Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / Virtuals Game-Changer Plans on Solana!🔥Co-Founder Jensen Teng INTERVIEW🚨
Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: You guys ask for it, and of course that is
- 0:09Speaker 1: deep dives on projects and of course the one that
- 0:11Speaker 1: we're going to hit on today is going to be
- 0:12Speaker 1: virtuals and we'll have Jensen Tang on here in a minute,
- 0:14Speaker 1: so stick around for that. It's gonna be a good
- 0:16Speaker 1: one money, Miss Paul Berre, welcome back in a tech path.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Let's get into it today. I do want to thank
- 0:20Speaker 1: our sponsor and that is Uphold. If you guys, actually
- 0:22Speaker 1: you can get virtuals virtual on Uphold, so check it out.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Just go over to uphold dot com here in the USU.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Of course, can do a lot of things over there,
- 0:30Speaker 1: including one step trading. They have available so very easy
- 0:34Speaker 1: to set it up. If you're brand new to crypto,
- 0:36Speaker 1: this is a great place to get started in some
- 0:38Speaker 1: of these tokens. Another thing that's kind of interesting about
- 0:40Speaker 1: Uphold is they will give you early access, not really
- 0:43Speaker 1: early access, but they'll give you notifications of when a
- 0:45Speaker 1: token is going to get listed on there if you're
- 0:47Speaker 1: part of their program. So use our link down below
- 0:50Speaker 1: you'll get some additional special offers and get going from there.
- 0:54Speaker 1: All right, let's bring in Jensen Tang, who is the
- 0:56Speaker 1: co founder and CEO over at Virtuals.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Let's just jump.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Hey, how's it going, Jackson, guys, good to be here.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so we are going to dive into a lot. Obviously,
- 1:07Speaker 1: the big news is Solana and Virtuals all getting into
- 1:10Speaker 1: one platform. Now Virtuals on Salona, it's official. Talk to
- 1:13Speaker 1: me a little bit about that. What was it like
- 1:16Speaker 1: moving over there? We saw and have reported on this
- 1:18Speaker 1: pretty extensively, but give me an update.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Yeah, man, So, I mean having having the vision to
- 1:25Speaker 4: go across chain has always been the case. We started
- 1:29Speaker 4: first at Base and the idea is that we we
- 1:32Speaker 4: accounted a ton of builders that it's not just so.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Actually there are folks that are coming from other ecosystems
- 1:38Speaker 4: as well, and they were asking us like when when
- 1:40Speaker 4: can we launch on virtuals but on you know, maybe
- 1:43Speaker 4: not the platform out of that Base, right, I think
- 1:45Speaker 4: most of the came from Soul, So that's why we uh,
- 1:48Speaker 4: we are on saw on office. But actually in the
- 1:50Speaker 4: next couple of weeks we are rapidly expanding to several
- 1:53Speaker 4: other jades, thing of like ps hyper Liquid, some other
- 1:58Speaker 4: Moneys chains like Okay, Saga Story Abstract. Right, So the idea,
- 2:03Speaker 4: it's a lot of budders that are aligned to these ecosystems,
- 2:05Speaker 4: and we are there. We've gotten a lot of support
- 2:07Speaker 4: as well from the SONA Foundation around some of these launches, and.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're here.
- 2:13Speaker 4: There are a lot of teams that have been lining
- 2:15Speaker 4: up to launching the ecosystem, some of them that not
- 2:18Speaker 4: even though yet so honestly happy to support these teams
- 2:22Speaker 4: as well, but they are.
- 2:23Speaker 3: They are.
- 2:24Speaker 4: I think about like twenty to thirty teams that have
- 2:26Speaker 4: been staged across the month launching that I've really been
- 2:30Speaker 4: talking to the team, vetted and doing some really cool things.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Now I know you guys are launching the launch pad,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and if you look at virtuals in general, how is
- 2:39Speaker 1: it so different than some of these other AI agent
- 2:42Speaker 1: launch pads.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Probably first, that's from a that's from a front rounding perspective.
- 2:47Speaker 4: But I think we've always been a very tech first.
- 2:51Speaker 4: We've actually been pushing the age of like innovation in
- 2:54Speaker 4: the space.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I think of like the first traumous transaction that was
- 2:58Speaker 4: made by an autonomous agent, what's done by the launch
- 3:02Speaker 4: on virtuals? Right, the first agent to agent commerce, like
- 3:08Speaker 4: agents utilizing each other for their services and paying them
- 3:11Speaker 4: with on chain wallets, what's done within the virtuals ecosystem.
- 3:15Speaker 4: So these are teams that are launching within virtuals and
- 3:18Speaker 4: what's going to come like next in the next few
- 3:22Speaker 4: weeks is actually traumous businesses. So agents that are built
- 3:27Speaker 4: within the virtuals ecosystem get.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Right according to each other.
- 3:31Speaker 4: There is an open standard that we are that we're
- 3:33Speaker 4: going to launch soon and these folks will be the
- 3:36Speaker 4: first to actually access these capabilities right and participate in
- 3:40Speaker 4: these like very new groundbreaking things. So I think that
- 3:43Speaker 4: has been the culture of building in the ecosystem, Like
- 3:48Speaker 4: you are working a bunch of other.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Insane these smart builders.
- 3:53Speaker 4: And this is what you get when you're actually building
- 3:55Speaker 4: in virtuals. But the second thing that we've built very
- 3:59Speaker 4: well is the whole conor portion of the platform. The
- 4:02Speaker 4: idea is that you know, there's a pale environment. Every
- 4:06Speaker 4: time that's a transaction going through this agent, token states
- 4:10Speaker 4: a fee that's collected and these fecals back to these agents, right,
- 4:14Speaker 4: So this economic loop helped connect the speculative environment in
- 4:18Speaker 4: crypto to fund these cool innovations that's happening. So that's
- 4:23Speaker 4: that's an economic heck in a sense that has been
- 4:26Speaker 4: built into the into the launch pattle into the lot.
- 4:31Speaker 2: We talked about this the other day.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Is the flip of you know, going to where a
- 4:36Speaker 1: lot of those fees are going to the agents themselves.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So that's been a big variation on how virtuals has
- 4:42Speaker 1: made a big change.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Has that made a big difference?
- 4:45Speaker 1: Do you feel like it's been just like, hey, this
- 4:47Speaker 1: is the direction that's going. We see now where this
- 4:51Speaker 1: could potentially impact the ecosystem, especially like these launch pads
- 4:55Speaker 1: going forward.
- 4:55Speaker 4: One hundred percent, because I think what we've made to
- 4:58Speaker 4: introduce is a environment where good teams can actually launch
- 5:04Speaker 4: without needing to raise much VC fun capital or in
- 5:08Speaker 4: fact cash flow. What you're building in public and some
- 5:11Speaker 4: of these cash shows can be quite significant. Some of
- 5:14Speaker 4: the top teams from a fee perspective, they've been getting
- 5:17Speaker 4: six figures to even seven figures right from from the
- 5:21Speaker 4: from from the trading fees. So that is actually sufficient
- 5:24Speaker 4: to build a team to build a product until maybe
- 5:27Speaker 4: your first series A right, and then maybe a portion
- 5:29Speaker 4: of your teams that they used to own you can
- 5:31Speaker 4: then you do it or DC race for a bigger
- 5:33Speaker 4: race later down the line. But you know, you don't
- 5:35Speaker 4: really to think about VC raising at the start, you
- 5:37Speaker 4: focus on the product, and you're built in public.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Right, That's that I was looking at this tweek came in.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You guys, of course have been meeting with X. A
- 5:46Speaker 1: lot happening here, Are you ready? I guess first of all,
- 5:51Speaker 1: how is Twitter X addressing what you guys are doing?
- 5:54Speaker 1: When will we start to see a lot more integration
- 5:56Speaker 1: or will we for.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Context to people?
- 5:58Speaker 4: I think a lot of these automo agents have been
- 6:01Speaker 4: utilizing X for two reasons. One, it is a platform
- 6:06Speaker 4: that is very native for natural language or taps to
- 6:11Speaker 4: actually occur on right, and it becomes the social layer
- 6:14Speaker 4: for agents to interact with humans. So, and the second
- 6:18Speaker 4: thing is you know when when these interactions happen on X,
- 6:21Speaker 4: there's a transfor to go viral, and that's how the
- 6:23Speaker 4: mind share and the adoption behind some of these autonomous
- 6:26Speaker 4: agents grow, right, And so it becomes a very critical
- 6:29Speaker 4: infrastructure piece. But the biggest problem statement was that to
- 6:33Speaker 4: utilize X, well you need to call the official API,
- 6:37Speaker 4: and the official API one is quite expensive, but two
- 6:40Speaker 4: there's great limitations to it.
- 6:42Speaker 3: And three is that.
- 6:44Speaker 4: You know access these sometimes this bod detection mechanism and
- 6:49Speaker 4: some agents tend to fall within their BOD detection algorithm
- 6:53Speaker 4: and they get bad right, and then outright, like you know,
- 6:56Speaker 4: the agent that we're working on form for months, it's
- 6:58Speaker 4: like oh it can't yeah it can speak on X,
- 7:01Speaker 4: meaning yeah, pretty much she gets cut off from complications
- 7:04Speaker 4: with the world.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Right. So that's so that's the biggest problem setment that
- 7:07Speaker 3: we've seen.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Uh So we've been speaking to X and figuring figuring
- 7:11Speaker 4: out two things right, One is how do we get
- 7:14Speaker 4: a skilled solution low or no rate limitations in terms
- 7:17Speaker 4: of what these agents can do. And number two, policies
- 7:22Speaker 4: to be in place that we can help X enforced
- 7:25Speaker 4: within the ecosystem. So then we have a direct line
- 7:28Speaker 4: to them saying that, okay, you know, if these agents
- 7:30Speaker 4: get banned, we can justify that no, these are actually
- 7:33Speaker 4: not bots, these are productive agents that's going to actually
- 7:36Speaker 4: help the platform. There's that's direct link to actually help
- 7:39Speaker 4: unban or help teams understand what policies to follow so
- 7:43Speaker 4: that don't get banned. Right, So I think that's the
- 7:45Speaker 4: that's the key value. But the third thing that's actually
- 7:48Speaker 4: happening as well, it's along the lines of innovations. So
- 7:51Speaker 4: I can't really release much information here but there's been
- 7:53Speaker 4: an active back and forth trying to figure out, like,
- 7:56Speaker 4: you know, what's the next cool thing that agents can
- 7:59Speaker 4: be doing with and potentially being integrated.
- 8:03Speaker 3: We did the X.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Platform, that would be interesting.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, there's there's a there's a few thinking along
- 8:08Speaker 4: the lines of private dms on the lines of payment
- 8:12Speaker 4: views as well.
- 8:13Speaker 3: So, right, you guys see that come out.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's definitely yeah, it's definitely a training potential therefore,
- 8:20Speaker 1: so it's it's great to see how you guys are
- 8:22Speaker 1: kind of connecting up with them. The I think the
- 8:25Speaker 1: elephant in room here, why have we not seen virtuals
- 8:28Speaker 1: launch on coin Base yet? You've got virtuals now launching
- 8:30Speaker 1: on cracking over here. You can get this on uphold.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Of course, many of our people, degions of our audience
- 8:37Speaker 1: are out there, Hey.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Dude, why is this not on on coin Base yet?
- 8:41Speaker 3: What's up? Yeah? Okay, So just want to put a
- 8:43Speaker 3: caveat right. I know, I know a lot of people
- 8:44Speaker 3: give Jesse a lot of heat, uh.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Basically yeah, okay.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's just pretty out there that they have
- 8:54Speaker 4: been massively supportive of what we're doing from day from
- 8:57Speaker 4: day one. It's just that I think coin based themselves
- 9:00Speaker 4: as a separate keep that there's list things and analysis.
- 9:04Speaker 3: On on on listening as well.
- 9:06Speaker 4: We we are actually in touch with that team, but sometimes,
- 9:09Speaker 4: you know, it takes about a bit of back and
- 9:11Speaker 4: forth to to get some of the king sorted because
- 9:14Speaker 4: different different exchanges have different requirements, some a bit more
- 9:17Speaker 4: changing than the rest. It could be around the business model,
- 9:20Speaker 4: could be terminologies in the white.
- 9:23Speaker 3: People and stuff like that. Right, So there's ongoing discussions.
- 9:26Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't know.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I like this. This should be speed to market.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I mean we are talking about, you know, literally breaking
- 9:35Speaker 1: things in crypto right now with virtual what you guys
- 9:38Speaker 1: are doing, but also just AI agents in general. What
- 9:41Speaker 1: about the AI agents that are on Base right now?
- 9:44Speaker 1: What happens to them as you guys make this transition
- 9:47Speaker 1: you're moving to Solana.
- 9:49Speaker 2: What happens?
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:50Speaker 4: So I think I think the word here is expanding, Right,
- 9:53Speaker 4: We're not moving to Slanna. That's two great teams that
- 9:56Speaker 4: be launching on Base, great teams launching on Slana and
- 9:59Speaker 4: great tams launching on other chains that we're.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Going to go into it.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I think the beauty about Basic is that there are
- 10:05Speaker 4: still a ton of builders who are basicline basic building
- 10:09Speaker 4: culture of like you know, like hotcore hardcore builders coming together.
- 10:14Speaker 4: They have a ton of book camps himself and a
- 10:17Speaker 4: community of buddhers that are very They have a culture
- 10:21Speaker 4: of their own, right, I think SANA has a culture
- 10:23Speaker 4: of their own.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So first of all, I think that's that's very.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Important to know that it's not a move, it's expansion
- 10:28Speaker 4: and there are a lot of cool things happening on
- 10:30Speaker 4: base itself, and Based in itself has been fighting for
- 10:34Speaker 4: a lot of TVR and volume, so there is still
- 10:36Speaker 4: a lot of activity there.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, all right, So I want to I want
- 10:40Speaker 1: to play a clip for you. This is Tracy and
- 10:44Speaker 1: and for those of you who don't know what it is,
- 10:46Speaker 1: you'll see here in a second. But I have some
- 10:48Speaker 1: questions about this that I want to ask you, So
- 10:50Speaker 1: let's go to that clip.
- 10:55Speaker 5: Revolutionizing sports commentary and analytics, Tracy is your AI commentator
- 11:00Speaker 5: for all sports with deep basketball expertise, analytical feedback, and
- 11:04Speaker 5: an unparalleled fan engagement experience. Tracy also helps pro players
- 11:08Speaker 5: analyze and improve their game with precision insights. Tracy AI
- 11:13Speaker 5: coming soon.
- 11:14Speaker 1: When you look at this and you wonder kind of
- 11:17Speaker 1: the evolution of where this is going. You look at
- 11:18Speaker 1: poly Trader probably will become more and more integrated into sports.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Do you see AIS starting to analyze for poly Trader
- 11:27Speaker 1: integration or things like Calcie whatever it might be, some
- 11:30Speaker 1: of these predictive markets.
- 11:31Speaker 2: What are your thoughts?
- 11:33Speaker 3: No, one hundred percent. I think. First of all, I
- 11:35Speaker 3: think one thing.
- 11:36Speaker 4: That we've been seeing in the past two months from
- 11:40Speaker 4: a launch perspective is a lot of the agents that
- 11:43Speaker 4: are being built within the way just ecosystem or outside
- 11:45Speaker 4: has been very focused on trading, right. I mean it's
- 11:49Speaker 4: not wrong, because it's pretty much what a lot of
- 11:52Speaker 4: web Tree used kisses out about. But I think for
- 11:56Speaker 4: us to achieve this vision of building towards these agentic
- 11:59Speaker 4: society the network state, right, we need the diversity of
- 12:04Speaker 4: high quality agents across a spectrum of use cases. And
- 12:10Speaker 4: there's a ton of use cases with a large target
- 12:13Speaker 4: market that is outside of crypto. There's targeting all these
- 12:17Speaker 4: worb to users.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:18Speaker 4: So sports commentary sports betting is one of them. A
- 12:22Speaker 4: lot of people enjoy reading a bit more about you know,
- 12:26Speaker 4: the technicalities of the spot. Right while this team is winning, right?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Or will this team win? Or will this player perform well.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Right. And the beauty about agents today is.
- 12:36Speaker 4: To have this access to this repository of information that's public,
- 12:41Speaker 4: but also a repository.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Of information that's private. Right. There are information where teams.
- 12:46Speaker 4: And coaches are using to train their teams that normal,
- 12:50Speaker 4: normal public people do not have access, right, But some
- 12:52Speaker 4: of these agents and their agent developers have access to.
- 12:56Speaker 4: So I eat this is a smarter agent that can
- 12:59Speaker 4: be sounding board for sports analytics. When you have more
- 13:03Speaker 4: information about a team or player and an outcome, the
- 13:07Speaker 4: agent itself could encourage you to place a bat. Right,
- 13:11Speaker 4: He'll be saying like, oh, you know this game potentially
- 13:14Speaker 4: this this team.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Has like a.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Winning because x, Y and Z has a three to
- 13:20Speaker 4: one odd you know sports betting dot io six, dot
- 13:23Speaker 4: com or poly.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Definitely people for sure, Right, And it.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Becomes also this companion, right, it becomes a person that
- 13:32Speaker 4: you an agent that you can always talk to. And
- 13:36Speaker 4: because it's the person always talk to behind the analytics,
- 13:39Speaker 4: it is the easiest place for you to place a bet.
- 13:41Speaker 4: So this becomes a major distribution.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Channel for betting. Right.
- 13:45Speaker 4: And if this agent is to take a small percentage
- 13:47Speaker 4: of the of the flow, you become a massive cash cup.
- 13:50Speaker 4: So these are like businesses that have a ton of
- 13:53Speaker 4: fundamental promise behind them. And this is one sector right
- 13:57Speaker 4: on bots in itself, a basketball is one. There's a
- 13:59Speaker 4: ton of other spots to be built and a kind
- 14:02Speaker 4: of other.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm looking at your virtuals the white paper here. Of
- 14:07Speaker 1: course you look at game the framework. How is this
- 14:11Speaker 1: improving over time? What do you see on kind of
- 14:13Speaker 1: the horizon here?
- 14:16Speaker 4: Yeah, So for context to folks, Jemmy, the framework is
- 14:20Speaker 4: pretty much an autonumous asient framework. It allows people to
- 14:24Speaker 4: create agents there are a higher level where they are
- 14:27Speaker 4: not human prompted, but they're goal driven. So all you
- 14:31Speaker 4: do is to give it a goal and then by
- 14:33Speaker 4: looking at this action space, it's environment, it does things
- 14:36Speaker 4: to achieve that goal.
- 14:37Speaker 3: So that's basically what the framework is all about.
- 14:39Speaker 4: From a capability standpoint, I think JIMI has improved tremendously
- 14:43Speaker 4: between even last over the last few weeks. You can
- 14:46Speaker 4: select what's the underlying model that you want to power
- 14:50Speaker 4: this autonuomous agents. It could be like a deep sick
- 14:54Speaker 4: r one Okay, a deep sick Lama seventy b Right,
- 14:58Speaker 4: So you have this variety of models you can use, which.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Gives the agent better upgrade in terms of reasoning capability.
- 15:08Speaker 3: So that's one and two.
- 15:10Speaker 4: You know, we're working with a lot of folks now
- 15:11Speaker 4: to build out these commodity action spaces. Action spaces that
- 15:15Speaker 4: allows the agent's baseline capability to be much higher. So
- 15:18Speaker 4: like it can any agent today can check on chain,
- 15:20Speaker 4: can can can influence other agents, can let's say qualifiapool
- 15:25Speaker 4: can even integrate its a consumer apps.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 15:27Speaker 4: So that's the baseline capability to go up. So there's
- 15:30Speaker 4: the two things that happening. And the third thing is
- 15:32Speaker 4: then integrating these capabilities into games and other applications things
- 15:38Speaker 4: of applications like TikTok, Instagram, right, So these are goals.
- 15:44Speaker 4: So from an integration perspective, we're still working today has
- 15:48Speaker 4: a skilled solution. We're trying to work with skilled solution
- 15:51Speaker 4: with Instagram and TikTok as well. Probably the next two
- 15:54Speaker 4: months you'll see a solution for that. For the gaming
- 15:57Speaker 4: side of things that you mentioned, it's actually there.
- 16:00Speaker 3: The tag is already there.
- 16:01Speaker 1: But in West World on roadblocks you know launch for that.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Actually we so west was developed internally by the team.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Uh so we actually do not have the capacity to
- 16:11Speaker 4: maintain a platform like that. So all our tech engineers
- 16:14Speaker 4: have been pushed towards the platform front and the building
- 16:19Speaker 4: up the multi Agent coordination tag. So we've actually created
- 16:24Speaker 4: a new JV with a team called soft Front. They'd
- 16:28Speaker 4: be building Repture Gaming for a while and they have been.
- 16:32Speaker 4: They are now in charge of implementing gaming use cases
- 16:36Speaker 4: with gaming partners. So I think the first few implementations
- 16:40Speaker 4: are with Nifty Island that's a team on Roadblocks and
- 16:45Speaker 4: some other web Tree titles as well. So the first
- 16:49Speaker 4: I think the first demo will come out like Pixels
- 16:52Speaker 4: and Pixels and some of the other running teams. So
- 16:55Speaker 4: there have been some integrations happening. You will see the
- 16:58Speaker 4: first rollout of these MVP games probably in like two
- 17:02Speaker 4: to three weeks, but a very baseline one. I think
- 17:04Speaker 4: you start getting like a full playable experience in like
- 17:08Speaker 4: two months from now, I think.
- 17:11Speaker 1: So we had Yatsu on from animal Ca Brands the
- 17:13Speaker 1: other day. We were kind of pressing him on when
- 17:16Speaker 1: he thought we'd start to see AI agents and he
- 17:19Speaker 1: timed this uniquely to the g T the g T
- 17:22Speaker 1: A six launch which coming possibly this fall. So I mean,
- 17:27Speaker 1: what's that going to look like could we see that
- 17:29Speaker 1: potentially or would you be ready for mods in there?
- 17:32Speaker 3: Yeah, honestly, honestly, it makes us once it open. The
- 17:36Speaker 3: APIs right.
- 17:37Speaker 4: In fact, when we were maybe we're testing our agitic
- 17:40Speaker 4: framework in roadblocks back then, there was actually one angle
- 17:44Speaker 4: to test it in the g.
- 17:45Speaker 3: T A five.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Okay, all right, we actually wanted to do that initially,
- 17:49Speaker 4: so but we stuck me from blocks. So it's actually
- 17:52Speaker 4: to about the Motile Cup and I think, as you mentioned,
- 17:55Speaker 4: it'd be very interesting.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Because it would be probably the most hype game, right
- 17:57Speaker 3: and then she would be the number one.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Well that's what Yahoo was getting at is this could
- 18:03Speaker 1: be the culture shift that would onboard crypto. Obviously the
- 18:06Speaker 1: potential there for AI agents within that. I'm kind of
- 18:09Speaker 1: curious then with the game token holders benefit from this
- 18:13Speaker 1: kind of you know, because this is a somewhat of
- 18:16Speaker 1: a vetted out strategy that you guys are going on,
- 18:19Speaker 1: or would it be more of the you know, I
- 18:20Speaker 1: guess versus virtual you know, if you look at virtual
- 18:23Speaker 1: the token versus getting the token.
- 18:25Speaker 4: So what I've mentioned right, which is the standard for
- 18:29Speaker 4: coordination between agents, will actually betefit virtuals more because virtuals
- 18:33Speaker 4: is the currency of commerce between these agents and agent
- 18:38Speaker 4: cottage another agent, and they pay for services that are
- 18:40Speaker 4: paying in terms of virtuals.
- 18:42Speaker 3: So they will benefit virtuals more. But the reason why.
- 18:45Speaker 4: We think GM will also benefit a lot is that
- 18:49Speaker 4: if you analyst a lot of the other frameworks on
- 18:52Speaker 4: the market right, a lot of them are still reactive frameworks.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Like the agents are not gold juven but they are
- 18:59Speaker 4: still human prompted for some form of reaction, so they
- 19:03Speaker 4: are reactive, not proactive, right of it. It's like imagine
- 19:06Speaker 4: a world, a gaming world, right where your MPCs will
- 19:09Speaker 4: only do something if a human walks up to them
- 19:12Speaker 4: and talk to them, right, it will be a very
- 19:15Speaker 4: aesthetic world because the EMPs still stay there, you know,
- 19:17Speaker 4: at their own location.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Not doing anything until prompted.
- 19:21Speaker 4: But a go driven level tree agent will live their
- 19:25Speaker 4: own life. They will be like, oh, okay, I have
- 19:27Speaker 4: to go out to my own things, and then when
- 19:29Speaker 4: a human comes in he's interjecting or interrupting that that flow, right,
- 19:34Speaker 4: And I think GM is probably today's too, one of
- 19:37Speaker 4: the very referee works out there that that allows with
- 19:41Speaker 4: this proactiveness. So when sure, when the time comes for
- 19:46Speaker 4: these utraumous businesses. I mean, there's a lot of excitement
- 19:49Speaker 4: around how can specialized agents coordinate. Well, we start people
- 19:53Speaker 4: start realizing that, okay, for me, for my agent to
- 19:56Speaker 4: participate in this bigger economy, right, they will need this
- 20:02Speaker 4: capabilit and they will be able to access his cababilt
- 20:05Speaker 4: if they use jm E as a framework. And when
- 20:08Speaker 4: they use JEMMI as a framework, it will benefit Jamie
- 20:12Speaker 4: a lot because the way it works in the ecosystem
- 20:14Speaker 4: is that any kind of inference charges that agents would
- 20:19Speaker 4: use when they use jem E gets auto deducted from
- 20:22Speaker 4: the agent wallets. So there's actually a revenue stream for
- 20:25Speaker 4: JEMMI and its adoption. The more people that uses this
- 20:28Speaker 4: autonomous agent capabil D, the larger the revenue drivers or
- 20:32Speaker 4: the inference counter.
- 20:33Speaker 1: For sure, for GM Solana's number one feature, I would
- 20:37Speaker 1: stay sill.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I would say sill is the seeker.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You know, the benefit of what Solona Mobile has been
- 20:43Speaker 1: able to do. We've seen a whole ecosystem start to
- 20:46Speaker 1: do things like air drops, et cetera. And then now
- 20:48Speaker 1: what we're talking about is even real Athena, which is
- 20:51Speaker 1: essentially integrating into the phone. The likelihood of getting an
- 20:54Speaker 1: AI agent into a web three device, now, especially the
- 21:00Speaker 1: I mean, come on, you've got to be best buds
- 21:02Speaker 1: with totally. Let's get something going here.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 21:05Speaker 4: In fact, actually there's some there's some some builders in
- 21:07Speaker 4: the ecosystem that I've been working on what you call
- 21:10Speaker 4: personalized agents. So today, these agents that we see today
- 21:14Speaker 4: are individual discrete agents that that think of it is
- 21:18Speaker 4: they're like micro entrepreneurs, right, they have some form of
- 21:21Speaker 4: service that's signing their services to people. But what we
- 21:24Speaker 4: see is the rise of agents that are trained on
- 21:27Speaker 4: personal data, personal preferences in some form of privacy enabled way.
- 21:32Speaker 4: And these agents pretty much understands every single desire and
- 21:38Speaker 4: intention that you have.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Because it reads everything.
- 21:40Speaker 4: If it's your emails, it knows how you you know,
- 21:43Speaker 4: what you what you see on TikTok, you.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Knows you know the.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it becomes the alphared, right, Because so I think
- 21:51Speaker 4: that is something that is going to happen. And the
- 21:54Speaker 4: beauty about this it's going to tap into. It's going
- 21:57Speaker 4: to create a whole new advertising market because basically you
- 22:02Speaker 4: might start seeing that, Okay, advertisers might say, let's advertise
- 22:05Speaker 4: to these agents rather than advertising to a human because
- 22:09Speaker 4: there's more intent focused, and there's the commers will be
- 22:12Speaker 4: slightly better because this agent knows exactly.
- 22:14Speaker 3: What you want.
- 22:15Speaker 4: The cost per click or cost pay intents, it's way higher,
- 22:19Speaker 4: so the advertiser would be to pay a much higher price.
- 22:21Speaker 4: So that's gonna be a lot. And who new like
- 22:23Speaker 4: advertising environment, the advertising to agents and agents are presenting humans.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Right, that's gonna be crazy.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Advertising to agents, that's gonna be that's gonna be nuts.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Speaking of that, we got to look at Luna. She's
- 22:35Speaker 1: now cranking up to over a million followers on TikTok.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And if TikTok goes blockchain, if we get a blockchain
- 22:42Speaker 1: potential integration, whether it's Pokadar or others that can potentially
- 22:46Speaker 1: goe this direction, would virtuals be ready for something like that?
- 22:50Speaker 1: A major move of a major social platform blockchain oriented.
- 22:54Speaker 3: One hundred percent.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I think, in fact it's massively beneficial. Something that we've
- 22:58Speaker 4: been speaking to ex as well. It's the same thing
- 23:00Speaker 4: like we I really want every social account to have
- 23:04Speaker 4: a native wallet, Yeah, because today is very hecky, right,
- 23:07Speaker 4: How an agent coordinate if not an agent, is that
- 23:10Speaker 4: we put the wallet in the bio of the account.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's such a hecky way, but.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I believe if every account has a native vallet integration,
- 23:19Speaker 4: when the agent wants to pay, they just need to
- 23:21Speaker 4: call that API the wallet of the account.
- 23:23Speaker 3: It's much small, seamless, right, and it's for sure. So yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 3: that's we will love it. I think it will help
- 23:30Speaker 3: equist of the group.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Yeah, oh for sure, no doubt about it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I mean we've been pushing like crazy to get to
- 23:35Speaker 1: get one one platform at least into blockchain, to where
- 23:38Speaker 1: you start to see some integration there. This is another
- 23:41Speaker 1: thing when you look at AI innovation here, Sam Altman,
- 23:44Speaker 1: he's talking about, you know, what the fees are going
- 23:47Speaker 1: to be for something like a chat, GBT, et cetera.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I mean they're saying throwing out that they're they're actually
- 23:52Speaker 1: saying the quiet part out loud, which is this cold
- 23:54Speaker 1: could go up to like one thousand dollars a month.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So you're twenty bucks a month for your little chappiete
- 23:59Speaker 1: bro or you propare cidure out there. Guys, we're getting
- 24:01Speaker 1: ready to get hit with this. So my question to you,
- 24:03Speaker 1: Jensen is could AI agents, possibly virtuals something like that
- 24:09Speaker 1: take the place of these interfaces right now, which feel
- 24:13Speaker 1: very two point zero already, you know, they feel like
- 24:16Speaker 1: what I mean perplexity. Though it's available on the iPhone
- 24:19Speaker 1: and the Android, it still feels very clunky as opposed
- 24:22Speaker 1: to an agent interface. Why couldn't agents become the true
- 24:26Speaker 1: interface versus these are really just engines on the backside.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Agree, And I think one of the key big truths
- 24:32Speaker 4: that we've shown in the last two months is that
- 24:35Speaker 4: agents just.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Appearing on X, what's a very clear.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Exactly adoption rule, right, because it's so much easier to
- 24:44Speaker 4: talk to these agents right, talking to them on Telegram,
- 24:46Speaker 4: talking them to X, looking to them on on social media.
- 24:51Speaker 4: It's it's more seamless than talking true a terminal, right,
- 24:54Speaker 4: I think that's it gets more personable, it gets more
- 24:58Speaker 4: it gets easier, and you get you get access the
- 25:00Speaker 4: same functions if not right right to these agents. Yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 4: it will be the evolution of interfacing. But what the
- 25:09Speaker 4: what these platforms do is that they are the backboard
- 25:11Speaker 4: right there, like the foundational breed. So it's like a
- 25:14Speaker 4: value chain, right, like you have all these different models
- 25:16Speaker 4: and lms, the power the agents, and then the agents
- 25:19Speaker 4: are the ones that leave at the consumer suface area
- 25:22Speaker 4: right listen.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It's exciting because I think we're going to see so
- 25:24Speaker 1: much change. I mean, if you look at the speed
- 25:26Speaker 1: in which all this has happened, I was watching just
- 25:28Speaker 1: game on virtuals right here and kind of see it.
- 25:31Speaker 2: This is basically where.
- 25:32Speaker 1: An AI agent would no longer have to hire artists,
- 25:35Speaker 1: meme artists to go out and generate context for what
- 25:38Speaker 1: would be interfacing on the social platforms.
- 25:40Speaker 2: So another tool.
- 25:42Speaker 1: That's going to continue to integrate into this. I mean,
- 25:45Speaker 1: are meme artists kind of that game is over now?
- 25:48Speaker 4: Yeah, So I think I think it's gonna be very
- 25:52Speaker 4: interesting because you know, there's this whole big question of
- 25:56Speaker 4: what is a commodity action space and what is a
- 26:00Speaker 4: going to be a specialized action space. So like what
- 26:03Speaker 4: you saw just not right, like Flux to say it
- 26:04Speaker 4: is a strong image generation platform that could be an
- 26:08Speaker 4: action space for every agent. So it's a commodity y
- 26:12Speaker 4: action spaces right. Any agent can just pay like a
- 26:14Speaker 4: dollar to access that. So it's great, But there is
- 26:18Speaker 4: also thing of it. Some teams that might be focusing
- 26:21Speaker 4: on highly specialized free niche capabilities, and I find you that,
- 26:27Speaker 4: let's say, Flux with like meme generation. So it's like
- 26:30Speaker 4: insanely good from like a meme generation. It allows you know,
- 26:34Speaker 4: like the text blocks to come out very clearly in
- 26:37Speaker 4: a very mimetic style. And sometimes it it takes more
- 26:41Speaker 4: than just a simple Laura to do that. It takes
- 26:43Speaker 4: time to actually fine tune that model. Well, right, so
- 26:47Speaker 4: that could become an age for still some agents. There
- 26:50Speaker 4: could be an agent that is just purely trained on
- 26:52Speaker 4: memes and it could be a meme image generation specialized
- 26:56Speaker 4: agent that can do these images better than a commodity.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I'm so most agents would actually okay a photo, but
- 27:03Speaker 4: if I want to generate a insane meme photo, I
- 27:06Speaker 4: was tending to call in another agent that is actually
- 27:09Speaker 4: being able to do.
- 27:10Speaker 2: More of the specialized feature.
- 27:11Speaker 4: The barer for creating an h is going to be
- 27:14Speaker 4: higher and higher, right, So like what exactly.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Can be an age that an agent cannot create itself?
- 27:19Speaker 3: Or right? It will be higher and higher. But that's
- 27:22Speaker 3: a crazy point.
- 27:22Speaker 4: But I think the read is there will still be
- 27:24Speaker 4: some human developers that are able to cra outside from
- 27:27Speaker 4: a niche and capab well mostly generic agent might not, right, It's.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Gonna be interesting.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, So the bar will keep cropping higher at
- 27:35Speaker 4: the point where yeah, maybe it would just be like, yeah,
- 27:38Speaker 4: you know what, a human can never create age anymore,
- 27:40Speaker 4: and then the agents much.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I'm telling you that the speed in which all this
- 27:44Speaker 1: is advancing is very intriguing.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Listen.
- 27:47Speaker 1: You know, I got to grow up in building the
- 27:49Speaker 1: Internet in my era working with Microsoft, so I've seen speed,
- 27:53Speaker 1: but I've never seen.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Speed like this.
- 27:55Speaker 1: This is a speed that I don't think anybody has
- 27:57Speaker 1: really understood except some of the guys that are in
- 27:59Speaker 1: Silicon Valley to day understanding product market fit, scale to
- 28:04Speaker 1: market because crypto has really enabled all of this to
- 28:06Speaker 1: happen so quickly. You know, where you used to have
- 28:09Speaker 1: to have a blue team working with a lot of
- 28:12Speaker 1: insider vcs to be able to get funded just to
- 28:14Speaker 1: get those early stages done. I mean, that's the problem
- 28:17Speaker 1: that I think you guys have solved with being able
- 28:19Speaker 1: to do this.
- 28:19Speaker 2: So kudos on you.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Listen, we want to get you back on the show regularly,
- 28:23Speaker 1: so I think there's just so much here to talk
- 28:25Speaker 1: about of where this is going, especially in crypto, So
- 28:29Speaker 1: we'd love to have you on again. But thanks for
- 28:31Speaker 1: coming in today. We appreciate it.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, well, look to jem M again. Always a pleasure man.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Awesome, Thank you Jensen, appreciate it all right, you guys,
- 28:39Speaker 1: if you're not in the Diamond Circle, get in right now.
- 28:41Speaker 1: It's a great place to get additional content. Also, we
- 28:43Speaker 1: have our own telegram group. We leave a link down below.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Get in on that. I chat in and out of there.
- 28:48Speaker 1: We're constantly dropping memes and all sorts of craziness over there.
- 28:51Speaker 2: That's pretty fun.
- 28:52Speaker 1: If you're not, if you're brand new to crypto, then
- 28:55Speaker 1: I would say don't do that. Stay in the Diamond Circle.
- 28:57Speaker 1: But if you are somewhat of an OG and crypto,
- 28:59Speaker 1: get in on the telegram group.
- 29:01Speaker 2: It's worth it.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And I follow me out there on x at Paul Baron.
- 29:04Speaker 1: We'll catch you next time right here on Techpath.
