One of the ways we can love God and others with all of our heart is by practicing a very simple form of prayer. Modeled after the way Mister Rogers prayed every day, we learn to trust in God and God’s love.
Prayer
Dear God, we thank you for this day, and for all of your blessings. As a way of loving with all of our heart, we lift up the following people, trusting that you know them and care for them even more than we do. [Pray for people by name.] We love you, we trust you, and we thank you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
