- 0:37Speaker 2: dot com using our link in the description. If you
- 0:41Speaker 2: look at the chart right now, guys, I'm looking at
- 0:43Speaker 2: the eighth chart. A nice significant move here to twenty
- 0:47Speaker 2: three hundred, up quite a bit twenty percent just in
- 0:50Speaker 2: the last few days. If you look at bitcoin also
- 0:53Speaker 2: trading about I think that was about a twelve percent
- 0:55Speaker 2: up when you look at where bitcoin is trading. And
- 0:59Speaker 2: one thing that is interesting to me is the fact
- 1:02Speaker 2: that we have continued to see where not only bitcoin
- 1:06Speaker 2: an ether going.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But could we see an all coin season.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'm going to get into that a little bit later
- 1:11Speaker 2: here in the episode, but before I go there, I
- 1:13Speaker 2: want to kind of frame this up because there's a
- 1:15Speaker 2: lot of things happening.
- 1:16Speaker 1: In the S and P five hundred.
- 1:18Speaker 2: You look at the market, and I think you probably
- 1:20Speaker 2: saw us talking about this over the last couple of weeks.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Watch out.
- 1:24Speaker 2: We could be seeing a little bit of a rotation
- 1:26Speaker 2: of capital coming out of the S and P five
- 1:28Speaker 2: hundred and of course right there you can kind of
- 1:30Speaker 2: see some of the indicators two trillion coming off and
- 1:34Speaker 2: wiped from the market right now. We have seen this before,
- 1:38Speaker 2: now we haven't seen it in such a short time.
- 1:41Speaker 2: That's another factor that we'll play into this. So be
- 1:44Speaker 2: on the lookout there because as we see more pain
- 1:47Speaker 2: coming into the S and P five hundred and there
- 1:49Speaker 2: could be that it's very possible that we could probably
- 1:52Speaker 2: see more movement on what's going on with crypto. Another
- 1:56Speaker 2: factor that you have to look at is rising gas
- 1:58Speaker 2: prices twenty seven percent, and in a very short period
- 2:01Speaker 2: of time we're up to three seventy two per gallon.
- 2:04Speaker 2: This is the largest I shouldn't say the largest, it's
- 2:06Speaker 2: the fastest increase that we've had in the last thirty years.
- 2:09Speaker 2: If you look at the chart, you can kind of
- 2:12Speaker 2: see it right here, the explosion of where we are
- 2:14Speaker 2: right now, all of this being instructed into the market,
- 2:18Speaker 2: mainly for what's going on in the straight up home moves.
- 2:20Speaker 1: In with Iran.
- 2:21Speaker 2: The last time we saw this was during a global pandemic.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It took about six months to see a thirty seven
- 2:27Speaker 2: percent move. So you can see, guys, we are on
- 2:30Speaker 2: our way now. Does that mean that the market is
- 2:32Speaker 2: going to get more and more pressure? This also plays
- 2:36Speaker 2: into how the economic frame starts to play into this.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Look at this surging gas price now is fueling employee pushback.
- 2:44Speaker 2: This is against return to office mandates. Even though it's
- 2:47Speaker 2: not completely similar to what happened in twenty twenty one.
- 2:50Speaker 2: The fact that I think the fear is there of
- 2:53Speaker 2: people saying, hey, the cost of gas going up to
- 2:56Speaker 2: five bucks a gallon like it did during the Ukraine War.
- 2:59Speaker 2: This is a real deal, and I think this is
- 3:02Speaker 2: a factor that people need to play into. Is because
- 3:04Speaker 2: remember a lot of this is built on market sentiment,
- 3:08Speaker 2: how people are feeling about the economy, and right now
- 3:11Speaker 2: people are not feeling good about the economy, and that
- 3:14Speaker 2: means one thing. It means we are going to continue
- 3:16Speaker 2: to see pain. One of the things that's going to
- 3:18Speaker 2: cause that pain is what's happening in the straits. When
- 3:21Speaker 2: you look at this sweet by the COBC letter, which
- 3:24Speaker 2: by the way, big shout out to them. They're doing
- 3:25Speaker 2: a great job on covering this. They're looking at Bow Straits,
- 3:28Speaker 2: the Hormuz Straight And then let me bring up this
- 3:30Speaker 2: image because this is very significant. The Strait of Hormuz
- 3:35Speaker 2: and the strait of the Bob al Mandab Strait. These
- 3:39Speaker 2: are the two choke points that you have in the
- 3:41Speaker 2: Middle East. One both are on each side of Saudi Arabia.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Saudi Arabia has a big pipeline. They're shuttling fuel and
- 3:49Speaker 2: oil over to the other coast, but that coast still
- 3:51Speaker 2: has to go through this one. Between these two you
- 3:54Speaker 2: have the number one and the number four choke point
- 3:58Speaker 2: via supply setting up right now in what's going on
- 4:03Speaker 2: with this conflict, and this is going to get more
- 4:06Speaker 2: pain if we don't get out of there. If you
- 4:08Speaker 2: look at the tracker right now, the cost tracker is
- 4:11Speaker 2: getting significant right there, twenty one billion and we're starting
- 4:15Speaker 2: to lose more Americans. I think this is going to
- 4:18Speaker 2: be the biggest issue right there. How many service members
- 4:21Speaker 2: we continue to lose. This is the problem I think
- 4:23Speaker 2: Trump is going to face.
- 4:25Speaker 1: He's got to get out of there.
- 4:26Speaker 2: The off ramp has to start, and it has to
- 4:29Speaker 2: start now. So I want to go to a clip
- 4:31Speaker 2: real quick because this will get into the frame of
- 4:34Speaker 2: why this market is where it is. Here's a clip
- 4:37Speaker 2: here that talks about this could be the worst month yet.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Are you more bearish after the weekend's events, the commentary around.
- 4:44Speaker 4: The Middle East?
- 4:46Speaker 3: I am probably more bearished. I'm feeling pretty negative on Friday.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I'm feeling pretty negative again today. I mean the MSCI
- 4:53Speaker 3: i'll country World indexes heading for its worst month since
- 4:56Speaker 3: September twenty twenty three, worst month than almost three years.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I still don't think that fallen enough. The stocks keep
- 5:01Speaker 3: on falling, but in this jagged fashion, they keep on
- 5:03Speaker 3: bouncing back impressively in the European morning, and then kind
- 5:06Speaker 3: of heading lower later on as we realize there's no
- 5:09Speaker 3: kind of salvation yet. So I think it looks very poor,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and it goes back to your kind of initial question though, Lizzie,
- 5:16Speaker 3: you know, how are markets reading the fact that countries
- 5:19Speaker 3: aren't forthcoming for providing support for the stret up romos.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I think everyone knows that most of the world, barring
- 5:26Speaker 3: probably Russia and Iran, want the Strait to be open again,
- 5:30Speaker 3: and therefore people would like to help. But what is
- 5:32Speaker 3: the goal here? I mean, you know, Bloomberg had a
- 5:34Speaker 3: story out of the weekend saying people are a bit
- 5:35Speaker 3: confused what Trump's goals are. It isn't clear the US
- 5:39Speaker 3: administration knows what their goals are, so you know, at
- 5:42Speaker 3: the moment, all this does is highlight the fact that
- 5:44Speaker 3: there's no easy resolution in sight, and that's why I
- 5:47Speaker 3: think stocks need to price materially lower still, all.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Right, So the thing that I think sets off the
- 5:54Speaker 2: market the most right now is the uncertainty, and that's
- 5:59Speaker 2: kind of what I think that Trump administration has been
- 6:02Speaker 2: able to dictate. Is uncertainty is for sure the one
- 6:06Speaker 2: cornerstone that is happening. And when you think about uncertainty,
- 6:10Speaker 2: you have to look at some of the other things
- 6:11Speaker 2: that are happening just here in the United States. One
- 6:14Speaker 2: of course, is getting to where we have the US
- 6:17Speaker 2: airline CEOs asking Congress to restore funding to homeland security.
- 6:21Speaker 2: This all talking about TSA. I don't know if you
- 6:23Speaker 2: guys have been trying to fly here recently. It's a
- 6:25Speaker 2: big problem right now. It has become more of a
- 6:28Speaker 2: stopgap that we're dealing with now with US travel. This
- 6:31Speaker 2: is only more narratives that are not good I think
- 6:35Speaker 2: for President Trump and the current administration of where things
- 6:38Speaker 2: are going s and P all time high by many
- 6:42Speaker 2: people saying March sari first, not a chance. It was
- 6:45Speaker 2: up here into February at seventy eight percent. Guys, it
- 6:50Speaker 2: is March sixteenth, and it has plummeted to fourteen percent.
- 6:55Speaker 2: That's right, plummeted from sixty plus almost seventy percent to
- 7:00Speaker 2: fourteen percent. Think about that right there. That is loss
- 7:03Speaker 2: of confidence in the market. And I think Cudmore is right.
- 7:07Speaker 2: It is a scenario around instability, the market instability, and
- 7:13Speaker 2: then what we're dealing with on a global standpoint right now.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So it's getting.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Worse and worse. One thing it is not getting worse
- 7:19Speaker 2: for right now is crypto. Crypto because many people kind
- 7:22Speaker 2: of thought, hey, crypto is the one place where we
- 7:25Speaker 2: could see rotation, and if you look at gold starting
- 7:29Speaker 2: to fall has been over the last ten days. You
- 7:31Speaker 2: look at the S and P five hundred, we're starting
- 7:33Speaker 2: to see rotation coming out. You look even at money
- 7:36Speaker 2: markets and ETFs other than inflowsd to ETFs on Bitcoin
- 7:41Speaker 2: and ether. But the key here is right now we've
- 7:44Speaker 2: got all of this setting up to where we're seeing
- 7:46Speaker 2: a rotation into possibly bitcoin eth. And as we're recording
- 7:50Speaker 2: right now, Bitcoin is well above seventy four k again
- 7:53Speaker 2: with Eth hitting twenty three hundred, one of the largest
- 7:56Speaker 2: points hit. As I said earlier, other thing is you
- 7:59Speaker 2: got to look at as the coin chart right here,
- 8:01Speaker 2: this is on the fear.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And Greed index.
- 8:03Speaker 2: But if you look at all coins starting to move
- 8:05Speaker 2: quickly about a season that actually could be brewing. If
- 8:09Speaker 2: you look at the fear and greed, look at this
- 8:11Speaker 2: spike right here. That's a spike that we have seen
- 8:15Speaker 2: since the seventh of February, which is when we were
- 8:18Speaker 2: in the doldrums, hovering at about ten now coming in
- 8:22Speaker 2: at forty three. This is the largest spike since Liberation Day.
- 8:27Speaker 2: And part of this is what we're seeing around US investors.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Bitcoin of course zooming up to seventy four k. Another
- 8:34Speaker 2: seventy ninety three million of an ETF inflows. The other
- 8:36Speaker 2: thing you're going to look at right here is the
- 8:39Speaker 2: fact that we're seeing this all around US investors.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And I think one thing if.
- 8:43Speaker 2: You consider that this is positive, I think for crypto
- 8:47Speaker 2: markets in general, I'm curious how the global market is
- 8:50Speaker 2: going to curtail behind this or do they And do
- 8:53Speaker 2: we get more of a move here in actuality, possibly
- 8:56Speaker 2: a shift in the market completely into bitcoin, which is
- 9:00Speaker 2: really where it's been going. We did poll real quick,
- 9:03Speaker 2: given the macro backdrop, war, oil spike of spike and
- 9:06Speaker 2: then of course weak stocks.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Will Bitcoin hit the eighty k mark right now?
- 9:10Speaker 2: It is leading at thirty four percent, Yes, but there
- 9:15Speaker 2: is still a strong contingent that says no, it's not
- 9:18Speaker 2: going to hit eighty k. So let me know what
- 9:19Speaker 2: you guys think. Hit some comments down below, just put
- 9:22Speaker 2: bitcoin eighty k or bitcoin wherever you think.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Let me know. We'll get into that.
- 9:29Speaker 2: One other thing you to look at is the Clarity Act,
- 9:31Speaker 2: And this, of course is a little bit more promising
- 9:33Speaker 2: because you're starting to see the movement right here from
- 9:36Speaker 2: that fifty six percent low popping up to sixty one.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So a nice move up.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Many people speculating that there is a deal on the
- 9:44Speaker 2: table that might end up getting this across the line.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Let's jump over to a tweet real quick, let me
- 9:49Speaker 2: or actually a post here by eleanor One thing that
- 9:52Speaker 2: is for sure is the Senate Making Committee. This is
- 9:55Speaker 2: going to be Tim Scott. He's going to be attending
- 9:57Speaker 2: the event there in DC this week and he's going
- 10:01Speaker 2: to be asked the big question here, which is when
- 10:04Speaker 2: the committee is going to hold the next markup. For
- 10:06Speaker 2: him to know that, he's got to understand that negotiations
- 10:09Speaker 2: are well underway. Cody Carbona in the same article believes
- 10:12Speaker 2: negotiations between the crypto industry and banks are nearing a
- 10:16Speaker 2: conclusion and could happen.
- 10:17Speaker 1: As early as this week.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So this is what I'm hearing from some of my
- 10:21Speaker 2: DC contacts, is that there is a potential concession being
- 10:26Speaker 2: worked out, So be on the lookout for that, guys.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That is where we are.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Black Rock, of course, is starting to move heavily into
- 10:33Speaker 2: eth staking and if you look at one of the
- 10:36Speaker 2: key things here, the ethereum ETF already the third fastest
- 10:40Speaker 2: ETF in history to ten billion. And this is all
- 10:43Speaker 2: building around some new elements around institutional investors are going
- 10:48Speaker 2: to absolutely start to move this market. I think these
- 10:51Speaker 2: are the key things, especially for eth that could really
- 10:54Speaker 2: break it out. One thing that is of note here
- 10:56Speaker 2: is that World Liberty Finance, which has USD one, is
- 11:00Speaker 2: now looking at incentives on USD one that passed with
- 11:04Speaker 2: the ninety ine point one percent approval, So they are
- 11:06Speaker 2: going to be four yields. So that could be drawing
- 11:10Speaker 2: the line right now in the Clarity conversion of do we.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Get yields do we not get yields?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Is it going to be an active or a passive
- 11:17Speaker 2: situation that's coming out of the Clarity Act negotiations.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I think that is going to be huge. If you
- 11:22Speaker 1: look at.
- 11:22Speaker 2: The market, though this is on DeFi Lama, you'll notice
- 11:26Speaker 2: that staplecoin has been moving up and up and up
- 11:29Speaker 2: and up in terms of total value total market gap.
- 11:32Speaker 2: But what's happening here even though we're not seeing continued rise,
- 11:37Speaker 2: think about this, Bitcoin is seventy four ethereum at twenty
- 11:41Speaker 2: three up twelve percent, respectively, and yet at the same
- 11:46Speaker 2: time we're seeing kind of a flat move right here.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That means new money, new money coming into the market
- 11:52Speaker 2: and that is a good sign for crypto.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I want to get into.
- 11:55Speaker 2: A couple of clips here, and the first one, which
- 12:00Speaker 2: would I think cause new money and old money to
- 12:03Speaker 2: get in the market faster, is how does Trump navigate
- 12:07Speaker 2: the mid terms. Here's a clip of Anthony Scaramucci talking
- 12:11Speaker 2: about that.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 12:12Speaker 5: He does not want to go into the mid terms
- 12:15Speaker 5: with a ground war. It's pulling at twelve percent. This
- 12:18Speaker 5: is the worst polling war, below Korea, below all the
- 12:21Speaker 5: other wars. He's already signaled that to his friends and
- 12:24Speaker 5: the golf And the one thing that I want to
- 12:26Speaker 5: address here is Trump likes money, and he gets money
- 12:30Speaker 5: from the Israeli donors. He gets money from Sheldon Nagelson's widow,
- 12:35Speaker 5: and he's getting a lot of money from the golf States.
- 12:38Speaker 5: In terms of these real estate deals that his kids
- 12:40Speaker 5: keep announcing. He's got four billion dollars that he's made
- 12:44Speaker 5: so far in the first term, you know, the PIF,
- 12:47Speaker 5: and he doesn't want that pulled away from him. And
- 12:50Speaker 5: whether you got whether Trump supporters that listen to your
- 12:53Speaker 5: so like it or not. He's motivated by money, He's
- 12:56Speaker 5: motivated by attention, and I think those two things are.
- 12:58Speaker 6: Going to and let's get the point though, it's pull
- 13:01Speaker 6: them out of the company.
- 13:01Speaker 7: If you think legacy is number one at this point
- 13:03Speaker 7: in life, okay, you don't think legacies, no, I think extra.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Billion dollars is more than the legacy when you're worth
- 13:08Speaker 6: five billion. But if legacy is number one.
- 13:10Speaker 5: You see now you're thinking like you know, thinking like jump.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Do you think he wants to be remember as the greatest
- 13:14Speaker 6: president that did all these things?
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think it's secondary. I think the three I think
- 13:17Speaker 1: the three.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Things are money, attention, he's got to have us talking
- 13:22Speaker 5: about him. And then the third thing is if I
- 13:24Speaker 5: generally do a good job, as long as it keeps
- 13:27Speaker 5: inside the ambit of my self interest, then that's fine.
- 13:32Speaker 1: All right.
- 13:32Speaker 2: So whether you agree with that or not, you have
- 13:36Speaker 2: to agree with the data because the data, now polling
- 13:39Speaker 2: data as well as what's happening on poly market and
- 13:43Speaker 2: poly market has been very accurate.
- 13:45Speaker 1: When it comes to the political spectrum. Look at this
- 13:49Speaker 1: move here.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Obviously we saw this around what happened with Ice, but
- 13:53Speaker 2: you consistently see a movement here. All of this, I
- 13:57Speaker 2: think is economic, economic, jobs issues like that until we
- 14:02Speaker 2: get into the war, and then boom. You've got the war,
- 14:06Speaker 2: the economy, you've got ice, You've got all these issues
- 14:09Speaker 2: coming to a head at once, and you have a
- 14:12Speaker 2: flipping occurring right here.
- 14:14Speaker 1: The Republican Party is now this. We did show this last.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Week and the Republican Party was right here at about
- 14:21Speaker 2: sixty percent. That means just in a short period time
- 14:24Speaker 2: since February the twenty seventh to the sixteenth of March,
- 14:28Speaker 2: they have lost twenty percent in probability of getting back in.
- 14:34Speaker 2: And this is a problem for the Senate, especially because
- 14:37Speaker 2: it does mean that Trump loses the Senate, he becomes
- 14:41Speaker 2: a lame duck president, and this becomes a major factor
- 14:44Speaker 2: and meeting people say, though, hey, markets have always performed,
- 14:47Speaker 2: especially crypto markets have always performed well in lame duck presidencies.
- 14:51Speaker 2: We've seen it before. What do you guys think Do
- 14:54Speaker 2: you think we're there? I want to play another clip
- 14:56Speaker 2: because Scaramuci went on to some key thing that other
- 15:01Speaker 2: countries think about President Trump.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Take a look, Anthony, you really think Russia, Iran, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: China would prefer a Trump president.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Let me answer it with a question. Has China, by
- 15:13Speaker 5: our adversaries and our allies, been perceived as being a
- 15:18Speaker 5: more stable trading partner than the United States under Donald
- 15:22Speaker 5: Trump too, yes.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Or no, you didn't answer my question, though, well I.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Did answer it because China is doing way better with
- 15:28Speaker 5: Trump as president, way better as and if they want
- 15:32Speaker 5: to take Taiwan, Trump has given them ample license.
- 15:36Speaker 6: To do that.
- 15:36Speaker 5: But trust me, the minute that they have the military
- 15:39Speaker 5: capability of doing that, they want to do that. But
- 15:41Speaker 5: the Chinese are doing way better in the global economy.
- 15:45Speaker 6: They are.
- 15:48Speaker 4: All right.
- 15:48Speaker 2: So I'm kind of on the fence with this because
- 15:52Speaker 2: I think that China has well, their economies have been challenged.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I think if you look at the amount of unemployment
- 15:58Speaker 2: that's going on in China. But he is right, Scaramucci
- 16:01Speaker 2: is right, is that it has opened up markets for them. Granted,
- 16:06Speaker 2: the United States is still their number one market, but
- 16:08Speaker 2: it has opened up other markets.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So if they were to.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Regain the United States, and it might just be a
- 16:14Speaker 2: waiting game, waiting until Trump's out of office, regain the
- 16:17Speaker 2: United States, keep all of that additional market growth that
- 16:20Speaker 2: they got. That is what's happening right now. And I
- 16:23Speaker 2: think Scaramuchi's kind of right on this. But at the
- 16:27Speaker 2: same time, this could also go sour on China very quickly.
- 16:30Speaker 2: All of that is dependent on how Trump deals with
- 16:33Speaker 2: what's going on in Iram. The fact that he has
- 16:36Speaker 2: so many of these special meetings occurring though, is very
- 16:39Speaker 2: very key.
- 16:41Speaker 1: One problem.
- 16:42Speaker 2: If you look at Takeiichi right here, this is the
- 16:45Speaker 2: Japanese Prime minister. She has been showing right here there
- 16:48Speaker 2: she's not feeling well. And this is a concern because
- 16:51Speaker 2: Trump's summit with Japan was set up to start and
- 16:56Speaker 2: if she could.
- 16:58Speaker 1: We end up getting delayed on that.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Not only that, you've got the issue of Trump possibly
- 17:03Speaker 2: getting delayed here on a summit with Ji.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Take a look at this clip.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Yes, there's been a lot of speculation when the Iran
- 17:11Speaker 4: warfares broke out whether that summit will be derailed. And
- 17:14Speaker 4: this is the first time we're hearing from President Trump
- 17:16Speaker 4: that he might delay the summit. And the precondition here
- 17:18Speaker 4: is that China contributes to keeping the Strait of Hormus
- 17:22Speaker 4: open and send warships to that area. But if you
- 17:25Speaker 4: just read the state linked to media reports so far,
- 17:28Speaker 4: China views the root cause of the conflict as the
- 17:31Speaker 4: US and Israel attacks on Iran, and they view this
- 17:35Speaker 4: move by President Trump essentially as dragging other countries in
- 17:38Speaker 4: a war that it started, and so far China stands
- 17:42Speaker 4: on Iran has been no more than rhetorical support, right,
- 17:45Speaker 4: And it's very unlikely. At least in the past, China
- 17:47Speaker 4: has been quite unwilling to put woods on the ground
- 17:51Speaker 4: and put military backing in a conflict that is far
- 17:54Speaker 4: away from home. So it's not clear how willing they
- 17:57Speaker 4: are to really accede to President Trump's requests. But weeks
- 18:00Speaker 4: is a long time, and maybe there could be some
- 18:02Speaker 4: sort of saving gesture in a lead up to the summit,
- 18:05Speaker 4: and potentially it could still happen. It's really hot to
- 18:06Speaker 4: stay at this point.
- 18:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I don't know if it's going to happen, but I
- 18:12Speaker 2: don't think it will. I think China and Russia both
- 18:14Speaker 2: are in a position where they can probably sit and
- 18:16Speaker 2: watch how this turns out. Could they get poor forced
- 18:19Speaker 2: into it? Sure, I mean, just the supply situation could
- 18:22Speaker 2: get dire if you look at some of the.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Reserves that are out there globally, But that.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Would be some time that would have to occur. I
- 18:30Speaker 2: don't think Trump has that much time for him to
- 18:32Speaker 2: be able to rotate this in Bessant even goes on
- 18:35Speaker 2: to talk about this. He talks about the fact that
- 18:37Speaker 2: China's trade deal is not going to be because of
- 18:41Speaker 2: the straight ofh horror moves.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Take a look, and.
- 18:44Speaker 7: There's a false narrative out there that if the meetings
- 18:47Speaker 7: are delayed, it wouldn't be delayed because the Presidence demanded
- 18:51Speaker 7: that China police the strengths of promotes. It would be
- 18:55Speaker 7: because it was a report to that effent this morning.
- 18:57Speaker 7: That's completely false. So if the meeting for some reason
- 19:02Speaker 7: is rescheduled, it would be rescheduled because of logistics. The
- 19:06Speaker 7: President wants to remain the NDC to coordinate the war effort.
- 19:10Speaker 2: One other factor when you listen to what Best said
- 19:13Speaker 2: is Trump's got to do some things.
- 19:15Speaker 1: You know, he's dealing with the war. And I get it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: That's that's a fair, you know assessment. But the fact
- 19:21Speaker 2: that you are meeting was Gigi Pink. This would be
- 19:24Speaker 2: like a putin meeting. These don't come very often, so
- 19:27Speaker 2: Trump has an opportunity. Here's the polymarket on this. All
- 19:31Speaker 2: of a sudden, this was March fifteenth, yesterday, it's at
- 19:35Speaker 2: ninety percent ninety percent. The only thing major that occurred
- 19:40Speaker 2: was maybe the Car idea where they're going to go
- 19:44Speaker 2: in and put troops in the car to try to
- 19:46Speaker 2: control production. Maybe, or maybe it was the NATO thing
- 19:50Speaker 2: where Trump was asking NATO come in and nobody's you know,
- 19:53Speaker 2: ringing the bell. But it dropped from in on polymarket
- 19:57Speaker 2: from ninety percent to sixty three percent in twelve hours.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Another thing that this leads into is tariffs, because this,
- 20:05Speaker 2: of course is a huge factor in global trade, China
- 20:08Speaker 2: being one of the biggest players out there. This is
- 20:10Speaker 2: why it has to happen. This is a must go
- 20:13Speaker 2: to meeting. I don't get why we're down at sixty
- 20:15Speaker 2: three percent. Chance right now, something else is brewing here,
- 20:19Speaker 2: and it could be all of what's happening there, well,
- 20:21Speaker 2: most likely all of what's happening in Iran and China
- 20:24Speaker 2: wants to step back a bit. Other things that are
- 20:26Speaker 2: happening this week that could continue to put some pressure
- 20:29Speaker 2: on the market. You got the US market opens after
- 20:32Speaker 2: the Iran's car gu Island strike, which is maybe the
- 20:35Speaker 2: one that caused this. And then you've got the ADP
- 20:38Speaker 2: employment change that I'm concerned with because I think employment's
- 20:42Speaker 2: going to continue to be down. PPI Core PPI comes out,
- 20:45Speaker 2: and then also on the eighteenth we'll get a FORMC meeting,
- 20:48Speaker 2: so we'll probably do that one live for you guys.
- 20:50Speaker 2: We always like to cover chare pal and this is
- 20:53Speaker 2: going to be a big one because it will give
- 20:55Speaker 2: us the indicator. Remember this is March. I think this
- 20:57Speaker 2: might be his last one before he gets ousted. But
- 21:01Speaker 2: he's going to give us an indicator on what he
- 21:04Speaker 2: feels inflation is doing after he's taking it in the
- 21:07Speaker 2: chops when it comes to jobs. So we're gonna be
- 21:10Speaker 2: watching that one very very closely. It'll be a factor
- 21:13Speaker 2: for sure. Another thing, of course Powell related, is that
- 21:17Speaker 2: the judge has now blocked the subpoena against the Fed
- 21:20Speaker 2: Chair and the Doga is of course set to appeal this.
- 21:25Speaker 2: This was bad news for the DOJ, good news for
- 21:28Speaker 2: Chair of Pale. Maybe you'll feel good and say, hey,
- 21:30Speaker 2: maybe I'm gonna do some red cuts here. But I
- 21:32Speaker 2: got a clip for you to kind of sum it up.
- 21:34Speaker 8: Take a look, Jerome Powell today is now bathed in immunity.
- 21:40Speaker 8: This judge is shockingly requiring the government to show something
- 21:46Speaker 8: a chin to probable cause, and those are his words.
- 21:51Speaker 8: It doesn't matter where a case comes from. I can
- 21:54Speaker 8: have a suspicion, I can read the newspaper. I can
- 21:58Speaker 8: just want to make sure he didn't commit a crime,
- 22:01Speaker 8: so don't make the judges wrong on his dates. And
- 22:04Speaker 8: I can do so when I can merely on the
- 22:08Speaker 8: suspicion that the law is being violated. So what is
- 22:13Speaker 8: the law? What is the law? He is wrong? That's
- 22:18Speaker 8: why we're not only appealing, we're making a motion to reconsider.
- 22:22Speaker 8: Next question, insurance that the investigation into power?
- 22:25Speaker 7: Has this has ended it?
- 22:27Speaker 6: Are you willing to conceive?
- 22:28Speaker 8: Did you hear what I just said? Oh?
- 22:31Speaker 3: Cut it out?
- 22:32Speaker 8: Do you know how many convictions we've got cut it out?
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:35Speaker 8: Historic? Really, I'll deal with the devil if you can
- 22:39Speaker 8: give me information that will lead me to possibly find
- 22:44Speaker 8: a crime. Thank you well.
- 22:48Speaker 4: US Attorney Janine Pirot very spitting angry.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I would call that a meltdown a little bit there.
- 22:56Speaker 2: But where does the crime come from? Interesting? Trying to
- 23:00Speaker 2: fit a person to the crime or a crime to
- 23:02Speaker 2: the person. Not sure, but what I can say, not
- 23:05Speaker 2: a good look for the DOJ. Hopefully things are gonna
- 23:08Speaker 2: get better, guys, but this week will be interesting.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Stay tuned.
