- 0:01Hello. Welcome to the No God Coach
- 0:02Huddle for May 3rd, 2025. Your twominute
- 0:07play of the day for applying God's word
- 0:09to your life. So, let's huddle up and
- 0:11hear today's play for Mark 4, which
- 0:14says, "Some people are like seed along
- 0:16the path where the word is sown. As soon
- 0:19as they hear it, Satan comes and takes
- 0:21away the word that was sown in them.
- 0:23Others, like seed sown on rocky places,
- 0:26hear the word and at once receive it
- 0:28with joy. But since they have no root,
- 0:30they last only a short time. When
- 0:32trouble or persecution comes because of
- 0:34the word, they quickly fall away. Still
- 0:37others, like seeds sown among thorns,
- 0:39hear the word. But the worries of this
- 0:41life, the deceitfulness of wealth and
- 0:43the desire for other things come in and
- 0:46choke the word, making it unfruitful.
- 0:48Others like seeds sewn on good soil,
- 0:51hear the word, accept it, and produce a
- 0:53crop. Some 30, some 60, some a h 100
- 0:56times what was
- 0:58sown. You know, while God wants everyone
- 1:01reconciled to him so that they can live
- 1:03forever with him, only 25% of people
- 1:06respond properly to his demands that
- 1:09allow us to be reconciled to God. Half
- 1:12of the people who believe in God, who
- 1:14accept his coming to earth as savior in
- 1:16Jesus, fail to live forever with God
- 1:20because of pressures without or
- 1:22competing desires within. These people
- 1:24fear men who when evil men malign them
- 1:27and persecute them for believing in
- 1:30following Jesus, causing them to abandon
- 1:32their allegiance to Jesus. These people
- 1:35do not love God first, most evidenced by
- 1:38their endless pursuit of peace,
- 1:39pleasure, or prestige. to make their
- 1:42lives more pleasurable. And so they deny
- 1:44God by their devotions and actions. The
- 1:47true follower of Jesus, the person we
- 1:49know and who themselves know is rightly
- 1:52reconciled to God, bears fruit for God.
- 1:55This fruit involves reproducing the life
- 1:57of Christ within themselves and out in
- 2:00the world. Like the half that ultimately
- 2:02rejects God from fears without or other
- 2:04loves within, the true disciple repents
- 2:07and becomes like Jesus inwardly bearing
- 2:10the fruit of the spirit while outwardly
- 2:12working to seek and save the lost and
- 2:15teach obedience to the saved, making
- 2:17disciples of all people everywhere to
- 2:19see God's kingdom come and his will be
- 2:21done on earth as it is in heaven. The
- 2:24good soil produces fruit. The bad soil
- 2:27remains as it was since it first
- 2:29believed. The good soil yields evidence
- 2:32of the seed that was planted. The bad
- 2:34soil yields no such evidence of good
- 2:37seed planted. We can measure ourselves
- 2:39by the fruit we produce. God will do
- 2:41this as well on that day that we meet
- 2:43him face to face. And he either rewards
- 2:46us for our fruit or condemns us for
- 2:48having none.
