- 0:31Speaker 2: the I got busted for a high speed chase and
- 0:34Speaker 2: I bailed out and I was going to court on
- 0:37Speaker 2: bail and shit, and then I just messed up and
- 0:39Speaker 2: I didn't go to court. Uh so I had to
- 0:41Speaker 2: do time for that.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Damn. So that's past you.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yes, you got no open cases on good.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Are you still on probation?
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yes?
- 0:48Speaker 1: Okay, that's the hard thing, right because you got you're
- 0:51Speaker 1: an artist. You're moving around.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I can't move around like that. That's what sucks. Yeah,
- 0:55Speaker 2: but I could still do my thing in Kelly.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Did you have any cause I remember before you were
- 1:02Speaker 1: locked up? Was it almost two years ago?
- 1:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:04Speaker 1: A year and a half ago when you did Rolling Loud,
- 1:06Speaker 1: it was like the most viral it was.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Uh, I think it was last year.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I think it might have been twenty twenty four, because
- 1:11Speaker 1: there wasn't Rolling Loud in La last year. I don't
- 1:13Speaker 1: think maybe there was twenty four. It was twenty four.
- 1:17Speaker 2: No, I think it was last year.
- 1:18Speaker 1: In March it was twenty twenty four, was it? Yeah?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Tripping time flies, I'm fucking flies, dog, What do you
- 1:27Speaker 1: feel like you? Was there anything you were doing before
- 1:33Speaker 1: missing the court date caught up to you where you
- 1:35Speaker 1: were like, fuck, all right, I gotta refocus because I
- 1:37Speaker 1: always felt like whenever we would talk, you'd be pretty.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Like like you know, most of the time, I'd just
- 1:41Speaker 2: be pretty chill, like I'd be chilling this shit. But
- 1:46Speaker 2: it just be like it's like with the ankle monitor
- 1:49Speaker 2: and all that shit, Like, right, you know, I'll be
- 1:51Speaker 2: coming all the way down here to Hollywood. Sometimes I
- 1:53Speaker 2: forget my ankle monitors. That motherfucker start vibrating. I'm like,
- 1:57Speaker 2: fuck and if it dies, that's a violation, bro, Damn.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So it's like those little things you still have, the
- 2:02Speaker 1: inkle monitor.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, they put no one on me. Dang.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So if you want to go anywhere, do you have
- 2:07Speaker 1: to Like, let's say you want to go to la
- 2:09Speaker 1: for the day just to work.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Now that I'm good, anywhere in California is good.
- 2:13Speaker 1: But if you want to get permission to go do
- 2:14Speaker 1: a show in like Vegas, you have to ask.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, And most of the time it's like it's like
- 2:19Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like they granted when it's
- 2:22Speaker 2: like a funeral or something like.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Right, like, but I'm sure maybe if you like showed
- 2:28Speaker 1: them like, hey, I have a contract to do a
- 2:30Speaker 1: performance for extra Yeah, because I remember when we had
- 2:34Speaker 1: the Alexis song going Crazy in Phoenix.
- 2:37Speaker 2: At the at the Sun's Game, Yeah exactly.
- 2:40Speaker 1: And we're like, he'd be crazy to have Rady come
- 2:42Speaker 1: out do the record, but you couldn't come out. Yeah,
- 2:45Speaker 1: that would have been crazy.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Well, I mean, look, it's it's good to see your back.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I was like, dude, it's good to be back.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Man. Yeah, how did How do how do you feel?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Man? Like?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Just in general, do you feel like super focused? You
- 2:57Speaker 1: feel fresh?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Eddy bo, I'm just I'm just ready. I'm trying to
- 3:01Speaker 2: cut off all distractions. I'm just trying to I'm trying
- 3:04Speaker 2: to get to it, bro, straight up, because I got
- 3:06Speaker 2: some I got too much content, too much music talent.
- 3:11Speaker 2: You got some talent and talent and talent. It's just
- 3:14Speaker 2: easy for me to make music like good as music,
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yeah for sure. So it's like, but the fact that
- 3:20Speaker 2: I'm not where I'm supposed to be right now is
- 3:21Speaker 2: pissing me off. You know.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Now you go back to jail and you are. You're
- 3:26Speaker 1: more bigger than the last time you were there, right,
- 3:28Speaker 1: So now you're back and it's gotta be you're even
- 3:30Speaker 1: probably more popping.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Like every every time everywhere I go, Bro, the cops
- 3:34Speaker 2: know me, the fucking inmates know me. They're like rowdy,
- 3:38Speaker 2: what are you doing in here? I'm like, you motherfuckers
- 3:40Speaker 2: got me up in here.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Did you have any cops that were fans?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah, like damn near all of them. That's fire Yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 2: that's just pretty tight.
- 3:47Speaker 1: That's pretty dope to be like, oh hey, thank you man, Hey,
- 3:49Speaker 1: let me get some extra fucking So yeah, that's fire man.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Well it's good to see Brett. Are you are and
- 3:57Speaker 1: then you have to do piss testing.
- 3:58Speaker 2: And all that, yeah, all that type.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, you gotta stay clean. Yeah, just stay on
- 4:02Speaker 1: the on the on the on the vape.
- 4:03Speaker 2: That's what I'm doing. But well I got this. Uh.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I'm teamed up with this company called Sober International. Yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 2: they do, like they're sober living company. They have multiple
- 4:12Speaker 2: houses and ship. But we're doing that back to school
- 4:14Speaker 2: giveaway fire at Point de part Get fire. Yeah, on
- 4:17Speaker 2: the twenty sixth, we're giving away like hundreds of backpacks
- 4:19Speaker 2: and school supplies doing her.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That's a big dude.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty tight.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Are you.
- 4:24Speaker 2: For you?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Like, is staying sober still a problem?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Is? Nah? Not? I mean so far so good. Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Hell yeah, you know that's something that probably never leave,
- 4:32Speaker 2: you know, or at least not after years they say.
- 4:35Speaker 2: You know, but my isge to do music is way
- 4:37Speaker 2: more harder than that.
- 4:39Speaker 1: You know, Like do you go to any meetings at all?
- 4:41Speaker 2: Nah? I have, Well, just with that that company, you know,
- 4:44Speaker 2: I've been hooking up with them, spending time with them,
- 4:47Speaker 2: like they're they're amazing, bro. They got a lot of
- 4:49Speaker 2: good things going on, you know, and then and everything
- 4:52Speaker 2: that they do, most of it is all free. You know.
- 4:54Speaker 2: They get donations from companies, right, Like I just noticed,
- 4:59Speaker 2: like you know, I told them, man, this must be
- 5:00Speaker 2: what happens when you give your life to God.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Listen. I grew up my uncle owned a drug rehab
- 5:05Speaker 1: So from the time I was like twelve until I
- 5:09Speaker 1: was like twenty, I worked out of his drug rehab.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So I grew up in that environment. I was sitting
- 5:15Speaker 1: in on meetings. I've probably been the one hundred and
- 5:17Speaker 1: fifty twelve step meetings.
- 5:19Speaker 2: It's a it's a life changer, bro, those those companies.
- 5:23Speaker 2: If it wasn't for those type of companies, Bro, a
- 5:25Speaker 2: lot of a lot of lives would be.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You know, trashed, wreck one hundreds.
- 5:30Speaker 2: You know, they saved lives, bro.
- 5:31Speaker 1: For what was the craziest thing that you saw going
- 5:35Speaker 1: on out here while you were locked up that you
- 5:37Speaker 1: were like, what the fuck's happening? Oh man? And eight months?
- 5:40Speaker 1: A lot of stuff happens in the world, in the streets,
- 5:43Speaker 1: in the streets, in the music game and anything.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I was hearing a bunch of different shit, you know,
- 5:48Speaker 2: but I'd really like what I'm in there. I don't
- 5:49Speaker 2: really like i'm in there, you know what I'm when
- 5:53Speaker 2: I'm in jail, I just focused on what's going.
- 5:55Speaker 1: On around me.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I keep your head on the swivel, man, yeah,
- 5:58Speaker 2: I make my music, and I just just focused on
- 6:00Speaker 2: my daily routine a lot of writing. Yeah, hell yeah, yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 2: you know, besides, like you know, my family and what
- 6:06Speaker 2: I got going on personally, I don't really trip on
- 6:08Speaker 2: the outside world like that.
- 6:10Speaker 1: How much you think you were writing in there?
- 6:12Speaker 2: I had a couple of notebooks, but yeah, that's the
- 6:14Speaker 2: only time I write is in jail, you know.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Otherwise you're just punching in.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Do you feel like when you're writing though, like it's
- 6:21Speaker 1: a little better in terms of like you're taking your
- 6:24Speaker 1: time with the lines a little more.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I feel like when i'm right, I don't really like
- 6:28Speaker 2: to write, you know, because like I don't know, it's
- 6:31Speaker 2: just it's different, you know, you get stuck or like,
- 6:34Speaker 2: you know, most of the time, I just write to
- 6:36Speaker 2: not forget what I just came up with in my head, right.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Because you already came up with it, Yeah, I got tolf.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because in the streets I won't forget it because
- 6:43Speaker 2: I'm recording it. Yeah, you know, but so in there
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'll just be like, ooh, I was dope, give me
- 6:47Speaker 2: a piece of.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Paper, you know, right. So, have you laid down any
- 6:51Speaker 1: of your prison raps yet.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they're they're hard, that's fire, They're crazy.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I feel like if I was a rapper and I
- 6:56Speaker 1: went to jail, I would just come out with just
- 6:58Speaker 1: like twelve albums content content. What do you write to beats?
- 7:02Speaker 1: Like is the radio on or something? Or you just
- 7:04Speaker 1: right there?
- 7:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I just it's just whatever pops in, whatever's in
- 7:07Speaker 2: your head you're writing. Yeah, you know, somebody will say
- 7:09Speaker 2: something slick, or I'll see something and I'll make a
- 7:12Speaker 2: reference to it or something like that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You know, did you have any issues this last time
- 7:16Speaker 1: in there? Any like everybody was cool, there was no
- 7:18Speaker 1: was already dramma.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I hardly. I hardly have any issues in it. You know,
- 7:22Speaker 2: just sometimes with the cops and shit that were tripping.
- 7:25Speaker 2: But besides that, it's pretty smooth.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah. How long is this probation going to be?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Up to three year probation, But I could get off
- 7:32Speaker 2: of it in a year. It's not bad. Yeah, I'm
- 7:35Speaker 2: just fucking keep your nose clean for a year.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Keep that ankle monitor charge. I know, Bro, I's got
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be the most frustrated. Shit you leave the house
- 7:43Speaker 1: that you totally forgot Bro.
- 7:44Speaker 2: One time I was coming from uh this studio right
- 7:47Speaker 2: here down the street. I know that, and I'm smashing
- 7:50Speaker 2: because my thing's been vibrating for like forty five minutes,
- 7:53Speaker 2: you know, yeah, And I'm like, man, I'm smashing all
- 7:56Speaker 2: the way home, and it finally died five minutes before
- 7:58Speaker 2: I got home. I got home, plugged in, and then
- 8:00Speaker 2: I went to report that week and I got violated
- 8:02Speaker 2: for that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Is it like a certain amount of times you could
- 8:05Speaker 1: do that before They're.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Like it had already died like once or twice.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I think, Jesus, that's crazy. Man, are you already How
- 8:12Speaker 1: many songs have you recorded since you got out?
- 8:15Speaker 2: Probably like twelve eleven or twelve in the studio, like
- 8:18Speaker 2: two three times?
- 8:19Speaker 1: That's good, are you? Because I feel like there's there's
- 8:23Speaker 1: been like this kind of new wave of like the
- 8:27Speaker 1: shoreline guys are going crazy.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Uh you saw the foods always go crazy?
- 8:31Speaker 1: You saw the Phoenix flexing song Rubbers. Yeah, I feel
- 8:34Speaker 1: like you would sound so fire on some crazy eighty shit.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I chucked out on that, but I do like all
- 8:40Speaker 2: different types of music, so like I tripped out on it,
- 8:44Speaker 2: like you know that that was different.
- 8:45Speaker 1: But because you're like, wait, this is phoenix flexing?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't. I would did not expect for that
- 8:49Speaker 2: to be ham and shit, you know, but yeah I do.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I like all types of different music, you know, like
- 8:54Speaker 2: eighty M rock. I like everything, so I wanted to

- 11:42Speaker 2: you know, I'm spending a lot more time around the kids,
- 11:44Speaker 2: and I'm liking it. It's just cool, like they love me,
- 11:47Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And it's like as an artist,
- 11:50Speaker 2: you know, running around doing this and doing that, you
- 11:53Speaker 2: don't really you know, sometimes I wouldn't even answer my
- 11:57Speaker 2: phone and shit like that, doing it because of my
- 11:59Speaker 2: family shit, because I just like, I don't know, it's.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Busy, yeah, you know what I mean. But if you're
- 12:03Speaker 1: in the studio. I do that with my parents sometimes, yeah,

- 12:15Speaker 1: The kids is the baby mama situation. Good.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Me and my baby mama are straight. Yeahah, but I'm
- 12:21Speaker 2: like my my brother's kids, my nieces and nephews, my
- 12:23Speaker 2: little cousins, like they're just they're so happy to have

- 12:38Speaker 2: like religiously, the kids.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 2: And then I met this other little girl, Uh, not
- 12:42Speaker 2: that long ago. It was one of the people from
- 12:44Speaker 2: Sober International's daughter. Yeah, her name's Devea. She like, she
- 12:50Speaker 2: tripped me out, bro, she changed my life. Look, she's like,
- 12:53Speaker 2: you're such an inspiration to me, and you know your
- 12:55Speaker 2: music gets me through the day. Yeah, she's a very
- 12:58Speaker 2: very intelligent, bright, special little girl.
- 13:00Speaker 1: You know that's gotta be dope. You just like know,
- 13:02Speaker 1: like you're inspiring people.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I tripped out, like, you gotta be extra on your piece.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I know that the kids love Roddy Rax and my music,
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know, but to hear this little girl tell me
- 13:12Speaker 2: exactly how she felt about me, you know, it was like,
- 13:14Speaker 2: oh my god, Yeah, it's a trip.
- 13:16Speaker 1: How old was she? She's eleven, eleven year old man's
- 13:20Speaker 1: eleven year old bumping rowdy racks. That shit is, by
- 13:24Speaker 1: the way, that is random as fun.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I know. And so I had to tell her like, Okay,
- 13:29Speaker 2: my music gets you to the day. But you know,
- 13:31Speaker 2: it's just music.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It's entertaining, it's entertainment.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yeah right, you know, it's just music. Right, you don't
- 13:36Speaker 2: try to be like that or anything like that. She said, No,
- 13:37Speaker 2: it's just like the energy and the vibe and yeah, Okay, cool.
- 13:40Speaker 2: You know I have to make sure that.
- 13:41Speaker 1: When are you gonna put out some new ship? Are
- 13:44Speaker 1: you getting ready? Yeah? Hell yeah, you already got the
- 13:46Speaker 1: song picked.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Out, have songs picked out? Definitely? I'm putting an album
- 13:49Speaker 2: together to a.
- 13:50Speaker 1: That's dope, man. Yeah, I feel like I feel like
- 13:54Speaker 1: for you man, it's like, you just gotta get through
- 13:58Speaker 1: this year. If you can get off early, once you
- 14:00Speaker 1: get on getting on the other side of that year,
- 14:02Speaker 1: then you can go do all these who wants smokes
- 14:04Speaker 1: and fucking all these over all the shows and.
- 14:07Speaker 2: All that ship it's over. That's over.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Have you linked up with the drexit all since you
- 14:12Speaker 1: got out? And then you guys got to say.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Now we FaceTime a couple of couple of times. He's
- 14:15Speaker 2: doing his little daddy thing and stuff like y you know,
- 14:17Speaker 2: but that's good. I'm proud of him, yeah, because because
- 14:20Speaker 2: you know, coming from where we come from, especially getting
- 14:23Speaker 2: a lot of attention, it's like it's difficult, you know,
- 14:27Speaker 2: because a lot of motherfucker excuse my language, A lot
- 14:29Speaker 2: of dudes out there they want smoke for no reason.
- 14:32Speaker 2: They just like looking for Cloud.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I can imagine it's just because it feels like that
- 14:37Speaker 1: dude's always just wrapped up in like random beef and I'm.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Like, he's young, so imagine how hard it is for
- 14:41Speaker 2: him to bite his tongue to.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Be the bigger person.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, which is that's what you have to do
- 14:46Speaker 2: when you're a professional, you're an artist, you have to ignore.
- 14:50Speaker 2: You know. I got so many people that comment on
- 14:52Speaker 2: my stuff that once they come in something I don't
- 14:54Speaker 2: like or like, they say something like about me and
- 14:56Speaker 2: my personal family, I just block them, bro, because.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I hit bro. Block is the best thing I got over.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I got hundreds of people.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Too, probably got because they got a thousand people. Yeah. Yeah,
- 15:07Speaker 1: anybody says some crazy shit in my comments.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Block, I ain't going back with these people, bro, I'm not.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Going back and forth. I'm not letting nobody.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Want to access, like, you know, information on me.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Well, you don't want them to even be able to
- 15:17Speaker 1: have access to your energy. Somebody leaves one comment, you
- 15:20Speaker 1: see it, you'd be like, ah, these motherfuckers.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah, man, homie, I don't seen some crazy ass comments.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and then that's you know, you get into a
- 15:28Speaker 1: back and forth with somebody.
- 15:29Speaker 2: That's what I don't do, though, Like you know, but
- 15:32Speaker 2: I block them early because my family and my fans
- 15:35Speaker 2: be going back and forth with them and ship. Yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 2: and I don't want nobody to get wrapped up in
- 15:39Speaker 2: nothing over me, you know.
- 15:40Speaker 1: So for you being now that you're out and working
- 15:44Speaker 1: with this sober charity, are you are you? Are you
- 15:48Speaker 1: living at home? You're living in a halfway house? Like,
- 15:49Speaker 1: what's your.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Situation right now? I'm staying with family, but I'm gonna
- 15:52Speaker 2: be going to a halfway house pretty soon, just to
- 15:54Speaker 2: set the example.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And that's not court ordered, You're just not going yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna just go. I want to be involved
- 16:00Speaker 2: with these people and have a story in the background,
- 16:03Speaker 2: you know, to say that I've been there and done that,
- 16:06Speaker 2: and just to set the example for other people that
- 16:08Speaker 2: go through certain situations like I have.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Yeah, do you have a sponsor?
- 16:13Speaker 2: No? Not yet?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Not yet. Yeah, I'm sure when you go.
- 16:15Speaker 2: But I consider myself to have multiple sponsors because I
- 16:18Speaker 2: have lots of people that you can count on a call,
- 16:20Speaker 2: yes anytime, that are leading me in the right direction.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That's fucking awesome, bro, that's good to hear. Do you
- 16:25Speaker 1: have any idea what you're going to call your album?
- 16:27Speaker 2: Nah, I don't know. I'm tossing around a couple of ideas.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But my mixtape, my one of my mixtapes was called
- 16:35Speaker 2: The Kickoff. The other one was called The Return YEP,
- 16:37Speaker 2: So I don't know. It might be something based off
- 16:39Speaker 2: of that theme. Yo.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Do you feel like the Latin hip hop shit is
- 16:45Speaker 1: better or worse off? From the time you win in?
- 16:48Speaker 2: It's way better off now? Well, I don't know about
- 16:51Speaker 2: from the time I went in, but definitely from the
- 16:52Speaker 2: time I started it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I feel like definitely from the time you started.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Me and a few other like handful of artists has
- 16:58Speaker 2: definitely been kicking doors down, you know.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like it's it's it's kind of getting
- 17:03Speaker 1: to this point where it's like starting to cross over
- 17:05Speaker 1: a bit, like I think even like I think like
- 17:08Speaker 1: guys like Ojez have done such a good job of
- 17:10Speaker 1: like showing people a good example.
- 17:13Speaker 2: He's sober, he's done his ship, he's a businessman his ship.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, in a real way. And I feel like
- 17:20Speaker 1: I feel like the one thing that I always see
- 17:23Speaker 1: a lot of Latin artists participate in that it's almost
- 17:26Speaker 1: like low hanging fruit because it's like it's easy to
- 17:29Speaker 1: get views, and it's easy to get attention if you
- 17:31Speaker 1: participate in beef for negative shit because they'll.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Post that's what they love, that's what they love. That's
- 17:37Speaker 2: what I hate, bro. That's you'll never see me participating
- 17:40Speaker 2: in any like social media beef or or kicking up
- 17:44Speaker 2: drama to get cloud. I'm not about that, you know.
- 17:47Speaker 1: But it's like, I can understand if you're like a
- 17:49Speaker 1: young kid and you don't know any better, and you're like, oh,
- 17:51Speaker 1: this is That's what I'm.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Saying about the homie dregs. You know, I'm proud of
- 17:54Speaker 2: him for taking a step back and you know, realizing
- 17:58Speaker 2: what's important in life, taking care of his son and
- 18:01Speaker 2: not really indulging in all of this internet drama because
- 18:04Speaker 2: it's just I feel like it's endless. Bro.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Yeah, because you do it and then you see your
- 18:08Speaker 1: numbers go up, and then you're like, oh, well this
- 18:11Speaker 1: is what the people want. You see your problems go
- 18:13Speaker 1: up to the problem is is that people they like
- 18:15Speaker 1: to participate in the beef online, but they don't. That
- 18:17Speaker 1: doesn't mean they're gonna go listen to your fucking music,
- 18:19Speaker 1: you know what I'm say.
- 18:19Speaker 2: And not only that they like to participate in the
- 18:22Speaker 2: beef online and then that carries over to real beef
- 18:25Speaker 2: out in the streets.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Are you run into somebody, you're at the gas station, and.
- 18:29Speaker 2: The sheriffs don't care about whether or not they initiated
- 18:32Speaker 2: it or what's going on on the internet. They're not
- 18:34Speaker 2: gonna put any of that into consideration. You know, you're
- 18:37Speaker 2: gonna get in trouble because you're the artist that even
- 18:40Speaker 2: if these people came up to you and approached you,
- 18:42Speaker 2: they feel like it's your fault.
- 18:44Speaker 1: The cops don't play man, even if they think that
- 18:46Speaker 1: you're like, you know, we I work with a group
- 18:50Speaker 1: called the Cactus Boys in Phoenix. Now cbe they're doing
- 18:53Speaker 1: their thing. Food community just made them like the Artists
- 18:56Speaker 1: of the Year or some shit, but the cops like
- 18:59Speaker 1: bad them from doing shows in Phoenix. And just because
- 19:02Speaker 1: they got guns in their videos.
- 19:04Speaker 2: That's why I do not put any guns.
- 19:05Speaker 1: But they don't. They're not beefing with nobody. They've never
- 19:08Speaker 1: had any issues. But if you're watching the video.
- 19:11Speaker 2: You bro because having guns in your videos that's an
- 19:14Speaker 2: invitation to the fedes.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But that's Phoenix. Phoenix is open carry, little wild wild West,
- 19:19Speaker 1: so it's different in Arizona. Everybody's strapped.
- 19:22Speaker 2: That's why I want to get out of California a
- 19:23Speaker 2: lot too, because I've done four prison terms, all for firearms,
- 19:27Speaker 2: and it's like, bro, in other states, that's a.
- 19:28Speaker 1: You could just protect yourself. Well, no, in Phoenix, it's
- 19:30Speaker 1: not a ticket.
- 19:31Speaker 2: It's having an unlicensed.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Oh no, no, in Phoenix, you don't need a license.
- 19:34Speaker 2: No, I'm unregistered.
- 19:37Speaker 1: No really, Yeah, I could literally see you on the
- 19:39Speaker 1: corner and be like, let me buy that gun off you.
- 19:41Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Here you go and now it's mine.
- 19:44Speaker 2: That's crazy. Oh we hear you straight.
- 19:47Speaker 1: One hundred percent. Arizona or California is one of the worst.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I mean, I think New York's probably the worst because
- 19:53Speaker 1: you just can't have a gun in New York. That
- 19:54Speaker 1: make it pretty impossible. But here, coming from Phoenix and
- 19:59Speaker 1: like seeing how the gun shit is here. I'm not
- 20:01Speaker 1: a gun guy, so I don't really give a fuck,
- 20:03Speaker 1: but the shit sucks.
- 20:05Speaker 2: And imagine if you have groups of people that are
- 20:08Speaker 2: really attempting to their making attempts on your life and you're.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like you can't even like properly protect yourself. Listen,
- 20:15Speaker 1: I mean, even if you live in a bad area,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and if you live in a good area, it's like
- 20:20Speaker 1: that's where everyone's getting robbed.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yes, it's like especially for people like me and that
- 20:25Speaker 2: come from my lifestyle and stuff like that. It's like,
- 20:27Speaker 2: what do you have a choice whether you're gonna risk
- 20:29Speaker 2: prison or risk your life?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Do you as a fell in, are you not allowed
- 20:34Speaker 1: to own a gun? Ever?
- 20:35Speaker 2: Now? I'm not allowed to own bb gun. You know,
- 20:38Speaker 2: I'm not allowed to have a mace. You know what
- 20:41Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Could you have a certified security guard with you to
- 20:46Speaker 1: carry a gun? Yes?
- 20:47Speaker 2: Okay, yes, I just cannot have access to it or
- 20:49Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's I mean, that's that damn dude.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Calli's fucking been in prison four times over behind that shit.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Dang, that's crazy. Do you feel like you've been to
- 21:01Speaker 1: prison so much that it's a little hard for you
- 21:02Speaker 1: to kind of get out of the.
- 21:04Speaker 2: It's a cycle mentality and the habit It's a cycle, bro,
- 21:08Speaker 2: It's a it's a you know, it's Department of Corrections
- 21:12Speaker 2: and Rehabilitation. But the rehabilitation, like you have to go
- 21:16Speaker 2: out of your way to rehabilitate yourself you know, right.
- 21:20Speaker 1: You got to go out of your way to sign
- 21:21Speaker 1: up for programs, you got to go out of your
- 21:23Speaker 1: way to avoid shit in there.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And even then it's like it's just I mean, they're
- 21:27Speaker 2: putting you. It's like a community of felons. You know,
- 21:31Speaker 2: it's a prison, is just a big community housing thing
- 21:36Speaker 2: full of criminals and felons, and it's like they expect
- 21:39Speaker 2: you to come out better, you know, and rehabilitate it.
- 21:41Speaker 2: It's hard bro.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Shout out to our brothers, a hard Dean Man outs family.
