Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, what's up everybody?
- 0:01Speaker 2: Matt be with from Ashes to New You're listening to
- 0:04Speaker 2: Heavy and we're gonna be playing Good Things in Australia.
- 0:07Speaker 3: That you are my friend. Thanks for joining us today, Matt.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Yeah, man, thanks for having me my pleasure.
- 0:13Speaker 4: So from Ashes you are headed to Australia very soon
- 0:16Speaker 4: as part of Good Things twenty four Mat, So are
- 0:18Speaker 4: you packed and ready to go?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Are you more of a last minute sort of a guy?
- 0:22Speaker 2: I'm the last minute guy. I don't think I'm bringing much.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I think that I'm gonna pack more. I'm gonna pack gear.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna pack like like sound gear, like you know,
- 0:32Speaker 2: posters and stuff like in my luggage. I'm gonna bring
- 0:34Speaker 2: like just enough for the two weeks, like less than
- 0:37Speaker 2: two weeks we're down there, and everything else is just
- 0:39Speaker 2: gonna be trying to not pay too much to ship
- 0:43Speaker 2: some stuff over there for us to play.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Sure did I read correctly that this is gonna be
- 0:48Speaker 4: your first evateur of Australia?
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah, never been.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Never been is a bucket list destination for me, and
- 0:56Speaker 2: I've been saying it for over a decade. Australia is
- 1:00Speaker 2: where I want to go and we're finally making it happen.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I suppose a big question there, mate, is why have
- 1:05Speaker 4: you neglected us for cylong van Broads?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Well, it's not it's not entirely up to me. So
- 1:14Speaker 2: if it was up to me, i'd have been there sooner.
- 1:15Speaker 2: But it's up to uh, you know, it's up to
- 1:18Speaker 2: management agents, whoever's putting on the festivals and booking the shows,
- 1:21Speaker 2: and ultimately the bank account to make sure that we
- 1:23Speaker 2: don't go broke trying to get over there to play.
- 1:27Speaker 4: We can live with up mate, So what are you
- 1:29Speaker 4: actually expecting from Australian Crabs? Might have you been sort
- 1:32Speaker 4: of brought up to speed?
- 1:34Speaker 2: No, I have no idea what to expect, And of course,
- 1:36Speaker 2: like the things that you see is like uh, Parkway drive,
- 1:42Speaker 2: lighting everything on fire and floating above the crowd, so
- 1:44Speaker 2: you don't see you know, like you know, like a
- 1:46Speaker 2: new band like us that's going to be coming over
- 1:48Speaker 2: there and stripping it down. We're not going to have
- 1:49Speaker 2: all the crazy production and stuff like that. Like it's
- 1:51Speaker 2: just going to be like an old school throwdown style show.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So I have no idea what to expect, and sometimes
- 1:57Speaker 2: I really like to enter it like that.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Like I like to. It's kind of like going to
- 2:02Speaker 1: see a movie.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You know, when you hear someone say that a movie
- 2:05Speaker 2: is like really awesome where it's really bad. That kind
- 2:08Speaker 2: of sets your expectations and it sets the bar. So
- 2:12Speaker 2: if you go into it blind, then you have no expectations.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You have no bar.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And a lot of the times, usually ninety nine percent
- 2:18Speaker 2: of the time, I leave, you know, very very satisfied
- 2:22Speaker 2: with the way the shows go.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So that's what I'm looking forward to do when I
- 2:25Speaker 1: get to Australia.
- 2:26Speaker 3: On the frift side of that toin Mike, but you
- 2:28Speaker 3: never been here before? Is we got no idea? What
- 2:31Speaker 3: do we expect from you?
- 2:31Speaker 2: Are this?
- 2:32Speaker 3: I run it through a typical from matches in live show.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Well, I mean, you know, we've been able to come
- 2:38Speaker 2: up through the ranks here in the United States and
- 2:41Speaker 2: we've started adding all sorts of stuff into our show.
- 2:44Speaker 2: And again, like I said, I'm not going to be
- 2:45Speaker 2: bringing any of that stuff. We won't be bringing anything
- 2:48Speaker 2: with us. It's just going to be us the band,
- 2:50Speaker 2: whatever lights the house has given us, and you know,
- 2:52Speaker 2: a very stripped back crew. So you're going to be
- 2:56Speaker 2: seeing us do something that we haven't done in you know,
- 3:00Speaker 2: half a decade or more here, and I'm looking forward
- 3:03Speaker 2: to it.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Man.
- 3:03Speaker 2: You know this one says like a throwdown style show,
- 3:05Speaker 2: Like we're just gonna get up there. It's gonna be us,
- 3:07Speaker 2: our instruments, our music, and the crowd, and there's not
- 3:11Speaker 2: gonna be a bunch of fancy video walls to look at.
- 3:13Speaker 2: There's not gonna be any pyro or cry out going
- 3:16Speaker 2: off any of that stuff. So so you get this,
- 3:18Speaker 2: you get the strip back version, and from ashes to
- 3:20Speaker 2: new and it's up to us to make sure that
- 3:21Speaker 2: A we sound great and b we perform great and
- 3:24Speaker 2: see everyone loves it. And I think that that's what
- 3:27Speaker 2: I've got a really good feeling that that's what everyone's
- 3:29Speaker 2: gonna leave saying that they love the.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Show along those lives, mate, Like, you've been doing this
- 3:35Speaker 4: for a long time now, but have you ever had
- 3:37Speaker 4: a gig where you just weren't feeling it before you
- 3:40Speaker 4: went on? Like and then in this so like, how
- 3:42Speaker 4: did you turn that around and put on a good show?
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:46Speaker 2: I mean I think that there's plenty of times where
- 3:48Speaker 2: I mean, in a way, it's a lot like a job.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It's the coolest job ever. But I mean when you
- 3:53Speaker 2: do it a lot, it ends up. Sometimes you just
- 3:57Speaker 2: want to take a break. You know, you get towards
- 3:59Speaker 2: the end of.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Tour, man, and you're like, oh my god.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Like you know, the last tour we were on, we
- 4:02Speaker 2: were out for nine weeks. So you know, you get
- 4:05Speaker 2: towards the end of a nine week tour and you're like, man,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I just want to go home. I want to lay
- 4:09Speaker 2: in my own bed.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I want to see my babies like I want to
- 4:12Speaker 1: you know, want to do all this stuff.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So so you can get jaded, I think the best
- 4:17Speaker 2: way to turn it around is just get on stage,
- 4:19Speaker 2: because every single time you get on, Like for me,
- 4:22Speaker 2: especially when I get on stage, I don't ever think things.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I just perform and I don't think about what's going
- 4:28Speaker 2: on outside of stage. The whole world just kind of
- 4:31Speaker 2: dissolves and it's just me, the microphone, the band, and
- 4:35Speaker 2: the crowd. And if I'm not if I don't mess
- 4:38Speaker 2: up too bad and have a bad performance, it's therapy man.
- 4:43Speaker 2: So so you know, even though I might not look
- 4:45Speaker 2: forward to going to therapy, once I'm there, I'm like,
- 4:47Speaker 2: all right, this is the this is probably the better
- 4:50Speaker 2: decision for the day.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yeah, good things, bitch is a stack of good bands.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Why you got torn?
- 4:57Speaker 4: Some forty one mess it on, Electric Cowboy, Harry King
- 5:01Speaker 4: times more. But and many bands on the building you
- 5:03Speaker 4: haven't played with before.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I mean, I think that there's a few on there
- 5:08Speaker 2: that we haven't played with we actually I mean no,
- 5:11Speaker 2: I mean we've played festivals with a lot of these bands.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I don't think that we've toured. I'd have to look
- 5:15Speaker 2: at the lineup.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I don't think we've.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Toured with any of the bands that are on it.
- 5:20Speaker 2: But I am looking forward to Electric Callboy. I've never
- 5:22Speaker 2: seen them, I've never you know, toured with them, never
- 5:26Speaker 2: played festivals with them, nothing so and I've always heard
- 5:29Speaker 2: that the show is fun, so you know, I'm looking
- 5:31Speaker 2: forward to seeing that.
- 5:33Speaker 3: We actually raise a good point there.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Bro Like the whole festival environment of backstage, like with
- 5:38Speaker 4: a whole heap of different bands, is completely different to
- 5:40Speaker 4: if you go on tour with a band. But do
- 5:42Speaker 4: you often like create friendships and relationships with bands at
- 5:46Speaker 4: a festival or is it sort of more of a
- 5:49Speaker 4: no party getting get out try via backstage?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't really see anybody unless you unless you
- 5:55Speaker 2: know people and you're like texting them to meet up
- 5:57Speaker 2: and everything. Like, you don't really see or meet anybody
- 6:00Speaker 2: at festivals. It really is just kind of like a
- 6:02Speaker 2: passing thing. You know, you might see people in in
- 6:06Speaker 2: catering or whatever, but you know, outside of like John
- 6:09Speaker 2: Davis and the rest of the guys in corn I
- 6:11Speaker 2: could walk past pretty much everybody there and not know
- 6:14Speaker 2: who they are. So so I'm kind of oblivious when
- 6:18Speaker 2: it comes to all that stuff. I'm really just out
- 6:19Speaker 2: there doing my thing. Touring's a little different. But even
- 6:23Speaker 2: sometimes with touring, like you you know, it depends on
- 6:26Speaker 2: it depends on like the way the bands are or.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You know, if they're hermits or whatever, you might not
- 6:31Speaker 1: see them in all the entire tour.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You know, sometimes people are a little bit more reclusive
- 6:35Speaker 2: and you don't see them until the end of the
- 6:36Speaker 2: tour and.
- 6:37Speaker 1: They're like, hey, great having you.
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's like sick meeting you, you know what I mean,
- 6:41Speaker 2: like and then that's the end of the tour. Like,
- 6:43Speaker 2: the way that we do tours is is we like
- 6:44Speaker 2: to you know, we like when we do a headlining
- 6:47Speaker 2: tour something like that, we like to get, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 2: interact with the bands early on and create friendships and
- 6:51Speaker 2: in that way, the tour is not like the weird
- 6:54Speaker 2: vibes or something like that, like it's a good tour.
- 6:57Speaker 2: We had that experience with Skillet tour to a Skillet
- 7:01Speaker 2: and they like called us in for like a meeting
- 7:05Speaker 2: the first show, and we thought that they were gonna
- 7:08Speaker 2: call us in like give us ground rules and like,
- 7:10Speaker 2: you know whatever it was gonna be.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But it was just like a hey, how you doing,
- 7:14Speaker 1: Like happy.
- 7:15Speaker 2: To have you on the tour if you need anything,
- 7:17Speaker 2: and you know, everybody introducing themselves.
- 7:19Speaker 1: It was like really cool and it made it a
- 7:20Speaker 1: really cool day.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Back tour, when that doesn't happen, it's kind of like
- 7:24Speaker 2: you almost ask yourself, especially if you're not the headliner,
- 7:27Speaker 2: you almost ask yourself like the way through the.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Tour, like has that been, like do they hate us?
- 7:31Speaker 1: You know, so you run into that a little bit.
- 7:34Speaker 2: But festival is like festival, you don't really read too
- 7:36Speaker 2: much into it. It's so everything's so quick, like it's
- 7:41Speaker 2: the very fast moving day. There's a lot of things
- 7:43Speaker 2: that you gotta do, a lot of stuff going on,
- 7:46Speaker 2: so typically unless you know them, you don't hang Oh.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Well, heavy.
- 7:49Speaker 4: You should be doing backstage interviews on the day, mate,
- 7:51Speaker 4: So everyone respeaks to you. I'll give them a name
- 7:53Speaker 4: tag and sell them to wear it some where they
- 7:55Speaker 4: walk past you. You know who it is gonna have to.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Say their name and there I had to say Hi,
- 8:02Speaker 2: I am such and such like I'm Matt Bee with
- 8:05Speaker 2: for mashes to new like it's gonna have to say that.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Outside of that, dude, I am. I'm oblivious, like completely oblivious.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Wait, you've also got a couple of your own headlining
- 8:16Speaker 4: shows too, in Melbourne on December the fourth and Sydney
- 8:19Speaker 4: on December the tenth, mate, So are you gonna make
- 8:21Speaker 4: those shows a little bit different so fans going to
- 8:23Speaker 4: both of them get a different experience.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I mean we'll be playing longer, so I mean you'll
- 8:29Speaker 2: hear more songs, but there's not much opportunity.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I'm transparent, I'm an open book.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It costs a lot of money to do this, to
- 8:40Speaker 2: get down there, fly all your people down there, fly
- 8:43Speaker 2: your gear down there. You know you have to fly,
- 8:45Speaker 2: which I learned recently. You have to fly in between
- 8:47Speaker 2: every show.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 8:49Speaker 2: You know, up here we're used to driving or having
- 8:52Speaker 2: a bus, so it costs a lot. So we're not
- 8:54Speaker 2: we're not able to really bring we're not bringing anything.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You know, there's no production, so things aren't gonna be
- 8:59Speaker 2: much different. I mean, it's gonna be smaller stages, so
- 9:01Speaker 2: I mean it's sold out probably you know, both shows
- 9:04Speaker 2: have probably sold out, and uh you know they're smaller rooms,
- 9:07Speaker 2: so it's gonna be fun for sure.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean the.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Only thing that you're getting any different is probably you
- 9:14Speaker 2: know a handful of uh different songs that we're playing
- 9:18Speaker 2: on the festivals and you know, whatever lighting rig the
- 9:21Speaker 2: house has.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I'll just say someone said that a lot of good
- 9:26Speaker 4: things Broan they haven't really heard much of from matches.
- 9:29Speaker 4: You like, what three songs that you should they listen to?
- 9:32Speaker 4: You get a gauge, what do you expect.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna go panic, nightmare, and heartache.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I think that you kind of get you get the heavy,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you get the rap, you get the melodic, and you.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Get you know, the the feels that we put in
- 9:53Speaker 2: the songs.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I think you're getting all of that with those songs.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And and I'll tell you this, and I've seen this
- 9:58Speaker 2: from our fan base and I know it just from
- 10:01Speaker 2: the way that we perform. Those songs are full of
- 10:03Speaker 2: energy for the most part, but they're not even close to.
- 10:06Speaker 1: The energy that we bring live.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Like it's it's a completely different ballgame live, Like we
- 10:11Speaker 2: just we go off. It's kind of like, you know,
- 10:14Speaker 2: you hit that stage and it's just like an at
- 10:15Speaker 2: them bomb.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Man, it just goes off.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Back in Junior released the album Blackout Deluxe, which measured
- 10:24Speaker 4: Blackout's original twelve songs plus six extra tracks, including collaborations
- 10:28Speaker 4: with Aaron from a Wison Man. There's Yellow Wolf, Prissy
- 10:31Speaker 4: from Against the Cara, Maddie from Memphis Mayfire, a Sullivan
- 10:35Speaker 4: King remix, and an acoustic version Mate. So did fans
- 10:38Speaker 4: react to that the way you expected, Like it was
- 10:41Speaker 4: a bit of a risk, sort of chuck and chucking
- 10:42Speaker 4: something like that.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I think everyone loved it.
- 10:46Speaker 2: This is our best performing album we've ever had, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: the Deluxe has only helped that. So, you know, this
- 10:52Speaker 2: is the direction that we've wanted to take for years,
- 10:54Speaker 2: and we're just going to keep that momentum going.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And yeah, I mean I haven't seen anything negative.
- 11:01Speaker 2: So you know, there's there's this, you know, a song
- 11:03Speaker 2: in there that I'm singing, which is different. You know,
- 11:05Speaker 2: I mean I think that I think they just got
- 11:06Speaker 2: to take risks in life.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I mean, I you know, I uh.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I use bad Omens as an example, Like I know,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I know some people behind the scenes with bad Omens
- 11:16Speaker 2: and producers and things like that, and I had heard
- 11:19Speaker 2: that when they created a Death of Peace of Mind
- 11:21Speaker 2: that they're like, this is something completely different for us.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It's either going to be absolutely sick and everyone's gonna
- 11:27Speaker 2: love it, or it's gonna tank and everyone's gonna hate it.
- 11:30Speaker 2: But what they did was is they took a risk.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And that's the example that I'm using, is they took
- 11:33Speaker 2: a risk, they bet on themselves, they did something really cool,
- 11:35Speaker 2: and now they're gigantic because of it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So, you know, that's what we did.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Obviously we didn't share in the same amount of success
- 11:42Speaker 2: as what bad Omens had with the Death of Peace
- 11:44Speaker 2: of Mind, but it was a nice building block to
- 11:46Speaker 2: the foundation of what we've been able to do.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And the Deluxe is crushed for us.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Then, looking back my life, how was the experience of
- 11:54Speaker 4: working with other guests out It's like, at the time,
- 11:56Speaker 4: you know, I could be wrapped up in what you
- 11:58Speaker 4: were doing and focusing on my in the song, but
- 12:01Speaker 4: with a bit of reflection, like what does that experience
- 12:03Speaker 4: that to bring you?
- 12:04Speaker 3: I guess as a musician as a band, Well, it's cool.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Because if you do work with them, I mean everything's
- 12:12Speaker 2: remote right, Well except for Mattie Mollins. We did do
- 12:16Speaker 2: the recording remote, but we shot a music video together
- 12:18Speaker 2: when we were on tour. But outside that, everything's remote.
- 12:21Speaker 2: But I think that it gives you the opportunity if
- 12:23Speaker 2: you do work one on one with the other artist,
- 12:25Speaker 2: it gives you the opportunity to build a relationship there. Not
- 12:28Speaker 2: only that, it gives you the opportunity to see the
- 12:30Speaker 2: way that people work produce music, the way that they write,
- 12:32Speaker 2: the way that they sing, the way that they tick.
- 12:34Speaker 2: So a couple of those artists, it was just a
- 12:37Speaker 2: label reaching out. I never actually had contact with any
- 12:40Speaker 2: of them, yellow Wolf and Sullivan King Like, I honestly
- 12:43Speaker 2: didn't even know Sullivan was doing a song or one
- 12:45Speaker 2: of our songs, and then they sent it and I
- 12:46Speaker 2: was like, oh, this is sick. I had no clue
- 12:48Speaker 2: was even happening. And Yellow Like we didn't talk or anything.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I would have loved to I love him as an artist,
- 12:53Speaker 2: been a Yellow fan for a long time. But you know,
- 12:57Speaker 2: we created a great relationship with Matty Mullins outside of
- 13:01Speaker 2: the relationship that our drummer Mattie had with the guys
- 13:04Speaker 2: in Memphis Mayfire and Aaron. I've been a fan of
- 13:08Speaker 2: Aaron's work for since he was in Jamies elsewhere, So
- 13:11Speaker 2: I'm glad that we finally got the opportunity to do that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: And Christy was completely new, wasn't on our radar. The
- 13:16Speaker 2: record label brought her to us when we said that
- 13:18Speaker 2: we were looking for a female feature.
- 13:21Speaker 1: We were hoping for like Amy Lee.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I think that was like the top of our list,
- 13:25Speaker 2: but I think that Chrissy ended up being the best
- 13:27Speaker 2: fit for that song. So, you know, the fact that
- 13:30Speaker 2: we couldn't get amy Lee, maybe it never even landed
- 13:32Speaker 2: on her radar, I don't know, but the fact that
- 13:34Speaker 2: it didn't happen was a blessing because Chrissy crushed it.
- 13:39Speaker 1: And I'm all about like.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I'm all about like new artists and new art especially
- 13:45Speaker 2: in rock and metal, like new artists getting an opportunity.
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's why I love seeing like a lot of these
- 13:49Speaker 2: young bands and I'll use bad Rooms again as an example,
- 13:52Speaker 2: explode and blow up and be able to do what
- 13:54Speaker 2: they're doing, because that that just ensures the future of
- 13:58Speaker 2: our genre of music. So so, chrisy great to work
- 14:00Speaker 2: with and and and crushed for barely breathing.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you mentioned in passing earlier on about heading into
- 14:07Speaker 4: the studio yourself, surely, mate, So is that part of
- 14:10Speaker 4: a new block of material from.
- 14:11Speaker 3: From Ashes to New or just the personal stuff?
- 14:14Speaker 2: No, it's from Ashes to New. We're overdue, man, But
- 14:18Speaker 2: I mean we've been if we've been working our asses off,
- 14:22Speaker 2: we've been torn like crazy. So it's been really hard
- 14:26Speaker 2: to you know, I just had a baby too, so
- 14:27Speaker 2: he's eight months old now. So it's been you know,
- 14:30Speaker 2: with the personal life and the work life and touring.
- 14:32Speaker 1: All the time, and just like it was so damn busy.
- 14:35Speaker 2: So we haven't really had an opportunity to get super
- 14:37Speaker 2: serious with new music. And like, we want to be
- 14:41Speaker 2: really serious with new music, like we want to we
- 14:44Speaker 2: want to take the risks that we've taken before, continue
- 14:47Speaker 2: to take risks. But I mean, like we're, for lack
- 14:52Speaker 2: of better words, I've been using the word precious. I've
- 14:55Speaker 2: been very precious about what we're doing moving forward. Because
- 14:58Speaker 2: of the Blackout album being such a gigantic step up
- 15:01Speaker 2: for this band, we have to continue to grow on
- 15:05Speaker 2: that but also be genuine and authentic to who we are.
- 15:08Speaker 2: So planning it out has taken more time, more studio time,
- 15:13Speaker 2: more studio time in my studio, in other studios, and
- 15:16Speaker 2: just really making sure that we're honing in on creating
- 15:20Speaker 2: something that people are going to fall in love with
- 15:22Speaker 2: and keeping their libraries for decades.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Right before you late you game, mate, I've started a
- 15:28Speaker 4: new segment called photo Bomb, where basically, I'll troll your
- 15:31Speaker 4: social media before I chat with you, pick out a
- 15:34Speaker 4: couple of photos that I want to know more about,
- 15:35Speaker 4: and throw them at you. So I've got two for you, mate,
- 15:39Speaker 4: and this is the first one. Tell us the story
- 15:40Speaker 4: behind this.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Oh man, we just rolled into your town. We're gonna
- 15:44Speaker 1: fuck shit up. That's what that is. Those are the
- 15:50Speaker 1: kids on the big wheels that you don't want to
- 15:51Speaker 1: mess with. That's that's what that is.
- 15:54Speaker 2: So there's a there's a there's a venue and it's
- 15:57Speaker 2: an Amphitheater. And I can't remember the name of the Amphitheater.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Sorry if anyone's watching this that loves that place. It's
- 16:02Speaker 2: in Guildford, New Hampshire. We were on tour with Motionless
- 16:06Speaker 2: and White and then this moment and Fit for a
- 16:08Speaker 2: King and they have like all sorts of shit to
- 16:13Speaker 2: play with there.
- 16:14Speaker 1: It's really cool.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, toys and like the way that it's set up.
- 16:17Speaker 2: They've got like food for all the artists. They got
- 16:20Speaker 2: like vendors and like it's the best venue I've ever
- 16:22Speaker 2: been to because of the way that they set up.
- 16:24Speaker 1: For the artists.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And they had big wheels as you can see, and
- 16:30Speaker 2: we were ripping them around and our photographers.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Like, hey, let's get a photo of this.
- 16:35Speaker 4: So so there we are fantastic. And the second one
- 16:38Speaker 4: on God is this one from the tool by some
- 16:44Speaker 4: guessing that's great fight.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah, so uh that's Danny's personality and the nutshell right there,
- 16:52Speaker 2: he's a menace man.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And and Lances it's his personality as well, Like what
- 16:58Speaker 1: the fuck? Uh uh?
- 17:01Speaker 2: So, I mean you're just kind of seeing them in
- 17:02Speaker 2: the roll right there, just goofing off, man, like that's
- 17:05Speaker 2: you know, we're it's a it's a it's a brotherhood.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Man, like we are we're all we're family. There's my dogs.
- 17:13Speaker 3: They're chiming in, chomming in on the family pod.
- 17:16Speaker 2: That's right, right, No, see the bitches must be home
- 17:22Speaker 2: so but yeah, no, so I mean they we're just family, man,
- 17:24Speaker 2: you know, and that that's the you know that right,
- 17:27Speaker 2: there's just two brothers hanging out.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Fantasy matter, all right, Bright, Well, thanks very much for
- 17:32Speaker 4: you talking pleasure as always from ash Sin. You will
- 17:35Speaker 4: be in Australia for all three Good Thing shows, a

- 17:40Speaker 4: doing interviews in the Melbourne show, brother, So hopefully we get.
- 17:42Speaker 3: To catch up and have a beer.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Hell yea, man, love it.
- 17:47Speaker 2: No beer on this end though, I'm a sober guy now,
- 17:50Speaker 2: so no beer on this end.
- 17:51Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what.
