- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and come
- 0:31Speaker 1: laugh with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along
- 0:36Speaker 1: with Trade Trendholm and Raj Sharma on a Thursday, October
- 0:41Speaker 1: twenty fourth, twenty twenty four, ten, twenty four, twenty four.
- 0:46Speaker 1: If you are into the whole numerology thing, which Raj
- 0:49Speaker 1: I know you are, is a day have any significance
- 0:54Speaker 1: or does it just look and sound cool?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Well? Two four would be a six, so then you
- 0:59Speaker 2: got two six is that's a twelve. That'll be three.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Three is a very good numerology number. But then you
- 1:04Speaker 2: got the ten, so that would make it a four.
- 1:07Speaker 2: And four is also a very good numerology number, but
- 1:10Speaker 2: three is better, so it's still it's still a very
- 1:12Speaker 2: auspicious day.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I followed that about as well as I follow common
- 1:17Speaker 1: core math.
- 1:18Speaker 2: So I'm just gonna take one plus zero in the
- 1:22Speaker 2: ten is one two plus four six two plus four six.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I got that one plus six plus six, right.
- 1:30Speaker 1: It's fourteen. Yeah, I got I got the twelve. I
- 1:32Speaker 1: just don't know how you went from twelve to three.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Oh one plus two is.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Three one plus two three, so that'll be four.
- 1:39Speaker 3: What about thirteen because that's the total number.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so then you go thirteen, then you go one
- 1:44Speaker 2: plus three, that's four. So four is a very auspicious
- 1:48Speaker 2: number as well. But three, because everything is so it's
- 1:51Speaker 2: supposed to be divisible by threes. So three isn't even
- 1:54Speaker 2: better number.
- 1:55Speaker 3: So four is a questionable number.
- 1:58Speaker 2: No, it's just a good it's an auspicious number. It's
- 1:59Speaker 2: just a three is a better number than four.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know why either train Okay, I'm just
- 2:08Speaker 1: taking his word for it. I will say though, that
- 2:11Speaker 1: it actually works into what I planned on starting to
- 2:15Speaker 1: show with in a very loose way. Sore with me
- 2:18Speaker 1: for a moment. So the number twelve is good because
- 2:23Speaker 1: one plus two is three, and three is a quote
- 2:25Speaker 1: unquote good number.
- 2:26Speaker 2: It's a very very auspicious number. Okay, unless you have
- 2:29Speaker 2: ocd that that's like the killer number, like that's the
- 2:32Speaker 2: number that they obsessed about, the number three.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Yes, okay, I have some gut wretching, not gut wrenching,
- 2:46Speaker 1: gut wrenching news about a famous twelve, which would be
- 2:49Speaker 1: a three, which is auspicious. Did either of you watch
- 2:53Speaker 1: Sunday Night Football this past week? The Jets, Yes, looking
- 3:01Speaker 1: extremely lacklusters. I wasn't big on watching the game because
- 3:06Speaker 1: suggests and it's one of the few Sunday games that
- 3:09Speaker 1: didn't involve are disappointing Cowboys. So I took Sunday Night
- 3:14Speaker 1: football off. And apparently I missed quite a bit because
- 3:17Speaker 1: during the game we found out that one of the
- 3:22Speaker 1: most famous number twelves. We found out something new about
- 3:26Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers that I did not know and I only
- 3:30Speaker 1: just learned about it yesterday, and I am shooketh So, gentlemen,
- 3:37Speaker 1: here's a clip I'm going to show you briefly of
- 3:39Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers on the sideline during the game getting their
- 3:43Speaker 1: ass stopped. All right, there we go. I want you
- 3:47Speaker 1: to see what Aaron does.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Thursday night game against Houston on Halloween at met
- 3:53Speaker 2: Life this year, played a Thursday night game against Houston
- 3:57Speaker 2: on Halloween.
- 3:58Speaker 4: At met Life.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Any any debate there on what Aaron Rodgers appears to
- 4:05Speaker 1: be doing, because to me, it appears to be that
- 4:09Speaker 1: he's extracting a bug, rolling it briefly and then hannibal
- 4:17Speaker 1: lecturing it right into his chompers.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Maybe that's where he holds his ayahuasca. Maybe that's where
- 4:24Speaker 2: he's got a little ayahuasca stored over there, and like
- 4:27Speaker 2: he just likes to trip balls.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It's kind of like a dip.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, he likes to just tripballs doing during the game
- 4:33Speaker 2: and hopefully see the shadow Man. This shadow Man, that's
- 4:37Speaker 2: what he's That's what he says. He says when he knows,
- 4:39Speaker 2: he knows he's going to win, when he sees the
- 4:41Speaker 2: shadow Man in the stands.
- 4:43Speaker 3: He ain't the shadow Man in a long time.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It sounds like he used to go back in that
- 4:49Speaker 1: tent and get to smoking, licking, picking some more. Whatever
- 4:53Speaker 1: the case is. Uh So, did anyone else know or
- 4:57Speaker 1: have any inkling that Aaron Rodgers was a bugger? Does
- 5:00Speaker 1: it make you feel better about yourself? Does it make
- 5:02Speaker 1: you feel better since we're all Cowboys fans knowing that,
- 5:05Speaker 1: at least for now, there is no evidence supporting that
- 5:09Speaker 1: our quarterback Dak Prescott is a booger eater. Also doesn't
- 5:12Speaker 1: have a Super Bowl ring, but at least not a
- 5:14Speaker 1: booger eater.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Thoughts in general, if Dak would eat boogers and get
- 5:18Speaker 2: in to the Super Bowl boog away.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm a big supporter of that. Get in there. Yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I don't even care if your Super Bowl ring has
- 5:28Speaker 1: to be green because of it, I don't care because
- 5:30Speaker 1: as a Cowboys man, I'm not the one that's being
- 5:33Speaker 1: shouldered with the burden of eating the boogers in order
- 5:35Speaker 1: to catapult you into you know, here's here's.
- 5:41Speaker 2: A question, then, Dan, what if a magic genie came
- 5:44Speaker 2: down and said, here's the deal. You have to from
- 5:48Speaker 2: today on eat every booger in your nose, but every
- 5:53Speaker 2: time you do, and if you keep doing it, sorry,
- 5:56Speaker 2: if you keep doing it, the Cowboys will always win
- 5:59Speaker 2: the super Bowl as long as you keep eating. But
- 6:06Speaker 2: you have to always eat the boogers.
- 6:09Speaker 1: In your every day, every booger until I.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Die, until your death. But that's super Bowl. But the
- 6:18Speaker 2: Cowboys will win a super Bowl every year as long
- 6:20Speaker 2: as you keep eating your bookers.
- 6:22Speaker 1: No, I'm not doing that.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You wouldn't do that.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I have a life outside of Cowboys football, and I
- 6:28Speaker 1: would then go live it.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Uh.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I look at it this way. I don't get the
- 6:35Speaker 1: riches and all the things that come with being a
- 6:38Speaker 1: Super Bowl champion, either player or owner or anyone in between.
- 6:44Speaker 1: So if I'm gonna be the one that's responsible for
- 6:48Speaker 1: all the Super Bowl victories because I'm eating all the
- 6:50Speaker 1: bugs out of my nose. Then, by god, I deserve
- 6:52Speaker 1: to get paid as the best booger eater in the league. Okay,
- 6:55Speaker 1: so that that would I'm not even going to entertain
- 6:59Speaker 1: this thought until there's at least a solid contract offer
- 7:02Speaker 1: on the table.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Okay, we'll get you. You get a contract and your
- 7:06Speaker 2: front page of the of the newspaper every week. Dan
- 7:10Speaker 2: Ol Malley successfully eight two pounds of boogers this week,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and the Cowboys are headed to.
- 7:16Speaker 1: The I'm not going to need the sound effect here.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And the Cowboys once again are headed to the super
- 7:24Speaker 2: Bowl thanks to the magical boogers of Daniel Malley.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I'll tell you why I wouldn't do it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Oh, I'd love to hear this.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Because, honestly, I, for the most part, I find Cowboys
- 7:38Speaker 5: fans insufferable to begin with. If we win a Super
- 7:40Speaker 5: Bowl every year, oh my god, they'd be just absolutely
- 7:44Speaker 5: and they'd be horrible. I'd have to denounce my fandom.
- 7:49Speaker 5: I pretty much kind of already have.
- 7:50Speaker 1: But yeah, I will say this. I feel like being
- 7:54Speaker 1: forced to eat boogers would be a nice, you know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: change from all the we keep eating from the Cowboys
- 8:02Speaker 1: as fans.
- 8:03Speaker 2: See, there's always a silver lining.
- 8:05Speaker 5: I mean, and and you know, Dad, he said you
- 8:07Speaker 5: wanted to get paid like a booger eader. Isn't that
- 8:09Speaker 5: like being paid like a kicker?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:12Speaker 2: But you can also take like side hustles, right like, Hey,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm not going to eat them today unless you guys
- 8:17Speaker 2: pay me.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I'm gonna hold out.
- 8:21Speaker 2: You could be a booger holdout.
- 8:26Speaker 1: To go to my next high school reunion.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Who knew the farmer hanky could be a threat.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Oh god, that's disgusting. Uh no, I'm not doing that.
- 8:41Speaker 5: And you can make a ton on your own YouTube
- 8:43Speaker 5: channel just people watching it. Yeah, screw doctor pimple Popper.
- 8:47Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. It's Daniel Booger reader. That's the
- 8:52Speaker 2: new TLC show. They just follow you around while you're
- 8:56Speaker 2: just going in there and just just pulling them out
- 8:58Speaker 2: and just ah, you know, you can put some hot
- 9:02Speaker 2: sauce on them.
- 9:04Speaker 3: When you're sick eat oysters.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think boogers are an aphrodisiac.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Ray till that's Aaron Rodgers tuche he looked turned on.
- 9:26Speaker 6: You're listening to the Treehouse visit us online. That Treehouse
- 9:31Speaker 6: on air dot com.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Eight three three Cook df W. That's the phone number
- 9:42Speaker 1: you need to use to contact Daniel Cook from Cook
- 9:45Speaker 1: df W Roofing and Restoration for that free roof inspection. Daniel,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I know that people are looking around their property and thinking,
- 9:53Speaker 1: is there anything I need to do, anything I need
- 9:55Speaker 1: to catch up on now that I'm not melting in
- 9:58Speaker 1: the summer heat. Uh And also so kind of going
- 10:00Speaker 1: and coinciding with people re upping their insurance, now's a
- 10:05Speaker 1: great time to catch up on those things and have
- 10:06Speaker 1: you come out and take a look, right Dan.
- 10:09Speaker 7: I know a lot of people I've been talking to
- 10:11Speaker 7: lately are thinking of renewing their insurance with different companies.
- 10:15Speaker 7: They've been searching rates. Everybody is concerned with the insurance
- 10:18Speaker 7: costs going up, rightfully, Sol, I mean everybody's rates are
- 10:22Speaker 7: going up twenty and twenty five percent, forty percent, I've heard.
- 10:26Speaker 7: The one thing I always caution our clients with and
- 10:28Speaker 7: people I talk to is.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Please please please.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Make sure you have us come out check your property,
- 10:34Speaker 7: make sure you do not have any hidden damage or
- 10:37Speaker 7: if you might qualify for a roof replacement before you
- 10:40Speaker 7: switch policies. If you switch policies with a different carrier,
- 10:45Speaker 7: and you then have a problem down the road in
- 10:48Speaker 7: four or five six months after having them, and if
- 10:50Speaker 7: you have not had a weather event while having their coverage,
- 10:54Speaker 7: they will not cover your old damage.
- 10:56Speaker 1: And then what happens You.
- 10:58Speaker 7: Have to go back to the company that you canceled
- 11:01Speaker 7: and say, hey, uh sorry. By the way, I know
- 11:03Speaker 7: I canceled you about four or five months ago, but
- 11:06Speaker 7: I got damage when I had you as my carrier,
- 11:09Speaker 7: and my current insurance company is telling me I have
- 11:11Speaker 7: to call you for that. Well, I don't know about you,
- 11:14Speaker 7: but that could be a slippery road and I wouldn't
- 11:17Speaker 7: want to go down that path. So do yourself a favor.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Have us come out check your roof, check your property,
- 11:23Speaker 7: especially if you're going to be switching carriers, or it's
- 11:26Speaker 7: even just as important before you renew your policy, because
- 11:29Speaker 7: more than likely your a deductible and your premium are
- 11:32Speaker 7: going to go up and your dwelling cost and that's
- 11:35Speaker 7: going to offset a lot of the stuff that you
- 11:37Speaker 7: could be saving money on if you have us come
- 11:39Speaker 7: out now.
- 11:40Speaker 1: So do that. Give Daniel Cook a call and let
- 11:43Speaker 1: them come help you to take care of that roof.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It is extremely important. Eight three three cook DFW eight
- 11:50Speaker 1: three three cook dfw or once again that website cookdfw
- 11:54Speaker 1: dot com.
- 12:07Speaker 8: You're in the treehouse, visit us online at Treehouse on

- 12:30Speaker 1: that is fairlease dot org. All right, before we move
- 12:35Speaker 1: into kids saying the meanest things from your own childhood
- 12:41Speaker 1: or even adulthood, what's a booger eating instance that stands
- 12:46Speaker 1: out in your mind?
- 12:48Speaker 2: I had a seventh grade math teacher who would eat
- 12:51Speaker 2: his boogers in class.
- 12:54Speaker 3: League.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yeah, just anabash that he would just get in there,
- 12:58Speaker 2: roll them around, and right in front of you, just uh,
- 13:01Speaker 2: just pop it in his mouth.
- 13:04Speaker 1: That's truly horrendous because I feel like most people know
- 13:09Speaker 1: that eating your boogers in public is frowned upon. But
- 13:13Speaker 1: I guess this guy either didn't know that or just
- 13:16Speaker 1: didn't give a damn.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I think it was an O. C. D tick, But
- 13:20Speaker 2: he didn't pretty pretty frequently. Yeah, he probably about ten
- 13:26Speaker 2: ten times during class at least.
- 13:30Speaker 3: He would.
- 13:31Speaker 2: He would get up in there and he'd look at
- 13:33Speaker 2: it and roll around in his fingers. He'd look at
- 13:35Speaker 2: it and then he'd just kind of stare and then
- 13:36Speaker 2: put in his mouth Misquite Public schools.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, okay, that actually tracks arer Trey. Any standout
- 13:48Speaker 1: bogger moments in your history?
- 13:51Speaker 3: No, not really.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I envy you. I have a couple. One is not
- 13:58Speaker 1: to pick on quarterbacks, but I still remember seeing South
- 14:02Speaker 1: Lake Zone Chase Daniel doing it on the sideline when
- 14:06Speaker 1: he was in college. So Chase Daniel quarterback at South
- 14:10Speaker 1: Lake Carol went on to have a successful career mostly
- 14:13Speaker 1: as a backup in the NFL. And before that he
- 14:16Speaker 1: was in college at Missouri Legend at Missouri right, and
- 14:19Speaker 1: there was a game in which on the sideline he's
- 14:22Speaker 1: digging in there and get some green gold and sucked
- 14:26Speaker 1: it on down the other one though, that always stands
- 14:29Speaker 1: out to me, and this one fascinates me to no
- 14:32Speaker 1: end because I still remember one time was riding in
- 14:35Speaker 1: the car with my dad and this was the old
- 14:38Speaker 1: early eighties green with the wood paneling Pontiac station wagon.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Nice.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I feel like I wanted to set the scene for
- 14:47Speaker 1: you guys when I relate this story to you, because
- 14:51Speaker 1: the car matched the book. So my dad gets in
- 14:55Speaker 1: there and you know, gets in there, and he's rooting
- 14:57Speaker 1: around and he gets one, and then I see him
- 14:59Speaker 1: rolling it and I look at it. I'm like, this
- 15:01Speaker 1: looks kind of hard. It's like it's weird looking. It
- 15:04Speaker 1: wasn't soft or squishy looking like most boggers are supposed
- 15:06Speaker 1: to be. I know, I'm getting very descriptive here, but
- 15:08Speaker 1: it's part of my story. So so then he did
- 15:12Speaker 1: what most normal people do after you pick a boger,
- 15:15Speaker 1: because let's be honest, picking booger's totally normal. They need
- 15:18Speaker 1: to come out eating them. Yeah, so what you're supposed
- 15:23Speaker 1: to do, and I think this is mostly accepted. You're
- 15:25Speaker 1: just not supposed to do it. You know in public
- 15:27Speaker 1: is you pick it and you flick it, right, Yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you pick it and you flick it. You can roll
- 15:33Speaker 1: it in between all you want, but you pick it,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you roll it, you flick it. You don't need it.
- 15:36Speaker 1: My dad did that. He picked it, he rolled it,
- 15:38Speaker 1: looked at it, and inspected it. Because I think he
- 15:40Speaker 1: too was surprised at its consistency. And then he flicked
- 15:43Speaker 1: it except when he was aiming for the crack in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the window that was open, he missed, and it goes
- 15:49Speaker 1: ping off of the window that is slightly rolled down.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So it confirmed what I visually thought, which was it
- 15:59Speaker 1: looks like a hard booger. Somehow he had picked a
- 16:02Speaker 1: petrified booger out of his nose and ping and flicked
- 16:05Speaker 1: it across the car and it hits the glass and uh,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and then it lived on the floorboard of that nineteen
- 16:10Speaker 1: eighties green Pontiac with a wood paneling.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Oh okay, I thought you would say, like he flicked it,
- 16:15Speaker 2: it hit the window and then blended in his mouth.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That would have been disgusting and also kind of cool.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Been awesome.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Disgusting, Yeah, because I mean, if we're being honest, if
- 16:27Speaker 1: you're going to be a booger eater, you might as
- 16:29Speaker 1: well do it with some style.
- 16:31Speaker 5: See, I just see it. We were telling that story.
- 16:33Speaker 5: I see you helmet on in the car for some reason.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It was shortly after he ran into the wood building.
- 16:40Speaker 9: Yeah, just him that Actually that actually fits because I
- 16:46Speaker 9: didn't start playing football until years after my parents split.
- 16:52Speaker 1: So my dad never would have picked me up from
- 16:54Speaker 1: football practice. So you're right. If I was in the
- 16:57Speaker 1: car with my dad with a helmet on, it wouldn't
- 16:59Speaker 1: because I was going to football practices, because I have
- 17:03Speaker 1: I was head injury probe.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Just this big giant pencil, and he's like, dear journal Dad,
- 17:09Speaker 2: just a hard bugger with the big pencil that says Danny.
- 17:15Speaker 2: The helmet said Danny too.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Well, I had to know it was mine.
- 17:21Speaker 2: From the other kid that had one.
- 17:26Speaker 1: All right, Okay, so kids say the meanest things, right,
- 17:32Speaker 1: kids say the meanest things. But these are the new
- 17:35Speaker 1: signs that your old edition of kids say the meanest things.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We're all of that age. Trey's already hit fifty, Raj.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You're on the verge of it, having celebrated your forty
- 17:44Speaker 1: ninth birthday just a couple of days ago. Happy birthday again.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And I'm getting up there as well. I'll, you know,
- 17:53Speaker 1: be part of the fifty club before I'm aware of it.
- 17:57Speaker 1: So I think if we were to all ask our
- 17:59Speaker 1: young younger selves at fifty, would you consider yourself or
- 18:03Speaker 1: anyone else old, we all would probably say yeah. Now
- 18:07Speaker 1: that we're in that age, range. We're all thinking not
- 18:11Speaker 1: a thing. So, I mean, we all kind of feel
- 18:13Speaker 1: old physically, but I think in our hearts and minds
- 18:18Speaker 1: we're still probably in our thirties. Ish.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Yeah, my brain tells me I'm twenty six. My body
- 18:23Speaker 2: disagrees with it all the time.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Yep. I would say, my body says you're every bit
- 18:30Speaker 1: of about to be forty five. But in my heart
- 18:34Speaker 1: and in my mind, I'm more like thirty four. Gotcha, tray,
- 18:41Speaker 1: what's your actual age versus the age you feel?
- 18:44Speaker 5: Yeah, bodies definitely fifty. Mind I would say mid twenties.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, same with mine. Well,
- 18:50Speaker 2: my body's like, my mind's like, hey, you can play
- 18:53Speaker 2: pickup basketball, and then my body goes, yeah, try that,
- 18:58Speaker 2: see what happened.
- 19:00Speaker 1: See that's why I feel thirty four because I'm not
- 19:02Speaker 1: about to go play some pick up basketball because I
- 19:05Speaker 1: know the only thing, only something bad, will come out
- 19:08Speaker 1: of me playing pickup basketball.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, my body goes, remember that time you were folding
- 19:12Speaker 2: laundry and you pulled a muscle in your back so
- 19:14Speaker 2: bad you were on the couch for two days. Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 2: go play, see what happened?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Go run around and jumping stuff. Yeah right, so kids
- 19:21Speaker 1: say the meanest things. You know, your old win edition.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So someone went to a bunch of kids and or
- 19:30Speaker 1: actually went to people that were told by kids that
- 19:33Speaker 1: they're old, and they relayed the story of how a
- 19:36Speaker 1: child told them they were old in new and embarrassing
- 19:39Speaker 1: ways that seem innocuous. So you're having an interaction with
- 19:43Speaker 1: a kid, you say or do something or reference something,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and because of it, the kid looks up at you
- 19:48Speaker 1: and says, oh, you're old. Here are some great examples.
- 19:52Speaker 1: A kid told someone they were old because they were
- 19:55Speaker 1: born in the nineteen hundreds, which technically is anyone over
- 19:59Speaker 1: the age of twenty four her. Now, when you say
- 20:02Speaker 1: the nineteen hundreds, that does sound old, But when you
- 20:05Speaker 1: realize that's just anyone over the age of twenty fourth,
- 20:07Speaker 1: that's not so bad. Other instances where kids were mean.
- 20:10Speaker 1: A teacher got called old because she told her students
- 20:13Speaker 1: she saw the original Shrek in a movie theater. Oh yeah, yep,
- 20:19Speaker 1: I saw in the theater. Number three, someone got called
- 20:23Speaker 1: Someone got called old by a kid because they used
- 20:26Speaker 1: to have VHS tapes, and then someone else got called
- 20:31Speaker 1: old because they knew what a DVD was.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 1: A kid called someone old because they still use CDs
- 20:39Speaker 1: in their car. Wow, it was a It was a
- 20:42Speaker 1: big moment in our house when my wife finally agreed
- 20:46Speaker 1: to let her CD collection go because she still had
- 20:50Speaker 1: her book.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Wow. Like the black go zip up with the.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Sleeves hers was hers was green?
- 20:59Speaker 2: Gotcha?
- 21:00Speaker 1: You had carrier?
- 21:02Speaker 2: My car stole has a SIXTISC CD changer.
- 21:06Speaker 3: But do you use it?
- 21:08Speaker 2: Uh?
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I do as a drink holder.
- 21:12Speaker 2: No, it's the it's in the glove box.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Oh okay, gotchay. Some other instances, some other instances of
- 21:19Speaker 1: a kid calling someone old. A parent said they found
- 21:21Speaker 1: out they were old when their daughter called them out
- 21:23Speaker 1: for still owning an iPod. A parent left someone a
- 21:27Speaker 1: voicemail and their kids said only old people leave voicemails.
- 21:33Speaker 1: A kid called someone old when they said YouTube didn't
- 21:35Speaker 1: used to have ads. So if you remember the magical
- 21:39Speaker 1: time before YouTube had ads, we're old. A guy's coworker
- 21:45Speaker 1: told him he was old after he tossed something in
- 21:47Speaker 1: the trash from a few feet away and yelled Kobe
- 21:50Speaker 1: when it went in. Uh yeah, I'm old enough that
- 21:54Speaker 1: when I did that, I yelled Jordan.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Oh, okay, wow, yeah, I.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Never did the Kobe thing. I was a Jordan kid.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I'm old enough to go skyhook Kareem.
- 22:07Speaker 1: That's what I did on my very first Nerve basketball.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I was practicing my Kareem skyhooks in my bedroom with
- 22:13Speaker 1: the with the Nerve Basketball goal hanging over my door.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I was awesome in there. I was undefeated in my bedroom.
- 22:19Speaker 2: That's right, that's right. Then you go Kareem a little skyhook.
- 22:25Speaker 3: That was awesome, undefeated playing against yourself.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I was. I wasn't gonna bring it up.
- 22:32Speaker 5: But you did, Trey in your band in your bedroom.
- 22:39Speaker 1: You tray.
- 22:42Speaker 2: That poor Nerf ball.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You're just an old head.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Danny keeps asking for Nerf every year. He says, there's soft.
- 22:58Speaker 1: You too, Rush. Thank you both, you old gembastards. And
- 23:05Speaker 1: that's all I have to say about that.

- 23:38Speaker 1: com I know that there are some obvious signs of
- 23:41Speaker 1: a water leak Jacqueline, but are there some more subtle
- 23:43Speaker 1: signs that someone needs to pay attention to in their home.
- 23:46Speaker 10: I had one lady who had mushrooms in her kitchen.
- 23:48Speaker 10: She had mushrooms growing around the baseboards of her cabinets.
- 23:53Speaker 10: I don't know how long this leak has been going on.
- 23:55Speaker 10: I was like I would venture a guest to say
- 23:57Speaker 10: quite some time. They were a minimum to to three
- 24:00Speaker 10: inches tall, these little mushrooms, And that was a one
- 24:03Speaker 10: time thing. I've been in this chair for seven years.
- 24:05Speaker 10: I've only seen mushrooms in somebody's house once. And if
- 24:10Speaker 10: your house is like that, and then a lot of
- 24:13Speaker 10: people are ashamed to have people in their in their
- 24:15Speaker 10: house because of the stage of the condition of their house.
- 24:18Speaker 10: We have when I tell you we've.
- 24:19Speaker 11: Seen everything, you do not have to vacuum before we
- 24:22Speaker 11: get there. And if you've we've been into many a
- 24:24Speaker 11: hoarder houses. That happens, and so we don't judge. So
- 24:28Speaker 11: we might find it interesting, and we might talk about
- 24:30Speaker 11: it a couple of years down the line, but we
- 24:32Speaker 11: we don't care because we want you to have a
- 24:34Speaker 11: good quality of life. So there's a little bit of
- 24:37Speaker 11: never feel embarrassed if you need a.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Plumber, including if you have mushrooms growing in your house,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I recommend not.
- 24:43Speaker 11: The edible kind like hers. It's not like she had
- 24:45Speaker 11: a habit and she was growing them for fun. Like
- 24:47Speaker 11: in the closet. This was like coming up out of
- 24:50Speaker 11: the ground inside it.
- 24:51Speaker 1: These are these are These are the bad rooms, not
- 24:53Speaker 1: the fun trooms. If you've got the bad rooms, you
- 24:55Speaker 1: call Jacqueline fun trooms. I'll let you work that out

- 25:42Speaker 1: as well. Check out the website It is cookdfw dot com.
- 25:45Speaker 1: That's cook dfw dot com and just one more time
- 25:51Speaker 1: for good measure. You, Trey gu Roj all right, good, alright, cool,
- 25:59Speaker 1: if either of you we're just stupid, stupid rich. Would
- 26:09Speaker 1: you ever own a sky mansion?
- 26:13Speaker 2: What is a sky mansion?
- 26:16Speaker 1: I am glad you asked. I'm gonna tell you. Rich
- 26:19Speaker 1: people are now building mansions on top of skyscrapers. I
- 26:24Speaker 1: don't know if sky mansions the official term. That's just
- 26:27Speaker 1: what I'm calling it. But it's not just your typical
- 26:31Speaker 1: penthouse apartment type of thing. This isn't like, you know,
- 26:33Speaker 1: Trump getting the penthouse at Trump Tower. This isn't Tony
- 26:37Speaker 1: Stark getting the penthouse out Avengers Tower. This is an
- 26:41Speaker 1: honest to god mansion looking house on top of a building,
- 26:47Speaker 1: on top of a skyscraper. So it doesn't match, but
- 26:52Speaker 1: there are rich people that are doing this. There's a
- 26:55Speaker 1: photo that's gone viral of a sprawling mansion sitting on
- 27:00Speaker 1: top of a thirty three story building in India. You
- 27:04Speaker 1: show this to you guys real quick, So there it is.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It looks like artificial intelligence, but it's not. This is
- 27:12Speaker 1: a real photo. That's a building in India. It's very
- 27:14Speaker 1: nice modern building with glass and stuff. And then at
- 27:16Speaker 1: the top, it just looks like a huge platform on
- 27:19Speaker 1: top of it, And on top of that platform is
- 27:21Speaker 1: a huge mansion. And it's got a pool, it's got
- 27:24Speaker 1: a nice garden yard area, and it's one two, three stories.
- 27:28Speaker 1: And if it looks familiar, it's because it is intentionally
- 27:31Speaker 1: designed to look like the White House in Washington, DC.
- 27:37Speaker 1: The man who built it started construction more than a
- 27:40Speaker 1: decade ago. It's reportedly cost over twenty million dollars, which,
- 27:45Speaker 1: if I'm being honest, seems kind of reasonable when you
- 27:47Speaker 1: look at the photo and the construction. You know, constraints
- 27:51Speaker 1: on top of the building that high up. Anyway, there's more.
- 27:57Speaker 1: A reporter called it an extreme example of a trend
- 28:00Speaker 1: that's been picking up steam. The world's wealthiest people are
- 28:02Speaker 1: bored with their normal penthouses and want something more impressive. Now,
- 28:07Speaker 1: in this guy's situation, the guy that owns this particular
- 28:10Speaker 1: sky mansion, he may never get to live in it
- 28:12Speaker 1: because he fled India in twenty sixteen after he was
- 28:15Speaker 1: accused of fraud money laundering. His name is VJ. Malaya,
- 28:21Speaker 1: and if he ever goes back, they will throw him
- 28:23Speaker 1: in jail. He's the former chairman of United spirits, one
- 28:25Speaker 1: of the largest liquor companies in the world.
- 28:29Speaker 2: King Fisher Beer.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Oh, is that one of their products?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yes, it's Vijmalia. He has one of the greatest stories ever.
- 28:38Speaker 2: He I'm sure you guys heard the story about the
- 28:40Speaker 2: guy who walks. This Indian guy walks into a bank
- 28:42Speaker 2: in New York and asks for a loan for two
- 28:44Speaker 2: hundred and fifty dollars. He asked for a loan for
- 28:48Speaker 2: twenty five hundred dollars.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Sorry, five, I'm from the raj I'm from Texas. The
- 28:52Speaker 1: version of this joke I've heard, I wouldn't ever want
- 28:54Speaker 1: to repeat.
- 28:54Speaker 2: No, he walks into a bank and asks for a
- 28:56Speaker 2: loan for twenty five hundred dollars, and he says, I
- 28:58Speaker 2: have my ferrari for collateral, and they're like sure, And
- 29:04Speaker 2: he's like, just can you I'll pull it up. I mean,
- 29:06Speaker 2: if you'll put it in the safe, you can have
- 29:09Speaker 2: my for collateral. I'll be I'm going out of the
- 29:11Speaker 2: country for two weeks. When I come back, I'll pay
- 29:13Speaker 2: the loan back. And they're like sure. Comes back after
- 29:19Speaker 2: two weeks and his interest on the loan is two
- 29:21Speaker 2: hundred and fifty dollars so he pays the give the
- 29:23Speaker 2: twenty five hundred dollars back plus the two hundred and
- 29:25Speaker 2: fifty dollars, and they're like, we looked you up. You're
- 29:27Speaker 2: the owner of King Fisher Beer or Vijmalia. Why would
- 29:30Speaker 2: you need a loan for two hundred for twenty five
- 29:33Speaker 2: hundred dollars? He goes, I didn't, But where can you
- 29:35Speaker 2: park a ferrari in New York for two hundred and
- 29:36Speaker 2: fifty dollars for two weeks?
- 29:39Speaker 3: I always thought that was just like made up tail.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Nope, that's Jim Mollia. That's his claim to fame besides
- 29:47Speaker 2: fraud and money laundry.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes success goes to people's brains. Yeah so yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 1: So he's not the only one that is going forward
- 30:00Speaker 1: with this sky mansion trend. There are some other examples.
- 30:04Speaker 1: There's a sky penthouse which is located atop the tour
- 30:09Speaker 1: Odeon de Monte Carlo, created by an architect and an
- 30:12Speaker 1: interior designer with designer with fancy names. Considered to be
- 30:16Speaker 1: one of the most expensive private residences in the world.
- 30:20Speaker 1: They has to make the value here at four hundred
- 30:22Speaker 1: million dollars. The sky, Yeah, the sky is what it's
- 30:26Speaker 1: called a rare, extremely luxurious five story penthouse mansion. Imagine
- 30:32Speaker 1: a Mediterranean villa plopped down on top of a five
- 30:36Speaker 1: hundred and twenty foot tall building, an ode to uninhibited
- 30:39Speaker 1: opulence that to some is a showing of impeccable taste
- 30:43Speaker 1: and revolutionary architectural concept.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Four hundred million dollars. I could, I'd come up with
- 30:52Speaker 2: better things to do.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm kind of withy on that one.
- 30:59Speaker 2: In India, I could, I would do. I could see that.
- 31:01Speaker 2: I just don't know, like, how do you Is there
- 31:03Speaker 2: an elevator that goes to the regular building that you
- 31:06Speaker 2: can go down, up and down, Like, I don't see
- 31:08Speaker 2: how he.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Well, there's that. But also, when you have a home
- 31:11Speaker 1: mat size on top of a skyscraper, you have your
- 31:14Speaker 1: own helipad.
- 31:16Speaker 2: So if you wanted to go to the grocery store,
- 31:18Speaker 2: you have to take your helicopter every time.
- 31:20Speaker 1: You're not going to the grocery store. If you have
- 31:21Speaker 1: that house.
- 31:23Speaker 5: I'm assuming they start they plan this when they're doing
- 31:25Speaker 5: construction on the building.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 31:27Speaker 5: If not, I guess you could take an elevator to
- 31:29Speaker 5: the top floor and then they could build a secondary
- 31:32Speaker 5: elevator to your sky mansion.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean it.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Seems like something like.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Surprised, Like Dubai, it seems like this would be something
- 31:42Speaker 5: that you know someone would be doing there.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I agree, and maybe they are, we just don't know
- 31:46Speaker 1: it yet. Like what's the uh, what's the the tallest
- 31:49Speaker 1: building in Dubai. What's it called the Borch Khalifa that. Yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 1: I'm surprised someone doesn't have a house on top of
- 31:55Speaker 1: that thing yet.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I would vomit every single time I woke up every day,
- 31:59Speaker 2: I would vomit it and pass out. And then that's
- 32:01Speaker 2: that's where I lived there. I don't move from the
- 32:04Speaker 2: floor because I don't want to see the outside. I
- 32:06Speaker 2: was in Dubai and they were like, do you want
- 32:08Speaker 2: to go to the observation deck And I was like, nah,
- 32:10Speaker 2: I'm good. No.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I got woozy when we went years ago, Trey and
- 32:15Speaker 1: I were there for a radio thing we got. I
- 32:17Speaker 1: got woozy when they said step out. We're at the
- 32:21Speaker 1: W hotel in Dallas. This is still when it was
- 32:23Speaker 1: still pretty new, and it added that clear walk out thing,
- 32:30Speaker 1: the sea through floor, and I was like hell no,
- 32:32Speaker 1: and I certainly wasn't about to go step on it.
- 32:34Speaker 1: After our six hundred pound friend Stacy had just stepped
- 32:37Speaker 1: on it.
- 32:38Speaker 2: No, and that's the same thing with like the Grand
- 32:40Speaker 2: Canyon thing where you can go out and walk. No,
- 32:42Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm good. I'll marvel at its wonder from
- 32:46Speaker 2: the solid part of the earth.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I have a hard time watching those videos on Instagram. Yeah,
- 32:52Speaker 1: so I can't even fathom what it would be like
- 32:54Speaker 1: in real life.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I watched when The Dark Knight came out. I saw
- 32:58Speaker 2: it in IMAX, and it's the opening scene where it
- 33:00Speaker 2: goes over got like over New York, over got them
- 33:03Speaker 2: city and it's like thirty seconds long, which is going
- 33:06Speaker 2: through the whole city. And I was like, like I
- 33:08Speaker 2: could like that was it's like you would eating boogers.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I was like, hey, I'm with you.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I can't do it.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Man.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Not only am I motion sick, but I'm also afraid
- 33:18Speaker 1: of the height.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Yeah, like I mean it's a movie. I'm like, it
- 33:22Speaker 2: doesn't matter. This brain doesn't think logically when it comes
- 33:25Speaker 2: to heights.
- 33:26Speaker 3: No, oh, there's this is a good versus free all.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Oh there's no, there's no overse.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Eating boogers versus you know, an observation deck over like
- 33:36Speaker 5: the Grand Canyon.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Bowl of boogers, Buddy, let's go give me a spoon.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Can I Can I dress the boogers up at all?
- 33:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 33:48Speaker 2: Can I put them in some frosted flakes?
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah? Like for some textures, they're great.

- 34:23Speaker 12: If you thought twenty twenty four couldn't get any scarier,

- 35:23Speaker 1: For any and all of your plumbing ONTs and needs.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Check out Brooks Plumbing who brought to you? Uh who
- 35:29Speaker 1: brought you that previous segment Brooks Plumbing two one four,
- 35:32Speaker 1: three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. For any and
- 35:34Speaker 1: all of your plumbing once and needs is called Jacqueline
- 35:37Speaker 1: two one four, three six eight thirty eight thirty eight
- 35:39Speaker 1: or the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Once again,
- 35:43Speaker 1: that is Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Yeah, I'm not
- 35:47Speaker 1: sure what it is about the heights. When I was
- 35:51Speaker 1: a kid, I was fine going with riding roller coasters
- 35:55Speaker 1: and things. Uh, but I think it was around the
- 35:57Speaker 1: time I turned thirty I got really hyper aware of
- 36:01Speaker 1: my surroundings and my eventual death, and I didn't want
- 36:05Speaker 1: to do anything to speed up that death process. So, like,
- 36:09Speaker 1: I remember the last roller coaster I was on, I
- 36:11Speaker 1: think I was around thirty, and I was like, I
- 36:12Speaker 1: can't do this, Yeah, I can't do this ever again.
- 36:15Speaker 1: And all of a sudden, I was just kind of
- 36:17Speaker 1: mortified about heights.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I did the Texas Star with my dad when
- 36:21Speaker 2: I was like fourteen. But now I look at it,
- 36:25Speaker 2: I'm like that, you're insane, Like that wouldn't I could
- 36:27Speaker 2: never do that again. And I was like my like
- 36:30Speaker 2: early twenties is when I was out. But every time
- 36:35Speaker 2: I fly, I prefer a window seat and look out
- 36:37Speaker 2: the window.
- 36:39Speaker 1: See, that's something I can't reconcile with either. So like
- 36:42Speaker 1: when we went to Washington a couple of months ago,
- 36:45Speaker 1: you know, we're flying back and I had the window
- 36:48Speaker 1: seat on this particular leg of the trip, and so
- 36:50Speaker 1: I'm getting video and stuff because we're flying right around
- 36:53Speaker 1: over the top of Mount Rainier. It's very cool, very pretty,
- 36:56Speaker 1: and I have no problem doing the video of that.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I don't know why, but if I was sitting on
- 37:00Speaker 1: top of the very tippy top of Mount ran here,
- 37:02Speaker 1: I pass out just from extreme anxiety and just whatever
- 37:06Speaker 1: overcomes you physically and emotionally when you're at an extreme height.
- 37:10Speaker 1: But I'm fine to look at it from an airplane.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Yeah, this one like years ago with my parents' house,
- 37:16Speaker 2: Like can you go? But I used to do it
- 37:18Speaker 2: all the time when I was a kid. Can you
- 37:19Speaker 2: go put the Christmas lights up on the roof. And
- 37:22Speaker 2: I would climb up on the roof and I would
- 37:23Speaker 2: get to the very edge and I would click, you know,
- 37:25Speaker 2: clip the little lights all the way around. I was like,
- 37:28Speaker 2: can we pay somebody? I will, I will. I will
- 37:31Speaker 2: give somebody money to do this. And my Mom's like,
- 37:33Speaker 2: I used to do this all the time when you
- 37:34Speaker 2: were kid, and like things have changed. I will.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I will pay as a kid. If I fall off
- 37:38Speaker 1: the roof, I'll bounce back.
- 37:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Well, if I fall off the roof, I'm dead.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Yeah, or the anxiety is so much, I'm like, well,
- 37:46Speaker 2: I live up here now, so I'm I'm roof I'm
- 37:49Speaker 2: roof boy. That's that's who you. That's the claim to fame.
- 37:52Speaker 2: My parents will have like, oh go look at we
- 37:55Speaker 2: charged two dollars. There's a roof boy.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Well, your nickname is better than mine, because apparently mine's
- 37:59Speaker 1: nerf boy.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Yes, poor nurse ball.
- 38:05Speaker 1: It's been. It's been places see things.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I don't like ya, y'all don't like that video.
- 38:12Speaker 5: Like there's a video of a guy looks like he's
- 38:16Speaker 5: climbed to the top of like working on a radio tower,
- 38:18Speaker 5: very high up and the best way down is to
- 38:20Speaker 5: parachute down.
- 38:21Speaker 2: No, he better make he better make five billion dollars
- 38:27Speaker 2: a year for that job.
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's what that's that guy deserves Elon Musk money.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Yes, that's correct.
- 38:34Speaker 1: That the guy who's putting in real work.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah, if you have to, if you have to parachute
- 38:38Speaker 2: after screwing in a ball on a radio tower, million
- 38:41Speaker 2: dollars a year, that's.
- 38:42Speaker 3: What you get.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Because I'm fine with that. I'm fine as a taxpayer
- 38:46Speaker 1: to help subsidize that.
- 38:47Speaker 2: There you go, Yeah, that's where my Yeah, I'll send
- 38:50Speaker 2: my money there.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I will. I will tip my hat to U,
- 38:54Speaker 1: sir and say thank you very much. All right, So,
- 38:56Speaker 1: speaking of things that are terrifying, and Trey, you gave
- 39:01Speaker 1: me and Raj a versus an on the fly versus
- 39:04Speaker 1: option of what was it again? A bow full of
- 39:07Speaker 1: boogers and what?
- 39:08Speaker 3: Or an option like the observation deck over the Grand Canyon.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm thinking I'm with Raj. Man, give me the
- 39:15Speaker 1: give me the part of this complete disgusting breakfast of
- 39:20Speaker 1: bowl of boogers. But yesterday, yesterday, I gave you guys
- 39:25Speaker 1: a Halloween edition of Verses. That's where I showed you
- 39:30Speaker 1: a stairwell and gave you the scenario. You're on the
- 39:34Speaker 1: middle landing of a stairwell. If you want to escape
- 39:38Speaker 1: down the stairs, you have to go through Jason Vortis.
- 39:41Speaker 1: If you want to escape upstairs, you have to go
- 39:45Speaker 1: through Michael Myers. Well, I've got a new version of
- 39:48Speaker 1: that game for you both today. Okay, are you ready?
- 39:53Speaker 3: Yep?
- 39:54Speaker 1: Okay, let me get the right stuff going here. Here
- 40:02Speaker 1: we are inside the Treehouse, another Halloween edition of verses.
- 40:09Speaker 1: You gentlemen, are stuck on the middle landing of a
- 40:12Speaker 1: dark stairwell. On the stairs above you is hang On,
- 40:26Speaker 1: Hang On, Freddy Krueger. On the stairs below you is
- 40:33Speaker 1: penny Wise, the clown from Stephen King's It. If you
- 40:37Speaker 1: want to escape, you have to either go upstairs through
- 40:40Speaker 1: Freddy Krueger or downstairs through Pennywise the clown. Which direction
- 40:46Speaker 1: are you going?
- 40:49Speaker 2: Well? If I see Freddy Krueger, that means I'm sleeping,
- 40:54Speaker 2: So all I would have to do is wake myself up,
- 40:57Speaker 2: and then he would be gone, and I could go
- 40:58Speaker 2: up the stairs, uh and he would not be there,
- 41:03Speaker 2: So I would I would choose the I would choose
- 41:06Speaker 2: the sweater wear.
- 41:08Speaker 1: The sweater in the fedora, Yes, got you, all right,
- 41:12Speaker 1: I'll take the victim, hunt the burn victory, okay, right,
- 41:16Speaker 1: because he might be a little slower to chase you down, Yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 1: because it hurts.
- 41:21Speaker 3: All right?
- 41:22Speaker 1: Then in that case, Trey, let's hand it over to you.
- 41:24Speaker 1: You're stuck on the middle landing. You need to escape,
- 41:26Speaker 1: and you only have two options. Up through Freddy Krueger
- 41:29Speaker 1: or down through penny Wise, the clown. Which direction are
- 41:33Speaker 1: you gonna go?
- 41:34Speaker 5: I believe at one point Freddy crossed over the threshold
- 41:36Speaker 5: of sleep into real life, and uh, Freddy will be
- 41:40Speaker 5: the number one all time. Scares the piss out of me,
- 41:43Speaker 5: So I'm going down. I'll take my chances running over Pennywise.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Really, I had no idea you were that afraid of
- 41:49Speaker 1: fedoras and sweaters.
- 41:52Speaker 3: You ever see me a hat?
- 41:56Speaker 1: I've rarely seen you in a hat, never in a fidora,
- 41:59Speaker 1: and I know for a fact I've never seen you
- 42:01Speaker 1: in horizontal stripes.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I want to buy him a fedora now.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Well, I'm just glad you don't want to throw him
- 42:09Speaker 1: in an oven.
- 42:10Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah, I didn't know that he had crossed
- 42:13Speaker 2: over into the land of the living.
- 42:15Speaker 1: So if you were to put this back on me,
- 42:18Speaker 1: I too, Raj. I am actually gonna go up the
- 42:21Speaker 1: stairs and make my attempt through Freddy Krueger, because I remember,
- 42:27Speaker 1: if I have the correct film, I believe it was
- 42:31Speaker 1: Nightmare on Elm Street three, and that's when they are
- 42:34Speaker 1: able to kick the everlove and crap out of Freddy
- 42:37Speaker 1: a bunch, And that one gave me hope. Also, if
- 42:41Speaker 1: I happened to lose, Freddy's just gonna slice and dice
- 42:45Speaker 1: me with his nasty knive hands, right yes, whereas penny
- 42:49Speaker 1: Wise can morph into some really treacherous things and eat
- 42:52Speaker 1: you with rows of teeth and things, and it's just awful,
- 42:54Speaker 1: and then he's gonna eat you afterwards. So I think,
- 42:57Speaker 1: I think I'm also gonna go up the stairs and
- 42:59Speaker 1: take on the Fedora sweater man.
- 43:01Speaker 2: But but can't you just like distract penny Wise with
- 43:04Speaker 2: like a red balloon? He just like walk past him,
- 43:06Speaker 2: hand him one, and he's like, oh, shiny red balloon.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I don't think that distracts him. I think that's just
- 43:12Speaker 1: more how you know he's around, gotcha?
- 43:15Speaker 3: Okay?
- 43:15Speaker 2: I thought that I thought I could hand him one
- 43:17Speaker 2: and he'd be so mesmerized by it. I could slip
- 43:19Speaker 2: by him. So I'm gonna stand out.
- 43:20Speaker 1: If you had a child with you, you could distract
- 43:23Speaker 1: him that way, throw the child at him.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I would definitely do that. That's what that's what they're
- 43:28Speaker 2: there for.
- 43:30Speaker 1: If not a human shield, then at least a decoy.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Yeah. I just kind of throw him at penny Wise
- 43:36Speaker 2: and like he's yours now and yeah, but he's like,
- 43:41Speaker 2: but I'm eight. I'm like, yeah, but you know, I
- 43:44Speaker 2: can get over that. I've only known you eight years,
- 43:46Speaker 2: You've only you've only been talking for six of those,
- 43:49Speaker 2: so we really don't have a lot of conversation.
- 43:51Speaker 1: So and I'm tired. I want to go to sleep,
- 43:55Speaker 1: and I can't go to sleep if Freddy's running around.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, so I again, I I'm just gonna go
- 44:00Speaker 2: back to the nightmare and Elville Street one and two
- 44:02Speaker 2: where you just wake up and he's gone.
- 44:05Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 2: So I would wake myself up and then penny Wise
- 44:07Speaker 2: would still be there, Freddy would be up there, and
- 44:09Speaker 2: I just run up the stairs. I don't know where.
- 44:11Speaker 2: I don't know where you go from there, because at
- 44:13Speaker 2: some point you have to come down.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Maybe that's where you got the the parachute on your
- 44:18Speaker 1: back because you're one of those guys that does the
- 44:19Speaker 1: light bulbs on top of radio towers.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Oh, then we're dead.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It's a tough reality, isn't it.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Yeah, sad, but that's where I die.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Now.

- 45:22Speaker 1: All right, did anyone have Arnold Palmer's genitals on their
- 45:26Speaker 1: presidential election bingo card? Uh?
- 45:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with no.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't either, Trey not on your bingo card. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: it wasn't on mine either, But that's uh. You know,
- 45:41Speaker 1: presidential elections just they're different nowadays. They're not They're not
- 45:47Speaker 1: the uh, the civilized years of do Caucus and uh
- 45:55Speaker 1: and quail and idle. Look, things are weird in the
- 45:59Speaker 1: twenty four century when it comes to politics, especially at
- 46:02Speaker 1: the national federal level, when it comes to presidential politics.
- 46:06Speaker 1: And well, you know, Trump is really good. I just
- 46:11Speaker 1: kind of talking off the top of his head and
- 46:13Speaker 1: saying random things that don't seem to have any relation
- 46:16Speaker 1: to policy whatsoever. But we get little nuggets like this.
- 46:22Speaker 14: But Arnold Palmer was all man, can I say that
- 46:24Speaker 14: at all do respect to women?
- 46:26Speaker 2: And I love women?
- 46:28Speaker 13: But this guy, this.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Guy, I was creepy when he says I love women.
- 46:35Speaker 2: It's just so embarrassing.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Anyway, this is at a campaign stop in La Trope, Pennsylvania.
- 46:41Speaker 1: President Trump, just a handful of days ago, for whatever reason,
- 46:45Speaker 1: brings up Arnold Palmer in the middle of his stump speech.
- 46:48Speaker 14: But Arnold Palmer was all man, when I say that,
- 46:51Speaker 14: at all do respect to women, and I love women.
- 46:55Speaker 14: But this guy, this guy, this is a guy that
- 47:01Speaker 14: was all man.
- 47:03Speaker 13: His man was strong and tough.
- 47:06Speaker 14: And I refused to say it.
- 47:08Speaker 4: But when he took.
- 47:10Speaker 14: Showers with the other pros they came out of there
- 47:13Speaker 14: they said, oh my god, that's unbelievable.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I had to say it. No, No, you didn't sophisticated him.
- 47:25Speaker 1: I really did not need to know that Arnold Palmer
- 47:29Speaker 1: could reach the green and won.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just a.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Why Okay, look, if you want to share some fun
- 47:39Speaker 1: stories to a podcast, but really, the only way I
- 47:44Speaker 1: care about Arnold Palmer's name or genitals coming up in
- 47:47Speaker 1: the middle of a presidential election cycle is if you're
- 47:52Speaker 1: telling me that your tax cuts are going to be
- 47:55Speaker 1: bigger than Arnold Palmer's, then then you've got my attention. Otherwise,
- 48:00Speaker 1: I don't need to know about Arnold Palmer's genitals.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't need to know that that he wasn't
- 48:06Speaker 2: using a putter, just whipped out his junk and it
- 48:11Speaker 2: was like there we go.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Uh, let the big dog eat.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just uh, that's just I mean, it's just
- 48:17Speaker 2: so bizarre.
- 48:18Speaker 5: Like I just wish you'd keep it presidential and you
- 48:21Speaker 5: can just reference LBJ.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, go back to another Republican that's.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Actually a Democrat. Was h No, I think you're right.
- 48:32Speaker 1: If you're going to talk about, you know, presidential slits, say,
- 48:35Speaker 1: we got to start with the one that we know
- 48:36Speaker 1: the most that I think Johnson is actually named for
- 48:40Speaker 1: the Johnson and that is LBJ, the King of.
- 48:43Speaker 2: The Yeah, that's uh yeah, just I mean.
- 48:48Speaker 1: He actually it was actually forgive the pun, but uh
- 48:53Speaker 1: LBJ was actually inserted into you know, now not just
- 49:01Speaker 1: political stuff, but it's the word I'm trying to think of, Trey.
- 49:06Speaker 1: When you receive heads of state in the White House
- 49:10Speaker 1: and you're supposed to entertain them like state dinners and things.
- 49:13Speaker 3: It was its own diplomat.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Yes, Lbj's had its own diplomatic community.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Had its own embassy.
- 49:25Speaker 1: I think there was actually a story. I don't know
- 49:26Speaker 1: who it was, but LBJ would actually, you know, try
- 49:29Speaker 1: to intimidate reporters and things. But I think he would
- 49:32Speaker 1: also use his to intimidate other heads of state, like
- 49:35Speaker 1: he would invite them to go skinny dipping in the pool.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Well he would famously in the Oval office, he would
- 49:42Speaker 5: not shut the door in the bathroom so everyone could
- 49:46Speaker 5: see him in all his glory while he was peeing.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Now did he ever do that while he was going
- 49:55Speaker 1: number two? Or to just standing to go number one
- 50:00Speaker 1: and showing it you could still take a drink while
- 50:02Speaker 1: he stood.
- 50:03Speaker 3: He was a remarkably crude man.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Yes, yes, if you listen to any of the tapes.
- 50:08Speaker 2: He was. He was very much so. But yeah, so yeah,
- 50:14Speaker 2: that's just yeah, it's like it's like the is that
- 50:17Speaker 2: an embassy in your panther? You're just happy to see me.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I think had he actually run, uh, you know, for
- 50:24Speaker 1: for re election, it really just would have been you know, Johnson.
- 50:27Speaker 2: And Johnson, that's a vote I could get behind.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Be careful though, Yeah, you're listening to the Treehouse.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Visit is online that Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Actually behind it might be the safest place to be.
- 50:50Speaker 13: Yep, that's what I was saying.
- 51:09Speaker 4: You're in the Treehouse.
- 51:11Speaker 8: Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Like Aaron said, be sure to check out Treehouse on
- 51:20Speaker 1: Air dot com for all things Treehouse, go to Treehouse
- 51:23Speaker 1: on air dot com. We appreciate it. I know it's
- 51:27Speaker 1: hard to follow Lbjay's schlong, but we're gonna try to
- 51:30Speaker 1: do that here in the Treehouse. We're gonna do that
- 51:33Speaker 1: by visiting our brothers to the north. And what I
- 51:37Speaker 1: mean by that is we're gonna go to Oklahoma, and
- 51:41Speaker 1: specifically we're gonna go to Tulsa and I'm gonna ask
- 51:44Speaker 1: you guys a question here. Then I'm planning on asking
- 51:48Speaker 1: the same question to our brothers here in the Treehouse
- 51:52Speaker 1: network from offeat the light side of law enforcement, actual
- 51:57Speaker 1: police officers. But I'll start with you trade. If you
- 52:04Speaker 1: were a cop, would you rather be shot at? Not
- 52:08Speaker 1: shot just shot at? If you were a cop, would
- 52:11Speaker 1: you rather be shot at or interact with this type
- 52:15Speaker 1: of person? Early last Thursday, a pursuit let officers of
- 52:20Speaker 1: the Tulsa Police Department to arrest a man clutching a python.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Pretty sure they mean a snake, not a python weapon
- 52:29Speaker 1: or you know, double on tondo for them. According to TPD,
- 52:33Speaker 1: officers saw a white Acura near Archer and North Sheridan
- 52:37Speaker 1: in motion with headlights around four forty am. Officers pulled
- 52:40Speaker 1: the car over and spoke to the driver, who police
- 52:41Speaker 1: say refused to provide them with his identification or insurance,
- 52:47Speaker 1: saying the suspect did not claim to be a sovereign citizen,
- 52:53Speaker 1: he did continue to use terms commonly associated with the group.
- 52:57Speaker 1: He reportedly told officers he was traveling and he did
- 53:00Speaker 1: not have a license. He also said driving without a
- 53:03Speaker 1: headlight is not a crime. After about twenty minutes of
- 53:09Speaker 1: discussing with him, he was informed that he was under arrest.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Then he drove off tried to escape, leading police on
- 53:18Speaker 1: a short chase to a nearby home. He bailed out
- 53:21Speaker 1: of his car and tried running away from the officers
- 53:24Speaker 1: while holding the snake. Eventually, police wrestled him down to
- 53:27Speaker 1: the ground and arrested him. Raj, are you familiar with
- 53:31Speaker 1: sovereign citizens? No, They truly are some of the worst
- 53:36Speaker 1: type of people that walked the United States. Because these
- 53:42Speaker 1: people exist in other countries, I don't know if I've
- 53:44Speaker 1: ever heard of a sovereign citizen type in Canada you
- 53:46Speaker 1: share use Hell, don't hear about him in Russia or
- 53:48Speaker 1: China for obvious reasons. These are the people, and Trey,
- 53:51Speaker 1: please help me with this, because it's been a while
- 53:53Speaker 1: since I've dug too far deep into this sovereign citizen wormhole.
- 53:58Speaker 1: They feel like modern laws do not apply to them,
- 54:02Speaker 1: and that includes drivers, licenses, registrations, inspections, and all that stuff,
- 54:07Speaker 1: because they feel like just driving anywhere in a car,
- 54:10Speaker 1: it's their right to just travel as they see fit
- 54:13Speaker 1: without any encumbrances or registrations or restrictions.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Gotcha so pretty.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Much that and they believe for the most part that uh,
- 54:24Speaker 5: the government is not above them, and they can they
- 54:27Speaker 5: can do as they please, and everything has to be
- 54:30Speaker 5: its basically goes back to a common law and for
- 54:33Speaker 5: you know, you to get a traffic take everything, you know,
- 54:35Speaker 5: it has to be an aggrieved party and an injured party.
- 54:39Speaker 5: They challenge the sovereignty of the courts and the jurisdiction
- 54:42Speaker 5: of the courts.
- 54:43Speaker 3: It's a bunch of bill.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you could just say white dudes. You could just
- 54:47Speaker 2: say white dudes with warrants.
- 54:49Speaker 5: Oh no, no, this is this is not a whites
- 54:54Speaker 5: only situation.
- 54:55Speaker 1: This is one of those that everywhere, Yeah, it's everywhere.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Sovereign citizens are pretty militant. It might be a toss
- 55:07Speaker 1: up between who's more militant, a sovereign citizen or a vegan.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Oh wow, okay.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so that tells you the severity of the sovereign
- 55:18Speaker 1: citizen situation.
- 55:19Speaker 5: Yea, my favorite judge because they reference sovereign citizens love
- 55:23Speaker 5: to do this traveling thing where they're not operating vehicle commercially,
- 55:27Speaker 5: so they're just traveling and traveling is permitted by the
- 55:29Speaker 5: Supreme Court in this son. And there's one judges in Texas.
- 55:32Speaker 5: I don't know where I want to say around Houston.
- 55:34Speaker 5: But he goes, yeah, you're right. You're free to travel.
- 55:36Speaker 5: You can walk your happy ass anywhere you want to go,
- 55:39Speaker 5: you just can't drive a car, right, Yeah.
- 55:41Speaker 1: And that's how that's how Texas courts handled and in
- 55:44Speaker 1: this case in Tulsa with the police officers, they had
- 55:47Speaker 1: to tell this particular sovereign citizen want to be that
- 55:50Speaker 1: while he might be free to travel by foot anywhere
- 55:53Speaker 1: he wants to go, he's sure as hell can't drive
- 55:56Speaker 1: that way, and you share his hell can't drive with
- 55:58Speaker 1: what they found to be ninety two grams of fentanyl
- 56:01Speaker 1: marijuana products in close to five thousand dollars in cash

- 56:24Speaker 13: That's right.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I forgot about the snake too. I don't even know.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I don't even know if it's legal in Oklahoma to
- 56:29Speaker 1: have pythons.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Of course it is, it's Oklahoma.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Uh.
- 56:33Speaker 2: You can't have a you can't have a full percentage beer,
- 56:37Speaker 2: but you can have a snake in fentanyl. I think
- 56:40Speaker 2: that's I think that's this state flag is just fentanyl
- 56:43Speaker 2: and a snake.
- 56:46Speaker 1: The sovereign citizen was arrested by Tulsa PD four eluding
- 56:52Speaker 1: trafficking fentanyl, drug possession. And this is an after former
- 56:56Speaker 1: conviction of a felony obstruction, resisting arrest, operate a vehicle
- 57:00Speaker 1: with no headlights, no driver's license, and no insurance.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Uh.
- 57:03Speaker 1: The Tulsa Police also did say the snake was released
- 57:06Speaker 1: to a friend and was not physically injured. Unfortunately, we
- 57:11Speaker 1: cannot determine what mental anguish the snake has endured through
- 57:13Speaker 1: this process. Has there sense of humor?
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yeah, the mental health of the snake is being evaluated.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I like it to protect and serve, but also to care.
- 57:37Speaker 1: I don't.
- 57:37Speaker 13: Uh.
