeing some Hawks
- 40:07Speaker 2: money continuing to roll in as well as some over
- 40:10Speaker 2: money in this game, and I agree with the over.
- 40:12Speaker 2: You also have little afternoon action with the Oklahoma City
- 40:16Speaker 2: Thunder licking its wounds after losing to Miami. Is a
- 40:21Speaker 2: double digit favorite in Miami a couple of nights ago.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Now they're in Cleveland taking on the Calves, and we've
- 40:28Speaker 2: seen nothing but under money coming in this one. Here
- 40:33Speaker 2: Calves are getting six and a half, and you know what,
- 40:35Speaker 2: I'll take these six and a half. Meanwhile, the Clippers
- 40:38Speaker 2: no Kawhi Leonard, but does it really matter because they're
- 40:41Speaker 2: playing the Wizards here tonight, So the Clippers should have
- 40:44Speaker 2: no problem laid the seven seven and a half. The
- 40:46Speaker 2: Knicks are at home. I have no idea who's going
- 40:48Speaker 2: to play for them. Head scratching here as farther, whether
- 40:52Speaker 2: Bronson or Heart or anybody else is going to be available.
- 40:55Speaker 2: But before you run in late ten and a half,
- 40:57Speaker 2: no if Cooper Flagg is trending the play for Dallas
- 41:01Speaker 2: here tonight. See if he is back in that one.
- 41:03Speaker 2: If not, the Knicks should have no problem handling business
- 41:06Speaker 2: the Jazz and the Spurs. Not interested in laying sixteen
- 41:10Speaker 2: and a half points right now with the Spurs, but
- 41:13Speaker 2: I would be interested in maybe an over in this
- 41:15Speaker 2: spot here figure out if Lori Marknen is playing or not.
- 41:19Speaker 2: The Pacers taking on the Sixers. Pacers should not be
- 41:23Speaker 2: getting eight and a half points anymore at this point.
- 41:25Speaker 2: They've showed they are much better than they were two
- 41:28Speaker 2: months ago. And the Sixers, while they can't seem to
- 41:30Speaker 2: cover anything, the Suns and the Nets. It's the Nets.
- 41:34Speaker 2: We'll back the Suns. The Celtics and the Pistons also
- 41:37Speaker 2: a great game here tonight in a battle of two
- 41:40Speaker 2: Eastern Conference teams nobody saw being number one and number
- 41:44Speaker 2: two in the conference right now. Pistons laying three and
- 41:47Speaker 2: a half. I like the over in that one. And
- 41:51Speaker 2: those Heat taking on the Warriors here tonight. Jimmy Butler
- 41:55Speaker 2: is playing. That should be a lot of fun. But
- 41:57Speaker 2: I think the under is the best bet here tonight
- 42:00Speaker 2: in that one.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Prez Joe ten hockey games tonight, and I absolutely love
- 42:08Speaker 1: this card. I don't know why I'm blurry today, but
- 42:10Speaker 1: if I do that with my hand, there you go.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Well the unblur. Let's get into it. Buffalo playing Carolina.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Hats off to the Buffalo. Oh, Josh Allen just fumbled.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Hats off to the Buffalo Sabers one of the hottest
- 42:23Speaker 1: teams in the league playing incredible time to fade the Sabers,
- 42:28Speaker 1: and it starts tonight. Take Carolina in regulation. Washington playing Colorado.
- 42:34Speaker 1: We're gonna go with the under in this game. Pittsburgh
- 42:37Speaker 1: playing Seattle. We're gonna go with the over in this
- 42:41Speaker 1: hockey game, especially if you can find a five and
- 42:43Speaker 1: a half and there are some five and a half's
- 42:45Speaker 1: out there. San Jose playing Florida. Matthew could chuk back
- 42:50Speaker 1: starts tonight. I think it galvanizes this Florida Panthers team.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I like them in regulation at minus one twenty five.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Soda playing Toronto. Don't love the spot for Toronto, guys.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I'm really worried about Minnesota. They just are coming off
- 43:07Speaker 1: of a horrible stretch. They have not won a regulation
- 43:10Speaker 1: game in seven straight games. I am concerned. What are
- 43:15Speaker 1: we gonna do? Instead, We're gonna look to play under
- 43:17Speaker 1: the total in this game. I've been riding the over
- 43:20Speaker 1: in Toronto games of late, I think we're gonna see
- 43:23Speaker 1: a really strong defensive effort by both teams. Take the under.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Vegas playing Philadelphia. I like Vegas in regulation here, guys,
- 43:32Speaker 1: I think Vegas is a bet on team moving forward.
- 43:35Speaker 1: I really like Winnipeg tonight playing Chicago. I think what
- 43:40Speaker 1: Peg gets it done? Minus one forty, I don't even
- 43:43Speaker 1: mind it in regulation at plus one ten one fifteen.
- 43:47Speaker 1: New Jersey playing Calgary, I think New Jersey is the
- 43:50Speaker 1: play hair, guys, minus one twenty. I think New Jersey's
- 43:53Speaker 1: a bet on team moving forward. I think Calgary is
- 43:56Speaker 1: a bet against team moving forward and the Rangers. I'm
- 44:02Speaker 1: gonna look to play under the total of six and
- 44:04Speaker 1: a half, and I like over the total.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I do not.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I like under the total in the New York Islanders
- 44:12Speaker 1: Vancouver game. That's it, joke. College basketball is all yours.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Oh interesting, pres there? I like that last bit that
- 44:20Speaker 2: it was pretty fun. All right, let's talk not exactly
- 44:22Speaker 2: the biggest of college basketball cards here, but there are
- 44:25Speaker 2: some intriguing matchups. We'll start with. How about Yale taking
- 44:29Speaker 2: on Columbia and yeah, Yale lane eight and a half
- 44:34Speaker 2: nine points, in this spot, and I kind of like
- 44:36Speaker 2: them here at Holmes as the Bulldogs. Well, they ain't
- 44:39Speaker 2: gonna play fast, but they do do a great job
- 44:42Speaker 2: of getting out and getting easy buckets in transition because,
- 44:46Speaker 2: believe it or not, they actually play defense here. Now.
- 44:50Speaker 2: They don't do well against seems like Cornell or Columbia,
- 44:54Speaker 2: but they should have our Harvard rather, But they should
- 44:57Speaker 2: do a pretty good job here against Columbia. I know
- 45:01Speaker 2: it's a big number, but they've scored at least eighty
- 45:03Speaker 2: four points against the Lions in each of the last
- 45:06Speaker 2: five meetings that they've had. They've won the last three
- 45:08Speaker 2: at home by an average of twenty five points. I
- 45:11Speaker 2: think that kind of domination continues in this one here tonight.
- 45:17Speaker 2: We also have maybe the best game on the card
- 45:20Speaker 2: here tonight, GW taking on George Mason. You're Atlantic ten
- 45:25Speaker 2: battle here with these two teams that returned to the
- 45:28Speaker 2: lot of starters are very well experienced, and this line
- 45:31Speaker 2: has been going back and fourth two and a half,
- 45:34Speaker 2: one and a half, two and a half, even so
- 45:37Speaker 2: on three and a half pop up a little bit
- 45:39Speaker 2: earlier here. But GW and George Mason, I think is
- 45:43Speaker 2: gonna come down to one thing. I think George Washington
- 45:46Speaker 2: has an absolute chance to be able to get this
- 45:49Speaker 2: game done here. I know Mason has been pretty darn
- 45:52Speaker 2: impressive here. I know the Patriots are at home, but
- 45:56Speaker 2: I think GW has got an opportunity to put it
- 45:58Speaker 2: all together and get one one of the better wins
- 46:01Speaker 2: on this season. They've been close. I think now is
- 46:05Speaker 2: the time that they can get it. And don't forget
- 46:07Speaker 2: I told you Albany getting it done as part as
- 46:10Speaker 2: our parlay of the day. Make sure you sprinkle a
- 46:13Speaker 2: little something on the money line. Do not trust Vermont
- 46:17Speaker 2: in any way, shape or form, especially to win by margin.
- 46:21Speaker 2: So I will take the points in Albany.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Joe and Airy, thanks for doing this with me. What
- 46:26Speaker 1: a great show. Brian Power kicked aask. We'll be doing
- 46:30Speaker 1: this again tomorrow. Check us out, guys, hit that like button,
- 46:34Speaker 1: subscribe to our channel, make sure to comment. Do not
- 46:38Speaker 1: miss any of my hockey right now. In my college
- 46:40Speaker 1: football bet, both Joe and I our college football bets
- 46:44Speaker 1: are not the same, and they're not different. Well they
- 46:47Speaker 1: are different, I don't I mean they're not the same.
- 46:49Speaker 1: They're not against each other, so you can play both.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Thanks guys, lots of leve We'll see you all tomorrow.
