The Rings in the Bathroom: Nat Fraser and the Disappearance of Arlene Fraser
In April 1998, thirty-three-year-old Arlene Fraser waved her children off to school in Elgin, Moray, and was never seen again; her body has never been found. Her estranged husband Nat Fraser was convicted of arranging her murder in 2003, partly on the evidence of his friend Hector Dick and her rings reappearing in the bathroom, but the UK Supreme Court ruled his trial unfair over undisclosed police evidence about those rings. He was convicted again at a retrial in 2012, and still denies any involvement.
