- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's still almost in his podcast, and as the Bachelor
- 0:09Speaker 2: universe expands, we are bringing you with our thoughts and
- 0:13Speaker 2: opinions on the different shows. They keep popping up on
- 0:16Speaker 2: goodness gracious, and they're popping up today. We're going to
- 0:19Speaker 2: be breaking down episodes one and two of Alex Cooper's
- 0:22Speaker 2: unwell Winter Games, because we were supporting Joe and Serena,
- 0:26Speaker 2: who are contestants on the show. Now, Heather is with
- 0:31Speaker 2: me today to break this down. She's been watching vigilantly
- 0:35Speaker 2: as we all have. We've already talked about this a
- 0:39Speaker 2: little bit, Heather in a past episode of kind of
- 0:42Speaker 2: the casting of this. Dakota is obviously a big name,
- 0:45Speaker 2: and we also have and at del V you know
- 0:49Speaker 2: some some characters that were like wait, what is happening?
- 0:52Speaker 2: That was answered for us in the first episode.
- 0:55Speaker 3: H Clearly they were going for people that were controversial.
- 1:01Speaker 3: It was definitely a choice that they were making.
- 1:04Speaker 2: It was a choice and I'm actually glad when I
- 1:08Speaker 2: heard the intro, I was like, Okay, now this makes sense.
- 1:10Speaker 2: They wanted this. This was not a this was not
- 1:13Speaker 2: a show. They were trying to like please the moral
- 1:16Speaker 2: compass of America. They were wanting the chaos, controversy, and
- 1:20Speaker 2: drama to come out of it. So now that part
- 1:23Speaker 2: makes sense, doesn't make it right or wrong. That's for
- 1:25Speaker 2: the viewer to decide and for the individual decide. But
- 1:28Speaker 2: we now know why they did it. Heather, I want
- 1:32Speaker 2: to start with, how would you feel if you went
- 1:34Speaker 2: on a show and they entered it by saying all
- 1:39Speaker 2: these people are unwell mentally?
- 1:41Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if I would feel great,
- 1:43Speaker 3: But to me, when I was watching it, I was like,
- 1:46Speaker 3: they're just really trying to fit the word unwell in
- 1:49Speaker 3: here as often as they can. But yeah, no, I
- 1:54Speaker 3: wouldn't feel great if I was, you know, in a
- 1:57Speaker 3: headline that said that I was cast on a show
- 2:00Speaker 3: where people were unwell.
- 2:02Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't feel great. But we do kind of enter.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I'm not going to go through every contestant that's on
- 2:08Speaker 2: the show. There's so many, but.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Some familiar faces for you though.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Joe and Serena are on this. Louis from The
- 2:17Speaker 2: Perfect Match knew him well. I had no clue he
- 2:20Speaker 2: was dating Hudha from Love Island. We also have somebody
- 2:24Speaker 2: on there that has like sixty four million followers on Instagram.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and funny, I was embarrassed by actually how
- 2:31Speaker 3: many people I recognize from this cast.
- 2:34Speaker 4: I was like, what does this say about me?
- 2:35Speaker 3: And how autronically online I am? But yeah, I actually
- 2:40Speaker 3: don't know who that person is that has the sixty
- 2:42Speaker 3: four million followers.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I neither do I, which is while Juliette we also
- 2:46Speaker 2: see she was on The Perfect Match yep. Obviously we've
- 2:49Speaker 2: mentioned Dakota who secret lives He's on Dad Talk, which
- 2:55Speaker 2: is something I've learned about very recently. We also bring
- 2:59Speaker 2: in I think a cool little like twist was one
- 3:03Speaker 2: of the contestants couldn't make it on day one, and
- 3:06Speaker 2: so they bring in a producer to be a part
- 3:09Speaker 2: of the cast. That producer ends up becoming like the
- 3:13Speaker 2: main character on this show. Very cool.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Yes, I even had to do some sleuthing the other
- 3:19Speaker 3: night to be like, this is this guy really part
- 3:22Speaker 3: of a production crew. There wasn't a whole lot I
- 3:25Speaker 3: could find out about him on the internet. I did
- 3:28Speaker 3: find he has an IMDb page where he is listed
- 3:31Speaker 3: as an actor, but if you look at his Instagram
- 3:35Speaker 3: you can scroll back a bit and see that he's
- 3:37Speaker 3: been working at Unwell Productions for a minute, So I
- 3:43Speaker 3: think that that's there's definitely truth to the fact that
- 3:46Speaker 3: he works at this company. And I did read an
- 3:50Speaker 3: article that the Love Island contestant that wasn't able to
- 3:54Speaker 3: make it for filming like that.
- 3:56Speaker 4: There's no bad blood.
- 3:57Speaker 3: It wasn't like they pulled out at the last minute
- 4:00Speaker 3: from like an issue. It's Kendall from Love Island, who
- 4:05Speaker 3: if you're a Love Island fan you're familiar with that's
- 4:07Speaker 3: from the previous season, not this most recent season. Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 3: so there was no issue there. It was just like
- 4:14Speaker 3: a travel situation. And remember the show was only filmed
- 4:17Speaker 3: over the course of four days.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a very quick filming. Yeah, he the
- 4:22Speaker 2: producer owns it. He not only gets told he's going
- 4:26Speaker 2: to be on the show, but he dives in as
- 4:28Speaker 2: a cast member very quickly.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I mean it does feel like he would have like
- 4:33Speaker 2: a little bit of an advantage because he would have
- 4:35Speaker 2: sat in all the pre production meetings. He knows what
- 4:39Speaker 2: the show is going to be, he knows who's going
- 4:41Speaker 2: to be there.
- 4:43Speaker 3: He's almost a little too comfy on camera for me though,
- 4:46Speaker 3: Like as somebody who has worked behind the scenes, like,
- 4:48Speaker 3: this is like kind of my worst nightmare if somebody
- 4:52Speaker 3: was like, and I've been asked to. I've been asked
- 4:56Speaker 3: to go be in the background of shots. I've also
- 4:59Speaker 3: been asked to on competition shows. One time the producers
- 5:03Speaker 3: called me and wanted me to go and do the
- 5:06Speaker 3: challenges ahead of time, and I was like, this is
- 5:09Speaker 3: my worst nightmare, Like, I do not want to be
- 5:11Speaker 3: in front of the camera or on that side of
- 5:14Speaker 3: things whatsoever. So this guy just totally stepping in and
- 5:17Speaker 3: being like I'm gonna bartend, I'm gonna make out with people, I'm.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Gonna it's like I'm gonna drink a ton.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Absolutely has no care in the world, and so, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 3: can't relate, can't relate, would not be me.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but he did it. He owns it. The first
- 5:35Speaker 2: episode is kicked off by a competition who's the host
- 5:39Speaker 2: of this By the way, he's obviously part of the production,
- 5:42Speaker 2: but I have never seen him before.
- 5:44Speaker 4: I've never seen him before. His lower third.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Says Adam w I'm gonna have to do some slew
- 5:52Speaker 3: thing because I actually do not know who he is
- 5:55Speaker 3: at all.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I've never seen him before, but he his
- 5:59Speaker 2: his hosting role is really to be like the ultimate
- 6:03Speaker 2: say whatever, and none of it really ever makes sense,
- 6:07Speaker 2: but just make it as like fun. This whole show
- 6:10Speaker 2: is kind of centered around the idea of let's just
- 6:12Speaker 2: make it fun, chaotic and like open up the door
- 6:15Speaker 2: for people to make the decisions that these this group
- 6:18Speaker 2: will make. For me, it's been one of it's been
- 6:21Speaker 2: a similar watch like The Perfect Match. It's entertaining, it
- 6:25Speaker 2: is there's some very awkward moments that we'll get into.
- 6:28Speaker 2: For me that I don't enjoy watching, but I know
- 6:31Speaker 2: they're good for TV. But they definitely dig cast how
- 6:35Speaker 2: they wanted and the people are performing up to stit
- 6:39Speaker 2: par The one character that really kind of is cracking
- 6:42Speaker 2: me up is Cameron. Cameron Is he comes into this thing.
- 6:46Speaker 2: He's like a TikToker that just talks trash about everybody.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That's what he says. Yeah, and he comes into this
- 6:51Speaker 2: after talking trash about pretty much every person that's else
- 6:54Speaker 2: that's there.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Cameron is on my FYP on TikTok.
- 6:59Speaker 3: He is one of the TikTokers I was very familiar
- 7:01Speaker 3: with because he is so funny.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yeah, could I have named him? In a lineup.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Probably not, But I the second I saw him on camera,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I go, I know this TikToker is.
- 7:11Speaker 4: He's in my feet all the time. He's so funny.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I've got to ask you, because we're uh, like the
- 7:17Speaker 3: same age. Did you used to watch MTV when you
- 7:19Speaker 3: were a teenager or was that Okay, I'm not sure
- 7:22Speaker 3: about like what you used to consume. This show gives
- 7:26Speaker 3: me very old school, messy MTV vibes. Now, I can't
- 7:31Speaker 3: say I've watched MTV in the last fifteen years.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It's on me if it exists anymore.
- 7:36Speaker 3: By the way, some iteration of it exists, because they
- 7:39Speaker 3: do like the challenge and stuff still, but I don't
- 7:44Speaker 3: know if they make content still like this. But that
- 7:47Speaker 3: is what I feel like when I'm watching this show.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That you're not wrong, You're actually that's a great comparison.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It is like the original Real World with more like
- 7:58Speaker 2: competition based, where exactly you get a bunch of strangers
- 8:02Speaker 2: together in the house and you say, go live together
- 8:05Speaker 2: and see what happens.
- 8:06Speaker 3: For a competition show, it's much more focused on what's
- 8:09Speaker 3: happening in the chalet than what's happening in the competitions.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, Heather, I'm gonna say, I want to
- 8:15Speaker 2: ask a question that's controversial to you, Okay, because we'll
- 8:20Speaker 2: break down these episodes. Really, we're doing it for Joe
- 8:23Speaker 2: and Serena, and I'll be honest. In the first two episodes,
- 8:25Speaker 2: they are not a thing.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I was gonna say first episode blinking you miss them.
- 8:29Speaker 3: They're definitely not there. We only get a funny line
- 8:31Speaker 3: from Joe in episode two.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, like this is They're not the focus it was.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I'm asking this question because it was brought up to
- 8:38Speaker 2: me by a friend yesterday. You know, The Bachelor has
- 8:45Speaker 2: struggled as of recent for multiple reasons. But you know,
- 8:50Speaker 2: my buddy has a theory that the lack of drinking
- 8:53Speaker 2: on the show has caused for those elements of surprise
- 8:58Speaker 2: and chaos to be a eliminated. It's now instead of
- 9:03Speaker 2: the drama coming as like kind of funny like drunken arguments,
- 9:07Speaker 2: now it's they're like sober and more like bully like
- 9:11Speaker 2: direct like personal attacks, because like nobody's like loosened up yet.
- 9:18Speaker 2: These shows obviously are like allowing people to consume as
- 9:21Speaker 2: much alcohol as they want. I'm not saying it's a
- 9:23Speaker 2: good thing, right. It's not something that I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 2: go out and drink your brain's out and then go
- 9:28Speaker 2: on TV.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But is I mean, these shows that are really taking
- 9:32Speaker 2: off right now don't have a drinking limit and the
- 9:35Speaker 2: shows that are struggling. Do do you think there's any correlation?
- 9:38Speaker 2: That was his question to me.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I think that that is a valid point.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I feel like we've seen I want to say that
- 9:47Speaker 3: NBC Universal went through a similar thing two summers ago
- 9:54Speaker 3: about the drinking and now has to give like a
- 9:59Speaker 3: drinking like guidelines before the filming of every single show,
- 10:03Speaker 3: and they are.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Also limiting their alcohol on those shows.
- 10:07Speaker 3: And as an avid Bravo watcher, I want to say
- 10:10Speaker 3: that I've not noticed a difference in the content on
- 10:14Speaker 3: that side of things. When it comes to a dating show,
- 10:18Speaker 3: I think the bigger thing that we've realized is that
- 10:24Speaker 3: the younger generation, because they have communicated so much on
- 10:28Speaker 3: their phones, are actually more awkward when doing the face
- 10:32Speaker 3: to face communication, so it.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Makes it a little bit harder to watch.
- 10:36Speaker 3: We saw this on the last season of Love Island
- 10:39Speaker 3: because Love Island also limits the alcohol and they actually
- 10:43Speaker 3: only drink little.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Like baby cups. Like they had a very small drink.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so, and that show is full of dramas, so
- 10:51Speaker 3: I think it's I think it's.
- 10:52Speaker 4: A little bit here and there.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I think, yeah, we miss those I miss night one
- 10:58Speaker 3: at the Bachelor Mansion, when you know somebody would get
- 11:01Speaker 3: so drunk they fell in the pool in their suit,
- 11:03Speaker 3: you know, like, yeah, yeah, it happened in a lot
- 11:06Speaker 3: of seasons. We don't get that moment anymore. But I
- 11:09Speaker 3: think there's a little truth to that. And also just generationally,
- 11:13Speaker 3: we're just seeing a big shift in how the younger
- 11:16Speaker 3: generation communicates and how they hold themselves on camera. I
- 11:19Speaker 3: think they're a little bit more savvy too when it
- 11:24Speaker 3: comes to especially these people when it comes to their brand.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Oh and like going into a situation that makes.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Sense, Yeah it does. I just I mean this show
- 11:35Speaker 2: obviously it came up because this show is open bar.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Drink as much as you want. I think, I don't know,
- 11:42Speaker 2: we don't know.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Actually right, it looks like they were doing shots for
- 11:46Speaker 3: sure in episode two. So they're drinking wine too, which
- 11:51Speaker 3: actually kind of cracks me up.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Like, see, I mean, I love a glass of wine.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I'm in my thirties, but it's like kind of funny
- 11:58Speaker 3: to see like a twenty one year old, like holding
- 12:01Speaker 3: a glass of wine, like sitting in a chalet. We'll
- 12:04Speaker 3: get this in episode two.
- 12:06Speaker 2: But cigarette smoking, Yeah, I didn't know it was still
- 12:10Speaker 2: a thing.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I have not seen that in a minute, and it
- 12:14Speaker 3: made me write the question of is cigarette smoking back
- 12:17Speaker 3: in with the younger generation.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's a New York thing.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It's never left New York, and I think all those
- 12:23Speaker 2: people that we are like New Yorkers, and I do
- 12:25Speaker 2: think it's a New York thing. Still. God, I don't
- 12:29Speaker 2: have any friends. I had friends that previously smoked, you know,
- 12:33Speaker 2: past college, and I don't have any friends that still smoke.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I don't think it's a thing. I don't see it
- 12:37Speaker 2: out a lot anymore. But I do think when I
- 12:40Speaker 2: go to New York it's more common. Heather An. Episode one,
- 12:45Speaker 2: we get introduced to the cast and then they play
- 12:47Speaker 2: a game a challenge where they are a jump on
- 12:50Speaker 2: a snowmobile and then they have to pick the TikTok
- 12:53Speaker 2: or the amount of followers each person has. This is
- 12:57Speaker 2: really just an entry to the whole show. There's not
- 13:00Speaker 2: a lot here that takes away from it, but we
- 13:03Speaker 2: start to see kind of the whole idea of the show.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's four days, it's a competition show. There's going to
- 13:09Speaker 2: be two different teams, there's gonna be people coming in
- 13:11Speaker 2: and out, and there's gonna it's kind of gonna be
- 13:15Speaker 2: a fly by the seat of our pants, like everything's
- 13:17Speaker 2: gonna change. There's no really format, like they're kind of saying, hey,
- 13:21Speaker 2: you went home today, and new persons coming in. It
- 13:26Speaker 2: is kind of the idea.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, And the fact that everybody's split into two teams.
- 13:31Speaker 3: So we've got the Blue team versus the Purple team,
- 13:35Speaker 3: and they're all competing for cash, and then there's going
- 13:41Speaker 3: to be chances for them in individual competitions to bank
- 13:46Speaker 3: money for themselves.
- 13:48Speaker 4: That's kind of like the gist of the show.
- 13:50Speaker 2: The end of the show is to the teams have
- 13:53Speaker 2: to pick their weakest link. This ends up becoming Louis
- 13:57Speaker 2: who says that I will be the weakest link on
- 13:59Speaker 2: this team because my girlfriend is on the other team
- 14:02Speaker 2: and I'm going to be loyal to her over my team,
- 14:05Speaker 2: So I am your weakest link. And then Hallie, who's
- 14:09Speaker 2: a podcaster out of New York City. She volunteers because
- 14:13Speaker 2: she's like, this is just going to get awkward, and
- 14:15Speaker 2: I know I'm the weakest link here on this team,
- 14:18Speaker 2: and so I will put my hand up. She says,
- 14:21Speaker 2: there's no way they're going to send me home, So
- 14:23Speaker 2: that's not happening.
- 14:25Speaker 3: It was a very strategic amount of people being like,
- 14:28Speaker 3: who's our weakest, Like, well, let's vote off somebody that's
- 14:31Speaker 3: not really weak because we know that they're going to
- 14:33Speaker 3: go into something like they all knew that there was
- 14:36Speaker 3: going to be a twist, and so that to me
- 14:38Speaker 3: was like, these people are a little too savvy than
- 14:42Speaker 3: like some normies who would go on a show like this,
- 14:45Speaker 3: who would be douking it out, you know what I mean.
- 14:47Speaker 3: It was like a very civil conversation between both teams
- 14:50Speaker 3: to choose the weakest link, and that's usually not how
- 14:52Speaker 3: these go.
- 14:53Speaker 2: No it isn't. But they find out at the end
- 14:56Speaker 2: of the episode that, h you know, the loser will
- 15:02Speaker 2: be going home, the two weakest links will be competing
- 15:04Speaker 2: in a challenge. The loser will be going home.
- 15:17Speaker 3: And then we see in the end of episode one
- 15:19Speaker 3: that Demi from Secret Lives and Mormon Wives comes in
- 15:22Speaker 3: and she will be taking the spot of whoever ends
- 15:25Speaker 3: up getting eliminated through this next challenge, so everybody's pretty
- 15:30Speaker 3: shocked to see her, especially Dakota who is literally on
- 15:33Speaker 3: the same television show as her. Episode two, we get
- 15:37Speaker 3: into it picks up right where the last episode has
- 15:42Speaker 3: left off, and we see that Alissa and Cameron are
- 15:48Speaker 3: talking about their strategy to win the game. Cameron says
- 15:51Speaker 3: that asks Huda to talk outside and he's honest with her.
- 15:55Speaker 3: They kind of clear the air because there was a
- 15:56Speaker 3: little bit of tension there. But the next day we
- 15:59Speaker 3: go into the cast members having to go to this mountain.
- 16:03Speaker 3: They don't know what's up, and this is when you
- 16:06Speaker 3: know the host tells them and Alex Cooper comes out
- 16:09Speaker 3: that you know they're going to be doing this next challenge,
- 16:13Speaker 3: but Alex says that there's a twist. Whoever wins this
- 16:17Speaker 3: challenge gets to stay in the Unwell Games and win
- 16:20Speaker 3: ten thousand dollars. The challenge ends up being beer pong.
- 16:25Speaker 3: You have a beer pong past ben.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I enjoy a good game of beer pong.
- 16:29Speaker 2: It's a lot of fun.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Louis is a little caught off guard because he's gonna
- 16:33Speaker 3: have to be playing this and he's from the UK
- 16:36Speaker 3: and says he's never played this game before, and he
- 16:39Speaker 3: is going to be playing up until this point against
- 16:42Speaker 3: Hallie because she was the one who, you know, said
- 16:45Speaker 3: she was the weakest on the other team. But right
- 16:48Speaker 3: before she goes, Andrew from production says that he will take.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Her spot because he likes her.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Because he likes her, and yeah, that's that's why.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Uh So they play face off against each other and
- 17:03Speaker 3: Louis shockingly wins for having never played this game before.
- 17:06Speaker 4: It's pretty neck and neck.
- 17:07Speaker 2: He's good though they I mean, maybe they just show
- 17:10Speaker 2: the made cups. Yeah, but Louis takes him down. Andrew
- 17:15Speaker 2: looks like a guy who's played some beer pong, like you,
- 17:17Speaker 2: just like, yeah.
- 17:18Speaker 4: One hundred percent.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Andrew probably has his own beer pong set up at home.
- 17:23Speaker 3: That's what I would guess by looking at that guy.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Sorry, after this game, he's not happy that he lost,
- 17:29Speaker 2: but he goes back to production.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Everybody about five seconds.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and then he shows up again. He shows up
- 17:35Speaker 2: again really after the team challenge, which is sending people
- 17:40Speaker 2: down in a well.
- 17:43Speaker 3: First it's a trivia challenge and then it's the throwing
- 17:46Speaker 3: people towards a bullseye in an inner tube. The challenge
- 17:50Speaker 3: with the trivia stuff is when we get the one
- 17:53Speaker 3: funny line from Joe so far in these two episodes,
- 17:56Speaker 3: which is that his whole passes du Lipa.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It's a lot of people's actually, I.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Think Duleva is very hot.
- 18:04Speaker 3: So like, and we also find out that Dakota has
- 18:08Speaker 3: slid into Selena Gomez his DMS and not heard back
- 18:11Speaker 3: from her. That was actually really funny because I think
- 18:15Speaker 3: by his reaction, he did not know that that was
- 18:17Speaker 3: actually going to be a question on the show. He
- 18:20Speaker 3: was pretty embarrassed that that got out about him, and I.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Think he's confused on how it did. He's like, I
- 18:25Speaker 2: haven't told anybody, Like, how does anybody know?
- 18:28Speaker 3: It's like, Dakota, you told a producer like at some point,
- 18:32Speaker 3: or you filled out an application and you put that
- 18:34Speaker 3: as an answer at some point. Yeah, he was very
- 18:36Speaker 3: embarrassed by that answer, and he was very embarrassed he
- 18:39Speaker 3: got called out. But yeah, then they do the inner
- 18:41Speaker 3: tube thing where they throw them towards a bull's eye,
- 18:46Speaker 3: and the one who ends up getting closest is Nico,
- 18:49Speaker 3: another TikToker that I am very familiar with, the Daddy Academy.
- 18:54Speaker 3: I really love Nico. If anybody doesn't follow him or
- 18:57Speaker 3: follow his content, he's super sweet. He's East Coast bass guy,
- 19:01Speaker 3: and his whole content is geared towards women about not
- 19:05Speaker 3: falling for boys and how to like, you know, get
- 19:10Speaker 3: a daddy, like a good guy that is not gonna
- 19:14Speaker 3: treat you poorly.
- 19:15Speaker 4: So he's very positive.
- 19:16Speaker 3: We like Nico and we like the Daddy Academy, so
- 19:19Speaker 3: I was happy to see him pop up on this show.
- 19:23Speaker 3: And I'm chronically online. That's all I realized when I
- 19:26Speaker 3: watched this was I was like.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I don't know everybody.
- 19:28Speaker 3: I don't think I'm the unwell demographic, but it made
- 19:31Speaker 3: me feel like I am when I watched this, because
- 19:33Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I know like ninety eight percent
- 19:36Speaker 3: of this cast.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Oh that's good. I mean, that's amazing, Heather, And I'm
- 19:40Speaker 2: thankful for you because I did not now the big
- 19:54Speaker 2: moments in this The rest of this show are really
- 19:59Speaker 2: Andrew the producer. Yeah, back into the chateau for the
- 20:04Speaker 2: evening portion as the bartender. He's a bartender for just
- 20:07Speaker 2: a short period of time.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Bartender who doesn't know how to make drinks. He's very
- 20:11Speaker 4: clear about that.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I think there's one thing on Andrew's mind and it
- 20:14Speaker 2: is Halle. Yeah, and the two of them end up
- 20:19Speaker 2: canodling for a bit. This is the awkward exchange that
- 20:23Speaker 2: I was talking about. It's not awkward that they're kissing.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Good for them, they're single, they're into each other, go
- 20:28Speaker 2: for it. She's into a lot of the dudes there.
- 20:30Speaker 2: She admits that she doesn't know who she's going to
- 20:32Speaker 2: kiss in what order and how they're not all going
- 20:34Speaker 2: to find out. But the two of them laying in
- 20:37Speaker 2: bed and this awkward, like that's the moments that I cringe,
- 20:41Speaker 2: where like he stops kissing right away and he goes, oh,
- 20:44Speaker 2: you're a good kisser. I'm like, I don't need that
- 20:47Speaker 2: or like want that, and who says that? What's happening?
- 20:50Speaker 3: And when he's in an interview and he's like a
- 20:52Speaker 3: month ago, I was at the mall and my friend
- 20:55Speaker 3: pointed at a poster of Halle and now I'm making
- 20:58Speaker 3: out with her.
- 20:59Speaker 4: I was like, Andrew, dude, keep that to yourself. Man.
- 21:03Speaker 2: It's a little tough, a little tough for me to
- 21:05Speaker 2: like to watch. Ye, it's a little cringey, I would say.
- 21:10Speaker 4: The kids would say, it's cringey. It's cringey.
- 21:12Speaker 2: It makes me like kind of like buckle up a
- 21:15Speaker 2: little bit.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Also cringey. Andrew wearing his sunglasses all day and all night.
- 21:21Speaker 3: He it's nighttime. He is making out with Hallie. He
- 21:23Speaker 3: is wearing his sunglasses. He's wearing his sunglasses in his interviews.
- 21:27Speaker 3: He is not taking those babies off. And that's a
- 21:30Speaker 3: little cringey.
- 21:31Speaker 2: It's a little tough, but he's enjoying his ride. And
- 21:35Speaker 2: you know what, for Andrew, he is at a sense
- 21:39Speaker 2: outshining people who have made a living.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Oh, he's getting like the second most amount of camera
- 21:45Speaker 3: time and he's not even a celeb, but like for
- 21:48Speaker 3: sure celeb.
- 21:49Speaker 4: I use the word with air quotes on this show.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's loosely. Next, Adam, the host, joins the contestants
- 21:57Speaker 2: at the chalet. After this whole makeout session. Someone from
- 22:00Speaker 2: the losing team will be getting eliminated that evening. It's
- 22:04Speaker 2: the person who is furthest from the target. So Hannah
- 22:08Speaker 2: is eliminated. Hannah, I think is the one with like
- 22:10Speaker 2: the second most followers or the most followers on the show, right.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Yeah, she had a very high following count and no.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I mean, that's the funny part about this show is
- 22:19Speaker 2: nobody knows when and how people are getting eliminated, and
- 22:22Speaker 2: they're just eliminating as they go. So Hannah is being
- 22:26Speaker 2: eliminated and she gets replaced by somebody right immediately.
- 22:30Speaker 3: So it's like, that's what's funny about this show, is
- 22:32Speaker 3: like immediately somebody goes home and then they're like, and
- 22:34Speaker 3: here's your new teammate, and in walks in Dylan Kevitch.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I think I'm saying that last name right. He is
- 22:41Speaker 3: known for. He's another TikToker that I was like, as
- 22:45Speaker 3: soon as he popped up, I was like, didn't know
- 22:47Speaker 3: his name. I have definitely seen him on my feed.
- 22:49Speaker 3: He does like very funny little dances and his whole
- 22:52Speaker 3: thing is shut up and me, uh that's what literally
- 22:56Speaker 3: it says on his lower third. And those are the
- 22:58Speaker 3: tiktoks he's known for me making funny. And he shows
- 23:02Speaker 3: up at the chalet and when they're talking about going
- 23:04Speaker 3: in the hot tub, he's like, wait, I didn't know
- 23:07Speaker 3: we were gonna like be getting, you know, shirtless. Somebody
- 23:10Speaker 3: needs to help me shave my back, which is what
- 23:13Speaker 3: they end up going to do.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Shaving his back.
- 23:16Speaker 2: That is fantastic. What a show, Heather. Obviously we're breaking
- 23:21Speaker 2: it down for Joe and Serena, but yet they are
- 23:24Speaker 2: not fitting the mold of this show. I cannot wait
- 23:27Speaker 2: to possibly get them on as guests to be like,
- 23:29Speaker 2: what were you thinking as this thing was going on?
- 23:32Speaker 3: We get a.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Scene with Serena really quickly.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I don't know how many drinks she'd had, but Hallie's
- 23:36Speaker 3: talking about, you know, making out with somebody, blah blah blah,
- 23:40Speaker 3: and Serena goes, well, the least she could do is
- 23:43Speaker 3: give him some toime.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yeah she did.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Say that, so we got We got Joe is his
- 23:50Speaker 3: hall passes Dua Lipa, and Serena is encouraging a little
- 23:54Speaker 3: tonsil hockey with her new cast mates.
- 23:57Speaker 4: But other than that, yeah, we have not seen a
- 23:59Speaker 4: whole lot of them.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Also, we saw Joe answer a question completely wrong during
- 24:04Speaker 3: one of the challenges.
- 24:05Speaker 4: You just shouted out an answer.
- 24:07Speaker 3: So I don't know if they're just happy to be there,
- 24:09Speaker 3: if they're you know, they just wanted to get a
- 24:11Speaker 3: four day little ski sesshon in, but you know, we're
- 24:16Speaker 3: happy for them regarding neither of them have gone home
- 24:19Speaker 3: and they're on the same team. They managed to not
- 24:21Speaker 3: get themselves split up, which I guess is a good
- 24:24Speaker 3: thing for them.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Yeah, they and hopefully they're getting more action the two
- 24:29Speaker 2: of them than anybody else in the house.
- 24:31Speaker 4: I mean, oh off camera, you mean.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they're not going to get filmed.
- 24:35Speaker 3: You know, we all know that Joe and Serena live
- 24:37Speaker 3: in a very tiny apartment. I don't know if you
- 24:39Speaker 3: watched them get that whole place made over. I did,
- 24:43Speaker 3: and it's very small. So I'm hoping that they have
- 24:45Speaker 3: a very large room in this chalet, and that was
- 24:48Speaker 3: like one of the big reasons for them to go.
- 24:50Speaker 2: It's a little vacation head there. As we close. For
- 24:54Speaker 2: listeners out there, would you recommend watching this show?
- 25:00Speaker 4: I'm gonna be really really honest.
- 25:02Speaker 3: I as much as I do like Joe and Serena,
- 25:04Speaker 3: I actually felt last night when I was watching episode two,
- 25:07Speaker 3: I thought, did I just get.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Dumber watching this?
- 25:12Speaker 3: There's a little too much of the chit chat about
- 25:17Speaker 3: making out who I'm gonna make out with? When am
- 25:20Speaker 3: I gonna make out with this person? There's like a
- 25:22Speaker 3: little too much of that for me, And so no, I.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Don't know if I would recommend this.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Show, but I also am like, I'm not the age
- 25:33Speaker 3: demographic for this show, So I would love to know
- 25:36Speaker 3: if our listeners are watching it, if they're enjoying it.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Listen, it's a it's a four episode thing.
- 25:42Speaker 3: It's not like we're doing a huge undertaking recapping this show.
- 25:46Speaker 3: But I would say, comparative to Alex Cooper's other show
- 25:50Speaker 3: that we just recapped, Love Overboard, which I adored and
- 25:54Speaker 3: thought was so funny and so twisty and great and
- 25:57Speaker 3: so many levels, this is not hitting those same beat
- 26:00Speaker 3: for me.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's obviously a very lower cost production.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Oh clearly.
- 26:07Speaker 3: What I saw a shot of a camera person in
- 26:09Speaker 3: this second episode in a mirror, and it's just a
- 26:12Speaker 3: girl with a little handheld.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Camera like standing there.
- 26:15Speaker 2: You know.
- 26:15Speaker 4: So it's super super low budge what they're making here.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a hey, but it is a wild cast,
- 26:22Speaker 2: which sut it before, and we've talked about it today.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Can I just say sorry before we go?
- 26:26Speaker 3: Ben Anna Delvey showing off her ankle bracelet while filming
- 26:32Speaker 3: that was actually a highlight moment.
- 26:33Speaker 4: I thought that was pretty funny.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah it is, and she has to go charge it.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Yeah, she has to go charge it because she's at
- 26:39Speaker 3: high elevation and she like doesn't want people to, you know,
- 26:42Speaker 3: call the FBI on her.
- 26:44Speaker 4: So that was actually kind of funny what should.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Actually make for a great scene in the show. The
- 26:48Speaker 2: FBI raids the chateau to find out where Anna is.
- 26:53Speaker 2: This has been our breakdown of Joe and Serena's appearance,
- 26:56Speaker 2: and that's what we'll call it on the Unwell Winter Games.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Check it out if you want, don't check it out
- 27:02Speaker 2: if you don't want to. It's it's a it's it's
- 27:06Speaker 2: like a it's a time passer. I would call it. Uh,
- 27:08Speaker 2: it's a it's a good time passer. Hey, this has
