- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, here he is. It's Jonathan Deezeing JD. He's
- 0:09Speaker 1: the host of the Three Bit Gamer Show and one.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Of the hosts. Yes there, it's such a big job.
- 0:16Speaker 2: It takes three of them. Yeah, it's tough work.
- 0:20Speaker 1: And The three Big Gamer Show is a podcast that
- 0:22Speaker 1: comes out once a week every Tuesday on Tuesday, and
- 0:26Speaker 1: so you can check it out. What have you got
- 0:28Speaker 1: for us today, mister d Z.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I have, well, not a lot of games because I
- 0:32Speaker 3: think everyone's just kind of holding off. The big new
- 0:34Speaker 3: Assassin's Creed game is coming out later in the month.
- 0:37Speaker 3: I'll talk about the next time I'm on Okay, but
- 0:40Speaker 3: all the game developers are kind of scared of releasing
- 0:42Speaker 3: around that, you know, the new big hit.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So we don't have a ton of releases. But one
- 0:46Speaker 2: thing I.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Wanted to pitch here for everyone, anyone that has a PC,
- 0:52Speaker 3: even if it's not really a super like a gaming PC,
- 0:56Speaker 3: you might be able to run some of these games.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Check out if you don't have steams. Steam is like
- 1:01Speaker 3: a PC storefront for PC games. It's kind of the
- 1:04Speaker 3: end all be all because they've got everything. Like if
- 1:07Speaker 3: you're not on Steam, like your game doesn't exist.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And one stop shopping.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, and they have tons of sales and it's
- 1:13Speaker 3: really awesome. So if you are interested in games at
- 1:15Speaker 3: all and you have a computer, I check it out.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Because one of the things that Steam does three times
- 1:19Speaker 3: a year, try annually. I don't know why they do
- 1:22Speaker 3: it like that is called Steam Next Fest, where they
- 1:25Speaker 3: have hundreds sometimes thousands of demos available of all these
- 1:29Speaker 3: upcoming games, majority indie games, which is I mean, it's
- 1:33Speaker 3: a fantastic opportunity. You played a million games for free
- 1:35Speaker 3: and then you can just and then usually you play
- 1:38Speaker 3: through the demo, it's like an hour or two and
- 1:39Speaker 3: then it's like do you want to add this to
- 1:40Speaker 3: your wish list? And it's a really cool opportunity to
- 1:43Speaker 3: be able to see what's coming out and a lot
- 1:46Speaker 3: of hot new games, a lot of indie games, games
- 1:48Speaker 3: you would never see otherwise. And Steam is a really
- 1:51Speaker 3: good does a really good job of seeing the games
- 1:53Speaker 3: you like and recommending games that you might. Oh there's
- 1:55Speaker 3: an algorithm, yeah, and that's on you can use it
- 1:59Speaker 3: on MAP or PC.
- 2:00Speaker 2: But I would check that out. Check out next Fest.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It's oh it is actually just ended yesterday, but there
- 2:05Speaker 3: will be one in another couple of months. It's just
- 2:07Speaker 3: a really awesome thing. If you're looking for quirky new games, uh,
- 2:11Speaker 3: tiny games, indie games, that's the that's kind of the spot,
- 2:14Speaker 3: so check it out. Uh.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And then I just have a bunch of fun internet stuff.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Okay, first one here is this is the website that
- 2:21Speaker 3: lists rejected vanity license plates different DMVs across the country.
- 2:27Speaker 3: You it shows you the plate name, what, the customer why,
- 2:32Speaker 3: the customer what what, what their description of the plate was,
- 2:35Speaker 3: whether they thought it was appropriate or not, and then
- 2:39Speaker 3: why the DMV flagged it, and then finally whether or
- 2:42Speaker 3: not it got through.
- 2:43Speaker 1: The first one that popped up that I see is
- 2:46Speaker 1: the plate said crawl pig c R W l KYI GKA.
- 2:51Speaker 1: The customer said what is? Customer set means not available?
- 2:54Speaker 1: The customer didn't say anything the dm reviewers. DMV reviewer
- 2:57Speaker 1: said pig police equals police.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so caral police. If that's your association, I feel
- 3:04Speaker 2: like that's on you.
- 3:07Speaker 3: A lot of these get flagged for crazy reasons, but
- 3:09Speaker 3: there's definitely some quirky ones. If you just hit refresh,
- 3:12Speaker 3: it brings up a new one, and that's kind of
- 3:14Speaker 3: how you browse through them.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Then there's there's this one King fourteen one four King
- 3:20Speaker 4: one four. Okay, customer says, King is the name of
- 3:23Speaker 4: my soccer team, and number fourteen is the jersey I use.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Reasonable the div said that the number fourteen equals Hitler,
- 3:33Speaker 4: so it was not approved the fourteen words.
- 3:36Speaker 1: That is true.
- 3:36Speaker 2: That is true. They're trying to be sneaky. Yeah, okay,
- 3:39Speaker 2: so they rejected that one. Nice.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yeah, they're on top of it. So yeah, this is
- 3:44Speaker 3: just kind of a fun thing to see. Another thing
- 3:47Speaker 3: that I found that I was just delighted about because
- 3:49Speaker 3: it really spoke to my childhood was kid Picks. There's
- 3:53Speaker 3: a bunch of millennials out there right now that are like,
- 3:55Speaker 3: oh my.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Gosh, kid Picks. This was it was like paint before.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, remember this it was.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I had it on my old Macintosh and it was
- 4:04Speaker 3: essentially just like a drawing software.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Where you can use your mercer yeah color thing right,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and you can just draw. I showed this to my sister.
- 4:15Speaker 3: She said her nephew ran their printer dry printing off
- 4:18Speaker 3: all of his masterpieces. Uh so this one I spent
- 4:22Speaker 3: probably way more than I'd like to admit on well
- 4:26Speaker 3: as a child, But obviously, uh, when I found it more.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Recently, it's kind of satisfying.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of silly drawing a Yeah, it's just
- 4:35Speaker 3: cool to see the tools that they had way back
- 4:37Speaker 3: way back then and like, you know what we there
- 4:39Speaker 3: you go, you did draw?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't need photoshop. We got kid Picks.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Knows how to draw. He'll deny it, but he really does.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Know how to draw. Was that are you doing that?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Like with a touch screen with my finger? Kid Picks? Wow,
- 4:55Speaker 2: now I'm gonna have the back up. I've also got here.
- 5:00Speaker 3: This was kind of cool because I love movies, and
- 5:02Speaker 3: I also love I struggle to find them. I don't
- 5:06Speaker 3: trust streaming algorithms that are just like, look at this movie,
- 5:09Speaker 3: look at this movie. In fact, what I've been doing
- 5:12Speaker 3: a lot lately is I rent movies from the library
- 5:15Speaker 3: and then I make sure to watch all the trailers
- 5:17Speaker 3: that are attached to that DVD, and that's how I
- 5:19Speaker 3: find new movies. Oh, it just kind of obscure trailers. Well,
- 5:22Speaker 3: this is a very cool take on that. It's called
- 5:25Speaker 3: next flick, next flicks, nextflick dot TV. Try to say
- 5:30Speaker 3: that without saying Netflix next Flick, which is just an
- 5:34Speaker 3: endless stream of trailers.
- 5:35Speaker 4: And probably movies you haven't heard of.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Oh well, I went through it, I just because you
- 5:39Speaker 3: had just hit refreshed to pull up a new one.
- 5:41Speaker 3: And I would say I probably had heard of ten
- 5:43Speaker 3: percent of the movies that are listed here. And it's
- 5:46Speaker 3: kind of nice because you know, most of the trailers
- 5:48Speaker 3: are under a minute and a half. And instead of
- 5:51Speaker 3: just like spending thirty minutes on Netflix browsing through movies
- 5:54Speaker 3: you're never gonna watch before you just end up watching
- 5:55Speaker 3: Tiger King again, you can you just hop on here
- 5:59Speaker 3: and just throw it up.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And I want to know what this one is because
- 6:01Speaker 1: I refreshed and it said this video is private.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Oh it must have been a very serious trailer. Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 3: so this is just kind of a fun thing if
- 6:10Speaker 3: you love movies next to flick not TV. And then
- 6:14Speaker 3: the last thing, this is a serious time waster.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Okay, I've been playing this and now I'm hooked.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because at first I was like, this is dumb,
- 6:22Speaker 2: and then.
- 6:23Speaker 4: If you're into Tetris, you would probably love this.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I saw it described as slow motion Tetris, where you're
- 6:28Speaker 3: forced to stare at your mistakes and regret them. It's
- 6:32Speaker 3: called three hundred and sixty eight chickens.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Which I think a lot of chickens.
- 6:36Speaker 3: It's the exact number of chickens it takes to realize
- 6:38Speaker 3: you wasted a way too much time on this game.
- 6:41Speaker 3: It is like Carrie said, it's like it's Tetris, but
- 6:44Speaker 3: imagine you've just got the board and you get to
- 6:45Speaker 3: put your pieces wherever. It's kind or like a doctor Mario,
- 6:50Speaker 3: kind of that similar vibe. Yeah, and you're just matching
- 6:54Speaker 3: chickens and you're trying to get from three hundred and
- 6:56Speaker 3: sixty eight chickens down to zero. If I'm not mistaken,
- 6:59Speaker 3: I do believe it tracks you with cookies, so you
- 7:02Speaker 3: can just close it and come back and you'll keep
- 7:04Speaker 3: your chicken.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I start all over.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I don't know what I did, but it says, congratulations,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you rescued the three hundred and sixty eight chickens in
- 7:14Speaker 1: zero attempts. Chickens are very grateful. Now you have rescued
- 7:18Speaker 1: all the chickens. You can no longer play the games.
- 7:20Speaker 2: How did you do that?
- 7:21Speaker 3: I don't do because somebody on your somebody on your
- 7:25Speaker 3: at your house probably already played this.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Oh okay, it.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Could be yeah, so they already found and saved all
- 7:33Speaker 3: and sixty. Yeah, so you're all take care.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Of it's it's it's harder than you'd think.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it was easy for me. Bill had no problem
- 7:44Speaker 2: with it. All right, that's it.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, how's the How's how how the cupcakes?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Cupcakes? Cookies?
- 7:56Speaker 1: How's the cookies coming?
- 7:57Speaker 2: They're amazing.
- 7:58Speaker 3: We actually have a king cake cookie this week today,
- 8:02Speaker 3: Baby Tuesday.
- 8:03Speaker 1: We haven't even mentioned Mary.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we also have Yes, we have a king cake.
- 8:07Speaker 3: We have a French sup piety. We got all sorts
- 8:09Speaker 3: of Marty Gros cookies.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You say there's no baby in the cookie.
- 8:12Speaker 2: No, we couldn't fit them in there. We tried.
- 8:16Speaker 1: This is Are you work at Crave Cookies?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Crave Cookies, Yeah, come down to Crave Cookies, Drapra. I'll
- 8:21Speaker 2: hook you up with a king Cake.
- 8:24Speaker 1: All right. Jonathan Diezing, thank you, JD.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Thanks guys.
- 8:27Speaker 4: All right
