- 1:15Speaker 3: a chance to, you know, say our hello's yesterday.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It was kind of right into it. We're doing.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's fantastic. I love this time of year. We didn't
- 1:26Speaker 3: get a chance to talk about the this is my
- 1:28Speaker 3: favorite time of year. It's it's peak and it's like
- 1:30Speaker 3: leading up to even more of my favorite time of year.
- 1:34Speaker 3: We didn't get a chance to talk about the ten
- 1:36Speaker 3: new Packers going a little playoff run. Did you know
- 1:39Speaker 3: some teams you gotta you gotta peak at the right time.
- 1:43Speaker 3: That's right, you gotta peak at the right time.
- 1:45Speaker 2: People.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It's kind of like the Uh let's see twenty eleven
- 1:49Speaker 3: in Green Bay, we were fifteen and one. The Giants
- 1:52Speaker 3: were awful throughout this entire season, but they peaked at
- 1:56Speaker 3: the right time.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah. They beat us first round the playoffs, first round.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I guess what the first round we had
- 2:03Speaker 3: to buy, but they beat us first game out. Yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 3: thirteen and three. I think they went on a run
- 2:07Speaker 3: forrus won eleven games in a row. Yeah, the Jets
- 2:11Speaker 3: and Mark Sanchez, Yes, that Mark Sanchez came to San
- 2:15Speaker 3: Diego and and they beat us.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Mark b all up.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Uh hey, we got a little angry he does that.
- 2:26Speaker 2: But we've seen it in sports people.
- 2:27Speaker 3: We see that the teams get hot, teams that were
- 2:31Speaker 3: nobody suspected, teams that people that rode off earlier in
- 2:36Speaker 3: the year, and they just catch fire at the right time. Well,
- 2:38Speaker 3: the ten you flag football Packers team had one win
- 2:42Speaker 3: on the season, had a lot of losses, a lot
- 2:46Speaker 3: of good tries, a lot a lot of a lot
- 2:49Speaker 3: of great tries.
- 2:50Speaker 2: A lot of good tries. Earlier in the season, it
- 2:51Speaker 2: was ugly.
- 2:52Speaker 3: We were getting blown out mid season, wasn't It was
- 2:55Speaker 3: getting closer. By the end of the season. We were peaking.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Talking playoff win We're.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Talking about we're talking, we're talking to playoff wins. People.
- 3:03Speaker 3: We were the second and last seed going into the playoffs,
- 3:06Speaker 3: number two seed went down first round.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Boom.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Guess what turned into a doubleheader. I expected to be
- 3:13Speaker 3: home watching Sunday night football. Nope, got to play the
- 3:19Speaker 3: second game, got to play the three seed, push them
- 3:22Speaker 3: to overtime. They scored a last minute touchdowns had them.
- 3:27Speaker 3: There was a pick six that we had got called
- 3:30Speaker 3: back for flag guarding. I think my guy was just
- 3:33Speaker 3: checking to see if his flag was still there. Did
- 3:37Speaker 3: you let the referee know that's what he was doing. No,
- 3:39Speaker 3: they were doing a nice job. They're refs. You know,
- 3:42Speaker 3: they sacrifice their time. They volunteered. Trust me, they got paid. Yes,
- 3:50Speaker 3: I saw the checks. I mean I knew they weren't volunteering.
- 3:53Speaker 3: They were volunteering their time to get paid for such event,
- 3:58Speaker 3: which is normally called work. Hey, rest were serious that night. Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 3: we brought in the pros. Yeah, brought in the big guns.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah we did. They were good. Yeah, they were good.
- 4:07Speaker 2: We had a couple of standoffs. No yelling. I don't
- 4:12Speaker 2: yell at refs. Really do ten U football?
- 4:16Speaker 5: You don't strike me as a yell at the refs
- 4:17Speaker 5: guy for like flag football or little league's.
- 4:20Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, I'm gonna.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Strike me as a rough conversation guy.
- 4:23Speaker 2: They're rough. Quick question, Bud, Yeah, oh yeah, what was that?
- 4:26Speaker 2: I had to walk out. I hey, why does the
- 4:28Speaker 2: clock stop there?
- 4:29Speaker 3: And he was like, well, you know, it's like I
- 4:32Speaker 3: get it shouldn't have, but you gotta gotta you gotta
- 4:35Speaker 3: work with us. There's a fifteen year old work on
- 4:36Speaker 3: the clock and she's about sixty yards away, and I
- 4:40Speaker 3: was like, well, and she's scrolling on her phone. Well,
- 4:42Speaker 3: you know what, Bud, this is ten U football.
- 4:46Speaker 5: This serious.
- 4:46Speaker 3: We're trying to let anybody run the clock. Now we're
- 4:48Speaker 3: trying to yell what are we doing? Yeah, we're trying
- 4:51Speaker 3: to uh complete our second upside.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Of the day. Yeah. Anyway, proud of those boys.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I don't necessarily yell like minds. When I get mad
- 5:00Speaker 3: at referees. It's like you get the handout and it's
- 5:03Speaker 3: like when you make your point, every point that you
- 5:05Speaker 3: feel like you make, your voice gets a little like yes,
- 5:09Speaker 3: you know. It's kind of like when you talk to
- 5:11Speaker 3: somebody that English is their second or third language, and.
- 5:15Speaker 2: For some reason you talk louder because that's gonna help
- 5:18Speaker 2: exactly it's supposed to start.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, well, hell of run by the packers,
- 5:25Speaker 3: well done. They just need to feel I needed to
- 5:30Speaker 3: fill me Landra.
- 5:30Speaker 2: How are we doing?
- 5:32Speaker 5: Yeah, doing well. We didn't get really Uh there's kind
- 5:34Speaker 5: of something that happened on Sunday, so we didn't get
- 5:37Speaker 5: to talk too much about the game yesterday.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Which is wild.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Yeah lot.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yesterday. Yeah, totally blacked out.
- 5:50Speaker 5: So I don't know. My grandpa and my dad came
- 5:54Speaker 5: into town, so that was cool. It sucked that they
- 5:56Speaker 5: had to see us so down bad so Saturday night, but.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Because you know, they grew up probably Texas fans.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Yeah, so they still don't like A and M and Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 5: but I think they still enjoyed the experience. It was great.
- 6:09Speaker 5: I was happy that I got to hook them up
- 6:13Speaker 5: with some sideline passes.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yeah that's great.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Yeah, they were right on the fifties, so they got
- 6:18Speaker 5: the hook up. I think they were happy either way.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Hey, they they got to feel.
- 6:22Speaker 5: It for a half, yes, yeah, yeah, for a half
- 6:24Speaker 5: it was it was fine.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 5: And my grandpa was making fun of me because they
- 6:28Speaker 5: would A and M would score and I'd get mad,
- 6:30Speaker 5: and then he's like, it's fine, you're gonna get happy
- 6:32Speaker 5: here in a little bit because then LS she would
- 6:33Speaker 5: score and I'd be all happy. And then but then
- 6:36Speaker 5: we didn't know, and it was terrible. But to be fair,
- 6:39Speaker 5: I told them before they wanted to come, and I
- 6:43Speaker 5: was like, okay, I mean, we're gonna get ran all over.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Let him know.
- 6:47Speaker 3: You're a ball noer and you knew what the offense
- 6:49Speaker 3: was going to do.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I let them. I was like, y'all there, we're
- 6:52Speaker 5: gonna lose, but sure, come.
- 6:54Speaker 3: On, hey, you know it's third and nine, right, yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 3: hear me out. We're about to throw a receiver screen
- 7:01Speaker 3: behind the line of scrimmage.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The guy next to me, you're not going to expect it.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It's not the same formation that we've always.
- 7:10Speaker 5: The guy next to me kept going, why don't they
- 7:12Speaker 5: throw a screen? And then I was like, do they
- 7:16Speaker 5: know that the middle of the field exists or are
- 7:19Speaker 5: there like a blockage.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Just for l call I said, they think. I think
- 7:24Speaker 3: that they think that there's crime scene tape and you
- 7:27Speaker 3: can't mess with the investigation if you go in the middle.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You know, like my children, they always play the floors, lava, inside,
- 7:33Speaker 3: the hashes, the middle lava. Yes, hey, we we did
- 7:37Speaker 3: complete a pass over the middle though the one that
- 7:40Speaker 3: we attempted.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It was beautiful, was like late first quarter. Yeah, it
- 7:45Speaker 2: was beautiful and.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Slums like, we ain't going back to that two games
- 7:48Speaker 3: in a road that that's sat So I will say
- 7:50Speaker 3: that on that. Like with all the craziness yesterday the
- 7:54Speaker 3: show being all about the coach moves and everything, we
- 7:57Speaker 3: didn't get a chance to get our film view article out,
- 8:00Speaker 3: but it will come out this afternoon and we go
- 8:03Speaker 3: over a lot of those things. But let me tell
- 8:05Speaker 3: you there was a lot of There was some positive,
- 8:08Speaker 3: real positive takeaways actually watching the film, and we can
- 8:11Speaker 3: get to some of that throughout the.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Real quick harlem Berry.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty good for real positive. Yeah, real positive.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Why didn't he have a bunch of yards in the
- 8:22Speaker 3: second half, Matt, I don't know, that's a great question.
- 8:26Speaker 2: In the first half, did he gets sick? I thought
- 8:30Speaker 2: I saw him out there have homework.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Maybe it was a homework we could have had like.
- 8:34Speaker 3: A midnight project, little project, you guys, we student athlete
- 8:38Speaker 3: and that order.
- 8:42Speaker 2: So I get that. Yeah, we're gonna so we'll go
- 8:43Speaker 2: over a little bit today.
- 8:44Speaker 3: But there was some actually things that we talked about
- 8:47Speaker 3: last week in the film movie that they that they
- 8:49Speaker 3: did that we needed to be fixed and it and
- 8:53Speaker 3: it helped Harlan Berry get some explosive games.
- 8:55Speaker 5: And I'm pretty sure they read your article. Well, well, yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 5: you are the Boolish starter.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Listen, y'all joke, but there is a strong chance that
- 9:04Speaker 3: they saw no for.
- 9:06Speaker 5: I'm not joking. I think that they read your article
- 9:08Speaker 5: and they implemented what you were saying in it.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I was sitting there, they read the article, They listened
- 9:14Speaker 3: to the broadcast, you know, they I was sitting in
- 9:17Speaker 3: the north end zone. Second play of the game, I
- 9:19Speaker 3: nearly passed out. I was like what, Oh, I couldn't
- 9:22Speaker 3: believe my eyes. I was like, oh, was that a receiver?
- 9:25Speaker 3: It just got involved in the blocking scheme for a
- 9:27Speaker 3: running play. No shock that it went for twenty yards.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Second place, they dig out the safety.
- 9:32Speaker 2: They dug out the safety.
- 9:33Speaker 6: I didn't want to give you a big head but
- 9:36Speaker 6: a Thursdaday, I went for the coach of press conference. Yep,
- 9:39Speaker 6: hit a couple of your quotes on the on the
- 9:40Speaker 6: whiteboard in the article good it was up there. Oh yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 6: I'm sure it was. Your name was underneath. It's like
- 9:49Speaker 6: the dash mad Flinn.
- 9:50Speaker 3: So that's yep, sob surtle that they actually wait till
- 9:55Speaker 3: that comes out to make the game plan.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Obviously.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah, clearly by there they got a little extra time.
- 10:01Speaker 3: They got a little extra juice. That's why we related
- 10:02Speaker 3: another day. So that's that's gonna be dropping this afternoon.
- 10:05Speaker 3: But we'll go through some of those plays today on
- 10:08Speaker 3: this here show.
- 10:10Speaker 4: They're like, Matt, we have one day to the game.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Can you hurt them?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Put that article out a little bit of receivers?
- 10:18Speaker 3: When you say dig out of safety, what does that mean?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Explain yourself?
- 10:24Speaker 5: Explain it for the non ball now.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, I know what you're talking about.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But like like the people that don't mean oh, they
- 10:32Speaker 3: don't run their routes on run plays.
- 10:34Speaker 2: That's weird, that's weird.
- 10:37Speaker 3: They don't run MENI most worthless routes outside what uh god?
- 10:42Speaker 3: We did it though, and they didn't. They did it
- 10:44Speaker 3: multiple times. Receivers did a great job, and the receivers
- 10:46Speaker 3: did an incredible job. And it's so good, like for
- 10:49Speaker 3: for something they haven't had to do or we're you know,
- 10:51Speaker 3: not asked to do at all. They're out there literally
- 10:54Speaker 3: in the worst situations and getting the shop done. They
- 10:58Speaker 3: did so good that we didn't want to show it
- 11:01Speaker 3: anymore after halftime.
- 11:02Speaker 5: YE had to save it, Yeah, I had to save
- 11:07Speaker 5: it for the bowl game, the rely Quest Bowl. Actually,
- 11:10Speaker 5: I think it's gonna be the cheese a Citrus hell
- 11:12Speaker 5: A representatives there.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I like it's going to be another Texas Bowl.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Is that worse than the Cheese d.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I feel like it is, right.
- 11:21Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't know the pecking I don't know, say,
- 11:24Speaker 5: I don't know bowl hierarchy.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I mean they're probably you know, similar.
- 11:28Speaker 5: But one of the masks for Chris Marler's card from
- 11:32Speaker 5: the cheese At Bowl. Do you really think Chris Marler
- 11:35Speaker 5: had a card?
- 11:36Speaker 2: No?
- 11:37Speaker 5: He was like no, And then he was going to
- 11:39Speaker 5: write down his number and he asked me for a
- 11:41Speaker 5: pin and I was like, I don't have a pin.
- 11:43Speaker 5: It was the most frantic. I don't know, but It
- 11:46Speaker 5: was the most frantic, funny asking for a number.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Evers, how did you used to keep numbers that a
- 11:55Speaker 3: high school, like before you had a cell phone?
- 12:01Speaker 2: Good question.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I mean I know my parents had like like a
- 12:05Speaker 3: legit roll index. It was like one of those classic
- 12:08Speaker 3: bands like note cards. There's like the contact information yeah someone,
- 12:12Speaker 3: and they did. They had all their friends names, their
- 12:14Speaker 3: address written down, phone number, old school. I meant, like
- 12:19Speaker 3: you for the young ladies, but I want Alvin and Ruth.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, good question.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And you know they'd usually write it on those notes
- 12:29Speaker 3: that they'd fold up and write you know, your name
- 12:31Speaker 3: on the front with like the big bubble letters and
- 12:32Speaker 3: color men and like ladybugs and stuff on them.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, then like do you want to go out? Girl? Check?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yes or no? Maybe? Do you love me? Do you
- 12:43Speaker 2: want me? That was fun. That was what a time
- 12:47Speaker 2: to be alive.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Calling and like you know the person the girl you're
- 12:50Speaker 3: calling that her dad answers, her mom, Hey speak with.
- 12:55Speaker 5: That's why people don't have social skills. Now you don't
- 12:58Speaker 5: have to do that, Like oh.
- 12:59Speaker 3: My gosh, I hope the mom answers, Oh my gosh,
- 13:02Speaker 3: please let it be the mom.
- 13:06Speaker 2: This is that from school? What do you want from
- 13:10Speaker 2: what do you want with her? What do you want
- 13:11Speaker 2: with Jessica here in sixth grade? Oh no, so I
- 13:17Speaker 2: just wanted to let's see what she's doing.
- 13:20Speaker 5: I know, she gave me her number that talk to.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Your daughter about it?
- 13:25Speaker 4: She told me color.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Oh it's like then then you know whoever gets on
- 13:29Speaker 3: the phone like, hey, hey, what what are you doing?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yeah? Nothing, what's about? He did her?
- 13:37Speaker 3: Okay, do you do you want to sit with me
- 13:40Speaker 3: at lunch once? Yeah, that's it electric electric conversation. I
- 13:50Speaker 3: used to have a US is like way back like
- 13:52Speaker 3: middle school, used to have a paint pen, and I
- 13:57Speaker 3: had white walls, and like any friend that came over,
- 14:02Speaker 3: it's like, hey, write your number on the wall. And
- 14:06Speaker 3: so like my my bedroom wall had names with phone numbers,
- 14:10Speaker 3: like in like a blue paint pin.
- 14:13Speaker 6: You see Jake standing with the flashlighted like midnight, trying
- 14:16Speaker 6: to dial the right number.
- 14:17Speaker 3: So usually it's like you're not supposed to you get
- 14:20Speaker 3: in trouble if you ride on walls, but unless you're
- 14:22Speaker 3: using it as an address and for contacting. Yeah, I
- 14:25Speaker 3: know my parents are like okay, well makes sense. I
- 14:28Speaker 3: guess that's cool. Yeah, I thought it was kind of cool. Yeah,
- 14:30Speaker 3: I like that.
- 14:31Speaker 5: So someone tweeted me that the wide receivers had practice
- 14:34Speaker 5: blocking on all the screens. That's why they were like, oh,
- 14:38Speaker 5: let's do it out the same.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Well, no, this was a cause.
- 14:42Speaker 3: This was this was a hell of a job by
- 14:44Speaker 3: Nick Anderson, by Trade eds Green. They were putting the
- 14:47Speaker 3: worst position to have to dig out the safety and guess.
- 14:49Speaker 2: What they found A way they did it. It's crazy
- 14:52Speaker 2: because they're pretty athletic.
- 14:53Speaker 3: And and the South am didn't expect it. No play
- 14:57Speaker 3: the game trade as HD A guy cracked him side
- 14:59Speaker 3: of the head and you see, I got a good
- 15:01Speaker 3: clip that got a good screenshot of it. I'll have
- 15:03Speaker 3: in that article. That guy's feet just straight up in
- 15:05Speaker 3: the air. Yeah, it's great. We were in the ooped
- 15:08Speaker 3: up twice and once we had a play that it's
- 15:13Speaker 3: not as bad as you think. Little teaser for the article,
- 15:15Speaker 3: Oh tease. A lot of people are mad about it
- 15:17Speaker 3: in real time, but it was actually a good play call.
- 15:20Speaker 3: It was all right, we'll take our first break of
- 15:22Speaker 3: the show. Of course, we're going to dive into you know,
- 15:26Speaker 3: Brian Kelly not being the coach at LSU who's going
- 15:29Speaker 3: to be the coach? What does Vegas say? What are
- 15:31Speaker 3: we hearing from around the sports world? A lot to
- 15:35Speaker 3: get to, a ton to get to. We hadn't even
- 15:37Speaker 3: broke down the Saints game and how that all played
- 15:40Speaker 3: out and a panic move to replace your quarterback.
- 15:44Speaker 2: All of that.
- 15:44Speaker 3: We got Nick Underhill joining us at nine as well
- 15:47Speaker 3: to break that down. Stay locked in here to otb
- 15:50Speaker 3: off the bench, all right.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Go to trash rangers dot com.

- 16:32Speaker 3: pick up one time a week, they can pick up
- 16:33Speaker 3: six times a week. They can do whatever. And then
- 16:35Speaker 3: what if you have a special project, What if you're
- 16:37Speaker 3: doing a little fall cleaning. What if you just have
- 16:39Speaker 3: to move impromptu and clean at your house and pack up,
- 16:43Speaker 3: Then you got a big roll off dumpster.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And they got three sizes right there.
- 16:46Speaker 3: They are the experts and Louisiana's leader in trash removal
- 16:49Speaker 3: services that is trash Rangers dot com.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Don and you got to let me no, shoot I stay,
- 17:13Speaker 1: shoot I go.
- 17:16Speaker 7: If you say that you are.
- 17:17Speaker 8: My tigers turn talkers, this is off the bench no time.
- 17:24Speaker 7: So you've got to let me know. Shoot I stay,
- 17:29Speaker 7: you shoot I go.
- 17:32Speaker 8: Hey, So with.
- 17:33Speaker 7: Tease, tease tease, you'll have to win on on my knees.
- 17:41Speaker 7: One day is fine, the next it's black. So if
- 17:46Speaker 7: you want me, hep your back.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Welcome on, all right, Welcome back here, no TV here
- 17:52Speaker 3: live from the Raising Kine Studio, something we didn't really
- 17:57Speaker 3: get a chance to get into yesterday.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Just quickly here.
- 18:01Speaker 3: It is going to be Alex Atkins who's going to
- 18:04Speaker 3: remain as the tight ends coach but also serve as
- 18:06Speaker 3: your play caller. Tim Ritay is going to coach the quarterbacks.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Cortes Hayton's going to stay in his role as receivers coach,
- 18:15Speaker 3: and then of course Frank Wilson is going to be
- 18:18Speaker 3: your interim head coach. I think Cortes will have a
- 18:22Speaker 3: little extra responsibility with the running backs as well.
- 18:26Speaker 2: His brother, his brother.
- 18:27Speaker 3: His brother's going to Yeah, he's helping special teams and
- 18:30Speaker 3: he's going to have a big role with the running
- 18:32Speaker 3: backs now that Frank is the interim head coach. Of course,
- 18:35Speaker 3: Frank has been head coach in two different spots to
- 18:38Speaker 3: UTSA and McNeice, and you know, Frank's been here for
- 18:42Speaker 3: so long. Everybody knows Frank loves Frank very well respected. Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 3: for sure, for sure. And they've got a bear in
- 18:50Speaker 3: front of them. They've got a road trip to Alabama.
- 18:54Speaker 3: They've got a road trip to Norman, Oklahoma. They've got
- 18:57Speaker 3: Arkansas at home, and you've got Western as well at home.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Nobody gonna feel sorry for you. Talk about that often.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Alabama is going to try to do exactly what Texas
- 19:12Speaker 3: A and M just did to you, Arkansas scoring points
- 19:14Speaker 3: on everyone. Now, they're not winning the games or losing
- 19:16Speaker 3: close ones, but Arkansas is certainly not going to feel
- 19:19Speaker 3: sorry for you and buy Petrino is trying to win
- 19:21Speaker 3: that job. He's trying to get the interim tag removed
- 19:23Speaker 3: and be the full time head coach again at Arkansas
- 19:26Speaker 3: and Oklahoma, your first trip to Norman as a member
- 19:31Speaker 3: of the SEC. So we'll see what happens there. But
- 19:36Speaker 3: you can't quit, can't lay down. You still got to
- 19:39Speaker 3: play these games, and you're going to see who really
- 19:43Speaker 3: loves the old purple and goal here in the next
- 19:45Speaker 3: four games, you're going to see who is prideful about
- 19:48Speaker 3: the helmet those three letters that we always talk about.
- 19:51Speaker 3: That's one of the things in an interim coach situation,
- 19:54Speaker 3: it's typically one way or the other. It's a situation
- 19:59Speaker 3: where it's just more of the same, you know, and
- 20:02Speaker 3: you just go out there and you lay an egg
- 20:04Speaker 3: or maybe turn it into UCLA and you turn it
- 20:09Speaker 3: into something where it's a rallying cry to say, we're
- 20:12Speaker 3: not gonna.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Allow this to happen anymore.
- 20:14Speaker 3: We're gonna go out there and we're gonna make sure
- 20:15Speaker 3: that we play to the best of our ability. And also, look,
- 20:18Speaker 3: the cool thing about having an interim coach, because you know,
- 20:22Speaker 3: a lot of it is not fun, because that means
- 20:24Speaker 3: your season is not going great. But the cool thing
- 20:27Speaker 3: about it is it's kind of the why the hell
- 20:30Speaker 3: not mentality, Let's just do whatever we want to do.
- 20:35Speaker 3: We can try a couple of things that maybe we
- 20:37Speaker 3: wouldn't have tried before, and you got an opportunity to
- 20:41Speaker 3: go out there against some good teams and see what happens. Yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 3: you said a You said something there that says you're
- 20:50Speaker 3: gonna find out who loves the purple and gold real quick.
- 20:53Speaker 3: You're gonna find out who cares about the three letters
- 20:55Speaker 3: on their helmet, three letters on their chest. And I
- 20:58Speaker 3: know one person over there for sure does and that's
- 21:01Speaker 3: Frank Wilson.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I know he cares a lot. He loves this university.
- 21:06Speaker 2: He's come back.
- 21:07Speaker 3: It's mean, it's meant a lot to him for a
- 21:09Speaker 3: long time, and I know this opportunity means a lot
- 21:12Speaker 3: to him, and I know he doesn't take it for granted.
- 21:14Speaker 3: A lot of respect from these two chairs for Frank
- 21:19Speaker 3: and the time that he has spent, what he's done,
- 21:21Speaker 3: what he's what he's meant to that room. I mean,
- 21:23Speaker 3: I think you saw an outpouring of former players talking,
- 21:27Speaker 3: sharing stories about Frank and wishing well and just like
- 21:30Speaker 3: sharing the love for him because he has loved the
- 21:33Speaker 3: university and respected his position and really like cherished his
- 21:37Speaker 3: spot on his staff here at l s U for
- 21:39Speaker 3: a long, long, long time. I remember him calling me
- 21:43Speaker 3: a long time ago. I was already in the NFL.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I think Frank Frank was right after our senior year
- 21:49Speaker 3: when he when he joined the Yeah, pretty much like
- 21:53Speaker 3: missing by a little bit.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe a couple of years.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I remember him calling me when I was in Green Bay,
- 21:59Speaker 3: introducing himself and like, hey, we we really like your help,
- 22:02Speaker 3: you know, talking to or I can't remember what it was,
- 22:06Speaker 3: or sending a message or something like that to Zac Mettenberger.
- 22:09Speaker 3: They were recruiting, and it's like because he just always
- 22:11Speaker 3: always wanting to reach out to former guys and and
- 22:15Speaker 3: interlock former.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Guys current guys and and things like that.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Yeah, he's he's had me when I was living in Treeport,
- 22:21Speaker 3: not even living in Baton Rouge yet, I just retired
- 22:25Speaker 3: and I wasn't I wasn't gonna be able to make
- 22:28Speaker 3: it on like a Friday, like to go speak to
- 22:30Speaker 3: the running backs. He's like, no, we're good, Like I
- 22:32Speaker 3: don't I don't care if you're here in person, like
- 22:34Speaker 3: we'll put you on a speakerphone, Like I just want
- 22:35Speaker 3: them to hear from you. Yeah, and then you know,
- 22:38Speaker 3: once we moved here, I've done it a couple of times,
- 22:41Speaker 3: and it was like important for him, and this is
- 22:42Speaker 3: the way he presents it.
- 22:43Speaker 2: He's like, it's.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Important for for me that this generation hears from you
- 22:49Speaker 3: know what y'all did and what it means to y'all,
- 22:52Speaker 3: and so like, yeah, it's something he's always been really
- 22:54Speaker 3: big about.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Which again, like.
- 22:55Speaker 3: We talked about yesterday, that wasn't That wasn't the theme
- 22:58Speaker 3: with with Brian Kelly. No, No, it certainly wasn't. But
- 23:02Speaker 3: he didn't he didn't really care about that part of
- 23:06Speaker 3: And I'm not saying he like you have to at all.
- 23:08Speaker 2: It's a it's a choice. But if you make that choice,
- 23:11Speaker 2: you better be right. Yeah. I yeah, I hear you.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I hear you. I don't agree with the choice. I'm
- 23:18Speaker 2: just saying, like, you know.
- 23:18Speaker 3: A place like this, it's like a lot of us
- 23:23Speaker 3: live here and move back here for a reason.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And I've I've been around a lot of college programs.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I know a lot of people work with a lot
- 23:30Speaker 3: of different people that played at great programs, but they
- 23:34Speaker 3: live elsewhere.
- 23:36Speaker 2: This, this place is, this place is a lot of
- 23:38Speaker 2: people move back here.
- 23:40Speaker 3: And so when you don't feel like you can just
- 23:45Speaker 3: and look, you got to have some structure. I know
- 23:48Speaker 3: that it's like you can't just have hate a lot
- 23:50Speaker 3: of former players, And I think it's like in this
- 23:52Speaker 3: in this world this, and we harped on this yesterday,
- 23:54Speaker 3: so we don't need to get too deep into the
- 23:56Speaker 3: weeds with it. But like you know, in this world
- 23:58Speaker 3: where you are paying that come in, they might have
- 24:01Speaker 3: already been in two different schools, they might only be
- 24:03Speaker 3: here for one year and trying to take it to
- 24:06Speaker 3: the next.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It doesn't matter what their why.
- 24:08Speaker 3: For playing is, whether it's for money, for the love
- 24:10Speaker 3: of a school, for their family, whatever. It doesn't matter
- 24:12Speaker 3: what their why is. You still need to get them
- 24:14Speaker 3: to play hard. But in a world where it's not
- 24:17Speaker 3: like everybody on your team signed here out of high school.
- 24:20Speaker 3: They've been here for three, four or five years. This
- 24:22Speaker 3: is their shot and they love the university. Blah blah blah.
- 24:25Speaker 3: It's not always like that with everybody. I'm not saying
- 24:27Speaker 3: it's not like that, But with the entire team. When
- 24:31Speaker 3: it's becoming a little bit more of semi professional football,
- 24:34Speaker 3: it's less and less that that heartfelt love culture that
- 24:38Speaker 3: we all know and love about college football. So I
- 24:41Speaker 3: think at that day and age, you having those guys
- 24:43Speaker 3: around is the right thing to do to kind of
- 24:45Speaker 3: set that culture and tell that what is expected. What
- 24:48Speaker 3: do we talk about last Thursday when we were at
- 24:50Speaker 3: Pro Dreams And obviously they got memorabilia there, so we
- 24:52Speaker 3: started to get into kind of like a memorabilia talk
- 24:56Speaker 3: some of my best memories from playing at LSU. We're
- 25:00Speaker 3: having conversations with Jim Taylor, and Jim Taylor was on
- 25:04Speaker 3: the championship team that was fifty years before ours. But
- 25:09Speaker 3: I was like, that's Jim Taylor. I'm going to listen
- 25:13Speaker 3: to every word he says. I'm going to take it
- 25:16Speaker 3: all in and I'm gonna try to use it because
- 25:19Speaker 3: this man has won a national championship, a super Bowl
- 25:23Speaker 3: and guess what, he's got a jacket that's gold, right
- 25:27Speaker 3: and he didn't buy it at Burlington, all right, it's
- 25:30Speaker 3: because he's a Pro Football Hall of Famer. So yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna listen to this even though we played fifty
- 25:36Speaker 3: years apart.
- 25:36Speaker 2: From each other.
- 25:38Speaker 3: There's no doubt, like Pete, people that have and it's
- 25:41Speaker 3: not even like guys that were Hall of famers. I mean,
- 25:43Speaker 3: this is guys that were And it is a little
- 25:46Speaker 3: different for you because you were, you work for the team,
- 25:49Speaker 3: you do it. You're like you have the access and
- 25:51Speaker 3: even even me with with my high and just you
- 25:55Speaker 3: know whatever access. But like, you know a lot of
- 26:00Speaker 3: people that were you know, role player special teams guys
- 26:03Speaker 3: or backup linebackers that meant a lot to the team
- 26:06Speaker 3: and were understood it, they just didn't feel welcome, right,
- 26:10Speaker 3: And I think, you know, I don't want to share
- 26:12Speaker 3: in film, like not suppose to. But if Frank's already
- 26:14Speaker 3: kind of like reached out to a lot of people, Yeah,
- 26:18Speaker 3: a lot of people.
- 26:19Speaker 2: And Frank yesterday and he wants to immediately change that.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Yeah, because I could tell, I mean you could tell
- 26:25Speaker 3: just based on that he didn't like that portion of
- 26:27Speaker 3: the way the program was that portionately, So he's already
- 26:32Speaker 3: kind of started to want some of those guys around. Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 3: I think it's important right now to have those people
- 26:37Speaker 3: around because, like we just talked about to start this segment, right,
- 26:43Speaker 3: this is going to go two ways. Either gonna lay
- 26:45Speaker 3: down and quit, which I don't think is going to happen,
- 26:48Speaker 3: but it's certainly something that you see when an inter
- 26:51Speaker 3: coach comes in. Or you can have those people around
- 26:54Speaker 3: the program to tell you kind of what it meant
- 26:56Speaker 3: to them and what it means to them still and
- 27:01Speaker 3: that can help the process.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and the team's not getting any less talented right overnight. Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Uh, they're still the same, the same guys that have
- 27:09Speaker 3: been walking out there on that field all season.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I think now you just kind of get Hey, you.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Get that interim bump, and what everybody's like, why are
- 27:16Speaker 3: you going to Why is the interim bump a thing? Well,
- 27:19Speaker 3: because when you when you start going down, momentum carries you.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Momentum is a beautiful thing and it could be an
- 27:25Speaker 3: ugly thing, like bad momentum is an ugly thing.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Good momentum is a great dance.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Why college football a lot of times in the swing
- 27:31Speaker 3: of the game is how the momentum goes. Well, there's
- 27:33Speaker 3: momentum to a season as well. Mimniums against you. You
- 27:37Speaker 3: start pressing, you start thinking too much, you start you
- 27:41Speaker 3: stop reacting to to plays and teams and game plans,
- 27:47Speaker 3: and you start trying to force things, You start trying
- 27:50Speaker 3: to look in the mirror a little too much and.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Try to make things up.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Bad things start to happen and you start to press
- 27:59Speaker 3: when things when a big shift like this, haven't it,
- 28:02Speaker 3: interim bump comes because there's new energy. There's new energy
- 28:05Speaker 3: that's brought to the team. Hope is a is a
- 28:08Speaker 3: is a powerful thing. And when you have hope, you
- 28:11Speaker 3: have a chance. When hope starts to go away, it
- 28:13Speaker 3: starts to fade away, and you're like, man, this isn't working.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I don't like this. That can be detrimental to a team.
- 28:20Speaker 3: And I think you've seen a little bit of that.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I mean a lot of it. There's a lot of
- 28:23Speaker 3: reasons why that you lost these games, and you know
- 28:27Speaker 3: they're we're actually playing pretty good against A and M,
- 28:29Speaker 3: and then the second half it goes goes to hell.
- 28:31Speaker 3: So but you get an energy, you get a new hope,
- 28:34Speaker 3: and yeah, I'm look, I'm excited to see what kind
- 28:38Speaker 3: of product they throw out on the field, because yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 3: a lot was said. We spent three hours talking about
- 28:42Speaker 3: one coaching move yesterday, But guess what, there's still tackle
- 28:45Speaker 3: football to be played and a lot of it, and
- 28:46Speaker 3: you've got a good team still, so why not go
- 28:49Speaker 3: out there? Why why can't we went out because we
- 28:54Speaker 3: can got the talent to do it, a little new energy,
- 28:58Speaker 3: make some plays. Don't call wide receiver screens on third
- 29:01Speaker 3: and eight.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Are a motion.
- 29:05Speaker 3: You're tied end to run a three yard flat on
- 29:07Speaker 3: third and five, which was certain seven it was an
- 29:11Speaker 3: RPO too. Even better third and seven, it was an
- 29:14Speaker 3: r PO tied end to the flat only option.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Mhm.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Hey, anyway, Frank, I got don't don't not right now.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Don't do it to yourself, buddy, huh. Just thinking about it,
- 29:41Speaker 3: just thinking about some of the situations and all the
- 29:45Speaker 3: dynamics that came into the game plan and the first
- 29:49Speaker 3: fifteen and all those situations.
- 29:52Speaker 2: But but but.
- 29:57Speaker 3: You got a new voice, and hopefully that understands that
- 30:01Speaker 3: when you need seven yards, you can't run a three
- 30:03Speaker 3: yard are out. I think Frank does when it's the
- 30:07Speaker 3: only option that your quarterback has. So a lot to
- 30:12Speaker 3: get to and we will get to some film today. Obviously, yesterday,
- 30:15Speaker 3: like Matt said, was three hours about the same thing,
- 30:17Speaker 3: because it should have been.
- 30:18Speaker 2: That's big news, big move.
- 30:20Speaker 3: You pay a coach fifty four million dollars to not
- 30:22Speaker 3: come into the building the next day. It's a big,
- 30:24Speaker 3: big day, and like we don't even know that it's
- 30:27Speaker 3: going to end up being fifty four million dollars by
- 30:29Speaker 3: the way, Like we'll get there once we get there
- 30:32Speaker 3: and we find out the actual number. But makes sense, right, Well,
- 30:36Speaker 3: today we're going to get into some of that, and
- 30:38Speaker 3: we'll get into some of what we're hearing about who
- 30:41Speaker 3: potentially could be some candidates for.
- 30:43Speaker 2: The LSU job.
- 30:44Speaker 3: And also we will watch some tape because you still
- 30:47Speaker 3: have a football season, you still have four games, and
- 30:50Speaker 3: you still can make corrections. You still can champion for
- 30:53Speaker 3: the things that actually went right on the field on Saturday.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Certainly in the first half there was a lot. Second half,
- 30:58Speaker 3: I would say not so much. But we'll watch it
- 31:01Speaker 3: all today and we'll do it right here on OTB
- 31:04Speaker 3: off the bench. I go to pelicanroof dot com website

- 33:33Speaker 3: matter of ten to fifteen minutes.
- 33:35Speaker 2: That's what they've done for me. They'll do it for
- 33:36Speaker 2: you as well. All Right, you got those you got
- 33:39Speaker 2: those motores screens? I do those motor screens are incredible.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Oh I don't really like where that sun's at right now.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Push that button. We don't have them right now. Help
- 33:50Speaker 3: me get some real soon. I got faith you can
- 33:55Speaker 3: get it done. Because it's like a it's like an
- 34:01Speaker 3: eight night song.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I don't know. Once you asked the DJ what the
- 34:06Speaker 2: theme is?
- 34:07Speaker 5: Its eighties, right, Yeah, that's eighties Tuesday.
- 34:10Speaker 3: I know, but like sometimes you'll even go like eighties
- 34:13Speaker 3: but sub band.
- 34:15Speaker 5: No, I'm just going hits.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Play the hits, the hits. I don't care about them.
- 34:21Speaker 3: DECUPTU play the hits?
- 34:25Speaker 2: Who does sure to not play the hits?
- 34:27Speaker 5: Yeah? But who doesn't love you too?
- 34:30Speaker 2: Apple? Does? You're talking about us too?
- 34:34Speaker 5: Yeah? Who doesn't love you too?
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yeah? Right? Am? I? Right? Do we really like you too?
- 34:41Speaker 5: I like you too?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Like I like this though, no, I'm trying to think like.
- 34:47Speaker 3: I don't like how they invaded I don't like.
- 34:50Speaker 5: That they they invaded your phone too. They invaded everybody's phone.
- 34:54Speaker 5: I don't like that. But they make some good music.
- 34:56Speaker 6: I don't even know they did that till we talked
- 34:57Speaker 6: about it the other day.
- 34:59Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Though, good for them, it feels like a violation of
- 35:02Speaker 5: my privacy.
- 35:03Speaker 3: But I think Bona was also the voice of Clay
- 35:07Speaker 3: Callaway and sing too.
- 35:10Speaker 5: Never seen it first?
- 35:12Speaker 3: He's the lion, the rock star Clay Callaway. Okay, I
- 35:16Speaker 3: think I can get there. I seen it first for you. Well,
- 35:21Speaker 3: you know, I'll watch things with my children. Shout out
- 35:25Speaker 3: to No, I do too, but the name like, how
- 35:27Speaker 3: quickly you knew that like I've seen sing a thousand
- 35:31Speaker 3: times with the kiddos, I couldn't tell you Matthew McConaughey's
- 35:34Speaker 3: characters name. Hey, I'm gonna ta I'm gonna take a
- 35:36Speaker 3: shot in the dark hair. See if my family is
- 35:38Speaker 3: in the car and listening.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I want to get it.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Late latest, three three minutes late birthday, shout out to
- 35:44Speaker 3: my second two zette.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Birthday three days ago, three days ago.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Three minutes.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Was the wish that she made before she blew her
- 35:57Speaker 5: candle out for Brian Kelly to be fired.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It might have been I need what you don't ask
- 36:02Speaker 2: him because it want true?
- 36:03Speaker 5: Well what it already happened?
- 36:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I can ask.
- 36:07Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure because of two set she did?
- 36:12Speaker 2: All right too? Is that what you whispered? Right? All right?
- 36:15Speaker 5: Twos shout out to her.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Happy birthday.
- 36:20Speaker 3: You said number eight, big number eight, big eight.
- 36:22Speaker 2: There you go. All right.
- 36:25Speaker 3: So at some point during the show, and then probably
- 36:28Speaker 3: when't we come back from this next one, h we'll
- 36:31Speaker 3: kind of update you. Because Vegas, as you know, like
- 36:33Speaker 3: anytime you have a coaching vacancy like l s U,
- 36:38Speaker 3: you're gonna have odds on it. Vegas is gonna bet
- 36:40Speaker 3: on everything. Now you might not can get odds on
- 36:41Speaker 3: the next U A B coach, but you're gonna be
- 36:43Speaker 3: able to get odds on the next L S U coach,
- 36:46Speaker 3: and so we'll update you there. But as we were
- 36:50Speaker 3: talking about in the last segment, what's left still on
- 36:53Speaker 3: your schedule, you do have a trip to the number
- 36:55Speaker 3: four team in the country and a trip to the
- 36:57Speaker 3: number eighteen team currently in the ap pole in the country.
- 37:06Speaker 3: You if you went three and one, which is it's
- 37:11Speaker 3: a lot to ask right now for after what we
- 37:13Speaker 3: just saw. If you went three and one, you'd be
- 37:17Speaker 3: eight and four, which would be you know, I'd wins,
- 37:22Speaker 3: I say so, which would normally be very disappointing.
- 37:24Speaker 2: It's not where you want to be.
- 37:26Speaker 3: But considering you're five and three right now, eight and four,
- 37:29Speaker 3: when I think the momentum that you would need from that,
- 37:33Speaker 3: and maybe because I don't think it's going to be
- 37:37Speaker 3: in an entire rebuild situation, whoever the next head coach is,
- 37:41Speaker 3: I do think there's things in place that you can
- 37:43Speaker 3: build off of.
- 37:43Speaker 2: There's things that you can keep in place.
- 37:45Speaker 3: There's things that I just talking about the roster and
- 37:48Speaker 3: talking about some of the people like I love this
- 37:50Speaker 3: defensive staff. I think given the right offensive staff to
- 37:53Speaker 3: help compliment each other, this could be a defensive staff
- 37:57Speaker 3: that can go and do a lot of great things.
- 38:00Speaker 3: So I think if you go eight and four, I
- 38:03Speaker 3: think you and you show some fight, and you show
- 38:06Speaker 3: that hey, maybe maybe there was some things that were
- 38:09Speaker 3: holding us back yep, then I think you could potentially
- 38:14Speaker 3: have those conversations of bringing what was working, bringing the
- 38:17Speaker 3: good that you have on this team back.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I think the usually what happens in these situations, especially
- 38:23Speaker 3: this day and age with transfer portals and windows in
- 38:27Speaker 3: il that when a situation like this happens, when a
- 38:30Speaker 3: coach at a big program, when he gets when he
- 38:33Speaker 3: gets fired, has to move on to new coaching staff,
- 38:36Speaker 3: especially after a up to this point of disappointing season,
- 38:40Speaker 3: especially especially after an embarrassing game at home where you
- 38:45Speaker 3: were hosting recruits, uh, there is usually an exodus of
- 38:48Speaker 3: not only of recruits and recruits starting to look at
- 38:52Speaker 3: other places, but of your current players. There's an exodus
- 38:55Speaker 3: of players that are going to look for a different
- 38:56Speaker 3: opportunity with a safer place, a more established player, a
- 39:00Speaker 3: place that didn't just get embarrassed at their their home field.
- 39:04Speaker 2: That's what's gonna happen. And I'm sure that is what's
- 39:06Speaker 2: gonna happen.
- 39:07Speaker 3: But if you can find a way to salvage some momentum,
- 39:10Speaker 3: to salvage some pride, and you just talked about going
- 39:13Speaker 3: three and one, if you can do that and then
- 39:18Speaker 3: make the right higher, you can save a lot of that.
- 39:21Speaker 3: You can turn that around and become just a small
- 39:24Speaker 3: exodus instead of a mass exodus. So it's important. The
- 39:28Speaker 3: next few weeks is important for this team. It's certainly
- 39:33Speaker 3: important for the fan base. So as a fan base, yeah,
- 39:36Speaker 3: we certainly got we got to breathe new life. We
- 39:38Speaker 3: got to do what we can as a fan base.
- 39:40Speaker 3: There's not a lot we can do, but there's a
- 39:41Speaker 3: little bit. You can show up to the games, you
- 39:44Speaker 3: can support the team. You can be publicly supportive, you
- 39:46Speaker 3: can be social social media supportive like this is. This
- 39:51Speaker 3: is because not only like on social media do the
- 39:56Speaker 3: players and coaches they don't really see that stuff. But
- 39:58Speaker 3: I tell you who does see it. Recruits. Oh yeah, players, parents, players, brothers, players, sisters.
- 40:05Speaker 2: You're gonna be like, nah, dude, they hate you.
- 40:08Speaker 3: Get out of here. Y got no support. Fan base
- 40:11Speaker 3: is killing y'all. But there is a way to salvage
- 40:17Speaker 3: this whole thing. And it's natural, right if you're you're
- 40:20Speaker 3: a if you're a student athlete, and you have one
- 40:22Speaker 3: or two years of eligibility left, and there's coaches leave
- 40:25Speaker 3: and things aren't looking good, it's natural to look elsewhere
- 40:30Speaker 3: if it is legal to do so, which in this
- 40:32Speaker 3: day in college football, it is all right. So we
- 40:36Speaker 3: will take a break here. We are going to show
- 40:38Speaker 3: some film today, so don't worry. And I know that
- 40:42Speaker 3: a lot of defensive questions, and we're gonna show some
- 40:45Speaker 3: tape that has the right call, not the right execution,
- 40:50Speaker 3: And there's gonna be some tough there's gonna be some
- 40:54Speaker 3: tough love, at least for me whenever we show some
- 40:58Speaker 3: of the defensive film.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Can't hold any punches.
- 41:02Speaker 3: It like I get you and you keep saying the
- 41:07Speaker 3: same thing over and over about a certain player, but
- 41:09Speaker 3: also like that players needs to make the play. So
- 41:12Speaker 3: we'll get to the defensive film probably an hour number
- 41:14Speaker 3: two of the show here more OTB when we come
- 41:17Speaker 3: back live from the Raised King studio.
- 41:19Speaker 10: Off the bench.
- 41:21Speaker 3: All right, well, hopefully hopefully you at least were able
- 41:24Speaker 3: to enjoy tailgating and some ice cold dose sekis before
- 41:28Speaker 3: you went into the stadium, and hopefully you were able
- 41:30Speaker 3: to enjoy some in the first half of the game.
- 41:33Speaker 3: And somebody who has enjoyed a do Seki's at a
- 41:35Speaker 3: Mexican restaurant last night, what's roe thatt on social media?
- 41:40Speaker 2: Which restaurant would that be? Uh? One of the local establishments?
- 41:44Speaker 3: Okay, all right, I also enjoyed at dose sekis this
- 41:48Speaker 3: weekend at that same local establishment.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It's always a great time to go for dose. It's
- 41:53Speaker 2: never a bad time.
- 41:54Speaker 3: I can tell you that you got a bye week,
- 41:56Speaker 3: you want to kick your feet up, watch a couple
- 41:57Speaker 3: of games, you should do it while going for dose.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Al Right, go for dose.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Whether it's the delicious green bottle or green can, it's
- 42:03Speaker 3: a Mexican logger with a nice freshly cut lime squeeze
- 42:08Speaker 3: into it, or the amber especially out of the lime
- 42:10Speaker 3: and salt zero whatever. There's so many options if you're
- 42:12Speaker 3: going to do it. If you want to delete some
- 42:14Speaker 3: beers this week, maybe a little midweek beer, whatever it is,
- 42:17Speaker 3: make sure you're going for dose.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Drink responsibly. Dose seconds.
- 42:27Speaker 8: Locked in on LSU Football twenty four to seven. You're
- 42:30Speaker 8: listening to off the bench?
- 42:38Speaker 7: Do you see dreams?
- 43:15Speaker 2: All right?
- 43:15Speaker 3: Welcome back you o TV here on this Tuesday morning.
- 43:24Speaker 2: The Pelicans row and three Kyshaw.
- 43:26Speaker 4: Warner held Zion do last night though you had.
- 43:31Speaker 2: A good game, I didn't play. You got hurt.
- 43:34Speaker 3: They they faced off against the oh and three Celtics
- 43:37Speaker 3: at home and lost one to ninety. They got outscored
- 43:41Speaker 3: in the fourth quarter thirty five to twelve.
- 43:43Speaker 2: They cover cover, They got covered up after plus thirty three,
- 43:51Speaker 2: after what the Celtics did to him.
- 43:58Speaker 3: That I've about to say that all that. That was
- 44:00Speaker 3: one clip of the Pelicans I've seen. That's how you
- 44:03Speaker 3: got the flipping to You should always say flock up.
- 44:05Speaker 5: I don't care.
- 44:06Speaker 3: They're four no, yeah, the Spurs are hells are rowing
- 44:11Speaker 3: three dying.
- 44:12Speaker 5: Uh Harper the rookie almost said freshman. The rookie had
- 44:16Speaker 5: twenty points last night.
- 44:17Speaker 2: School.
- 44:18Speaker 3: If y'all didn't hear the first segment, it doesn't really
- 44:19Speaker 3: matter how you start the season. The ten New Packers,
- 44:24Speaker 3: sure how you finished.
- 44:25Speaker 4: Don't let us get hot.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Don't let them get hot. Revenge by Zion though jumps high.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Same mindset.
- 44:34Speaker 2: It's a long season. It's not even Halloween yet.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Oh and three mm hmm, it's gonna be some tough
- 44:43Speaker 3: times there on a Maroline Highway. H A lot of
- 44:51Speaker 3: season left them both, guys. A lot of season left
- 44:53Speaker 3: them both.
- 44:54Speaker 5: Oh, there's a lot of season left in the NBA.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I really don't feel like
- 44:59Speaker 2: this even fair for the NBA to start right now.
- 45:02Speaker 3: I said they should start like Christmas. Yeah, I think
- 45:06Speaker 3: it's dumb. We still got baseball play being.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Played, which that's insane. They played basically two games last night.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, right, I ain't saying that. Eighteen eighteen.
- 45:16Speaker 3: What time Central Standard time did it end?
- 45:19Speaker 5: I don't know, sep right. I woke up in the middle.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I fell asleep on twelve.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Yeah, well I was asleep way before that, but I
- 45:27Speaker 5: fell asleep with the game on. Woke up in the
- 45:29Speaker 5: middle of the night. It was still on.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Sure Tani reach base all nine times last night.
- 45:34Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 45:34Speaker 3: My god, he's good at baseball, so this Frederick's pretty
- 45:38Speaker 3: good too.
- 45:39Speaker 5: He probably had the over or something.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I know. We'll get there.
- 45:44Speaker 3: All this stuff coming out about betting, it's like we.
- 45:45Speaker 5: Sure, we we sure, sure, Just let's.
