- 0:00Speaker 1: In the eternal battle of morning show supremacy.
- 0:04Speaker 2: We are one of them.
- 0:08Speaker 3: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 0:09Speaker 4: All right, Rich, what do you got with today's national what?
- 0:11Speaker 3: Well, it is National Bratwurst Day. It is National Rum Day.
- 0:16Speaker 3: It is National Roller Coaster Day. And it is National
- 0:20Speaker 3: Tell a Joke Day. Here, I'll start. I'll start. Why
- 0:25Speaker 3: did the scarecrow get a raise? Why did the scarecrow
- 0:27Speaker 3: get a raise?
- 0:28Speaker 4: Because, uh... 6-8-7. I'm just kidding.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Why?
- 0:33Speaker 3: Because he was outstanding in his field. National Tell-A-Joke Day.
- 0:40Speaker 4: National Tell-A-Joke Day. I love it. Hey, TJ, you got
- 0:43Speaker 4: a joke?
- 0:44Speaker 6: Yes, I do.
- 0:44Speaker 5: All right.
- 0:45Speaker 4: It's National Tell-A-Joke Day, TJ. Let's see what you got.
- 0:47Speaker 7: So, what do.
- 0:49Speaker 8: You call a snake that studies past events?
- 0:52Speaker 3: What do you call a snake that studies past events?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Don't know. What?
- 0:57Speaker 8: A history.
- 0:58Speaker 5: Historian.
- 0:59Speaker 6: Historian.
- 1:00Speaker 4: That's cute.
- 1:01Speaker 9: Cute.
- 1:02Speaker 4: That's cute, TJ.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I like it too.
- 1:04Speaker 4: I got one for you, TJ. When life gives you melons,
- 1:07Speaker 4: you might be dyslexic.
- 1:12Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Hold on, TJ. That's a good one. You know, the
- 1:18Speaker 4: rotation of the earth.
- 1:19Speaker 10: Melons and lemons are spelt.
- 1:22Speaker 4: The rotation of the earth really makes my day. I
- 1:28Speaker 4: like T.J. T.J.
- 1:29Speaker 10: 's into it.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Two Wi-Fi engineers got married. The reception was fantastic. Oh,
- 1:39Speaker 4: my God.
- 1:39Speaker 1: T.J.
- 1:39Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Oh, man. What did one DNA say to the other DNA?
- 1:48Speaker 11: What?
- 1:49Speaker 4: Do these genes make me look fat? T.J.
- 1:54Speaker 5: That's a good science one.
- 1:55Speaker 4: That's a good science one. All right, TJ. TJ, have
- 1:59Speaker 4: a great day. Thanks for listening, man. You do the same, guys.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Take care.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Eric, it's National Tell-A-Joke Day. What do you got?
- 2:06Speaker 8: What did Mike Tyson tell Chris Hemsworth after their workout?
- 2:11Speaker 10: What did he say?
- 2:12Speaker 5: You're going to be Thor in the morning.
- 2:17Speaker 4: He's got a speech impediment. Thor, you're going to be
- 2:19Speaker 4: Thor in the morning.
- 2:22Speaker 3: That's funny on so many levels.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Oh, man. You know, I'm afraid of elevators, so I
- 2:27Speaker 4: take steps to avoid them. That's good, Eric. Thanks for
- 2:32Speaker 4: calling in, man. No problem.
- 2:34Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 2:35Speaker 4: National tell-a-joke day. You got any, Kyle?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:38Speaker 4: You do?
- 2:39Speaker 10: Why can't you hear a pterodactyl in the bathroom?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Why?
- 2:44Speaker 10: Because the P is silent.
- 2:46Speaker 6: Pterodactyl.
- 2:47Speaker 10: Spelling jokes.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Spelling jokes.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I actually have a really good joke about time travel,
- 2:57Speaker 3: but you didn't like it.
- 2:58Speaker 4: That's stupid. That's great. That's really good. What do you got, Nick?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Do you guys know the difference between a hippo and
- 3:11Speaker 1: a zippo?
- 3:12Speaker 3: No, what?
- 3:12Speaker 1: So a hippo, you know, is a big animal, huge tusk,
- 3:16Speaker 1: lives in the water just as fast on the land
- 3:18Speaker 1: as it is in the sea. And a zippo is
- 3:21Speaker 1: a little lighter.
- 3:22Speaker 3: A little lighter.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Kyle, do you know the difference between toilet paper and
- 3:27Speaker 4: a shower curtain?
- 3:28Speaker 10: What is it?
- 3:29Speaker 4: Do you know the difference?
- 3:30Speaker 10: I mean, I know the actual difference, but not the joke.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Well, it's a joke, so you're supposed to play along.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I know.
- 3:34Speaker 4: You're killing the joke.
- 3:35Speaker 10: Yeah, I know I'm not.
- 3:36Speaker 8: Yeah, you are.
- 3:36Speaker 10: I said, what is it?
- 3:38Speaker 4: Well, so you're the one.
- 3:39Speaker 10: What?
- 3:42Speaker 4: Do you know the difference between toilet paper and a
- 3:44Speaker 4: shower curtain? And you say, no, I don't. So you're
- 3:46Speaker 4: the one, meaning you're the one wiping your ass with
- 3:48Speaker 4: a shower curtain. But if you say, yes, I know
- 3:51Speaker 4: the difference, then it kills the joke. So you've got
- 3:53Speaker 4: to call it a joke listening test. I said, what
- 4:00Speaker 4: is it? You know, I'm skeptical of anyone who tells
- 4:04Speaker 4: me they do yoga every day. That's a bit of
- 4:06Speaker 4: a stretch. Hey, how does a computer get drunk?
- 4:12Speaker 11: How?
- 4:13Speaker 4: It takes screenshots.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Oh.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I used to be a people person until people ruined
- 4:19Speaker 4: it for me.
- 4:22Speaker 13: Anyway.
- 4:23Speaker 4: There's a little.
- 4:24Speaker 10: Bit of truth to all those jokes.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that one is just a statement I feel like.
- 4:29Speaker 4: National Tell-A-Joke Day. So feel free to call in and
- 4:32Speaker 4: jump in and tell us jokes. You got any more, Rich?
- 4:35Speaker 3: I am. Actually, I have a construction joke, but I'm
- 4:38Speaker 3: still working on.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It. 6.30, by the way, is the best time on
- 4:43Speaker 4: a clock, hands down. The man who invented Velcro died. Rip.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Rip.
- 4:51Speaker 3: What do you call a Gen Z farmer?
- 4:53Speaker 5: What?
- 4:54Speaker 6: A crop top.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I'm reading this book.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Thanks, Kyle.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 4:59Speaker 10: I appreciated that.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I'm reading this book. It's about anti-gravity. It's impossible to
- 5:05Speaker 3: put down.
- 5:10Speaker 10: That was funny. I was just trying to make you
- 5:11Speaker 10: feel how I felt.
- 5:13Speaker 4: The man who invented knock-knock jokes should get a Nobel Prize.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Nobel.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Yes. Yes.
- 5:24Speaker 4: I can't believe I got fired from the calendar factory.
- 5:26Speaker 4: All I did was take a day off. Oh, man. Anyway,
- 5:33Speaker 4: National Tell-A-Joke Day. We'll sprinkle them in throughout the show. Hey, dummy,
- 5:38Speaker 4: if you.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Get free roses, it's a trap.
- 5:42Speaker 2: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 5:45Speaker 2: and Rich.
- 5:46Speaker 4: All right, it's time for War of the Roses. McKenna,
- 5:48Speaker 4: you think someone's cheating on you. What's your story?
- 5:50Speaker 14: So, yeah, I asked my boyfriend to unfollow this girl
- 5:54Speaker 14: on Instagram last week, and he straight up would not
- 5:57Speaker 14: do it. He said to me, like, that's my cousin,
- 6:02Speaker 14: and okay, because no the hell it's not. That account
- 6:06Speaker 14: is actually mine.
- 6:09Speaker 6: And.
- 6:10Speaker 13: I've had this.
- 6:11Speaker 14: Fake Instagram since literally high school, and I use just
- 6:14Speaker 14: some random model pictures. And to be honest, I actually
- 6:19Speaker 14: forgot about it for years. But a few months ago,
- 6:24Speaker 14: my boyfriend was acting super shady, so I got curious
- 6:27Speaker 14: and was like, let's follow him and see what happens.
- 6:31Speaker 14: And of course, he followed her back. And he started
- 6:35Speaker 14: liking a couple of the pictures, and I was like, oh, cool.
- 6:39Speaker 15: Okay, noted.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Got that.
- 6:41Speaker 14: But recently, he's been swiping up on stories with heart
- 6:45Speaker 14: eyes and, like, being super flirty.
- 6:48Speaker 13: Ew.
- 6:49Speaker 14: And so now I'm, like, super suspicious, right? Like, I
- 6:55Speaker 14: want to know if he's just being a slime ball
- 6:57Speaker 14: online or if he would actually take it further. Like,
- 6:59Speaker 14: is he going to try to talk to her? Like,
- 7:02Speaker 14: what the deal is?
- 7:04Speaker 4: Wow.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Boy, it's like you're setting him up for failure and
- 7:09Speaker 3: he's taking the bait every single time.
- 7:11Speaker 10: Or she's putting him to the test and he's failing.
- 7:14Speaker 3: I like that angle. Now we're the final round with
- 7:17Speaker 3: the flowers, right? This is the last like... Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 3: got to send them to somebody. I don't know her address.
- 7:22Speaker 3: She's just beautiful and online. He's not going to.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Send them to somebody he's not communicating with. I mean,
- 7:28Speaker 4: you would know if he's communicating with the person. So,
- 7:31Speaker 4: I mean, it doesn't mean there's not another person that
- 7:33Speaker 4: he's going to send them to, but I can't see
- 7:35Speaker 4: him sending them to his fake cousin, your Finsta account.
- 7:39Speaker 4: But still, either way, you've got vibes.
- 7:41Speaker 3: And he's lying to you.
- 7:42Speaker 4: What's your boyfriend's name?
- 7:44Speaker 13: His name is Jack.
- 7:46Speaker 4: The only thing, you say he's lying to you, but
- 7:47Speaker 4: maybe he thinks, oh, you specifically said unfollow this one account.
- 7:51Speaker 3: That's my cousin.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Right, right.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Okay. He's totally lying.
- 7:54Speaker 10: Absolutely not.
- 7:55Speaker 4: He'd be like, he got it wrong. He got the
- 7:58Speaker 4: wrong account. Maybe he's following his cousin.
- 8:00Speaker 8: All right.
- 8:00Speaker 4: We're going to call Jack. We're going to see who
- 8:03Speaker 4: he sends flowers to. War of the Roses continues next
- 8:07Speaker 4: with John Jay and Rich.
- 8:08Speaker 2: If chaos was a radio show, you're listening to it.
- 8:11Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 8:13Speaker 4: All right, we're in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 8:15Speaker 4: You got McKenna. She thinks her boyfriend Jack is cheating
- 8:18Speaker 4: on her. Because of suspicious behavior, some of that is
- 8:21Speaker 4: on Instagram. She has a fake Instagram account, and he
- 8:24Speaker 4: followed it. She said, I want you to stop following
- 8:26Speaker 4: this account. He said, it's my cousin. It's not her cousin.
- 8:28Speaker 4: It's not his cousin.
- 8:29Speaker 5: It's her.
- 8:30Speaker 4: She posts a bunch of sexy pictures on there that
- 8:32Speaker 4: are fake, right? McKenna, they're not you. They're fake pictures.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:36Speaker 14: Yeah, no, they're not me. They're just some random super
- 8:39Speaker 14: hot girl.
- 8:41Speaker 4: That is so crazy. All right. We'll get them on
- 8:43Speaker 4: the phone. See you. He sends flowers to McKenna. Hang tight.
- 8:46Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 8:55Speaker 16: Hello?
- 8:56Speaker 10: Good morning. Is Jack available?
- 9:01Speaker 8: Uh, who, yeah, who is this?
- 9:04Speaker 4: My name is Charlie.
- 9:05Speaker 10: I'm with a new company.
- 9:05Speaker 17: We're called J & R Flowers, and this deal's really
- 9:07Speaker 17: just for you, so I had to make sure it
- 9:08Speaker 17: was really you. Um, we have this really cool social
- 9:11Speaker 17: media campaign where you've been chosen to be one of
- 9:13Speaker 17: our micro-influencers, and here's why this is.
- 9:15Speaker 10: Super cool for you, Jack.
- 9:16Speaker 17: You get to send our most romantic bouquet of roses.
- 9:19Speaker 17: We call it, like, our pure passion bouquet. It's a
- 9:20Speaker 17: dozen red roses. Crystal is so gorgeous. pretty much makes
- 9:24Speaker 17: anyone soon. And you get to send it totally free
- 9:26Speaker 17: to whoever you want really anywhere. Um, and all we're
- 9:30Speaker 17: kind of asking in return is that you post about
- 9:32Speaker 17: J and R flowers so we can like get the
- 9:33Speaker 17: word out and.
- 9:34Speaker 10: Get a little bit of marketing.
- 9:37Speaker 16: Uh, nah.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I mean, it's totally free.
- 9:42Speaker 17: I know it's kind of like weird, but like, I'm
- 9:44Speaker 17: not going to ask you for credit card information.
- 9:46Speaker 10: We're not going to send you a bill.
- 9:47Speaker 17: It's just like, I mean, even if you just like,
- 9:49Speaker 17: like a few of our posts or maybe like repost
- 9:52Speaker 17: them so you don't have to like make your own content.
- 9:54Speaker 17: It's really just like, it's kind of like a word
- 9:56Speaker 17: of mouth marketing campaign. And they're like, this is like,
- 10:00Speaker 17: usually over a hundred dollars this bouquet so it kind
- 10:02Speaker 17: of does make a splash it's super sexy so if
- 10:04Speaker 17: you've got someone special in your life i would take
- 10:06Speaker 17: advantage of this.
- 10:07Speaker 8: Uh-huh um yeah i'm gonna have to say thanks.
- 10:14Speaker 10: But no thanks you don't have anyone special in your
- 10:16Speaker 10: life jack.
- 10:20Speaker 15: Uh, no.
- 10:22Speaker 10: No one you want to impress?
- 10:25Speaker 8: Nah, not right now.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Hmm, that's very sad.
- 10:29Speaker 13: Oh, bullshit, Jack.
- 10:31Speaker 14: Are you serious right now?
- 10:33Speaker 12: Um, what the f * * *?
- 10:36Speaker 18: What's going on?
- 10:38Speaker 14: So apparently you can't think of one person to send
- 10:41Speaker 14: flowers to, but you've got plenty of girls to send
- 10:43Speaker 14: heart eyes to on Instagram. I call John Jay and
- 10:47Speaker 14: Rich because you're a piece of.
- 10:49Speaker 19: S * * *.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Wait.
- 10:54Speaker 13: What are you even talking about?
- 10:56Speaker 14: Oh, okay.
- 10:57Speaker 18: So, fine.
- 10:58Speaker 14: Let's talk about your cousin. Who is she exactly?
- 11:02Speaker 5: What cousin?
- 11:03Speaker 14: What the f * * * are you talking about?
- 11:07Speaker 14: The girl that I asked you to unfollow last week.
- 11:10Speaker 14: You told me that she was your cousin. What's your
- 11:12Speaker 14: cousin's name, Jack?
- 11:16Speaker 7: I told you.
- 11:18Speaker 8: She's like my cousin.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Oh.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 11:23Speaker 13: So what is her name?
- 11:25Speaker 5: Look, why are you interrogating me right now?
- 11:28Speaker 8: You don't even know her.
- 11:30Speaker 5: This makes no sense.
- 11:31Speaker 14: Apparently you don't.
- 11:32Speaker 9: Know her either.
- 11:33Speaker 14: Because where does she live?
- 11:35Speaker 8: Look, I don't know.
- 11:36Speaker 13: She moves around.
- 11:37Speaker 7: We're not like close, close, you know?
- 11:41Speaker 13: Interesting.
- 11:41Speaker 14: But you're close, close enough to be sliding up on
- 11:45Speaker 14: her story with hard eyes? That is so f * * *
- 11:47Speaker 14: ing gross. Oh, my God.
- 11:50Speaker 7: It's Instagram.
- 11:52Speaker 13: I'm not doing anything.
- 11:54Speaker 5: You're making this into something it's not.
- 11:57Speaker 14: Jack, she's not your cousin.
- 12:00Speaker 11: Yes, she is.
- 12:03Speaker 13: No, she's not.
- 12:04Speaker 14: Because it's me. The account is me.
- 12:08Speaker 4: He's like, we're cousins. Wait, what?
- 12:13Speaker 5: No, it's not.
- 12:13Speaker 13: You're lying. Oh, I'm lying?
- 12:16Speaker 7: Okay.
- 12:17Speaker 14: Well, you know what? Check your DMs, you f * *.
- 12:19Speaker 3: * ing idiot.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Like, are you DMing something right now? By the way,
- 12:23Speaker 4: you're on the air. That's why she called us. F * * *.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Oh, did he see you saw it? That really says
- 12:29Speaker 3: it all.
- 12:31Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 20: Wait.
- 12:32Speaker 10: Did you just DM him or something?
- 12:33Speaker 1: Like, what'd you say?
- 12:34Speaker 21: Uh, yeah.
- 12:36Speaker 14: I just messaged him from that account. Every picture you liked,
- 12:41Speaker 14: every story you reacted to, every little heart-eye emoji. That
- 12:46Speaker 14: was me.
- 12:48Speaker 13: McKenna, okay. But look, I never actually, like, did anything.
- 12:53Speaker 7: I mean.
- 12:54Speaker 14: Yeah, you know what? Don't even f * * *
- 12:55Speaker 14: ing do this because this is cheating. And I don't
- 12:57Speaker 14: care if you physically did anything or not. That's not
- 13:00Speaker 14: the point. You thought she was real. And you thought
- 13:03Speaker 14: she was some, like, hot girl giving you attention. You
- 13:06Speaker 14: flirted with her. And then what you're... What about not
- 13:09Speaker 14: sending you flowers when they're free? Right, no one's special
- 13:13Speaker 14: in your life. Oh my God.
- 13:33Speaker 5: McKenna, how are you going to entrap somebody? This is
- 13:36Speaker 5: like insane.
- 13:38Speaker 8: I didn't do anything.
- 13:39Speaker 14: You lied to me. You said that this girl was
- 13:42Speaker 14: your cousin this whole time and you couldn't tell me
- 13:45Speaker 14: her name. You don't know where she lives. Now all
- 13:47Speaker 14: of a sudden you all aren't like close, close, but
- 13:51Speaker 14: you're liking everything and being such a slime ball.
- 13:54Speaker 4: You know, what's interesting is that you're lying about the
- 13:57Speaker 4: cousin and it's like, you really don't have a reason
- 14:00Speaker 4: to lie because it's not like anything's happened.
- 14:03Speaker 13: Right.
- 14:03Speaker 4: I mean, you know, you're being stupid.
- 14:04Speaker 17: But the fact that you lied makes it feel more slimy.
- 14:07Speaker 10: Like there is something.
- 14:08Speaker 4: To me, to me, the worst part is he had
- 14:10Speaker 4: no one to send flowers to. Like when you got
- 14:12Speaker 4: a girlfriend, like that hurts.
- 14:14Speaker 3: They're free. You didn't have to pay for anything.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Like, Hey, and I think Kyle even said a few
- 14:18Speaker 4: different times, like, Hey, you get, these are free.
- 14:20Speaker 22: Nope.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Got nobody. Like that's a, that's bad, Jack. Whatever, man. Okay,
- 14:26Speaker 4: so McKenna, you're done with him, right? You're done.
- 14:28Speaker 13: Oh, I'm so done.
- 14:29Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:29Speaker 14: We are completely done.
- 14:31Speaker 4: All right. Well, you guys, that's War of the Roses
- 14:33Speaker 4: with John Jay and Rich.
- 14:34Speaker 2: It's the John Jay and Rich radio program.
- 14:37Speaker 8: Two names.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Four hosts.
- 14:40Speaker 3: And a whole lot of fun.
- 14:42Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I got really into finishing Chad Powers.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Oh, you haven't finished it yet?
- 14:48Speaker 4: I did last night. And I didn't realize it was
- 14:50Speaker 4: only six episodes. Yeah, it's such a quick watch. It's interesting,
- 14:53Speaker 4: the evolution of that show, because season one of Chad
- 14:56Speaker 4: Powers was hysterically funny. Season two was cute, but really good.
- 15:03Speaker 4: It was more of a storyline. It was more of
- 15:05Speaker 4: a storyline and more of a, is he going to
- 15:06Speaker 4: get caught? Is he not going to get caught? This
- 15:08Speaker 4: love story. It was really well done, but it wasn't like,
- 15:11Speaker 4: ha ha, laugh out funny. But it was still like,
- 15:13Speaker 4: I couldn't wait for the next episode. I couldn't wait
- 15:14Speaker 4: for the next episode. But while I was watching it,
- 15:16Speaker 4: I saw that number one right now is Mormon Wives.
- 15:19Speaker 13: Yep.
- 15:20Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I haven't seen that show yet.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I've watched all five of them. I am finished. But Kyle,
- 15:24Speaker 3: there's like crazy news.
- 15:26Speaker 6: No, I know.
- 15:26Speaker 17: I'm on episode four and I've heard the news that
- 15:31Speaker 17: Michaela has chosen to quit.
- 15:34Speaker 10: For now, she says. For now.
- 15:36Speaker 17: And the thing is, is like she's shared a lot
- 15:38Speaker 17: of her story. She's had a lot of trauma in
- 15:40Speaker 17: her life, specifically with abuse. And she was like, there
- 15:43Speaker 17: is no amount of money that could make me.
- 15:48Speaker 10: Ignore my morals or go against my morals.
- 15:51Speaker 17: So for now, I can't agree to be a part
- 15:53Speaker 17: of this show. And I think a lot of it
- 15:54Speaker 17: had to do with Taylor Frankie Paul and not wanting
- 15:56Speaker 17: to be criticized for everything that came out and all
- 16:00Speaker 17: that stuff.
- 16:01Speaker 10: So I think she just chose.
- 16:02Speaker 17: I know that the cast is filming season six in
- 16:04Speaker 17: Italy right now.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Almost everybody on that show, I can only think of
- 16:09Speaker 3: maybe one or two people that doesn't have kind of
- 16:11Speaker 3: a greasy... story in the more you've got like wild
- 16:15Speaker 3: stuff to share. If you're cheating on your husband, like,
- 16:18Speaker 3: you know, Jesse apparently is doing, like, you get more
- 16:22Speaker 3: screen time. So they show your story more, the more
- 16:26Speaker 3: messed up you are. And every one of those people
- 16:28Speaker 3: needs to be in severe therapy for the most part.
- 16:30Speaker 3: They are messed up. But it's also great to watch.
- 16:32Speaker 4: She quit. She quit for now.
- 16:34Speaker 10: Yeah, she said she made her decision. She said at
- 16:36Speaker 10: the moment, she's like, I can't be a part of this.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Was it on TV?
- 16:39Speaker 10: It was on her social media that she posted it.
- 16:42Speaker 10: So I kind of feel.
- 16:43Speaker 17: Like if they said, okay, you don't have to do this, this,
- 16:47Speaker 17: and this, she may be back.
- 16:48Speaker 10: I don't think it was like, I'm quitting for good.
- 16:51Speaker 4: Is it more like she's jealous of the Taylor Frankie
- 16:53Speaker 4: Paul getting all the publicity for being negative for negative stuff?
- 16:56Speaker 4: So she quit her job. She quit her job. So
- 16:58Speaker 4: she quit her job on social media. We want to
- 17:01Speaker 4: get into iconic ways you quit your job. All right,
- 17:04Speaker 4: so 877-937-1047. I might throw some Kanye tickets in there
- 17:07Speaker 4: for you. And it made me think of this world-famous DJ.
- 17:12Speaker 4: And she's only world famous because of the way she
- 17:14Speaker 4: quit her job. She's live on the air. Inetta the Moodsetter.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Here's what happened.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Do it to it.
- 17:30Speaker 6: What better song to do it to it?
- 17:33Speaker 3: It's our net of the moveset.
- 17:34Speaker 6: And I told you I had a very important announcement.
- 17:38Speaker 14: And here it is.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I refuse.
- 17:41Speaker 6: I refuse to walk around and watch people on my
- 17:44Speaker 6: job looking over my shoulder. People lying to me. People
- 17:49Speaker 6: talking about me.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It's ridiculous.
- 17:52Speaker 6: It is sad. I can't take it. I'm not going
- 17:55Speaker 6: to take it. I don't have to take it. I'm
- 17:58Speaker 6: not a dummy. I know how to find another job.
- 18:02Speaker 6: But I refuse to walk around people. You can say
- 18:04Speaker 6: what you want to say about me.
- 18:06Speaker 23: And if you see me on the street.
- 18:08Speaker 6: I'll let you know whatever you want to know.
- 18:10Speaker 2: But I refuse.
- 18:12Speaker 6: For the last six years, I made $ 6 an hour.
- 18:16Speaker 6: That ain't nothing. I just got a raise after six years.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I know I'm qualified.
- 18:22Speaker 6: And after saying this, I don't care if I ever
- 18:25Speaker 6: get another job in radio, period. It does not matter
- 18:29Speaker 6: to me. I never will not be set in the
- 18:33Speaker 6: mood at BLX no more. I refuse to walk around
- 18:38Speaker 6: with people that speak to you. Hey, I never.
- 18:42Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 18:43Speaker 6: But as soon as you walk by that bitch, I
- 18:46Speaker 6: will not do it to myself anymore. So if you're
- 18:49Speaker 6: confused about what I'm saying, listen very carefully.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I quit this bitch on a big station.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that's actually. That's how she quit her job. So
- 19:00Speaker 4: we want to know the iconic way you quit your job. Taj,
- 19:03Speaker 4: you're on the air. Good morning.
- 19:04Speaker 15: Hey, good morning.
- 19:06Speaker 24: Back when I used to live in California, I worked
- 19:09Speaker 24: for a place that did enterprise computers, which is where
- 19:11Speaker 24: you program every computer to work for the same company.
- 19:15Speaker 24: And my boss had told me something to do, but
- 19:17Speaker 24: my higher up boss had already given me an assignment.
- 19:20Speaker 24: So I told him no. He called me the B word.
- 19:23Speaker 24: So I flipped every single computer in that place onto
- 19:26Speaker 24: the floor and And I tried to fight him, and
- 19:28Speaker 24: I walked out and never looked back.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 19:30Speaker 3: That is iconic.
- 19:32Speaker 8: Dang.
- 19:33Speaker 3: That is iconic.
- 19:35Speaker 4: When you say you tried to fight him, what do
- 19:36Speaker 4: you mean? Like you went at him?
- 19:39Speaker 13: Oh, I did.
- 19:40Speaker 24: I told him to meet me outside.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. That's a challenge.
- 19:43Speaker 9: Right.
- 19:43Speaker 3: He needs to watch his mouth. Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 24: He was like six foot something.
- 19:47Speaker 19: He was like big dude.
- 19:48Speaker 24: And yeah, he called me out. on my name.
- 19:53Speaker 4: So it was up. Mm-hmm. 877-937-1047. I quit this bitch.
- 19:57Speaker 4: We will get into that next with John Jane Rich.
- 20:00Speaker 4: John Jane Rich. I quit this bitch.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Take this job.
- 20:04Speaker 4: All right. So in the... Entertainment world, one of the
- 20:08Speaker 4: girls in the Mormon wives quit on social media yesterday.
- 20:11Speaker 4: We got some Kanye tickets. We thought we want to
- 20:13Speaker 4: hear about the iconic way you quit your job, and
- 20:15Speaker 4: we'll give you Kanye tickets. Jennifer, tell us about the
- 20:17Speaker 4: iconic way you quit your job.
- 20:19Speaker 18: We had one of our, like, triage nurses who worked nights,
- 20:25Speaker 18: and he would always, like, kind of complain about, well,
- 20:29Speaker 18: I can't do this because of this reason, or I'm
- 20:32Speaker 18: the only guy here, so I can't do this with
- 20:34Speaker 18: a female patient. And so we would tell him, just
- 20:37Speaker 18: reach out to the supervisor, which was me, female nurse,
- 20:41Speaker 18: and I could come in and help you. So he
- 20:43Speaker 18: complained and complained and complained. And one day he sat up,
- 20:48Speaker 18: like literally we work in a locked facility. So like
- 20:52Speaker 18: he propped the doors open to where he could get
- 20:54Speaker 18: out and leave his keys on his desk. But the
- 20:57Speaker 18: iconic part about it was he turned on this video
- 21:01Speaker 18: on YouTube and it's been two years and people still
- 21:04Speaker 18: talk about this. It's called F This Job on YouTube.
- 21:08Speaker 18: And so it says, F this job, I quit. F
- 21:12Speaker 18: this job, I don't need this B word.
- 21:14Speaker 13: And that's the song.
- 21:15Speaker 18: And so people literally laugh and talk about it all
- 21:18Speaker 18: the time when they're like, oh my God, I'm going
- 21:19Speaker 18: to quit. And they're like, are you going to do
- 21:21Speaker 18: what so-and-so did.
- 21:22Speaker 13: And play the song?
- 21:23Speaker 18: So when his boss walked in, It was playing on repeat.
- 21:27Speaker 18: His keys were on the desk. His badge was on
- 21:29Speaker 18: the desk. I was like, oh, my God, that's awesome.
- 21:31Speaker 3: It was literally his walkout song.
- 21:34Speaker 8: Yes.
- 21:34Speaker 18: It was like playing on repeat over and over. And
- 21:36Speaker 18: we're like, did he seriously just do that?
- 21:40Speaker 4: I have it right here. I have the song right
- 21:41Speaker 4: here queued up. Just kidding. I don't.
- 21:44Speaker 10: That would have been perfect.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I was going to make Rich panic.
- 21:48Speaker 21: I did.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Christine, good morning. Iconic way you quit your job.
- 21:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:53Speaker 19: So long story short, I opened up a kind of
- 21:56Speaker 19: like a hair blow dry bar in Scottsdale. And there
- 22:00Speaker 19: was a show that was there trying to go on
- 22:02Speaker 19: with like the Real Housewives of Scottsdale or something like that.
- 22:06Speaker 19: So all these girls were coming in. And there was
- 22:09Speaker 19: only like five of us there. And I kept getting
- 22:11Speaker 19: a call from my boyfriend. And I'm like, what is
- 22:14Speaker 19: going on? I'm like, I need to go answer this.
- 22:16Speaker 19: So I answered it. And he's like, very sick, like
- 22:20Speaker 19: throwing up, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. He's like, my
- 22:23Speaker 19: manager's going to take me to the ER. You need
- 22:26Speaker 19: to come there and meet me there. And I'm like, okay, okay.
- 22:28Speaker 19: So I go ask the manager. I'm like, hey, I
- 22:30Speaker 19: have to leave. Like, I don't have any choice.
- 22:32Speaker 15: I'm like, no, you can't.
- 22:34Speaker 19: And I'm like, well, this is kind of an emergency.
- 22:36Speaker 8: I need to.
- 22:37Speaker 19: I'm like, no, you can't. Skulls are way more important
- 22:40Speaker 19: than your boyfriend. And I'm like, oh, is that what
- 22:43Speaker 19: that is?
- 22:43Speaker 15: Okay.
- 22:44Speaker 19: Well, come to find out he was at the ER
- 22:46Speaker 19: and he's like a pre-diabetic now or then. So, I'm like, no,
- 22:51Speaker 19: you know what? I'm sorry.
- 22:52Speaker 9: Don't you do hair?
- 22:53Speaker 19: You open this for a reason. So I think you
- 22:55Speaker 19: should do the Scottsdale girl's hair. And I just walked
- 22:59Speaker 19: out and I came back the next day and I
- 23:02Speaker 19: told her, I was like, hey, so do you think
- 23:04Speaker 19: that was really right of you to do that when
- 23:06Speaker 19: my boyfriend almost died? And she's like, yeah, I think
- 23:08Speaker 19: there's still a little bit more important than your boyfriend.
- 23:11Speaker 3: She doubled down. I was like, wow.
- 23:14Speaker 11: Okay.
- 23:18Speaker 19: I'll never tell anyone to go there or work there again.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Sounds good. Then you turned around and quit?
- 23:24Speaker 19: Yeah, I did quit that day when he was calling me.
- 23:27Speaker 19: But I went back the next day and asked to
- 23:29Speaker 19: tell her. Yes, I'm like, get out of here. Who
- 23:32Speaker 19: cares about these soft-sail girls? They never even made a
- 23:34Speaker 19: show anyway.
- 23:35Speaker 3: That's right. I haven't seen that show.
- 23:37Speaker 4: Susanna, thanks for holding. Tell us about the iconic way
- 23:39Speaker 4: you quit your job.
- 23:40Speaker 22: So I used to work for a dental company. company
- 23:43Speaker 22: that also had a non-profit which was basically non-existent because
- 23:46Speaker 22: the guy I worked for was just a piece of
- 23:49Speaker 22: you know what and he would just take donations and
- 23:53Speaker 22: keep them and stuff and one time they had like
- 23:55Speaker 22: this big convention thing for people to go at the
- 24:00Speaker 22: convention center this was like eight years ago everybody would
- 24:03Speaker 22: go there and then you would get free stuff you
- 24:05Speaker 22: could get like free dental and vision and then you
- 24:07Speaker 22: would get good effects and stuff I don't remember the
- 24:09Speaker 22: name of it And the guy told me, yeah, if
- 24:11Speaker 22: you guys come with your mobile clinic and give stuff
- 24:14Speaker 22: out to people, we'll make a really big donation. I
- 24:17Speaker 22: told my boss about it. He was like, oh, I
- 24:19Speaker 22: can't afford to pay you guys to go. So I
- 24:22Speaker 22: convinced my whole team to go and donate our time.
- 24:24Speaker 22: And the company that was having us there said, we're
- 24:27Speaker 22: going to give you guys electric toothbrushes for coming. And
- 24:31Speaker 22: we'll treat you guys to lunch since you guys aren't
- 24:33Speaker 22: getting paid.
- 24:33Speaker 7: I was like, OK.
- 24:34Speaker 22: So I convinced my team to go.
- 24:35Speaker 7: It was like five of us.
- 24:37Speaker 24: When we got the.
- 24:37Speaker 22: Donation for the electric toothbrushes and stuff, he took them
- 24:40Speaker 22: with him to his house.
- 24:42Speaker 3: He took all the electric toothbrushes himself?
- 24:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 22: Instead of giving them to myself and the employees, I
- 24:48Speaker 22: was losing it because I was their boss. They were
- 24:51Speaker 22: mad at me because they donated the whole day. I
- 24:56Speaker 22: was just, it was like the tip of the iceberg.
- 24:58Speaker 22: I was already mad about a lot of stuff. It
- 25:00Speaker 22: was like a nonprofit. I was underpaid, but you know, oh,
- 25:03Speaker 22: it's for the kids and blah, blah, blah. And I
- 25:04Speaker 22: was like, no, I'm trying to be a good person.
- 25:06Speaker 22: At the end, I was like, F this. So I,
- 25:09Speaker 22: we used to have like audits from like Mercy Care
- 25:12Speaker 22: and like all these places for insurance because we would
- 25:16Speaker 22: also take insurance apart from the nonprofit. So I scheduled
- 25:19Speaker 22: it on a day and I didn't tell him about it.
- 25:21Speaker 22: And since he really didn't know much about it, I
- 25:23Speaker 22: was like full time and running.
- 25:25Speaker 24: Everything for him.
- 25:26Speaker 22: I told him to meet me at the mobile on
- 25:27Speaker 22: the same day. And then when the lady walked in
- 25:29Speaker 22: and he walked in there first, the lady walked in.
- 25:32Speaker 22: He was like, oh, who is this? He had like
- 25:33Speaker 22: a big German accent.
- 25:34Speaker 6: He was like, who is this?
- 25:36Speaker 22: And I was like, oh, this is Mercy Care. And
- 25:39Speaker 22: F you, I quit.
- 25:41Speaker 20: And the lady just looked at me.
- 25:43Speaker 22: Like, she was, like, staring at me, like, with big eyes.
- 25:46Speaker 22: And I was like, yeah, bye.
- 25:47Speaker 7: And I was leaving.
- 25:48Speaker 22: She was like, so when do you go out the door?
- 25:50Speaker 22: I was like, yeah, I'm going out the freaking door.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I was like, bye.
- 25:54Speaker 7: And I left.
- 25:55Speaker 22: I was really mad. And then after that, I heard
- 25:57Speaker 22: some stuff that they got, like, a bunch of red
- 26:00Speaker 22: flags because things weren't in order. Because you have to
- 26:02Speaker 22: prepare for an audit, you know? Like, you have to
- 26:05Speaker 22: be clean and do, like, a bunch of stuff. I
- 26:07Speaker 22: didn't do any of it. And I don't regret it.
- 26:09Speaker 22: And people that I tell this story to, they're like, oh,
- 26:11Speaker 22: but the kids. I'm like, no. He didn't give a
- 26:13Speaker 22: shit about the kids.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Okay, now you cuss. Now you're out. Robert, tell us
- 26:17Speaker 4: about the iconic way you quit your job.
- 26:20Speaker 8: Good morning. So it wasn't me, but back when I
- 26:24Speaker 8: was probably like 20 years old, I had a friend
- 26:27Speaker 8: that I had staying with me, and he worked at
- 26:29Speaker 8: a dollar store. And he didn't like the way everything
- 26:32Speaker 8: was going there and the way they were treating him
- 26:34Speaker 8: and how he was getting paid. So one day him
- 26:36Speaker 8: and another one of my buddies decided to go rob
- 26:39Speaker 8: the place.
- 26:40Speaker 18: Oh, my gosh.
- 26:41Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 8: They went in and they robbed it. They got away
- 26:44Speaker 8: with probably like $ 6, 000, but they used my friend's car and,
- 26:50Speaker 8: you know, they found the license plate. And the way
- 26:52Speaker 8: I found out, which was really weird, because at the
- 26:54Speaker 8: time I worked in the corrections field and I went
- 26:59Speaker 8: into a housing unit and there was my buddy that
- 27:01Speaker 8: I would let him stay with me for a couple
- 27:03Speaker 8: of weeks. And I was like, what happened? He was like,
- 27:06Speaker 8: they just weren't paying me right. And I didn't like it.
- 27:09Speaker 8: So I decided to go rob it and Get the
- 27:12Speaker 8: money out of it. And I'm like, I guess you quit, huh?
- 27:15Speaker 4: He's like, yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 8: So I was like, that's a pretty weird way to
- 27:19Speaker 8: try to quit a job.
- 27:20Speaker 4: So he stole 6,000 items from the dollar store. 6,000.
- 27:24Speaker 4: They're all a dollar.
- 27:26Speaker 8: Pretty much.
- 27:26Speaker 4: You filled up your apartment with stuff. All right.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Hold on, Robert. That's going to be at least most
- 27:31Speaker 3: of the store.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Hey, Taj, how are you? Thanks for holding. Taj is
- 27:36Speaker 4: the one that started this whole thing. She quit her job,
- 27:38Speaker 4: flipped over all the computers, and tried to fight her
- 27:40Speaker 4: six-foot-four boss.
- 27:41Speaker 10: Big time.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Pretty iconic.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Taj, you want to go see Kanye West? Oh, my God, yes.
- 27:47Speaker 4: All right, you win. You are our winner.
- 27:49Speaker 19: Yay!
- 27:49Speaker 11: Oh, wow.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Just don't quit.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 27:51Speaker 24: Thank you guys so much.
- 27:53Speaker 4: You got it, because you didn't quit. You stayed on
- 27:56Speaker 4: the line. You didn't quit.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I quit this bitch.
- 27:59Speaker 4: You're going to go see Kanye West in November. We're
- 28:01Speaker 4: going to set you up. Hold on the line. So
- 28:05Speaker 4: Nick and his family were just at Disneyland and something
- 28:10Speaker 4: magical happened. I mean, several magical things happen, but this
- 28:13Speaker 4: is really different. You never know what's going to happen
- 28:14Speaker 4: to you at Disneyland, right? Yeah, it's really weird.
- 28:16Speaker 1: And you talk about like the magical moments that people
- 28:19Speaker 1: can have at Disneyland. And we've had some in the past,
- 28:24Speaker 1: but this last one, we took our kids and they
- 28:27Speaker 1: were so good all day. And like we opened the
- 28:31Speaker 1: park and And we're closing the park. That was the plan.
- 28:34Speaker 1: And they're six and four years old. And as throughout
- 28:38Speaker 1: the day, we're like, if you guys keep this up,
- 28:39Speaker 1: we're going to let you get two toys at the
- 28:41Speaker 1: end of the day. We're going to let you get
- 28:42Speaker 1: two toys. So we come around. We're going to the
- 28:46Speaker 1: stores at the end of the day. And then the
- 28:47Speaker 1: fireworks display is starting. And so, you know, like their
- 28:50Speaker 1: crowds are going crazy. And we make a right turn
- 28:55Speaker 1: into the store. And it's closed. I'm like, oh, that's weird.
- 28:58Speaker 1: So they keep going down, keep going down the aisle,
- 28:59Speaker 1: keep going down the road, street. Turns out all the
- 29:03Speaker 1: stores on Main Street were closed. Every single one of them.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Somebody tried to like steal like a high end item
- 29:09Speaker 1: and they went into lockdown mode. So all of all
- 29:12Speaker 1: of the stores are closed.
- 29:13Speaker 3: My kids are not normally closed.
- 29:15Speaker 11: So good.
- 29:16Speaker 4: We're supposed to get.
- 29:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:17Speaker 1: And so they're like, you know, they're not throwing fits,
- 29:20Speaker 1: but they're upset. And my wife takes him into like
- 29:23Speaker 1: the hat store was the only place that was still open.
- 29:25Speaker 1: And we go in and you could tell they're bummed.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And a cast member came up and was like, did
- 29:32Speaker 1: you guys get to meet any friends today? And they're like, well, yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 1: She's like, come with me. And around the corner. I'm
- 29:40Speaker 1: getting goosebumps just talking about it, was Mickey and Pluto
- 29:45Speaker 1: by themselves.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Wow.
- 29:46Speaker 1: My son had just been waiting for Pluto all day.
- 29:51Speaker 1: He was like, like we had a full like 15
- 29:54Speaker 1: minutes to just take pictures. They got to pet Pluto
- 29:57Speaker 1: and play with them. And it was like the most
- 29:59Speaker 1: beautiful thing. I'll throw up a couple of photos because, yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 1: it was it was it was.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Did you cry? I would have cried.
- 30:05Speaker 1: It was a tear-jerking moment.
- 30:07Speaker 3: For sure.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I had to leave because I was just like, oh,
- 30:10Speaker 1: my God, this is beautiful.
- 30:13Speaker 19: You know what?
- 30:14Speaker 4: If you could put up photos, that'd be fantastic in
- 30:16Speaker 4: our stories because I love to see it. Especially that
- 30:17Speaker 4: there was no line. I mean, because it was VIP.
- 30:20Speaker 4: And it was literally... They were just pulling you aside
- 30:22Speaker 4: because those cast members are so good. They're so special.
- 30:26Speaker 4: And it's like it's the end of the day. It's
- 30:28Speaker 4: like almost 11 o'clock at night.
- 30:30Speaker 1: And like, what? Mickey should be in bed by then. No,
- 30:32Speaker 1: he's just making dreams come true.
- 30:35Speaker 4: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 30:36Speaker 1: The next segment we're going to do is called Second
- 30:39Speaker 1: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and get.
- 30:41Speaker 2: And that's what the bit is called. Second Date Update
- 30:44Speaker 2: starts right now on John Jay and Rich.
- 30:47Speaker 4: It's time for Second Date Update. Drake. Good morning. You're
- 30:50Speaker 4: on the air, man.
- 30:51Speaker 11: Hey, Hey, man.
- 30:52Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Good morning. Tell us a little bit about your date.
- 30:55Speaker 4: What happened? What's the story?
- 30:57Speaker 7: All right.
- 30:58Speaker 5: So, look, I'm confused. I thought we had a... I
- 31:01Speaker 5: thought the date went really good. I mean, we went out,
- 31:03Speaker 5: we had drinks, the vibe was there. I mean, she
- 31:05Speaker 5: ended up coming back to my place and things happened and,
- 31:10Speaker 5: you know, she stayed for a while after.
- 31:12Speaker 4: So, I mean, I.
- 31:14Speaker 5: I don't know. It wasn't like she immediately regretted it because,
- 31:17Speaker 5: like I said, she stayed the night and even stayed
- 31:19Speaker 5: for a little bit when we woke up. And I
- 31:21Speaker 5: don't know. I guess the only thing I can think
- 31:25Speaker 5: of is... All right, so I have an ant problem
- 31:30Speaker 5: in my apartment right now. And it's not like my
- 31:34Speaker 5: apartment's disgusting or anything. I just... Look, I've even had
- 31:38Speaker 5: pest control come out. It's just, I don't know. These
- 31:39Speaker 5: ants are relentless.
- 31:40Speaker 6: And.
- 31:41Speaker 5: She definitely saw a few in my kitchen, and I
- 31:42Speaker 5: remember her being like, do you have, like, an ant problem?
- 31:47Speaker 5: And I was like, well, okay, look. And then I
- 31:49Speaker 5: explained the whole thing I just told you guys to her.
- 31:51Speaker 5: And I didn't think it was, like, a big deal.
- 31:53Speaker 5: I mean, obviously, I was embarrassed, but everything seemed fine.
- 31:56Speaker 5: And when she left the next morning, I texted her
- 31:58Speaker 5: the next day. Nothing.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Called her.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Nothing. Called her again.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 32:03Speaker 5: And at this point, I've definitely been ghosted, and I
- 32:05Speaker 5: just need to know if, I don't know, if she
- 32:07Speaker 5: stopped talking to me because of my freaking ant problem
- 32:09Speaker 5: in my apartment.
- 32:10Speaker 10: Did you guys hook up before she saw the ants
- 32:12Speaker 10: or after the ants?
- 32:14Speaker 9: After.
- 32:14Speaker 5: Okay.
- 32:15Speaker 10: So I don't think the ants are a problem.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but what if the.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Ants crawled at her when she's lying in bed? Oh, yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 17: She's like, before, this didn't bother me, but now, yeah.
- 32:23Speaker 17: She's got, like, ant bites everywhere.
- 32:25Speaker 10: They fire ants.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Drake's like, um.
- 32:29Speaker 4: All right, well, what's her name?
- 32:32Speaker 1: Gina.
- 32:32Speaker 4: And how'd you guys meet?
- 32:34Speaker 5: Through the apps. Okay.
- 32:35Speaker 4: All right, well, we'll get her on the phone. We're
- 32:38Speaker 4: going to find out why she's blowing you off. Is
- 32:39Speaker 4: it an ant problem or something else? Because you're saying
- 32:42Speaker 4: you guys fooled around. Like, things happen. Like, she woke
- 32:46Speaker 4: up in your bed, and then she's not.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Okay. That's interesting.
- 32:50Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 32:50Speaker 4: All right. Yeah. All right. Well, hang tight. We'll get
- 32:53Speaker 4: Gene on the phone. We're going to find out why
- 32:54Speaker 4: she's blowing you off. Second Aid Update continues next with
- 32:56Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich.
- 32:57Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich. We are like a whole vibe.
- 33:02Speaker 4: All right, we're in the middle of a second date update.
- 33:04Speaker 4: We got Drake and Gina.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Well, Drake and Gina had a great first date. In fact,
- 33:08Speaker 3: the chemistry was flowing. It flowed so well that she
- 33:11Speaker 3: stayed the night. But they made sweet, sweet love over
- 33:16Speaker 3: and over again, but she is freezing him out. Could
- 33:19Speaker 3: it be the bug infestation in his apartment? His kitchen
- 33:23Speaker 3: is an alien ant farm, and he can't get rid
- 33:25Speaker 3: of the ants. Are the bugs the reason she has
- 33:28Speaker 3: bugged out and is not saying hello to him anymore?
- 33:31Speaker 3: We're going to find him.
- 33:32Speaker 4: All right, Drake, are you ready?
- 33:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 4: All right, here we go. I believe she's ready to go. Dylan,
- 33:37Speaker 4: she's ready to go.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Gina?
- 33:40Speaker 7: Hi.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Hi. Hey, thanks for jumping on the air with us.
- 33:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:44Speaker 4: So listen, there's a guy that called us, said he
- 33:48Speaker 4: met this great girl, went on a date with this girl.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Everything was great. She spent the night, you know, the usual,
- 33:52Speaker 4: what happens when you spend the night. Anyway, she's ghosting him.
- 33:56Speaker 4: So we thought we would call the girl and find
- 33:57Speaker 4: out why she's ghosting him. Here's the deal, Gina. You're
- 34:00Speaker 4: that girl.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Are you ghosting somebody recently?
- 34:05Speaker 13: Not that I can remember.
- 34:06Speaker 4: We're talking about a guy named Drake.
- 34:09Speaker 23: Drake.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Drake.
- 34:13Speaker 6: Ah, hold on.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Let me.
- 34:16Speaker 13: Go through my Rolodex. Hold on.
- 34:18Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Your Rolodex?
- 34:21Speaker 10: Wait, what? How many guys? I.
- 34:24Speaker 13: Okay, so, no, I can't date him. I literally can't. Like,
- 34:29Speaker 13: he was so cool. Like, we had so much fun
- 34:31Speaker 13: on the date. The sex was fine.
- 34:35Speaker 15: Even, like, good, I guess.
- 34:36Speaker 13: But he.
- 34:38Speaker 23: Oh, my God.
- 34:39Speaker 13: He has a toupee. He has a toupee. And he, like,
- 34:44Speaker 13: takes it off at night, okay? which I didn't know that.
- 34:48Speaker 13: I had no idea. I was laying in his bed
- 34:52Speaker 13: after we did our thing, and I went to the bathroom,
- 34:55Speaker 13: couldn't find any toilet paper, looked inside his bathroom cabinet,
- 34:59Speaker 13: and when I opened the cabinet, there were literally two
- 35:03Speaker 13: mannequin heads with toupees on them. At first, I was like,
- 35:06Speaker 13: what the f * * * is that?
- 35:09Speaker 5: It was so creepy.
- 35:11Speaker 13: But it was the middle of the night. I didn't
- 35:12Speaker 13: say anything, so... I found toilet paper, go back to bed.
- 35:16Speaker 13: And then I don't know, somewhere in the middle of
- 35:20Speaker 13: the night, I woke up and I rolled over and
- 35:23Speaker 13: a literal full on jump scare because this man had
- 35:27Speaker 13: no hair on his head, no hair on the top
- 35:29Speaker 13: of his head. I was like, is this a different guy?
- 35:31Speaker 13: I had no idea.
- 35:32Speaker 5: I freaked out.
- 35:34Speaker 13: I realized it was him, but like, I just had no,
- 35:37Speaker 13: I was so thrown off by the fact that like
- 35:39Speaker 13: we went on the date and he had hair. And
- 35:41Speaker 13: then I see these things in his cabinet. And then
- 35:44Speaker 13: I see all of a sudden him in bed with
- 35:45Speaker 13: no hair on. Like, I'm sorry. I just, it was
- 35:48Speaker 13: a completely different guy. Like, I can't go on another
- 35:51Speaker 13: date with him. I'm sorry. I have daddy issues. I
- 35:53Speaker 13: don't know, bald men. I just hightailed it out of there.
- 35:58Speaker 5: I cannot. I cannot.
- 35:59Speaker 18: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Gina, seriously.
- 36:01Speaker 5: It's Drake.
- 36:02Speaker 9: Gina.
- 36:03Speaker 2: What?
- 36:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 13: Hi.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Hi.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Wow.
- 36:15Speaker 5: Unfortunately, I heard.
- 36:18Speaker 9: All of that. No.
- 36:20Speaker 11: No, you didn't. Oh, my God.
- 36:22Speaker 13: I had no idea you were on the phone.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Oh, my God. I'm so sorry.
- 36:26Speaker 13: Like, that came off as so mean.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Yeah. I mean, jump scare was a little brutal.
- 36:34Speaker 13: I'm so sorry. You're literally so sweet. I just... I
- 36:37Speaker 13: don't know, the hair thing really threw me off. Like,
- 36:39Speaker 13: I woke up and I just, you were bald.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Look, it's genetics. Look, I started losing my hair when I.
- 36:44Speaker 13: Was super young.
- 36:46Speaker 4: I can't control that.
- 36:47Speaker 13: No, I get it. I get it. I know, like,
- 36:49Speaker 13: you can't help it, right? I know it's shallow. Like,
- 36:52Speaker 13: I fully take accountability for that, but I'm sorry, I can't.
- 36:56Speaker 13: Bald men are just a thing, dude. I have these
- 37:00Speaker 13: weird trauma over bald heads.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Okay, okay, I get it, I get it.
- 37:06Speaker 9: I feel bad for him.
- 37:07Speaker 5: Can I ask you something? All right. How is me
- 37:11Speaker 5: wearing a hairpiece any different than a girl wearing a
- 37:14Speaker 5: wig or extensions?
- 37:17Speaker 13: I mean, technically, I guess it's not.
- 37:20Speaker 14: Yeah, it's not.
- 37:21Speaker 5: And you couldn't even tell me on the date? You
- 37:24Speaker 5: only know because you went and looked in my cabinet
- 37:25Speaker 5: and saw them.
- 37:27Speaker 13: Well, you had, like, you went from a full head
- 37:29Speaker 13: of hair to... to somebody's uncle at 3 a.m. I
- 37:32Speaker 13: wasn't prepared. I was also not prepared to see mannequins
- 37:37Speaker 13: underneath your cabinet in the middle of the night. That
- 37:40Speaker 13: was crazy.
- 37:41Speaker 3: That's true.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Why am I being punished for my genetics?
- 37:44Speaker 13: Look, you're so cute with your hair. I don't know.
- 37:49Speaker 9: All right.
- 37:52Speaker 5: If you liked me and liked the date and apparently...
- 37:55Speaker 5: The sex.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Was good enough.
- 37:58Speaker 3: She said fine. She said fine. She said it was fine.
- 38:01Speaker 3: She said fine.
- 38:02Speaker 13: It was fine.
- 38:03Speaker 5: But then why does finding out my biological hair suddenly
- 38:06Speaker 5: change everything?
- 38:08Speaker 3: I mean, if the sex was fine, you might as
- 38:09Speaker 3: well go out again.
- 38:12Speaker 13: It was better than, you know, what I've had in
- 38:15Speaker 13: the past. I mean, okay, when you say it like that,
- 38:17Speaker 13: I sound like such an asshole.
- 38:20Speaker 5: Okay. Okay. All right. I'm not saying you have to
- 38:25Speaker 5: date me or whatever. I'm just saying ghosting me because
- 38:30Speaker 5: of my hair genetics kind of sucks.
- 38:35Speaker 6: I mean, yeah.
- 38:38Speaker 13: I will definitely take accountability for that part. I shouldn't
- 38:41Speaker 13: have ghosted you. I should have just told you. But
- 38:44Speaker 13: you know, maybe you could have told me before we
- 38:46Speaker 13: slept together.
- 38:48Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you my opinion. I think toupees,
- 38:50Speaker 4: I don't think it's the same as extensions for women
- 38:53Speaker 4: and wigs.
- 38:54Speaker 10: It's a different vibe.
- 38:56Speaker 4: I think toupees got kind of creepy, especially when she
- 38:58Speaker 4: opened up the cabinet and saw two heads.
- 39:00Speaker 10: She didn't notice it before, so it's a good one,
- 39:02Speaker 10: I guess.
- 39:03Speaker 4: Well, I'm sure it's a good one. I mean, they
- 39:04Speaker 4: went through the whole night. I appreciate that he's confident
- 39:06Speaker 4: enough to take it off and go to bed. Right.
- 39:08Speaker 9: Right.
- 39:09Speaker 4: But that seems like, but I think if you're going
- 39:12Speaker 4: to take it off and go to bed, then you
- 39:13Speaker 4: should probably say somewhere on the dating app, by the way,
- 39:15Speaker 4: I wear a toupee. I wear a hairpiece. I think
- 39:17Speaker 4: they're kind of creepy looking.
- 39:19Speaker 10: She wasn't creeped out until she saw it off though.
- 39:22Speaker 22: Right.
- 39:22Speaker 17: It's almost like now you don't have to like date
- 39:24Speaker 17: someone and wonder like, are they gonna get bald as
- 39:26Speaker 17: you get older?
- 39:27Speaker 10: You already know he is and he's taking care of it.
- 39:31Speaker 4: I knew this girl one time. She went on a
- 39:32Speaker 4: date with a guy, and she said when they were
- 39:34Speaker 4: making out, she would put her hands through his hair,
- 39:37Speaker 4: and he had one of those toupees. I don't know
- 39:39Speaker 4: if they still do anymore, but it was like a
- 39:41Speaker 4: snap on his skull. Like you get surgically put out
- 39:45Speaker 4: a skull, and she couldn't get her hand through her hair,
- 39:48Speaker 4: and she went like this, and it popped off. It
- 39:50Speaker 4: was like, oh, yeah. She was screaming.
- 39:52Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 39:52Speaker 20: Oh, no.
- 39:55Speaker 1: And she did not date him again.
- 39:58Speaker 3: That would be a very traumatizing.
- 39:59Speaker 4: I just don't want you to have a toupee. The
- 40:01Speaker 4: people I've known in my life that have toupees, they
- 40:03Speaker 4: were always strange people. There's always something a little different
- 40:08Speaker 4: about them.
- 40:09Speaker 3: It's not just the hair.
- 40:10Speaker 10: Drake seems perfectly fine.
- 40:12Speaker 4: I don't know Drake.
- 40:12Speaker 1: He's just trying to.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Look, listen.
- 40:14Speaker 17: Not everybody can afford the other fixes you would have
- 40:17Speaker 17: for that. So he's just doing, he's trying his best.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Literally, I just saw on Instagram, Drake Paul get a
- 40:25Speaker 2: toupee from some guy in Phoenix.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Drake Paul?
- 40:28Speaker 2: No, Jake Paul.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Jake Paul has a toupee?
- 40:32Speaker 10: Look, he's literally, I just pulled the video up on Instagram.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Yes, this is him. That looks like him.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Oh, but he's shaving his head.
- 40:38Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 40:38Speaker 3: He's doing a bit.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Because his hair's thinning.
- 40:40Speaker 10: No, they are about to put a toupee on him.
- 40:42Speaker 3: That's what they do.
- 40:42Speaker 17: They do like the custom piece and then they like literally, they, yeah,
- 40:47Speaker 17: they glue it on.
- 40:48Speaker 16: Yes.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Right, right. No, I know. But what I'm saying is
- 40:50Speaker 4: it looks like he shaved his head to put the
- 40:52Speaker 4: toupee on.
- 40:52Speaker 2: No, look at the beginning.
- 40:53Speaker 1: His hair was so thin.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it is. So he cut it all and then
- 40:56Speaker 4: they put the toupee on.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Well, I mean, look, you've already got kind of a
- 41:00Speaker 3: winner here in Drake, Gina. His lovemaking is okay. So
- 41:05Speaker 3: why not go out again?
- 41:06Speaker 5: It's fine.
- 41:07Speaker 3: It's just fine.
- 41:07Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 4: And if you go to dinner, you know, you don't
- 41:10Speaker 4: have to pay.
- 41:10Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 41:15Speaker 13: So embarrassed. Honestly, I don't even, I just can't, I
- 41:19Speaker 13: need to abort the situation. I just, I need to go.
- 41:23Speaker 4: All right. So no second date update. So, so Drake,
- 41:26Speaker 4: that's the deal. She was freaked out by your toupee.
- 41:28Speaker 4: That's why she ghosted you. It wasn't the ants in
- 41:30Speaker 4: the kitchen after all. Okay.
- 41:32Speaker 5: I guess I'll just rock the ball looks.
- 41:34Speaker 4: There you go.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Live it.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Yeah, be proud.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Own it. Thanks, Drake. Thanks for calling. I'm glad we
- 41:40Speaker 4: got an answer for you. Gina, thanks for jumping on
- 41:42Speaker 4: the air with us.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Thanks, guys.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I think we helped.
- 41:47Speaker 4: It's John Jay and Rich. John Jay and Rich! Number
- 41:50Speaker 4: one movie in the box office, Practical Magic, right? The witches,
- 41:53Speaker 4: the witches. And because of that show, we're going to
- 41:55Speaker 4: have a witch on our show. that can reverse the curse.
- 41:59Speaker 3: That's pretty cool.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Yeah, so if you've been cursed, call us at 877-937-1047
- 42:03Speaker 4: because we can put you on with a witch and
- 42:06Speaker 4: the witch can reverse the curse. Then we're going to
- 42:09Speaker 4: get into hexing your ex. Everything rhymes today.
- 42:13Speaker 3: It's about time.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Hex your ex, reverse the curse. But we're going to
- 42:16Speaker 4: have a real witch on, like a real legitimate, what's her?
- 42:19Speaker 3: She's like a fifth generation witch from the, you know,
- 42:23Speaker 3: where the Salem witch trials, she comes from that kind
- 42:26Speaker 3: of lot.
- 42:27Speaker 6: Wow.
- 42:27Speaker 3: So she can do all kinds of stuff. She is
- 42:30Speaker 3: a magic person.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Christy, you there?
- 42:32Speaker 5: I'm here.
- 42:33Speaker 4: So do you want us to put a hex on
- 42:35Speaker 4: your ex?
- 42:36Speaker 9: Not quite exactly my ex, but my ex career. I
- 42:40Speaker 9: literally walked out of my job this morning.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Oh, right on.
- 42:43Speaker 10: Oh, wow.
- 42:44Speaker 9: I work in the print industry. I print your utility bills.
- 42:48Speaker 9: So think of all like the major companies in Arizona.
- 42:50Speaker 9: I do all the billing for them printing it. And
- 42:54Speaker 9: I just got fed up with the way my management
- 42:55Speaker 9: was handling things.
- 42:57Speaker 4: So you just quit?
- 42:58Speaker 9: I walked in this morning, cleared out my locker, handed
- 43:01Speaker 9: them my key fob.
- 43:02Speaker 4: And walked out. Okay, so you want us to hex?
- 43:04Speaker 9: You want us.
- 43:05Speaker 4: To put a hex on that company?
- 43:07Speaker 5: Yes.
- 43:07Speaker 4: Okay, here we go. Those are evil squirrels.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Well, you don't want to mess with evil squirrels. I'll
- 43:19Speaker 3: tell you that right now. Evil squirrels.
- 43:21Speaker 4: Where's the hex? All right, Christy, have a great day.
- 43:26Speaker 9: Thanks.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Thanks for listening.
- 43:28Speaker 23: You too.
- 43:28Speaker 4: By the way, if you want us to hex your ex,
- 43:30Speaker 4: call us at 877-937-1047. I'm kind of scary. Let's see.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Hello? It's John Jay and Rich. You want to put
- 43:42Speaker 4: a hex on your ex?
- 43:46Speaker 13: No, I'm good there.
- 43:47Speaker 25: That is quite tempting, though.
- 43:51Speaker 4: You had a great witch's laugh, though, in the very beginning.
- 43:53Speaker 4: That was great.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 43:54Speaker 3: It's pretty strong.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:57Speaker 4: What's up, Eric? You're on the air.
- 43:59Speaker 12: So I was listening to you guys last week, and
- 44:02Speaker 12: I was listening to the post-breakup whole thing. And I
- 44:07Speaker 12: do have a story because I spoke to you guys
- 44:09Speaker 12: last November about my breakup.
- 44:11Speaker 7: One day he decided to take a trip for Florida.
- 44:15Speaker 7: He was actually going in there to live with some
- 44:17Speaker 7: other guy he met. He's still trying to find ways
- 44:20Speaker 7: to contact me, to tell me he loves me.
- 44:23Speaker 4: It's almost like I want to talk to him and
- 44:25Speaker 4: give him better lying advice. Because you either lie about
- 44:28Speaker 4: someone dying or you lie you're going to go to
- 44:29Speaker 4: school there.
- 44:29Speaker 8: I know.
- 44:30Speaker 4: I think you can't do the two. Pick one. Pick one.
- 44:32Speaker 7: He's telling all my family members that I cheated on him,
- 44:36Speaker 7: but he's not telling his story.
- 44:38Speaker 4: You need to get away from him.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's bad news.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Far, far away.
- 44:42Speaker 3: You know, that's toxic.
- 44:43Speaker 4: That's bad news, Eric.
- 44:44Speaker 7: I went to therapy.
- 44:45Speaker 12: I got weight loss surgery. I started going to the gym. Um,
- 44:50Speaker 12: I lost already like 95 pounds. Like I'm a different person. And, uh,
- 44:57Speaker 12: he literally sent me a message the other day and
- 45:00Speaker 12: he's like, Oh my God, you look so great. Uh,
- 45:03Speaker 12: would you be down to grab some drinks?
- 45:05Speaker 16: I'm like, hell no.
- 45:07Speaker 17: And that was probably so satisfying.
- 45:12Speaker 6: Okay.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Eric, you want us to put a hex on your ex?
- 45:16Speaker 13: Oh, what?
- 45:17Speaker 4: You want us to put a hex on your ex?
- 45:19Speaker 7: No, I don't care.
- 45:21Speaker 12: I'm like a better person now.
- 45:23Speaker 7: Well, we're not.
- 45:23Speaker 3: We want to put a hex on the X.
- 45:27Speaker 4: What's his name, Eric? What's his name? Michael. Here we go.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Here's the hex on Michael.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Take that, Michael. All right, Eric.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Thank you for calling in, man. Thanks for listening. Thank you. Bye.
- 45:43Speaker 4: We are going to lift your curse.
- 45:45Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 45:48Speaker 4: That is next with The Real Witch.
- 45:50Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 45:51Speaker 1: We are like a whole vibe.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Number one movie at the box office is Practical Magic
- 46:01Speaker 4: 2 about witches and curses. And we actually have a
- 46:04Speaker 4: real witch, a very famous witch, Wendy. Wendy Mata. Wendy,
- 46:08Speaker 4: good morning.
- 46:09Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 46:10Speaker 13: Hello, hello.
- 46:11Speaker 4: Thank you for jumping on our radio show.
- 46:13Speaker 3: I am now going to assault your mind with subliminal messages.
- 46:20Speaker 25: Thank you for calling me.
- 46:22Speaker 16: This sounds really fun, so it's a pleasure.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Well, we have a couple people that we do want to,
- 46:26Speaker 4: because we heard you could break curses and stuff, so
- 46:28Speaker 4: we want to get into that, but we also want
- 46:30Speaker 4: to talk to you about you being a witch and
- 46:32Speaker 4: how did that happen and what gifts do you have
- 46:35Speaker 4: by being a witch?
- 46:36Speaker 16: I believe that a lot of her problems are not
- 46:40Speaker 16: necessarily created by a curse. but by or patterns and actions.
- 46:45Speaker 16: I don't have the right statistics for this, obviously, but
- 46:48Speaker 16: I think that about 85% of the things that are
- 46:50Speaker 16: happening to us, they could be systemic or they could
- 46:53Speaker 16: be or thinking processes or ways and behaviors and actions.
- 46:57Speaker 16: So there's really a very small percentage of situations that
- 47:01Speaker 16: can be related to a curse. If anything, I will
- 47:04Speaker 16: say that we almost curse ourselves with or mindsets.
- 47:07Speaker 3: So if you believe you're cursed, you're cursed.
- 47:09Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 47:09Speaker 3: If you believe you're cursed.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I bet.
- 47:11Speaker 3: It's kind of like what they say, people that say,
- 47:13Speaker 3: I never get sick, never get sick.
- 47:14Speaker 4: How long have you been a witch?
- 47:16Speaker 16: I have been a witch my entire life. I was
- 47:18Speaker 16: born from a family of witches and healers from Mexico,
- 47:22Speaker 16: so I actually don't know how to live life any
- 47:25Speaker 16: other way.
- 47:26Speaker 4: What part of Mexico?
- 47:28Speaker 16: I'm from a small town called Reynosa, Tamaulipas, which is
- 47:31Speaker 16: about 20 minutes from the border with McAllen, Texas.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Oh my God, we're all in McAllen, Texas.
- 47:36Speaker 22: Yes.
- 47:37Speaker 4: We were just there for the parade last December.
- 47:39Speaker 3: The parade of witches.
- 47:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we were in the parade.
- 47:41Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 47:43Speaker 16: Oh, such a small world.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Well, so how about this, Ruka? Then if you're a
- 47:47Speaker 4: Mexican witch, you can tell us, is La Llorona real? Yes.
- 47:52Speaker 11: No.
- 47:53Speaker 16: Absolutely.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Dang.
- 47:55Speaker 13: Yes.
- 47:57Speaker 16: I had a, how can I call it, very creepy
- 48:00Speaker 16: yet very illuminating experience with La Llorona when I was
- 48:04Speaker 16: seven years old. In a rancho that I went with
- 48:07Speaker 16: my family, and I clearly remember the screams and the crying.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 48:12Speaker 16: I'm feeling this coldness from my inside out. It's the
- 48:15Speaker 16: level of coldness that you cannot explain.
- 48:17Speaker 13: Oh, absolutely.
- 48:18Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 48:19Speaker 4: Sarah, you have a curse? You have something going on
- 48:21Speaker 4: in your life?
- 48:22Speaker 1: Now ride the witch's broom.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Ride the witch's broom.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Ride the witch's broom.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Ride the witch's broom.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Tell us a little bit about your scene for when
- 48:32Speaker 4: he can help you.
- 48:34Speaker 21: I actually just lost my sister a month ago, and
- 48:37Speaker 21: we were not on good speaking terms. And when I
- 48:40Speaker 21: found out she was close to passing, I tried to
- 48:42Speaker 21: reach out to her, and she did not respond back.
- 48:45Speaker 21: And ever since then, like, life has just been, like,
- 48:48Speaker 21: been super hard and kicking me in the face. And
- 48:51Speaker 21: I'm like, you know what? She probably just sent me
- 48:53Speaker 21: some bad juju. She probably was like, F that girl.
- 48:55Speaker 21: And then when she passed, I think it just kind
- 48:58Speaker 21: of carried over, so.
- 49:00Speaker 16: So you believe that you got some bad juju.
- 49:02Speaker 13: From your sister or just in general?
- 49:04Speaker 21: From my sister. I think she was, yeah, she was
- 49:07Speaker 21: not happy and she was not happy with me. So
- 49:10Speaker 21: I think before she, I think maybe me reaching out
- 49:12Speaker 21: to her, she kind of was like, you know, what
- 49:15Speaker 21: was the point?
- 49:16Speaker 6: Makes sense.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Some people want to bless their family before they go
- 49:21Speaker 3: to the other side. Your sister just left you one
- 49:23Speaker 3: little like, gotcha.
- 49:25Speaker 7: Yep.
- 49:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 49:26Speaker 24: That's how I feel like, yes.
- 49:28Speaker 16: One of the things that I will recommend is, I
- 49:31Speaker 16: don't know if you are familiar with ancestral work, which is,
- 49:35Speaker 16: the people in our family or that we feel like
- 49:39Speaker 16: our family that pass. So those become our ancestors. And
- 49:42Speaker 16: sometimes our ancestors can be, yes, sending us some of
- 49:45Speaker 16: the love and some of the blessings, and they can
- 49:47Speaker 16: also be sending some negativity because they are just detaching
- 49:52Speaker 16: from the human experience. So my first recommendation will be
- 49:55Speaker 16: to light a white candle to your sister and to
- 49:58Speaker 16: release her to whatever you believe in. If you believe
- 50:00Speaker 16: in God, release her to God and the heavens. If
- 50:03Speaker 16: you believe in nature, release.
- 50:04Speaker 13: Her to nature.
- 50:05Speaker 14: If you believe on the earth, release her.
- 50:07Speaker 5: To the earth.
- 50:08Speaker 16: Just kind of like an honoring because when a soul passes,
- 50:11Speaker 16: they go through a lot of distress. There's four different
- 50:14Speaker 16: phases of the passing of a soul. So she may
- 50:18Speaker 16: still be on a space where she's still recapitulating the
- 50:21Speaker 16: human experience, which is when we are trying to figure
- 50:24Speaker 16: out if our actions, we are good or bad for
- 50:28Speaker 16: the collective, for our family, and for ourselves. So lighting
- 50:31Speaker 16: a candle to her, just kind of guiding her, hey,
- 50:34Speaker 16: here's some light so that it helps you with your process,
- 50:37Speaker 16: that itself is going to be bringing a lot of balance.
- 50:41Speaker 4: Okay. Hey, Wendy.
- 50:41Speaker 20: Does that make sense?
- 50:42Speaker 4: It makes perfect sense to me. And I think, Sarah,
- 50:45Speaker 4: that's great advice. Wendy, does that work for everybody? Can
- 50:47Speaker 4: everybody do that?
- 50:48Speaker 16: Anybody can do that. So this kind of cleansing works
- 50:51Speaker 16: for pretty much anything. We don't want to use the element.
- 50:56Speaker 16: We want to collaborate with them. So we want to
- 50:58Speaker 16: ask for permission. And honoring our ancestors is always a
- 51:02Speaker 16: wonderful practice to reconnect to our own essence and the
- 51:06Speaker 16: family line.
- 51:12Speaker 4: If there's a curse on our show, can you get
- 51:13Speaker 4: rid of it?
- 51:14Speaker 3: I think there is. How can you not be sure?
- 51:17Speaker 3: How are you not sure that there's a curse on
- 51:19Speaker 3: our show? I just didn't want to say that.
- 51:20Speaker 4: I just thought maybe you should kind of throw a little.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Do I need to go over a list of our curses?
- 51:24Speaker 4: Light a candle, stand up, stomp your feet, light a match.
- 51:27Speaker 4: Can you put a positive curse on us?
- 51:28Speaker 3: A blessing?
- 51:30Speaker 6: A blessing.
- 51:31Speaker 16: Why do you think you have a curse in your show?
- 51:34Speaker 4: Listen to us. You listened to the last hour? You know,
- 51:39Speaker 4: I don't know. I just kind of sometimes feel that way.
- 51:42Speaker 3: There's somebody out to get us, I know that.
- 51:43Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody's got a John Jay and Rich voodoo doll
- 51:45Speaker 4: they're stabbing.
- 51:46Speaker 3: We have them in the other room.
- 51:49Speaker 10: Nick's like, oh, sorry about that.
- 51:51Speaker 4: Come on, Wendy.
- 51:55Speaker 16: Well, as you guys are in the public, and that
- 51:58Speaker 16: means that not 100% of the people wishes the right vibes.
- 52:02Speaker 13: So there is always a possibility.
- 52:04Speaker 16: But one of the things that I actually like to
- 52:05Speaker 16: do for myself, it's transmutation. So if somebody is sending
- 52:09Speaker 16: something negative, whether it's on purpose or by accident, I
- 52:14Speaker 16: like to work a lot with fire. So I do
- 52:17Speaker 16: a transmutation spell. So that whatever it is that is
- 52:21Speaker 16: coming my way, it transmutes to specific energies. So you
- 52:24Speaker 16: guys that have access to so many energies because you
- 52:27Speaker 16: work with so much people, you could do something like that.
- 52:30Speaker 16: You could bring whatever energy is and you can decide
- 52:33Speaker 16: what you want it to. If you want a bigger,
- 52:36Speaker 16: broader audience, you can transmute it into that. If you
- 52:39Speaker 16: want joy, you can transmute it into that. If you
- 52:42Speaker 16: want whatever it is that you want to create, love
- 52:44Speaker 16: or serving the world.
- 52:45Speaker 15: In a different way, that energy that.
- 52:48Speaker 16: Is being sent your way can always be used for
- 52:50Speaker 16: something else.
- 52:51Speaker 3: So you can take the curse and change it and
- 52:52Speaker 3: make it positive.
- 52:53Speaker 4: Do you ever make it to Phoenix? I think it'd
- 52:55Speaker 4: be great to have you in our studio sometime.
- 52:58Speaker 13: I would love that.
- 52:58Speaker 16: I have actually been in Phoenix a couple of times.
- 53:00Speaker 16: One of the companies that I used to work for
- 53:02Speaker 16: had a supplier in Phoenix, and I used to go
- 53:04Speaker 16: to Phoenix for that.
- 53:06Speaker 4: Do you have another job besides being a witch?
- 53:08Speaker 16: No, but I was in cybersecurity and digital forensics for
- 53:10Speaker 16: 20 years.
- 53:11Speaker 4: Wow.
- 53:12Speaker 5: And a witch?
- 53:14Speaker 4: Holy.
- 53:15Speaker 3: That's too much power. That's too much power for one person.
- 53:20Speaker 16: That means that you can use your magic to get
- 53:21Speaker 16: a really good job.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Well, anyway, Wendy, we're really grateful you jumped on there
- 53:26Speaker 4: with us. You know, you are a happy good witch.
- 53:28Speaker 4: I can tell you're a good witch. You're good people.
- 53:31Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 53:31Speaker 4: You're my favorite brouhaha.
- 53:34Speaker 25: How many do you know?
- 53:36Speaker 4: Well, just you.
- 53:37Speaker 25: Oh, you're my best friend.
- 53:39Speaker 3: How many friends do you have?
- 53:43Speaker 4: My tia Malou, she used to, I remember I'd go
- 53:45Speaker 4: knock on the bathroom door, and she'd be in the bathroom.
- 53:47Speaker 4: We only had one bathroom when I was a kid,
- 53:48Speaker 4: and she'd stay over, and I'd knock on the door,
- 53:49Speaker 4: and she would do a witch's cackle and scare the
- 53:51Speaker 4: hell out of me. Do you do a witch's cackle, Wendy?
- 53:56Speaker 5: Of course.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Oh, well, we got to hear that.
- 54:00Speaker 25: Well, I think my laughter is a cackle. I think
- 54:03Speaker 25: a lot of witches that are living a really good life,
- 54:05Speaker 25: they have the cackle because we are very free people.
- 54:08Speaker 25: We live life in our terms as much as we can.
- 54:12Speaker 25: And that itself brings us a lot of joy and
- 54:15Speaker 25: a lot of freedom.
- 54:15Speaker 20: So I think every.
- 54:16Speaker 16: Witch that is laughing that has a good life has
- 54:19Speaker 16: a cackle.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Good. Well, thank you, Wendy. We hope to have you
- 54:22Speaker 4: back on our show sometime. Thank you so much for
- 54:23Speaker 4: taking the time out.
- 54:25Speaker 16: Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
- 54:26Speaker 13: You too.
- 54:27Speaker 4: See, that's all. I'll get you, my pretty, and your little.
- 54:31Speaker 19: Dog, too.
- 54:32Speaker 4: That's not a good witch. That's a scary witch.
- 54:34Speaker 3: It's a great laugh, though.
- 54:35Speaker 4: Justice for Elphaba. Wendy's a great witch. A happy witch.
- 54:38Speaker 4: I feel good talking to Wendy.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Yeah, man. She lifted the curse. Watch good things happen now.
- 54:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:44Speaker 3: John Jay and Rich.
- 54:45Speaker 4: It would have been nice to know.
- 54:47Speaker 3: It would have been nice to know.
- 54:48Speaker 4: Before you got in this relationship, like a bomb was
- 54:51Speaker 4: dropped on you. Sarah.
- 54:54Speaker 20: Good morning.
- 54:55Speaker 4: Good morning. We got some Kanye tickets for this, Sarah.
- 54:57Speaker 4: What's your story?
- 54:58Speaker 20: So it would have been nice to know that my
- 55:01Speaker 20: ex had spent time in prison for illegitimate enterprises and
- 55:05Speaker 20: conspiracies before he manipulated me into his schemes.
- 55:09Speaker 13: That would have been nice to know.
- 55:11Speaker 10: That would have been nice.
- 55:12Speaker 6: Come on.
- 55:13Speaker 26: Hold on.
- 55:13Speaker 10: My microphone's not working. That would have been nice to know.
- 55:16Speaker 4: That would have been nice. He manipulated you. So he
- 55:19Speaker 4: got you in the stuff that got him in trouble?
- 55:23Speaker 3: He did.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Like what'd you do?
- 55:25Speaker 25: He had all kinds of fake businesses.
- 55:27Speaker 20: So he presented himself as like this legitimate businessman and
- 55:30Speaker 20: he had all of these businesses and he sold cars
- 55:34Speaker 20: and he did all this stuff. So I was helping
- 55:35Speaker 20: him do all of his books, do all of this stuff.
- 55:38Speaker 20: Come to find out he's just taking all this money
- 55:40Speaker 20: from people and flipping it into other things and never
- 55:43Speaker 20: fulfilling his responsibilities with everybody else. So they would call
- 55:46Speaker 20: me and be like, Hey, I bought this from him.
- 55:48Speaker 20: And I'm like, I have no idea what is going on.
- 55:51Speaker 4: Okay. So you were working for him legitimately, but he
- 55:54Speaker 4: was doing bad things.
- 55:55Speaker 8: Right.
- 55:55Speaker 20: I don't know if working is the right word because
- 55:57Speaker 20: I never got anything out of it.
- 55:59Speaker 3: I guess neither did the customers. But I mean, if
- 56:02Speaker 3: he'd worked that hard on that, he could have just
- 56:03Speaker 3: been a legit businessman and done fine. Sounds like he
- 56:06Speaker 3: was hustling.
- 56:07Speaker 23: Right.
- 56:07Speaker 20: But then he gave me a fake name. Everything was fake.
- 56:10Speaker 20: So I didn't know this until like 10 months later
- 56:13Speaker 20: when I started snooping around and I was like, wait
- 56:15Speaker 20: a minute.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Okay, wait a second.
- 56:17Speaker 20: You're not who you say you are.
- 56:18Speaker 4: For 10 minutes, for 10 months, you called him a
- 56:21Speaker 4: different name than his real name he gave you?
- 56:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 4: So what was the name you were calling him?
- 56:25Speaker 5: Michael.
- 56:26Speaker 4: And what's his real name?
- 56:27Speaker 15: Charles.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Wow.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Did he say, you said he gave you a fake name?
- 56:34Speaker 3: What was your fake name?
- 56:35Speaker 20: Well, when I would talk to the people, he would
- 56:36Speaker 20: always tell them, your name is Megan.
- 56:39Speaker 24: And I was like, well, that's weird, but okay.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Okay, Sarah, hold on a line. That's a good one.
- 56:44Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 56:44Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 56:45Speaker 4: Ariel, what's a relationship bomb, by the way? What's a
- 56:48Speaker 4: relationship bomb that happened to you? It would have been
- 56:51Speaker 4: nice to know.
- 56:51Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 56:53Speaker 23: It would have been nice to know. I was married
- 56:56Speaker 23: and it didn't work out. And I was separated. And
- 57:00Speaker 23: right at the beginning of our separation, so we share
- 57:02Speaker 23: a child together. And right at the beginning of our separation,
- 57:07Speaker 23: obviously he moved out. And I was trying to coordinate like, hey,
- 57:12Speaker 23: we need to coordinate picking up and dropping off of
- 57:16Speaker 23: like our son. And he's like, oh, by the way,
- 57:19Speaker 23: I moved to Hawaii.
- 57:21Speaker 13: I was like, that would be nice to know.
- 57:26Speaker 3: He just packed up and left. It's going to be
- 57:27Speaker 3: hard to pick up the kids on a Wednesday.
- 57:30Speaker 10: He's trying to co-parent. No, you moved to a whole
- 57:33Speaker 10: different state.
- 57:34Speaker 23: He wanted to do 50-50 custody from Hawaii and Arizona.
- 57:38Speaker 23: I'm like, that doesn't really work.
- 57:40Speaker 12: That's a banana.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Okay, that's a good one, Ariel. Brittany was like, whoa,
- 57:44Speaker 4: I got the best one ever. What do you got, Brittany?
- 57:48Speaker 11: Okay, so.
- 57:49Speaker 26: I fell in love with a guy, and we had
- 57:52Speaker 26: a great romance, and he had four kids from a
- 57:56Speaker 26: previous relationship, his ex-wife, and I was super involved in
- 58:00Speaker 26: their life.
- 58:00Speaker 18: And, I mean, we.
- 58:02Speaker 26: Had them four to five days a week in our home.
- 58:05Speaker 26: Everything was great. Me and the ex-wife got along great, everything.
- 58:09Speaker 26: Right before our wedding, I was looking at some paperwork
- 58:13Speaker 26: inside our house while he was at work, and I found...
- 58:17Speaker 26: Five Social Security numbers, not four. So it would have
- 58:22Speaker 26: been nice to know you had another child out there.
- 58:26Speaker 26: And it turns out that child lived right down the
- 58:29Speaker 26: street from where we were at.
- 58:30Speaker 4: What?
- 58:33Speaker 26: So, but then it gets worse. So we obviously in
- 58:37Speaker 26: our separate ways and, you know, we called the wedding
- 58:40Speaker 26: off and everything else. Well, I thought later on in life,
- 58:43Speaker 26: like 10 years now that maybe I missed out on
- 58:47Speaker 26: something that could have been great. And maybe that was
- 58:49Speaker 26: just this one thing that was bad. So I actually
- 58:52Speaker 26: looked him up and found them and we got like
- 58:56Speaker 26: talking and everything. And we went out to dinner and
- 58:59Speaker 26: started kind of dating again. So six months into us
- 59:03Speaker 26: dating again, he's like, by the way, I need to.
- 59:07Speaker 5: Tell you something.
- 59:08Speaker 14: And I'm like, oh.
- 59:10Speaker 26: Oh, it's not going to be as bad as me
- 59:11Speaker 26: finding the social security number, is it? And I was
- 59:15Speaker 26: kind of joking. And he was like, oh, yeah, about that.
- 59:19Speaker 26: And I was like, you've got to be kidding me.
- 59:21Speaker 26: He's like, so I didn't exactly have another kid. I
- 59:26Speaker 26: actually had two other kids. So at the same time
- 59:31Speaker 26: that his ex-wife was pregnant with their first child, he
- 59:34Speaker 26: had two other women pregnant, too. So his first child,
- 59:38Speaker 26: he had three women pregnant at the same time. So
- 59:41Speaker 26: he actually not only had another daughter that I didn't know,
- 59:44Speaker 26: he had a son that I didn't know either.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Was that a deal breaker? Did you stay with him?
- 59:50Speaker 26: Oh, my gosh. He lied to me the first time.
- 59:52Speaker 26: And you think we're getting back together? This would be
- 59:55Speaker 26: something you tell me right at the beginning. But he
- 59:58Speaker 26: waited another six months to tell me there's another.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: Kid out there.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: I think he was probably trying to get you pregnant too.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Did it not work? Did you have a kid with him?
- 1:00:06Speaker 26: No, I don't have any kids with them.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Touched a bullet.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Sounds like that's what he's trying to do.
- 1:00:11Speaker 26: No, it's, I actually, he went with me. I had
- 1:00:14Speaker 26: cancer at the time when we got together. And I
- 1:00:17Speaker 26: thought when I had it, cause I couldn't have any
- 1:00:19Speaker 26: kids that what a great daddy was.
- 1:00:22Speaker 16: He was so.
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: Good with his kids.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: I mean, got a lot of experience.
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: Top notch.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:00:28Speaker 26: Top notch father. And that's what me one of the
- 1:00:30Speaker 26: things that made me fall in love with him. And
- 1:00:32Speaker 26: then not only that, but I was just these kids
- 1:00:35Speaker 26: are just amazing. You know, they just love their dad
- 1:00:38Speaker 26: and everything. But to find out that he got to play,
- 1:00:41Speaker 26: he paid, he like played like, oh, I'll deal with
- 1:00:43Speaker 26: these kids, but I won't deal with these kids. You
- 1:00:46Speaker 26: know what I'm saying?
- 1:00:46Speaker 15: That's not right.
- 1:00:47Speaker 26: You don't get to pick and choose.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: Yeah, sometimes the kids get annoyed. Yeah, we all have
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: our favorites.
- 1:00:52Speaker 13: They're terrible. That's true.
- 1:00:54Speaker 14: Some of the kids are just nicer to you.
- 1:00:56Speaker 26: And we never saw her.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: That's what's bad about it.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Okay, Brittany, that's a good one. Hold on. Hold on
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: a second. Okay, we got to give some Kanye tickets away.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: Who would you give them to? Well, you got Sarah there.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: What was Sarah's story?
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: That was good.
- 1:01:09Speaker 10: The prison scammer.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Oh, come on. That's so good. Sarah, I forgot. Are
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: you the prison scammer?
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: Yes, sir.
- 1:01:16Speaker 12: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Or Megan. You can call her whatever you want.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: So you want to go see Kanye West?
- 1:01:24Speaker 20: I sure do.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: You got him. Congratulations.
- 1:01:27Speaker 25: Enjoy.
- 1:01:28Speaker 22: Thank you.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: So being scammed and manipulated by a guy ended up
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: turning out okay. Just don't take him to Kanye with you.
- 1:01:35Speaker 20: Oh, no, he's gone.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: We never asked her if she was still with him. Remember?
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: So at least he's gone.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: That's good.
- 1:01:42Speaker 15: He's gone.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: All right. Thank you, Sarah. Hold on the line.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I don't know how you found us.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: But I'm so thankful that you did.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Hi, Vicki. Good morning. You're on the air. How are you?
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Thanks for holding.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Hi.
- 1:01:56Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: I'm good. How are you?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Good.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 1:01:59Speaker 15: Well, so I've been dating this guy about eight months now.
- 1:02:05Speaker 15: And I am at his apartment constantly, but he has
- 1:02:07Speaker 15: this roommate named Sam who I've literally never met because
- 1:02:11Speaker 15: apparently he works nights or fine, whatever, something. But then
- 1:02:15Speaker 15: last week, I'm over there alone, and this, like, drop-dead
- 1:02:19Speaker 15: gorgeous woman walks in, looks at me sitting on the
- 1:02:22Speaker 15: couch and goes, oh, you must be the girlfriend. Guys,
- 1:02:26Speaker 15: Sam is Samantha. I did not know that. And Samantha
- 1:02:32Speaker 15: is not just his roommate. Samantha is his ex-wife.
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:38Speaker 10: Absolutely not.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: There's a couple levels of layers.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Uh-huh.
- 1:02:44Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:02:44Speaker 15: So they got divorced three years ago, but I guess
- 1:02:47Speaker 15: they couldn't, like, afford to get, like, a place on
- 1:02:49Speaker 15: their own, so they decided to just, like, I guess, like,
- 1:02:52Speaker 15: stay roommates. I don't know. They have, like, separate bedrooms,
- 1:02:55Speaker 15: allegedly separate lives, and no hooking up or whatever. He says, like,
- 1:02:59Speaker 15: they're basically brother and sister now, which, to me, makes
- 1:03:03Speaker 15: me feel, like, worse.
- 1:03:04Speaker 19: Actually, somehow.
- 1:03:04Speaker 15: I don't know.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: It's weird.
- 1:03:06Speaker 15: Um, but here's the crazy part. She was actually like
- 1:03:09Speaker 15: so nice to me. And I don't know. He said
- 1:03:12Speaker 15: he didn't tell me cause he said it would make
- 1:03:14Speaker 15: it worse. But like, baby, listen, like you can't, you
- 1:03:17Speaker 15: live with your former wife.
- 1:03:18Speaker 26: Like it came weird.
- 1:03:19Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:03:19Speaker 20: Like, hello.
- 1:03:21Speaker 11: Like I'm going to make it weird.
- 1:03:22Speaker 15: I'm, I don't think I can make it weirder than this.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: Um, that's right. She said it right. It came weird.
- 1:03:29Speaker 13: Yeah, it did.
- 1:03:30Speaker 11: It did.
- 1:03:31Speaker 15: And, I really do love him, but I don't know, like,
- 1:03:36Speaker 15: how am I supposed to just, like, trust that this is, like,
- 1:03:39Speaker 15: genuinely platonic?
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: Like, for real?
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: I mean, they just introduced a whole lot of baggage
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: into your world.
- 1:03:45Speaker 10: I would feel like Sam, a.k.a.
- 1:03:47Speaker 17: Samantha's reaction when I walk in, like, oh, you're the girlfriend, like,
- 1:03:50Speaker 17: to me would be, like, give me a little bit
- 1:03:52Speaker 17: more peace of mind because if she came in and
- 1:03:54Speaker 17: was like, who are you?
- 1:03:56Speaker 23: You know, then I would probably be like, okay, maybe.
- 1:03:59Speaker 24: But like.
- 1:03:59Speaker 15: That's a good point.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Yes. Yes, totally.
- 1:04:02Speaker 10: But it's kind of like, is it a little condescending? Oh,
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: you're the girlfriend.
- 1:04:06Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:04:06Speaker 10: I guess it depends how she said it. It depends
- 1:04:09Speaker 10: how she said it.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: How did she say it? Well, you said something that
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: I have to follow up on. So you said, I
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: love him. Like, do you really love him?
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: I do.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:04:17Speaker 15: I really do. Like, he's pretty special, but I mean,
- 1:04:20Speaker 15: this is a lot to take in that I was
- 1:04:24Speaker 15: not expecting.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: Okay. So you love him. But now you find out
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: that his roommate is his beautiful ex-wife. Is that a
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: deal breaker or can you live with it?
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: I mean, it would have been nice to know that
- 1:04:38Speaker 11: Sam was Samantha and his ex-wife. And, you know, that's
- 1:04:43Speaker 11: eight months, long time to not know that stuff.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:04:47Speaker 15: I don't think it's a deal breaker, but I don't
- 1:04:50Speaker 15: think I feel very comfortable with it.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: You know what you just remind me of? You just
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: gave me an idea of, like, if we were to
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: make this a segment and we've got, like, Kanye tickets online.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: Like, the way she just said, it would have been
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: nice to know.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: There you go. That's what we call it. It would
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: have been nice to know.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: It would have been.
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: Nice to know.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Before I got too involved with this person.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: It would have been nice to know.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Yeah, here's what I think is the win, that you
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: said she was beautiful, too. That means that.
- 1:05:13Speaker 15: Oh, my God. Like, I'm talking, like, she could be
- 1:05:15Speaker 15: on the cover of a magazine.
- 1:05:16Speaker 21: Like, my.
- 1:05:17Speaker 15: She has good taste.
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: I mean.
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: He chose you.
- 1:05:21Speaker 15: Okay, I'll take that.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Because he chose you.
- 1:05:23Speaker 15: That's nice.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: It's the new version. I think that's great, too. All
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: these are okay.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: Would have been nice to know.
- 1:05:28Speaker 15: That definitely makes me feel a lot better. Thank you
- 1:05:31Speaker 15: for that. I didn't think of that. I was like, oh,
- 1:05:32Speaker 15: my God, she's so pretty. Why is he with me?
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: I see you sitting on the edge of the bed
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: talking to him, and there's this beautiful woman out in
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: the living room, and you're like, you know... Yeah, no,
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: she's great. Would have been nice to know that you are,
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: that's your ex-wife. I'm fine.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: I'm fine.
- 1:05:45Speaker 21: I'm fine.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: When you call into our show, make sure you use
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: that phrase just like this. Would have been nice to know.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: When you describe it.
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: Vicki, thanks for calling in.
- 1:05:54Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 1:05:55Speaker 15: Thanks so much. I feel a lot better now. Thanks guys.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: We got Kanye tickets on the line. Tell us that
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: like what you're in a relationship and a bomb is dropped.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: Would have been nice to know. Would have been nice
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: to know. Jessica, we want to hear from you. We
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: got Kanye West tickets on the line. What's your story?
- 1:06:10Speaker 15: So I found out that my boyfriend's mom is in
- 1:06:15Speaker 15: a group chat with all of her sisters. So like
- 1:06:18Speaker 15: his aunts and like all the girls in the family
- 1:06:22Speaker 15: where they rate all my outfits and discuss like whether
- 1:06:26Speaker 15: I'm wife material. Like it's real weird, but I'll tell
- 1:06:31Speaker 15: you the way I found out is my boyfriend is
- 1:06:35Speaker 15: also in the group chat. Isn't that fun?
- 1:06:38Speaker 10: Is he participating? He's also rating your outfits to see
- 1:06:41Speaker 10: if you're marriage material?
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: No.
- 1:06:44Speaker 13: Okay, good.
- 1:06:45Speaker 10: He's just like a fly on the wall. He's like
- 1:06:47Speaker 10: harding the ants that he agrees with. They're like, we
- 1:06:49Speaker 10: just put you on here so you know.
- 1:06:52Speaker 20: But still.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: How are you doing so far in the ratings? Do
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: they like your outfits?
- 1:06:57Speaker 15: I mean, I'm just like averaging a three out of five,
- 1:07:00Speaker 15: I think.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: It's not bad.
- 1:07:01Speaker 10: Oh, that's not great.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: It's average. So what would have been nice to know
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: doesn't fit here, does it? Would have been nice to know?
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: Like he's not going to go like, hey, I'm going
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: to take out the dinner. By the way, from now on,
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: my whole family is going to rate your outfits. They're
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: not going.
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: To say that to me.
- 1:07:13Speaker 10: They're not going to say, but that is, yeah, one
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: that is dropped.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: But I mean, they are rating her to see if
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: she's wifey material.
- 1:07:20Speaker 10: This one's kind of like not nice to know.
