- 0:00Speaker 1: I guess the monsoon hit pretty hard last night.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, insane. I literally posted on my story and
- 0:05Speaker 2: I shared it on John Jay and Rich's Instagram stories
- 0:07Speaker 2: because I walked out of Zips last night and it
- 0:10Speaker 2: literally the rain was horizontal.
- 0:13Speaker 1: That's the coolest there was. So my sons are home
- 0:17Speaker 1: and I guess it just like was blowing bushes and
- 0:20Speaker 1: trees sideways. The power went out for hours. It was chaos,
- 0:23Speaker 1: but there was no flooding, which was very happy. Yeah,
- 0:26Speaker 1: very very happy about.
- 0:28Speaker 2: The rain hit the side of the house, notf the ground.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Yes, but I'm getting a new roof, I mean, And
- 0:33Speaker 1: they were both they're about to start. They were going
- 0:35Speaker 1: to start two weeks ago and they postponed it because
- 0:37Speaker 1: of the monsoon that's coming. But I guess a lot
- 0:39Speaker 1: of the shingles flew off the roof. So I'm like, hey,
- 0:41Speaker 1: well they the monsoon did have to work for the guys,
- 0:44Speaker 1: they're gonna put them the roof off. Yeah. Anyway, what
- 0:46Speaker 1: do you got? Are three things we did know?
- 0:48Speaker 3: Google is now facing a massive lawsuit over how it
- 0:52Speaker 3: trained Gemini, so that's their AI system. There's this group
- 0:56Speaker 3: of major publishers and authors that claims Google used copyrighted
- 0:59Speaker 3: books and articles to train Gemini AI without permission.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The lawsuit is.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Now arguing Google had access to those materials for search
- 1:08Speaker 3: purposes but did not build a commercial AI model, and
- 1:11Speaker 3: it could expose the company to billions of dollars in
- 1:14Speaker 3: damages if it's successful.
- 1:16Speaker 1: So it's just.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Another chapter in the growing fight over who owns this
- 1:20Speaker 3: information that powers AI.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I didn't know that that.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Was a thing like if you read a book and
- 1:26Speaker 3: you gain knowledge, Now it's your knowledge. It's not necessarily
- 1:29Speaker 3: like the knowledge of the book, right, So that's using
- 1:32Speaker 3: to me a little bit, but it is. It's a lawsuit,
- 1:34Speaker 3: and so we'll keep an eye on it and keep
- 1:36Speaker 3: you posting because this could turn into like a huge thing.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Imagine the garbage truck kind of rolling down your street
- 1:42Speaker 3: and secretly checking whether your grass is too long. One
- 1:46Speaker 3: Florida city is considering putting AI powered cameras on garbage
- 1:49Speaker 3: trucks to automatically flag things like overgrown lawns, peeling paint,
- 1:53Speaker 3: illegal dumping for city workers to review. They ended up
- 1:57Speaker 3: scrapping the idea for now because it was too expensive.
- 2:00Speaker 3: But it is kind of raising eyebrows on how cities
- 2:03Speaker 3: might start using AI to spy on you and make
- 2:06Speaker 3: sure you're doing what you're sapsing.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Like that is no, that's giving, big Brother, I'm sorry.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I like that is giving the George Orwell book.
- 2:13Speaker 1: That's where it's all going, you know what. So Blake
- 2:19Speaker 1: and I went to a restaurant last night to go
- 2:20Speaker 1: and I'm trying to eat really healthy. I've got all
- 2:22Speaker 1: these big health tests coming up next week, and so
- 2:24Speaker 1: I want to make sure I meet as clean as possible.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And I was at this restaurant and I was like, man,
- 2:28Speaker 1: I just don't know what they get that's healthy. And
- 2:29Speaker 1: Blake says, take a picture of the menu and ask
- 2:32Speaker 1: chat Cheepet. I'm like, get out of here. So I did,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and chat Chept lays it out. Chattapy goes, hey, the
- 2:39Speaker 1: New York Ship would be good. Make sure ask for
- 2:41Speaker 1: no fries, get bruccolini. And it told me exactly what
- 2:43Speaker 1: to eat off the menu and it was fantastic. It
- 2:45Speaker 1: was sixty grams of protein and I felt great, isn't
- 2:48Speaker 1: that wild?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah? It definitely has its perks. Like there's been some
- 2:50Speaker 2: emails or even like some mail that's come through that
- 2:53Speaker 2: I take a picture and I upload. I'm like, I
- 2:55Speaker 2: have no idea what this means. Can you please break
- 2:57Speaker 2: it down in like normal people terms.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Such a great tool, it's just scary how far it
- 3:02Speaker 3: can get. For sure, someone actually built, you, guys, what
- 3:07Speaker 3: they are calling an apocalypse warning system. So the system
- 3:11Speaker 3: actually tracks more than thirty thousand private jets flown by
- 3:15Speaker 3: billionaires in major companies. And the idea is, if wealthy
- 3:19Speaker 3: insiders suddenly start leaving all at once, Colorado know something
- 3:26Speaker 3: that the rest of us don't. The creator admits it
- 3:29Speaker 3: can't predict disasters, but thousands of people are already watching
- 3:32Speaker 3: it just in case. That's three things you need to know.
