- 2:53Speaker 3: at your leg. Year came in with his pants down,
- 2:57Speaker 3: And that's not a lie.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I love how you just tell a messive lie and
- 3:02Speaker 5: then you say it's not a lie, it's a lie.
- 3:06Speaker 5: I hid something pricking me in the side of my pants.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Once I got into the office. I underd my pants
- 3:11Speaker 5: and reached down there. There's nothing there.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you're a shock.
- 3:19Speaker 7: And then I tried to find the thing that was

- 3:45Speaker 3: In the meantime, let's kick off with an old favorite,
- 3:49Speaker 3: but the old red Hot Chili Peppers the Whole.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Archy Big Show week days from four on radio.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Indeed, the red Chili Peppers. There on the Big Show.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Breakfast this Wednesday morning, the time twelve minutes past six o'clock.
- 4:05Speaker 3: And we love to know what people are reading on
- 4:07Speaker 3: this show, don't we, fellas certainly do. For example, Keysy
- 4:11Speaker 3: walked in today with a lovely tapa wee container of
- 4:13Speaker 3: chia and stewed strawberry for his bricky, and we thought,
- 4:19Speaker 3: how about we open a cafe here in the Big Show.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Do you think that when I walked in with that pudding?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Well no, I thought that yesterday. But then you reminded
- 4:27Speaker 3: me when you came in today with your lovely pudding
- 4:30Speaker 3: that or not putting your breakfast at your wife prepared for.
- 4:34Speaker 3: So we thought we'd open our home cafe Fells one hundred.
- 4:38Speaker 5: So you call us on eight hundred. Holdarky, you tell
- 4:40Speaker 5: us what you are having for breakfast. Years but in
- 4:42Speaker 5: the form of taking an order.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Pugs will explain it. Yeah, you'll get it. We did
- 4:47Speaker 4: it yesterday. It was highly successful. I've now got a bell. Guys,
- 4:49Speaker 4: listen to this. Oh all right, you're nice, you get
- 4:54Speaker 4: in touch.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Yesterday people were giving prizes. I believe Puggs dished out
- 4:57Speaker 5: the Reburger acts.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I tell you promises. One of the joys I have
- 5:02Speaker 3: because I live in the CBD. Now. I don't know
- 5:03Speaker 3: if you guys know that. And as I'm walking through
- 5:07Speaker 3: the CBD this time of day, you would think that
- 5:10Speaker 3: the world is asleep. But there's lots of little cafes etcetera, etcetera,
- 5:15Speaker 3: preparing themselves for the morning rush. And there's smells of
- 5:19Speaker 3: sort of baking in the air. You can smell coffee.
- 5:22Speaker 3: It's just a wonderful thing.
- 5:24Speaker 5: The sushi shop next door here, yes, because people don't
- 5:27Speaker 5: eat sushi till lunchtime.
- 5:28Speaker 6: MOOI yeah, but it takes a while to make it.
- 5:30Speaker 6: It takes away while to make itself. It's not going
- 5:32Speaker 6: to make itself, although I think that guy gets as
- 5:34Speaker 6: dead to make it.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Well, that is his dad. He's there five am, yes,
- 5:37Speaker 4: making all the rice and stuff.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Yeah, and then the sun comes on and with a
- 5:41Speaker 6: miserable look on his face, and then he's sort of
- 5:43Speaker 6: standsy for the rest of.
- 5:43Speaker 4: The day on his phone. Yeah, yeah, but.
- 5:48Speaker 5: It's amazing, like you have to get him bloody early
- 5:50Speaker 5: to make sushi. Jas Yes, and you wouldn't know that
- 5:52Speaker 5: if you didn't live in the CBD. I used to
- 5:54Speaker 5: make sushi.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Have a bit of a fantasy about being a baker,
- 5:58Speaker 3: you know, because there's something very appealing to me about
- 6:01Speaker 3: getting up at the cracker dawn and rolling out some
- 6:04Speaker 3: dough and the smell of fresh bread, you know, cooking
- 6:08Speaker 3: How good? Phillos? How good?
- 6:10Speaker 4: Not that good? I don't know.
- 6:12Speaker 6: I actually brought some a couple of pieces of toasting
- 6:15Speaker 6: with me this morning, Jase. So I'm going to hear
- 6:17Speaker 6: them later on and find myself get a little bit hungry.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Around about eight point fifteen, eight twenty the akizi, So
- 6:21Speaker 6: you brought in toast, I've brought it, well, not to
- 6:23Speaker 6: some bread to be toasted, A little bit about a
- 6:26Speaker 6: little bit of peanut butter of the ere, a little
- 6:28Speaker 6: bit of cheer pudding.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Maybe I on the bread.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Oh eight hundred hodaki? What are you having for breakfast?
- 6:35Speaker 4: What's that? Jase?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Or maybe I need to bring in bricky then not
- 6:38Speaker 3: that you know have bricky generally spring.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Well, you've been sucking on your vapor.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I suck on my vapor must be full of coffees
- 6:46Speaker 3: and stuff like that.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Why don't you just get like an eggspitted a flavored vape.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Nice, I'm liking it isn't cubos.
- 6:56Speaker 2: The whole Actually Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Cancubus.
- 7:02Speaker 3: There on the Big Show Breakfast this Wednesday morning. The
- 7:07Speaker 3: time is eighteen minutes past six o'clock.
- 7:11Speaker 4: The Big Show Cafe is open.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Fellas, whew, jeez, plod plot quiet.
- 7:21Speaker 6: People there, But there's nobody here at all. Yeah, so
- 7:24Speaker 6: it sounds like there's a lot of people.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Yeah, we share a we share a dining area with
- 7:28Speaker 4: another cafe. That place is going off.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's sorry. I'm back at the house.
- 7:32Speaker 4: I forgot I'm back at house. Yeah, you're out of
- 7:34Speaker 4: the back cooking nothing. I'm in the kitchen. Have you
- 7:38Speaker 4: got the orders come through?
- 7:39Speaker 3: No? No orders at this point? Are kesy? You just relax? Mate?
- 7:43Speaker 3: No one's called holdarchy and can you take your hand
- 7:45Speaker 3: into your pants please? It's pretty gross given that you
- 7:48Speaker 3: make the food pretty pretty sure.
- 7:50Speaker 4: That's well, we haven't got a hygiene rating eight hundred.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Holdarchy, if you want to come to the Big Show cafe.
- 7:57Speaker 6: There's literally nobody interested in our cafe. And I think
- 7:59Speaker 6: there's is why businesses go under. Well that it's a
- 8:02Speaker 6: bloody tough time for hospitality at the moment.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Totally it is, mate and Kezy. Well, they do say
- 8:10Speaker 3: that most businesses fall apart in their first year. And
- 8:13Speaker 3: now I can see why. I tell you what bloody
- 8:15Speaker 3: trap roadworks out the front aren't helping, are they? Bludy?
- 8:19Speaker 3: I mean you need, you know, people on foot to
- 8:22Speaker 3: be walking past.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Surely sure not when you're We're not when you're phoning in,
- 8:27Speaker 6: because that's where we get our businesses the phone and
- 8:29Speaker 6: oh yeah yeah, a.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Lot of traffic hundred HODARKI surely someone wants to cut
- 8:33Speaker 5: to the beach cafe and get a prize.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Let's not get desperate about it. I mean, I know that, Keezy,
- 8:42Speaker 3: I know that. All right, I'm going to have to
- 8:43Speaker 3: start laying off staff.
- 8:46Speaker 4: And you get it. What do you get? What do
- 8:47Speaker 4: you want? A fifty dollars rebig avout you? Maybe we
- 8:50Speaker 4: don't know.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Well, I mean we can't be in a scenario where
- 8:53Speaker 3: we open up a cafe and the people that come
- 8:55Speaker 3: in we give them free vouchers.
- 8:57Speaker 6: It's almost like people think that this segment is Is
- 9:01Speaker 6: that what I meant to think.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I'm getting the fie, I'm getting the vibe that people
- 9:07Speaker 3: don't like our cafe. You know what I'm saying.
- 9:09Speaker 4: That's not it, Jory, Can I take your orders on?
- 9:14Speaker 4: Get in the kitchen? Can I just get a coffee?
- 9:17Speaker 8: Mate?
- 9:18Speaker 6: What?
- 9:18Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 9:19Speaker 4: And coffee please? No? Sorry, we don't coffee.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Thanks Jory. You had a good day, buddy.

- 9:31Speaker 4: he's a barista. Yeah I know, but I didn't order
- 9:33Speaker 4: any coffee.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't. We couldn't afford it because no one
- 9:36Speaker 3: was tuning up. Uh good, I can't read the name
- 9:40Speaker 3: good a. How are you going? Mate? Yeah? Good?
- 9:43Speaker 8: Can I have a nineteen twenties coffee delight?
- 9:46Speaker 3: Please?
- 9:47Speaker 4: What's that one? Mate?
- 9:49Speaker 8: Well, after a long night, I've given her to the
- 9:53Speaker 8: old wife. You know, A nice play A coffee with
- 9:56Speaker 8: the dry on the side will be plenty, thank you.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah, man, you're a sick Get him out of the cafe.

- 10:20Speaker 3: Bagel comes out of the out of a freezer, out

- 13:24Speaker 3: Breakfast this Wednesday morning. The time is six ety seven. Now,
- 13:27Speaker 3: you know, it's fair to say that we've come in
- 13:29Speaker 3: doing the breakfast to fill in for the Breakfast Show,
- 13:31Speaker 3: and there's been a bit of whining feelings. There's been
- 13:34Speaker 3: a bit of moaning about the sort of hours that
- 13:36Speaker 3: we're having to keep now, what time we have to
- 13:38Speaker 3: get up, and it's made us realize and think about
- 13:41Speaker 3: all the backbones out there, all the trades that do
- 13:44Speaker 3: this every single bloody day without complaints, and we thought
- 13:49Speaker 3: we need to celebrate these people. So we've come up
- 13:53Speaker 3: with a new segment which is Trail of the Day.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Oh we didn't get a sting made or anything with it.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Well, you're listening to.
- 14:01Speaker 2: The right.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Patch is usually better than that, but.
- 14:06Speaker 4: I'm so sad again.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Trade of the Day with the Big Show feels that's good.
- 14:15Speaker 3: And every day what we're going to do is get
- 14:17Speaker 3: you to text in on three four eight three and
- 14:19Speaker 3: tell us what trade you want us to focus on today.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Overwhelmingly it's Sparky's filing.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Sparky's electricians. Electricians. Then so the other ones that come
- 14:30Speaker 4: around and sort of why they joined up.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Well, funnily enough, I've got a Sparky coming around to
- 14:34Speaker 3: my joint today to replace the light bulbs. Really seriously,
- 14:40Speaker 3: you can't do it, and that sounds ridiculous, but my
- 14:43Speaker 3: ceiling is so high we can't actually reach it. So
- 14:47Speaker 3: we need, you know, the special skills of a Sparky
- 14:51Speaker 3: to come and replace the light bulb.
- 14:53Speaker 4: It's a dangerous job, is it very dangerous?
- 14:55Speaker 6: Not just dealing with height, so I get your joint, Jase,
- 14:59Speaker 6: but also just dealing with electricity. I don't know if
- 15:01Speaker 6: you know this because he but just reading here. Electricity
- 15:03Speaker 6: can be fatal. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, So you've got
- 15:07Speaker 6: to get yourself a shock doctor.
- 15:08Speaker 4: And don't they call Sparky. They call themselves shop doctor.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Oh wow, yeah, yeah, yeah, a shock doctor. I've never
- 15:15Speaker 4: heard that.
- 15:15Speaker 7: A wire monkey, definitely never heard that master, a zip master.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I've I we had electrician growing up. I'm static Steve.
- 15:26Speaker 6: He was a wire bender.
- 15:28Speaker 11: A wire bender. A wire bender, I've never heard that nickname. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 11: he was a conduit commander, was he? I remember it
- 15:49Speaker 11: was actually a cable ship.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I remember static Steve actually remember that Mogi because he
- 15:56Speaker 3: always had that shock of hair that went straight up
- 15:58Speaker 3: in the air.
- 15:59Speaker 6: Yeah, he was always sticking his finger in the old
- 16:02Speaker 6: plug socker there. Actually, looking back on it, I don't
- 16:06Speaker 6: think he was a I don't think it was a
- 16:08Speaker 6: wire monkey.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Was it just a dude? They got leeducated? YEA, Who's
- 16:11Speaker 4: a shocking burst?
- 16:14Speaker 2: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Tune in week days A four on Radio hold.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Ichies indeed queens of the Stone Age on the Big
- 16:22Speaker 3: Show Breakfast this Wednesday morning. The time is six forty seven,
- 16:26Speaker 3: which means it's time for.
- 16:30Speaker 5: What's on the news with me Jeuzy. Interesting stuff fellas.
- 16:40Speaker 5: This comes from New York and auction happened overnight. Southerby's
- 16:44Speaker 5: sold a dinosaur, an original dinosaur fossil which was dug
- 16:48Speaker 5: up in twenty twenty one, over two years and it's
- 16:53Speaker 5: the most expensive complete dinosaur ever sold ever.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Wow.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Do you want to guess how much it sold for?
- 16:58Speaker 4: It was a t rex billion dollars.
- 17:00Speaker 3: No, No, eighteen pence?
- 17:05Speaker 6: What the hell's a pence? No pences? Are it's lots
- 17:11Speaker 6: of pennies pence? Eighteen pennies? Yeah, for a t rex
- 17:16Speaker 6: for a tea? Well, I don't know, but I would
- 17:19Speaker 6: say in this same age, I mean, how many t
- 17:20Speaker 6: rexes do you see walking around? So if you get
- 17:22Speaker 6: yourself a real life t rex, so i'd say that'd
- 17:24Speaker 6: be worth a billion.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Not real, it's a fossil, it's just the bone.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And sorry, where was it dug up?
- 17:29Speaker 5: It was dug up in South Dakota, a remote ranch
- 17:33Speaker 5: where the ground thaws and then gets frozen again in.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Thaws, and so they had to dig it up at
- 17:38Speaker 4: the exact right time.
- 17:40Speaker 3: It's kind of weird to think that there were t
- 17:41Speaker 3: rexes in Dakota. Yes, you know what I mean. Yes,
- 17:44Speaker 3: I didn't ever think America would have had dinosaurs.
- 17:46Speaker 4: There's so many. Yeah, because America has only been around
- 17:49Speaker 4: since seventeen or something that.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Yeah, that the land mass itself has been around for
- 17:54Speaker 5: billions of years.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Come on, I think billions, millions. I don't know, I'm
- 17:59Speaker 4: not aologists. How much.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Fifty point one million US dollars for a complete t
- 18:08Speaker 5: rex fossil that is eight I did the bloody.
- 18:11Speaker 3: What's it called calculations?
- 18:13Speaker 5: The currency eighty six million New Zealand dollars it's sold for,
- 18:18Speaker 5: and apparently collecting giant fossils like this is a new
- 18:21Speaker 5: hobby for the ultra wealthy.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:25Speaker 5: And the previous sale, which surprisingly I thought that t
- 18:28Speaker 5: rexes would be like the most expensive, but the record
- 18:31Speaker 5: was set by a stigersaurus.
- 18:33Speaker 4: A stigersaurus.
- 18:36Speaker 5: I know, who's bloody and the most expensive ever stigersaurus.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Do you know what they are? Jas?
- 18:41Speaker 5: No, So the other ones would like they've got big
- 18:44Speaker 5: plate sporing things and then they've got a spiky.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Tail flappers flappers, yeah, rappers, the gold flapper.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Well, it's it is a bizarre thing. I mean, you know,
- 18:53Speaker 3: spending fifty point one million dollars in just on a
- 18:56Speaker 3: on a sack of bones.
- 18:58Speaker 4: It's a giant skeleton. But if you've got billions, you know,
- 19:01Speaker 4: what are you here?
- 19:02Speaker 3: Yeah? Well exactly, I guess so.
- 19:03Speaker 5: But it's interesting because the previous that one that had
- 19:06Speaker 5: the previous record, literally a billionaire bought it and then
- 19:09Speaker 5: just lens it out to a museum anyway, and it's
- 19:13Speaker 5: like just sitting in a museum.
- 19:15Speaker 4: It's really weird.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I don't like the idea of billionaires buying
- 19:18Speaker 3: stuff like that up anyway. It should be just for
- 19:20Speaker 3: the public, you know what I mean.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Yeah, but someone's going to pay for the you know,
- 19:23Speaker 5: the actually extracting it, preserving it, putting it all together.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Just plus you know, are you worried about once you go, Jason,
- 19:30Speaker 5: someone will do the same with you.
- 19:31Speaker 3: How many how much you reckon my bones would sell
- 19:34Speaker 3: for fulles arect this?
- 19:39Speaker 4: Well, I suppose you are a bit of a dinosaur
- 19:41Speaker 4: as well.
- 19:42Speaker 3: He is that why you did this particular article. You
- 19:46Speaker 3: just wanted to say, No, I didn't pre prey.
- 19:49Speaker 5: I thought of that when I looked at you and
- 19:52Speaker 5: the fact that you got those little short arms like
- 19:53Speaker 5: a t rix.
- 19:54Speaker 3: I was like, ah, hair's comes through Roses.
- 20:01Speaker 2: The whole Acting Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 20:04Speaker 2: tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Hold Ike here, welcome back your messive backbones. Maybe you're
- 20:09Speaker 3: surviving year Wednesday morning. This is the Big Show Breakfast
- 20:13Speaker 3: and has brought to you by Bunnings Trade.
- 20:16Speaker 5: Build Big Rewards with new power Pass Pro Rewards by Bunnings.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Good stuff. Now I see Fellers, the first semifinal and
- 20:24Speaker 3: the Football World Cup. It started France versus Spain. It's
- 20:28Speaker 3: going to be an absolute cracker. And it occurred to
- 20:30Speaker 3: me because we were saying we're going to keep people
- 20:32Speaker 3: up today on what's going on. But then another part
- 20:35Speaker 3: of my brain was going, well, hang on, do people
- 20:36Speaker 3: actually want that, because there may be some backbones out
- 20:40Speaker 3: there going I don't want to know what's going on.
- 20:42Speaker 6: Yeah, you know you're in the world of two bad
- 20:44Speaker 6: and tough titty. Yeah, it's a semi final of a
- 20:47Speaker 6: football World Cup. We're not going to not talk about it,
- 20:50Speaker 6: so you know, two or three people can watch it
- 20:53Speaker 6: later on today.
- 20:54Speaker 5: I also feel like in the modern age of you know,
- 20:56Speaker 5: you get pretty much alerted to everything constantly, Yes, on
- 20:59Speaker 5: your phone, listening to the radio.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Whatever it might be. I feel like the days of
- 21:03Speaker 4: waiting to watch it later what I.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Think you can, But I think the onus is on you. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 6: as the individual doing your phone off your sweet.
- 21:12Speaker 3: If I'm waiting for a replay or something like that,
- 21:15Speaker 3: I'll just go to bed, just turn off all my devices,
- 21:19Speaker 3: probably make love before that and then go to bed.
- 21:21Speaker 3: And just sleep until the replay comes.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Do you know, do you know how to turn off
- 21:25Speaker 4: your devices? No? How many devices? Have you got?
- 21:29Speaker 3: One?
- 21:31Speaker 4: Turn off your device?
- 21:32Speaker 3: My device?
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:33Speaker 6: The other thing that you can do, Joseph, you know
- 21:36Speaker 6: if you just get one of these sort of subscription things, is.
- 21:39Speaker 4: You can watch it on demand.
- 21:40Speaker 6: You don't have to wait for Sky Television or one
- 21:43Speaker 6: of these other places to put on a replay.
- 21:45Speaker 4: You can watch it whenever you want.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Are you serious? That's crazy?
- 21:49Speaker 4: So you could tape it.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Or like on a VHS or something like that. Yeah,
- 21:54Speaker 3: I could do that. Yeah, sounds good at the moment.
- 21:56Speaker 3: In case you're interested. Nil and spoil its.
- 22:02Speaker 2: People the whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 22:09Speaker 2: Kezy tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hold.
- 22:12Speaker 3: She had there on the Big Show Breakfast this Wednesday morning.
- 22:15Speaker 3: The time is nine minutes past seven o'clock. And fellas
- 22:18Speaker 3: are we've had some very heavy criticism already about our
- 22:21Speaker 3: updates for the Football World Cup. You do not say
- 22:25Speaker 3: apparently nil all you say nil nil. And this person
- 22:31Speaker 3: also added that it was an extremely what was it mode?
- 22:35Speaker 3: A dull update, a very dull update. So I'll do
- 22:38Speaker 3: my best to be technically correct and frothing about it.
- 22:43Speaker 6: And if you could just keep those those really cool
- 22:45Speaker 6: texts coming in there your backbone.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, man.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Hey, fellas, I went away for the weekend and stated
- 22:53Speaker 6: at a hotel and dope ball and as part of
- 22:56Speaker 6: that set up, they had the optional all inclusive breakfast. Yes,
- 23:01Speaker 6: a breakfast buffet. It was very good too. You had
- 23:04Speaker 6: your fresh fruits, keezy. You had a selection of pastries,
- 23:09Speaker 6: oh ye arm. You had your meats, your sausages, your bacons,
- 23:12Speaker 6: all those sorts of things. You could also order an
- 23:14Speaker 6: omelet or some eggs off the menu at no extra costs.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Yum. Did it have the convey about toast machine?
- 23:21Speaker 6: Interesting you asked me that, Keezy, because while I was
- 23:24Speaker 6: sitting there having a chitty chat, my eye went over
- 23:26Speaker 6: to the to the toast machine on the conveyor belt
- 23:30Speaker 6: and I said to my wife, there I see as
- 23:32Speaker 6: I see is is that meant to be on fire?
- 23:36Speaker 6: And I went running across the I went running across
- 23:39Speaker 6: the dining room there, and this little kid hadn't read
- 23:43Speaker 6: the sign that said no pastries, and he's rammed in a.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Couple of croissants. Oh.
- 23:48Speaker 6: The whole bastard was a blaze wow. But anyway, that
- 23:51Speaker 6: was all sort of out in the end. But I
- 23:53Speaker 6: did wonder just what the rules are because as we
- 23:56Speaker 6: were sort of leaving each day, my wife backbone she is,
- 24:01Speaker 6: was stuff in her massive handbag full of muffins, croissants, fruits,
- 24:09Speaker 6: even a little bit of cheare putting there. And I
- 24:12Speaker 6: think her attitude towards it as well, we've paid quite
- 24:15Speaker 6: a lot, quite a lot, yeah, and so you know
- 24:19Speaker 6: this is they expect that you can just take this here,
- 24:21Speaker 6: you're gonna have your morning tea. But I wondered what
- 24:24Speaker 6: your guy's opinion was on it, because I don't think
- 24:26Speaker 6: everybody feels the same way, certainly not my daughter, who
- 24:30Speaker 6: immediately was horrified. She's seven and told everybody with an
- 24:35Speaker 6: airshot that my wife was and I quote stealing.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Well, it is tricky for a little kid because you're
- 24:40Speaker 5: taught don't steal, don't steal, don't steal.
- 24:42Speaker 4: And then mum's loading your purse with free stuff.
- 24:44Speaker 6: And also as she's been asked about it, Mama's saying sh.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Which is weird because I was actually taught to steal
- 24:54Speaker 3: as a little kid. But anyway, getting back to the
- 24:56Speaker 3: issue at hand, obviously. I mean I've got an issue
- 25:02Speaker 3: with that. It's a breakfast, it's not afternoon morning and
- 25:06Speaker 3: lunch tea. I sort of you know, eating. Yeah, so
- 25:09Speaker 3: we're in a little snacks, Well you can, but you
- 25:12Speaker 3: buy your own snacks later on in the day. But
- 25:15Speaker 3: stuffing your bag full of pastries and muffins et cetera,
- 25:19Speaker 3: et cetera, to me is just taking the past.
- 25:22Speaker 5: I feel like you do pay a lot of money
- 25:24Speaker 5: for these breakfast there's also probably a lot of food
- 25:26Speaker 5: wastage as well. What were they going to eat that
- 25:28Speaker 5: apple you took and the supermarket muffin or whatever the hell?
- 25:31Speaker 3: That's the other thing, keisie. I mean, you've got a
- 25:33Speaker 3: couple of sort of steaming muffins in your handbag. You'll
- 25:36Speaker 3: probably get to the point mid afternoon and go, oh,
- 25:38Speaker 3: that's right, I put those in there. How foul, I'll
- 25:41Speaker 3: beff them.
- 25:41Speaker 4: No, you eat that? That's what you would do.
- 25:44Speaker 5: I mean because when my wife and I were on
- 25:45Speaker 5: holiday on our honeymoon, hey throwback, when we're in Spain,
- 25:51Speaker 5: she started because every breakfast buffet had like different hams
- 25:54Speaker 5: and stuff, like really nice meats and cheese and so
- 25:57Speaker 5: she got into the habit of eating some croissants or
- 26:01Speaker 5: some nice bread, cutting it in half and then making
- 26:03Speaker 5: like a ham and cheese sandwich and then wrapping them
- 26:05Speaker 5: up in a napkin for us eat later on.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Yeah, And I was like, baby, can't do that, But
- 26:09Speaker 4: then later on I was like, Bay, it's delicious. Good work.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:12Speaker 5: So yeah, three four eight three. We'd be interested to
- 26:15Speaker 5: know your opinion every text in the drawer for a prize.
- 26:18Speaker 5: You can also call us an eight hundred hoduky, the
- 26:20Speaker 5: question being is Murgy's wife a thief?
- 26:22Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 26:24Speaker 3: Yes, a shocker?
- 26:28Speaker 4: It's nil all in the football.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Yeah, here's Tenacious D for.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Tenacious D.
- 26:37Speaker 3: There on the Big Show Breakfast this Wednesday morning. The
- 26:40Speaker 3: time is seventeen minutes past seven o'clock Spain versus France.
- 26:44Speaker 3: The semifinal currently after seventeen minutes zero zero. Hey, but fellers,
- 26:49Speaker 3: let's get back to a bit of buff a cheat.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Yeah, mate. So I went away for the weekend Stadler Hotel.
- 26:55Speaker 6: There was an all inclusive buffett as part of that.
- 26:57Speaker 6: All your usual, your meat, your egg, your fruits, all
- 27:01Speaker 6: those sorts.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Of things.
- 27:01Speaker 6: Your breads delicious, it was, But I sort of had
- 27:06Speaker 6: a question come up around whether it's okay or not
- 27:10Speaker 6: for you to take things from the buffet secrete them
- 27:13Speaker 6: away in pockets or bags to be eaten later in
- 27:17Speaker 6: the day.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Is it okay?
- 27:18Speaker 6: Because that's what my wife may or may not have done.
- 27:21Speaker 6: She did, She's shocking like that. Three four eight three
- 27:24Speaker 6: is the text number.
- 27:25Speaker 5: You can also call O one hundred hodaki to be honest,
- 27:28Speaker 5: there's I'm going to go seventy thirty the text machine
- 27:30Speaker 5: in support of your wife.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:33Speaker 5: People saying that, you know, the hotel takes us into accounts,
- 27:37Speaker 5: for example, Leoni, it's been accommodated in the booking cost.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I would agree. When you do book a hotel buffet,
- 27:43Speaker 4: it's like forty bucks or something usually, isn't it.
- 27:45Speaker 6: That's a lot of I think they've got to assume
- 27:48Speaker 6: that an absolutely massive bass is going to be turning up, right,
- 27:51Speaker 6: They've got to make a profit off the worst case scenario.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Yeah, someone here say, I don't know someone that hasn't
- 27:57Speaker 5: done what your wife has done. Maybe you're true me, Jason,
- 28:01Speaker 5: but you don't eat anything though, jas Brad says she
- 28:04Speaker 5: will burn in the fiery pits.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Of hell, backbone ner Bagmone. It's a tough one because
- 28:10Speaker 4: a good point being made here.
- 28:11Speaker 5: There's nothing we showing up to the buffet and an
- 28:13Speaker 5: entire tour group has come through before you and filled
- 28:16Speaker 5: their pockets with all the stuff, which does happen in
- 28:18Speaker 5: tour group's leave quite early as well, they do.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Can I make the point too? And you mentioned it
- 28:22Speaker 3: at the top there, Margie, Secrete away, secrete away. Now,
- 28:27Speaker 3: that tells me that you're being secretive. I mean, if
- 28:30Speaker 3: you're going to do that kind of thing with a buffet,
- 28:34Speaker 3: then just be up front about it. Bring your container
- 28:37Speaker 3: and because if you know that it's five, if you
- 28:42Speaker 3: think it's all g, if you think it's all G,
- 28:45Speaker 3: then just own it and fill up your little container
- 28:48Speaker 3: and then walk out with it in your hands.
- 28:50Speaker 5: So I've just done some research here and basically the
- 28:53Speaker 5: consensus is that if you are bringing a container to
- 28:57Speaker 5: specifically put food in, then that is not okay. However,
- 29:00Speaker 5: if you're taking fruits and pastries to eat later and
- 29:02Speaker 5: wrapping them in like a napkin or something, and that
- 29:04Speaker 5: is okay.
- 29:05Speaker 4: So you can take it. Jays.
- 29:06Speaker 6: You're allowed to fill up all of your pockets, your handbags,
- 29:11Speaker 6: but bringing tappawey would be a purse take.
- 29:13Speaker 5: And if you if you brought like a lunch box
- 29:15Speaker 5: and then scooped scrambled eggs into that and bacon, then no.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I've got an idea. What you could do, right is
- 29:21Speaker 3: turn up with a stick and a big handkerchief and
- 29:25Speaker 3: just pile that full of pastries tied up on the
- 29:27Speaker 3: end of the stick and then walk out like that?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Is that all geek easy according to you?
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it's fine. Are you like a rambler? A rambler?
- 29:36Speaker 4: You're a rambler man?
- 29:38Speaker 3: Yeah? A tramp?
- 29:39Speaker 4: You mean a tramp, that's it?
- 29:42Speaker 3: Yes?
- 29:42Speaker 4: Or a hobo?
- 29:43Speaker 3: A hobo? Yeah, sure, I think it's disgusting. I'm disgusted
- 29:48Speaker 3: by that behavior.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Well I'll let her know.
- 29:51Speaker 6: But you know, as the stick see is here, she
- 29:55Speaker 6: is a filthy fief thief. But she's also pretty hot,
- 29:59Speaker 6: so you know, let it go.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Here's Kings of the Darchy Big Show with Jason, Mike

- 31:16Speaker 6: Eight, I actually saw that interview with Benji Marshall, brim
- 31:20Speaker 6: You'll be excited to know it was a very measured conversation,
- 31:25Speaker 6: not a dire tribe at all. He didn't launch anything
- 31:28Speaker 6: or a ti tirade. Is that what you called it?
- 31:30Speaker 3: I've used its shocking from Yeah, can I just say
- 31:34Speaker 3: went on into character assassination on this show, So maybe
- 31:38Speaker 3: just tone it back a bit, just pull it back
- 31:40Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 31:40Speaker 5: There also tirade let's pronounced para parama, not paramatta.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's all g yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Is that all your sports headlines?

- 32:11Speaker 9: Yeah, there's been a bit of fog in Auckland today,

- 32:17Speaker 4: That's a big swing and a miss from you the relating.
- 32:20Speaker 3: What way, Well, it can get quite foggy in the
- 32:22Speaker 3: White cuttle.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Actually it's a good point, brim.
- 32:25Speaker 9: Yeah, that's a hell of a rural Yeah. So I'm
- 32:29Speaker 9: just trying to bridge the gap there. You know, the
- 32:30Speaker 9: rural urban divide in the rural.
- 32:33Speaker 6: Well, this is the one part where we don't do
- 32:35Speaker 6: anything urban. It's meant to be strictly rural.
- 32:39Speaker 9: Well, do you guys have anything to add.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Well, it's your report now, so don't get news.

- 34:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 5: You know what I hate is a steak and cheese
- 34:32Speaker 5: or and mince. It has heaps of gelatine in it.
- 34:34Speaker 5: It's like gilly.
- 34:35Speaker 6: Oh no, it's a fairl You don't get it with
- 34:37Speaker 6: a dance pie, I would ask you, Nicole.

- 34:43Speaker 3: Ah, you heard the accent. No, they're not, to be honest,
- 34:46Speaker 3: we're probably more of a sweet pie that yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:50Speaker 4: A pumpkin pie.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Yeah, probably more a pumpkin pie in the season. Come on,
- 34:56Speaker 3: well no, So I just don't see the appeal of
- 34:58Speaker 3: a parking It sounds foul, you know what I'm saying.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Does? I would like to try one? So Nicole, if
- 35:06Speaker 6: you can bring one and bring one in this week.
- 35:08Speaker 3: That'll be meant yeah, to bring it in on my
- 35:11Speaker 3: way to work. Yeah. Great, great news for you, Nicole.
- 35:14Speaker 3: You've got yourself two hundred and fifty bucks.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Alright, awesome that have a lovely day.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 4: Pumpkin pie, it's a dessert, it is.
- 35:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 6: I wonder how they make it because it must have
- 35:26Speaker 6: only a very little bit of pumpkin. And I'm not
- 35:28Speaker 6: introesting really eating pumpkin for a mate, let alone a dessert.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I think that the scenario must have been
- 35:35Speaker 3: that there was a glass of pumpkins and someone was like,
- 35:37Speaker 3: what the hell are we going to do with all
- 35:39Speaker 3: these bastards. I let's make a pie out of it.
- 35:42Speaker 6: You can. Yeah, man, it sounds like the history of
- 35:44Speaker 6: the pumpkin pie, because.
- 35:46Speaker 5: I know this in the States as well in Canada,
- 35:49Speaker 5: and that they have pumpkin spice lattes. They do, and
- 35:52Speaker 5: I'm just like, you put pumpkin in your coffee. I
- 35:54Speaker 5: actually had a pumpkin soup yesterday. The wife made it
- 35:58Speaker 5: very very edible.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Did you steal it or did she make it?
- 36:05Speaker 5: Hey fellows, just a quick reminder that there is a
- 36:07Speaker 5: serious amount of pride baked into every Dad's pie.
- 36:11Speaker 3: All right, okay, thanks mind, you can taste it for sure.
- 36:15Speaker 2: The Darky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Tune in on.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Radio Manx Street Preachers there on the Big Show Breakfast
- 36:24Speaker 3: this Wednesday morning. The time is seven fifty one in
- 36:28Speaker 3: the semi final France v. Spain still one love yeah
- 36:33Speaker 3: at the moment. And with that in mind, we thought
- 36:35Speaker 3: we should get the professionals, and we've got sports caster
- 36:38Speaker 3: and commentator, the one and only Jason Pine Piney A
- 36:42Speaker 3: mad bars it, how's life?
- 36:45Speaker 8: I cannot believe I've got the call up to the
- 36:47Speaker 8: Big Show. This is indeed a career highlight for me. Boyfriend, No, it's.
- 36:53Speaker 3: It's great to have you on, Piney. Old Kezy he
- 36:56Speaker 3: said he's worked with you a lot and you're a
- 36:58Speaker 3: good bar No.
- 36:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I know that Pony's a good bastard. I've never
- 37:01Speaker 5: had the pleasure of working with him until now. Piney, Mate,
- 37:04Speaker 5: the reason we've got you on is because we're sort
- 37:06Speaker 5: of having a crack at you know, keeping the audience
- 37:08Speaker 5: abreast of the football.
- 37:10Speaker 4: We're not very good at it.
- 37:11Speaker 5: It's just gone to halftime in the semi final here,
- 37:13Speaker 5: would you be able to give us some more professional
- 37:15Speaker 5: sort of rap of how the first half has.
- 37:17Speaker 8: Gone, Katy, I'll give it a crack look Spain or
- 37:20Speaker 8: wanderl up from a penalt about midway through the first half.
- 37:24Speaker 8: Coming into this game, France are the best attacking team
- 37:26Speaker 8: at this tournament. Everybody thought, Okay, they're going to really
- 37:29Speaker 8: have a crack at Spain. Spain have squeezed France out
- 37:32Speaker 8: of this game. They have controlled possession, they've had the
- 37:36Speaker 8: better of the opportunities. They've given France very few. So
- 37:39Speaker 8: at halftime wander up Spain. France will left come out
- 37:43Speaker 8: in the second half and they've just looked a little
- 37:45Speaker 8: bit off the pace compared to the way they've played
- 37:48Speaker 8: during the tournament. So yeah, second arts would be very
- 37:51Speaker 8: very interesting as France trying to pull back this one.
- 37:53Speaker 8: Nol deficite, what a what a terrible analysis really from me?
- 37:57Speaker 8: It's all generalities and cliches, isn't it that gave you
- 38:01Speaker 8: a bit of a taste of it.
- 38:02Speaker 6: You're absolutely spot on their pony your mad dog, and
- 38:05Speaker 6: that's exactly what I was telling Old Keesy and Hoody
- 38:08Speaker 6: j in between when the songs will playing there, mate,
- 38:10Speaker 6: you're just going to come out and have a swing. Obviously,
- 38:12Speaker 6: France will be feeling the pressure of a nation on them.
- 38:14Speaker 6: Obviously it's that you know, there's a semi final in
- 38:17Speaker 6: a World Cup, but it's best the all day back
- 38:19Speaker 6: at home, so you know, all of this, all of
- 38:23Speaker 6: this additional pressure given it's their national day, a huge
- 38:26Speaker 6: celebration for them, but they've just got to come out
- 38:28Speaker 6: and swing for the fences. If I could give a
- 38:30Speaker 6: little bit of a cricket or baseball parlongs.
- 38:34Speaker 3: It'll be interesting to be inside the French dressing rooms
- 38:37Speaker 3: at heart love.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Together and they'd all have their clothes off and that'll
- 38:45Speaker 6: be in the shower.
- 38:46Speaker 8: Honestly, there's some there's some very good looking men out there.
- 38:49Speaker 8: I have to say when they pand along during the anthem,
- 38:52Speaker 8: it's goodness me. There's some male models out there. But
- 38:55Speaker 8: you're right, we have a French swearing going on in
- 38:58Speaker 8: the Spanish. In the span stressing room, they'll be I'd say,
- 39:02Speaker 8: there'll be more of a serene feeling in there. But
- 39:05Speaker 8: you know France are going to are going to come
- 39:07Speaker 8: out and really have a cracking the second half.
- 39:09Speaker 5: Piney have you ever we're talking to sports cast at
- 39:12Speaker 5: Jason Pine, Piney, have you ever been in a changing
- 39:14Speaker 5: room with naked footballers?
- 39:17Speaker 8: Look, I mean not in the last I mean not
- 39:19Speaker 8: since they told me I couldn't do it anymore. Yeah right, yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 8: Like initially I thought it would be quite a good way,
- 39:25Speaker 8: some insight and so you know what goes on at halftime,
- 39:30Speaker 8: But they told me I couldn't do it anymore.
- 39:35Speaker 5: And one final question for me, Piney, is your name
- 39:38Speaker 5: Jason Pine because he used to ride the pine a
- 39:40Speaker 5: lot as a kid. Because you know, we can, I
- 39:42Speaker 5: can sort of relate to you in that manner. I
- 39:44Speaker 5: used to ride the pine a lot as well.
- 39:46Speaker 8: Yeah, very much. So, yeah, I didn't get on very often.
- 39:49Speaker 8: My position was normally riding the pine on the bench,
- 39:52Speaker 8: called upon when needed, and that wasn't very often. So yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 8: look it seems you know, by a fine by name
- 39:59Speaker 8: and by nature. Absolutely all right, pony.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Finally, your prediction for this match? Where do you see
- 40:04Speaker 3: it ending up?
- 40:06Speaker 8: I think Spain or what I watched the first half,
- 40:08Speaker 8: and I think Spain. They're looking excellent. Plant will be
- 40:11Speaker 8: rattled the square words in their ears ominously motivation. But
- 40:15Speaker 8: I've got Spain going through all right.
- 40:16Speaker 5: Excellent and Poney, would you be open to having a
- 40:19Speaker 5: chat to us again tomorrow with the England Argentina.
- 40:21Speaker 8: Seem absolutely compulsory. I would have thought.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Good, good stuff mate, Enjoy the rest of the match.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Cheers boys, thank you.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Coming up after eight o'clock Fellers, We've got a massive,

- 42:25Speaker 3: which is about two years ago, and you said it rocked.
- 42:28Speaker 6: It's one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I've
- 42:29Speaker 6: seen them a few times before that, and I to
- 42:32Speaker 6: be completely honest with they're one of my favorite bands
- 42:34Speaker 6: that I've seen them probably four times prior to that,
- 42:36Speaker 6: and they never quite lived up to my hopes and dreams.
- 42:39Speaker 6: But the reason why they're so great now is they've
- 42:41Speaker 6: had the same lineup for about ten or fifteen years
- 42:44Speaker 6: and they are just an incredible live band.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Do not miss them.
- 42:48Speaker 6: Take us go on sale on Monday, make sure you
- 42:50Speaker 6: grab yours. And of course we interviewed them the last
- 42:52Speaker 6: time though were here Jason's We did Lovely Feels.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Yeah, we went to the hotel set met them on
- 42:56Speaker 5: the hotel rooftop pub there and like one of the
- 42:59Speaker 5: afternoon and to sit with Josh Homman and the bass
- 43:01Speaker 5: guitarists can't remember his name, Yeah, but lovely guys.
- 43:04Speaker 3: While it was it was a slightly disconcerting interview because
- 43:08Speaker 3: they keep looking at me and just cracking up. But
- 43:10Speaker 3: every time they talk they'd just start laughing. I don't
- 43:13Speaker 3: know why that was. Yeah, I have a few theories
- 43:16Speaker 3: as to why. But yeah, no, great bastards.
- 43:19Speaker 5: Sunday, the twentieth of December this year at Auckland Spark Arena,
- 43:23Speaker 5: Queens of the Stone Age return to New Zealand and

- 43:42Speaker 3: morning going.
- 43:43Speaker 6: Oh it's a beautiful day in auphans Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Pretty foggy. Callum. What do you do for a crust? Mate?

- 43:50Speaker 8: You know computer stuff. That's pretty pretty exciting, you know.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Yeah obviously, Kellum. You're a massive fan of Queens of
- 43:58Speaker 3: the Stone Age, absolutely huge. Yeah. Who would you take
- 44:02Speaker 3: with you?
- 44:03Speaker 6: Well, I'd be a toss up between either my eldest
- 44:06Speaker 6: daughter who's a massive, massive fan as well, or a
- 44:09Speaker 6: lady friend of mine.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Right okay, yeah, yeah mate?
- 44:21Speaker 3: Good I you cadum or you've got that double pass
- 44:23Speaker 3: made and joy?

- 44:36Speaker 4: How that's exciting.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Queens of the Stone Age returning we an now it

- 44:47Speaker 5: this Monday the twentieth at one pm.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Are you going to go to it? Keezy? Because you
- 44:53Speaker 3: know you're not a big fan of concert, you said,
- 44:55Speaker 3: because they get quite noisy.
- 44:57Speaker 4: Into the last one. The whole Darky team went.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Except, yeah, yeah, we did, didn't we good? It was
- 45:05Speaker 3: so good? Really back, here's mus the.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Whole Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune
- 45:15Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Ikey is indeed mu there on the Big Show Breakfast
- 45:22Speaker 3: this Wednesday morning. The time is fourteen minutes past eight o'clock.
- 45:25Speaker 3: The score and the soccer Spain v France till one
- 45:29Speaker 3: nill to Spain. At the moment, Fellers. Now, at the moment,
- 45:32Speaker 3: my youngest daughter, she's house setting for some people looking
- 45:35Speaker 3: after their dog. And she went dog setting and house
- 45:40Speaker 3: sitting at the same time. And she texts me all
- 45:42Speaker 3: the time and goes, I'm starving dead, you know what
- 45:45Speaker 3: can I eat? And unfortunately she's got her father's jeans
- 45:50Speaker 3: in the sense that she gets paid a sit in
- 45:51Speaker 3: amount of money, what like. We give her a little
- 45:53Speaker 3: allowance every week and she gets a little bit of
- 45:57Speaker 3: money for house sitting and looking after the dog. But
- 46:00Speaker 3: she does a hoody jay and she just blows it
- 46:02Speaker 3: all in one night, right, you know what I mean?
- 46:04Speaker 3: So she'll just she'll have a lavish meal and then
- 46:07Speaker 3: spend the rest of the time just starving to death.
- 46:10Speaker 4: Basically, Can I just.
- 46:11Speaker 5: Say that that is like every single person I know
- 46:15Speaker 5: that the year they left home and went to like
- 46:17Speaker 5: Uni or whatever it might have went flatting or whatever
- 46:19Speaker 5: it might.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Be, that is exactly how you operate.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Well, for about five six years I operated like that.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, in my case, it was mostly just booze
- 46:26Speaker 3: that I was buying back in my darts, yeah, and
- 46:29Speaker 3: darts in my dole days. But it has occurred to me,
- 46:32Speaker 3: and you know, I've got I've had four girls, had
- 46:34Speaker 3: some struggles fellas, you know, making the dollar stretch out,
- 46:38Speaker 3: feeding the faro and I thought, you know, it'd be
- 46:41Speaker 3: really great if we could give people some tips about
- 46:45Speaker 3: how to really stretch out that dollar. You know what
- 46:48Speaker 3: I'm saying, some sort of budget advice, I guess, Okay,
- 46:51Speaker 3: if you got any Well, like, for example, what I
- 46:55Speaker 3: do at the start of every week, every Monday, I
- 46:58Speaker 3: make a massive pot of porridge, okay, a huge pot
- 47:02Speaker 3: of porridge. That's good, and I stick that in the
- 47:04Speaker 3: fridge and every morning when I get up for Bricky,
- 47:08Speaker 3: I get that big pot of porridge out. I take
- 47:10Speaker 3: a big dollar of the porridge there and I just
- 47:13Speaker 3: splat it into the into the plate.
- 47:16Speaker 6: That's quite good because it means you can take it around.
- 47:18Speaker 6: But you know, you can put that in a sort
- 47:20Speaker 6: of a coffee takeaway cup. Yes, you take away and
- 47:22Speaker 6: then just suck on that, you know, when you're walking
- 47:24Speaker 6: around the city, as I know you do.
- 47:26Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 47:26Speaker 6: The trick I used to use when I was starving
- 47:28Speaker 6: my ass off, when I was broken on the dollars.
- 47:31Speaker 6: Anytime I felt those hunger pangs, I just go to sleep.
- 47:37Speaker 3: That's the other thing you can do.
- 47:39Speaker 4: Yeah, And so you sleep up. It's sort of like
- 47:42Speaker 4: a you're sort of like a hibernating beer.
- 47:44Speaker 6: You're sort of sleeping around your twenty hours et cetera,
- 47:47Speaker 6: et cetera, and you're just waiting for your next payday
- 47:49Speaker 6: to come through.
- 47:49Speaker 5: Well, the interesting thing about a beer that hibernates is
- 47:51Speaker 5: they eat heaps first. Yes, but whereas you're in the opposite.
- 47:54Speaker 5: I've done that a couple of times. So you goes,
- 47:56Speaker 5: if I just go to sleep now, I'll wake up
- 47:57Speaker 5: and I'll be hungry for breakfast. Yeah, I'll have got
- 47:59Speaker 5: through this meal. I mean, you haven't been broke until
- 48:02Speaker 5: your way of dealing with hunger is to go to sleep.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Yeah yeah. Uh.
- 48:08Speaker 5: One thing, one thing I used to do is you
- 48:10Speaker 5: can make your tea bags go two, three, four a
- 48:14Speaker 5: good run.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Yeah yeah.
- 48:15Speaker 5: So you just you know, obviously use a tea bag,
- 48:18Speaker 5: put it in again and again, and then it might
- 48:21Speaker 5: start to lose its sort of you know, its impact.
- 48:23Speaker 5: That's when you get one of your other old T
- 48:24Speaker 5: bags and put to it double up until you got
- 48:27Speaker 5: about four in there, and gears get the.
- 48:29Speaker 4: Fresh T bag.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, totally.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Yeah. Wow.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Now, I know this is going to sound really extravagant,
- 48:35Speaker 3: but what I used to do is every at the
- 48:38Speaker 3: beginning of every month is buy a cow and then
- 48:43Speaker 3: you just you section it up butcher. Yeah, And I
- 48:48Speaker 3: saved money because I used to do that myself. But
- 48:50Speaker 3: I was trained to do that. I mean, I'm not
- 48:52Speaker 3: you know, putting it out there that you do that
- 48:54Speaker 3: willy nilly, by the way, and I just section that up,
- 48:58Speaker 3: you know, and and free use it for the month.
- 49:02Speaker 4: How much is a cow?
- 49:03Speaker 3: Oh well, I didn't never used to pay.
- 49:05Speaker 4: I used to just you know, the thing about the.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Night go out in my trailer there and just you know,
- 49:10Speaker 3: so you're a cow rustler.
- 49:11Speaker 6: The thing about a cow is if you open a gate,
- 49:15Speaker 6: put a bit of grass at the back of the trailer,
- 49:17Speaker 6: I'll go home with any bastard totally just steal a cow. Well,
- 49:22Speaker 6: three cows have got free will, man, cows have got
- 49:25Speaker 6: free will. So if a cow wants to come and
- 49:26Speaker 6: hop in the trailer and go home with what he
- 49:28Speaker 6: j well that's the cows.
- 49:29Speaker 8: So be it.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Did you have a trailer?
- 49:31Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 49:32Speaker 8: Man?
- 49:32Speaker 9: What?
- 49:33Speaker 3: Actually? I had a horse float weirdly enough?
- 49:36Speaker 4: He actually and in the end you lost that horse. Right.
- 49:38Speaker 4: You used to dub the cows on your pushbike.
- 49:41Speaker 2: The whold Ching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio. Hold Ike.
- 49:53Speaker 9: Sporty headlines, Rod time for your later sport headlines thanks
- 49:59Speaker 9: to export o true. The bear for here was Spain
- 50:02Speaker 9: lead France tu nil in the first FIFA World Cup
- 50:05Speaker 9: semi final in Dallas after sixty eight minutes.
- 50:08Speaker 4: Wow, who's called the goals?
- 50:11Speaker 9: A couple of the Spanish players did, Yeah, what I can?
- 50:16Speaker 9: I have got a fun stat here. Spain has had
- 50:18Speaker 9: about fifty three percent of possession in the match.
- 50:21Speaker 4: That is fun. That's that's really good. There's so much fun.
- 50:25Speaker 9: It was it fifty three fifty three percent when I
- 50:27Speaker 9: last looked about thirty minutes, so.
- 50:28Speaker 3: It's about fifty to fifty, about fifty fifty.
- 50:30Speaker 4: So what are we write and saying that France would have?
- 50:34Speaker 4: Was it for France? I had fifty three? No Spain,
- 50:37Speaker 4: France we had forty seven.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, good and that's there.
- 50:42Speaker 9: The All Blacks are allaying an injury fair to Jordi
- 50:44Speaker 9: Barrett after he didn't train at North Harbor Stadium ahead
- 50:47Speaker 9: of Saturday's tests. Attack coach Mike Bless says he doesn't
- 50:52Speaker 9: believe the second fives in any doubt.
- 50:55Speaker 3: The All Blacks later clarify that Jordy as.
- 51:00Speaker 9: Nile, which isn't funny, and decided to rest him to
- 51:03Speaker 9: manage his workload.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Romple still spread.
- 51:10Speaker 9: Sports graphics and tech pioneer sir Ian Taylor believes joy
- 51:14Speaker 9: is being taken out of sporting moments by review systems.
- 51:18Speaker 9: Recent high profile decisions at the Football World Cup and
- 51:21Speaker 9: the All Blacks win over Italy and in the State
- 51:23Speaker 9: of o are making review systems an increasingly hot topic
- 51:27Speaker 9: of debate.
- 51:29Speaker 6: Well, of course Syria and Taylor there he pioneered, pioneered
- 51:32Speaker 6: the Hawkeye system for cricket, Jase Lbw's et cetera, et cetera, runouts,
- 51:38Speaker 6: all those sorts of things get out of his need
- 51:41Speaker 6: and laboratories. Wow wow, yeah, was telling me all about
- 51:45Speaker 6: that coming on here. He's a massive fiend for sporting technology. Hey,
- 51:51Speaker 6: Brenn Brinn, Yeah, right before you go, Brent.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Now, what's going on into Misia?
- 51:57Speaker 4: Was bo?
- 52:02Speaker 9: What is going on in Tanisia?
- 52:04Speaker 4: Well, that's why you're here.
- 52:05Speaker 5: When you're here, man, it's obviously for you to tell us,
- 52:08Speaker 5: like you're the one that says, hey, I've got a
- 52:10Speaker 5: segment called what's going on Tenizia?
- 52:12Speaker 4: Can you make me a sting?
- 52:13Speaker 9: I think they're they're in the other semi final at FIFA.
- 52:16Speaker 4: I think.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Guys, can we take Brent off our group chat? Because
- 52:23Speaker 3: he keeps coming up with these ideas and they're just
- 52:26Speaker 3: not working for me.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Okay, well we'll give them another another crack.
- 52:29Speaker 9: I could do a market update if you want.
- 52:32Speaker 4: No, Okay, have you prepared?
- 52:34Speaker 9: I haven't actually known.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Okay, here's the Arctic Monkeys, the Hilarchy Big Show with
- 52:42Speaker 2: Jason Mike and Kyzy tune in four on.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Radiolary Arctic Monkey Zera on the Big Show Breakfast this
- 52:49Speaker 3: Wednesday morning. The time is eight thirty six. The score
- 52:52Speaker 3: on the soccer still Spain to Viva la France zero.
- 52:58Speaker 6: Man.
- 52:58Speaker 4: I'll tell you what, man, I've got football fever. Yeah,
- 53:01Speaker 4: I got the fever. Keasy really for the foosball? Brother?
- 53:05Speaker 4: Are you supporting? Look for me? I feel like football
- 53:08Speaker 4: is a winner on the day.
- 53:10Speaker 6: But now that you know, I've always got a soft
- 53:12Speaker 6: one in my heart for the fridge because I came
- 53:14Speaker 6: on to the New Zealand soil when they bombed one
- 53:17Speaker 6: of our you know, bombed the Green Peace boat.
- 53:19Speaker 4: Yes, and I always thought that took you know, real balls.
- 53:22Speaker 4: So you're going for front So are you going for Spain?
- 53:24Speaker 4: I know I'd like to see them get absolutely fellas.
- 53:28Speaker 4: Pydration break, Yeah, Pugs is in, he's got pis.
- 53:35Speaker 6: Oh wow, he's going to pie like a drop pie.
- 53:37Speaker 6: He just dropped a pie on the ground, sauce pegs.
- 53:43Speaker 6: So they do these hydration breaks, don't they? On the
- 53:47Speaker 6: football there, which apparently is a means to sort of
- 53:50Speaker 6: generate a couple of billion dollars of extra revenue. So
- 53:53Speaker 6: we thought we'd did a py edration break, which is
- 53:55Speaker 6: where our pug Sun comes in randomly during the show
- 53:59Speaker 6: and just give us a pie.
- 54:01Speaker 4: We didn't have to eat.
- 54:02Speaker 5: And the football's halfway through each half said about the
- 54:04Speaker 5: twenty two minute mark, the riff just stops play. They
- 54:06Speaker 5: all go and have a branded sports drength. We're doing
- 54:09Speaker 5: the same with Dad's pies for the py dration break.
- 54:12Speaker 3: I've got a butter chicken by the way, fellows, what
- 54:14Speaker 3: are you guys running there?
- 54:15Speaker 4: Mine's butter chicken as well.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Okay, min.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Hey, just while we're on pies too, hot, bag it up?
- 54:24Speaker 3: Is there any sauce? Though? Seriously, I can't do a
- 54:26Speaker 3: pie without sauce.
- 54:27Speaker 4: I'll give you sauce in a minute.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Okay, where you go?
- 54:31Speaker 4: Just while we're on You're gonna give me, hey, just
- 54:37Speaker 4: while we're on pies.
- 54:38Speaker 5: A reminder that the Baker's New Zealand Supreme Pie Awards
- 54:41Speaker 5: are happening August fourth at the Quarters Hotel, and you
- 54:43Speaker 5: want to make a join us. You put on a
- 54:45Speaker 5: suit and tie, you sit at the fancy table with us.
- 54:48Speaker 5: You get to stand out at the Quarters Hotel and
- 54:49Speaker 5: get bricking to. If you're keen, text the word Pie
- 54:51Speaker 5: Awards to three four eight three.
- 54:53Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what. Everyone's going to be there
- 54:55Speaker 3: because I've heard so much about that night. How good it? No, seriously,
- 55:00Speaker 3: everyone just goes off about it. So I'm going this year,
- 55:03Speaker 3: You're going this year, two years.
- 55:05Speaker 4: I'm going to go this year as well, mate. I
- 55:06Speaker 4: can't wait.
- 55:07Speaker 6: You get to you know, chow down on some pie
- 55:10Speaker 6: and the winners. I'll also get that there's obviously the
- 55:12Speaker 6: big dinner and she's a three course meal, and then
- 55:16Speaker 6: you get to a few beers and you get responsibly steamed.
- 55:18Speaker 6: Then you get to chew old Hoody jay z is off. Yeah,
- 55:21Speaker 6: both of them. That's the end of the py edration
- 55:23Speaker 6: break Fellers.
- 55:26Speaker 4: Ads.
- 55:26Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 55:28Speaker 2: The Hurdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Iky is indeed the food fighters there on the Big
- 55:34Speaker 3: Show Breakfast this Wednesday morning. The time is eight forty
- 55:37Speaker 3: six and there's a lot of sporting action going on
- 55:39Speaker 3: at the moment, Feelers and this weekend there's a real
- 55:43Speaker 3: sporting dilemma.
- 55:44Speaker 5: There is obviously the Football World Cup right now, Spain's
- 55:47Speaker 5: still out in front two nothing over fronts. My parents
- 55:50Speaker 5: are coming up to Aucland this weekend to visit. And
- 55:53Speaker 5: the reason they are coming is Megan's got pie crume
- 55:57Speaker 5: on his for I don't know how that happens. The
- 56:00Speaker 5: reason they're coming up to visit is because my dad
- 56:02Speaker 5: is a staunch rugby union man. He loves the Chiefs,
- 56:04Speaker 5: he loves the Bay a Plenty Steamers, and he loves
- 56:08Speaker 5: the All Blacks.
- 56:09Speaker 4: He loves the steamer man that runs in the family.
- 56:11Speaker 4: It does. We do love this, to be honest. If
- 56:13Speaker 4: I had to choose out of the three to what
- 56:14Speaker 4: I'd watch, the Steamers, Yeah.
- 56:15Speaker 3: I don't know that I'd watch the Steamer but I mean,
- 56:18Speaker 3: I mean, carry on.
- 56:19Speaker 5: The Steamers rugby team, all right. But they're coming up
- 56:23Speaker 5: to Auckland this weekend. I have organized tickets for us
- 56:25Speaker 5: to go and watch the Warriors play live, and it'll
- 56:28Speaker 5: be my parents' first ever Warriors game. Basically, I've been
- 56:31Speaker 5: trying to convince my dad to get on board with
- 56:33Speaker 5: the Warriors, but he loves rugby union. He's like, nah,
- 56:35Speaker 5: he's a union man. He's like you, Jayson, like just
- 56:37Speaker 5: being a score and intentionally being anti the Warriors. Yeah,
- 56:41Speaker 5: totally and so I was all right, fine, I got
- 56:43Speaker 5: to get his tickets. So him and mam are coming up.
- 56:45Speaker 5: It's going to be very exciting. However, the massive All
- 56:48Speaker 5: Blacks game, which is All Blacks taking on Ireland, is
- 56:51Speaker 5: at the same time Saturday night in Auckland. One's at
- 56:54Speaker 5: Eden Park, one's at Mount Smart the All Blacks. I
- 56:56Speaker 5: think it's just after seven, whereas the wars are at
- 56:58Speaker 5: seven thirty five.
- 57:00Speaker 4: Very fuming.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Yeah, very easy for me. I'm like your dad, he
- 57:04Speaker 3: will be human. You take dragging him along to that
- 57:09Speaker 3: dire stadium out in the middle of the wop wops
- 57:14Speaker 3: watching them instead of watching a great All Black test match.
- 57:17Speaker 3: So I'll be fully unionized. It'll be the All Blacks
- 57:22Speaker 3: v Ireland, not even a challenge, not even a question.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Where did you become aware of this? Kusy is deliberate.
- 57:29Speaker 5: I became aware of this literally maybe twenty minutes ago,
- 57:32Speaker 5: when I was out in the office, right and the
- 57:34Speaker 5: girls are talking about how they go to the game
- 57:36Speaker 5: at Eden Park on Saturday night.
- 57:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and I was like, hang on, I'm at the
- 57:39Speaker 4: Warriors Saturday night. Yeah.
- 57:41Speaker 6: It's going to be interesting to see how your father
- 57:42Speaker 6: reacts to this, because it is a huge game.
- 57:46Speaker 4: It is a huge game.
- 57:47Speaker 6: And even for me, like I absolutely love the Wars,
- 57:50Speaker 6: you know, any other week and they would be the priority.
- 57:53Speaker 4: But given us against Ireland, you know the Abs.
- 57:56Speaker 3: Yeah, in the last seriously, in the last three years,
- 57:59Speaker 3: they have been out standingly good. They've been handing our
- 58:02Speaker 3: ass to us.
- 58:03Speaker 4: Yes, here's your assy. Here it is, take a look.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Oh that's cute.
- 58:07Speaker 4: So what I'm thinking of doing is, you know, you.
- 58:09Speaker 5: Watch the Wars live and then after that we go
- 58:11Speaker 5: home and watch a delay of the All Blacks. However,
- 58:13Speaker 5: by that stage it could be you know, sort of
- 58:15Speaker 5: ten o'clock, which means the game won't finished at almost midnight.
- 58:18Speaker 4: They want to do that?
- 58:19Speaker 3: Can I profer a solution here?
- 58:22Speaker 4: Is that the same as offer, Yes, your dad's.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Most welcome at the Jiz Palace, my joint, you're yeah,
- 58:33Speaker 3: my apartment time and your mum. Of course. The whole
- 58:37Speaker 3: point is that open on snacks and cheeses and cold meat.
- 58:40Speaker 4: No you won't. You'll get them to pick it up
- 58:41Speaker 4: on the way, some pickles, some chatneys. The thing is
- 58:45Speaker 4: that they're coming up to watch the Wars live for
- 58:46Speaker 4: the first time. Oh, that's right, that's the whole point
- 58:49Speaker 4: of this whole Well, how about this? How about this?
- 58:52Speaker 6: You go to the Warriors, you take along a laptop, okay,
- 58:56Speaker 6: and on the laptop you put the All Blacks game.
- 59:00Speaker 4: You're nice, wrious, the best of both world. Yeah. But
- 59:02Speaker 4: the people around you will love you, Keezy for doing that.
- 59:05Speaker 4: Think of all the friends you'll make. I kin'd of
- 59:07Speaker 4: want them to lock in on the wars though.
- 59:09Speaker 3: Fellas come. I just put it out to the audience
- 59:11Speaker 3: actually on three four eight three. I know you don't
- 59:15Speaker 3: want me to.
- 59:15Speaker 4: What's that?
- 59:16Speaker 3: Just the idea, yea, and what they're going to go with.
- 59:20Speaker 3: Get a vibe about it.
- 59:21Speaker 4: I see what you mean.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Maybe tomorrow we can have an official poll line idea.
- 59:25Speaker 4: It'll be interesting to see which way people fall on this.
- 59:28Speaker 3: In the meantime, He's Pearl Jam.
- 59:32Speaker 2: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 59:37Speaker 3: I King Xi's there on the Big Show Breakfast this
- 59:41Speaker 3: Wednesday morning. Now exciting news and maybe some of the
- 59:45Speaker 3: Breakfast audience who aren't really familiar with the Big Show.
- 59:47Speaker 3: We'll notice we do live shows quite often. We get
- 59:50Speaker 3: out on the road and we go and see all
- 59:52Speaker 3: the backbones out there, and we're about to very shortly
- 59:56Speaker 3: head out on the road again fellas.
- 59:57Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right, Jason, Well you say very short. We're
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: talking November. Oh is it November November for this particular one,
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Dunedin Craft Beer and Food.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: Oh I got you.
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: Yes, they got a few more events before that. But today,
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: right now we're just saying, look, hello, it's happening. We're
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: going down again to Dunedin for the Craft Beer and
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: Food Festival. Still working out the details. There will be
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: a live show the night before or actually as part
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: of the festival.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: Last time. Remember we're in the area in the middle
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: of the festival.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: Yes, I remember, bloody great seat up they've got there
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: by the way.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: Turned into a bit of a moshi there, which was
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: cool it did. But if you are keen to join,
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: text the word Dunedin too three four eight three. You
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: can also hit to hoduck you dot co dot zi
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: to find the details there. That'll send you along to
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: the website to get tickets if you're going to join.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: And it's a two day a fair I believe last
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: year was a Friday Saturday. If you want to see
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: the big show live go on the Friday Friday evening.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Because I remember you actually stayed on, didn't you keasy
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: for the whole two days? You came back a shall
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: of a man.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Pugs and I we did.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Actually we met these two fellers who kept giving us
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: dirry and boozers and stuff. Yeah, and Emerson's at the time.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: Actually we pretty much just had free access to their
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: keigs and that.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: Yes, so it was, it was, It was a it
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: was you know, Well, the great thing about it it's
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: in the stadium there, and of course it's covered down there,
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: and and you know, you get your food stools, there's
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: all sorts of stuff going on, live music. It's a
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: hell of a weekend.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: It was my first time ever going down there. I've
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: not been there before. I've not been to the Sustainer either.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: That the stadium that have got down their bloody magnificence
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: set up and as you say, like the music. In
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: terms of the artist, it was bloody huge. If I'm
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: not mistaken. I think Sir David Dobbin probably played because
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: he plays everywhere. Mega Death, the.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Rolling Stone, Yeah, the Rolling Stones were there, which surprised me. Coldplay, Yeah,
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: cold Play. I went home when they came in Tom.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Petty, Tom Petty, Yeah, he was awesome. He's still got
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: to day.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: He does well.

- 1:02:04Speaker 5: you down there.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Tune in on Radio Holky Big Audio dynam I there
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: on the Big Show Breakfast this Wednesday morning. Let's get
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: into a bit of TV chat. What's on the Telly
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: with Mike Minogue. Yeah, that's right.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: Last night I watched another episode of Brennan COO's Singles Club,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: which you can see. They're on YouTube free of charge,
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: and you very good. They've gone to all sorts of
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: different places. They had an episode. So this is Brittany
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: Stent and Kuda Forrester, the comedians. It's the second season
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: of their show. The first one one Best Entertainment Show
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: possibly at the TV Awards, and it's very very good.
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: In the first season they were talking about what it's
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: like to be single as you're sort of getting older
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: as a woman. But very very funny, very sightful, very
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: really lovely chat that they had as they travel around
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: the country going to various singles events. Now Kuda Forester
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: is pregnant during the show, and Brittanley stant has got
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: a partner, but still wondering does she go overseas?
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: Does she stay back?
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: All these sorts of things they've been and met ex
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: boyfriends and had yarns with them about what their relationships
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: were like at the time, and.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: Traveled through Wellington.
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: Last night's episode, episode five, they were over in Gisbone
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: which is where kudas mariahs so she met her cousin
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: at or two over there, Bloody beautiful.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: I haven't been to Guzzy for man thirty plus years.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: I got to go.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's amazingn't Yeah, I'd love to go to Guzzy again. Yeah,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: we'll go and copple over of that because it sounds
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: really good. I'm going to start watching that tonight.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: It's a great show. I give it four busies out
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: of a possible five. I'm not sure how many episodes
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: are left, but yeah, it's there on YouTube at Brinn
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: and COO's Singles Club Beautiful Fellas.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Last night I watched an old classic movie called Bicycle
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Thieves nineteen forty eight. It was made Wow Wow as Spanish. Yes, no, French,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: French and no, actually Italian, There we go?
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: Is it the one that's in English?
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: No. In post war Rome, Antonio, a man desperate for work,
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: definitely is shattered when the bicycle he needs for his
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: job is stolen. With the help of his son Bruno,
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: he sets out to find it. Sounds boring and tedious,
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: doesn't it. But I think it won a massive amount
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: of awards, this particular movie, and it's one of those
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: movies that is a really simple storyline, just beautifully told,
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: and I think it was a sort of herald of
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: the startup sort of realism and film and so forth.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Very sad, very moving. The little kid who plays Bruno,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: it's just outstanding. I mean, they're all outstanding, and it's
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I personally love seeing real life sort of footage of
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: nineteen forty eight around that time of Italy and stuff
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: like that. It's just a really simple story, beautifully done,
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: beautifully acted, and beautifully told. I'll give it four out
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: of five buzzies.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: You simply must go. You simply must What is it
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: called bicycle thieves?
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: Bicycle thieves?
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: Jace, I have become hooked on Samsung TV. Yeah man,
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: which is the thing that Jay Zoways bangs on about.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: And it's the Korean channels.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: How good?
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: Eh So, I'm addicted to this Korean channel that follows
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: food shows and there's one called Street Food Fighter. It's
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: a South Korean food travel show where chef host Bake
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: Jong one walks around street food markets and he was
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: in Hong Kong and then he was in Bangkok and
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: just walks into all these tiny little shops, orders the
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: local stuff, talks to the shift and then just eats
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: it in front of you and just like explains what
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: it is. I watched three episodes in a row. Yeah man,
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: so good Samsung TV Street Food Fighter. I'm gonna be
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: delving through all those channels about the Ice channel as well.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Oh how good?
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: I might watch an episode of that good. It's good.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: How are you mocked? Kezy? How are you mock?
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I reckon?
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's pretty good.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: I like it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: The Whodichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Well the Go Your Mad Bassards that's the big show.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Breakfast Done and Dusted Today now if you don't know this,
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: you're new to the Big Show. We do a bonus
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: podcast called the podcast Outro, which we record every morning
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: before the show in this instance, and every afternoon when
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: we're doing the afternoon show. Before the show, it's just
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: the fellas having a bit of a chin wag, really,
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: isn't it.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: Yeah, a little bit of a gossip, a little bit
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: of a catch up about what's happened in the previous
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: twenty three year shows.
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: Twenty hoursay that, especially while we're on the Bricky Show.
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: We're back to normal next week. But the outro is
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: a warm up.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: Yeah, it was really cruise. It gets my brain working. Yes,
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: I actually can talk and six am sharp.
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: It's funny because we come in here in the morning
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: cause he's always sitting out at the table out there,
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: he's doing a word search, yeah, or in the paper.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: Sometimes you come in you're doing a little bit of
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: coloring in and he's not. He's not got a word
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: to say. He's definitely you're definitely still waking up, aren't you. Yeah,
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: But it's because of you coming very very loud. That's
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: the that's the difference.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: But it's not what am I doing?
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, today. You were sitting on the couch this
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: first time.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: You've already been here, actually, Jason, but you're in a
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: you're in a much better you're to me, it seems
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: you're becoming accustomed to mornings.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: I'm adjusting.
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: Yeah, And speaking of the couch, Maggie. The clip from
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: today's podcast, which comes out a little later on, is
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: entitled couch Time. I was drinking a beer on the
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: couch and playing play station that was actually stoked.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: With your little button mushroom rolling to the shot. That's funny.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Start stop start, start.
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: What what is that?
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: Why is that?
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: Is that?
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: What it is?
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: For me it was it was the it.
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: But for me it was like, I'm literally just talking
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: about sitting on the couch and then Jay starts talking
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: about my downstairs.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: It's very confusing, Magie.
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: Straight off to work for you, Yeah, I think so, man,
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: I'll go home and some breakfast with the old far
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: now that it's quite good because it's school holiday so
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: my daughter's at home.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: But yeah, and then ripping into some work. Fellas. I
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: got to say, I'm loving it. I'm loving the mornings.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Good stuff, mate, What about you, Keezy, I've got a
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: quiet one.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: So they've got some trade's coming around to my house
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: to do some repairs, and then, to be honest, I'm
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: just gonna maybe have a nap, maybe for a walk,
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: maybe go for a ride on my motorbike.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: I haven't decided yet, Jason, what about you men?
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Same for me, actually, Kizy, we've got trade's coming around
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: today as well. Get them over and done with, and
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: then wander around the city aimlessly.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a wive.
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: Obviously we'll all be listening to Big Sandy's and the
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: Hudaky Day Show of course.
