- 0:10Speaker 1: he's running for governor. We hope he wins. Everybody hopes
- 0:13Speaker 1: he wins. And I know you're saying I hope he wins. Well,
- 0:16Speaker 1: you got to do more than hope. You got to
- 0:17Speaker 1: take some action. Go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com. Donate, volunteer
- 0:23Speaker 1: to just help out. Go to Blakeman for New York
- 0:26Speaker 1: dot com. Bruce Blakeman, how you doing.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I'm doing great, Mark, and thank you God bless you
- 0:33Speaker 2: for your message of how we are going to win
- 0:37Speaker 2: and save the state. It's much appreciated. You're a good friend.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you need donations to win, so everybody donate. Did
- 0:45Speaker 1: you just get your matching funds?
- 0:48Speaker 2: We got part of our matching funds. They still owe
- 0:51Speaker 2: us quite a bit of money, but we got part
- 0:53Speaker 2: of it. And today is the deadline for our next
- 0:58Speaker 2: financial filings. So between now and eleven o'clock tonight, if
- 1:02Speaker 2: there's anybody out there who wants to make a contribution
- 1:06Speaker 2: of any level. Go to blakemanfromewyork dot com. We'd love
- 1:09Speaker 2: to get your support. We've got to save our state,
- 1:12Speaker 2: we've got to save our country from people who have
- 1:15Speaker 2: anti American values, and believe me as governor, we will
- 1:19Speaker 2: put the state in the right direction and take it
- 1:22Speaker 2: out of its death spiral.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Hey, so the latest polling I'm not talking about those
- 1:26Speaker 1: public polls, they're mostly junk, but the real polls you got.
- 1:29Speaker 1: One has you at six points, one has you at
- 1:31Speaker 1: eight points. So let's say it's seven points. That's from
- 1:34Speaker 1: being twenty points behind. And you're ahead of where Lee
- 1:38Speaker 1: Zelden was at this point, aren't you.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Well, we're about fourteen points ahead of where Lee was
- 1:44Speaker 2: four years ago. So we're going to win, provided that
- 1:48Speaker 2: we get people out to vote, provided that we have
- 1:51Speaker 2: enough campaign funds to buy social media, radio, TV, streaming,
- 1:55Speaker 2: direct mail. We have the perfect storm here in New York.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We've got a governor that's completely inept. Where the most
- 2:04Speaker 2: overtaxed overregulated state in America are electric bills is seventy
- 2:09Speaker 2: percent higher than the national average. I will end that.
- 2:12Speaker 2: And she is the most pro criminal governor. And now
- 2:16Speaker 2: she's completely aligned at the hit with Zorn Mandami. I
- 2:21Speaker 2: now call her comrade Kathy. The two of them are
- 2:23Speaker 2: conspiring to destroy the economy of the State of New
- 2:27Speaker 2: York and the City of New York, and I will
- 2:31Speaker 2: stop them. I will stop the lawlessness, and I will
- 2:34Speaker 2: bring prosperity and peace and economic development, better jobs, better
- 2:40Speaker 2: benefits to New York State.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, now, Bruce Playbold, Explain, because Kathy Okle always
- 2:45Speaker 1: talks about affordability, explain how the electric bills are so
- 2:48Speaker 1: high as a result of her actions.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so, Kathy Hockel has improved over forty five rate heights,
- 2:58Speaker 2: forty five in the last four and a half years.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So she's directly responsible for your rate hikes. And when
- 3:07Speaker 2: you look at your bill, take a look at your
- 3:10Speaker 2: electric till only thirty percent of your bill goes for energy.
- 3:13Speaker 2: The rest goes from more taxes. She taxes that she
- 3:17Speaker 2: has excessive delivery fees. That's a way to collect more
- 3:20Speaker 2: money without calling it a rate hike. And on top
- 3:23Speaker 2: of that, she has the green energy scam where she
- 3:27Speaker 2: puts solar farms upstate New York under snow and sixty
- 3:31Speaker 2: story wind farms out in the middle of the ocean,
- 3:35Speaker 2: the most expensive way of generating energy, and it is
- 3:40Speaker 2: producing very little energy. I will also open up the
- 3:44Speaker 2: Marcellus Reserve. It's one of the largest natural gas reserves
- 3:48Speaker 2: in the world. It's right here in New York State.
- 3:50Speaker 2: We're going to stop buying our gas from Pennsylvania. We're
- 3:53Speaker 2: going to create prosperity in New York and increase the
- 3:57Speaker 2: supply so we bring down the cost of electricity. I
- 4:00Speaker 2: can cut the electric bills in half. I will when
- 4:03Speaker 2: I'm governor, because that's the number one complaint I get
- 4:06Speaker 2: from people nowadays.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, just explain that to people, because we're sitting
- 4:10Speaker 1: on top of all the natural gas in the world,
- 4:12Speaker 1: yet we buy it from Pennsylvania.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Kathy Hochel scam. It's hypocritical. So she wants
- 4:21Speaker 2: to portray herself as a far left, woke progressive Democrat
- 4:26Speaker 2: who wants only green energy that will never happen in
- 4:30Speaker 2: the foreseeable future. We need fossil fuel, we need natural gas,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and we have one of the largest reserves right here
- 4:40Speaker 2: on the border of Pennsylvania. But in Pennsylvania they let
- 4:43Speaker 2: you extract the gas and they're driving brand new Cadillac
- 4:47Speaker 2: escalades over there on the New York side. Kathy Hoche
- 4:50Speaker 2: won't let you. They're driving twenty five year old, rushed
- 4:53Speaker 2: out pickup trucks. We're losing the tax revenue, we're losing
- 4:56Speaker 2: the supply. And crazy enough, this is how hypocritical is
- 5:02Speaker 2: She's buying the natural gas from the same reserve, but
- 5:05Speaker 2: from the Pennsylvania side, so she can tell all her
- 5:08Speaker 2: lefty friends that she's green. But she's not green. It's
- 5:12Speaker 2: a big subterfuge. So I will open up that Marcella schale.
- 5:18Speaker 2: That supply will dramatically bring down electric bill costs. And
- 5:22Speaker 2: by the way, she wants to go all electric. She
- 5:25Speaker 2: wants to take your gas stove away from you. I mean,
- 5:29Speaker 2: this has gotten so ridiculous, it's completely bizarre. We need
- 5:34Speaker 2: to stop it. We need to get back to common sense.
- 5:37Speaker 2: And you know, Mark, one of the things that's really
- 5:39Speaker 2: encouraging to me. Every single day I have Democrats coming
- 5:44Speaker 2: up to me and saying, I've never voted, I've never
- 5:47Speaker 2: voted Republican before. I'm a lifelong Democrat. I'm voting for you.
- 5:50Speaker 2: My party has gotten too weird. And you're a common
- 5:53Speaker 2: sense guy. You've done a good job in Nassau County.
- 5:57Speaker 2: So I'm going to put my trust in you. That
- 5:58Speaker 2: is very gratified.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot com. You can donate
- 6:03Speaker 1: or help or Blakemanfromnewyork dot com. The budget in New
- 6:07Speaker 1: York is like two hundred and seventy five billion a year.
- 6:10Speaker 2: What should it be, Well, it's twice the size of
- 6:14Speaker 2: the state of Florida and they got four million more people.
- 6:18Speaker 2: So you know, I was down in Florida a couple
- 6:21Speaker 2: of times this year because I have family down there,
- 6:25Speaker 2: and their government seems to be running very very well
- 6:28Speaker 2: on half the money that New York spends. So you know,
- 6:32Speaker 2: there's a tremendous amount of fraud, waste, and abuse. And
- 6:35Speaker 2: in Florida they don't spend eight and a half billion
- 6:38Speaker 2: dollars a taxpayer money like Kathy Hopel's doing on illegal migrants.
- 6:42Speaker 2: All you have to do is arrive in New York State.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You get free housing, free transportation, free food, and a
- 6:47Speaker 2: free cell phone and you're not even in New Yorker.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That's our taxpayer dollars. That ends when I become governor.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'm not going to let that happen. We're going to
- 6:56Speaker 2: invest in New York. We're going to cut taxes, cut
- 6:59Speaker 2: you toity bills, and invest in good jobs and good
- 7:02Speaker 2: benefits for our young people so they don't leave here.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Hey, I know you do all the right stuff, but
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't you have a crazy left wing legislature. They'll try
- 7:12Speaker 1: to stop you. What do you do about that?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Well, you know what. First of all, we got to elect
- 7:17Speaker 2: more Republicans in the Senate, in the Assembly, and in
- 7:20Speaker 2: the House of Representatives, so you know this is a
- 7:23Speaker 2: team effort. We need a Republican Attorney General, Cerisa Comaretti,
- 7:28Speaker 2: Joe Hernandez great guy for Controller. We need a complete
- 7:33Speaker 2: change from top to bottom. But if there is a
- 7:35Speaker 2: Democrat majority in the Assembly and the Senate, which there
- 7:40Speaker 2: might be, that probably will be. All I can say
- 7:44Speaker 2: is it's a negotiation process. The governor has tremendous powers,
- 7:48Speaker 2: and I will negotiate and bargain with them. They'll get
- 7:52Speaker 2: some of the things they need, but I'll get what
- 7:54Speaker 2: I need to put this state out of its depth
- 7:56Speaker 2: fil and put it on the right track. We've got
- 7:59Speaker 2: to We've got to change cashless bail. It's a revolving door.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Of criminality. We've got to end the sanctuary state status
- 8:07Speaker 2: and stop spending eight and a half billion dollars on
- 8:10Speaker 2: illegal migrants, and we've got to lower electric bills. Those
- 8:14Speaker 2: are priorities now.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Hey, and if Mayor Mom Donnie starts doing some crazy stuff,
- 8:18Speaker 1: what can a governor actually do to stop that?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Well, I have tremendous power over the budget, and you know,
- 8:26Speaker 2: if he wants money to run his city, he's going
- 8:29Speaker 2: to have to make sure that he behaves himself and
- 8:32Speaker 2: doesn't ruin the economy of New York, doesn't overtax people,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and doesn't allow criminality and anti Semitism to be running rampant.
- 8:42Speaker 2: The latest thing he's done is he put out a
- 8:46Speaker 2: map about the various ethnic neighborhoods in the city of
- 8:51Speaker 2: New York and left out both little Italyes, he's got
- 8:55Speaker 2: Little Palestine in two places, but he left out Little
- 8:58Speaker 2: Italy in Lower Manhattan and Little Italy in the Bronx
- 9:02Speaker 2: on Arthur Avenue. And I think that's intentional, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 2: just like when he gave the finger to Christopher Columbus.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just crazy. Hey, we're running out of time.
- 9:12Speaker 1: We know how much time left, but just some people
- 9:14Speaker 1: think the governor can remove the mayor. It's not that simple,
- 9:17Speaker 1: is it.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Well, yeah, the governor can remove the mayor, but you
- 9:22Speaker 2: know he's a duly elected official, so that is a
- 9:25Speaker 2: drastic remedy. He would have to do something that was
- 9:28Speaker 2: very egregious or illegal, and look, I would do it
- 9:34Speaker 2: if he did something of that magnitude. But I'm hoping
- 9:38Speaker 2: that he modifies his behavior when I become governor, and
- 9:42Speaker 2: I will insist that he modifies his behavior because what
- 9:45Speaker 2: he's doing now is destroying the economy of New York City.
- 9:49Speaker 2: He's competing with local private businesses and places like the
- 9:53Speaker 2: Bronx with these stupid grocery stores he wants to open up.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And his regulations rules with respect to housing have created
- 10:02Speaker 2: the housing shortage that we now have. So we need
- 10:06Speaker 2: him to modify his behavior. MIA's governor. I'll make sure
- 10:09Speaker 2: that happens.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Well that's great. Hey, everybody, I know you want Bruce
- 10:12Speaker 1: Blakeman to win. I know you hope you but more
- 10:15Speaker 1: than hope, you got to do something. So go to
- 10:17Speaker 1: Blakemanfornewyork dot com, make a contribution, volunteer, whatever you can do,
- 10:23Speaker 1: but do something. Go to blakemanfor New York dot Com.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Blakeman for New York dot Com. Bruce Blakeman, we're pushing
- 10:29Speaker 1: for you, We're pulling for you. Thanks for everything.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Thank you so much. Mark. We'll get there and have
- 10:35Speaker 2: a great weekend. May God bless you and may God
- 10:37Speaker 2: bless America.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Thanks all right, take care, Yeah, make sure you help out.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Go to blakemanfor neew York dot Com. He could actually
- 10:44Speaker 1: start to turn this all around, save the state. You know,
- 10:47Speaker 1: that's what it takes. Like it turns the tide, then
- 10:50Speaker 1: you get more Republicans start getting elected. And that doesn't
- 10:53Speaker 1: matter Republican or we just want common sense people like
- 10:56Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman. Hey, don't forget. At noon today Buck Clay
- 11:00Speaker 1: with a great show. And you know you can hear
- 11:03Speaker 1: Curtis now, Curtis Sliwa is here every weekday morning. It's
- 11:07Speaker 1: Curtis Leiwa Larry Mente six to ten every weekday on
