My Discovery of England - Stephen Leacock
"My Discovery of England" by Stephen Leacock captures the author's impressions of England during a time when public sentiment in the United States and Canada was stirred by feelings of unfairness regarding international relations. Leacock, a Canadian political economist and humorist, embarks on a journey to England at his own expense, driven by a desire to gather firsthand experiences and insights. This exploration reflects themes of curiosity, cultural exchange, and the quest for understanding that remain relevant today as societies grapple with perceptions of one another.
