Welcome to nature daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
April 23rd, 2026. And well, everything seemed to
• 0:26
be going the right way. The Thunder got out early and
• 0:31
kept pouring it on. We're up double digits at
• 0:34
halftime and then up by over 20 by the end of the third.
• 0:38
I was figuring, all right, I got a few points here to play with,
• 0:42
so figuring even if they lose a little bit here at the fourth
• 0:46
quarter, I'll be all right and as long as they don't just
• 0:50
completely tank. But somehow that's basically
• 0:53
what happened. All of a sudden, Phoenix
• 0:56
outscored him by 10, cut the lead down to 13 and then ended
• 0:59
up a bucket and a half short on the cover.
• 1:02
So taking the L on that. But man, Yeah, Well, yeah, the
• 1:07
winning side's the right side and I was not on the winning
• 1:09
side. So tonight we're sticking to the
• 1:12
basketball sticking out West on the West Coast.
• 1:16
Well, it's not really the West Coast.
• 1:18
It's hardly even WI. Guess it's Midwest.
• 1:21
It's Minnesota, right? We got Minnesota playing Denver,
• 1:25
got the Nuggets and the Tea Wolves.
• 1:27
And after the last one where T Wolves won and I didn't think
• 1:31
they, I thought they would cover, but I wasn't thinking
• 1:33
that they were going to win. I went in, I refigured and did
• 1:37
some calculations, did a little tweak into and I messed with the
• 1:40
algorithm as well. And I think I got things set
• 1:44
straight and and basically what it is, it's just that
• 1:47
Timberwolves and Rudy Gobert just a matchup nightmare for the
• 1:52
Nuggets and that loaf of bread Yokich.
• 1:54
So I think ultimately Nuggets are going to win this series
• 1:58
without a, you know, eventually. But tonight going back to
• 2:02
Minnesota, you know, Timberwolves got that win from
• 2:05
the last time. The Target Center, I think I
• 2:08
think it's Target Center. I know targets big there.
• 2:10
I think that's where the headquarter, we'll call the
• 2:12
Target Center, it's going to be rocking, you know, coming back
• 2:16
home. They still want in Denver.
• 2:18
So they're going to get that energy and I think they're going
• 2:21
to steal this one too, even though they're point and a half
• 2:23
underdogs. So I'm going to lay those points
• 2:26
and I'm going to not make, I'm not going to make some mistake
• 2:29
twice. I'm going to sprinkle that money
• 2:31
line too. So we're going to go Minnesota
• 2:33
Timberwolves plus 1 1/2 with a little sprinkle on the money
• 2:37
line against the Denver Nuggets in tonight's NBA Western
• 2:41
Conference first round playoff basketball action.
• 2:45
See anything better than that? Found it.
• 2:47
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:49
