- 0:08Speaker 1: for the Pittsburgh Series just before the buy the Baltimore
- 0:11Speaker 1: Ravens coming up on the Irish Series podcast. We're gonna
- 0:13Speaker 1: look ahead of that, but first we're gonna welcome a
- 0:16Speaker 1: great guest in this week. First off, Michael mcgre Jimmy English,
- 0:19Speaker 1: Steve McKee, Jimmy, good to see you mans. Hard to
- 0:22Speaker 1: believe the Bio Wicks next week.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Yeah, this season is flying, Michael. It's it's crazy to
- 0:27Speaker 2: think that we're in well coming into week four and
- 0:30Speaker 2: now already it's God, the games have flown by, and
- 0:34Speaker 2: you know, it's it's maybe not going the way exactly
- 0:37Speaker 2: we would like it to go, but we're you know,
- 0:39Speaker 2: it's great having football back. And look, just we have
- 0:42Speaker 2: to enjoy these these fleeting moments while we have them,
- 0:45Speaker 2: because before you know, we've been in the middle of
- 0:47Speaker 2: November and football will.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Be on the wrong side of the wrong side of
- 0:51Speaker 3: Christmas and we'll be.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Cutting down towards the playoffs and look, yeah, not great
- 0:55Speaker 2: to be here chatting stears football with you guys.
- 0:59Speaker 1: We will our guests and just the way Sack and
- 1:01Speaker 1: first off day as good as he as well, and
- 1:03Speaker 1: it was great deal of the year, not just not
- 1:05Speaker 1: just to see Steelers fans in Dublin Airport and Sunday
- 1:08Speaker 1: before the Wembley game, but also like people just talking
- 1:10Speaker 1: about the podcast and the meat party next month. There's
- 1:13Speaker 1: a real buzz in Irlan at the minute for the
- 1:15Speaker 1: Staeters and they were mentioning that lovely lad from Trone
- 1:19Speaker 1: and that lad from Drahada with his great Dulson tones
- 1:22Speaker 1: as well on the podcast.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Plays I don't know what's lovely odd from Tron they
- 1:25Speaker 4: were talking about. They were talking about me, are you.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I'm not sure, but yeah, no, as you said, Michael,
- 1:31Speaker 4: it's it's it's nearly coming up to November now shortly,
- 1:36Speaker 4: so as Jimmy said, it hasn't been the perfect start
- 1:40Speaker 4: of this season, but you know what, it's just good
- 1:41Speaker 4: to have some Staeus football back and obviously you can
- 1:44Speaker 4: keep an eye on around the rest of the league
- 1:46Speaker 4: as well. So yeah, good to be here and excited
- 1:49Speaker 4: to talk some more Stadars a few guess.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Absolutely, and we will go into that Ravens game and
- 1:54Speaker 1: probably take a look around the North as well at
- 1:56Speaker 1: some point just after our interview. Delighted to welcome into
- 1:59Speaker 1: the podcast this week you mess he her on Sky
- 2:02Speaker 1: Sports NFL in both Ireland and the UKF throughout the season.
- 2:05Speaker 1: But more so than that, our guest, a playasant bit
- 2:08Speaker 1: of football, has coached, has done so much stuff. I
- 2:11Speaker 1: literally could rhyme off a CV fifteen pages longuzn't a
- 2:14Speaker 1: hot Phoebe ch Actor on the Irish Theaters podcast, Phoebe
- 2:17Speaker 1: faultsa welcome, how you do?
- 2:19Speaker 5: Thank you so much for having I'm so excited. I
- 2:22Speaker 5: feel like I'm properly part of the Steelers nation now
- 2:26Speaker 5: from whether being there watch you guys every week now
- 2:29Speaker 5: on the podcast, it's pretty much and being in Ireland,
- 2:32Speaker 5: so I mean, come on, it's like my home away
- 2:34Speaker 5: from home.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It seems like I have to say I love I
- 2:38Speaker 1: love that home away from home. And you were in Limerick,
- 2:40Speaker 1: which seems like a lifetime going on in August whenever
- 2:42Speaker 1: gb won the female version of the European Flag Football Championship,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think Germany won the men's a massive comperhaps to you.
- 2:49Speaker 1: We've seen the Stars provided the Irish male and female
- 2:53Speaker 1: teams with some staters Gere, which is awesome and that
- 2:56Speaker 1: was a great weekend, Phoebe. I mean just generally there
- 2:58Speaker 1: was a lot of staters. I'ms there on the Sunday
- 3:01Speaker 1: as well. Did you enjoy your weekend in Limbrick?
- 3:04Speaker 5: I absolutely loved it. I mean I think I didn't
- 3:06Speaker 5: move for like a week afterwards were coming to Dublin.
- 3:08Speaker 5: I think I just slept. But it was such a
- 3:11Speaker 5: great experience and the way that the you know, American
- 3:15Speaker 5: Football Ireland put on such a huge event the University
- 3:18Speaker 5: of Limerick is beautiful. I mean I got all my
- 3:20Speaker 5: meals like massive plates every day, so I can't complain
- 3:24Speaker 5: and I love to eat, so you know, honestly, it
- 3:26Speaker 5: was great. The competition was terrific. I couldn't have asked
- 3:29Speaker 5: for more. And there's only one really like typically rainy
- 3:33Speaker 5: summer Limerick day, So life is good.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Abe.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Can you talk to us a little bit about you know,
- 3:42Speaker 2: your background in American football obviously as Nick Manchin, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 2: you play a little bit of flag football, You've coached
- 3:48Speaker 2: the Buffalo Bills, and now you're you know, you're involved
- 3:51Speaker 2: in the amazing coverage being provided on Sky Sports NFL.
- 3:54Speaker 3: So look, just tell us about your journey to to
- 3:57Speaker 3: this point.
- 3:57Speaker 5: I guess yeah, I'm I mean, it really is the
- 4:02Speaker 5: most ridiculous, crazy rollercoaster of a journey, you know, just
- 4:07Speaker 5: I'll try and keep it brief. I mean, I moved
- 4:09Speaker 5: to England. It'd be eleven years in December. Despite having
- 4:13Speaker 5: an American accent. I have dualism ships, so my mom's
- 4:16Speaker 5: British but she lives in the States. So I moved
- 4:19Speaker 5: over here and originally moved for horses, but was looking
- 4:23Speaker 5: for a way to meet people. And that's how I
- 4:25Speaker 5: found American football up in Manchester, and I deveritely contact sport.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I didn't really follow it at all, just because horses
- 4:33Speaker 5: are twenty four to seven, and once I went and played,
- 4:37Speaker 5: I absolutely fell in love with it, and from there
- 4:39Speaker 5: I thought I want to get into coaching, so you know,
- 4:42Speaker 5: it was a way to kind of give back to
- 4:43Speaker 5: a sport that gave me so much. And then my
- 4:46Speaker 5: coaching journey just kind of took off because I went
- 4:48Speaker 5: from coaching youth to our adult teams over here and
- 4:53Speaker 5: then made it through the Bill Washed Diversity Fellowship and
- 4:57Speaker 5: ended up with the Buffalo Bills the first camp with
- 5:00Speaker 5: them in twenty seventeen, then twenty eighteen twenty nineteen season,
- 5:05Speaker 5: came back coach out in Germany for a bit coach
- 5:07Speaker 5: our GB teams here, and then it was pretty much
- 5:11Speaker 5: during COVID and Lockdown that I ended up working with
- 5:14Speaker 5: Sky because everything was being filled remote similar to how
- 5:17Speaker 5: we're doing it now, and they were just looking for
- 5:19Speaker 5: an extra guest and had heard about me and what
- 5:22Speaker 5: I was doing and did one episode and then it
- 5:25Speaker 5: really kind of all tipped over when our lovely host
- 5:28Speaker 5: Neil Reynolds got COVID and they were like, and this
- 5:31Speaker 5: is what we're back in studio and they thought we
- 5:33Speaker 5: need to have somebody who's going to do this, So
- 5:35Speaker 5: myself and Hannah Wilkes got the call up. You know,
- 5:38Speaker 5: always stay ready, they say, and we didn't ruin it.
- 5:42Speaker 2: We didn't.
- 5:42Speaker 5: We didn't mess up too badly. So they've asked me
- 5:45Speaker 5: back and now I'm, you know, very fortunate to be
- 5:48Speaker 5: part of the skuy Sports team with Neil and Jason
- 5:51Speaker 5: Bell and all of our amazing guests. I made the
- 5:54Speaker 5: moment we have and dominking Zou, who was just you know,
- 5:57Speaker 5: an incredible human. So yeah, this has gone from not
- 6:02Speaker 5: wanting to play, to not wanting to coach, to not
- 6:04Speaker 5: want to do broadcasting. But somehow it's just happening.
- 6:10Speaker 4: You know, obviously maybe you know you work as Jimmy
- 6:13Speaker 4: and I matchine they're on your south. You imagine working
- 6:15Speaker 4: with the Buffalo Bills, you know, other great historical franchise,
- 6:18Speaker 4: maybe at the opposite spectrum. I feel like, you know,
- 6:20Speaker 4: the Steelers they are known for great defenses, the Bills
- 6:23Speaker 4: are maybe known for great offenses. I'm just wondering, obviously
- 6:26Speaker 4: from a like a Buffalo Bill's point of view, what
- 6:28Speaker 4: sort of perception would you have on the Steelers, Like,
- 6:31Speaker 4: because obviously with the Staelers being a large organization in sports,
- 6:34Speaker 4: I'm just wondering what sort of perception you would have
- 6:36Speaker 4: on us.
- 6:37Speaker 3: You know.
- 6:38Speaker 5: I think what's really cool about the Steelers and it
- 6:42Speaker 5: is just the the history that comes along with it.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I think we have kind of similar fan bases in
- 6:48Speaker 5: the sense that they're kind of that blue collar, work
- 6:50Speaker 5: hard you know, they're passionate about their sports. The weather
- 6:57Speaker 5: is not always great, so you have to be a
- 6:58Speaker 5: bit different to be out there in the middle of winter,
- 7:01Speaker 5: you know, especially you know, the stadium is right off
- 7:04Speaker 5: the water, right so it's it is not easy climate
- 7:07Speaker 5: for anybody. So for the fans who are so passionate
- 7:10Speaker 5: to be out there. They you know, they work so
- 7:13Speaker 5: hard to be able to afford these tickets. And I
- 7:16Speaker 5: think you look at just again the history right having
- 7:19Speaker 5: Mike Tom I mean, that's that's incredible. How many years
- 7:22Speaker 5: sixteen years with the Steelers franchise and before that, they've
- 7:25Speaker 5: just had a history of consistency with head coaches and
- 7:28Speaker 5: great leadership, and I think that's really important. I think
- 7:32Speaker 5: that says a lot about an organization, and especially a
- 7:34Speaker 5: sports organization in today's day and age, where everything seems
- 7:40Speaker 5: so easily kind of thrown out or changed, but they
- 7:43Speaker 5: really stick true and believe to their believe in their values.
- 7:47Speaker 1: One of the best things but working on sky Sports
- 7:49Speaker 1: on a blaphoebe is the fact that you get to
- 7:50Speaker 1: see a lot of the games in time when you
- 7:53Speaker 1: get to see a lot of auction And what did
- 7:55Speaker 1: you make of the Steelers last year, but especially Kenny
- 7:57Speaker 1: Pickett in this first year in Elague?
- 8:00Speaker 5: You know, I think from the moment that Kenny Pickett
- 8:02Speaker 5: took over, it was I mean, he's just incredible, right
- 8:06Speaker 5: like as a young man coming into the building and
- 8:08Speaker 5: I think what was what was kind of cool when
- 8:11Speaker 5: being in Pittsburgh. We were with the walking distance of
- 8:15Speaker 5: the Steelers facility in terms of training facility, and just
- 8:18Speaker 5: even realizing that like the Steelers facility of the Pit
- 8:21Speaker 5: facility are literally like one in the same essentially. So
- 8:25Speaker 5: they got to watch Kenny Pickett kind of from a
- 8:27Speaker 5: distance but very close for a while, and they understood
- 8:31Speaker 5: what his opportunities were. And from the moment that he
- 8:33Speaker 5: took over, you know, when the injury happened and he
- 8:36Speaker 5: took over, I think of the week four or five,
- 8:38Speaker 5: I mean, he just handled himself so well, and he
- 8:41Speaker 5: had such a great relationship with his receivers, and I think,
- 8:44Speaker 5: you know, he's got so much potential. We saw him
- 8:46Speaker 5: when he was playing in college. I mean, he was
- 8:48Speaker 5: famous for his almost slide and then was able to
- 8:51Speaker 5: keep I mean, you know, he changed rules in college
- 8:54Speaker 5: essentially because of his athleticism, and so, you know, to
- 8:57Speaker 5: see him kind of grow and develop, and I think
- 9:02Speaker 5: it's just been really it's been really really impressive to
- 9:04Speaker 5: watch him over the years, and it's it's being honest,
- 9:07Speaker 5: it's such a shame for him to have an injury
- 9:10Speaker 5: right now, and you know, watching him last weekend, I
- 9:12Speaker 5: think all of us just thought all like, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 5: wishing all the best and hope that it's a really
- 9:17Speaker 5: speedy recovery.
- 9:20Speaker 2: You have the opportunity maybe to travel to Pittsburgh for
- 9:22Speaker 2: a week one. I know from you know, being back
- 9:26Speaker 2: here and watching yourself and Nil and sky Sports, the
- 9:28Speaker 2: atmosphere seemed incredible. I know at one point you guys
- 9:31Speaker 2: could even hear yourselves talking. So tell us a little
- 9:35Speaker 2: bit about your trip and getting to meet some of
- 9:37Speaker 2: the staters, including out Rooney.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that trip was phenomenal. I don't think
- 9:44Speaker 5: I've ever been with an organization and I know that,
- 9:47Speaker 5: you know, Neil and Sky tested the same thing that
- 9:50Speaker 5: were so welcoming and open doors and the way that
- 9:54Speaker 5: they made us feel such a part of the community.
- 9:57Speaker 5: You know, from the moment we got there, you know,
- 9:59Speaker 5: I had the absolute honor of being able to interview
- 10:03Speaker 5: Art Rooney. Second, I mean nobody, not many people get
- 10:06Speaker 5: that opportunity, and for him to come and sit down
- 10:09Speaker 5: and speak with us for a little bit and share
- 10:12Speaker 5: his love for the game and the history of the
- 10:14Speaker 5: Rooney family and obviously Ireland. It's just it was it
- 10:19Speaker 5: was very humbling and I felt really privileged to kind
- 10:21Speaker 5: of be in the same space as him. And you know,
- 10:24Speaker 5: then after that, having having Dan Rooney showing us around
- 10:29Speaker 5: the Steelers Museum. I mean that that is brand new
- 10:32Speaker 5: in the past year, I think, he said, and to
- 10:35Speaker 5: kind of you watch this video at first, which just
- 10:38Speaker 5: kind of gives you goosebumps, and from there you travel
- 10:42Speaker 5: through this kind of classic like Times Stopped, and it just,
- 10:48Speaker 5: you know, it reminds you of how much depth and
- 10:50Speaker 5: history there is the Steelers from this, you know, the
- 10:53Speaker 5: Steel Curtain and the incredible players they've had over the years,
- 10:56Speaker 5: and you know, you really feel like you're part of
- 10:59Speaker 5: that community. And I can imagine for fans and people
- 11:02Speaker 5: from Pittsburgh, like what an honor it is to have
- 11:04Speaker 5: that right there, you know, from playing you go in
- 11:09Speaker 5: the in a booth and play called the Antonio Holmes
- 11:12Speaker 5: Catch in the end Zough and you know, there's just
- 11:14Speaker 5: so much really cool stuff about it. And I feel
- 11:16Speaker 5: bad I should be wearing my Steelers jersey. They gave
- 11:19Speaker 5: me an amazing little Steelers jersey with my name on it,
- 11:22Speaker 5: and you know, I mean it's just like the most
- 11:24Speaker 5: giving family, you know, and Dan Rudy spent a lot
- 11:27Speaker 5: of time with us, and then then you get to
- 11:29Speaker 5: the game itself and it's wow, Like that stadium is incredible,
- 11:33Speaker 5: The views are incredible, the yellow seats they're just you know,
- 11:37Speaker 5: they light up the space. And I think it was
- 11:39Speaker 5: even crazy to watch they had a pit game the
- 11:42Speaker 5: night before, how they transformed that entire stadium from college
- 11:46Speaker 5: football to NFL. You know, thinking about the hashes on
- 11:49Speaker 5: the floor, those are different. It's just all these things
- 11:52Speaker 5: that go into an NFL team that you just don't
- 11:54Speaker 5: ever think about. And they gave us, you know, tours
- 11:57Speaker 5: and first hand experience and give us all of their
- 11:59Speaker 5: time when they were hosting their first home game in years,
- 12:04Speaker 5: I mean in nine years, that's it. That's insane.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and you know you mentioned that interview as well.
- 12:10Speaker 4: It was it was obviously a great pace put together
- 12:11Speaker 4: by s guy and obviously it shows you know that
- 12:14Speaker 4: the seriousness they're taken into. You know, happened Sedar Sans
- 12:17Speaker 4: on the island and but obviously you imagined there. You
- 12:20Speaker 4: actually received a jersey as well, which is cool. Can
- 12:22Speaker 4: you sort of delve into it as well about the
- 12:24Speaker 4: terror of the facility with like what was that actually like,
- 12:26Speaker 4: so like did you see many like, obviously, did you
- 12:29Speaker 4: get to watch that much practice? Did you get to
- 12:31Speaker 4: just can you sort of just delve into.
- 12:33Speaker 5: That a bit more, Yeah, of course. I mean so
- 12:35Speaker 5: when we got to the sports facility, it was the
- 12:38Speaker 5: guys were just going out to their walkthroughs at their
- 12:42Speaker 5: home facilities. So you know, we didn't really get to
- 12:44Speaker 5: do much of that, especially the day before a game.
- 12:47Speaker 5: You know, people are pretty private about that sort of thing.
- 12:50Speaker 5: But I mean we went on the field, We went
- 12:52Speaker 5: through all the inner workings of the stadium, and you know,
- 12:56Speaker 5: that's in its own right incredible, Like how they make
- 12:59Speaker 5: a game day work is just insane. Taking us through
- 13:05Speaker 5: the like literally walking around and seeing all the incredible
- 13:09Speaker 5: statues Art Rooney Statue, and you know, things that you
- 13:12Speaker 5: see that are history, like the Immaculate Reception they have.
- 13:16Speaker 5: They have a statue there. You know, it doesn't it
- 13:18Speaker 5: doesn't stop. It's it's everywhere you look, you see a
- 13:22Speaker 5: piece of that history. You feel like you're a part
- 13:25Speaker 5: of it because they make you feel like you're a
- 13:27Speaker 5: part of it. Going back to the they had the
- 13:31Speaker 5: big Heinz bottle from back of day what used to
- 13:33Speaker 5: be called Hines Field. You know, it's just like all
- 13:36Speaker 5: these things that you see and read about and and
- 13:40Speaker 5: you know, it just was. It was a very cool experience.
- 13:43Speaker 5: And again just to be a part of that all
- 13:45Speaker 5: and and feel so welcomed when they really didn't have
- 13:49Speaker 5: to do any of that was really quite special and
- 13:52Speaker 5: just a testament to the.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Team, I think, Phoebe, honestly, we're not just saying this
- 13:57Speaker 1: because it's an Irish Hitters podcast. Props the sky like
- 14:00Speaker 1: I was in the bar watching and the whole barber
- 14:02Speaker 1: and Kui whenever you're talking about art and that I
- 14:03Speaker 1: think for a lot of people here, regardless of who
- 14:06Speaker 1: they support, it genuinely meant an awful lot to them
- 14:08Speaker 1: to see. I guess maybe somewhere closer to home we
- 14:11Speaker 1: talked about like this, especially when it's such a big week.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It's Week one, so it was it was actually special
- 14:15Speaker 1: and I think he's all done a great job. And
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm gled to believe the spot that you were sunned
- 14:20Speaker 1: and in the stadium is the Steelers said to us
- 14:24Speaker 1: that there's been no broadcast on there before, so obviously
- 14:28Speaker 1: he's m most feel very special. But as Jimmy said
- 14:30Speaker 1: there as well, the atmosphere was electric as well, so
- 14:33Speaker 1: it must have been an amazing experience.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it was so cool. I mean our view was perfect, right,
- 14:39Speaker 5: you could see absolutely everything. I think it was. You know,
- 14:44Speaker 5: I'm always hungry, so I was right here the food,
- 14:46Speaker 5: so you just get that lot of like amazing barbecue
- 14:49Speaker 5: every now and then. But the crowds walking by you
- 14:53Speaker 5: feel like you're a part of it. They're feeling like
- 14:55Speaker 5: they're watching a live show. And then of course you
- 14:58Speaker 5: bring in our amazing guests and then all of a sudden,
- 15:02Speaker 5: it's just black and yellow surrounding you because everyone just loves,
- 15:07Speaker 5: you know, our our incredible guests at the time. And yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 5: the view was perfect everything, like we could not ask
- 15:14Speaker 5: for anymore. And again, like they were just so they
- 15:18Speaker 5: they've bent over backwards for us.
- 15:20Speaker 2: So tee. One of the one of those guests that
- 15:23Speaker 2: you did have on the Sky Sports broadcast was former
- 15:26Speaker 2: player Max Stark's, you know, two time Super Bowl winner
- 15:29Speaker 2: who's now part of the Sideline and the Theaters Radio
- 15:32Speaker 2: Sideline broadcast.
- 15:34Speaker 3: What was like to meet Max in person? You know,
- 15:37Speaker 3: I say that was pretty pretty cool.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Yeah, and it was great because the day before we
- 15:42Speaker 5: had seen him in terms of his like outline in
- 15:46Speaker 5: the museum, so you could compare your wings span to
- 15:51Speaker 5: his wingspan and his height because he's known for having
- 15:53Speaker 5: also the largest feet in the NFL. So you know,
- 15:59Speaker 5: to be able to kind of had that fun and
- 16:01Speaker 5: then be with him the next day and I need
- 16:03Speaker 5: to get a box next time for someone that's all.
- 16:06Speaker 5: But he was. He was wonderful and someone who's really
- 16:09Speaker 5: transformed his career. I mean, obviously an amazing player, but
- 16:13Speaker 5: now to be able to give back to the people.
- 16:16Speaker 5: I know, he was so passionate about what he's doing
- 16:19Speaker 5: with the Stealers Radio and how he's able to still
- 16:23Speaker 5: interact with fans and and honestly, he was our first
- 16:26Speaker 5: guest and when he came up, the amount of people
- 16:29Speaker 5: that just went nuts for him and calling his name,
- 16:32Speaker 5: and you know, he's so identifiable as well. He's really
- 16:36Speaker 5: just done such a great job and didn't be able
- 16:40Speaker 5: to speak to someone who's played in that stadium, who's
- 16:43Speaker 5: played you know under Tomlins, had all these great experiences,
- 16:46Speaker 5: and for them to share that with you, like is
- 16:50Speaker 5: really quite special because you don't get very many opportunities
- 16:54Speaker 5: to get that like firsthand experience of somebody.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Yeah, just even speaking to Max last week, and you
- 17:00Speaker 4: know it was actually just a sort of a pinch
- 17:03Speaker 4: me moment. You know, obviously Steeler's legend and stuff, so
- 17:06Speaker 4: it was great obviously hear some of his stories. But
- 17:08Speaker 4: you mentioned there as well about the funds and obviously,
- 17:11Speaker 4: as you know, some of the most passionate and you know,
- 17:14Speaker 4: truth loyal funds in the NFL. Even though the result
- 17:18Speaker 4: didn't go aus to plant, you know that the forty
- 17:21Speaker 4: nine ers came and the sort of you know that
- 17:23Speaker 4: sort of beat the bricks office if you're like, but
- 17:26Speaker 4: I just want to know how the day was overall,
- 17:28Speaker 4: even though maybe you may have lost, but was at
- 17:30Speaker 4: the least you know, you get something you could take
- 17:33Speaker 4: back and say, wow, that was that was a great experience.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I think it first starts off with literally,
- 17:39Speaker 5: like you guys said, the noise. I mean, I've not
- 17:42Speaker 5: been a part of something where we could barely hear
- 17:45Speaker 5: each other. We were stood next to each other, and
- 17:47Speaker 5: it almost reverberates through the ground and you could feel
- 17:52Speaker 5: the hope and excitement and seeing those terrible towels. And
- 17:56Speaker 5: then when San Antonio Holmes came and joined us and
- 17:59Speaker 5: he started waving his terrible towel. It's like it was
- 18:02Speaker 5: like a calling. I felt like I was in like
- 18:04Speaker 5: the lion king, and the towel was like the little baby.
- 18:08Speaker 5: And everyone's just like waving their towels like crazy. I
- 18:10Speaker 5: mean you literally, like when you talk about feeling the
- 18:14Speaker 5: passionate fan that is that is literally the epitome of it,
- 18:17Speaker 5: because they are they're so dedicated and they are just
- 18:22Speaker 5: they they love being there. You know, the screaming and
- 18:25Speaker 5: excitement and you know, everyone's just like on edge the
- 18:29Speaker 5: whole time. And I think that's probably, you know, something
- 18:33Speaker 5: I'll remember, I'll remember forever. I mean the moth, on
- 18:37Speaker 5: the other hand, I have to say it's the only
- 18:39Speaker 5: kind think about our experience with these moths that kept.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Attacking interesting interesting, Oh yeah, yes, and they be like
- 18:51Speaker 1: obviously you know. One of the great things about the
- 18:54Speaker 1: global market scheme at the minute, and we've seen over
- 18:56Speaker 1: the last couple of years in the UK especially is
- 18:59Speaker 1: the chims to grow sort of fun development in the
- 19:01Speaker 1: league and like even seeing stuff like that different teams
- 19:05Speaker 1: in the League of done last year, like Chicago Bears
- 19:07Speaker 1: the forty nine ers with fan parties, and we've seen
- 19:10Speaker 1: something that I don't think any team is done in
- 19:13Speaker 1: Europe anyway, since this is launched a watch party of
- 19:17Speaker 1: its size in the stadium, and this fan party is
- 19:20Speaker 1: going to take place in November at in Crok Park
- 19:23Speaker 1: and it's sold out in twenty four hours. I was
- 19:26Speaker 1: telling your colleague at SkySports, Cameron Hogwood, on Sunday, and
- 19:29Speaker 1: he needs to find a way to get there. It'd
- 19:31Speaker 1: be awesome to have sky there in some way. Just
- 19:35Speaker 1: what's your faults in this whole compitment of Ireland. How
- 19:37Speaker 1: awesome would be to have a game there, because I
- 19:38Speaker 1: know how specially you thought Germany was. I genuinely think
- 19:41Speaker 1: and I know I'm sure these boys would agree, and
- 19:43Speaker 1: people in Ireland would agree, Phoebe. I think Dublin hypothetically,
- 19:47Speaker 1: of course, at some point in the future with top it.
- 19:51Speaker 5: I think the crowd would be incredible, right. I think
- 19:56Speaker 5: there's no doubt in my mind about how the fans
- 19:59Speaker 5: would show up and show out for any sort of
- 20:02Speaker 5: NFL game. And you know, we did hear mister Rooney
- 20:05Speaker 5: say that potentially we'll have an in season game over there.
- 20:11Speaker 5: You know, even just my opportunity being at the aer
- 20:14Speaker 5: Lingus College Football Classic. You know with Notre Dame that
- 20:17Speaker 5: atmosphere was incredible as well, right, so we know the
- 20:21Speaker 5: fans have that and they're excited about it. I was
- 20:25Speaker 5: with I was with Dan Rudy when they were talking
- 20:27Speaker 5: about how the events sold out, and I think they
- 20:31Speaker 5: were just they couldn't believe it themselves. And I think
- 20:34Speaker 5: it just goes to show how much passion there is
- 20:37Speaker 5: for this sport within Ireland. And you know, there's a
- 20:41Speaker 5: lot of opportunity, and there's a lot of people that
- 20:43Speaker 5: deserve the opportunity to to not only just become a fan,
- 20:47Speaker 5: but you know, go play football, whether it's tackle or flag,
- 20:51Speaker 5: or officiate or coach. You know, there's so many avenues
- 20:53Speaker 5: and I think just by more and more exposure, you're
- 20:56Speaker 5: going to just find more and more people who fall
- 20:58Speaker 5: in love with this terrific sport.
- 21:02Speaker 2: And you give us your thoughts on the season so
- 21:04Speaker 2: far from the Steers Phoebe And obviously you know there's
- 21:07Speaker 2: been opes on downs and maybe it hasn't quite gone
- 21:11Speaker 2: as you know the team itself on fans might have
- 21:14Speaker 2: might have might like.
- 21:15Speaker 3: So we'd love to hear your thoughts.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Yeah, you know what, there's been some really great splashes, right.
- 21:24Speaker 5: I mean, the the picket Pickens kind of relationship is
- 21:27Speaker 5: still strong, which you love to see. I think, you know,
- 21:32Speaker 5: you still have the consistency of of a terrific head coach.
- 21:35Speaker 5: You've got someone who's got a history of winning and
- 21:38Speaker 5: knows what it takes to win. And you know, everyone
- 21:40Speaker 5: understands what that standard is. And I think everyone knows that.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Perhaps you know, we're not always playing to our standard,
- 21:46Speaker 5: but it's clear where we need to go, right. I
- 21:50Speaker 5: think the defense has been a shining light as well.
- 21:52Speaker 5: I mean, Fitzpatrick's been incredible, you know, picked by Lee
- 21:56Speaker 5: by Wallace only the other week, So you've got a couple's
- 22:00Speaker 5: great players setting up. I mean, but I think ultimately,
- 22:02Speaker 5: like you look at the defense and you look at TJ. Watt,
- 22:05Speaker 5: who right now is probably arguably one of the best,
- 22:09Speaker 5: you know, defensive linemen in the league, and and you know,
- 22:12Speaker 5: you go back to what stands out to you actually
- 22:14Speaker 5: from that game when I was there, it was and
- 22:17Speaker 5: I've seen it since in multiple games. But it is
- 22:20Speaker 5: the power that TJ. Watt has on that team. And
- 22:23Speaker 5: and by that, I mean he knows when he needs to,
- 22:28Speaker 5: like he's always going a million miles an hour, but
- 22:30Speaker 5: he knows when he really needs to step up and
- 22:32Speaker 5: make that big play that that gets the rest of
- 22:34Speaker 5: the team lit up, and he becomes that kind of
- 22:37Speaker 5: heartbeat of the team and it's it's incredible to watch
- 22:40Speaker 5: because he does it in such a big way, in
- 22:42Speaker 5: such a kind of boisterous way, and it gets people. Again,
- 22:46Speaker 5: that gives you that hope because you know, all right,
- 22:48Speaker 5: you've got TJ. Watt and he can do incredible things.
- 22:51Speaker 5: And that's you know, through some of this time, especially
- 22:54Speaker 5: while you know hopefully now fingers crossed for Pickett, but
- 23:00Speaker 5: hopefully you know that you've got the defense you can
- 23:02Speaker 5: rely on who are gonna make big plays when when
- 23:05Speaker 5: you really need it. And again that comes down to
- 23:08Speaker 5: t J. Watt for me.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Yeah, just just finally, Phoebe. Obviously, this weekend is a
- 23:14Speaker 4: huge game, you know, against the Ravens. You know, it's
- 23:17Speaker 4: it's one of the best reveries in the NFL, if
- 23:19Speaker 4: not the most intense revery. So just obviously what you're
- 23:22Speaker 4: wondering about the matchup. Obviously we don't know whether pecking
- 23:25Speaker 4: or Peckett's gonna play a part of the injury at
- 23:28Speaker 4: his body as we first assumed. And I just wondering
- 23:30Speaker 4: how you think we match up with them again.
- 23:33Speaker 5: I think it probably goes back to defense, right. I mean,
- 23:35Speaker 5: you you've got to stop Lamar to we start to
- 23:37Speaker 5: start with, and he is a tough one to the
- 23:41Speaker 5: scheme against. But you can scheme against him, you know
- 23:44Speaker 5: if you you have that strong pass rush to contain him,
- 23:47Speaker 5: and then you've got your incredible linebacker over the middle
- 23:49Speaker 5: to really stuck on when he tries to run. I mean,
- 23:52Speaker 5: if you take away his run game, when you force
- 23:54Speaker 5: him to be a pass only quarterback, you know he
- 23:57Speaker 5: can at time make those mistakes. And I think it's
- 23:59Speaker 5: stally with the Ravens. You're hoping that they make a mistake.
- 24:03Speaker 5: But then as the Steelers, that's where you know you
- 24:07Speaker 5: have the opportunity to really capitalize. And remembering you've got
- 24:10Speaker 5: special teams, like you can definitely steal one on special teams.
- 24:14Speaker 5: So it's going to have to be a collective team
- 24:17Speaker 5: effort for this to happen, but it can absolutely happen.
- 24:20Speaker 5: I mean, the rivalry just get something different going in
- 24:23Speaker 5: your blood, right, Like the second you know you're playing
- 24:25Speaker 5: the Ravens, you just like get this fire in your
- 24:29Speaker 5: belly and it's going to be a battle. These two
- 24:31Speaker 5: teams are going to fight the entire way, and that's
- 24:36Speaker 5: what I love about it. Like this is like hard
- 24:39Speaker 5: nosed football, and Steelers like their mentality is one of
- 24:45Speaker 5: a kind. With again Tomlin at the head.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Of that, I have to say to you, I've loved
- 24:52Speaker 1: hearing about your experience in Pittsburgh. I'm also just hearing
- 24:55Speaker 1: about the faults so far as season, but certainly I'd
- 24:57Speaker 1: like to take this opportunity, not just mahal of these
- 25:00Speaker 1: guys here with the fans in Ireland, just to thank
- 25:02Speaker 1: you forever and you were doing to help grow the
- 25:04Speaker 1: game here and help grow the game overseas. So thank
- 25:06Speaker 1: you so much. I know it will this will be
- 25:08Speaker 1: the last time that we talked this season. I'm going
- 25:10Speaker 1: to be positive to say when the Steelers are in
- 25:12Speaker 1: the playoffs, but we'll bring you back on The game
- 25:14Speaker 1: will be on Sky as well. So started looking forward
- 25:17Speaker 1: to but obviously with you the very best over in
- 25:19Speaker 1: the next few weeks and months, says. The covers gets
- 25:21Speaker 1: better and better and I'm looking forward to seeing more
- 25:22Speaker 1: Staters football on Sky Sports. But for now Phoebe Shacktor,
- 25:25Speaker 1: thank you so much for coming on.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Thank you guys so much for having me.
- 25:32Speaker 1: That was great to hear with Phobe Shacktor and the
- 25:34Speaker 1: massive fall of Phoebe and you know, obviously she's doing
- 25:36Speaker 1: great work to promote the game here and great to
- 25:40Speaker 1: hear lads just over experience in Pittsburgh, Jimmy, first off,
- 25:43Speaker 1: great to hear from Phoebe, and man I just mentioned
- 25:47Speaker 1: for this team to get playing now just to you know,
- 25:49Speaker 1: right the wrongs this weekend.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think your bounce back is definitely needed, mixed
- 25:55Speaker 2: big time. We could see from the reaction in social
- 25:59Speaker 2: media well during the game, throughout the game, and indeed
- 26:02Speaker 2: in the immediate aftermat of the game that you know,
- 26:05Speaker 2: this is not the Steelers we were familiar with, and
- 26:08Speaker 2: a lot of things need to change if we're going
- 26:10Speaker 2: to have any hope of writing this ship, saving the
- 26:14Speaker 2: season and you know, achieving our goal of going to
- 26:18Speaker 2: going to Vegas in February.
- 26:19Speaker 3: So big, big things on needed. On Sunday against the Ravens.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I think you'll do it with Okay, look,
- 26:27Speaker 1: there's no point in going around that. Sunday was very disappointing.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You know that the one thing that we know about
- 26:32Speaker 1: the Steelers is there's high expectations, great in this excellents
- 26:36Speaker 1: every time they get on the field. And while Houston
- 26:39Speaker 1: had to be very Houston, they've had a very very
- 26:42Speaker 1: good start to the season by their standards and what
- 26:44Speaker 1: a lot of people thought. And I'd be very impressed
- 26:46Speaker 1: with how CJ. Stroude and Legal Collins and Tank Dalla
- 26:48Speaker 1: performed together on that offense. But for Pittsburgh to go
- 26:52Speaker 1: into Houston and only plus six points up on the board,
- 26:54Speaker 1: it's just it's it's not acceptable as fans, as analysts.
- 26:58Speaker 1: So you know we are obviously are you excited to
- 27:00Speaker 1: see how the team will respond this week? And I'll
- 27:02Speaker 1: tell you what, Dave, We'll talk about it in a minute.
- 27:04Speaker 1: But you couldn't ask for a bigger game to respond with.
- 27:07Speaker 1: This is a massive game this week, man, massive.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Yeah, as you saying like it's it's you don't you
- 27:13Speaker 4: don't really need it like a bag spack to come here,
- 27:16Speaker 4: because you know, if you're not motivated to play about
- 27:18Speaker 4: more Ravens, then you shouldn't be playing for the pest
- 27:20Speaker 4: Burgh Steelers. It's historically the best revelry in the NFL,
- 27:23Speaker 4: as we know, but just sort of to come back
- 27:26Speaker 4: and everything that Jimmy said, you know, to go to
- 27:28Speaker 4: IVY Houston and only put six points up, it's you know,
- 27:31Speaker 4: I wouldn't say I wouldn't say, I Barton. But at
- 27:33Speaker 4: the same time, it's like, you know, what are we
- 27:35Speaker 4: doing on the offensive side of the ball? You know,
- 27:37Speaker 4: as I said, you don't. We shouldn't be having to
- 27:39Speaker 4: motivate ourselves to play the Ravens. You know, We've got
- 27:41Speaker 4: a bus back and we've got to get a wind.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Hopefully we been going to the bay, you know, over
- 27:45Speaker 4: five hundred and find ourselves where we want to be.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Jimmy, if you're gonna say so, so, I'll jump in
- 27:50Speaker 1: very quickly. And I hear folks, Jimmy is is whether
- 27:54Speaker 1: in the storm he's got a cold at the minute,
- 27:55Speaker 1: still appreciate it, mon appreciate it. At the time of recording, Jimmy,
- 28:00Speaker 1: we like Kenny Pickets came out and said, and Kenny's
- 28:03Speaker 1: like he expects to go on Sunday. So we're of
- 28:05Speaker 1: the assumption at the time of recording a Wednesday that
- 28:08Speaker 1: he's going to play was going to the same go
- 28:10Speaker 1: down in the game on Sunday and got You know,
- 28:13Speaker 1: for for a moment you were thinking that could be
- 28:15Speaker 1: it for a while. Great to have him back on Sunday. Look,
- 28:19Speaker 1: he was good to see some sort of run game
- 28:21Speaker 1: established in Sunday against Houston. But obviously every other factor
- 28:24Speaker 1: on the offense needs to be worked out quickly. Any
- 28:27Speaker 1: Steelers fan Jimmy will sitting in this podcast or listening
- 28:29Speaker 1: to this podcast and say, we need a response, but
- 28:32Speaker 1: by god, we need a response quickly in this game
- 28:34Speaker 1: against the Ravens team, they're going to be coming out
- 28:36Speaker 1: of all guns blazing on Sunday.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Yeah, look the player, what Kenny Where Kenny got injured?
- 28:42Speaker 3: To be honest, I had my head in my hands
- 28:45Speaker 3: watching that.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It was it was far to maybe a long one.
- 28:49Speaker 2: The naturally like the natural assumption there is some sort
- 28:52Speaker 2: of running play, right everyone he's ever played Madden us
- 28:56Speaker 2: poising played No, you know that fourth and one It
- 28:59Speaker 2: might be obvious call, but you put it up the
- 29:01Speaker 2: jumper and you just rush, you know, you rush up
- 29:04Speaker 2: the middle and you get the one yard. So I
- 29:07Speaker 2: don't know what the rationale was there to call a
- 29:09Speaker 2: passing play, particularly having Kenny Roddy out of the pocket.
- 29:13Speaker 3: You know, that's not for us to know.
- 29:14Speaker 2: We're not the offensive coordinators, but like, I was absolutely
- 29:17Speaker 2: good to see him go down.
- 29:19Speaker 3: I'm glad that he's that it's not as bad as.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Was first was first thought, so that that's obviously positive
- 29:25Speaker 2: because you definitely want to have your QB one going
- 29:28Speaker 2: into this game against the Ravens.
- 29:31Speaker 3: And I think the running game is going to be
- 29:33Speaker 3: so crucial against the Ravens.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I mean, that's what our that's our brand of football,
- 29:37Speaker 2: that's Steers brand of football is it's hard, no smash
- 29:40Speaker 2: men at football, handed off and running down their throats.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So that's going to be a critical component of success
- 29:47Speaker 2: against the Ravens. And I think there's a lot of
- 29:51Speaker 2: there's a lack of cohesive that's still on the offensive
- 29:54Speaker 2: line and that's going to be crucial. But yeah, I
- 29:57Speaker 2: mean they're just this this. If there was ever an
- 30:00Speaker 2: opportunity to have a massive comeback, this game against the
- 30:04Speaker 2: Ravens has to be it. We have to come out
- 30:06Speaker 2: all guns blazing, hicking, scratching, screaming, swinging and put on a.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Show and just let's let's put this rough.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Couple of weeks behind us and let's move on with
- 30:17Speaker 2: positivity and have a great rest of the season. So
- 30:20Speaker 2: you know, my my fate was tested last weekend. I'm
- 30:23Speaker 2: not gonna lie. I commended the sitting room watch after
- 30:27Speaker 2: watching that game, and I was like, what did I
- 30:29Speaker 2: just what would I just witness? So look, I'm ever
- 30:34Speaker 2: positive and ever hopeful that that they're pulling out.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Of the bag this weekend.
- 30:38Speaker 1: And it's a love of sports to me, Like it's
- 30:39Speaker 1: it's the NFL, and it's it's sometimes beautiful how it's
- 30:43Speaker 1: so up and down, but when it's your team, either
- 30:45Speaker 1: wanted to be like that, you wanted to be full
- 30:46Speaker 1: team ahead everywhere. And I share your sentiments. I was.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I watched the game in a car in the taxi.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I was. I was going crazy in the taxi as well,
- 30:55Speaker 1: So I completely get it. And Dan, I know you
- 30:57Speaker 1: were the same. I mean, d Baltimore win the first
- 31:00Speaker 1: two games, they lose to the Colts, and bands are
- 31:03Speaker 1: like a bit like, but we're going now, like what's
- 31:06Speaker 1: going on here? And it's funny at the start of
- 31:07Speaker 1: the season when there's so much high energy stuff like
- 31:10Speaker 1: this happened they win against Cleveland like they win at
- 31:14Speaker 1: it like in Cleveland, and that reassures their fanbase. They're
- 31:17Speaker 1: looking at this game with a w and their cards,
- 31:19Speaker 1: and they're a team that have only allowed fourteen and
- 31:22Speaker 1: a half points per game so far this season. As
- 31:24Speaker 1: Jimmy said, this is the big one. A big offensive
- 31:28Speaker 1: performance is needed. Get both sides of the ball and
- 31:32Speaker 1: the pass and the receiving game needs to be on
- 31:35Speaker 1: fire this weekend going into this Baltimore game, and we
- 31:37Speaker 1: have to find a way to stop guys Exay Flyers
- 31:40Speaker 1: and stop Lamar Jackson from getting anywhere. And if anybody
- 31:43Speaker 1: can do it, honestly, this Pittsburgh defense can do it.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Please go.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I completely agree with everything you've said.
- 31:49Speaker 1: There.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Make a divisional game. I guess the Ravens it's going
- 31:52Speaker 4: to be tight. You know, you know, people will maybe
- 31:55Speaker 4: watch our performance last week and think, oh the Steelers,
- 31:58Speaker 4: you know that they can't even beat the time accents.
- 32:00Speaker 4: But when it comes to the Sea Lerton Raiments, it's
- 32:02Speaker 4: always a one score game. And if you think of
- 32:04Speaker 4: it as well, you know the played you know Gardner
- 32:07Speaker 4: Minshew and the player, the Cleveland Browns second trend quarterback.
- 32:11Speaker 4: His name escapes me like I had a pretty you know,
- 32:13Speaker 4: I'm not going to say they've had an easy run,
- 32:15Speaker 4: but compared ourselves, you know, we've We've played some good
- 32:18Speaker 4: teams like you mentioned about C. J. Stroud and you
- 32:21Speaker 4: know we we played the Browns as well, we managed
- 32:23Speaker 4: to beat them. So I just as just to relate
- 32:26Speaker 4: everything yourself and Jimmy just said, you know, if we
- 32:28Speaker 4: can just get both sides of the balls going, and
- 32:31Speaker 4: you know, anything can happen on any given Sunday. Let's
- 32:33Speaker 4: just hope obviously Canna can can can play. You know,
- 32:37Speaker 4: after the game, it was talking that potentially missing out
- 32:39Speaker 4: some on some time, but now partly the news is
- 32:42Speaker 4: a lot more positive. So, as Jimmy said, just going
- 32:45Speaker 4: into this Sunday with a positive head mindset thinking yet
- 32:49Speaker 4: we're gonna be able to This is the week we're
- 32:50Speaker 4: going to break through this glass seal and hopefully, you know,
- 32:53Speaker 4: by the end of it going into the bay, we're
- 32:55Speaker 4: three and two and not the other way around. So
- 32:57Speaker 4: fingers crossed the work, you know, boys.
- 33:01Speaker 2: All right, just to echo, it's not just the offense
- 33:03Speaker 2: that has to step back up. I mean, our defense
- 33:06Speaker 2: is in fairness, have carried us so far in the season.
- 33:09Speaker 2: But they were so they were so quiet against the Texans,
- 33:12Speaker 2: against a rookie quarterback, a banged up offensive line. Okay,
- 33:15Speaker 2: they got pressures, but there was no there was no
- 33:18Speaker 2: takeaways that we've been accustomed to it. They didn't have
- 33:21Speaker 2: a single sack. The cornerbacks and the secondary looked genuinely
- 33:25Speaker 2: lost the times. So I think that might have been
- 33:28Speaker 2: a potentially a bit of a drop game for us.
- 33:30Speaker 2: So I think, now, okay, we've we can just forget
- 33:35Speaker 2: about that. The Texans game happened. It was a disaster
- 33:38Speaker 2: from start to finish. Let's go into this game now
- 33:41Speaker 2: with a fresh mindset, and that's going to beat the Ravens.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Right. Let's as you said, positive mindset. Let's get a package.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this, theaters win a close game, seventeen sixteen.
- 33:55Speaker 1: It's gonna go out there and say sixteen points for
- 33:57Speaker 1: the crack Bat. They're gonna win seventeen sixteens high and
- 34:01Speaker 1: the place is going to be electric. Kenny'll play and
- 34:04Speaker 1: we're on a podcast on Monday, me after a London game,
- 34:07Speaker 1: half away agoing nuts, fleeing to in the season, looking
- 34:10Speaker 1: ahead to a great bye week. Positive vibes for me, Jimmy,
- 34:14Speaker 1: what are you thinking?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Man?
- 34:16Speaker 3: You know I'm an aftural optimist. Nick. I always have been,
- 34:19Speaker 3: and sometimes to my detriment, but I can't help.
- 34:21Speaker 2: But it's just my nature. I have faith in the
- 34:24Speaker 2: Steelers team. I have faith they're going to bounce back.
- 34:27Speaker 2: I have faith in my tom at least, and I'm
- 34:32Speaker 2: going twenty one to twenty Steelers we just about eke
- 34:36Speaker 2: it out and we get away with the win, and
- 34:39Speaker 2: everything is right in the world again.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Everything that's right in the world. Well, Dave true man,
- 34:46Speaker 1: I'm at further loving at the weekend, and I talked
- 34:48Speaker 1: him aout the Steels, so he's going to try and
- 34:50Speaker 1: get involit That actually holp him. I even choking. Give
- 34:53Speaker 1: us your big prediction, mate, go for it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: You know what?
- 34:57Speaker 4: Just even listening to Jimmy there, it's just stole my scoreline.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Just I was thinking of a score gam me there,
- 35:01Speaker 4: but I haven't said that I was. I was just like,
- 35:04Speaker 4: I'm gonna sort of not drop dramatize. This is out
- 35:06Speaker 4: the word I'm looking for. I think this is what's
- 35:08Speaker 4: gonna happen. The Ravens are gonna be winning twenty eight
- 35:11Speaker 4: to nineteen in the last ten seconds of the game,
- 35:14Speaker 4: we're gonna hurt one to the end zones score and
- 35:17Speaker 4: we're gonna go for a two point conversion of when
- 35:18Speaker 4: a twenty one to twenty is night production as well.
- 35:20Speaker 4: It's optimistic. I don't know, Mac, you have.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Such a John Harbor move there against against against the
- 35:26Speaker 1: real of it. I love it. I love it, boys,
- 35:28Speaker 1: I love it right. I feel like we've reset the
- 35:32Speaker 1: whole situation. This is great. I feel like we're gonna
- 35:34Speaker 1: start again here too, and so we're gonna go for
- 35:36Speaker 1: a boys. I mean, it could be worse. I mean,
- 35:39Speaker 1: I said to myself and Gez, the more there could
- 35:40Speaker 1: be a Giants fan and that whole situation the Monday
- 35:42Speaker 1: and football. So I'll take it there and we'll go
- 35:45Speaker 1: from there. Boys. Obviously the game, you can listen to
- 35:48Speaker 1: the game on OTB Sports Radio off the ball that's
- 35:50Speaker 1: both Northern South. Just get onto the app OTB Sports
- 35:53Speaker 1: on the app and the zone NFL game Pass. The
- 35:57Speaker 1: game is not all the sky this weekend, unfortunately, I'm
- 36:00Speaker 1: going to say it should be because it's the best
- 36:01Speaker 1: game of the weekend obviously for us lads. But certainly
- 36:04Speaker 1: you can follow along on all social at Staeters Ireland
